won't you pray with me right now together Jesus Lord God we have gathered in this room to love you and to praise you and to lift you up oh god we have sing your songs Lord unto you and praise and worship we have prayed Lord we have believed Lord we have petitioned heaven right now Lord we need your word to touch us and change and make us over again Jesus I make myself available to you again forever proverbs chapter 25 verse number 11 simply says this a word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver we got any educated folk in here today can we read this out loud together y'all ready you ready proverbs 25 and 11 everybody help me a word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver Solomon known as the wise guy the wisest man who ever lived the Bible that you hold so dear to your heart there's a portion in in those scriptures if you will it's what we call the book of Proverbs by its meaning itself it basically signifies wisdom knowing insight experience a proverb can be used in many areas of your life now I realize in our 2020 culture that we really don't have a whole lot of Proverbs that float around out there now again some some in this culture and in this generation some may consider your favorite country song to be a proverb but it's not it might sound good when musics applied to it some may consider the rap verse to be to be something that's a proverb but it's not it's a simple series of words but when we get into the word of the Lord a proverb is something that empowers with wisdom to you the fact that the entire book of the Bible called proverbs is dedicated to wisdom encouragement blessings and help that ought to help every one of us I don't know about you but as a parent I have used many of these verses to help to lead my children you know that's spoiling never mind that sparing this thing called a rod anyway you know what when you look at the book of Proverbs you understand that there is a way that you can train your children according to these words of wisdom and the fact of the matter is as as humans we need wisdom a contrary to what some young folk believe and what they've been taught you don't know everything when you are born you know your parents try to help you with I tried to help my kids all the time with this stuff you know the Proverbs that you would use in modern culture if you get out there and play around and break your leg don't come running to me don't look at your sister that way your face may freeze like that that's what's wisdom this is the one that always I use on my kids and not really knowing why don't you get smart with me now you go to school where my which way do I go statements trying to help there's a motive involved there's an intention involved the intent no doubt is correct it's just sometimes a word that can be taken out of its context and the desire that you're trying to do with that word although sincere it can be misunderstood and in its presentation can leave somebody actually scratching their head I stand here today on this Sunday afternoon and tell you that the situation in our world today there are a lot of words of flying around out there some news commentators I am certain that they mean well but their words are falling short and that makes a person when you hear what they say it makes you not really want to trust what they say it causes you to say well I don't really think they're looking out for my benefit and now the events that have unfolded in this past week it is showing us how that the media and the out news outlets can can present something in and with words they can strike fear in the heart of anybody just words is all it is it's hard to tell people as a whole group that there's a possibility that you can get sick and died turn to your neighbor and say you might die well sure if you live long enough it's a point at once to die I'm not preaching a doom and gloom I'm telling you the fact stay with me for a moment in the events that's going on around us how do you tell somebody who doesn't understand the Word of God and the prophecies of the word of God how do you tell them kindly that something may happen is there a good way to tell people the possible pending bad thing that could happen might not but it might could happen or it could not possibly there but possibly not there's there's a lot to be said for those who will just shoot it straight to you how many enjoy when somebody comes up or they're your boss comes to you and say hey I got some good news and bad news what do you want first what difference does that make what do you pick you want the bad news first why get it over with what if it's so bad you don't care what the good news is when you rather hear the good news and then when the bad news comes you're like but I still have a smile anyway what I'm telling you is this is that there's there's a lot of things on out there in the world and the fact is is that words can be used in an attempt to help and to lead and to give some direction but for whatever reason we can't wrap our mind around the word whatever that word happens to be and it it begins to develop inside of us into fear or into a misunderstanding there are those in our world they can massage words into phrases in a way that it looks like a a work of art have you ever been dogged out by somebody and glad you work because their words were just so neat I just think they said really