We Win

You can be seated if you'll preach with me today. Man, this is a great day to be alive living in the house of God. Thank you singers and musicians so much. Thank you. Somebody look at your neighbor and say, "I'm glad you're sitting with me today because I need your help." Time moving on. Time is move. We are smack dab in the middle of summer. Some of you parents and teachers are just thrilled about back to school. Yeah, all the students are anticipating a great great time to get out of summer vacation and go back to school. But all of us today are in the journey of life. life is happening. Get out of bed in the morning and you get this entire range of possibilities that could happen. How many thought today when you climbed out of bed that you'd be sitting in this room with your neighbor sitting next to you? Huh?

Some of y'all had to change seats because it wasn't in your design, right? Anybody here like to get a reward for a job well done? Yeah. You like to You like to do good. you like to interact with people. Um, some of us in our life, we are living in the top of all the mountains and we're just loving it. Some of us maybe not. But part of life is making payments on things that you purchased on terms, dealing with those that you live with, both the good and the bad. Uh, you walk every day with the end of the day in mind. Anybody get out of bed this morning knowing how the day was going to end? Anybody get up and flip a coin? Say, "We'll see." Uh, come on now. Any of you uh husbands and wives, did you climb out of bed and go brush your teeth and then look at one another and go, "All right, it's going to be a good day." Any No, no.

You You make you make plans. You start the work day. Most Well, don't show your hand. Most of you guys go to work. You clock in or clock out, whatever you do on your job. And the majority of you are already before you walk into the place of business where you work. You're already considering the end of the day. It's okay. Raise your hand and say, "Yeah, that's me, man. When I get off work today, I got to go. I got to go do this. I'm going to get done. I'm going to come out. I got to get all these people. I got to go to then I've got to go get this. And if I have time, I'm going to go." How many you know what I'm talking about? Yeah. That's what life does. You start the day already knowing the end of day. I I don't know about you, but when we had children living in our house, it was such a joy for them to go to bed.

Uh for them to be involved in family time, spending valuable time with them, fixing broken down stuff, re-evaluating choices made. Anybody ever have buyer's remorse and then you got to deal with it? Should have never bought that microwave or whatever it is. Sometimes sometimes in the midst of all of life, you actually find time for God. You find time for God to speak and to move within your journey. Life sometimes has the ability to break down. How many you know that's true? Next thing you know, you arrive at a moment of possible retirement and slowing down. And that's where I'm at. Anybody else? Come on retirey almosters out there is sure nurse people things. Okay. No. All right. Let's see what baby it's just us. You you you you all of a sudden show up at a place in life and you all know the pastor says this all the time.

Whatever you do, don't blink. Life happens so very quickly and things pass and next thing you know you're standing there looking wondering what just happened over the last 40 years. And man, here we are. Some of us, we simply are looking for the finish line. Now, I I'm praying that I get another 30 or 40 years to that. I mean, what would it be like to be a hundred? Wow, that'd be so interesting. You could say, man, I beat all of my peers. There's two of us left and I'm going to make it past I mean, you know, they don't have a lot of peers around them anymore. Why? Because life has lived, been lived, and they have come to a place, y'all. Stay with me. They have come to a place where now everything happened so quickly and everything happened with such purpose. Now they're at the end, and they're wondering, was it worth it?

Did I make the right choices? The fact still remains, the truth is is we don't know how long nor how late in the game that we find oursselfves even right now. I'm not trying to stand here today and put fear in anybody. But I'm telling you, there are very, very few guarantees in life. One thing is for sure that sooner or later the choices that you make are going to come to you. Some are going to come very nicely packaged and wrapped up and say, "You did good here. You invested that much and now you get a trillion dollars there. Go sit and talk to Elon." You guys are too. And you know, some of y'all are were hoping for that, right? Some of us for a lifetime we have tried to figure out how that we are going to make choices then just simply get us through a night get us through a journey that we have taken.

Have you ever been sick with a cold and wondered if it will ever end? Come on men don't act like you're all that. I know men do terrible things when they're sick. They just sit and moan and groan. Anybody know what I'm talking about? Yeah. The wives are sitting. They're so calm right now. Thank you. You ever walked in the beauty of the outdoors only to discover that the distance that you walked out into the beauty, now you got to turn around and walk back and you're not so excited. So much affects us in the dayto-day in which we live. You brace for the trip of life and then things begin to unfold and you've got to make choices and decisions. Question that I'll ask today for the sake of this message. Have you ever dreaded the morning? Uh, did you not want to see the sunrise?

