come on right now will you ever cross building right now can we just lift up our hands come on whatever demon you're facing whatever battle you're in hell that you are has come against you this week I know it has because I've been praying for you I've been praying for your families but I've been praying for your souls this week oh God right now God right now God I pray Lord that you would let the most beautiful spirit of the Holy Ghost to settle in upon us God Jesus that you would let the most powerful hand of your mercy and your grace to settle upon us today God that you would let the most gentle kind merciful convicting power of the Holy Ghost to settle on us today that as your word as I'm preparing to give forth your word that you have laid on my heart God I pray Lord that you would you would anoint our minds that you would anoint our ears you would anoint our hearts and you would anoint our Spirits God Jesus right now Jesus I speak peace over this place today as your word Jesus it is in your word that we find life and we find it more abundantly it is in your name God that we find our Salvation from all other things in the name of Jesus somebody give the Lord a hand clap of Praise right now

aren't you thankful for the beautiful spirit of the most high God aren't you thankful for the spirit of worship that has gther that has just just wrapped Us in his arms today Church man as as you're being seated I want to thank pastor and sister SLO for for allowing me to to bring the word that God has laid on my heart for you today see God didn't just he didn't just this one's this one's been on me for a little bit church and it's been resting I told Lauren earlier this week I felt like the spirit of the old preachers got to hold me this I don't know what that means exactly all right right I don't know what I I really don't but as I was working through this guys I felt like the spirit of the old preacher got a hold of me and I don't know if you've sat through any of the old preacher sermons but it it you just ride with me for just a minute okay you just you just hang on with me for just a minute today

the book of Kings we're introduced to a story that I think we're all familiar with we get to a point that we we we come across Israel is in a time of just terrible no good terrible very bad days there's just nothing good was happening Israel was in a place of demise they had forgotten who their God was they had forgotten what he was do what he had done for them and there was a king that came up by the name of Ahab Ahab we we we look at him and we we want we look at him and we say Ahab he was is not much of a man but I'll tell you this by the world standards Ahab was a man he was a mighty man that dude he had an army that was a regional power he was a powerful man that man and by the world standards he had 70 Sons believe it or not and so everyone looked around and said Ahab is the man he's the dude everybody wants to be like and he married a princess so everybody's like that's that's the man he married a Phoenician princess from sidon that that was that was in that time if you're familiar with the geography if you're familiar with the history the the the city of Ty which we hear about a lot with with Solomon and sadon they were Phoenician cities and they were they were Rivals and at this time the the sidonians were they were the emminent world sea power at that time so he married a a princess from the richest neighbor he could find and he was set and this Unholy matrimony produced the spawn of satanic Indulgence that we still talk about today this Unholy unrighteous matrimony and this in this this man that was that was Ahab married Jezebel now we're going we're going to talk about them for a minute but I'm not going to give any more space to them than what I have to to set the tone of this today this this Unholy unrighteous ungodly spirit that got on them was nothing more than an infectious Spirit of unfettered unrestrained uncontrolled self-indulgence you see what I was talking about with the old old preacher getting a hold of me this morning this this combat their Unholy combination produced this infectious spirit that spread through all out the land that God had made his that spread through all at through throughout all the land of the Holy children of Israel this infectious Unholy unfettered unrestrained uncontrolled Spirit of self-indulgence got a hold of the land so deeply and so powerfully that it turned their hearts away from God they grabbed a hold of I can do what I want to do when I want to do it and when someone said no you can't I'm gonna kill him that's exactly what Jezebel started doing she started snuffing out every voice that said you are not to do this this is wrong this is this is God's land we are God's people we don't do that and she reached around and she started killing them she started destroying them and started that Spirit now that Spirit started infecting the people it get they got down to the prophets of of B far outnumbered the prophets of God the prophets of God were having to run and hide for their life and finally the anti toote to this unrighteous Unholy unfettered unrestrained uncontrolled Spirit of self-indulgence came out and it came from the most unlikely of sources it came from the most unlikely of places plac that we don't even know where it was we don't even know where Elijah the tibot was from exactly but this un unced this this this ruffian so to speak if you're if you're speaking some old language over here this this UNS smooth he just he just didn't have a smooth presentation about him he came onto the scene dressed in animals hair Wild Hair probably unclean probably didn't bathe probably didn't who knows what and he stepped into the king's court