bad things to me but boy they said it nice I used to have a Regional Director when I was a missionary man I always told my wife I wish he I hope he introduces me sometime in a in a service because this guy could use eight hundred and seven words to introduce you and you have no idea who's talking about your standing he said that wasn't about to come an excellence in applied him I'm standing going I thought I was preaching I don't know who's preaching I don't even know what to say y'all let's just pray you know cuz you you realize it's flowery it's perfumey if you will it almost makes you feel like that that something bad is gonna happen because all this good just got said about you now as soon as I heard this past week I'll just shoot it straight we'll be honest soon as I heard the news of the situation that our president presented this past week I realize that some of y'all are sick and tired of hearing about it but I've got to get a biblical perspective into your life before you leave this place today understand when I heard the situation that's going on in our country and I heard all of this thing going on I'll be honest with you I prayed all I could do I'm standing in my workplace and nobody else was in the room and I just stopped and paused Jesus only you can satisfy only you know what's going on these words that have been spoken Lord you've got to help I don't mind telling ya I paused at that moment Lord protect my wife Lord protect my children protect my family my wife's family my church family God we need you give us strength I'll be honest with you I wasn't overcome with fear or intimidation I simply said Lord only you know what the word that's been spoken and how it's gonna hit the ears in the heart of the listener I realized God that I pray in the morning I pray at noontime and I pray at night but there's a world full of folk that ain't prayed their whole lives I don't know how they'll respond to this now stay with me I don't know I'm not sure of what else I can say except I prayed I'm not certain about where the information came from I wasn't sure about how it was going to be received but one thing I will tell you as a pastor of this congregation I thought of every single one of you how do I receive the words that that has been spoken to this nation and how then do I present to a church congregation that there are powers in our world and the word that's spoken it's a scare tactic it's something that's out there to cause you to wonder and ponder I don't minimize them I'm simply telling you you better put them in a proper perspective why because you as the Church of the Living God you cannot afford to freak out and run away you can't afford to crawl up under a rock and hope it all goes away but there's one thing you can do you can get on your face before a God that knows all about it and you can plead the blood of Jesus over every situation that you're about to walk through I've come to tell somebody today a word fitly spoken in this hour is for you to stand strong in the power of the Holy Ghost and pray ask your God for strength ask your Creator for encouragement open your mouth and begin to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ we got a whole bunch of silent prayer warriors out there I'm telling you Lord don't let me drag out a soapbox today I don't mind telling you standing in a counter at the checkout counter trying to buy coal a paper to bring that up because everybody's worried about it how you doing today man I'm highly blessed of the Lord good day to know God ob6 over 40 cents now all that junk I've been listening to walking through this store all the negativity I'm about to be swept into it brother Lorenzo but I won't stand here you better know the name of Jesus I'm opening my mouth to establish who I ain't nobody else I know I can praise Him in the life or I can I can Jeremiah the Old Testament prophet he wrote in lamentations 3 and 20 my soul still in remembrance and is humbled in me this I recall to my mind therefore have I hope it is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed because his Compassion's fell not they are new every morning great is thy faithfulness the Lord is my portion say it my soul therefore will I hope in him the Lord is good unto them that wait for him to the soul that seeketh him it is good it is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord Jeremiah penned the words he simply could establish this inside of me coming out of me I will declare great is thy faithfulness he sought the face of God and God answered him God moved in his circumstance I've come to declare to somebody today God is still present he surpasses the unknowns and I stand here today as a testament of what God can do you sit in this room today as a testament of what God can do I am certain of one thing and if everything falls apart around me I am still certain of one thing God is a good God God is a good God this past week brother give something I read just a little bit of history hmm y'all stay with me for a moment and I enjoy history I don't know much about it but I make it every day some of you caught it I begin to look at history books hmm and this is what I read he may know what a talmud is yeah that's where that's where understanding comes of men of old and prophetic words and and in words of wisdom and understanding this is what I read when I begin to discover about the