Because with that slash of light coming across the sky, something was going to be brought to you that you may or may not have been prepared for. And yet, you get up, you wash your face, brush your teeth hopefully, and and put things in order. You face it, the situation, the circumstance comes at you and it does its job. as it departs and you find yourself sitting looking at what just happened and unfolded in your life. You weren't prepared for it, but yet somehow you you survived it. Some of you are sitting here today and you shouldn't be because choices and decisions perhaps that you have made should have brought you to a death or should have brought you into a really bad place. But some of you sit here today as living testimonies of the working of the mercy and the grace of an almighty God that knows all things. Come on, somebody.

SOME OF YOU SHOULD NOT BE SITTING HERE TODAY in your right mind because of the the stories and the things that you have done. And it could have been very very terrible today. BUT BECAUSE GOD GOT IN YOUR LIFE AND YOU LET him do something, there's a situation that unfolded where you should have done lost your mind or should have given up and walked away and washed your hands of it. But yet today, you're sitting here in this room. You're able to lift YOUR HANDS IN THE PRESENCE OF A HOLY GOD. SOME OF Y'ALL ARE STARING THE DEVIL IN THE FACE, TELLING HIM, "I TOLD YOU I WAS GOING TO BE ALL RIGHT. I JUST DIDN'T KNOW HOW I WAS GOING TO GET HERE." SOME OF Y'ALL ARE LOOKING THE DEVIL IN THE EYE RIGHT NOW. HE'S SHAKING AND TREMBLING CUZ HE AIN'T SURE WHAT'S COMING OUT OF YOUR MOUTH NEXT.

SOME OF Y'ALL ARE THIS CLOSE TO A SHOUT AND A REJOICING IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD BECAUSE SOME WAY, SOMEHOW, AND SOME DETERMINATION, YOU ARE HERE TODAY TO SAY, "THE LORD'S BEEN GOOD TO ME. HE'S BEEN BETTER TO ME THAN I'VE BEEN TO MYSELF. THEREFORE, I'M GOING TO LOVE THE LORD IN THE SITUATION THAT I'M IN." HEY, DEVIL, BACK UP. I'M AN OVERCOMER BY MY TESTIMONY. HERE YOU ARE TODAY. THE JOURNEY OF LIFE HAS BROUGHT you to this place. Every day comes, we make choices in the coming of that day and the next day comes. THE WORRY HAS SUBSIDED. THINGS HAVE CHANGED. The place where YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN WIPED OUT, done away with. Instead, YOU'RE STANDING THERE SAYING, "NOT SURE HOW I got through it, BUT I KNOW THAT GOD BROUGHT ME THROUGH IT." COME ON. I DECLARE TO SOMEBODY TODAY, DON'T FORGET YOUR TESTIMONY OF WHERE GOD HAS BROUGHT YOU FROM.

I stand at this sacred desk today with a WORD FOR SOMEBODY. YOU NEED TO REMEMBER THE GOODNESS OF GOD IN YOUR LIFE. OH, COME ON. AREN'T YOU SICK AND TIRED UH OF THE ENEMY LYING TO YOU UH AND DISTRACTING YOU UH AND TRYING TO TAKE YOU OUT UH YOU NEED TO STAND FIRMLY? PLANT YOUR FEET UH IN FRONT OF THE DEVIL HIMSELF AND SAY, "YOU THOUGHT I WAS GOING DOWN. UH BUT I GOT TO PRAISE. UH I GOT TO PRAISE. UH I GOT TO PRAISE. UH AND I GOT TO LET IT OUT. UH I CAME TODAY TO THE HOUSE OF THE LORD. UH NOT FOR YOU AND NOT FOR YOU. UH, BUT I CAME UH BECAUSE THE LORD GOD HAS BEEN GOOD TO ME. GOD'S BEEN GOOD TO ME. HEY, EVERY ONE OF US, WE ARE WELL ACQUAINTED WITH THE CHALLENGES OF OUR CHOICES. NOBODY'S EXEMPT FROM IT. EVERYBODY'S GOING TO UNDERSTAND THERE'S A WAGE TO BE PAID IN WHAT YOU HAVE INVESTED IN. GOOD OR BAD.

