Lord I Thank you I pray today God that you would continue moving in our lives thank you Lord we have prayed today God we have sung songs unto you We Gather now Lord to your word and we hunger for you to speak into our lives let the spirit expressly speak today I am one more time Lord I make myself available to you Jesus help us today great God let us draw near to you in this hour Lord hallelujah hallelujah feel this in the Holy Ghost grab a hand close to you let's pray right now Lord speak into this room right now come on lift a hand to Heaven Jesus Jesus come on pray one for another Jesus thankful for that I welcome you into the church house today worshipers true worshipers will do that in spirit and truth because that's what he's searching for he looks for that amen so that's what we do I honor all of you today for coming to the house of the Lord answers come when you're in the presence of God Direction comes into the presence of God the voice of God speaks in his presence to all those that are part of the church I thank you all of our workers our singers musicians they do a great job every week don't they aren't we thankful that we have talented anointed people yeah Sunday school teachers are parking lot of to everybody that's a part of CAC I'm so glad that you're here again to Our Guest we welcome you we're so honored you've come today amen you can be seated if you feel like you have to come together here and I welcome all of you into the presence of the Lord and to the presence of mostly good people I know today that there are some great testimonies sitting in this room I mean really great testimonies is there somebody here today that could simply testify that God's been good to you anybody at all you can identify with that did he show up on your job this week uh should he have come two or three days instead of just one I'm asking I don't know come on did he make a door open wide to you this week that you had no idea was come on somebody identify God is on the throne today yeah did he give you opportunities that you you thought everything was lost in Jeopardy but the hand of the Lord moved and now look at you you are a recipient of the goodness of God can you wave a hand somebody God is God in my life and I'm thankful for that Old-Timers anybody old-timer ain't got any old folk in his room today got Old-Timers going on at least old in spirit right this is what they used to say help me Tim when I think of the goodness of Jesus you may know that one and all he has done for me my I feel like a whole time you know the choir praise God for saving you'll sing it again oh when I think of the goodness of Jesus teach somebody and all he has done for me my soul Cries Out praise God for saving me now how do you all know that song how do you know that song you probably heard some of these young folks up here I don't even know when you think about the way that God has come through for you God has been God for you it should cause you to pause and respond to him so when he come together in the house of the Lord and you begin to share the the miraculous the great interaction that God has had with you come on we used to call it testimony service we're going to have a testimony service today that's what they used to say I don't say that some of y'all was scared huh brother rob you remember that yeah okay yeah testimony Service uh us kids man we used to love that when I was growing up anybody remember that good old days that's their old days yeah oh we just knew when sister so and so would stand it was fitting to get good yeah we knew we were doing that foot go and here it is the church is broke down now testimony service you know I always kids used to always talk about wait wait watch what he said devil been on my back all week long bless His holy name like don't go with that guy anywhere come on we used to talk about the goodness of the lord we used to share the story man this week it was something else but the Lord showed up began to move in my life now I realized that there are days there are moments in our lives that can be very challenging I know that sometimes the uncertainties of Life can challenge and even test your faith and your resolve do I still believe that do I still honor do I still trust in the ways of God when you just begin to see maybe in your life light at the end of the tunnel a bus pulls in the way and blocks The View I don't know maybe that's only happened to me when you're when you're just about to see through the fog of questions in a smoke cloud blows over and clouds up your life anybody understand where I'm coming from but I am compelled today to stand here and to bring the fact and the reality that daily life sometimes brings us into closer examination of who we are and what we really believe listen to me there's always something negative to look at in your life don't look left or right you'll be judged there's always something about the bad people in your life and the choices they're making I believe every one of us notice that there are darkness and there are shadows in our lives that didn't come from us they're simply put there now listen to me I I got you I want you to understand today that if you're looking into a crowd and you're trying to please everybody your challenge is going to be monstrous please understand as well hear me it ain't always everybody else's fault right now I want for you to take a moment I want you to consider the goodness of your God come on consider in the midst of your mess God came through and showed up to be God in your life come on there anybody that would relax a moment in the power of the Holy Ghost and simply recognize without you God I'm nothing but all