tabernacle about the place where the people of God will meet let me share with you if I could for the next room come on in the house of God you need to understand something never was a fly seen in the slaughterhouse no woman ever miscarried because of the smell of the flesh that was being sacrificed never did the high priest suffer uncleanness on the Day of Atonement never did the rains extinguish the flames that were on the altar no wind prevailed over the pillar of cloud in the day as they followed it never did a defect find itself into the loaves of shewbread in the holy place as the people stood pressed together outside the tabernacle there was still room for them to bow on their face before God never did a scorpion or a serpent harm anybody in Jerusalem in the house of worship never did a child of God say that it's too congested in the house of worship today the people of God they always gather together with him in his name you gotta you gotta understand something a word fitly spoken it's so powerful for you your friends your neighbors your co-workers your family they're there running trying to find solution I declare to you today friend that it is still in Jesus it is still in the church house now I understand every every pastor has to do what he feels was right with his congregation I understand you've got to make tough choices in some areas because it's worse in some places than others I get that but I have said multiple times even from this sacred desk what will happen when the day comes when you cannot meet in this room y'all thought I was crazy now I will always be a church welcome to 2020 many congregations today are not meeting together I'll tell you I'm trying to keep my thumb on this some churches by the states decree have said you can't meet together now and so pastors are scrambling and they're sending out broadcast say we will livestream today watch it on your computer today get on your phone today and I prayed for honestly I saw that and I said Lord am i dumb for doing then happen I had last night I was that a special service and pastors are coming by you have in church yes you better believe due to the coronavirus we will have Church and we will gather together in the name of Jesus now in a couple of weeks from now I don't know how things will happen I don't I know no I do know this where the Samuel Mikey works on that front door I know where the light switch is and I don't need anything else I can do this at home I can do this here I can go out on the street listen carefully please if they forbid me to stand in this building and preach the word y'all need to know something this pulpit weighs about thirty-eight pounds I'm gonna drag it through that tall bay out that door out over that Street and I'll stand in the clear as loud as I can this is the day the Lord has made you can stop me from doing it there but I'll do it out here why because the only hope for the Gibson is the name of Jesus the only power is in the blood of Jesus Christ this is not the day to fall down short and to decide it's not worth it's time to give up no friend I rebuke that Fault in the name of Jesus some of you need to open your mouth and we're gonna serve the Lord mom and dad you need to let your children know it's okay baby Jesus over you I pray for you it's okay some of you husbands need to let your wife know I pray for you today sweetheart you go I'll do what you do the blood of Jesus is over you oh oh but pastor you gotta be wise and understanding I am if any one of you sitting in this room under the sound of my voice take the time at any moment and send me a text or call me and say pastor I want you to know I'm praying for you today do you want to know what effect that has on me when you mention my wife's name in prayer when you pray for my children you know what effect that has on me to know that you care to go before the throne room and say Lord bless my pastor today that means so much I want you to know there's a church family on your left side and your right side that's praying for you believing God for you standing in the gap for you that's good bad or ugly as the future is the only guarantee you have is in Jesus I need some help for the next couple of moments if I could brother Gibson would you please come and help me brother Horton did he leave Jurong come help me please brother Lorenzo would you come and help me please now you listen to me carefully please I don't have medicine I don't have a anti-this I don't have any of that I don't have anything but the power of prayer the blood of Jesus that works y'all listen to Pastor carefully but you need to know in your home where you live where you dwell where the enemy comes and tries to kill come on he's not gonna attack you in Walmart he's gonna wait do you get home and it's quiet and peaceful and he's gonna come up against you you need to know beyond the shadow of a doubt that in your home you can walk through that door and the power of the Spirit of God is there to say devil you are not coming in here do you want to know why in Deuteronomy or it was told you need to talk about this when they get up in the morning when they lay down at night you need to put it on the doorpost and put in this front let you you need to talk about it why because when those babies walk through that door they need to know when I get back in this door I'm coming back under the promise of an