moments if you will places that as christians quite honestly we are in a state of question an example would simply be this why why do bad things happen to good people anybody ever asked that question yeah i mean it's it's a logical question where did the idea of evil come from i mean isn't there an easier way to remove the horrible things of those of this world i mean the god of all of creation could blink sink or do and things would happen and sometimes in our and our minds and our hearts maybe we can say wow can't god just fall and things be taken care of maybe i'm the only one in here but as much as you and i love the lord as much as we know that his plan and his will they are working in the lives of humanity we still live our lives and therefore we have issues with the terrible things that are going on in the world around us i'm sure that each one of us we would try to answer the questions that are even our family and our friends asked us and and and i've heard this statement so many times i'm not really sure how many to count but if god is love then why is there so much hate in the world now stay with me for a moment today i feel like that the holy ghost is already spoken at the from the very first moment that our service began the spirit of the lord is moving if there is a god that loves why is there all of this other stuff it's a simple but it's a complex question the truth is god is good alright let's stand and dismiss where god is good god is good people are not god sin is bad people have sinned so so the battle between faith and trust is really a daily a daily grind it's a daily question now though here's my question today if you'll allow me do you really believe that god is a provider if you believe that wave your hand you believe that then why do you have to work to make money to pay your bills hmm well because then you go through all this scenario i understand i understand there's how many basic question how many you believe with all of your heart that god is a healer come on wave it i know you're right you're a healer you're a healer yes he is yes he is then why are there people on a church today because they're sick i'm asking some very simple questions today because i feel like in the hour in which we live if we don't truly comprehend the purpose and the power of the church we will miss what god is desiring to do in this generation so we can look at the questions and we can try to understand them but i'm telling you if you have the spirit of god in your life there can come and understand me and a peace to settle all of those questions that arise in you the fact of the matter is though as humans we have to learn how to trust the answer we got to know that we know that we know that god heals you know how i know god heals cuz he's healed me you know how i know god's a provider because for some reason somehow someway god came through for me hey i only have to look at a book or hear your testimony somebody can ask me put a gun to my head hand on a bible whatever you say do you really believe god is a healer yes he is cuz nobody else could have done what he did therefore i stand upon the testimony of what god has done in my life i know i've been sick in my life and there have been doubts and fears in question but the fact of the matter is simply this when i was in my worst of situations it could have ended in such a terrible way but once i get through up here me through the situation and i can look back at it then i can say it must have been the hand of the lord it must have been the provision of god the whole time all the lessons that i have learned along the way when i figured out that it is god's plan it is his see it is his loving-kindness in spite of you and you and you in anybody else out there my god loves me i have a relationship with him he's on the throne of my life and in the good times i'm gonna praise his name in the bad times i'm gonna do the same the only way you can know about god is having experience with him now you do realize what sin can do to a person hmm you know that because all around you in the world in which we live there is sin bad choices horrible conditions destruction and dismay our daily walk with god daily daily walk with god shows us that there are things going on around the come on anybody ever felt a bad spirit wasn't that fun you walk by that such person or see them in the hallway or they come up next to your in the car by you mean i'm talking about you might ever felt the evil of the world try to come in and put fear and doubt in your mind come on some of y'all have looked the evil riding the eye and in the name of jesus it fled from you you know what i'm talking about some of you were scared to death in the flesh but the spirit gave you a boldness and intercession begin to happen and you didn't realize what was going on but the lord god was taking care of you come on our daily walk with god we still have to say that with all the sin with all the things going on that our god still loves the sinner salvation is still real for anyone who will follow his plan how can we say that with such junk going on how can it be that in a world full of confusion and question that you and i as apostolic says blood ball children of god baptized in the name of jesus christ how is it it's because we have learned that in our lives god is faithful and his faithfulness is not attached to what they are or what they are doing he's faithful he is true he is just he is powerful he is plentiful why because that's who our god is whether i allow him to be that or not he is still bad question there have been times in your life when