would you pray with me church right now lord we we love you and we need you today great god we gather in this place lord with a high expectancy god that you will meet us here if we ever get in your presence jesus everything about us lord changes things of the world grow strangely dim as we begin to see you clearer one more time lord i make myself available to you jesus we we need to hear from you today thank you lord for allowing us to come together for the strength to give us lord to acknowledge the fact that without you we are nothing all of our righteousness is lord they are filthy rags we we've got to have you to clean us and make us new in the name of jesus will you say in jesus name come on in jesus name claim it right now lord i i'm loving you and trusting you jesus my faith is in you today lord my faith is in you jesus praise god forever you can be seated if you feel like you need to thank you singers musicians a lot of folk out today brother duran had to back up and punt thankful that he's a punter and thankful for singers for the workers sunday school teachers greeters helloers good buyers everybody that's involved amen good to see brother sister cole today out with us from rockwood glad y'all are here worshiping the lord any other guests that are with us we're so glad you've come amen good to be in the house of the lord as always just so you know the weather outside might be frightful but we're going to be okay in here as long as this roof holds oh i'm standing under this beam right here y'all sit up sit out there i might stand just joking good to see all of you out today in an age of information technology i of course that's that something i delve into occasionally i i'm always intrigued by it we've got a whole lot of things guys that we can learn and that we can know from others around the globe in fact a little recent study that i did a little recent research there is a desire from most of the nations of the world hear this they have a desire to demonstrate their power and their might now understand where i'm coming from this is an activity that goes back way back generations and generations before us an example would be a nation would rally their troops and rally their weapons and rally together all of the things that that they use to defend themselves and to demonstrate to the rest of the world their abilities they gather those together and they would do what's called a parade they would have all of their colorful costumes if you will their uniforms out they would be in pristine order they would have their armor out they would have colorful things flags banners waving they would be polished they would set in the place all the missiles and the weaponry everything would be to where it would demonstrate to anyone in the world if they laid eyes upon what they had they would know beyond the shadow of a doubt that they were a force to be reckoned with amen we we see this even in 2022 we see that countries will celebrate special days and and they'll gather all the military and all the civilians and everybody comes together just just this past week i laid eyes on on looking into this on the chinese and the the the multitudes of military that they have and how they demonstrate that and the rest of the world stands back and all i'm mentioning this simply because there is a reason that the nations do that primarily they are trying to show to the rest of the world that they are someone to deal with secondly they are trying to identify with their troops this is who we are we are doing our best to make sure that as a nation as a force as a military power as a commercial power as an economic you got to deal with it because you need to understand if everybody else out there thinks that we're all of that in the box of cracker jacks we have a chance of survival we can make it if we show ourselves to be weak weak need unable unintelligent not capable of carrying the mail if you will then the rest of the world will simply shuff us off they will think that we're nobody we have no value there's no reason to worry about them and they will simply pass us by understand this it helps when you train and you give instructions to the military or to those that are in force in that nature in in that nation understanding if they'll comprehend what is at stake they will serve better to understand there is more at stake than simply what i look like now most all you all know i had the opportunity to serve in the military for a short time and and it was something else to go to to uh to the formations in the morning and you stand in line everybody's dressed right you got your uniform on because you knew if there was an inspection it was going to be a good day because invariably somebody's gig line would get them invariably somebody's boots would be dirt invariably somebody's hat would be wrong on and on it goes why did they care about those details because if you're going to understand the purpose in that military unit you've got to comprehend the smallest of details amen it is a tactic that is used very often in the arena of battle and warfare if the enemy can listen to this that the enemy can make you think that he is bigger and better than he really is then he can beat you before he ever wrestles against you amen the weapon that he uses without firing one shot hear this if he can intimidate you he will keep you from defending yourself if we understand what that is then we know that in in just our recent history if anybody can recall just a few short years ago when when we went into the middle east as a nation to try to overthrow the the