UH GOD IS WORKING ON THE SCENE IN YOUR LIFE. UH I'VE COME TO TELL SOMEBODY TODAY, WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR IS THE PEACEUH THAT PASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING. WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR TODAY UH IS JOY UH THAT'S UNSPEAKABLE AND FULL OF GLORY. WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR TODAY UH IS AN ANSWER FROM AN ALMIGHTY GOD UH TO COME UP AND PULL YOU NEAR. THE JOURNEY YOU ARE ON HAS BROUGHT YOU TO THIS PLACE. LIFE IS HAPPENING AND GOD IS IN THE MIDDLE OF IT. The Lord God has been good to us. Thank you, brother Sam, for the reminder earlier. God's been good to us. I'm gonna take a side note. I got my note right there. This past week, vacation Bible school, I was here every night. And I sat in that cafe and did nothing.

And for somehow and for some reason, unbeknownst to me, this entire group of folk got together and begin to put creativity and action behind it and begin to put up stuff that was decorative and begin to do things on the WALLS AND DO THINGS IN THIS ROOM. And I sat over there in that cafe and I don't mind saying I did that intentionally for my I wasn't showing my laziness. I was y'all believe it if you want to. I WAS SITTING IN THERE worshiping the Lord God because there were so many years IF IT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN IT WAS GOING TO HAVE TO BE THESE TWO HANDS and this brain that ain't very creative at all. BUT I SAT IN THERE THE LAST THREE OR FOUR NIGHT SAID, "LORD GOD, YOU'VE BEEN GOOD TO US. LOOK AT THIS MULTITUDE OF FOLK THAT YOU'VE PUT A CREATIVE BREATH IN.

UH THEY WALKED IN HERE, LORD, AND THEY BEGIN TO DECORATE AND DO IT MIGHT NOT MEAN ANYTHING TO ANYBODY, BUT THERE'S A SEVENYEAR-OLD TODAY. THERE'S A 10YEAR-OLD TODAY THAT CAN SAY, UH, I WENT TO VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL AND IT WAS ALL PRETTY DECORATED. IT WAS ALL WELL DONE. BUT MORE THAN THAT, I DON'T KNOW WHY UH I FELT SOMETHING UH WHEN THEY BEGIN TO TALK ABOUT JESUS UH THAT I'VE NEVER FELT BEFORE. YOU WANT TO KNOW SOMETHING? I STAND HERE TODAY REJOICING BECAUSE SOMEBODY GOT IT. SOMEBODY REALIZED IT AIN'T ABOUT THE PASTOR OR HIS WIFE, BUT IT'S ABOUT JESUS AND WHAT HE'S DONE. I'LL WORK FOR HIM. I'LL LOVE HIM. I'LL SERVE HIM. I'LL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES. Matthew chapter 5. I got the clock. It's 100 right now, y'all. Okay. Ain't that what that number is? Sorry. 1:00. Matthew 5. Look at this. It's in red letter in your Bible. 43.

You've heard that it hath been said, "Thou shalt love thy neighbor. Hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Uhhuh. love your enemy. Bless them that curse you. Do good to them that hate you. Pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you, that ye may be the children of your father which is in heaven. For he maketh his son to rise on the evil and on the good. Listen. and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love them which love you, what reward have ye? Do not even the publicans the same? If you salute your brethren only, WHAT DO YOU DO MORE THAN OTHERS? Do not even the publicans so be you therefore perfect even as your father which is in heaven is perfect. The perfect here is not the pristine moment of arriving at a place where there's no longer change.

The perfect is translated here in the maturing in the process of everyday decisions and everyday choices saying look what God has done. Come on. I I've come today and I declare to all of us sitting in here and if you're online today, I'm reaching for you as well. Some of us have gotten to a place in our walk with God or in searching for a walk with God that we think for some reason we should be exempt from some things and that is my friend simply a lie from the enemy. The words of Jesus will declare it to you. Love your neighbor. Do good to those who are only good to you. Uhhuh. Yeah. Be nice to those that show nice first. See that? That's the 2026 motto. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You know what the golden rule has taken a a tent and a tinge of a little bit of darkness, if you will.

You know, we we we we WERE TAUGHT AS KIDS AND again this older generation, we were taught to uh to be kind to folk, to be nice to people, to put others first, do unto others as you'd have them to do unto you. It was it was the teaching and the man and my mom and dad put that into me as a child growing up and and I wondered at that sometimes because of off times I could have much easier been able to deal a blow to somebody and taken care of a situ situ situation. Come on somebody you know what I'm talking about. Then as I begin to get in the work the word of the Lord and the work of the Lord I begin to notice that the position of rain is not different. It rains on the just the unjust. So the position of rain is not the issue. The issue is simply this. Are you doing it justly what your life is or unjustly what your life is?

