pray with me Church come on right now everybody praying Lord once again we gather we need the word today Lord Jesus we need your word Lord to change and alter our lives Lord I make myself available to you again take coals from the altar Lord touched these lips of clay your spirit or your truth is present in this place truth prevails in the world it's a new Jesus spirit of the Lord I love you somebody say in Jesus name come on in Jesus name declare it in Jesus name thank you singers thank you musicians one more time leading us in worship I thank you thank you to the teachers teaching classes to those working and greeting audio-video all the different people that it takes to make church app and I I thank you as pastor I love you and I appreciate your effort they say God bless cornerstone yes he is again to those watching online I welcome you to those guests that are here with us the Lord bless you we are honored that you've come thankful that you have gathered together with us somebody say in Jesus name as you're seated it's so good to be in the house of the Lord today what a what a tremendous what a great day to serve the Lord can be given a hand clap of praise oh we love you Jesus as we gather in this room on this Sunday we have been reminded one more time about the power and the blessing of belonging to a body of believers a body of people of like precious faith tell somebody close to you I'm so glad you sit by me togetherness connectedness not alone this those are all places that you and I as humanity that we were made to be we were designed to belong to others to have a place of influence and purpose in another person's life it is how we navigate life's challenges the Bible tells us this in the book of Genesis chapter number 2 verse 18 I'm sure you know this verse it's simple and the Lord God said it is not good that the man should be alone I will make him and help meet for him and we understand the reference we understand God's provision and part of his creation was to make a man from the dust and that from the man he made the woman came out of the man but the statement still stands to be true man should not be by himself God wants people to be connected one to another ideas may be different thoughts may be different meanings but all somehow working in tandem together how many of you realize that we are similar in some ways but yet we're different in other ways how many are thankful for the same misses how many are thankful or for the differences is y'all know pastors she's good yeah we all we all serve a purpose in each other's life we have ideas we have in inventions if you will that that we possess that cause us to grow and reflect one with another we also have an ability to influence others and to actually change the way that someone else sees something it is what humans do as we connect and disconnect one with another we have a strong connection to those who believe the same way that we believe those same ideas as a church we know how to see the image of God and what we do we know how to see the image of God in and how that it makes a similar one with another we're not exact replicas aren't you glad but we're working together and we're understanding more and more about each other that's why when you go to for an example another congregation and visit or meet with them some things connect and it's very quick and easy to pick it up and some things are very different because they don't do it that way the way you do it at your church you may know I'm talking about does it make it wrong perchance but it's just simply different a family unit knows and understands the possibilities that are there when the family comes together how many of you besides my family have a perfect family oh I'm so glad cuz mine's not perfect already know when it's family reunion time what to expect I already know what Christmas is going down man come on somebody help me don't leave me standing out here you know I'm talking about y'all ready boy if she shows up a man he's gonna show out Amy you know you already got this in your mind yeah why because we know somehow someway we want those differences in the family but we got to learn how to deal with them somebody just say Amen don't you have to not act like you know okay but we want we want somehow to be all things to all men so we established ourselves and then we kind of make adjustments as the family unit gets together No please understand and know that the feeling of not meshing or not fitting in with those around you that is not a new feeling we are products of our surroundings right we are the byproducts of what we've been taught but what has been demonstrated to us y'all stay with pastor for a moment so when we come together we search for the place to belong as we connect with one another in our families I'm talking your physical family and the church family the family of God and then you got to decide in the midst of that unit your independence your ability to choose and somehow make your voice be heard because there's a great difference friend between independence and dependence hear me besides the I end there's a great difference in the meaning your ability to choose how and what you do gives you a dependence on yourself and an independence from somebody else but at the same rate you don't want to turn loose of them and you sure hope they don't turn loose of you dependence let me just tell you the by definition is the state of relying on or needing someone or something for aid support or the like the state of relying or needing somebody how many are depending on others come on it might be your neighbor sitting next to you elbow and just look them in the eye scare them to death I depend on you tell them that come on tell her I depend on you babies depend on their parents I mean I'm talking about yeah children they depend on their families families depend on other families humans work that way we are