Revival

We Gather again in this place it's a sacred time of worship and singing nobody else enjoy coming to the house of God like I do yeah we do it as often as we can we we come every week if we can if the weather permits and we have lots of snow and ice in Chad go right in fact we gather at this determined time weekly to give Clarity and structure to anybody that will come and and gather themselves it's it's called Sunday on your calendar it's a time to worship and to remember the goodness of the Lord for the past last week we all should call it our Sabbath that all right A Time To Remember somebody say remember we do remember the goodness of God the provision of the Lord and then we share that testimony with people around us and people outside these walls we we keep it reverent we keep it holy Lord this is Sunday it's the day I go to the church house amen and following the law we bind the the word that we learn we bind it on our hearts we we look through it as frontlets if you will and we understand with thankfulness that God is working in us he's working on us and he's working through us coming to the house of the Lord is not simply an act of get you from one place to another but here the preacher today it is an act of submission to the things the laws the plans of God the word of God unfolds as we gather together every week every opportunity we have we can actually today see the effects and the power of God working on us because we gather together somebody say Amen now it's always been that way from the very beginning of recorded time we see that God wanted desired and even hungered for time with his Creation in the garden you can read the first mentioning of the cool of the evening God would come and walk and talk and communicate with his creation Adam we can see the effects though that sin made on the way that where place the place that God had ordained to be for him and his creation sin now separated that and we understand that but God has a plan you move a little forward from the book of beginnings and you find that God told man to build him a tabernacle a place a dwelling place where he could come and every day the people of God would walk step by step through the process that God had given them sacrifices would have to be made gold fine materials had purposed Pro provision in the kingdom and and and in the way that the man did things measurements square footage all according to the command of God and this purpose of this place was that God wanted to be with his creation of course today 2024 we we are in a different time in a different place there's no smoke in here from an altar burning incense yet there's there's no big labor of water that splashes about it's simply a horo if you want to Generations have come and generations have gone

and here we are still today though we are looking for the hand of God in all of our Lives I have discovered that I need him now now more than ever before the process of time there have been great moments that have actually shaped the history of our world inventions that occurred that we still use today how many are thankful for lights how many's thankful for the carpet on the floor of your house or chairs you sit in come on who invented the first chair there's you one and then you wonder what if your knees bent the other way what would a chair look like cars I'm thankful for cars I'm thankful for juice machines I'm thankful for Volkswagon come on thankful for water in a bottle thankful for warm milk and coffee little lather on it with a little bit of sugar somebody's ready for a second cup aren't you all the things around us they've morphed and they've changed of course and the stage in which we now live all of these things have have become part of our livelihood and who we are and fact let me be so bold as to say that you and I today we work within the confines of what our world has presented to us in my mind now I know that I got a weird brain and sometimes I I think what else is there to invent huh where else is there to go and all that I see and in all of the hand of man working I I I want to know is there some way that life can be better and if so is it really better or is it simply more laziness stay with me stay with me

in our current world situation it seems that things have gotten out of sorts anybody noticed that there's confusion and conflict there's unrest there's bickering there's trust broken there's the future is unsure the financial instability in the market the political upheaval the school systems on and on and on and go what we find out here follow me is that the systems that Humanity has placed into position for whatever reason those ways are now on Shaky Ground in fact some of them are even at a point of imploding falling apart failing then here's the question if those systems fail where do they go very precarious times right now uncertainties and one of the question s that is plaguing our nation in particular is simply this who is in control anyway who's in charge around here I am not waxing political I am simply looking at the nature of our confused world right now and I don't mind saying I wonder where are we headed and who is laying the groundwork for it you and I know there are no surprises with God understand that somebody say amen and in all of life's misfortunes there are moments of blindness there are moments where you really can't see the the light flickers a bit the the Flames almost fade yet somehow in the midst of the confusion and the chaos and the question and the concerns there is some kind of Ember of Hope a a spark if you will an array of possibilities and we we today we are looking for answers for the questions and they seem to be overwhelming us maybe not you sitting in here but somebody you know as asked this week perhaps even today what is going on why is it happening like it is