Some of you sitting in THIS ROOM, SOME OF US HAVE ALL OF A SUDDEN DECIDED THAT THERE IS AN INCREDIBLE TESTIMONY IN OUR LIVES IN THE JOURNEY THAT WE'VE lived that we feel compelled to share with others. And a lot of times, listen carefully to pastor. You guys know that I'm an observer and I'm a listener and and I don't have a seat to sit in because it might be called scornful. I I say this. I stand on the side. That's just how that's me. That's what I'm doing. But I'm also watching and I'm listening to how the people of God are interacting with the people of God. And I will simply TELL YOU THIS THAT SOME CONSIDER THE FACT THAT THEY ARE SUFFERING TO BE ALMOST A BADGE OF HONOR. AND THEY WILL testify to that and they will speak into the atmosphere the negativity OF WHERE THEY ARE STANDING IN THEIR LIFE.

never perhaps reflecting ON THE FACT THAT THE NEGATIVE THAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT AND SHARING WITH SOMEONE ELSE. Listen to me. Stay with me. Don't unplug yet. YOU ARE SIMPLY TRYING TO GET SOMEBODY TO PRAY for your problem. AND ALSO STANDING THERE NEXT TO THAT PERSON THAT YOU MIGHT BE SHARING THIS NEGATIVE event with is who would have thought it but the enemy. Well, I didn't know that was going on in their life because he can't. The devil can't read your mind. The thought and the intent of man is not in the mind of the enemy. That's on God's mind. Stay with me. The enemy is simply an eavesdropper. Really? I didn't know you had those sins because I couldn't see them because they're under the blood. And you're bringing back stuff that's happened years ago. And you're dealing with things that you never dealt with as a child maybe.

And and IT'S ALL JUSTIFIED BECAUSE THAT'S what our modern culture says. Talk about it. Discuss it. Get it out in the open. Yeah. And I understand that sentiment. I do. So many times generations past they boxed it and put it in storage only to be brought out at convenient times. Stay with me. Stay with me. This is a heart of a pastor and a heart of love today. And the woes that are being discussed so many times can turn TO A NEGATIVE PITY PARTY. HAS ANYONE EVER ATTENDED A pity party? Man, it's one of the coolest things to go be a part of. There ain't nothing like it. The guest list is pretty short. You've invited a bunch of folk, but quite honestly, they don't care because they are doing their best to send out their own invitations. Yeah. Okay. I'll come to yours. you come to mind. Come on. Y'ALL KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE. YOU KNOW, Y'ALL y'all know here at CAC, pastor don't like to do testimony services. There's a reason pastor didn't care for that. Cuz as a kid growing up, Brother Rob, it was interesting. I didn't know about the You did what? You going to try to pray to make it all the way to what? Come on. That oldtimer. Y'all pray I'll make it all the way. What? You ever after what you just said? Where you trying to go? Devil been on my back all week long. Praise his holy name. Boy, that was probably a pause there that you didn't emphasize. You might should already pause. Bless the Lord's. Come on. Y'all know IT IS I'M SOUNDING LIKE AN OLD person because I getting there. But this is what I've discovered in humanity.

You don't have to go find a place to air your laundry, dirty or clean. You don't have to go look for a place for somebody there. There's not a building out there. There's not a there's not a facility out there. There's not a store out there. There's not something out there that you can actually Google online. Where can I go and I can be all negative and gross and all and tell everything on everybody so that I I feel better. There ain't no such place to that that I'm telling you this for this reason because you can talk about all the bad things on your job. You can talk about them at home. You can talk about those things in your car. You can talk about those things at with THE BARISTA. YOU CAN TALK ABOUT THOSE THINGS IN the store.

YOU CAN TALK ABOUT ALL THE DIRTY DUMB STUFF all you want TO BECAUSE IN LIFE THAT'S WHAT'S HAPPENED IN THE JOURNEY OF LIFE. BUT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE JUST AND THE UNJUST is how they SEE THE RAIN. IT'S HOW THEY LOOK AT the rain. CUZ IF YOU'RE ONE OF THE ONES, IF YOU WILL, IN this day and age that feels like the whole world is against you and nobody loves you and you're going to eat SOME WORMS, YOU'VE COME TO A PLACE WHERE THIS HOUSE IS NOT GOING TO BE THE PLACE OF WOE. THIS HOUSE IS NOT GOING TO BE THE PLACE WHERE YOU COULD COME IN AND SIMPLY GO THROUGH THE MOTIONS OF TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW YOU CAN TALK YOUR WAY OUT OF A SITUATION. BUT I'VE COME TODAY WITH THE HELP OF THE LORD TO SIMPLY TELL SOMEBODY IT'S TIME FOR SOMEONE TO CHANGE THEIR WOE INTO A WIN.

