Stand in the Gap

would you pray with me everybody Lord today we love you and we thank you for the opportunity once again to come into the house of the Lord to gather in the presence of people of like Precious faith thank you Lord for moving in our hearts and our lives thank you Jesus for establishing Lord our our footsteps today in order God loving and worshiping you we have prayed today God we have sung songs today Lord we have spoken of your goodness in your mercy and today we desire the word of God to speak to our lives and our hearts in the name of Jesus Lift us up Lord I pray speak hope and Truth into the hearts and lives of us today God those online watching Lord speak into their situations wherever they are in the name of Jesus thy kingdom come Lord thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven we love you we trust you for that order today God and we claim it in the name of Jesus come on would you spend 30 seconds loving the Lord come on lift your voice to the Lord lift your voice to the Lord right now I love you I bless your name I magnify your name Jesus I glorify your name sweet savior there is no one like you God none to compare to you in the name of Jesus come on somebody help me love students workers audio video streaming water putter routers parking lot make servers all of that stuff there's so much to be done and you guys do such an excellent job turn to your neighbor say thank you give them a high five come on God's doing it tell somebody God's doing it come on God's using you to do it thank you Jesus thank you Lord you can be seated if you feel like you have to oh Lamb of God Jesus every generation has its moments moments of credible things events people Nations cultures societies things happen and they they shape us who we are we we realize that we didn't just get here turn to your neighbor and say you weren't number one we all can remember things that happened in our lifetimes now some of us of course weren't around at some of these but in August of 1920 the 19th amendment was instituted it's allowed women to vote in the United States of America July of 1925 in Dayton Tennessee was a Scopes Monkey Trial that shaped Evolution's teaching in the United States of America October of 1929 the stock market crashed May of 1940 McDonald's restaurants was established May of 19 and 48 the nation of Israel began its roots there October of 1962 was the Cuban Missile Crisis July of 1969 the United States of America landed on the moon's surface January 1983 the internet was born July of 1994 Amazon was established September of 2001 the World Trade Center was attacked by terrorists and probably some of you may remember this January of 2007 was the birth of the iPhone now of course there's a lot of other dates that have shaped the American way of life and in doing so it has shaped the other parts of the world each one of these events and of course again there's more but each one that I have mentioned to you today they they have countless details and possibilities that that you could look into of how those dates and why they're so important or what happened on those particular moments of time suffice it to say there were so many failures and so many other successes and so many other failures that came and brought these inventions and these ideas into reality nothing though we understand in 2023 everybody say this with me nothing stays the same we know that once things begin to become popular that they then are simply built upon and changes are there and they're trying to make them better and they're trying to make them faster and trying to make them more qualified and and some things have to have a birth point before they begin again that that 2007 iPhone establishment some of y'all just thought iPhones came on the ark but that's not true somebody had to make the phone before the famous app was made that's right CAC didn't make the first app the the emerging of the internet 19 19 and 83 that that basically would bring us to where we are today in 2023 and my oh my how the times have changed has anybody here not ever been on the internet there are four three two-year-olds in here that understand the buttons on an iPhone I don't mind saying if we have an issue my wife and I at our house with the phone because they're crazy who do we call not Ghostbusters but thank you for asking we call Sam Sam how do you fix this and Sam mutes the phone brother Tim and says to his wife it's them again then unmutes it and helps us with it the fact of the matter listen carefully as much information that is on your fingertips right now you do not have a lifetime to memorize all of that so you depend on the technology that has been invented and put into place so here we are today with as much as we know and as as much as we have access to with all the Avenues in the corners of the world that we can draw data from we are still interested in the unknown we are interested in what we do not know in fact this culture to this Society this age group and where we are now they love to know things they want they want to understand things and so here we are in this generation we're always searching to understand better and to have a better grasp on things the easier the faster the brighter the longer the bigger the smaller the stronger whatever it happens to be all of these desires hear this they are part of human nature that's how the moon was first landed on that's how the internet was first established that's how oceans cross the ocean blue because there was something out there and people began to want to