First Kings 17 now Elijah the tishbite of Tish in Gilead I don't think we know where tishby is said to Ahab as the Lord God of Israel lives before whom I stand there shall there shall be neither due nor rain these years except by my word verse two says and then the word of the Lord came to him the antidote to that Spirit of unconstrained and unfettered unrighteousness and self-indulgence was only stopped it God didn't even tell him that we have record of to go to the king God didn't even tell him to say put a stop to this Elijah he didn't even tell him but the spirit of Elijah was stirred so deeply and so powerfully he said thus saith the word of God God didn't have to come to him in a vision somebody hear me now God didn't have to come to him and say you go tell the king this he said this is what God's word says this is what God's word says and it's not going to rain unless by my word and then he's like God's like okay I guess it's not going to rain he looks at it and not only does he say this is what the word says He had he had put his money where his mouth was you see that unrestrained unfettered un uncontrolled self-indulgence is only stopped by a holy man it is only stopped by someone whose name and who understands that Yahweh is my God it's only stopped when someone is so uncompromising so un un unrestrained and saying thus saith the word of God that keeps their spirit in check with the word of God that lives a holy and a righteous life somebody hear me today he could never have stood in the face of all that perversion and that mess had he not kept his life clean and unspotted from the world this man could not be bribed he could not be sold he could not be say oh enticed into this way or that way no this man lived a holy life this man lived a righteous life this man lived before God the spirit of Elijah started changing the tide one man changed the tide I don't know what you think about the days of Israel but it kind of seems like the days of today and the only way we're going to stem the tide that the world is pushing on us the only way we're going to stem the tide of unrighteousness all around us is by living our lives in a holy manner in a holy fashion unto the Lord Holiness unto the Lord righteousness unto the Lord somebody hear me now righteousness unto the Lord the spirit of Elijah carried him through a career of 14 notable Miracles 14 standing in the face of Jezebel defying all that would come against her yeah he ran for his life he didn't have much he lived without God had to sustain him in the wilderness God had to make way way for him you want to know something about a man that could stand before the king and say it's not going to rain in just a few versus he was standing before a widow asking for just her last piece of bread no man in his rightful mind would ever step out and say I'm going to take the last piece of bread from the Widow that's contrary even to God's word it is it's contrary to mankind because my pride says no I got to die before and he trusts did what God had said and he broke through his own imagine that he wasn't that little kid sitting right there watching that bread go right in his mouth he later raised that widow's son from the dead he called fire down from Heaven he caused it to rain again he prophesied to Ahab again he said you're going to die your sons are going to die he prophesied to Jezebel said you're going to be eaten by dogs just stood right in the face of it and they're looking all around saying where's your success at Elijah he said I don't need it I've got God I've got righteousness I've got Holiness amen

and then God says I need you to find your replacement Elijah and in in the manner that only Elijah could do he goes and he throws his mantle on Elisha Elisha came from a completely different background a completely different area he was an industrious young man he was a man that was he was plowing like 24 oxen or something like this dude wasn't just laying around he was doing something I'm going to deviate here you know if you want God to do something for you you better be doing something I'm going step back over here that's all I'm going to say God calls the busy all right that wasn't all I was going to say so then he calls Elisha and Elisha becomes his servant he says give me just a second let me take care of this business and I'm right behind you no promise of a future no promise of anything but that he felt that when he threw something on he said something's different something's changed I can't apparently I just can't plow anymore something's changed something's different and then he goes through life and Elisha is just his Minister he just serves him and they go through the sons of the Prophet the this this Bible school so to speak and they're like don't you know that he's going to be taken and he's like you guys be quiet I know what I'm doing that's basically what he said and he goes and he's just following El Elijah says he says stay behind me you know just just stay behind he said no I'm right here with you he no no just leave me just stay here he said no I'm right here with you and so Elisha follows him across the split River Jordan Eli Elijah so if you want to know how to keep him straight J comes before s just so you know all right Elijah thank you sir Elijah splits the water Elijah splits the mudy the muddy Jordan and he goes across and he says God's going to take me what can I do for you you followed me with nothing this spirit this UNC Spirit of Elijah or of Elijah said what am I going to do for you what can I he said I want a double portion he said you've asked a hard thing yeah I don't think it was hard for him to give I don't think it was hard for him to give I think he was meaning it was a hard thing I heard brother Cornwell from Oklahoma kind of put it like this now you guys if you've never heard of brother Cornwell I believe that's his name he's got the gift of praying for people to have a baby I don't know why that's his gift I don't think he knows that why that's his gift it happens so if if you ever just some of y'all might need to stay away from him that's all all I'm saying he said it like this