IT'S TIME FOR SOMEBODY TO DECIDE IT'S RAINING and it CAN RAIN ON THE JUST AND THE UNJUST. BUT WHAT I CHOOSE TO BELIEVE IS THIS. IF IT'S RAINING ON MY LIFE RIGHT NOW, GOD'S NOT TRYING TO SWAMP ME OUT. HE'S NOT TRYING TO WASH ME AWAY. HE'S NOT TRYING TO DO AWAY WITH THE THINGS THAT I'M DOING. BUT INSTEAD, UH, HE'S REIGNING ON ME, UH, BECAUSE HE LOVES ME. UH, HE KNOWS WHERE I AM. UH, HE CARES ABOUT ME. UH, HE'S NUMBERED THE HAIRS OF MY HEAD. UH, HE KNOWS WHAT'S GOING ON IN MY LIFE. IF SOMEBODY WANTS TO GET BIBLICAL, LET'S DO IT. CONSIDER THE LILY OF THE FIELD. THEY DON'T TOIL. THEY DON'T SPIN. OH, BUT THERE'S NOTHING UH LIKE THE SPLENDOR OF A FLOWER IN THE FIELD THAT GOD SIMPLY SAID, "LET IT BEH." AND IT IS. CONSIDER THE SPARROW. HE DOESN'T HAVE TO GO FIND THINGS. GOD SIMPLY PROVIDES IT.

IF THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY FROM THE THRONE ROOM OF HEAVEN HAS DECIDED THE PLANTS AND THE BIRDS, I'LL TAKE CARE OF THEM. HOW ABOUT SOMEBODY UH WHO CHOOSES TO GET UP IN THE MORNING UH AND TO SHAKE THEMSSELF AND SAY, "I WILL NOT LIVE UH IN A WORLD OF WOE, BUT INSTEAD UH I'M LIVING IN VICTORY. I WIN. SEE, first thing. Oh Lord, is it raining? Oh Lord. Oh Lord, it's raining out. Did I roll the windows up my car? See, some of y'all like, I don't remember. All right, let's go old school for a minute. when it rained when he was younger. Some of you old folk, my mom, her first first word out of her mouth, "Did I get the laundry off the line?" See that? That's in the day, Tim, when they used to take a rope and tie it on this stick, walk across it. It's called clothes line. Oh, y'all just don't even know. That's what rain did.

That's what rain did then. That's what rain did then. We're living in a day today where the woe has gotten so big that it's easier to talk about the negative. It's easier to talk about the bad. Come on. You got a bigger party around you when you're talking about all the things that could have, should have, would. And the truth of the matter is this. God is good to you. Hebrews, notice the writer in chapter 13 of verse 5. Let your conversation be without covetousness. Be content with such things as you have. For he saith, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee, so that we may boldly say, the Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do to me. Listen to this. Don't stop there. Don't you stop there. Keep on reading. Come on. Use your English skills. Spanish if it's that way.

Remember them which have the rule over you and who have spoken unto you the word of God whose faith follow considering the end of their conversation. Jesus Christ. You ready for it? The same Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ. The same yesterday and today and forever. If we honestly actually truly believe that he doesn't change, then I wonder, stay with me for a moment. It's one three right now. I wonder sometimes if the stress and the attitude and the actions of what we are doing have actually caused us to believe a lie of the enemy. The distractions that we're dealing with. Are we more focused on the woe or are we yet ready for the win? It could it be today that you are living in victory but you don't notice it because your eyes are down instead of up. It might actually be today that the things going on in your life.

God, I said this. He might actually know what he's doing. Uh, and what you're going through, uh, is going to have something that reaches far beyond you. Uh, if you can simply show up at the house of God, uh, and with expectation, walk into the assembly deciding, you know what? With anticipation, I come today. I am so thrilled about THE POSSIBILITY OF WHAT MIGHT JUST HAPPEN IN THIS ROOM. COME ON. I believe there are miracles sitting on these chairs today. I believe that the MIRACULOUS HAND OF GOD CAN MOVE IN so many ways in OUR LIVES. UH BUT HERE THIS PREACHER TODAY UH WE WOULD RATHER DECLARE OUR woes and what we're going through and forget about the FACT THAT IF GOD SHOWED UP ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