dictatorship and stuff if you'll recall the the homework that came home and the images that came back there were multitudes of military that were throwing down their weapons from there saying we don't want to fight we're just hungry we don't have what we need we we'll give ourselves and by the thousands they were surrendering saying if we if we just come hey y'all come take care of us whatever amen understand that even understanding that in our day one of the greatest threats to the united states of america right now hear this is there's no shot fired it is called cyber warfare they can sit at a computer terminal they can sit at a in a coffee shop they can sit in their home they can get online and they can begin to type this this and that and they can what's called hacking we had that when i was growing up brother gibson hacky what he was hacking hacking a lot he's a hacker from a little different story today i know i just dated myself know this though the whole purpose in it was intimidation still is if they can ever get you to think something different of them then they don't have to show their hand quite literally we have learned in our world that one man could sit at a computer and shut down the entire world's complex hear this why because all they're trying to they don't have to show their military might they don't have to put their missiles out on display they don't have to put their troops on display they can simply intimidate you and force you to back down before a shot is ever fired you all understand pastor's going somewhere listen to me carefully i am certain that we can understand the principles that we just looked at and we know that there is an an opposing force in our world that really has no way of knowing just how strong that the enemy is until they demonstrate and show their hand has anyone here ever been been attacked by the enemy you didn't think that he had the ability all of a sudden you're all tripped up falling on your face wondering why in the world that i give in to that why was i intimidated and placed into a position to where i had to negotiate and drop it come on somebody here got faith to believe god can heal but the enemy come in the enemy come in the war against it and cause you to i don't know god i know you can do it but lord have me i'm praying hard for my tylenol i'm about to take why because if we're ever intimidated by the enemy's voice if we ever listen to the lie of the enemy he doesn't have to shoot at us he doesn't have to throw us to the ground he can simply cause you not to believe in who you are we understand that strength that if you get up close with the enemy and it's hand-to-hand combat i wonder today what would your spiritual hand-to-hand con what would it look like what would that fight look like i don't know about you but there are some people in in the church that i'd be afraid to death to stand in front of them and they're spiritually coming after me most of them are about 80 years 75 80 years old they couldn't pick up a gun if they wanted to but you get them in an altar and the enemy come up against their grandbabies they'll start pleading the blood of jesus they'll start speaking in a heavenly language you'll watch every devil in hell drop his weapon and run why because there's something to be said about somebody who comprehends the power of the weapon that they hold i'm standing here today in the middle of our 21 days of dedication and i've come to call somebody to realize if you'll understand that the weapons of your warfare are not carnal but there are spiritual things happening if you'll connect with the king of glory if you'll wrap yourself all up in the power of the risen savior then you can comprehend devil i don't care what you come after me with i'm a child of god i've been baptized in the name of jesus i've been filled with the holy ghost you know how i know it i spoke with tongues as the evidence came what i'm come to tell somebody today is you've got to understand the weapons of warfare so often so often we we we're looking for the hanky i surrender i give up now this is a physical action somebody somebody say it's physical and we might not do this physically but what we'll do somebody need to hear the preacher today is we'll stop praying we'll stop trusting we'll stop proclaiming lord it's in your word lord it's in the bible the verses are there i'm not holding on to them i'm not running away from them i may not stand here and wave a white flag but if i stop believing in you the enemy can simply walk in then and simply allow the fear of what could happen to dominate what's not happening and then i'd be stuck trying to decide do i go this way or do i go that way come on some of us need to drop the change in our hands some of us are reaching into our spiritual pockets for a lot of coins saying is it or is it not you need to put that away and declare this is the day the lord gave me i declare the word of the lord i know that my enemy cannot destroy me i'm a blood-bought child of god devil you need to know something i've been in the prayer room i'm prayed up you can come against me you can try to stop it but the power of the word of god is so much stronger i don't have to display the military mike it's already been displayed on a cross of calvary devil you want to know what power i've got watch this devil you want to know what authority there is look at that devil you want to comprehend what the spirit of the lord can do look at him john chapter 16 come on we're going to the word john chapter 16 verse number 29 notice what the bible said his disciples his