here's a question what do you tell your kids The Best Is Yet To Come what does that mean anyway how do you make plans he the preacher how do you make plans for an uncertain future I mean if you really are questioning what's going on how do you make plans for that our hearts our cry in the midst of Brokenness and hurt how do we need to be believing now in this hour of confusion and conflict the question that I will ask you right now is simply this where is truth in this hour H where is truth in this hour now for for whatever reason there has come a generation that we have simply made God to fit into a box we call it a system of worship say with me possibly salvation of sorts has no real meaning nor purpose and so if you can simply get to a place where you can mingle with other folk maybe you can call that sufficient and now people are trying to figure out in this climate how to move forward how to have hope and how to say it's going to be okay and yet in today's world they don't know what to do and one of the questions that keeps presenting itself in so many Avenues and so many Arenas of our life here today where do we find God is he simply in the Gathering is he simply in the talents that we have is God in the midst of a single Church does God only want a certain color or Creed there are a lot of questions I had listen to me in the city of Chattanooga there are so many doors to churches that are rampant around our city you can drive down almost any Street and sooner or later you will cross paths with a church some of them in the middle of nowhere some of them in the middle of everything we are not having any shortage of church today there's all types there's all sizes with or without music with or without women with or without men with or without children with or without love with or it doesn't matter because a house of worship simply becomes a place where you gather and you socially try to find somebody that does it the same way you do let me ask you a question on this Sunday at 10:5 for us clock Watchers what happened where did God go

notice something here in the book of Acts I want to read this to you because I know you're interested in Acts 17:22 Paul stood the midst of Mars seal and he said you men of Athens I I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious for as I passed by beheld your devotions I found an altar with this inscription to the unknown God whom therefore you ignorantly worship him I declare I unto you you God that made the world and all things therein seeing that he is Lord of Heaven and Earth dwelleth not in temples made with hands neither is worship with men's hands as though he needed anything seeing he giveth to all life and breath and all things follow this and hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on the face of the Earth and hath determined times before appointed the bounds of their habitation that they should seek the Lord Lord if happily they might feel after him and find him though he be not far from every one of us for in him follow this we live we move we have our being and as certain also of your own poets have said for we are also of his offspring for as much then as we are The Offspring of God we ought not to think that the godhead is like unto gold or silver a stone Graven by Art and man's device and the times of this ignorance God winked at but now commandeth follow this all men everywhere to repent because he hath appointed a day in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he he hath ordained whereof he hath given Assurance unto all men in that he hath raised him from the dead Paul's words to those who would live in that generation for some reason they echo through the eons of time and it comes to even us today and what Paul was trying to to help the confused at that time what he was trying to get them to understand at that moment is you've got something in your temple in your church in your place of worship and you don't even know him you call him unknown I'm going to talk about that one why because if you'll ever get a hold of the unknown God God he'll change everything about what you do know listen to this God in the midst of all of what was going on at that day was unknown 2024 we are facing a similar dilemma where is God what is truth is he unknown is he known there must be a desire to see him H

notice the writer to the Hebrews in 11:6 you know this but without faith he this it is impossible to please him for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him God rewards the Seeker so in the middle of the mess in the middle of the chaos what is it that we really need give me give me a moment to help somebody today I I felt this so strong this morning in my office and I I feel it even right now

there's an Old Testament story that gives us some insight if you'll allow me a moment I want to talk about some things the the Bible tells us that God had spoken to A Man Called Moses anybody heard of Moses yeah Moses was the one with a big stick that's right and Moses would become the deliverer of the people of God from their bondage now the deal with Moses allow me time to paraphrase some of this Moses was not the one that would articulate words correctly and so he says to God I I'm not a mouthpiece I I don't speak plain I don't have what eloquence I need I don't I can't verbally demonstrate to people who I am much less who you are and so God hearing what Moses said he simply said to him I will give to you then a mouthpiece he is Aaron somebody say Aaron Aaron by definition simply means exalted follow me now so Aaron would become the spokesperson for Moses Moses would hear from God Moses would share with Aaron Aaron then would distribute it out to those who were in The the people of God we know that our Bible tells us that God delivered the children of Israel and Moses was the one that took them took them to the edge of the promised land in the process of time though listen to this the people began to question whether or whether or not Moses was fent to lead them also even is it true that Aaron is really the one that is saying exactly what God wants us to hear one of the members of the tribe of Levi began to gather a group of people who complained about him his name was Kora follow me woohoo Kora by definition means ready for it baldness Barren nothing uh so this Uprising Begins the people are looking for answers their generation is in a mix of emotions and methods is Aaron God's man or are one of the other Levites like Kora is it is he God's man and so God begins to speak with Moses and he tells Moses listen to this this is so intriguing he says Moses this is what I need you to do I need you to gather together somebody from each of the 12 tribes and they need to cut down a rod and they need to bring that stick to you