I WONDER TODAY UH WHAT WOULD TRANSFORM IN OUR TIME TOGETHER EVERY SUNDAY AND EVERY Wednesday if we were to WALK INTO THE DOORHOUSE AND DECIDE I AIN'T COMING IN HERE ASKING FOR ANYTHING. I'VE BEEN TALKING to God ALL WEEK LONG. UH HE KNOWS THE THINGS I'M GOING THROUGH. HE KNOWS THE JOURNEY THAT I'M ON AND THE PATH THAT I'M ON. UH BUT INSTEAD, I AM NOT FORSAKING THE ASSEMBLING OF OUR OF OURSELVES TOGETHER, ESPECIALLY NOW THAT WE'RE CLOSE TO THE END. UH WHAT WOULD IT BE LIKE IF WE WERE TO COME INTO THE HOUSE OF THE LORD AND RACE TO AN ALTAR AND DECIDE NOW, GOD? UH I'VE JUST COME TO LOVE YOU. I JUST WANT TO LOVE YOU. UH I'M NOT ASKING YOU FOR NOTHING. I KNOW THAT IF I BLESS YOUR NAME, YOU'RE GOING TO BE HERE. AND IF WE CAN GET YOU HERE, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN. I'M TIRED OF LAYING ON AN ALTAR SAYING, "AH, GET ME OUT OF THIS. GOD, MAKE A WAY.

WHAT IF YOU WOULD JUST CHANGE IT?" AND YOU WOULD DECIDE THE RAIN'S COMING DOWN. BUT THE JUST SAYS, "OH, GOD, THERE'S A REASON THAT YOU'RE DOING IT. I'M GOING TO RECEIVE IT. I'M GOING TO COMMIT TO YOU. UH, I'M GOING TO LOVE YOU. UH, I'M GOING TO SERVE YOU." SOME OF US, SOME OF US, SOME OF US HAVE GOTTEN A MISCONCEPTION OF GOD. PASTOR, you don't know what I'm going through. If you knew, if you just knew how rough AND TOUGH AND TUMBLY IT IS RIGHT NOW IN MY LIFE, IT'S JUST CHAOS. I TELL YOU, IT'S JUST CHAOS. THERE'S so much stuff going on. It just harded up. I DON'T KNOW. BUT OH, I COME TO THE HOUSE OF THE LORD. So apparently I'm gonna make it. I ain't judging. I don't have to judge. I know people. Come on. I know me. Come on. I I come to church sometimes, Brother Rob, and I'm wonder why I'm here. There. I said it. Let me be fair.

Y'all come sometime wonder why you're here. I'm just okay. It's honest. Honest. Huh? I'm not mad or mean. I'm simply telling you that if God is actually in this room, is there anything too hard for our God? Is there any question that we would wonder if he'd have an answer for? Do you think he's shocked at your de demise and all the junk you've Do you think that it shocks him the fact that you made some really really bad choices over your life and now you're standing here saying, "Lord God, I wish that you would come on. There's something about being bold. There's something about contentment. There's something about not having fear. There's something about knowing that he's the same yesterday, today, and forever. There's something about the facts of who Jesus is. He doesn't fail. He doesn't know how to fail, nor fall, nor falter.

He doesn't know how to listen to me carefully. If you will read the life of Christ, there was something that happened while he was walking to the skull, the hill of the skull, something happened. He fell under the weight of the beam. Am I right? Am I right? And he didn't stay there. But something happened on that day. The enemy didn't touch him. The enemy didn't have to. But what the enemy of that day, the Roman soldiers did was what? Hey, Simon. Come here, buddy. You're here to do what? Good. pick this cross up and walk with it. JESUS DIDN'T SAY, "GET MY CROSS AND LET'S COME ON." JESUS SAID, "THAT'S WHAT THIS IS GOING TO BE ABOUT." THAT'S WHAT KNOWING ME IS ABOUT. IT'S TAKING UP YOUR CROSS DAILY AND FOLLOWING AFTER HIM. BUT WE WANT TO FORGET THAT PART.

