God our Father

would you pray with me church lord we are thankful for our time together today in the sanctuary today lord we have gathered and we have prayed we have entered in with thankfulness we have entered in with praise today and today lord we are glad that you are here i pray god that your anointing right now would rest upon this house in the preached word lord one more time i make myself available to you let the word of god do its job today it's spoken word it's a settled word it's an encouraging word today god we look to you we honor you lord and we call upon your name for there is no other name jesus jesus before you sit down would you give him praise high praise everybody lift your voice exalt him in this sanctuary lord we call upon you yes jesus hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah thank you singers musicians thank you all of our staff to everybody that helps to our teachers our donut setter outers our water center uppers and taker downers our safety folk in the parking lot everybody that has a part of the ministry of cornerstone i want you to know i love you and i'm glad that you're here if you don't yet have a place to plug in we've got just what you're looking for a lot of incredible anybody know that god is your joy anybody know that god is kind have you come today to understand god is love anybody know that god is magnificent oh you know him as a nail in a sure place anybody know that he's omniscient anybody know that he's perfect anybody know that god is quick you know god is a refiner you know god simply is super you know god is timely you know god is unique do you know god is victory do you know god is wise do you know god is the unknown quality in our lives do you know god is a yoke fella do you know god is zealous a to z god is and a whole lot more all of the ways that you could want to describe god it is easy to connect with him according to his word how many are thankful for the word today come on the word of god that you hold in your hand that bible that you memorize scripture out of the one that you go to when you're trying to find the justification scripture you know the one about beat your kids with a rod and all that stuff come on it's the word of god there's such an amazing presence of god every day in our lives no matter how much or no matter how little that you know about god the fact is is he is constantly and consistently revealing himself to humanity come on when i got out of bed this morning he was the god of yesterday but then i found him to be the god of today i got every chance of knowing he'll be the god tomorrow if he healed my body then he can heal me right now and he can heal me tomorrow come on is god constant in your life you better know that he knows where you are today his power his perfectness is always on time and never out of time you can breathe his name right now he'll show up when you get in your work circumstance breathe his name he'll show up and when you don't call on him he's still around you simply waiting on you i'm talking about god today oh when you consider our heavenly father it's father's day today i'm going somewhere with this one when you consider that he is perfect in every way all of us god has become our heavenly father and he is very personal he has affected every one of us in different ways needless to say his ways are much higher than our ways but yet he lets us come his way into his way come on we remain steadfast in our approach to him when we rise in the morning we call on the heavenly father when we bless our food we call on the heavenly father when we don't know what else to do we call on the heavenly father and any one of those 26 that i brought to you a moment ago you can add thousands to it you can call on him and he is our heavenly father the coolest thing about knowing him as your heavenly father first john said it this way 4 19. we love him because he first loved us i wish somebody would say that verse with me we love him because he first loved us he loved us when we were unlovable wow what a savior he loved us before we ever became mama what a savior he loved us in our worst of times and in our best of times what a savior we serve i'm glad today that we can love him because he first loved us he is god our father we can settle on the fact that though we struggle with the exact words to try to describe him we love him there are some things that i have a hard time friend putting into words but he is god our father he is god our father for some of you that might be a challenge i wish i would hang on to pastor for a moment some of you your relationship with your heavenly father has nothing at all to do with your relationship of your earthly father some would argue that god the heavenly father is anything and everything different from your earthly father and you're thankful for it because some of you have a witness in a testimony your earthly father maybe had hurt you maybe he affected you in a bad way maybe he abused you maybe he spoke challenging to you and very harsh to you you might have seen his hand come against you there are multiple things that you might describe about your earthly father and because of that to get to know your heavenly father has been a great challenge and you've wondered how can i get past when somebody says father loves you i don't really understand it because of what i went through on earth but if you'll take the step of faith that says if my god can stand on the precipice of time when there was nothing but chaos confusion and darkness and if he can open his verbal mouth and speak let there be into existence and everything around us can come into its shape and form then i choose to believe although an earthly father can affect me negatively there is a heavenly father that i can draw near to and he'll wrap his arms around me he'll not abuse me he'll not speak harshly to me but he'll wrap me up in his arms and he'll love me it could be on this father's day that your earthly father has done some damage to you the fact if you will allow me for just a moment to be pastor is that we all have a story to tell we all have a story today i stand here today to turn your focus from the aspect of fatherhood that needs no justification but the aspect of a godly godly father that comes to you and