dependent upon others so here we are on this 4th of July this Independence Day weekend and we gather in this worship facility with a mind set of independence and dependence if I may we need one another but we want to be ourselves in the midst of meeting someone else our talents our backgrounds our ideas our thoughts we make decisions about how we will trust and how much we will hold back we decide if we're gonna belong or if we're not gonna belong if we're gonna have this confidence or this trust or if we're gonna withhold it I'm reminded on this fourth of July weekend that we have celebrated our nation's independence from England it happened a long time ago was anybody there no okay we'll make sure you get the facts right here none of us are that old aren't you thankful but I want to refresh your mind for some for just a moment here today anybody ever heard of the Susan constant the God speed or the discovery they may know what those are what those were who you may know those names those are three ships that are said to have come from England an effort to find gold to find silver and valuables to also establish a trade route through the land on the Pacific Atlantic side through this land into the Pacific side so that the Orient could trade quicker and faster from Europe John Smith and some 100 others traveled with the blessing of the King to make good on trying to discover new routes and in new ways and new things to establish Jamestown anybody ever heard of Jamestown yeah there's some history buffs in here I'm glad you're here it was established and it received the name of the King James this is James's town 1607 that was the day there you go that's for you guys who want who want to understand a little about history but then in 1620 another group traveled further north and found refuge at what you and I call today Plymouth Rock anybody ever seen Plymouth Rock yeah it's a cool thing too we got to see if we were deputizing it ain't a rock hardly at all anymore it's about that big around now because people chipped off pieces and anyway anyway Jamestown took on James's name but but then the the other we understand in 1620 the Mayflower yeah the Mayflower came brought settlers to the north region and that land that was discovered brought opportunities and brought challenges and the reign of the kings and the queens had reached distant shores you got to know that there were ideas that there were thoughts there were intentions of the travelers there were farmers that came there were blacksmith Goldsmith silversmith there were so words there were one that could teach they were hard workers they they understood that that on the ship's manifest would be everything needed to establish a new world that came with a purpose of establishing new ideas and bringing England's plans of supreme power of that day into a brighter integrator life so we today are sitting in a place that was settled out of somebody who came with a purpose stay with me the process began as one ship and then another ship and then another group of ships came they came with a purpose they came to the eastern seaboard it was thought at that time it was called actually Virginia settlement all of the eastern seaboard was known as the Virginia settlement know where it got its name because Queen Elizabeth was who she was known as the Virgin Queen and they came and established Jamestown was King James's but okay I'm getting too deep in history understand they had a purpose they knew that they were coming to settle a better world so there was an establishment over the years over the process of time of 13 different colonies or different ways of working independently one with another but but separated and understanding that they needed each other but yet they had their distance between them they're all their purpose was to to live and to raise crops and to have goods and things furs and and riches that they could send back to England all because the people that were there wanted to come here and be involved I realized that we can go really deep into into this history lesson but suffice it to say that when people begin to settle here on this United States of America that we call now you got to know that many of them came with a purpose of starting a new life because they were under such great trip persecution and tribulation if you will that the kings and queens of that time were putting upon them if you go back in history don't have time today in the early 1500 you find out that there was a Bible that had been translated there was the ability for the English speakers and and readers that they could now understand the scriptures and the kings and the queens of that day say will not have it we're gonna stop this and we'll put an end to it they would literally burn entire cities down in the old country they would they would stop people they would burn them at the stake they would boil them and Oh anybody ever heard of foxes Book of Martyrs stay with me why because the persecution against what the people wanted to do was contrary to what the king or the Queen had said therefore they were trying to snuff out the voice of real godliness taxes then were put into place tariffs were established there were laws and demands coming from England to this new land and these 13 colonies there was Massachusetts Rhode Island Connecticut New Hampshire New York New Jersey Pennsylvania Delaware Maryland Virginia North Carolina South Carolina and Georgia these colonies they were all independently working but they came together and something happened they were dependent on one another if they were ever going to become an independent group of one another stay with me they came together and they established amongst themselves we want life we want liberty and we want the pursuit of happiness they in turn came up with a document and they simply called it the Declaration of Independence anybody heard of that on this weekend