do it and go there not even taking into account the dangers and possibly the death that would await them listen to me Paul wrote a letter in the New Testament second Timothy chapter 3 verse 1 this no also that in the last days perilous times shall come everybody say dangerous in the last days dangerous times shall come listen to this for men shall be lovers of their own selves Covetous boasters proud blasphemers disobedient to parents unthankful Unholy without natural affection truce Breakers false accusers incontinent Fierce despisers of those that are good traitors heady high-minded lovers of Pleasures more than lovers of God having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof from such turn away verse 6 as is for of this sort are they which creep into houses and Lead captive silly women Laden with sins LED away with divers lust listen ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth the last days the dangerous days perilous times notice that in this powerful overview of man's desires notice where it leads them men will love themselves men will covet what they do not have they will boast about themselves they will be proud of their accomplishments and they will blaspheme the God of all creation they will disobey parents and elderly they will not be thankful they will be Unholy and not godly they will change the affection from Nature's desires to man's desire they will not be men of their word they will lie about others they will lack self-control they'll be mean and they'll be angry they'll work against the ones who are trying to do good they'll be disloyal to what is created correct they will be violent and harsh always knowing things but harsh against them they will think of themselves highly they will love pleasure more than they love God and a men will appear to be holy but they will deny the power that is therein what Paul was telling the young preacher is this those things are going to happen to man but from such things turn away from it listen to me carefully the reason that Paul writes this to the young preacher is to give him an understanding that things will change in the family of God life will happen and as time passes the Journey of life will unfold and the events that shape our world will begin to grow more and more and more they will want to have knowledge but they won't want to understand the truth of that it is from almighty God that those things came they'll be smart in their mind they'll lift themselves up and leave God out of the picture all together why because they will measure their success upon themselves instead of God's success The Giver of Life they're always going to be looking for more they're always going to be wanting for more why is that well Ecclesiastes the smart guy said it this way in Ecclesiastes one and four one generation passeth the way another generation cometh but the Earth abideth forever The Sun Also ariseth and the sun goeth down and hastes to its place where he arose the wind goeth forward toward the South and turneth about to the North in world is about continually and the wind returneth again according to it sir his circuits all the rivers run into the sea yet the sea is not full under the place from hence the rivers come hither they return again all things are full of Labor man cannot utter it the eye is not satisfied with seeing nor the ear filled with hearing the thing that hath been it is that which shall be and that which is done is that which shall be done there is no new theme Under the Sun listen to the wise man as he wrote it all the systems of humanity all the things that work hand in hand from one generation to another there is no new thing under the heavens some of you may then say why is it that previous generations didn't have the internet I didn't say there wouldn't be new things there won't be new mannerisms and ways but the knowledge and the humanity and the connection between the God of all creation and humanity is the same listen to me you can have the million dollar computer in your home but when it comes down to it you're going to want and desire affection of somebody else beside you there are Basic Instincts of humanity that God put within each one of us and whether you're driving a 1995 Buick LeSabre or a 2023 Ford truck it is still the desire to get from point A to point B what am I telling you that God put it within Humanity to live and to live life fully according to him stay with me stay with me let us look at something in history the Bible gives us a story of a group of people called the children of Israel Stay With Me God's chosen people on planet Earth all of that was because God desired to have a covenant between him and man so God found his man Abram this would be the guy that would establish the nations would be the one that his his lineage would be numbered as the sand on a seashore the stars of the heaven and God desired this group of men women and children who that he would call his own thy will be to them a God and they will be to me a people the saying for an example in our culture is aren't we all God's children it's not actually true we all are created by the God of all of creation but to be called one of God's the only way that he will know you is because of the name Stay With Me knowing that God desires to have a covenant with man he lets us to know and understand his ways his instructions how that we need to entertain in one another and how that we need to interact with God himself God gave a precise set of laws and requirements to his people and if they would simply follow the 600 plus