some watching online you've had a pretty rough week maybe huh if you've had a rough week this week just simply nod many of you have faced struggles this week that we all know nothing about maybe in the quiet maybe in the closet maybe in the vehicle on your job in your health maybe the battle in your mind but nobody else knows anything about it it possibly even could be that there are some among us who basically you've decided it might be time just to do something else and throw in the towel and walk away and you're just not seeing the answer i dare to say today there might be some sitting in this room that have walked through despair and depression this past week and in your spirit today you come hungry and you come empty but i want to encourage somebody today listen carefully your pastor we are together again we are together again we are together once again together today we have prayed together today we have encouraged one another together today we have worshiped and we have sung the songs together and now we gather in one spirit and one mind to receive a word from the lord i welcome you today to another miracle come on some of you are direct recipients of the miraculous of god just in these past few days some of you are tired weary but you came to the house of the lord i thank you for doing that i don't want to over dramat dramatize things i don't want to play into the emotions of humanity but i declare that in any given day at any given group of people that there will be struggles and there will be disappointments strife is a real challenge that we all face in life that is true there are scars there are bruises from the war that we face every day in the spirit but again i am not painting a picture that hollywood or the media or the press would want to paint i am simply acknowledging the fact that life is real but we are gathered again today in the presence of the lord we are gathered here today in the presence of the lord and it is in that togetherness that you will become an overcomer it is in that unity and binding together with those around you that you will draw strength for the days ahead of you hebrews chapter number 10 verse 19 having therefore brethren boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of jesus by a new and living way which he hath consecrated for us through the veil that is to say his flesh verse 21 and having an high priest over the house of god let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water come on let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering for he is faithful that promised and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good works not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together as the manner of of some is but exhorting one another and such the more as you see the day approaching i believe that jesus has made a way his blood has paved the way so that you and i can come together and we can receive of what he desires for every single one of us but the one thing today that i am required to do as pastor standing in this podium as the preacher is to simply tell you stand firm in jesus christ let him be the chief cornerstone on which you build your life understand that when the trials come that the lord god already is there in the midst of your trial when temptations come your way realize the lord god of all creation has made a way for you to make it through it coming together there is a purpose to exhort one another that word exhort simply means this to make a strong appeal and to urge i would stand here today at this podium and i would say to every one of you listening to my voice right now i urge you to continue in your faith in jesus christ we are better together more than we are separate on any given sunday there are testimonies in this place of the goodness and the mercies of god the goodness and the mercies of god sister kela has the lord been good to you come on tell us what the lord's done in your life you got three seconds go oh you got to stand up come on and abundantly and i'm telling you when i didn't know how i was gonna eat oh come on we need to hear these things carly what's the lord told you this week god is a god that can help you with anxiety you need to hear that this week i didn't tell any of these folks i was going to ask them to say something but i know one thing when we get in a group of people there's always going to be struggles things going on in our lives but together but together we're not wavering we're standing on the firm foundation i know the lord has provided for us this week i know that he made a way for us this week when i think of the goodness of the lord jesus christ when i remember all that he's done for me my soul will shout out hallelujah why because he is god in my life i can tell you right now he's always faithful even in the midst of unfaithfulness in our world god is faithful he's an old time god he's a very present god he knows where you are he sees where you're headed he knows where you've come through together we strengthen one another can you recall a moment in your mind that you thought everything was lost everything was undone and nothing was coming together but then god came in and changed it now your testimony simply says this when i didn't god did when i couldn't god could when i didn't know god knew when i was unaware god was aware when it was falling apart god was holding me together your testimony says to somebody you know what he's a good god he's a promise fulfilling god it might be a sugar right now but i come to tell you there is nothing more that the enemy wants than to discourage you and distract you at this moment from the blessing that god has given to you that is why together we are stronger why because i am very capable brother toronto forgetting sometimes the goodness of the lord but if i come up alongside you and you whisper into my ear god's been good to you god has blessed you god has touched your body i'm reminded you know what you're right i'm not down and out and going by the graves no i'm standing firm in who god is and what he has done in my life to the church at thessalonica this was written first thessalonians 4 16 for the lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout the voice of the archangel with the trump of god the dead and christ shall rise first then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together to meet them in the clouds to meet the lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the lord listen comfort one another with these words jesus is coming he's coming back he's coming back the clouds are gonna part we're gonna be released from gravity we're coming up off this earth whether you're in the grave or you're alive somebody ought to be thrilled to death right now that there is still a place called heaven there is still a place called eternity that the lord jesus christ has prepared for all of us together we can see the plan of god working here to tell you he's returning for his bride he is returning for his bride he is returning for those who have readied themselves i recall this week what the lord has done for me i was reminded this week of the goodness of the lord when i see his plan come together and i see all of you come together into the house of the lord there's one thing that i am assured of and that is this jesus is working in your lives and jesus is coming for his church i am encouraged today by the hand of the lord working in