let's read in numbers 177 verse1 the Lord spake unto Moses saying Speak unto the children of Israel take every one of them a rod according to the house of their fathers of all their princes according to the house of their fathers 12 rods write thou every man's name upon his rod and thou shalt write Aaron's name upon the rod of Levi for one rod shall be for the head of the House of their fathers and thou shalt lay them listen to this lay them up in the Tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony where I will meet with you and it shall come to pass that the man's Rod whom I shall choose shall Blossom and I will make to cre to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel whereby they murmur against you Moses spake unto the children of Israel every one of their princes gave him a rod of Peace listen to this for each Prince one according to their father's houses even 12 rods the rod of Aaron was among their rods Moses laid up the rods before the Lord in the Tabernacle of witness came to pass that on the tomorrow Moses went into the Tabernacle of witness and behold the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded and brought forth Buds and bloomed blossoms and yielded almonds Moses brought out all of the rods from before the Lord unto the children of Israel and they looked and took every man his Rod listen to this and the Lord said unto Moses bring Aaron's Rod again before the testimony to be kept for a token against the rebels Thou shalt quiet take away their murmurings from me that they die not Moses did so and the Lord as the Lord commanded him so did he and the children of Israel spake unto Moses saying behold listen to what they said we die we perish we all perish whosoever cometh anything near unto the Tabernacle of the Lord shall die shall we be consumed with dying the rod of Aaron was the only one that had grown and produced flowers and almonds even though it was not planted stay with me God was demonstrating to the people that the power of God is working through the rod that was not planted God's plan God's way God gave to the people the understanding of the times and in the midst of the confusion God showed up and demonstrated that his plan still works when you look deeper into the process of time you will see that the translations of the actions of God at that moment was needed at that moment the most But Here We Stand 2024 and the writers of the old account listen to this use the words the budding Rod of Aaron the rod was enlivened and what we see is that the word en liven today which any of us can use at any time if we really understood it it we can better apply this concept though en liven is the same word that we use today called Revival

and what we need right now in our nation more than ever before is a Revival hold on to me somebody I believe that in our nation that rebirth has to happen and the true real meaning of what God has in store for the church is the body of believers that will say I am tired of the questions and the concerns and the confusion I believe that we are living in the most important hour that we have ever lived in but to simply be called the church is not sufficient for the church but you must have a desire to say uh there has got to be a rebirthing an enlivening of the power and the spirit of God in the church uh I believe today that we all want Revival but I've come to tell you friend uh it is more than a a religious tendency it is more than simply an idea but it has to demonstrate that if God is not in control then you are serving the wrong God uh I've come to declare to this congregation and to the world around us we are in need of Revival but it is not simply going to be uh when we get our act together it's not simply going to be uh when we get to a place that God can speak uh we understand by the old law that if my people if my people will understand uh and recognize the fact uh it is his church uh it is his body of Believers it is right with God uh his church is the church uh you can't run around looking for something better I'm come to tell you in this hour God is not going to create uh a new church uh to Simply tickle our fancy but he has already demonstrated to us uh in the Ark of the Covenant uh I'm going to tell you who I am H I am the law of the stones uh I am the Mana that will keep you but I'm also the buding rod that will show you uh New Birth can happen I'm ready for Revival I'm tired of the mess we're living in is there a church that will declare in Chattanooga fill us oh God and give us what we need for this hour a Revival I want to meet with you and I will do it with Mercy says the Old Law I will reside between the cherubims says the Old Law and the covering will simply cover his provision his law and his Revival if you are in the church today need to understand something it's bigger than four walls sorry three walls it's bigger than any idea it's bigger than any concept it's bigger than anything that I could ever understand but if we truly want Revival in this hour then we have to seek the truth of the word of God listen and not the truth of what the world says the word of God Is Right let us live subject to him no other name given among men whereby you must be saved but it is Jesus salvation by no other way it is still repentance it is still turning away from your sin it is still making a cognizant decision that says I'm going to believe in Jesus and I'm no longer going to follow the falseness of this world I'm not going to be deceived by 12 other rods or 11 other rods but I'm looking for the the one that's budding uh that's going to bring Revival to me listen to me it is still the in holy the Holy Ghost infilling uh and it is still uh in the name of Jesus being buried and understanding uh that the spirit of God is working uh you can say it if you want to the church has no place in today's society I've come to tell you today uh you can call him the unknown God but I call him a Revival God he's got life for you uh he's got hope for your situation he knows absolutely Where You Are right now and he simply stands With Arms Wide Open to declare this is the day that the Lord has made David said it I will rejoice and be glad in it why because what I want is the life of God demonstrated in me now I realize I know I'm not the oldest in this room but I sure act like it this as long as I can remember brother George this is this is what I am was and is and are anybody else huh as a kid now I know I give a whole lot of these stories because they're mine they're not yours get your own stories