you tried when you tried to be a bad person and you tried to destroy your life only to have something good happen stay with me stay with me i've told this testimony a time or two how that when i was in the military i was doing everything i could do to be apostolic but i was failing miserably i was a young for 18 19 year-old man i was just enjoying life i was in germany i was in help i was in different places and and i was responsible for thousands and millions of dollars worth of equipment and all these guys doing what they did and all and it's bad and toughest i thought i could be i'd be back down in the corner almost every time i'd go to a place i shouldn't be and for whatever reason somebody come up next to me and say hey what you doing in a place like this i'm just like you know you're not there's something going on here i'm i tried to do other and i'm saying how can it be that way i'll tell you why is because when i was young and in the presence of the lord there was an anointing that was placed on my life and i begin to yield to that and understand i'm not perfect i'm not an angel and i sure can mess up but the plan of god is bigger than all of my sorrow then all of my pain and all of my shame than anything that i could ever go to god's hand is on my life now could i outrun it sure try i tried and finally i realized in the wee hours of the morning laying in my bed in the barracks when all the guys have gone out doing what they do cried myself to sleep night after a nice peeking and tunc god i don't know what you're doing i wish i could go out and have fun with these guys i wish i could just enjoy things but i don't know what's going on in me my god i need you all i know is i miss your presence i know i miss all i know is while i'm laying in this car right now it says if i've received the holy ghost for the first time god i don't know how it is you're a perfect good honest upright righteous god and somehow you're reaching through all of this junk and you're taking my heart right now and touching me i don't understand it but god i'm glad you're doing it how is it possible that god could make things happen in our lives when you just know that as negative and as joking as garbagey as you could be good happens god works in mysterious people no mysterious ways i'll give you an answer you know what god is good all the time and all the time hmm god is good all the time and all the time come on on your worst day on earth is no comparison to one second in the presence of a god that's looking at you right now i stand here today as a preacher and a pastor and i'll be the first to let you know i do not have all of the answers and i stand and scratched my head many times i wonder in amazement how things turn out i look to my wife and said baby they never gonna make it and lo and behold they make it i look and i say dey no way let's go happen and all of a sudden they came on they come out of it i asked god lor what's the deal with this person or that situation and the only thing that i can come up with is that my god does what god does and he is who he is in spite of who i am or who you are you nor i may god you know i were not consulted on how god does things come on some of y'all wonder why god ain't answering your prayer it's because he knows he understands how your answer works now lord you know you know how faithful i'd be if i won that forty cabbage alien dollar lottery whoa our church knees paid off god you know that's what i do lord you know my heart you just said the right thing god knows your heart my whole path you say all the time i've been in trouble for this one you play the lottery player you'd be better off giving me your five dollars you get it back for me faster than you'll ever win the lottery i'm just telling you this there's things that happen in life a many times we wish that we could control them and i think you better understand as god is god in spite of all things we didn't put god in his place he didn't come to us for know to know how to do things but in the best efforts many times we fall so short and we try to understand it here where are we are in this room today i said this a moment ago some god from the very beginning of this service this afternoon the lord god has demonstrated himself in this place some of you have cried tears of repentance some of you have cried tears of joy some of you have cried tears because you don't know what else to do some of you have shouted some of you have sang songs as loud as you could off tune but the songs were about jesus and therefore he inhabited that praise and he came up close to you come on you know that when you shake hands and you hug somebody's neck you're encouraging them whether you believe it or not the spirit of the lord is working through you to help your brother or your sister the fact of the matter is we need to know that we know that god is in all things of his plan is better than anything else out there look look what happened when when when paul wrote a letter to the romans in romans 827 and he that searches the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the spirit bagasse because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of god verse 28 and we know that all things work together for good to them that love god to them who are the called according to his purpose what does that mean it simply means that when you understand the spirit of god and you comprehend the who god is you need to know there's an intercession that is happening according to the will the desire the plan of an almighty god in to add to that we need to know beyond the shadow of any doubt