your life i have seen personally i have heard your testimonies i have watched the miraculous happen in you and i know beyond the shadow of any doubt that god's plan is coming to fruition in you this past week i've already told you i had the opportunity to go to camp meeting incredible preaching incredible friendship incredible move of god things happening i've been in the district for many many years i have a lot of pastor friends a lot of colleagues if you will peers of mine and i look at them and they ask me and how's your church in chattanooga i said buddy i am so blessed god has been good to us are you rebuilding after the tornado you better believe i am really you got a building no but i'm rebuilding i'm standing firm upon the word of god sure foundation what are y'all gonna do whatever the lord says to how you gonna do it however he lets us i've already learned one thing i tried it once it didn't work out i built what the lord told me to build and now it's gone i don't blame him for that i thank him for that now i know how will i do it again whatever the lord says you won't know why i believe that because you're here today for some odd reason you believe jesus christ is the same yesterday today and forever some of you are testimonies of the benefits and the blessings of knowing god therefore you're going to choose today every day like you choose you know what living for god is a good thing knowing the lord jesus christ is the right thing understanding his plan and his power in my life is what i need to do i'm not going to be afraid his love continues the church is alive and well regardless of what the enemy's trying to lie to you about we were not destroyed the lord god knew where we were he knew where we are right now i rise to this podium today and i wiped the dust off of some of the implements of worship and i decide within myself i've got two hands i've got a mouth i've got two feet i can worship the lord god he's been good to me i've got breath in my lungs i've got two good eyes and two good ears i can bless the lord he's been good to me i don't know what he's done in your life but i can see how good he's been to you some of you need to worship and love him now like you've never done it before you should have been dead in the grave down and out forgotten about but the mercies of god are working in your life you are a living testimony that god is good and together god is blessing one another he gave us the tools we need he gave us a voice isaiah 49 o zion that brings good tidings get thee up to the high mountain of jerusalem that bring us good tidings lift up thy voice with strength lift it up be not afraid say unto the cities of judah behold our god you got a voice you've got a voice turn to your neighbor and say you got a voice turn to your neighbor say i want to hear your voice come on say something say something to him come on come on say something to him you don't have to whisper to church come on tell them there you go come on god's been good tell somebody you got a voice talk about the goodness of the lord tell somebody what the lord's done in your life the elbow somebody say you know he's a mighty good god you know he's an old time god i've got a voice devil you can't silence my voice devil you can't hush me up i don't come too far i know too much about jesus i know too much about where you're headed devil but i know where i'm headed oh come on you can encourage yourself sometimes i gotta get up in the mirror and get up close to this boy and i gotta say you know what the goodness of the lord is upon your life you quit whining and complaining and you simply live for the lord it's the right thing to do i when i hear that i say you know you're right some of y'all think i'm crazy you talk to yourself too i just don't know what you're saying some of y'all are saying man you're good look how good you look i passed that a long time ago seth i already know now it's the goodness of the lord you know come on somebody the fat of the land i'm just just joking he gave you a voice tell somebody i got a voice you know what else he gave you he gave you your hands lift your hands behold bless you the lord all your servants of the lord which by night stand in the house of the lord lift up your hands in the sanctuary and bless the lord the lord that made heaven and earth bless thee had a zion come on lift your hands to him come on you can bless the lord with your hands lifted high you can bless the lord with your voice you can magnify him he gave you what you need so that together we can encourage one another oh i wish somebody would worship the lord like you mean it come on worship the lord like you mean it oh yeah come on bless the lord lift your hands in the sanctuary that's right come on he'd lift your hands in the sanctuary he's a good god to you he's a mighty good god to you he's an on-time god to you identify with that you've got your voice you've got your hands you've got your heart psalm 9 and 1 i will praise thee o lord with my whole heart i will shoot forth all my marvelous works i will be glad and rejoice in thee i will sing praise to thy name o thou most high i will praise thee with my whole heart we have so many ways to remind ourselves and to remind those around us about the goodness and the mercy of the lord god together we are stronger we can encourage one another in so many ways i realize that some of us face difficulties challenges and tasks all week long and we struggle with things and our mind gets off sideways and we wonder where those thoughts and all that evil stuff comes from and we're living smack dab in the middle of a world that's full of all kind of distractions and stuff i've come to tell somebody you have exactly what you need to be victorious we are strong do not allow listen to this pastor you do not allow the adversary to isolate you and to separate you from the church don't you listen to the lie of the enemy you are not better by yourself you need me i need you turn to your neighbor say i need you tell somebody i need you i'm going to step out here as pain with just a little bit y'all know pastor i'm not ashamed to blow a whole lot of things but i'm going to tell you right now you need one another there are some sitting in this place right now under the sound of my voice and somebody in this room has offended you or you feel like you don't understand them or they've said or done something you need to right now get out of your chair and cross this room walk across the room and go look them in the eye hug their neck and say i love you and i need you and i forgive you or i'm sorry for what i've done to you you need to do that now before you go any further come on you need one another some of you husbands and wives sitting in here you've offended one another you need to look and i need you i want you to know that together we are stronger you need to heal that relationship right now there are siblings sitting in this room you've been offended you need to know that the love of god will do things in your life but you've got to understand the power of togetherness come on you need to get out of your chair you do it right now ain't nobody watching you because they're dealing with it themselves you want to know why the miraculous doesn't happen in some of your lives is because of the pride that you've built up in there you're afraid somebody else is going to declare what you have done with the fear that you might respond