with you god Anything is Possible come on I'm a testimony of the healing miraculous power of God almighty come on I know what God can do to bring me up out of the mire I know what God can do to pull me out of a lifestyle I know how God can speak into my situation and breathe life into me come on I don't need you to agree with me I just want you to know where I'm coming from God's been good to me God's been good to me and when I think of the goodness of Jesus I gotta shout hallelujah come on we'll call it the Sabbath day I gotta remember the goodness of God and look back and say Look What the Lord Has Done For Me has God been good to you giving praise it's all right is there a second time that you want to lift him up go ahead take a moment and thank him for his goodness come on our God is faithful our God is a faithful God Jeremiah wrote it this way sit down y'all are eating up my time Jeremiah 3 19 remembering mine Affliction and my misery the wormwood and the God my soul hath them still in remembrance and is humbled in me this I recall to my mind therefore have I hope it is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed because his compassions fail not they are new every morning saying with me Church Great Is Thy Faithfulness Jeremiah knew life can be hard the challenges can be difficult but the mercies of God won't fail the blessings of God Remain the anointing of the Lord shall rests the unction of God still moves Great Is Thy Faithfulness oh God is God faithful to you huh I'm encumbered about today with the thought and the principles of Who We Are God is good to every one of us I could today share with you some of y'all's mess-ups Hurts Habits and the junk that you've been going through because many of you have shared that with me as pastor but I'm not going to y'all rest easy but what I will say I can look you dead in the eye and I can tell you God's been good to you and he's worthy of Praise You should have been done dead in the ground wrapped up and Tangled Up but instead you're in your right mind loving the Lord saying God you're good God your mercy is in my life great is your faithfulness come on they are new every day they are new every day allow me to take a moment to pull us to another time in another place would you give me a moment today Moses hmm he's the man of the hour in God's plan it was Moses who is literally standing between the people of Israel and God himself Moses is the intercessor at this point come on Moses is the middle man everybody say the middle man come on it is God who chose Moses to be the go-between so that God himself could fulfill his plan with the people of the Covenant according to the story we read in detail we find in the second book of Moses it's called The Exodus God give me a moment a minute here God was in the business always of sticking to his plan he's not only faithful to you but he's faithful to his plan every detail established every way that they would take every need he would Supply every Avenue he would mark it was the children of Israel come on they are leaving Egypt by God's Design By God's plan they saw with their own eyes with their children gathered around them they saw that it was only God that could deliver them from Pharaoh come on it was only a god of Glory that could come in there is no other way to explain it God showed himself to be their God it was the hand of God that put every single plague in place every single piece of the puzzle in place it was the hand of God now you and I today we have the convenience of of Google we have the convenience of logos Bible or the King James or whatever flavor you might try to read we have that story in our memory but to those on that day in that Journey they didn't have that brother Vandy they were simply saying I'm picking up my foot I don't know where to put it next but if God gave me this step God's gonna give me that step and if God gave me this step God's gonna allow me this stuff what happens if I mess up I don't know how to mess up but why because all I know is God is leaving me God is showing me the way in our vernacular 2023 we realize we're well able to mess up but in their days wherever they went God showed up and was with them him he was a pillar in the day come on he led them he guided them by fire and by smoke wherever they were God's there God showed up he knew where the Mana needed to fall he knew where the quail needed to fall he knew where the water needed to come from The Rock God was not slack he simply said walk and believe in me come on you gotta trust the pet the fact that God is in control every step was a step of faith and trust Trust t r u five challenging letters bound together by what huh Trust how many letters are there some of y'all didn't know did you I was trying to help bring you home because our hardest obstacle in our culture and our situation Our Lives is trusting God come on Lord if I don't see it I can't believe it and the Lord says always I want you to believe it before I show it to you some of us have prayed prayers asking God to move and provide things that we don't mean and when we pray for it and ask we trust and God says no Then we get disgruntled and we back up and say but God I thought you wanted me to have everything I wanted to be never said that he couldn't trust you with it anyhow come on the ten dollar bill that you're not paying tithe and offering on why would he give you a 20. why would he give you 26 hours in a day when you can't handle the 24 that he's all right I'm just saying lie God knows the key to the miraculous friend is Trust the children of Israel demonstrated that so when we look at the second book of Moses we go there's there's Genesis