points of the law the words that God gave to them then he would be their God and no one on all of planet Earth could deny the fact that God calls them the chosen people they would simply have to follow him all of the world would know it by the way they act by their language by their culture by their Creeds by their their customs and their courtesies why because it was God's way of saying to all of humanity I am God you are not but if you're called My Chosen I will be with you listen details about all the things that the children of Israel went went through went through we can forget about those we may not even have access to that information we can read about it in the word of God but suffice it to say there's not enough space in one book to put all the things that God interacted and talked with with his children history of course does establish some things we have the word of God that we can go to but history cannot tell the whole story Prophets they were placed in the midst of God's people because there would be a need for a voice about the future scribes were put in amongst God's people to write what was done but then prophets were established judges were put into place to make sure that they would follow the law but prophets were put on the planet in the midst of God's people so that God could speak listen to this to the people of God to the children of God and he could say to them this is what's going to happen therefore the children of God would say this is what has happened this is what is happening because we're being judged by it but the future if we ever lose sight of what will come we will lose sight of God's promise to us that's why when you come into an Apostolic Church service in 2023 we're worshiping and loving God why because there's a future with God mistakes are made yes misleading steps happen sure they did as we have discovered history establishes things but not all of history is good amen prophets were placed on the earth so that there would be a voice connecting the promises made to the possibilities of the future to come one of these prophets his name was Ezekiel he was known as the weeping prophet not simply because he had a hanky in his hand all the time wiping tears but Ezekiel according to history was one that interceded with God and see God your people falling apart God they're they're sinning they're they're running away from you they're not holding on to the promises they're not holding on to the principles they're not they're not grabbing a hold of them instead God they're running from you they're they're they're denying all these things and Ezekiel if you'll read through his book in the scriptures you'll find out there's a lot of lamenting that went on with him but help me today for one moment I want to take you to the latter part of Ezekiel chapter number 20 came to pass the seventh year the fifth month 10th day of the month that certain of the Elders of Israel came to inquire of the Lord and sat before me then came the word of the Lord unto me saying son of man speak unto the Elders of Israel and say to them thus saith the Lord God or you come to inquire of me as I live saith the Lord God listen I will not be inquired of you this is God's children chosen people that come to the prophet to ask for direction for the future and as they sat there these Elders of Israel and they they began to raise their hand maybe they begin to try to inquire tell us Ezekiel what is the future tell us Ezekiel is this to happen or is that to happen tell us what we need to look for give us some indication why because times are very challenging in this generation Ezekiel would you give us an ear and let the Lord speak through you to us the word of the Lord comes and says I will not be inquired by you translation I don't want to hear from you God uses this prophet to expose what has been going on amongst the promised people of God the promises and the blessings of God to his people were being looked at in a way that were contrary to what God had desired for his Folk so Ezekiel lays out all of these offenses if you continue through the latter part here of Ezekiel 20 into 21 he begins to speak to the people and he says this is what you have done the chosen people of God you are walking away from him you are not dealing with yourselves at one point of reference here give me just a moment to explain to you what had happened to them is they were beginning to deny that God was truly their God and they were beginning as the children of Israel did multiple times through history as they would love and serve and do all that God required but then a king would come up or a ruler would come about and they would begin to deny the powers of God and things would begin to happen in the hand of the enemy would come in and Destroy them and cast them about in this particular point of reference hear what I'm saying today somebody in the history books of time we can read here how that when you come and you inquire of God speak to us that he is not obligated to respond and so Ezekiel says give me a moment children of Israel and as he begins to look at them he tells them he says you've got this going on and you've got that that's happening and in the face of the enemy you're running this way and you're running that way instead of talking about the god Jehovah you're out there talking about Baal and all the other things that can be presented to you as Humanity I've come today to talk to you about a little situation that happened in that particular story allow me to paint a picture this way if you were to