as a kid I slept on the Pew well we had didn't have chair we got pews anybody remember pews great big old wooden squeaky pews we got padded pews in our new building at the church House part of as a kid and boy we just that was good sleeping but then they sit on you sister Mandy so we had to go under the Pew huh cuz the first church I was a part of when I was 10 10 years old those those benches were what this long T is that about right made out of one by painted blue and there's like 20 of them in this little room and you sit down and go cuz they were unstable being they didn't they didn't legs didn't match so to get in trouble as a kid you just simp to go the pastor go okay stay with me stay with me stay with me that's what I came in that's how I got here I remember tent meetings before that I remember going to the tent sister you been one of them hot hot six light bulbs a guitar and 14 accordion come on Don hang on to me tambourines by the Dozen and an occasional Bano show up come on church was had come on Brother Sam about took us back there this last week on a Wednesday night I man he got all up here with these old a even walk we you hold them man I those songs I was born Dawn huh let me tell you something let me tell you that's what I learned I didn't know no better I didn't recognize things I was just just a kid growing up I remember when we got drums in church but T wouldn't let it what you know you a put them loud devil things in my church what he said D Tim huh I in here you got a face like that you I don't want them in here so finally after a whole bunch of coaxing and lots of whining and complaining he said I tell you what bring them in here just don't play them so there's this little five piece kit sitting there drawn people walk by and go wonder what those are for I don't know Devil's mic Devil's music stay away from them run and they a let Brother Scott play this a guy in the church and brother Scotty was the G gentleman of gentleman and God you can play if I better not hear him am I telling the truth so BR got am I right things began to move my job as a kid was to pick bobby pins up off the floor we count them I'd win a lot of times because I'd take them from my brother listen to me Pastor you're you're waxing old yeah you better believe it you want to know why because there was a time when an old man that I knew as my pastor went before God and said the only thing I know to do is have Revival how you going to do that brother tick I need the I need the rod that buds I need it that's going to show life even though it's not planted and buried in 2000 whatever 19 whatever I'm going to believe that it's going to show life and bring Revival to us and he fought for it I watched that man come to a platform and in the name of Jesus rebuke devils and green spew would come out of people's mouths on the carpet never could get the stains off the floor I watched that man with his empyema he'd barely be able to move and he'd get a hold of somebody the name of Jesus I rebuke you devil in Jesus name and I'd hear those Devils scream and fly am I telling the truth am I lying this right here no run out the door G and brother now worship and he turned around and and I'm as a child I was so simply fearful of him because I understood that if God showed up and the budding Rod began to demonstrate the flower of life that that man is the one that said it's because thus says the word of the Lord and as a kid growing up I was very very respectful in honoring the man of God afraid to death to confront him or to even say something to him he'd come by and my hair get a little long y'all believe it yeah it get a little long right there he didn't say a word to me he he' this is no well maybe it is he'd walk by and he'd go and he'd walk away and I knew at that moment what Monday was about to hold for me brother Dylan I was getting a haircut cuz if that man told me that my hair was too long I remember one time he told me you listen if the word of God said be baptized in peanut butter you better buy every bit of it and get in it listen to me that's that's how I and I learned then at that point that when my grandmother or when my great aunt or when my uncle AEL or when my uncle Fred would get up there with his orange hunting socks on and play guitar and he'd do like this he was you won't ever believe what they're singing ready I fly oh y'all know that one but see if we sing it today it's got to be a if it not then we're all here like it's all messed up that ain't riot at all yeah brother D my Riot he's stand up here trying to last I was so proud of him Wednesday night can't even walk oh Lord I I want to open my mouth what what I'm going playing what I'm going play and he did it thank you brother D Listen to listen to me I'm going somewhere where with this