and then there's come on Bible people there you go that's the second book of Moses he wrote this we notice that they're there's something going on with the people of God that God has a conversation with his man Moses in Exodus 33 I want to draw our attention if I can for a moment here I'll watch the clock you just worshipazam verse number one of Exodus 33 the Lord said unto Moses this is God talking to Moses depart go up hints thou and the people which thou has brought up out of the land of Egypt unto the land which I swear into Abraham to Isaac and Jacob saying unto thy seed will I give it and I will send verse 2 says an angel before thee and I will drive out the Canaanites the Amorite the hittite the parasite the himite and the jebusite under the land hear it flowing with milk and honey for I will not go up in the midst of thee what did he say for thou art a stiff-necked people lest I consume thee in the way I am not worried about your enemy the hittite I'm not worried about the pairs I'm not worried about those guys I will be the one that will consume you as you travel you go listen but I will not be with you he called them stiff neck now when's the last time come on look at your neighbor and say you're just a stiff neck oh come on you probably hear it all the time right Thou Art stiff necks is this a common for now you know I think you're stiff neck too tomorrow when you drive through the drive-through hello stiff neck see what happens that's just an interesting word does anyone know what it means bass based bottom line it means you're stubborn it means you're haughty not naughty but haughty you think more of yourself than you ought to think come on some of y'all need to be looking at me right now don't look left or right you'll be in so much trouble come on just pray Lord let them be saved that's all you're going to say Lord let her be saved come on it's all you gotta do you are haughty and you are stubborn you are not able to trust my plan but instead you complain and you murmur and you bellyache about what you do not trust that is not a good place to be but that's exactly where the people the multitude of God's people were want to explain something to you today Moses was in the presence of God and he knew that his word was greater than anything any attitude or any action that the people could do so when Moses stood there that day and God spoke to him and said get up and go but I won't go with you because I might simply consume you you are stubborn and you are haughty and you are in your mind declaring yourself more than you are but Moses is standing there if you will continue a mere few verses further you will find out that the Bible said Exodus 33 and 15. he said unto him If thy presence go not with me carry us up not hints verse 16 for wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found Grace in thy sight is it not in that thou go is with us so shall we be separated I thy people from all the people that are upon the face of the Earth verse 17 the Lord said unto Moses I will do this thing also that thou Hast spoken lyric for thou has found Grace in my sight and I Know Thee by name and he said I beseech thee Moses talking to God show me thy Glory I want to see your glory Moses knew that God was the one who would Proclaim what he would do and Moses would have to wrap his mind his understanding around what God had said God knew that Moses would stand there and he would declare that he was too a part of the promise that God had made in his Covenant so God told him Moses that he would go with them and he would know that they were his people and that he was their God and God would work on their behalf but something had to happen Moses knew at this point if I can just simply see your glory then I as a man will be able to stand up in the presence of your people and I will be able to declare that God is right and you are not hold on to the promise of God and move forward forward but notice what God Said when Moses asked to see the glory of God chapter 33 verse 19 and he said I will make oh my goodness pass before Thee I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious and will show Mercy on whom I will show mercy and he said in verse 20 thou canst not see my face for there shall no man see it see me and live and the Lord said behold there is a place by me and thou shalt stand upon a rock and it shall come to pass while my glory passes by that I will put thee in a cliff on the Rock and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by and I will take away my hand listen to this and thou shalt see my back Parts but my face shall not be seen I've come today to tell you that when Moses asked God can I see your glory notice how God responded he said I will make my my goodness to move in front of you can I connect the dots for somebody today if you want to see God's glory remember his goodness if you want to see how glorious God is remember the goodness of God he picks you up when nobody would touch you he opened doors where there was no door he put you in your right mind and declares you one of his listen to me he allowed you to bow at him Altar and repent of your sins he heard your prayer he came in and he forgave your sin he allowed you to go down in the waters of baptism in his name and he remitted the sin and he filled you with his wonderful spirit you want to see God's glory remember his goodness remember his goodness remember his goodness when I think of the goodness of Jesus his glory his glory shines when you remember his goodness we got in the midst of our sweet congregation today yeah I could say that a handful of grumblers now I didn't put no finger I'll put in my pocket I ain't