that things are working together for good there are things happening in your life that you would consider to be a big old mess but somehow someway the formula that god uses is bringing it into a place that good is going to happen all things work together for good to them that love god lord that said that means i can do anything be anything say anything i shook a hand i said a prayer i'll be saved the rest of my life there's no way i can ever fall out of your grace that's not at all what that translation means it means this you love god you love him what i love you when i don't understand i love you when there's food on my table i love you and there's nothing in my bank account i love you when all my family and friends have walked away i love you when i grasp it and i love you when i don't i love you when it makes sense i love you when i don't even know how much sense i have i love you god come on that ought to be the first phrase out of your mouth in the morning i love you jesus that ought to be what lays your head on a pillow at night i love you jesus why because i know things are working for good that means they're working that means they're moving that means they're in transit that means things are happening it might not happen right now this moment when you decide it should but i've come to tell somebody there have been more than one time in my life when i thought i can't stand it another day i'm so frustrated with this job i'm so frustrated with the finances i'm so frustrated with this or with that or with em or those or whatever's going on god yeah this is micah put me under and lo and behold when i simply looked at the situation and backed up i realized that for whatever reason god was working things out and when i come through the other side i'm staring at it right in the face and it'll make no sense i never would have put myself here but my god was working things for what for good if i listen to the voice of the enemy i would have stopped in mid-stride if i would listen to the doubt in the fear of my brother and sister on my right hand in my left i would have missed the anointing and the unction that god was putting on my life but because of what god has done here somebody what i'm saying i cannot explain to any money in this room why it was that as a young boy i laid in a bed with a disease that the doctor said i'd have to have be in a wheelchair the rest of my i don't know why that happened but i know the testimony of my mom and dad and the people in the church that prayed for me and once i got up out of that bed and i went back to school and begin to learn how to read and write again there's a god that came through and through all of it it might not have been for me it might have been for them god was working it for good and i declare i stand behind this sacred desk today knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt my god is working things out for me come on it's to them who are the called according to his purpose hmm hmm how do you know i mean how do you really know that it's working together how can how can you really know that it's god doing things and it's not simply a roll of the dice i'll tell you how listen you know we live in a very strange world i mean though we live in a really cool world it's amazing to me that the world in which we are living right now has a difficult time believing in an almighty god who died on a cross to save your little sin-sick soul they can't believe that but they'll believe in walking dead are you don't lost you are you saying you heard what you just said that's so fun okay let me tell you another story there was a man named jesus christ now believe that oh obviously i've seen some of the worst talented people of my life think they're gonna make it i'm like i'm coming oh you're going to you're ain't going to you're ain't i'll get something mm-hmm oh how did you know cuz you don't seem good at all did i judge them no i listened to him oh let's um y'all in here would love to play the piano but you better not get behind that brother drawing to be all over you being politically that's why i'm not over there anymore i can play in the key of c the key of c come on i knew it fast i knew it slow i can do how many times i tell him but you better know something ain't it all about you you think you all of that god will come in right now and smack you to the ground you listen to what i'm telling you friend if you really believe now the other side of that coin if i may is this if you'll yield and submit yourself god's gonna work out the little things that you don't know how to make that connection that keychains that exchange god's gonna say if you'll just love me if you'll serve me and somehow threw it off and blew it make in the church go whoa yeah go back listen to recording sometimes ya how matter is this there are so many things happening in your life the only explanation you can give it as it has to be god romans 8:35 let me tell you how convinced the man paul was of this who shall separate us from the love of christ see i'm a man i mess up i have issues i have stuff i'm trying to have faith i'm trying to believe i'm going forward i'm going backward i'm loving the lord i'm on my face i'm up and down i'm in i'm out and here come paul along he says who's gonna separate us from the love of christ as a question there shall tribulation or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril or sword verse 36 as it is written for thy sake we are killed all the day long we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter nay in all things we are more than kurz through him that loved us the