I want Revival but in order for me to have Revival like the old-timers had Revival the church is blowing up people are crazy cancers are falling off things are happening reports x-rays are showing up with broken arms and the next day of the night ain't broken or all these things are happening and things are going on in my mind I'm like God where did it go and right now in our culture and our society we hear me hear me we not you not me but we have allowed and permitted this world to say you know what where is your god he's not there he's not here where he I don't understand he's not showing up anywhere and all you're doing is going to church on a Sunday and on a Wednesday and you declare that that's the power of God and in the church house there's bickering and backbiting and where comes Wars amongst you but lord it's no surprise that we are living right now one of the most confused states that our nation's ever been in but I am so thrilled to the fact that in the waters of baptism these last couple of weeks these little guys are saying this what I want I don't understand it I don't comprehend it not sure how it's going I don't know nothing about birthing no babies but what I do know is this that at an altar I can find Salvation and therefore when I baptize one of these little ones I'm believing that God's going to raise up a generation that's simply going to say I'm not sure why I'm here here but I'm believing God for some great things uh I don't have any power but such as I have I'm going to give it to them in the name of Jesus rise up and walk it's not going to come from some old fdy duddy that's trying to Simply understand the church and make religion their religion uh but instead uh I'm convinced it's going to be a snotty no little kids saying you know what I don't know why it's happened like this but I believe in the name of Jesus uh there is healing uh there's restoration uh there is Glory uh in the presence of God uh I've come to tell somebody we want Revival it's going to cost you uh but God has already shown us H the rod of Aon will bring life Revival

brother drawn would you come now I know y'all stand with me it's okay we'll stand for a while listen to me carefully I know I'm working on this message I'm like Lord Revival and man I come up with all these cool modern terms sorry to M your hair bu these cool modern terms there's going to be a Revival in the land you may remember that from the north see we sing those songs and we're all had lady in our church she was terrible at it but boy she could flip that here listen to me listen to me if we are ever going to survive this day and thrive in the name of Jesus it has got to come through refreshing of the provision of God Amen now I need y'all to listen to Pastor I am not prophesying negative I'm not prophesying Dooms or glooms or none of that I'm simply telling you this