followers everybody say the men the women come on say it the men and the women his disciples said to him lo now speakest thou plainly and speakers no proverb now are we sure that are we sure that do are we sure that thou knowest all things are we sure that you need us not any man should ask thee but this we believe that thou camest forth from god follow this 31 jesus answered them there there's a there's a perplexity on their mind they're they're demonstrating that question mark face do ye now believe this is what jesus is asking these followers his disciples and then notice how he continues oh behold the hour cometh yea is now come that ye shall be scattered every man to his own and shall leave me alone and yet i am not alone because the father is with me verse 33 these things i have spoken unto you that in me you might have peace in the world you shall have tribulation but be of good cheer somebody hear the preacher i have overcome the world listen to this as the followers of jesus they were trying to get their hearts and their minds to really wrap around and understand the parables the teachings the way that jesus would explain to the multitudes that's why they said now we believe you lord but could you just plainly speak to us in their hearts and their minds they were trying to grasp about him coming and then him talking about he's got to die and talking about he's got to go to the tomb and then talking about what is to come in their minds they can't understand that jesus was simply looking at them and in their vernacular perhaps they felt confused or they were mixed up and they were trying to understand in fact he says to them there is a power here there is something that is worth noting here the world is going to bring you tribulation yes in fact you're going to be scattered if you look at it and go to the original translation you will be sent to your own houses to defend for yourself he was trying to let them know jesus we want to understand therefore we're asking jesus was adhering to that saying that let me make you aware of something for you to truly grasp this situation and what i'm talking about you need to know that there's a time that is coming to you because you believe in me because you place your faith in me jesus tells them because you understand who i am and what i've brought into this world there are going to be problems that will come your way you're going to be scattered meaning you're not going to be able to bunch up with everybody around you lock arm and arm you'll be sent home to figure this out on your own but know something you're going to go through tribulations in this world things are going to happen in your life but you friend can i truly enjoy the peace of almighty god in your life why because you put your faith in him and he declares i've already overcome the world i've already overcome the enemy there's nothing that he can bring to you that would cause you to be defeated church you need to hear what the preacher says the word of god doesn't fail it doesn't falter it doesn't change with culture nor society it doesn't regroup when it's something happening in your life but if it was right for them it's right for you and i understanding he has overcome all things he did not say i'll keep you from the tribulation he did not say you'll not scatter and run about you'll be together no that's why you've got to understand in this 21 days for an example of dedication it is not going to be your time gathered in the church house that gives you strength it is going to be that monday morning that thursday morning when everything's falling apart when all the trials and tests of the world are coming at you it's going to be that you get up out of your bed with an understanding thank you lord one more day you've given me one more day you've given me i don't know if anybody else is praying different prayers this week but i have i'm realizing when i place my feet on the floor lord i'm weak and i'm tired of my body things are happening that i may not comprehend but when i get up in jesus name it only means i'm going to bed in jesus name there's nothing that can happen to me throughout the day that can thwart that or push it to the side when i go grab my cup of coffee it's in jesus name when i get out of the car to go in the store and send you come on if you don't have jesus in every part of your life you need to get him there when your babies go to school jesus i plead your blood over them go with them god make opportunity for them when they come home thank you lord one more time i believe that if you are in him if you are living in him the scripture reveals to us there is peace but you've got to abide in him jesus has seen the military's enemies military might parade itself by in fact we we have noted in the old testament this entire action being played out jesus the lord god is in a certain place at a certain time doing certain things and then walks the devil i didn't make this up it's there and god looks at him he knows him he's not he's not surprised that he's there he's not shocked that he's there in fact he addresses him what's he doing i'm walking about huh trying to devour i'm trying to destroy somebody i'm trying to get a hold of somebody's belief in you god knows all about the enemy's tactics on display and he's kind enough to say oh let me help you have you considered my servant job on parade even job says yeah i've been watching him really you mean out of all the millions on planet earth you're watching job you see that come on the devil is not omniscient omnipotent omnipresent he's not everywhere