build a fence or a border around something that you love and something that you would like to keep something that you desire to be sealed and not to be affected by the things of Outsider enemy to come in or things from the inside to seep out into the outside then you would have to put a fence around it much like if you have a precious little doggie that you like and you don't want little doggy to get out what do you put around your yard invariably that dog is now going to go into the yard and what's he going to do with that fence he's going to inspect it in fact if it's a male dog he'll Mark every part of it it's the nature of what the dog does it is what they do if they find a hole in the fence what do they do most likely why did they climb through it don't they have a 99 that is offense but there is something natural in that mind in that situation with that dog that if there's a hole if there's something that's not there and it should be there they stick their little nose in it how many has ever had that happen yeah I had a dog when my wife and I first married we had a pair of them one dug out under the fence I put him back and there was two there was Brothers we pulled in from church one night I look up and one of them is sitting at the fence like this patiently and the other one's not to be seen so I walk in the backyard and buckwheat was his name because of his color he's sitting there and he's looking at me and he's looking out the fence true to form buckwheat had a brother herb and his name was Bubba because he looked like a Bubba and bubble was nowhere to be found no he's nowhere to be found I'm looking around it's nine o'clock at night I'm whistling for him buckwheat's still standing here looking at me and looking out the fence now once I figured out what had transpired I looked down at the base of the fence and what did I notice but a hole in the fence young buckwheat had decided or Young buckwheat's Brother Bubba had decided he would like it outside more than inside and so he dug out from under the fence so guess what I went and did cover the whole no I didn't I didn't because I saw buckwheat sitting there evidently this dog learned a lesson because when he's looking out the fence at the road guess what was laying in the middle of the road yes and doggy's sitting there looking out there looking at me and I'm looking down at him saying you didn't want to go and it's as if brother Robbie's looking at me saying do you see what happened I'm staying in here so I went and gathered up little guy on the road put him away and buckwheat was the best dog we've ever had in our lives he's the one that would fetch would Shake would roll over would do I mean he's the coolest thing man but he was so much fun to have around because he learned crawling out from under the fence it's not a smart thing to do and he learned it in a very difficult lesson somebody go oh when when you've got something you want to protect you put a fence around you put a gate around it you establish the walls around it why you understand that if you will protect what is yours then getting out is not a good thing getting in is a worst thing if you have a loaf of bread and you bought it at the store for 110 dollars because bread is expensive now and you bring it home and you get two slices out what do you do with the remainder of the loaf you do what you tie it off why because all of your Treasures should be protected no you you tie it off so air doesn't get into it and do what to the bread has anybody ever left a cup of sugar out on the counter in this human Chattanooga weather what will invariably happen it'll get all solid hard and the ants have nowhere to go when they climb on top of it so you put the sugar inside an airtight container nobody understand what I'm saying there's some stuff you don't want in and there's some stuff you want to keep out that's the nature of it hang on to Pastor for a minute why because we understand that if there's something in the Border in the guarding in the protection in the plastic in the Tupperware in the plastic where oh wait I'm sorry it's Chattanooga in the old used butter bowl come on you got a stack of them in your fridge right stay with me that something bad is going to happen to that thing you if you're going to put up a wall around something you better make sure that it's established and it has a way to keep things in and keep things out so that point of view allow me to move on when we understand that when the people of God come to him they're looking at the past and they're recognizing that things are happening in the people of God and they understand that in all the bad the junk the garbage the things that are out there that somebody has allowed things to get out and to get in therefore it's time to inquire of God therefore the successes and the failures of the past God begins to reveal the error of their ways Look What God Says further along in Ezekiel 22. verse 23 the word of the Lord came unto me saying son of man say unto her Thou Art the land which is not cleansed nor reigned upon in the day of indignation there is conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof like a roaring lion ravening the prey they have devoured Souls they have taken the treasure and precious things they have made her many windows in the midst thereof her priests have violated my law have profaned mine holy things they have put no difference between the holy and the profane neither have they shoot differences between the unclean and the clean and have hid their eyes from my Sabbath and I