The King is Looking for You

would you pray with me church right now lord we hunger for you today we thirst for you our hearts lord our spirits lord reach for you today we so desperately need you all of my righteousness is lord they are as filthy rags i i must have you i make myself available again to you lord anoint your word today help me god help me lord today i need you i love you and i trust you i believe in you lord you have the answer god you are the answer hallelujah for the next 60 seconds can we just lift our hands to him and entertain him with praise come on we have sung songs we have prayed we have pleaded his blood now come on let's enter into the word today with praise i thank you lord i want to receive from you let your words speak to me today god i i pray for it lord let it change me let it make come on somebody pray would you walk into praise right now oh god you're holy you're holy you are holy altogether lovely is your name from the rising of the sun and to the going down of the same your name is worthy your name is worthy your name is worthy your name is worthy we bless you lord today speak to us though god that our hearts and our lives be changed by your word today in jesus name out sick and and attached to different things but we are here today and the lord is here what a wonderful spirit i always enjoy those songs singing about him not us lifting him up and and and not stuff i enjoy lifting up the king confusion conflict uncertainty low on joy those are just a few words if you will that describe the feeling and attitude of our present world we have access to the most brilliant and the most talented people the world has ever known yet there is such upheaval such discontentment the bible tells us a letter written to a young preacher and the second letter written to timothy chapter 3 verse number 1 this know also that in the last days perilous times shall come men shall be lovers of their own selves covetous proud blasphemers disobedient to parents unthankful unholy verse 3 says without natural affection truth breakers false accusers incontinent fierce despisers of those that are good continues traitors heady high-minded lovers of pleasures more than lovers of god and listen what it says having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof and this is the word written from such turn away for of this sort are they which creep into houses and lead captive silly women laden with sin led away with divers lust and verse seven is where i'm at today ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth i believe again in our culture in our society that that if you want to know something you have information at your fingertips anybody here still open books yeah yeah i do i i enjoy the pages of books some of y'all are don't have a have a clue about that it's just you just swipe through your your ipad or your phone uh the reason i i don't read a lot off my phone duran because it's too little and my glasses won't bring it there so i got to get on the big stuff and then anyway i digressed our world where where we live i know that i often speak of it from this podium and as pastor i try to keep keep an eye on things going on in our world so that somehow someway the the actions and the attitudes that are happening in our world they don't come into the church family in effect in the negative way that the church family i only talk about these things because hear me the bible is still very relevant to where we live don't think for a moment that this generation is different than any other that has come no no it's the same things happen people get jealous and greed and pride and arrogance all of those things still happen in our world therefore our world appears to be if you will in a mess in a confused state the writer writes here that they're learning they're always knowing things and knowledge is growing in their mind they're figuring out things constantly but yet when they are trying to understand it they're not able to find truth in it they're looking at for for ways and for for avenues in which they can wrap their mind around things but they won't accept the truth of the word of god hey i'm talking about 2021 listen i spoke of this just recently we got enough smart folk that we can send this little thing to the mars out there anybody ever been to the mars that's mars to most of us anybody here ever been to mars i feel like i live there sometimes but i've never been there we're smart enough to send a capsule there and and we're smart enough to launch these things if you will into the space not really knowing what's going to happen but yet full confidence that we have enough knowledge and science to be able to say we can do this and bring it home and learn from it but the fact of the matter is you know you can build a house nowadays in a matter of days weeks you can be done with it yeah you can remodel a church and take months i'm joking the list goes i didn't say that to anybody here the the list goes on and on every generation every culture if you will you come to the place to where you you realize that you have been handed something from previous generations and now you have to figure out what to do with it i i declare today that that i as a child of god there have been times in my life that perhaps i faced discouragement anybody else you face things where you're uncertain about how things are going to turn out there's challenges that come to even those who believe in the word of god anybody here still struggle with just trying to figure out how to pay the bills you would think in our really smart society we'd have all this figured out but yet we still all scratch our heads and wonder how do you get your kids to school not just the bus but if you're driving them themselves or do they take a a bicycle or a skateboard or is there a segway that takes them there you're trying to figure out the the protection of them do you wear a mask or not i didn't go there it's questions of the day how do we live and how do we survive in 2021 y'all hang on to me for a moment we are in the world but we are doing all that we can to not be of the present world because them our affections and our joys will rely specifically upon the world and not the things of god it's a very real deal that some