all the time that's our god come on come on i'm telling you you got to change your belief if you think that god's standing there and the devil's there you need to change your belief you need to realize lord you're on my side now his little imps of hell all the distractions all the things of life can come against you that's true but that's a lot of time that's the stuff you've been carrying around come on you push the devil out of the way he's gonna go find somewhere else to go as a child brother gibson i vividly remember in service as a child i remember that the devil would demonstrate himself he would be so foolish to open his mouth in church we called it there was a possession and a casting out anybody anybody recall those days and man that scared us to death yeah we we don't know what's happening but pastor i remember brother tedder would get up and right there he said all right you need to get all these children out of here and if you don't believe and not follow the holy ghost you better run right now go and man of course everybody's sitting there saying i've been in church for three years and if i get up walk out of here they're gonna go i knew it ain't holy he ain't holy i knew it see there wasn't no devil there was just a pastor's way of testing all right we're gonna separate goat and sheep anybody not go you know of course i was i was that brave one or that dumb one right i'll just pray for him so i'm down on the floor i can't walk out lord because i'll get a whoopin but mom thinks i'm spiritual come on and i'd watch brother tedrick with his inhaler in one hand down on one knee in front of that person and in the name of jesus god would work couldn't breathe and he boom and i'm sitting back in the back going oh my lord somebody fitting a die something about to happen and i remember as a little guy watching this thing unfold in front of me his brother tedrick would then he would just take control of it with your name and that devil could bear you could hear it coming out that ain't her voice and y'all think i'm fake you think this is hollywood it's not i've been and that voice come out of them and brother titus shut up be quiet in jesus name and they go and he'd pray and pray and pray and next thing you know this stuff it may seem to throw up of a demonic person man it stains the carpet you can't get it off ain't no resolve big enough i mean it just stained the car but i've seen that so many times as a kid growing then when i got into ministry brother to preach my pastor at that time he said come on we're going into prayer when somebody's being possessed i need you in here to help me can i bring my mama i miss asking lo and behold the truth true true thing my mom would be sitting there in the corner brother gibson with her head down jesus jesus boy the blood of jesus is just flowing and this person down there they went after my pastor one time she did she took off crawling this girl did she was so she was so out of it she'd rid on the floor like a snake and i'm sitting here watching this come on you young people need to hear this is a real deal and she went after my pastor and he was right in front of her looking at her here she come after him and i just reached up in jesus name pulled her leg out from under her she went right on the carpet right in front of him and he said now you get up and she sat up and he began to plead the blood and lo and behold god began to work and the holy ghost began to move listen i have stood in the altar overseas in the mission field i'm telling you the truth and watch this little person about this tall she ain't no bigger than a minute throw two men one wall to the other wall and she was possessed but when the pastor got over there and said hold on one second missionary and he walked over there and he got a hold of that in the name of jesus and boom shoot she hit the floor and everything just puddled up and then them them old prayer warriors why am i telling you that because there are things in the power of the name of jesus that this generation needs to understand you think come on you think for one moment that the devil's just going to sashay around here because he's afraid of you he's not afraid of you he's afraid of what is in you listen to me carefully you ought to feel an uneasiness in your spirit if you're full of the holy ghost because this world should be buffeting you and pushing against you i'm not saying you should be afraid what i'm saying is it ought to cause you to say in the name of jesus in the name of jesus why because he has overcome the world but you've got to understand it it's through the power of jesus christ his name that we are victorious go with me please hebrews the writer to hebrews chapter number 12 verse number one you all know this wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses let us lay aside every weight and the sin which does so easily beset us and let us run with patience the race that is set before us listen to it looking unto jesus the author the finisher of our faith who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross despising the shame is set down at the right hand of the throne of god for consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds what the writer was writing to the hebrews is simply this that the blood of jesus has the power to take you through all of life situations there's a multitude of witnesses around you that will declare i once was lost but now i'm found i walked in darkness but now i'm in the light i know what trials are i know what tribulation is but because of the blood of jesus you're able