understands you the fact is he loves you in spite of you as bad as you want to make a situation the love of god still can reach to you if you make your bed in a hell he can still be there for you if you establish your bed on a mountain high he can still get to you doesn't matter if you're up under a bridge or in a palace somewhere the love of god can come to you that heavenly father his plan his purpose will supersede all of the terrible imaginations of humanity to all of our fathers that are in this room today please listen to the preacher for just a moment i'm reaching to you with all the love that i can in this hour i know that you are men therefore you are well capable of making mistakes of falling and faltering don't look at anybody around you you already know who i'm talking to you have the capability of making bad choices and we have folk to the left and to the right of us that may remind us of that often but all of you have good and bad within you y'all hear me today some of you your relationship is different with those around you some of you men are very closed and you don't open yourself up very easily some of you men are opened up and you let anybody know everything that's on your mind plus what's on their mind even if it's not on their mind but i've come today to declare to you men listen to me fathers it doesn't matter where you're from what you've come through what you've been through where you're headed or what's going on today in your life god our father is able to make things correct and right and better in your life he can heal you yes he can he can bind you up and heal you yes he will he can give you strength when you hurt hear me fathers i've come today to declare what the psalmist declared in psalm 147 and 1 praise ye the lord for it is good to sing praises unto our god it is pleasant and praise is comely hear this the lord doth build up jerusalem he gathereth together the outcast of israel he healeth the broken and heart and bindeth up their wounds god our father knows all of the things that you've messed up with and he loves you he has the ability men to bind you up and to heal you although with humanity we recognize your faults and your failures and your inability to complete or your your incapability of finishing something god still says i love you and my plan still works for you i will declare to you there is no such thing as a perfect earthly father do not ask my kids my faults they will tell you both of them i mean not both of my faults but both of my kids yeah i had to help you all under understand that right the coolest thing about our god men listen carefully to pastor please men god is our father but he can help you be a godly father god our father can help you be a godly father kids i want you to listen to pastor for a minute you better pray for your fathers i don't care how young or how old you are children you better pray for your father god give my father strength today god honor my father today god help him on his job today come on i rebuke the spirit of this culture in this society that would try to diminish the value of fathers i rebuke it in jesus name wives you listen to this preacher right now you better respect your husband in front of your children if not i rebuke you and i cast you out you're lying you're going to destroy those kids you're going to destroy the next generation wives if you're belittling your husband in front of them behind their back or whatever you are doing nobody any favors and i'm standing on the holy ghost today you're wrong and you're going to split hell wide open i don't care how much you think you can justify what you're saying you listen to me there has to be honor and respect in a marriage and if there's not you hear me you sit across my desk and you try to justify and qualify something you've said or done it is it any wonder that the devil's on your trail because he knows exactly how to get under your skin i will stand firm upon that i don't care what psychologist psychiatrist or what book out there says you need to understand the word of god kids you pray for your father wives you respect your children's father men listen to me you honor one another you honor one another men we need each other in this present world i said it just a few moments ago everybody who's everyone who can now is all hands on deck we do not have time for somebody to sit by the wayside cross your arms and hope things come together this is the hour of war the devil is very listen to me the devil is very interested in your soul he cares less about the value of your soul he simply wants to stop you from the value of your soul therefore hell is in a building program read it in the word of god heaven's gates they're widening themselves i mean it's a broad path that you can take and every day things are happening but straight and narrow is that way that leads to the lord god i've come to tell this world and serve notice on the the devils of chattanooga that there is a church of men that stand in the gap and pray and believe that the power of the holy ghost can supersede and overcome anything negative that this world throws at you you listen to me if you've let hollywood get in your house and destroy your image of a husband you better turn it off and throw it away if you're allowing what the world says about men you better understand something your children are going to pay a cost that is going to cost them dearly in the future i declare to every man in this place you ought to stand firm in your living room or your house in the kitchen in the garage wherever it is lift your holy hands unto the lord and declare thus says the whole council of god as for me and my house we will serve the lord we will stand at that guilt the gates of hell and we'll reach into the smoke and the fire and we'll pull out our children there's too many kids going to hell today because dad won't be dead hear me if you'll reach into hell's fire you can stomp the gates of hell and if you wonder if you can get out you can look to the one who holds the key to it and declare god is on my side this is not the day to become flimsy it is not the hour to let hollywood decide who you are but men you need to pray in the face of the enemy devil get me behind me i have no place for you in my home my values and