of us can feel overwhelmed at times agreed we can feel like that things are just coming at us and we're not we're not sure if we can truly overcome but i come today with a word for somebody be of good courage even in this hour don't put affections in the things that are temporal but allow yourself to realize and understand that that you don't have to follow the path that the world has set out in front of you there is still a god who still has a plan and it still includes you there is still a heaven to gain and a hell to shun and that heaven there's a place prepared for you you need to know that you can be confident in the written word of god even if the world is falling apart of the seam never forget his word is already settled a devil in hell can move it or change it or erase it there's no kind of disease or sickness there's no kind of vaccine or not vaccine there's no kind of leader that can change it listen for him if you want something that's not going to change you need to build on the word get the word of god up unto you get the presence of god in you get the power of the spirit of god working in your life come on that's why you need to pray in the morning that's why you need to pray at noon time you need to pray before you go to bed you need to know how to breathe the name jesus when everybody else is running after something else i've come today to tell somebody trusting in the lord is still the right thing to do come on you don't know what else to do pray you don't have an answer pray there have been multitudes of times that my wife and i didn't have and we grabbed each other's hands in the name of jesus lord i know you can make a way i know somehow this can happen i believe you for it and somehow someway things would come together i've come today to encourage somebody be of good courage and keep following jesus elbow your neighbor and say follow the lord come on tell somebody follow the lord it might be that that some of you have felt or you feel that your passion and your dream that you've had in your life maybe it's it's grown cold or it's possibly even dead somebody may feel that that in all the mess of our world that you have been forgotten and the purpose that god breathes into your life the challenge is is how do i keep this alive and moving and how do i know the word is really working when fear and doubt and questions come how do i build upon the things of god i've come to this podium today to encourage somebody the king is looking for you the king is looking for you follow me in the scripture king david is an old testament person that we read about he was anointed and chosen by god to be king saul he was selected by god to be the first king of god's people and saul head and shoulders above all saul began to stray y'all hang on to me a moment saul so i'll begin to do strange things if you will and he he stopped in his in his age if you will he stopped pursuing the ways of god even so much that david as a young man and made friends and had people that began to believe in him because he was anointed as a young man and he went back doing his you all know the story and now he's rising up in the ranks if you will of of friends and neighbors and family and all saul is getting mad about this and the bible the story unfolds that saul even tries on multiple occasions to kill david but he's not successful at it come on david was anointed to be king just like saul was but saul began to follow things that were not from god saul had a son his name was jonathan jonathan by rights should have received if you will by the right of how things were done in that old testament day he should have received the rights to the throne but yet god knew the heart of saul and knew what david was doing and knew that there would have to be a transfer follow this something very interesting happens jonathan becomes the very closest friend that david could ever have had even so much that jonathan would say what you do i do where are you i'm i'm with you man i support you it's not me it's you david i'm giving myself to support what you're doing what god's doing in your life so much that jonathan would follow david wherever he went and be his protector and one that would train up men the armies of saul listen to this we're in gilboa and it was there at that place of gilboa that saul fell upon his sword he saw the philistines were overrunning them and going to kill them all and saul the bible says killed himself jonathan was killed at that place as well the philistines had overcome the armies of saul they died there jonathan and saul the news came back to the house of saul and they knew that if they indeed had lost on the battlefield it was a matter of just moments time if your days are or even less than that that the philistines would be coming to the house of saul and when they got to the house of saul by rights of winning the battle they would be able to reap the spoils from saul's house so the family the servants everybody that's living in that house in that place of saul they begin to scramble they begin to just trying to survive they want to live they don't want to die just like the armies had done in the prophet three the servant who was carrying the son of jonathan who was at the time five years old drops him and the scripture doesn't pops him if you will on a pile of rocks it doesn't say she drops him off the cliff it just simply says that she dropped him and he became lame in his feet he could not walk he was now alive he was truly in the lineage of saul jonathan and him but through this leaving so quickly he is now a the story declares that somehow his feet were damaged and he couldn't walk he was now dependent on others he was dropped in a hurry and for the rest of his life he was going to need somebody to get him from point a to b and to do what he was going to need to do everybody knows his name it's mephibosheth the boy had nothing to say about what happened to him he had no input to be able to declare this is not fair this should not have been my lot in life but yet here i am as a young boy i am now crippled as a boy it was someone else's neglect that caused him to be suffering it was someone else's if you will the what they did that affected him mephibosheth according to the scriptures if you read