Almighty God I've been told about it mom and dad have prayed over me I have pled the blood of Jesus cover some of your homes are so full of trash and junk cuz you don't know what else to do I rebuke it and I'm gonna tell you if you're gonna stand in this hour you need to open your mouth and declare that God is your God he is in control he's the one calling the shots I'm not just talking about a virus in the world I'm talking about where you come on if you won't come to the house of God when there's a virus out there what are you gonna do when the enemy pounds your head with difficulties and trials sorry thank you I feel bad no joke I had sister Stacey our prayer coordinator she cut up prayer cost for me I asked her specifically bring prayer cloths we're administers we're gonna pray over every one of these cloths and I want you to take it's a piece of material it's just a piece of material but I know what a piece of material can do the reason you're sitting in that chair today because a piece of material was put over you because your grandmother did it it's the only reason you're sitting here today I know why you're sitting here buddy because you had a grandmother that put a piece of material on you I know I know the only reason you're here Logan is because somebody put a piece of material on you somebody put it on you somebody put your bet somebody did it work in your life and they prayed that's what I asked you to do it's gonna have some oil on there's no pixie dust there's no magic potion to it don't sell this on eBay you'll be so mad it won't bring a dime but you go to the front door your house and however you see fit you put it there you got 47 doors going out of your house you're going in each stack I'm telling you y'all think I'm foolish but I'm not Danny tell me the power prayer cloth over a visor in a truck tell me the power of prayer cloth straight state to a pillowcase the Spirit of the Lord gives us peace gives us guidance and direction the Spirit of the Lord is with the church the church is still the safest place to be I know there's people in here and I realize there's issues in here I know there's problems in here it's because we're people you ain't gotta like everybody but you better love them there's a big difference I'm guilty I just tell my brother I love you enough to eat the heaven I don't how much that is but I make sure I cover my base just enough to get there but listen to me carefully this church can be your family brethren come help me church stand with me come on close come on close church I want you to pray right now in the name of Jesus aha in the name of Jesus obeying your word believing God the power of prayers I plead the blood of Jesus over these prayer cloths right now every home every heart every place they go in Jesus name Lord I ask your word to be powerful in their lives Jesus you can protect you can heal you can deliver Lord you can set free right now I rebuke the enemy and I plead the blood of the Lamb in Jesus name she lived oh sure show yourself strong Lord in this hour oh God you are the protector of the church it is your church in the name and the name in the name of Jesus hallelujah come on church pray come on give them out give them to everybody here take them give them come on you need one or two of those right now believe in it come on believe in it come on Jesus I believe you lord I don't have the answers but I know that even in the midst of question sickness and disease that you can work in my situation remain standing please Jesus Jesus Jesus oh come on somebody's faith is growing right now everybody get one come on pass them out there's plenty to go around the name of Jesus we like any hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah come on lift your hand we got some more we can make some more right here in the name of Jesus come on some of your parents need to know this right here is what's gonna hold your child to the kingdom some of you kids need to know this right here is we come in the name of Jesus we believe in the power of the name of Jesus a word that's rightly fitly exactly spoken in this day God can change everything in any situation they Lou you right now pray desperately need protection thank God you know what's going on there I have family Lord in South Florida God you can be with him even if I can Lord I've got missionary friends all over the globe that are searching today for protection and trying to help God today breathe a word to them I pray the name of Jesus the name of Jesus Lord I pray right now in Jesus name wherever our president is at this moment dispatching aims or to go to him get up close to him lord only you know God where we're headed as a nation Jesus breathe right now Lord I pray give wisdom give guidance and direction Lord I pray a word fitly spoken correctly put into place that's such value and we're gonna gather in this altar we're gonna pray together as a church family I want you to move out of your chair and begin to announcement came through and I present Lord now there's a weekend and I understand the school's dour and then a reminder came brother Daniel a reminder came to me Christiane you need to be encouraged God will never let anybody get here who he doesn't want to be here if it took 40 years for those cats to walk around the desert before they finally went through that was God's plan so this coming weekend Friday night dr.