it would change everything for eternity signed into a declaration stay July 4 1776 our history includes a war with England the Revolutionary War 1775 1783 hard-fought farmer Smith's doctor's militia came together they fought against a well-trained and well-equipped Kings army but something was in the heart and the minds of those settlers that said we are tired of giving in to what they say they don't give us representation that allow us to plead our cause therefore we will declare we are independent from you now we know that it was a noble cause we understand though also there was a heavy price to be paid so in 2020 I know some y'all young folk I just blew your mind you didn't really take time in history class to study but you need to understand in the day and age in which we live you would be well served to remember the price that has been paid for your freedom to be in this room today with hands lifted up and mouth filled with praise mom and dad it would be well-served for you to let your children know freedom is not free there is a price to be paid if you're gonna be independent of what the past is you need to know you've got to make a declaration hear me now there have been wars fought since the beginning of this great country there have been countless graves dug as the dead bodies piled up entire families have been removed from the history books due to choices they may that brothers have fought against brothers and sisters have fought against sisters our freedom and our liberties that we hold so dear today have paid been paid by a blood trail if you will by many idealists and dreamers but we are here today and I'll say what it is we are still the undying ten states of america happy Independence Day everybody in the history lesson that I just gave you in the last few moments I have attempted to remind you of the great sacrifices and losses that have been suffered over the past two hundred and forty-four years much has happened and many lives have been changed but here we are I realize today on this Sunday afternoon that there's another battleground that rage is hot and rage is strong right now a fight that has been raised for thousands of years it is the battle for your soul it is the war that's fighting for your soul cien was introduced in the Garden of Eden disobedient to the law and the command of the creator may humanity separate itself from God hear me when men make choices they will pay the price of the choice that they make but when God has established a plan he'll make away where there is no other way God knew it he put man in his place and he told him I've got a plan for you I've got a way for you you need to understand the purpose of God is in this place today the Bible I wish somebody would shout it loud the Bible come on the Bible if you've got the Word of God lifted over your head today and declare this is God's roadmap for my life come on you need to know it you need to let your children mom and dad know it grandparents you need to let those around you realize it if you're gonna learn to walk and this present hurt ya where we live you need to know there is growth to be done there is learning to be done but all of history would declare the battle is the Lord's and not ours as you have seen through the history of our nation this United States of America when men and women make up their minds to do something they can make it happen so why then is there a constant battle in the spirit world why do men try to make it on their own without the glory and the splendor of the heavenlies in their life only to fail and to fail and to fall and to fail and to fail in the fall and then with sin dominating their life they lose all hope why do we in 2020 why are we such creatures of habit that are still in the battle for the spirit the fact remains friend of mine that it's been the same through all of history but something happened back at the beginning that we have got to wrap our hearts and minds around Genesis chapter 1 verse 27 simply says it like this so God created man in his own image in the image of God created he him male and female created he them we are made in the image of the creator the battle that you find yourself in from independence from the power of sin and death only comes when you decide and understand God made me God establish my footsteps God has a plan and a purpose for my life he created me in an image that doesn't look like a big mess doesn't look like a confused in a chaotic thing but instead I've been made in the image of the Creator the one that's ever been there the one that will always be there the one that'll be there when everything's said and done I've been made in the image of the great I am I've been made in the image of the pride and Morningstar I've been made in the image of the first and the last I've been made in the image of the Alpha and the Omega I've been made in the of the waymaker I've been made in the image of the healer I've been made in the image of the deliverer I've been made in the image of the one that will do anything any way any way possible to reach humanity I was made in the image of God the reason today on this Independence Day weekend the reason this is so important is whenever you finally get sick and tired of being sick and tired of the sin and the path of destruction that you are on and you look diligently to find peace and hope in your troubled soul I've come to tell every single one of you today sitting in this room and watching online wherever you are there is hope today for the troubled soul there is hope right now for the loss and the hurting your Independence Day can be today your Independence Day can be right now you can be separated from the grip of the enemy and the pain and suffering caused by sin and deceit freedom is found in the only name of Jesus Christ but you've got to decide are you willing to run into the arms of freedom today the good news of John the Gospel