some of you are going to go through radical change in your life when you start praying a radical prayer and you're going to decide y'all Mom and Dad y'all listen to preacher a moment just a moment it's 1:30 we're okay some of you parents are trying everything you can do to make your child prepared ready for college to go and be better better prepared yes I I agree they need School some may say yes they do say it young people don't you don't you look at P Pastor saying I don't have to guess you do but more than that education they better understand the things of God let me tell you how important it is our world has already demonstrated anybody here in college raise your hand come on lift it up don't be embarrassed with it we're okay you got a loan it's okay do you have to go to class to take take your classes you go to class you go to class ain't it amazing now you don't have to go to class to go to class you don't have to prepare yourself you can simply just show up online and click the button and you get to hear so calculus 107 X2 + 4 6 100 can you ask questions online how do you ask them oh emails oh a nothing like sitting in a classroom come on all you homeschoolers are going to say what public school that with me that with me I have a question why just a what going that and everybody in Classico you are so dumb huh am I right brother Andy huh and I'm sitting there going I don't know nothing but this is what lesson I learned in that atmosphere I better know something before I do this hold on to me hold on to me well you're they're judging and they're mean no no that's called Humanity come on come on my old Pastor used to say you better root hog or die you better learn how to get in there and survive listen to me but what's happened in our current culture is Everything's changed and so to have Revival I'll ask you is there is there a is there a formula x + y^2 minus uh no spread she anybody come on anybody at all have the answer uh for those of you online please email it to us we'd love to have it there is not one that's why that on the mission field when they don't have two dimes to rub together God shows up and takes cancer away and heals them and restores and raises the dead on a mission field that they shouldn't have anything and yet God moves in on behalf of them come on my wife and I I told y all this story went and pray the lady had a baby the baby said the kidneys are one of them's growing one of them's not missionary will you pray okay man I don't I just mind saying my wife didn't reach down to her bag and pull out this big gong Bo oh mighty God Mighty God oh none of that Lord honor this Mother's Faith to believe you for it anything thing we can do but God you can in Jesus name thank you missionary thank you couple days later phone hey Sis hey I wanted you to know took the baby back to the doctor for followup both kidneys are the same size don't know what happened not sure what how well she thought you know God does that standing in a conference of thousands and I'm doing my part that was asked of me and I turn and I see this guy blowing up literally blowing up screaming hands are high he's just as as loud as it could be louder than there's six seven thousand people in this room and he's just boom and I'm standing there doing my I'm looking over what is going on this God I'm trying to pay attention and do my what's been asked of me what is wrong with this guy over here and he's just hey what's this guy's deal oh that guy he came in here today with no eyeballs in his sockets look at him you don't tell me I don't do something that's my testimony any here anybody ever seen that I'm going to challenge some of you young folk you need to get up where the the rod of Aaron is budding and say Lord revive us I am so tired of my great grandparents testimonies I want one of my own all right all right I want to know what it's like for the anointing of the Lord to come in like a flood and pound me to the ground uh and then sweep over me uh and not allow me up off the floor I want to know what it's like to get under the carpet and try to Simply breathe as the power of God walks in around me uh oh God I want to know what it's like to say uh in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and all of Heaven to shake uh and to rumble as the dead are raised oh come on is anybody interested in Revival it's going to come because we are hungry for the truth of God's word it is 136

is there anybody in here that'll say God I am so tired of the game I am Ready For Truth uh would you come running through an altar today uh and simply cry out to God uh I want Revival uh in my home in my heart in my family in my church house in my church family oh come on is there anybody that'll say I want my children to know the power of a risen savior I want my Sunday school class to understand the power of the word of God oh come on somebody it's prayer time come on it's prayer time repentance baptism in the name of Jesus the infilling of the Holy Ghost it is still right and it's still real oh come on somebody right now you are dealing with stress and strain and you're trying your best to understand what is next in the kingdom and you're trying to push forward but the chaos and the confusion of our day has binded you come on into his presence Lord you made provision you gave me law but you've also God promised me life Jesus I want Revival en liven us en liven us today oh come on en liven us today Jesus enen us today Jesus breathe into us Lord an expectancy God that's bigger than ourselves oh come on Mom and Dad you need to be praying for it interceding for it for your children God let them see Revival let them see the miraculous Lord let them see the supernatural become natural Lord I pray ready that's right that's right that's right come on press through go on into his presence if you need to repent of your sins you've been messing up ask God to cleanse and wash you right now that the power of the blood of Jesus work in your life right now that's right come on in the name of Jesus I believe you Lord for Revival I believe you Lord for Revival oh come on that's try press through it press through it press through it I'll keep there is Revival God I'll keep intering it is bigger than us lord it's done it begins with you god it comes from you God it flows from you ready it flows from you Jesus our God ready the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus hallelujah oh that's right that's right that's right there is truth in the word there is truth in the word I will keep praying there is truth in the word of God until it to Every Nation yes Jesus I'll keeping until it's done oh come on somebody are you hungry for a move of God come on the church is bigger than you it's bigger than me pour it out all around the all around the world right now the questions of concerns the chaos can be answered with the name of Jesus the blood of Jesus applied Jesus enliven us oh God again en liveen US Lord again breathe breath into US revive us Jesus revive us holy ghost P oh come on that's right Revival oh word of God speak into US Lord speak into US Lord Jesus Jesus Jesus hey yeah Jesus Jesus Jesus hallelujah oh God my God