to overcome just like i did i believe today that what we are talking about is jesus christ is the victor he is the champion of our faith it is because he's the victor he's the one that gives you the power he puts breath in your body he puts his spirit in you he anoints you for the battle in front of you but you've got to learn he's the victor therefore i will embrace him and him alone if you know him as the champion today why don't you give him praise come on open your mouth to give him praise he is the victor he's the one that started it he authored it and he knows the end of it he will finish it he holds the power in his hand that's why he sits in a place of authority i am able to work and move jesus says i can do because i have the authority and the power to do such a friend of mine as weird and as wild as our world gets as much as the enemy would like to pound its chest of what they can do the fact of the matter is this death hell the grave has already released its ability to stop somebody with a made-up mind come on there are some of you sitting under the sound of my boys some of you at home sitting on the couch right now you've been through hell and high water to simply try to understand jesus and for whatever reason the whole world seems to be against you but yet you don't give up you don't quit you keep pushing forward why because your faith is not in the stuff of this world it's not in who you are but it's in who he is and you've decided i don't care what they say it don't matter what they think i know the victor he is in charge of it all i'm gonna hold on to him come on that's why this altar needs to be your favorite place that's why the blood of jesus needs to be what you long for why because if you'll stay under the blood of jesus at an altar there is nothing that this world can do there's nothing the enemy can say that will change the situation brother duran come on man would you so many of us y'all stand with me please so many of us know we know full well when the enemy's attacking us huh we know full well when the enemy's coming and he's on parade in front of us listen to pastor real quick we know it because we know the enemy's voice he's threatening me he's saying this he's saying that i wonder today is it time that some of us reposition our stand and instead of really know the voice of the enemy what if we really attuned to the voice of god you still recognize the voice of god or does he have to shake you in the midnight hour does he have to push you out of the bed off the couch into the floor does he have to get you into a position where sickness and disease would wreck your body and your mind so that you couldn't trust them i'm asking today do you hear the voice of the enemy more than you hear the voice of god see the enemy of our of our soul the one that's trying to destroy us and conquer us he has one purpose one purpose only it's demonstrated in the book of genesis did he not say you know what the serpent said to eve he took the word of truth and took took a form of the truth and turned it and presented it back to her and because she wasn't because she wasn't secure in the word she listened to the enemy's word and she took that's the only weapon the devil uses he doesn't have a new armor he doesn't he doesn't develop new weapons he doesn't need to every generation you read about in the word of god what was their downfall they stopped following god jesus would go from town to town you know this new testament it's in the gospels he would go from town to town and the bible says specifically some towns that he would go to he would do much miracles there multitudes would come out and then there were places he went to he could do none because they didn't believe him i wonder sometimes in our culture and our generation 2022 if we're giving the devil more credit than is due him i'm convinced today friend of mine that the word of god is forever settled and there's no way to alternate or change it we simply got to know it this altar today this place is still a place of sacrifice now it's vacuumed it's carpet it looks good and it's pretty but this is still a place of sacrifice and giving some of you need to realize the power of the underside of carpet let me explain if you'll dig in so hard and so strong you can get up under this rug and simply lay there and wait for god to come back and pick you up i've been there multiple times god i don't care what it looks like it don't bother me that somebody's laughing it doesn't bother me that somebody's making fun i need you i don't understand i'm confused i have doubt i have fear i have questions i don't know please god can you i never got that sitting at my table i never got that sitting here on a couch or sitting on the pew i got that when the quiet time and in the wrestling time in an altar there's still times in my life today and i'm not that old but i'm not that young i wish you know man if i just had that physical my knee hurts today you know all of us all of us are hebrew in some way right lord you know lord you know lord you know if i could i would that's why sometimes i pray i do i pray lord let these young folk catch on fire but i'll pass on to them as they go by come on take mine and run with it come on take mine and run with it come on take mine and run with it go go go why because if you think oh lord help me stay on target today if we're going to know the victory every day it's going to be because we understand his power his authority and his anointing i'm thrilled every day when i get reports back from my children that i was in church today god moved