my principles they are founded upon the word of god the things that i do they are fundamental to the word of god there has been more than one occasion that i would have to look my children in their eyes and tell them i love you i believe in you but you're not going to do that in this home and them look at me with all of their indignation of however old they were at that time and i don't mind telling you daddy ain't afraid no ghost i'd look them right in here i say it again say it again y'all gonna get mad at me in a minute i know you are i know you're gonna get frustrated pastor in a minute but when they were at that age of accountability where they didn't know what they were just about to be held accountable for and they opened their mouth and commenced to dispense what they thought how life was supposed to be i was dead and i don't mind telling you more than one occasion i caught their tongue boom say it again you just smack me on the tongue you know why because it was your tongue that spoke you don't want me to hit where i'm feeding it next pastor that ain't nice that ain't kind you better believe it because every devil in hell stood there and looked at me oh my he's not going to let that in his house you better believe it and that praying wife right there sitting there praying and pleading the blood of jesus you better know that there were angels in heaven that were standing there saying i just wish you would i wish you'd let me go loose i'll come down there and stomp every one of them in the ground and that god of glory would step back say you don't have to they are my children they are making sacrifice for their children they are standing in the gap for their babies therefore you hear me i'm not giving you a license i tell you this all the time to beat your children black and blue no i'm not i'm simply telling you what our children are looking for it's a heavenly father to be manifested on earth and that will come when a dead stand in the gap you ain't coming in this house over my dead body and you ain't got a weapon that you can bring that'll kill me i'll die when the good lord says i'll die therefore the enemy wraps his hands up he don't know what to do with that he simply has to back away why there is glory there is anointing upon a man of god who will stand up and simply say as for me we're going to serve god you have every right fathers you have every right now daddy honey you need to be and you need to say and you need ah now that's that argument at my house that there's going to be a winner and it's not going to be anybody but me tim now i may have to have a big old heavy discussion after and i may need to come in jesus meeting and i may need to bring him with me to justify everything i just said or did but my wife she looked at me and she said baby you think i was being hard i said honey i would much rather face him here than to have to go down to a jail cell and bail him out you want to know why because god gave me that responsibility and if i've got a blackest eye you better believe that's what i want to do now i never had to somebody say amen there were times i thought my wife was going to but you know what she was going to hide that baby back up back up don't get out there like that you won't hurt you let me do this listen what pastor's saying to you i'm talking on father's day men you be godly men you understand that if you have a god in heaven he can be god in you i want to invite every man in this house especially you fathers my wife did this earlier and she prayed for you i want you men to come back to this carpet will you come on men stand up come to this altar i'm inviting you i'm inviting you to come every man in this house would you come this altar is what i call the carpet it's because it wraps three sides around this podium or this platform come on men come in close come on in fathers come on in i want you to listen to pastor for me i want you to look at me if you can please look at me right now i want you to know something i love you i love you something else i want you to know is i believe in you i believe in you you hear me i believe in you something else i want these men to know in front of their spouses in front of their friends in front of their family i honor you and i need you now listen to me carefully please as a church family we need you quickly sam you're the mathematician count how many men are standing up here would you please help him out seth use your toes come moms children kids i want you to understand something what's about to happen in this room the lord god's going to anoint these men like he never has before because men in this hour the lord god's calling you and drawing you you want to know why there's such a war raging in your home is because the spirit of god is reaching for you and the enemy does not like it you want to know why when you come to the house of the lord sometimes it's a chore because it's the battle of just trying to get here with your sanity in place you want to know what there's something happening in the spirit world men we're going to pray right now ladies children would you stand back there please these men are going to pray and i want you to notice what's going to happen in this room there's not pixie dust i don't have a spell i don't throw out magic i got none of that what i have is the power and the word of god and when men go to war listen to me when men go to war there is an anointing and an unction that rests upon men who will unite themselves in war come on you can go back to any generation previous when the men came together and they went out on a battlefield united there wasn't nobody out there that could defeat it come on you can call them 300 guys going up against hundreds of thousands you can call them for whatever culture whatever country you want to but when men bound together fathers i'm reaching for you right now and they begin to bind together in worship and adoration under the one that is leading us there is an anointing and a yoke that is broken and there is a glory that begins to rest upon the body of christ men this is what i want you to do right now would you lift you come on there's no music we don't need it lift your voice right now and as loud as you can you begin to magnify the name of jesus you begin to exalt