of John chapter 8 verse 34 jesus answered them verily verily I say unto you whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin and the servant abideth not in the house forever but the son abideth forever if the son therefore shall make you free you shall be free indeed only Jesus can break a chain of sin only Jesus can make you free only Jesus as the process in a plan for your life true freedom it comes in the name of Jesus so my question for today on this Sunday afternoon are you ready for independence freedom from your sin sick soul freedom from your sinful past hope of the Blessed future in Jesus Christ I've come to tell you there's a grip there's a hold there's a chain of sin that's holding you back but whom the son has made free is free indeed it is only the blood of Jesus friend that can break the chain of sin that's got you bound independence from sinful lifestyle in his life that's gonna destroy you only comes in Jesus you know what our world needs now brother Gibson Jesus hmm you know what this crazy culture we're living in needs right now it's Jesus cuz only the blood of Jesus can break the grip of sin on a life dependence I told you just a moment ago by its definition dependence is something that many of us don't really quite understand but I've come to tell you independence is something that we can all grasp a hold of independence is freedom from the control the influence the support the aid or the Laika of others or other things I've come to tell you that when you call on the name of Jesus there is independence from your back from the things that's happened in your past some of you you are still holding on to the evil that once gripped you and you're having the hardest time of turning loose of it I've come to tell you today on this independence weekend that through the blood of Jesus Christ your life can be changed hope can be breathed into your situation the influence of the enemy can be destroyed the back of Satan can be broken the chain of the one that's trying to hold you back from a heavenly host this can be destroyed today but only through the blood of Jesus Christ stand to your feet with me please the support that you need in the kingdom of God it's not gonna come from without but it's gonna come from within the family of God here the pastor the support that you need from the addictions and the habits that you've had the only way you can break him is in the name of Jesus you hear the preacher the only way you can get past that sin-sick lifestyle is to be baptized in the only saving name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins I've come to tell somebody the pain and the suffering that you're going through does not have to declare your future haha but you can wrap your arms around the loving Savior and you can decide right now today is my day of Independence I'm no longer gonna be bound to the sinner and the junk of the world in my past but instead I'm running into the arms of mercy and grace only Jesus can satisfy your soul only Jesus can make you hope only Jesus could put you on the straight in the narrow way only Jesus for those of you who know the Lord have a relationship with him you already know what pastor saying because he came in and he changed your world amen others sitting under my voice right now listening you used to feel the Liberty and the freedom of the Spirit of God you could hear his voice simply breathe into your ear and you would yield to it and you would move and God somehow in some way would show up at the strangest times and you would submit to it and you knew that was part of the freedom and the independence of serving a God who paid the price for your sin but something's happened there used to be an ability to yield to the unction of the Spirit but now doubt fear questions has settled in I'll ask you this way if you prayed this week one time would you lift your hand now with that one prayer when everyday it was now you may have prayed a thousand times I'm asking about one how much faith that you have in that one prayer that you prayed I mean really you might have felt you know what God you can God you can God you can and then the enemy stomps into your situation and begins to snort squall and roar you better hush that faith thing you better be quiet and that believing thing I know your past I know many many years ago some of y'all might remember this we used to fight devils in churches you may remember those days yeah now we fight people anyway I tried that's how I was that's how I grew up meaning many times we'd have to leave the services kids something demonic was moving and I watched the vomit come out I've seen him slither on the floor like a snake I've watched that as a kid growing up y'all think it's fake it ain't fake it's true you better know it's real on the mission field man we see all kind of cool stuff I watched a little bitty thing one time it's - all this little standing the alter she started squawking and squealing and scooping and doing what she was doing and man the devil began to rear up his head and that voice came out and these two big old men and the church Justin tried to hold her down and I watched her she went see I'm standing in front of it with the pastor who says who says who says who says I'm sorry Jesus Jesus Jesus well I wasn't afraid I wasn't scared Pasteur looked at those two men as they got up off the floor literally she's standing there doing this round this growl was tough and he said y'all keep your hands off of her this is not a flesh and blood thing you just keep her from hurting hurting somebody else so they came and stood behind and he just looked her in the face and he said you be quiet I rebuke you in the name of Jesus Christ from Nazareth you come out of her right now I watched her as I stood there and prayed with that Pastor as she melted and hit the floor and he said give her a moment and she stood up and it was there again and