putting no I'm just tell you this in a group of 100 folk or so God could come down himself walk in shoe leather smack you upside the face with a cloud and cause rain to come out your nose and you stand and go what happened so I can't believe that messed up my clothes huh some of us have removed our vision from the mercy of God every single day and the grace of God and his goodness daily and we keep looking way far Yonder as the old folk used to say and we wonder how come I'm troubled how come I'm weary why am I fighting this fight and the Lord saying to you every single day my grace is with you my faithfulness doesn't back off from you I am with you when you don't understand and I'm with you when you think you understand I know where you were when you were born I knew what the doctor was going to say when you came out I knew how Mom and Dad were going to feel I was so y'all got to hear to preach today I was there when they pushed you to the ground I was there when they said bad things about you come on hear me I was there when they declined to even call you one of theirs I was there when they denied you Joy I was there when they pulled out a belt and hit you with it I was there when the drug dealer was selling you the drug I was there when your life was falling apart don't you think for one moment I haven't watched your step in your every move why because everywhere I am you're coming into my presence and my hand is on your life what you've got to declare today God I want to see your glory you're not going to see me until you see my goodness you better declare it is by the hand of God it is by the mercy of God that his goodness is working in my life oh come on somebody quit looking at all the negative and all the junk and all the stuff the enemies trying to throw in your way get in the presence of God and simply thank him for his goodness how much time a guy y'all sit down a minute you can't see me Moses and live well what I'll show you is where I've been oh brother Lorenzo don't get me started ah look right here Moses I've already been there look right there Moses I'm there I was there and come right through it you thought I'd left you when that baby was in the hospital I didn't leave you you thought you messed up so bad strung out on your drugs and I'd run away from you that ain't what I did I was standing looking at you you thought when you cracked open that bottle and you started drowning your sorrow that somehow some way you had run away from God God said I was there when that bottle was bought I know the money where it came from don't you think for a moment come on somebody get off the throne you're not the judge let God be the judge look at the goodness of God look at the goodness of the Lord God's been better to you than you've been to yourself some of you don't deserve to be here but the goodness of the Lord said I see you where you are and I pull you close to me and if you'll ever get up next to God only thing you'll be able to see is where God was and once you know where he was you can see where he's going I believe in The Old Rugged Cross I still believe in the power of the blood of Jesus Christ I still trust the plan of God every day for my life I wish he'd stand to your feet right now brother Duron come help me come today to remind somebody of the goodness of God the goodness of God shows you his glory thank you as you stand today what was Moses really asking for Lords show me your face God I want to see you what was Moses really asking for did couldn't he already declare God brought us out of all the bondage of Egypt and couldn't he already declare that all of the plagues God kept us through couldn't he already establish God delivered us when everything should have stopped and died in its tracks could not Moses already declare firstborns died in every house but our house is truly God took care of us why would Moses want to see the face of God here's the cool thing about God he always has a plan for us because if Moses indeed would have been able to see the face of God like no other man see the face of God what do you think he would have told people what are you hoping you can share with someone when you ask God lord I just want to see you I can tell you what Moses would have seen it was the same thing that he saw as God went by him and he saw his back parts you see God's image is around us God's image is here today the cool thing about that is you cannot say the skin of God is this color of this you cannot say the voice of God is this accent or this cannot say that the height of God is this or that you cannot declare that it's not fair that God has hair and I don't you can't say that you can't say God weighs 250 and I weigh something else you can't say that you know what you can say he's all over us what we tend to do though brother Rob is we forget his goodness and then we have the audacity to say God I want to see you and the Lord says then I need you to look back I get so so emotional when I think of where the Lord has brought me from when I think of the mercy that he's shown me when I didn't deserve it I messed up so bad I should have been written off but instead he was good to me he let me breathe he let me blink he let me sweat he let my mind open he let me learn of him today I ask you friend are you looking for God's glory and you need to look at his goodness who you can leave this place today if you'll get in the frame of mind of his goodness you can walk out of this room today and every co-worker tomorrow at work and say how was your weekend and you can say I saw God's glory you have family call you with all their problems and mess and you can say you know what you need the glory