the name of jesus come on lift up the name of jesus come on ben come on men be leaders in worship right now good god we need you today holy god we call upon you right now it's father's day at cornerstone and we are binded together jesus we are believing you lord for great things come on men come on man lift your voice i go to war devil take your hands off my family get your hands off the church we are victorious that's right come on go to war men lift your voice triumphant voice unto the lord god oh come on me and bind your prayer together with the one standing next to you we are fighting for one another's families we are fighting for one another's families we are fighting for the family of god oh come on don't stop now man press into the war zone press into the battlefield i come to take back my family i've come to take back my pride i've come to take back what i believe i've come to take back the glory of god and to give it to the feet of god in worship and adoration come on men jesus i love you jesus i bless you jesus i worship you i am not destroyed i am not distressed i am not defeated that's right man that's right come on be a worshiper right now in the name of jesus now get up close to somebody close to you right now and let's link our arms one with another as men come on grab each other lift him up in the name of jesus that's right come on in the name of jesus great god bind us together jesus we go to war together we stand in the gap together jesus we come to worship jesus come on men take it serious lord i've come today hungry for you it's father's day and i believe that god my father can be and be what i need in this hour i can become a godly father oh come on that's right pray pray come on unite in prayer connect in prayer connect one with another in prayer jesus jesus we storm the gates of hell right now in the name of jesus let our backslidden children come home oh god we are reaching today for backslidden men lord that once knew you but they walked away from you god bring them back into the fold let them understand the hour in which we live that's right men come on men come on men come on men the name of jesus glorify glorify glorify the name i glorify the name i magnify the name that's right come on that's right come on where's the prayer warriors right now prayer warriors jesus jesus our faith says yes today our joy reaches to you today jesus god our father he's making us godly fathers oh that's right that's right that's right in the name of jesus there's power in the name of jesus i bless your name lord i worship your name this is the day the lord has made we rejoice in it we're glad in it jesus so somebody's still upstairs at the machine jess i need matthew chapter 7 verse 7. y'all read this with me listen to this listen what the bible says this is new testament stuff ask shall be given you seek you shall find knock shall be opened to you verse 8 for everyone that seek asketh receiveth he that seeketh findeth to him that knocketh it shall be opened what man listen to this or what man is there of you whom if his son asked bread will you give him a stone or ask a fish would he give him a serpent if he then being evil know how to give good gifts to your children how much more shall your father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him it's a question but verse 12 says this therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you do ye even sow to them for this is the law and the prophets men when you ask when you seek when you knock when you go after you do it in the name of the lord god come on we understand a father's principle is this if god gives if if things are available if your son asks you for something you don't turn around and try to hurt or harm them you do the best you can is that right how much more then the god of glory that loves you and loves your family how much more men when you ask him for grace and mercy when you ask him for forgiveness and love when you ask him for wisdom or words of knowledge for your family when you ask the lord god to make opportunity for you to connect with your children that the lord god would say that's exactly what i need you to pray for come on man i understand fully and capably that even though i am not with my children every day my prayers go with them every day i don't know what they're gonna face but god is with them when they face it i don't know where my wife's gonna go she goes to work and i pray to god she's protected and god bless her mind and her body and soul but i don't know tim when she walks out the door all i know is god i have pledged your blood over her this church family when i pray for you when my wife prays for you we don't know what things decisions choices problems situations you're going through but i know this the god of glory can do great and wonderful things in you i have with my own eyes seen many of you men standing here i have seen the healing power of god touch your life you cannot deny it you know beyond the shadow of a doubt that god did it i have watched the hand of god deliver some of you i have watched the spirit of god work in some of your lives and deliver you from drugs and alcohol and lifestyle that you should not have i have watched as god worked in you some of you men standing here you listen to this people you listen to this some of you me and many of you men standing here you're working jobs that you do not deserve you don't have the education you don't have the level nor the skill but by the grace of god and your fear of god he is opening doors because somebody prayed you in the position me and you want your children to be successful fine if they want to go to college whatever you say yeah okay that's fine but more than any of that you better make sure they're going to split heaven wide open when the trumpet sounds it would be a shame for you to allow your children to go to a devil's hell because you wouldn't pray the prayer i always always always taught my children daddy don't care what you do in life as long as god's in front of you behind you and beside you i won't have to worry if you try to do it on your own i already can tell you before you get there what mess you're going to be in and you know what i watched my kids fail falter and flop around on the ground but i knew the power of