SOME OF US THINK THAT ALL OF A SUDDEN UH IF WE CAN WIN THE LOTTERY NOT WITH THE MONEY BUT THE LOTTERY OF LIFE UH AND WE CAN MAKE ENOUGH GOOD DECISIONS AND WE CAN MAKE ENOUGH GOOD CHOICES THAT SOMEHOW THOSE CHOICES AND THOSE DECISIONS AND THOSE WORKSH YOU'VE COME TOO LATE TO TELL I'VE WATCHED THE POOREST OF POOR COME TO THE HOUSE OF GOD WITH THOSE SHOES ON TORN CLOTHES DIRT ON THEIR FACE SMILE ON THEIR MOUTH SAYING HEY GOD YOU'VE BEEN GOOD TO ME YOU'VE BEEN GOOD TO ME. YOU'VE BEEN GOOD TO ME. I've watched the BROKEN AND THE DOWN AND OUT. I I'VE WATCHED THEM STAND IN THE RAIN, if you will, of what's HAPPENING IN THEIR LIVES. BUT INSTEAD OF THE WOE IS ME, I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING. THEY STOOD OVER HERE AND SAY, "HEY, I WIN." It's time that we change our woe into a win. There is something about being optimistic.

You know that God is neither pessimistic nor optimistic. God simply says, "You know what? I was here before you and I'll be here after you. I thought all of this into effect and everything that's around you was my plan." And here we sit today in 2026 and we look at what God is doing. I wonder if we had a mind shift. I know that the last several times that the Lord has dealt with me about I've talked to some of my pastor friends. Why is God constantly over the last several months putting this thought in my mind? This this understanding in my mind and and the pastor friends of mine are I don't know but it's the same thing. I'm trying to get away from and go to a new topic and God draws me back and it's the same thought. Come on. It's time the church be the church and quit worrying about what we do or do not have.

I am convinced and I know that this is going to be a word of faith right now. But I am convinced that the Lord God Almighty has every every dime, every million trillion dollars we need to finish this facility and a hundred more just like it. It is not about the money. It is about us deciding we're going to get up and work for the kingdom. We're going to roll up our sleeves and do the work of God. Some of y'all in here, you don't have the least bit of talent to do what you do. But all of a sudden, God shows up in your situation and you begin to work and do. Come on. I I could talk to the MEN RIGHT NOW. YOU'VE GOT JOBS THAT YOU AIN'T smart enough TO HAVE. YOU DON'T HAVE THE INTELLECT NOR THE CAPABILITY. BUT GOD CAME IN AND SAID, "HEY, I'm going to bless you and I'm going to provide for you." COME ON.

SOME OF Y'ALL SAW THE PINK SLIPS COMING AND THEY WERE LAYING people off and YOU JUST KNEW THAT YOUR NAME WAS ON one of those list, BUT THEY COME PAST YOU AND HAND YOU ANOTHER SLIP SAYING, "GO TO THE OFFICE. YOU GOT A PROMOTION." COME ON, SOMEBODY. YOU know what I'm TALKING ABOUT. THE LORD GOD HAS BLESSES THOSE WHO RECOGNIZE WHO THEY ARE. I WIN. The letter to the Corinthians, the second one written, chapter number four. Listen to this. Listen to what the ex persecutor of the church said. Verse seven. But we have this treasure in earth and vessels that the excellency of the power may be of God and not of us. We are troubled on every side yet not distressed. We are perplexed but not in despair. PERSECUTED BUT NOT FORSAKEN.

CAST DOWN BUT NOT destroyed always bearing about the body in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body what Paul was referring to is there are things that we go through there are choices roads we walk decisions we make and things that happen but I've come to tell you that we are not destroyed we are not pushed down we are not thrown aunder but instead said, he continues in verse 17, "For our light affliction, WHICH IS BUT for a moment WORKKETH FOR US A FAR MORE EXCEEDING and eternal WEIGHT OF GLORY, WHILE WE LOOK NOT TO THE THINGS WHICH ARE SEEN, BUT THE THINGS WHICH ARE NOT SEEN. FOR THE THINGS WHICH ARE SEEN ARE TEMPORAL, BUT THE THINGS WHICH ARE NOT SEEN ARE ETERNAL." IS THERE ANYBODY IN THE HOUSE TODAY THAT WILL DECIDE, UH, I KNOW THAT I'M TROUBLED. I KNOW THAT I'M PERPLEXED.