this he would face all of the challenges of being a for his whole entire life y'all hang on to me a moment years later david now is king and david is searching books and he's noticing things and you you can find these stories and samuel how he wrote them in the first and the second books that he wrote and you can also find some of this in the chronicles if you will of how things laid out but the bible says that david asked a question i want to know is there anybody still around from the family of saul is there anyone sam second samuel 9 verse 1 david said is there yet any that is left of the house of saul that i may show him kindness listen to this for jonathan's sake and there was of the house of saul a servant whose name was ziba and when they had called him unto david the king said unto him art thou zeba and he said thou servant thy servant is he and the king said is there not yet any of the house of saul that i may shoot the kindness of god unto him and zebra said unto the king talking to david jonathan hath yet a son which is lame on his feet the king said unto him where is he and zebra said unto the king behold he is in the house of make here the son of amiel in lodobar the servant of david says to his people around him the king has had a question come up david wants to know is there anybody still alive that is in the family in the lineage of jonathan who was his friend who was saul's son and then they search for this guy and they say zeba he's the one that's over that house now and i'm pretty sure that there's a guy there the thing is is that listen to this knowing the environment and the culture in which they were living those who were the cripples they did not really have a voice in anything that's why when you transfer over into the new testament we find those who were laid at the gate those who are begging they were the they were the ones that not many folk would take time for in the old testament it was worth worse in fact they had a right to kill them because of how they dragged down the rest of the tribe or the rest of their family they were somebody who were a burden on someone else but i've come today by the help of the lord and i feel this so very strong today in the word that david is very interested there is one his name is mephibosheth and he is living now in lodibar by definition the word lodobar is simply this a place of no pasture no hope and no way out he is a son of the king his granddaddy is the king yet because he has become crippled by someone else's decree if you will he is now a nobody simply says i'm looking for him i want you to go find him and i want you to bring him to where i live the bible declares very specifically that saul and jonathan died on a battlefield and when david when he became king he said i got to put stuff back in order i need to establish some things here jonathan was as as my own brother was so close to me and yet they're dead and gone i'm trying to rule this kingdom that god has put me in charge of but something is missing imagine if you will a young mephibosheth now doesn't give his age it simply says that he's living in the house of ziba there on that place in lotabar where there's no pasture there's no help imagine him if you will in the house one day minding his own business sitting in the chair that was made for the crippled guy in the corner however he was dealt with and lo there come a knock at the door somebody's looking for the lineage of saul what has happened has there been something bad that's happened has there been something that i i have to pay for that my dad or my grandfather didn't do but lo and behold the voice began to ring out mephibosheth listen the king is looking for you he wants you to understand something that what's been taken from you that was not your fault it was not by your hand nor your design and you have been suffering in the place of no pasture no hope and no way out the king is looking for you he wants you to come to the castle today to the palace if you will why because he's got something to tell you in the midst of all of your hurt in the midst of all of your suffering in the midst of what was not your fault the king is coming knocking at your door i rise to this podium today to declare to somebody the king is looking for you it might be that your life has fell apart at the hand of someone else it could be that sin has arrived at your home by somebody else i come to declare the word of the lord the king is looking for you he wants to know are you willing to come to the king's house are you willing to come and sit at the king's table are you willing to come and put away the past and walk in to the presence of the king as somebody helps you i start y'all sit down i started today on the confusion conflict question because that's where we are and everybody's doing this they hurt me they made this happen this was why this why how come why not listen to the scripture the writer luke the doctor guy wrote this in 1909 jesus said unto him this day is salvation come to this house for as much as he also is the son of abraham listen to it for the son of man has come to seek and to save that which is lost in this instance it's the little man zacchaeus he was so interested in who jesus was that he ran to the tree couldn't see brother dan anything around us a bunch of body and armpits he like wait a minute i don't even know who this jesus is but all all i do know is everywhere this man goes and people cry out his name something happens in them i watch from the sideline because i'm too little i watch those that come in as lepers leaving rejoicing as the master speaks their name i come and i watch as the come to him and he speaks a word and they're made whole and they run away knowing they're completely made whole it was that zacchaeus who climbed up in the tree that day throwing an arm here and there trying to get high enough to see he knows he doesn't deserve to be close to jesus by his lineage by who he is by what he's done but if he could somehow see jesus he's got something inside of him that says i'm not sure how this gonna turn out i don't know what's going to take place but imagine with me my friend when the eyes of the master begin to cast itself upward zacchaeus get out of the tree today i'm going to your house