am profaned among them 27 her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey to shed blood and to destroy souls and to get dishonest gain 28 and her prophets have dubbed them with untempered mortar seeing vanity and divining lies unto them saying thus saith the Lord God when the Lord hath not spoken the people of the land have used oppression and exercise robbery and have vexed the poor and maybe yea they have oppressed The Stranger wrongfully verse 30 says and I sought for a man among them that shouldn't make up the Hedge and stand in the gap before me for the land that I should not destroy it but I found none God said I look for somebody that was willing to stand in the gaps in the breaches if you will in the openings of the gate in the places that were opened up that people were going in and coming out listen carefully to the preacher God was not worried hear this about the enemy and what the enemy was going to do when they got through or when they got in and then they started doing things in the camp Noah but this is what God said I was going to come in there I was going to destroy everything behind the wall I was coming in to wreak havoc because of your lying and your sin and your debauchery and the stuff that you're doing contrary to me but the God of all creation said unto the voice of God to them this thing I looked for a man that would stand in that Gap to keep me from coming and destroying my people but I couldn't find anybody it was not the enemy it was God who saw their sinfulness and the desires of their heart to not follow the precepts and concepts of God and God said I'm coming in but I've got grace and mercy if you will I've got a way that I'm going to give them an opportunity listen the Old Testament times Grace was never heard of it was the law you either followed it or you died God is in the Old Testament days with the prophet Ezekiel establishing something here he is saying I'm coming in because you're not doing what I'm telling you to do and I'm looking for somebody that'll stand in that Gap and simply say to me I know there's a space between here and there I realize that we have not done it all right I recognize that sin has somehow come in I know that somehow worshiping other Idols other gods other things has overtaken Us in here but one thing is sure God of all creation would you stay back and not come through this Gap in the wall I don't want you to destroy the church I don't want you to destroy my children I've come on 2023 on a Sunday to declare to somebody in this house God is looking for somebody that'll stand up and say we know the judgments of God are going to come and wreak havoc on the people of God oh but no I wish somebody would declare I stand in the Gap you're not coming in here God I'm pleading the blood I'm praying against it I'm standing firm my children are in this church my grandbabies are in the church soon to be my family's in this church don't come in and destroy the chosen of God thank you in 2023 God is so gracious to the church God is so good to the family of God and you and I listen to your preacher right now we run to we look for we scream for Grace and mercy to work God have Grace and mercy work in my life why because we realize listen to me that the wages of sin is death our world is full of the blabbing and grab it if you will the one saved always saved listen to me the ones that would say you know what I can sin on Friday and by Sunday I'm okay God is standing with judgment you listen to me friend it is the word of God that is keeping your life together it is what's keeping your family together but if you never use the word of God why would you expect the foundation to do its job in your life huh listen to Pastor for a minute huh I could feel some of y'all's pain because of the battles you're faced with at home and on your job and in your health and in your Finance I can feel the struggle that you try you're trying to understand you're trying to live victorious in this day you're trying to come to church and look right and play the part and even lift your hands occasionally and speak in tongues if you can all the while when you walk past the doors into the parking lot your life is full of mess and mess ups and he hinged upon the terrible things that our decisions and our mind puts us to and we wonder sometimes why is the church not coming through for me why is it why don't I feel victory in the church come on some of y'all know exactly what I'm saying you come through the doors and walk in here you are so exhausted from the Battle of the week because you can't understand the fact that something is no longer standing firm around you but instead the enemy has come in the enemy has gone out but also God is coming in and because you're denying him he's standing there saying I want to bless you but I can kill you I can wipe you out but we turn to run to grace and mercy some of us can't live Victorious lives because there's so many gaps in the wall around your life around your mind around your children around your job around your finances God's sitting there saying I don't have to worry the enemy is there he's causing chaos and he's wreaking all kinds of things why you better pray somebody will get in the Gap because if I come in there I'm going to set you in order you're looking at the preacher to save your life I cannot do it I don't have your answer I don't know how many times you got to pray a prayer I'm not sure how many times you got to say a Hail Mary full of I don't know I don't know none of that stuff what I do know is simply