tribulations in your life the distress in your life the persecution in your life the famine the nakedness the peril and the sword in every situation you can find yourself in there is something about knowing there's a love out there that passes all of it and what you've gotta realize is if god is on your side he's working things out for you but there's something that you've gotta know beyond the shadow of a doubt you've gotta put it in your knowledge god your god you're on the throne you're exalted above everything it's in the knowing whether it makes sense or not i'm gonna worship you god i'm gonna love you god i've done made up in my mind come hell or high water i'm serving jesus i'm serving jesus you're a more than a conqueror you are more than a conqueror why because jesus christ is alive and well in your life paul in his writing to the roman church do you realize who the romans were do you realize who this group of people who they were who they steelheart everything going on in rome at that time it was the seat of idolatry the philosophy the thought of the age began there ideas cultural identity it all came out of rome in the beatings and in the history that we read and the persecution of the of the christians if you were when you read that you've got to understand do you realize that that when paul was beaten and then he brought up a point who he said what do you realize i'm a citizen of rome and they what do you mean see everything revolved around that there's a reason that if you'll understand who you are and you'll realize in the knowing that what god is doing in your life you've got to become persuaded something inside of you has to bring you to a place just like paul said neither death no life romans 8:38 nor angels nor principalities nor powers nor things present nor things to come nor height nor depth nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of god which is in christ jesus our lord what i want to know today is there anybody that's persuaded i've come to realize on my worst day you know my best day god is still god and i know that's true i don't need another miracle to happen in me for me to know my god can work a miracle i don't need another healing for me to know my god is a healer i don't need another something provided for me to know my god's a provider why i know i'm persuaded huh staying with me please i am persuaded because everything that paul spoke of in that hour is the same thing that you and i understand today as a christian as a christ-follower as understanding that change happens in all of us when i was fifteen i didn't know if i'd ever drive but that's what i wanted to do you might remember that 16th birthday i looked forward being huh i did everything i could do my son at all 16th birthday he was knocking on my door in my bedroom hey dad i even have coffee yet i know he was hopeful and on that day guess what happened brother gibson he got his license i've realized in life when i was 18 i was about to graduate high school what am i gonna do with my life lord i don't really know and i just got just begin to make steps god had already been working in my life as a young person instead of me saying i want to be this or that or whatever i just simply said lord i'm gonna love you and whatever i do so when i joined the military i knew that's what god wanted for my life some looked at me and said you're strange some even walked away from me fact some denied me said you you're backslidden you're out there doing this you're doing that the reason i'm married to this lady right here the reason i made to her is because in the middle of all that junk going on god meant it for good and one night after you service something talking to her that's when i had dark hair she had dark hair and all she did was sat there that night listen to me after an hour so talking i don't know why i just shared all that with you she said what i don't know either i see one go out this weekend sure so i guess you did inventory i don't know got nobody else josh i was going to the west coast man i was so tired of hearing from a young youth that was in my youth group you didn't lost it you went to germany you went to texas you you've seen all this you've done all that yeah you're backsliding you're just in a reprobate state i said i'll go i'll go back one more service so you service well friday night i went i was ready to load my truck on saturday and head to the west coast it's fact she and she was at service that night i leaned over tim rob who is that that's in shale no it's not yes no that's not her we got to that park and all the young people used to do silly things we didn't go shoot people and do dumb stuff we'd go to a kids park and swing on the swings in fact she drank all my tea made all the ice in my cup it's six months later i said will you marry me well lorenzo i never would have picked this but god knew from the whole time cuz he knew where i'd be standing today he knew what i was gonna need and what you were gonna need cuz my god works all those details out i'm persuaded that neither death nor life i know mm-hmm nor angels nor principalities i know nor powers nor things present nor things that come height depth any other creature shall be able to separate me from the love of god which is in christ jesus i know therefore coming to church on sundays not a question i already know god's gonna be here i don't know if you're gonna make it or not but i know i'm gonna be here and i know god's gonna be here i already know when it's time to pray it's prayer time and i go to my face and i pray i already know nobody had to convince me nobody's