today i'm coming to your place what do you mean you're coming to my place nobody wants you everybody's pushed your way nobody may not like you but look at your desire to want to know me get out of the tree i'm coming to your house today i've come to tell somebody in this house be of good courage the king is looking for you today there is a place for you in the family of god the altar is still the safest place you'll ever find yourself the name of jesus is still the most powerful name you can ever call upon stay with me listen to me carefully in the day and age in which we live there's so much question concern here here's one for you who knows what's best for you i may have all the right intentions and i might even say this is what you need to do this is how you need to do it this is how you need to accomplish what you're looking to do and with all of my heart and all of my intentions i will try to help you right but i might not know the whole story the blind man had no testimony until he recognized who jesus was they tried to hush him and quiet him until he figured out who jesus was and then he began to call and now all eyes are on the blind guy oh be of good courage he's calling for you who is the master how am i gonna even know when i get to him how am i even going to know that it's it's really really him somebody's leading me to him i don't i don't i don't even know who oh see i've been used to stumbling around because i can't see but i heard this jesus was coming by and i heard what somebody else said about him and i'm here in my blind state with no hope no reason to really live and move forward but jesus is near me i got nothing to lose i got nothing to lose be of good courage the master's calling you he's looking for you some of you sitting here today your life is a mess i've come to declare that jesus is looking for you he loves you and it might be you're a mess and everything you could ever muster up to bring to him in a box that's all broken and bent up he already knows the path that you've taken and he's looking for you he's looking for you the king is looking for you tyler i cannot imagine my favorite chef i get to eat where from here on you're gonna eat at the king's house y'all don't believe there's power in that listen to the stories eba everything that was jonathan's all the land all the stuff it's returned to him you go work it you bring the fruits and you bring them for his house he ain't going there he's going to eat here but because he's eating here you're going to have what you need at your house somebody in your life is simply waiting for you to come and connect with jesus king's looking for you today king is looking for you today jesus you are truth god and you're in this place right now your spirit is moving in and out of these aisles even now there is an anointing lord that is touching each one that's here those online those watching your anointing and your glory is moving you're looking you come to seek to save the lost today we are here in this room needing you i speak a word of faith right now to somebody you need to know the king's looking for you and if you'll come and pray if you'll bow a knee if you'll throw hand just surrender it to him there are things that's going to blow your mind that the spirit of god is going to do in your life because he's looking for you he's not going to leave you in a position or a condition in which you come he is going to change you right now this altar is open you need to come come on you need to come in the name of jesus you need to come to this altar right now come on step out of where you're standing and make a move towards the front come on come on as you come you bring your hands lifted up lord you see where i am lord you know what's going on in my life but i am trusting you lord god you can bring me lord out of the place of no pasture no hope and you can breathe life into me come on get out of loader bar go to the king's house go to the king's house he's looking for you come on the king is looking for you that's right come on open your mouth begin to bless the lord come pray open your mouth begin to talk to the master i try to open your heart begin the lord's looking for you he wants to change you he wants to rearrange he wants to make things right in you that's we're going to pray together get a hold of somebody nearby you there throw their hand to heaven come on we're going to pray one for another push their hand to heaven right now jesus we bind together lord we are hungry for you we are thirsty for you oh god there is a way lord that is right it's your way there is a plan lord it's your plan that's the one we're hungry for come on pray for that one now you got a hold of god anoint them help them lord to be the man or the woman they need to be help them god to have faith to believe you and trust you for the miraculous give them the joy lord that comes from serving you come on by faith come on church by faith believe god you are doing the miraculous in their lives hallelujah hallelujah now together can we just rejoice in the lord come on give amen aren't you glad you know him aren't you thankful he didn't leave you in the mess you're in but he comes to you he's got answers for you god is doing such great things in this hour even in all the stuff going on the church is still growing and moving and going forward come on one of these days and it won't be long there will be a trump it will sound and it will remove the bride i'm looking for a city how about you whose hands and makers not me but god by the way it's called heaven in case you forgot about it it's called heaven in case it slips your mind lord we love you today and we are thankful for our time together i plead your blood over the church lord as we go our separate ways i pray for every family every individual lord breathe into their lives hope healing let your word become real to them go with us god let us live out this week lord to bring honor and glory to you jesus you can fill us you can change us and you can lead us every day give us o god what we need daily lord thy kingdom come thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven let it be declared dear god let the church rise in this occasion help us lord to be the church that we need to be well come again