with what they have done and the lord jesus said i knew all of that and i loved you and died for you anyway and i covered every one of those sins with my blood you need to get past that and decide that together we're going to go into heaven's gates and we're going to live forever shouting on the streets of glory because the lord god has allowed us to be changed together i only know of one or two very strange incidences that someone had received the power and the gift of the holy ghost evidence is speaking in tongues when they were by themselves now i know it happens i do it could be some of you sitting in here you were by yourself but by and large you received the wonderful gift of the holy ghost with somebody with you why is that because you're encouraging one another come on you are you have sinned you have messed up that's right but the blood of jesus has washed and cleansed you and you can be come on i've declared to y'all many times when i received the wonderful gift of the holy ghost a young man 11 years old i didn't know what i'd done wrong all i knew is that i felt something dragging and pulling and doing things inside of me that i didn't understand whatsoever and it was on a monday night or tuesday night finally a wednesday night at junior high camp when i was a young man i'm in the altar squall and squealing and snotting and everything that i could do to get god's attention and this old elder came over to me looked down in front of me and brother miller said hey son quit praying look at me yes sir he said you know what you're fighting for this quit fighting for it do you believe god can fill you with the holy ghost i said yes sir he said then you believe it and you receive it and it was at that moment in that word of instruction and that word of wisdom that i finally healed and it simply said lord i believe that i can receive the holy ghost it is at that moment when the holy ghost came and i began to speak in tongues as the spirit gave the utterance it was at that moment that that word of encouragement came to me that i realized you know what i needed that voice to help me get over the bump because i was trying by myself i've come to declare to somebody today that there is an anointing and there is a level that the lord god wants us to go to but it is when we gather together as the people of god it is when we come together and we gather in the presence of the lord that anything is possible you know that prayer that we pray every sunday we are gathered and out loud we are speaking that prayer of affirmation it is in that prayer that one another is encouraged that the word and the blessing of god begins to move in our life that's why i had them change the prayer to add what we need as a church body why because together when we gather in the presence of the lord things can happen jesus said it like this in matthew 18 and 18. verily i say unto you whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven whatsoever shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven again i say to you that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything they shall ask it shall be done for them of my father which is in heaven for where two or three are gathered together in my name there i am in the midst of them i've often wondered why why was the verbage like it is two or three he could have said two or two hundred he could have said a couple of you he could have said a multitude of you he could have said a handful of you if he's from the south he would have said it right smart of you know there's a whole lot of ways to say but specifically two or three are gathered together in my name i am convinced under the holy ghost power that i believe that when that statement was made two can agree on something but if there's a disagreement between the two the third will break the tie i might be wanting to do one thing and you might be wanting to do another thing there's one there's two we might have two different ideas there's one there's two what are we going to do which way we're going to go we're going left are we going right we're going to make this happen or not i believe that the lord god knew that about humanity they said well there's two what if you don't agree fine then let's make another two we need a third and when that third comes in bring the two sides i agree with this one now he only needs two now what's that third one gonna do that third one now has to decide do i agree with the other two or do i gotta go find somebody else to agree with me i choose to tell you today in this room there's a hundred different ideas and there's a hundred different ways and 100 different lives that you've come from but i simply want to agree i want to know today is there anybody in this room that will agree with me that we are having revival run fast you can get up here come on come on you'll agree with me as fast as you can come to this altar you come come on brother duran to the music would you come on now you believe that you're going to agree with me you're going to agree with me come on you're going to agree touching anything it'll be done touching anything come on you agree with me you agree with me how are we going to do it how are we going to get it done i don't know let's talk about it well let's bring in another one because all he needs is for two to connect themselves to the promise and if two will agree so it's what i'm going to ask you to do we are gathered today we gather in this room and we bring faith and we bring a word and we bring our worship and we bring our magnification under the king of glory i've come to tell you anything is possible in this room right now if we can simply agree if we can gather together and agree so this is what i need you to do wherever you are you walk around do what you got to do you find somebody that will agree with you with what god is telling you to do with what he's laying on your heart to accomplish tell somebody what god's doing and ask them will you agree with me further clarification some of you need a miracle in your mind and in your home get hold of somebody say will you agree with me that the miraculous will happen in my mind today some of you have lost loved ones that need the holy ghost you get a hold of will you agree with me that the lord god will fill them with his spirit come on some of you your marriages are on the rocks you need to know that the hand of the lord can help come on would you grab a ho come on my home needs prayer come on get out get it get away from the space you are go find somebody you can bind together with go find somebody you can connect your spirit with i believe you're for it lord come on that's right go past the emotion you you agree come on find somebody to agree with you don't stand there by yourself you go gather with somebody come on i need you to agree with me god is going to save my family god is going to heal my body god is going to make a way god is going to open doors come on you simply need to agree with somebody gather with them yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah oh come on that's right ask them come on can i bind together with you about something is there something i could pray with you over is there something that i can believe the lord for get it oh come on we're stronger together you've got your hands your heart you've got your mind come on you got your testimony now find somebody else oh that's right come on go find someone