of God in your life really how do I get that think of his goodness and all he's done and it'll cause you to back up and refresh it'll cause you to hit the keystroke that'll rewind it it'll cause you to click on it one more time and bring to your remembrance the goodness of the Lord hell it is new it is fresh he's faithful every day in this altar today I'm invite everybody that'll come and say Lord if you'll speak tomorrow I know you can God I want to remember the goodness that you've shown to me because if I recall and I'll bring it back into my heart and my mind your goodness will Show Me Your Glory come on is there anybody hungry for the good things of God come to an altar it might be today that what I say is strange to you you need to repent of your sins you need the gift of the Holy Ghost working in your life come on come on remember the goodness of the Lord come on bring it to your mind God you've been good to me I see your glory Lord in all of life situations I know God you've been good to me I see your glory oh come on somebody the glory of the Lord is in the goodness of the Lord foreign take time to thank him for the little things take time to thank him for the daily thing come on somebody hey yeah yeah oh come on that's right I see your goodness I see your goodness Lord oh come on somebody hey yeah yeah yeah oh come on the goodness of the Lord with my life you'll see us you will see his glory you will see his goals come on you will see his glory Lord goodness falling out after me with my life laid down for surrender now Hallelujah your goodness is running your goodness is running oh that's right come on the goodness of the Lord come on remember his goodness today your goodness is remember his goodness today with my life come on God reveal it Lord let them see your goodness remind them Lord Of Your Grace remind them Lord you're good come on I pray he would anointed draw them near to you close to you close to your goodness is right oh that's right that's right that's right the hand of Lord is right the hand of the Lord oh that's right I love you Jesus foreign go into his presence your goodness Lord Your Glory Jesus ah you've been good to me God oh come on find somebody else to pray with them oh come on find somebody pray with them God anoint my brother today Lord anoint my sister name I see you Jesus you've been good to me Jesus you've been so good to me oh come on that's right remember the goodness of the Lord that's his glory notice where he's been in your life watch where he's been in your life he will open doors for your future right now I wish you'd yield to the Holy Ghost every man go find somebody every lady go find a lady to go and pray one for another come on really pray come on we need encouragement today come on go find somebody don't pray alone go find somebody Jesus come on pray one for another right now Lord God Jesus you've been good Lord yes you are still good Great Is Thy Faithfulness oh God come on the goodness of the Lord is right the goodness of the Lord is real Hallelujah Jesus the goodness of the Lord the goodness of the Lord the goodness of the Lord Jesus the goodness of the Lord come on God's good to you oh that's right come on ministering Angels right now let the Lord use you come on Jesus you can heal my brother today Lord you can feel my sister with your glory right now you can change her heart you can move in his life Lord yes you can Jesus Hallelujah Lord Hallelujah Lord oh he's a mighty good God come on his goodness is real it's a reminder every day you can see his glory recognize his goodness Jesus Jesus Jesus I love you Lord Jesus Hallelujah Jesus thank you so much you're thankful for the goodness of the Lord listen carefully please I want to demonstrate for two seconds something that might help some of us but McCabe will you bring Samuel up here y'all come help me right here stand right there okay right there don't move he moved the Lord is my shepherd I shall not want anybody know this one this is so cool this is what we use all the time to feel better don't we several years ago a young man poem of the testimony of telling his Pastor that he was no longer going to follow God because he didn't believe that it's just too hard it's too challenging it's too difficult I can't I don't know what else to do but I'm not going to y'all are okay right all right the pastor sat intently and listened to the young man and he said I want you to understand something sir that you're about to turn around and walk away from God but the last thing you're going to see as you turn and walk away is his goodness and his Mercy because the psalmist said surely goodness and mercy shall follow me and when you turn to walk away you're going to go right past his goodness in his Mercy before you walk away would you stop and embrace his goodness before you leave if I do that I won't go there's nothing like the goodness of God it's following you all the days of your life is following you your mercy your goodness now get off my stage come on it's with you Wherever You Are stop sometimes turn around and think of the glory of God in his goodness would y'all pray with before you leave Lord thank you for allowing us to come today for the word Lord for your spirit for the singing and the worship in the word go with us this week God let us be Lord testimonies of your goodness as people see your glory let us draw near to you God as your drawing near to us come on somebody thank Him in Advance before you walk out the door give him honor and Glory come on give him honor and Glory worthy Worthy is your name keep us the Sweet Lord we're going to come back rejoicing in you Lord somebody shout amen thank you so