god and as prayer ascended the hand of the lord came listen to me and i'm done it wasn't just my prayers nor my wife's prayers but it was their grandparents it was their great grandparents some of y'all are third and fourth generation of receiving prayers from from people that have prayed for you you better know men that you need to pass that along to your children man you better be praying for your grandchildren and your great-grandchildren right now even if they're not here you need to be praying for them come on it's not just going to happen it's going to be men on a father's day that make a decision if god knows how to do these things for us then what can we do for our children i want to invite the whole church come on it's ten minutes after one everybody can come to this carpet there's room come on we're gonna pray as a church family before we leave on this father's day come on if your father is up here or your husband i want you to come snuggle up next to him if they'll let you come on no smacking in church come on that's right i'm going to let y'all in on a secret this lady i'm holding hands with is my wife and she needs me she needs my prayer covering every day and i tell her as often as i can i prayed for you today sweetie my kids i send them texts as often as i can i want you to know that daddy covered you in prayer today i'm not lifting myself up i'm not patting myself i'm telling you i want i want the enemy to know what kind of text messages they're getting uh oh oh oh oh daddy prayed oh their dad prayed oh i don't know if i'm gonna get him today uh-oh you say i'm saying come on y'all know the roaring line that's trying to see who he can devour he's gonna devour those not covered in prayer i want y'all to pray right now one for another jesus we thank you for the power of prayer come on pray right now everybody in this house jesus i thank you for the family i thank you lord for my wife for my children oh god i am thankful that i am lord a father today that you've given me the responsibility for my children for my wife today lord as her husband i thank you for that god and i don't take it lightly but i believe lord god that the victory comes from you in the name of jesus i plead your blood over cornerstone apostolic church over every family every home lord every life that's represented in this room to those god that are new to you i pray you would reveal yourself as a great good godly father lord that's leading and guiding to those that have known you lord for a long time i pray you would one more time jesus let them know the truth of the word of god that we are better together working as a family there is victory in the name of jesus there is joy in the name of jesus come on men pray for your families right now come on bind the devil right now devil get your hand off of them we are children of the most high we are blessed we have the anointing of the lord upon our lives in the name of jesus there is victory come on pray for them god protect them as they go about their business as they work as they go to school god whatever they're doing let the angels of the lord camp round about them build a hedge about them oh god you can raise them up lord in this generation they can become a culture of worshipers a culture lord of believers of bible believers god that will run to the word of god that will run to the established and settled word of god oh come on that's right pray there is power in the presence of the lord that's right there is glory there is glory in the presence of the lord oh good god good god good god now more than ever before church this world needs you to be the church your friends your coworkers your family member those you interact with every day they're they're dying looking for the answer it is jesus it is in you it is what your your spirit says as you're walking about doing the things of god thank you men to you fathers that are here today i love you i love you find your purpose in the family and the kingdom let the joy of the lord be strength to you let the peace of almighty god flood your soul daily come on spend time with jesus every day i didn't ask you to pray 20 hours a day i'm simply saying spend time with the lord be quiet let god speak to you call your children's names out i pray every day for my grandchildren i don't even they're not even here no they're not even here but before before my children were born i prayed for them god bless their spouse whoever it is and don't let them be knuckleheads and god bless our grandbabies and our great-grandbabies lord this this is so powerful god for you to do that i'll remind this church from i gotta always use my daughter and she's so kind to let me do this embarrass her but but when when this old fella came and asked me to marry her very first thing i said to him is you better love her more than i love her but you better love god more than you love her that is the only way it's going to work and i told him you be unkind to her i don't care if you are two feet taller than me you know what i'm saying y'all figure this out come on y'all figure this out as you get older come on talk about your young ones you wait till they're old enough for that ugly thing listen to me carefully come on we need each other god is blessing god and there's too much at stake here how wrong would it be for me to stand in this hour and throw everything away that my great great grandparents fought for my grandparents my parents who would i be to say yeah it don't matter no we're talking heaven some of you this is first generation you fall in love with jesus you jump in as deep as you can go and you cover yourself in the love of god and watch him do a work in your life i love you all happy father's day let's pray one for another as we leave lord thank you for our time together today thank you jesus for the spirit of god that's working even right now and families and the men of our church keep us this week lord monday night we'll have prayer wednesday night we'll come back here for bible study god you know lord what's going on this next weekend i plead your blood over the church open doors dear god make a way jesus let there be god unction and anointing upon the family we'll love you for it we'll believe you for it and we'll trust you in jesus name we go in faith