I KNOW THAT I'M PERSECUTED AND I KNOW THAT I AM CAST DOWN. UH BUT I'M NOT GOING TO WALK IN THE WOES. UH I'M NOT GOING TO WALK IN THE WOULD OF SHOULDS. UH INSTEAD, I'M GOING TO CHOOSE UH TO TALK ABOUT THE GOOD THINGS OF GOD. UH TO TALK ABOUT WHAT HE'S DOING IN MY LIFE. UH TO TALK ABOUT HOW HE'S BLESSING MY WIFE. UH TO TALK ABOUT HOW HE'S BLESSING MY CHILDREN. TO TALK ABOUT HOW HE'S PROVIDED FOR MY GRANDCHILDREN. TO TALK ABOUT HOW THE GOOD THINGS OF GOD UH ARE WORKING IN SPITE OF ME. TO DISCOVER IN MYSELF UH THAT IF I'LL SIMPLY LOVE GOD UH IT DON'T MATTER WHAT HAPPENS AROUND ME UH GOD'S FAITHFULNESS WILL SHINE THROUGH. IS THERE ANYBODY TODAY THAT WILL SAY UH I'M TIRED OF THE NEGATIVE. I'M TIRED OF THE WOE INSTEAD I WILL DECLARE IN THE FACE OF MY ENEMY I WIN. I WIN. I WIN. Stand to your feet, would you please? I'm back to this same topic. I am convinced that the church of the living God is not a weak, doubled down, worthless group of people that are simply trying to find something to better themselves in a world of a mess. I'm convinced that the church of the living God is absolutely that. It is his. I will say I have shown up at funerals before and watched people get put into the ground knowing God could have healed them, knowing God could have changed the circumstance. But I also knew that the plan of God is dependent on him and not me. I've taken phone calls from the hurting pastor. I don't know what to do in this case and I'm at my wit's end with my loved one or my family member, whatever.

As much as I would love to help and I would love to pull that person out of the mess that they've made, I've discovered, Brother George, that God knows more than I do. And instead of praying for God to take them out of it, I've had to change my prayer. God, I love you and I believe in you. And I know that you are doing great things and they're going to win, Lord. They're going to win. The victory is not dependent on who you are. The victory is his. I mean, what's the very worst that could happen in your life? Some of you would very quickly say dying would be the worst. And you would be right if you had no hope of glory. Paul said it like this. For me to die is gain. I I don't I'm not looking to die tonight or tomorrow, Lord. You know, I'm not. But I know this to be true.

The mental place that I take is Lord, you know, I probably This past week, to be honest, this past week, I probably should have died in some crazy accident. Sister Jean, I was in the car driving when that car in front of me crossed the yellow line. But I didn't have time to negotiate terms with myself. I didn't even have time to simply say, "Wow, what a nice car coming at me." I didn't even have time to say, "I bet they're texting." I could only do one thing. I barely had time to say, "Jesus." And that car goes by and I'm I probably should have been smarter and been all scared. Oh Lord, what just happened? But there's so many things in our life that I haven't even I didn't know the enemy was standing there with a big stick to hit me over the head. I I didn't know, brother Nath. I didn't know. I didn't know.

I I didn't know there's this great big old giant angel standing there going. I didn't see him. What I do know is this. No matter what happens in my life, no matter how things h see, I have to I have to watch myself because to say things that are positive and encouraging in my mind. Then I got said, "What's going to happen this week to fight back against me?" So many of us are guilty. Yeah. Yeah. You're waiting on that other shoe to drop. I don't know what that means. Just a one-legged person. I don't know. I don't know what that means. Just waiting for the other shoe. Brother Horton. Just waiting. What's that really mean? Does that mean God's good for one shoe? I know my mind works a lot. I'm sitting here going, I don't REALLY MAKE SENSE. BUT I DO know what this means. I know right now I watched a tribe of angels walk into this room.

I can see you. They came into this room Their hands are open and they're ready. Whatever the Lord would ask, we may out see him. Some of you brought so much trouble in this room today. There's there's the spirit of the Lord here today to say, "I I can help you with that. I can help you with that." Some physical problems are in this room today. If you believe God can heal you, but your doubt has refused for him to come in and change you because it would change your woe to win. The angels of the Lord are camped around this room right now. Would you come to an altar? Come on, somebody. Would you come to an altar? This is not a mystical thing. This is not a strange thing. Come on. Would you come lift your voice to the Lord right now? Some of you need to get past and beyond who you are.

All the junk that you've brought into this room, you need to let God have it. Don't consider it strange cuz the angels of the Lord encamp round about those who will love him, trust him, and serve him. Come on, somebody expect it today. Lord, I need a touch from you. Lord, I pray for ministering angels to help me. Lord, come on, somebody. Your broken heart needs healed today. Your your life that's a disaster needs a touch from the Lord today. There are ministering spirits in this room. I believe that the Lord can speak right now into your situation. Come on, somebody. Would you reach for him right now? Jesus. Jesus. Come on. If you don't know what else to say, say, "Jesus, I know you can touch me in my situation. Lord, I know you can.