this there's one reason Durant I'm in my right mind sometimes and that's because I've been under the blood and the blood of Jesus stood up and said I will fill in the gap and when I didn't know what to do and I couldn't pray and I couldn't scream to God loud enough the one thing I could do is plead the blood of Jesus and the blood begin to work foreign prayer time I pray and ask God for strength and courage to fill in the gap because my wife's battles my children's battles the ones that I'm connected to the closest I'm not sure what to expect sometimes I don't know if God's trying to work something in my wife or me or in my son or my daughter or my son-in-law daughter-in-law I don't know what God's doing all I know is this something doesn't feel right but I can't go to heaven on my feelings I can't walk in victory over my emotion I have to be able to say in the face of all obstruction in all opposition and all the trials and tests of life I've got to be able to stand and say your grace is sufficient for me and when there's a gap in the gate and when there's a walled City that I've put around things and a hedge that I've built around things if something happens and my prayer life suffers or my giving suffers or I begin to murmur against the preacher I begin to murmur against the preacher's wife or I begin to tell lies that's not true or I begin to think of myself more hot haughty and high-minded when the fruit of man when the things of man begin to show themselves not in the world but in the church boastful haters incontinent revelings the partyings hear me the things that happen in the world we Face In Our Generation those same activities can happen in the church behind the wall pastor we don't party at church sure you do sure you do is anybody here I've been blessed come on lift your hand don't be afraid of it lift a hand who did that blessing come from who tell me remind me all of a sudden you had a need God blesses and you know it comes from him all right and then what is the next activity you do the next action you do God was good god oh yeah okay until the next disaster happens until the next catastrophe unfolds you'll declare the goodness of God because you saw his Blessing but what if his Blessing didn't come to you tomorrow would you still get up and say though he slay me yet I will trust him there's a hedge around there right there's a wall right there's there's a separation here come on some of y'all consider separation to be bondage and all that God rebuked that right now what separation is is that's a hedge that God puts there listen to me if they were sin in your life God had every right to come in and snuff your life out by the sin but instead when things happen and you've got separation happening there it gives God the right and the privilege to say to any worker in darkness look this has been separated unto me and I could stop their life before you'll ever be able to but there's a hedge there there's a hedge there there's a wall there there's a protection there now you and I are God help me to stay on you and I are living in Victory loving God God's goodness and Grace is working in our lives and we're standing inside the walls part but then we begin to walk away from God we stop praying as we stop believing God we stop doing what we know the scripture tells us to do we stop rejoicing in the lord always and again I say rejoice we stop praying without ceasing we stop giving thanks unto the Lord we declare our troubles and our woes more than who God is and through that the enemy's standing there perched over the wall looking in simply saying if he'll give me a moment I'll come marching in and sure enough invariably the prayer requests will go out pray for me I'm struggling this week's been a hard week There's been this has been that next thing you know as you begin to let loose of your prayer life depending on someone else's prayer life you begin to let loose of your standard hear me and points of separation and now you're pointing at others look they think they're better than me because they dress that way they look that way don't think I'm lying I know exactly what I'm talking about and then all of this begins to happen and these breaks begin to happen in the wall and these cracks begin to show up in the wall and you're coming to church on Sunday wondering why all this chaos is going on I've come to tell you God is drawn to that sin to deal with it but instead of coming in and dealing with it he said I have made intercession and that intercession comes through Jesus Christ he is the one who will stand in the Gap and simply say you deserve to die because of your disappointment and sin and your things that you're doing and the stuff you're doing contrary to God God has every right to come in but if you'll get Jesus alive in your world holding on to you he becomes the intercessor the breach maker upper the Gap seller in her and he will say you're not coming in to destroy this family you're not coming in to mess up this family judgment's not going to happen here today why because I get up in the morning and the first name I mention is Jesus At The Midnight Hour the last name I mentioned is Jesus I talk about him when I'm rising up I think about him throughout the day I plead his blood over every situation why because I need somebody in the gap come on brother drawn stand with me listen Pastor Carefree please I wish that I could tell you serving the lord is all unicorns and rainbows well I've never seen a unicorn I don't know where the rainbow begins or ends I can tell you this living