in this way god touched in this way god had this going on i'm like yes lord yes lord give it to him god give it to him god give it to him just shovel it onto him let him understand the power of the altar knowing you some of your parents need so hard right now to get your children into an altar some of you moms and dads one more time need to get into the place where you can discover who the victor is they sure ain't your enemy he's only victorious if you give him the crown he is only victorious if you hand him your crown come to an altar would you today come on somebody some of y'all need to run down here come on some of y'all need to hurry god i'm coming to you he is the victory if you don't yet have the holy ghost you can receive it if you're at home watching you can receive it in your living room if you're here in this place today and you're confused and wondering where god is i invite you to open your mouth and begin to love him and serve come on love him and magnify his name put him in his proper place lord i've come today to lift you up to bless your name to magnify to exalt you oh god our god you are excellent you are holy and you are perfect come on somebody lift up the name of jesus lift your voice to him i've come today hungry for you i need you you are first lord you are first lord in my life jesus come on come on somebody it's prayer time in the altar right now open your mouth begin to bless the lord that's right come on continue to bless the lord let the blessings of the lord move in your life let the blessings of the lord move right now through your praise i try to identify with him lord i'm trusting you lord i'm trusting you come on settle the situation jesus you are truly in control you are the victor you are the victor you have overcome jesus come on if you've got the holy ghost you need to speak in tongues that's your spirit of god come on in jesus name you need to feel the glory of the lord work in your life right now oh god my god how majestic is your name come on somebody press into it i come running to you you are the victor yes you are the overcomer you are the champion of the ages you are one god yes you're on the throne today high and exalted above everything i believe it today lord there is no weapon that has formed against us that can prosper but we stand upon the word come on somebody declare who you are today i'm a child of god i'm a child of the victory reach over grab a hold of somebody pray with them right now come on let the holy ghost use you right now pray for somebody god oh god be real to them be real to them be real to them jesus be real to them come on get a hold of somebody pray with them encourage them in the holy ghost encourage them in the holy ghost yes yes yes yes i've come to love you jesus victory belongs to jesus victory belongs to you jesus come on reach over pray for someone else let the word of god move in your life today come on let the glory of the lord work right now in this place victory belongs to jesus to jesus there is glory in your presence there is peace in your presence jesus how i love you lord how i love you lord come on the holy ghost is real mom and dad it's for you for your children grandparents it's for you your children your grandchildren holy god holy god holy god somebody say in jesus name in jesus name talking today about he is the victor see give me 30 more seconds in our culture and in our generation quite honestly the testimony of jesus he would be a victim and that's a mentality he didn't he wasn't a victim because he knew what he was going through was for a purpose so the victim mentality changed into the victor mentality you and i today whatever you're going through whatever life's road is for you don't let it destroy you don't let it push you to the ground but instead let it lift your head lord i know you're on my side and you're with me your rod and your staff they comfort me you you're near me god i am with you you are with me we're walking lord together this journey i'm trusting in you grab a hold of somebody close to you your hand let's pray one for another before we leave this house jesus i thank you lord for allowing us to be in your house today i thank you for those who watched online god that and i trust that you speak to them jesus you are the victor lord you are the glorious redeemer today lord in this place we know that the enemy is already defeated the story has already been written you authored it and you finished it help us today god in our generation lord not to give up not to give in but to steadfastly lord run to you walk to you every day lord to love and serve you i pray for the church family god give us grace lord give us wisdom knowledge understanding to understand the times that we're in and to know how to navigate them through the blood of jesus those that are sick god healed and restore them i rebuke sickness in jesus name i rebuke sickness in jesus name i rebuke the infirmity in jesus name in jesus name i i plead the blood of the lamb right now lord i ask you to dispatch angels to go to those who are sick to their homes right now and i plead your blood over them i rebuke the enemy in jesus name i rebuke the infirmity in the name of jesus come on somebody help me there's a lot of sick folk today that need deliverance in jesus name you're a healer yes you are jesus you're a waymaker you're a restorer lord you're a provider yes you are you're a protector today be with us lord we're gonna come together god loving you serving you through this week in the wonderful name of jesus we pray somebody say in jesus name in jesus name