got to scare me into it i already know come on you can ask my kids daddy i need you to pray why don't you call submit cuz i know that if i call you you'll pray daddy pray with me on the phone daddy i don't know what to do in this come on baby have you prayed about it have you talked to god about it have you interceded have you gone to god about dad i don't know what else to do i know what to do close your mouth right now listen your dad in the name of jesus god you look you know what's going on i know beyond the shadow of a doubt you're a waymaker you're a deliverer you're a healer you're a protector you're a provider you do all things perfectly well but i've come to tell somebody on this sunday isn't in the knowing it's in the knowing unpersuaded god is god and i don't have to be tricked into it i don't have to be delta sent a card so believe it i don't have to let somebody else convince me my god is god in this place right now having the experiences that you have had do you know him do you know him come on if he's ever healed you you know him as a healer if he's ever come through for you you know that he'll come through if he's ever brought you out of a bad situation you already know he can bring you out if he has provided where nobody else would you already know he's a provider come on in whatever situation you're in right now you've got to know that you know that you know god i am persuaded i know that what you're doing is exactly right this is what am i ask you to do on this sunday every family in this room i want you to grab each other and i want you to come to this altar area as fast as you can get here come on if you're a family of one you come in the name of jesus come on every family in this room you come the rest of your family ain't here grab ahold of somebody else ask him real nice can i give him your family for a minute come in your mind and say i know i know i am persuaded there are things happening there's a road that i'm on their stuff lord that's just falling apart but i know that nothing will separate me from your something going on in your mind something going on in your home i want you to lift a hand come on you know specifically what it is come on put your hand high identify with it come on leave your hand up identify with it it might be a financial need that you've got it might be a physical and emotional that could be strife in your home there could be just just negativity come on leave your hand in the air believe it believe it come on now with that hand up i want you to open that hand open it to heaven offer it up to the lord lord i give you this situation right now with an open hand lord i refuse to envelop and i refuse to let it destroy me but lord you are working things for my good you are working things for my good come on leave your hand open don't close it i give it to you i give mouth with the praise right now and give it to god i know that you are more than able to take it and to deal with it jesus you are working things for my good come on somebody now claim it right now lord i believe you for it i believe you for jesus it is our theme for 2020 regeneration my prayer for this year has been since the day one of january lord let me be regenerated washed because it's so easy to let doubt fear worry to overshadow you but there is a washing and a regeneration of the spirit that can come to you and in the middle of your worst day god can show himself in the biggest way so that's become my prayer so in my prayer daily i say lord bless cornerstone apostolic church now y'all may pray different i don't know you may have all this war long i don't i just talk lord it's me there are families in the church god that the enemy has lied to i speak a word of regeneration into that home that's what i've been praying i've been praying that when when family members grabbed the doorknob to come through the door that the anointing that once rested upon that house that they have negated at this point somehow its maqam oh i felt that in a while no i've been praying for backsliders to be woke up in the middle of the night to three o'clock in the morning god you just smack them as hard as you can make them so miserable but the only thing making the only place they can find help is in your presence because then they'll come running back y'all think i'm crazy i'm telling you when the church becomes the church that we're supposed to be and we're praying and we're believing and we're honoring god and we're letting good working god is saying that's going to be the family the church that i use matter what we think we are if we are truly following god god is going to use the church that's the first aid station right now in your life we're gonna pray as we go home whatever is going on i want you to turn it loose pray lord i give it to you not a thing that i can do lord to make it better i've tried i don't have to fix it i don't have the toolbox i don't i don't have the instructions on how to put it all right place somehow someway lord it's just what it is today and i give it to you and lord as i walk out of this building today i'm gonna walk in faith milwaukee and trust knowing that you are on the throne and you are exalted things lord that's happening are gonna work for good lord i plead your blood right now over each family every heart that's here as we go lord our separate ways this week we're gonna have faith to believe we're coming back midweek we're gonna love you together every day lord we're praying one for another a washing and a regeneration of the spirit in jesus name i plead your blood right now go with us and keep us in jesus name we