he stopped the guys he said hold on I said in the Jesus in the name of Jesus and she looked at him and she said what sure he said to her what's your name I'm not gonna tell you better tell me your name and when she spoke and he rebuked it used to fight devils and churches because a lot of devils came to churches cuz folk came but then we got really really comfortable with bad thoughts and bad ideas and bad intentions and somehow we have to accept everybody for who they are and this rebuking thing no longer matters because faith isn't strong enough to fight it there's some of y'all today you know exactly what I'm talking about you face devils all day long you don't know what to do with them so you learn how to embrace them or at least get along with them that's the wrong state to be in because like one of those devil friends going to heaven sin will not enter there it will not enter there I done told y'all time and again the stores are growing up and how things would happen and my mom was crazy to cast out Devils and my grandmother she wasn't afraid I'm a little bitty thing I'm telling ya that's how I came into the church I believe that's still the case today but somebody's got to understand the only way for the enemy to be revealed is in truth and the truth of the matter is you no longer need that lifestyle of Siena you don't need that Leigh overseer that I'm half asleep mentality anymore you don't need to be worried about hot or cold he said I don't even care if you're one or the other but what makes me sick is when you're halfway I'll throw you up I'll spit you out I don't need you cuz if you're lukewarm you serve no purpose to either side I believe in this hour in which we live yo this will be recorded y'all hear pastor I believe in the hour in which we live that God is gonna demonstrate who the church is and there's much confusion and chaos and all the garbage going on on the streets outside these four walls today you don't think for one moment that God's not in control he is what he's allowing to happen is for things to rise up and blatantly look at the church I've come to tell somebody if you go out of this building today and the devil himself looked you in the eye you've got an anointing and an unction on your life my question is as have you been independent or dependent on him because if you've been set free if there's been a work of spirit in your life you've got the ability look any devil in the eye at any level that he is and simply declare I might not be the greatest prayer warrior I may not pay the most entice I might not understand every verse and the word but I got a burner that's covered my life and it is the blood of Jesus and no weapon that can stop the blood of Jesus therefore somebody better declare a day of independence pastor you're better devil move back I'm now gonna step into the holy place of God and allow the spirit of an Almighty God to work in my life why because now more than ever before the latter rain before my rain is coming together and it's gonna be greater I've become to ask somebody today as he begins to play over here are you ready for freedom from the control the influence of support of your past and all the shuttle are you ready to get loose of it but this altar is open for you right now some of you some of you here of late have begun to have dreams you don't understand them some of you have been woke in the wee hours of the morning with a dream and taking your breath what is what is that signify some of you have visions of things that you don't quite comprehend some of you are hearing voices from the heavenlies you're so confused because you don't know how to entertain them I've come to take truth always shows itself through loving you pouring himself into you God is here in this hour and although the enemy in the world is chaotic crazy mad even God's not what God showed you is exactly right do not doubt it don't you doubt the dream don't you forget the word you need to know it's the real deal it is the real deal don't you let your past dictate your future you listen to Pastor for a moment God is doing things in this hour keep your eyes off of what the enemy is doing out there and get your eyes and your heart on the things of God and decide now I am a child of God I have been set free from that past I've been delivered from my past I have a future in the name of Jesus therefore when I come together with people of like precious faith you're not about to drag me to that altar but I'm gonna come running with hands high God I know what you showed me I know how you spoke it to me I remember your voice I've heard your voice I know what you smell like I understand what you look like I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that when you speak my life will change somebody needs to run to this altar right now and declare if you said it god I'm gonna believe in it I'm gonna settle it and I'm gonna praise you in all of life situations come on play some brother drum the Spirit of the Lord is drawing you Louie you trying to get you into his presence would you come would you yield to what the voice of the Lord is saying don't run from it run to it don't run him back from him to run to it run to his name run to his spirit run to the truth of his word come on it's prayer time in the house of the Lord prayer warriors would you make your way truth prevails truth overcomes truth does conquer the enemy truth is the way come on somebody make your way to an altar praying come on call the name of the Lord pray in the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus I'm believing you for Lord there is manifestation of your glory hallelujah to the lamb hallelujah to the lamb hallelujah to the lamb of God let's ride come on come on rebuke that voice of the enemy back him down in the name of Jesus I'm an overcomer I'm a blood for child of God my faith says yes to You Lord I believe in your Lord Jesus you are