for God it's worth it and now more than ever before in this Society in this culture you need somebody to stand in the gap listen to me I went through some historical things early on in the messaging and we all identified man those things changed life when the internet came out changed everything the Civil Rights Movement changed everything the attack on on 9 11 on the towers changed everything see how those events change things yeah this is a ripple it goes Calvary changed everything I've come today to declare to somebody in this room the battles the fighting all the discouragement all the trials all the stuff that you're facing is because of decisions you've made to satisfy your flesh instead of God and you put a gap in the wall you put a gap in the wall as often as I can again I I got my mess ups I got my hangout I got all my issues I'm come on y'all don't need to know what they are they're under the blood hear me same as yours but as often as I can sister Stacy when my bride walks out the door to go to work she's climbing in her car 100 miles an hour going because she's running trying to get her ask her baby prayed for you today I have to thank you and I shut the door brother Rob and I said Lord better make it twice she's in a hurry does that mean anything you know who's listening her and the enemy and the Lord God because I know it takes an angel to be with her on her way to the work dude hanging on oh God is with it I need some help today I text my kids every once in a while baby I prayed for you today I love you you know what I'm doing I'm letting the Gap fill her in her I don't know what kind of day they're having but I ain't about to let the gaps there because there will come a time when somebody will have to give an account for what's going on in the wall God says it like why because of the gaps the gaps husbands dads men can I ask you a question today I felt this so strong in my office this morning is there any of you that were willing to stand in the gap for your family with Jesus would you come to this altar man I'm asking you are you willing to stand in the gap for your loved ones would you come on in close man huh you realize the price you're about to pay don't you we know the story of old job in the Bible don't we have we ever heard of job the Bible says his kids had a party and he went to the house per Adventure one of them sinned he gave sacrifice stood in the gap man are you willing to do that for your family are you willing to stand up to the enemy and say not today devil are you willing to turn around and say God not today I'm praying I know I know it's a struggle but I'm asking God would you please stay your hand let me let me pray a little longer let me fast another meal let me get in the word a little deeper and figure this so I could see your hand working in their life come on man we all know y'all can mess up we all know you can be foolish and selfish we know that we just went through all the things that are evident in the flesh but the spirit of our day does not have to be the spirit of your life the spirit of the age does not have to come in and determine your home and your family in this church man are you willing to stand there in a gap wives moms grandparents grandmamas are you willing to come up behind them would you God I know and I honor and respect them as the man and the father of our home but I stand with them I stand with them Come On Up behind them I stand with them kids listen to this look at the order here look how God established this man if you'll be the men of your home and the wall that you put around them that protection your wife is there protecting and holding you the children are coming up next don't get that out of order message for another day kids come on your dad needs you today your mom needs you today this is how we're going to do this we're going to pray we're going to pray men this is what I need you to do I need you to plead the blood of Jesus right now over your home come on plead the blood of Jesus over your wife and your children come on speak their names out come on man lift your voice don't do it silently vocalize it let the enemy hear your voice right now Jesus I plead your blood over my home I plead your blood Lord over my wife Michelle I plead your blood Jesus over Lauren over Sam I plead your blood over Stephen and Brittany my grandbaby that's to come I plead your blood I plead your blood Jesus filling the Gap today God I stand Here Lord and I declare God we serve you I'm asking you Lord God let there be a complete hedge around my family my mind my spirit God I pray Lord I believe you today in the name of Jesus there is victory in the camp there is victory in every family there is victory in the church there's Victory Lord God in the church Hallelujah come on me and pray come on man call on the name of the Lord God come on ladies pray for them today come on bind together with him right now come on children pray for your parents pray for destroyed you don't have to be done away with but there is victory in the name of Jesus When you pray through the week when you read your word through the week you realize what's happening is you're sharpening your tools you're using the power of salvation to get you through the day and to into the next day come on anybody in here got the Holy Ghost and you already know it works come on this is the hour now more than ever don't don't take a chance on it don't drop the ball in this moment men be prayer warriors in your home establish that place God I need you here moms support that yes we're