if you want a double portion of my spirit you're going to get Double the Trouble that's the hard thing you're going to get double the kicks you're going to have double the struggles you're going to have double the issues you're going to have double the times that you have to rely upon God to feed you a morsel of bread you're gonna have double the time that your car runs out of gas on the way to church and you have to pray gas back in it you ever heard you ever heard of that happening you're going to have double the time that someone calls you out and you have to prove by the armor of righteousness that you are a righteous and a holy man you're going to have double the trouble of of of Devils coming against you and fighting against you you're going to have double the Miracles though you're going to save double the souls you're going to save more people than I can even than I can reach Elisha you're going to do it and so he does he sees him when he goes he sees God take him away in a chariot and the mantle falls to the ground and all Elisha knows to do is to pick up that mantle he picks up that mantle and he just goes right to work he just strikes the Jordan River and it splits that's not an easy thing I believe the Jordan River was split something like seven times that is not that's a notable Miracle he opened his ministry by splitting the river I don't know what to do with that but I don't know any of us split any rivers lately that's hard and he goes right across and the troubles immediately start and he makes an ax head swim I don't know why he made an axx head swim he could have just went and found another ax head but he made it swim he went through and he started living the life of the prophet he was with the King he gave him advice said you're going to die he he he started prophesying of the the the destruction of Israel and he said I hate to tell you this because you're going to kill the very people that I love love that's what Elijah was talking about when he said you got a double portion and it's going to be hard you you're you're going to see the destruction before it happens and you find that that once again that God is is working on the man the men of God and

he gets to Second Kings 3 and he finds we find that a very famili know your story to us that he is going by the house of the sh schite woman almost a menite a little different little different so he's going by her house because she's encouraging the blessings of God on her life she builds a house and he's like man I ain't never had one of these or a little room he like man most people just make me sleep outside he's living and and and from what I gather it looks like the prophets are living in poverty it's pretty much what it looks like God is sustaining them and you find that he asked his servant gesi he said gesi what can we do for her he's like well she didn't have any kids so God he's like God's going to give you a son that's what he told her and he did and then God took the son and then the lady ran to the prophet to the man of God and said look I've I've laid up in store you've given me this word what am I going to do with it now it's dead and gesi and his young self trying to learn tries to pull pull her away and not recognizing the desperation in which she is coming to the man of God in gesi then then then runs ahead with a staff and and just follows the instructions of Elisha and then it doesn't happen nothing happened so Elisha gets there and if you read it it sounds like you gave him CPR I don't know it's what it sounds like kid came back to life and he's like I don't really know how or why or what that work but God performed a miracle and then the next time we hear of gazi there's a man by the name of non coming to the prophet or actually he came to the king he said King I need you to heal me of leprosy this man was was a captain of the army he was a he was a powerful warlord and the King's like dude whoa I can't do that I can't tell you and Elisha hears of it and says send him to me and so this Captain shows up in all his Pomp and Circumstance his got his Entourage with him and he comes in and he says I want to be healed and the man of God doesn't even come out he sends gazi out I don't know if he's trying to counteract his pride and Pomp and Circumstance or what but he puts him in his place says go dip in the muddy Jordan he does the dude's mad I'm not doing it I'm going back home and gazi knew the power of the word he said just do it trust me I've seen it before I've seen it have seen the dead healed are raised to life I've seen the healings I've heard the prophecies I know what God will do here just trust it and so na goes and he come he dips in the Jordan seven times and he comes out clean because of his trust in the word of God but then he comes back and he's like I'm going to give i' I've came to give you every I've came to give you I've came to to give you an offering and it seems only right it really does and the man of God says no nope take it on your way go where you need to go we don't want that here no doubt Hai is like what are you doing you've had me out here scouching around for scraps we ain't slept in a in a right bed in months when are we going to go back by the shite woman's house I'm just ready for a full meal why don't we take that

and so as non leaves gazi runs after him and gesi he sees him and he stops he says oh and he makes up a story and says he says hey we we we need that now he oh non's absolutely non's not at fault here absolutely go for it and so gesi takes it runs and hides it and he comes back in all sweating and Dusty and muddy and he's standing before the man of God and man of God's like where you been he's like I ain't been nowhere what are you talking about I ain't done anything I don't even think it takes the the spirit of the Prophet here to know that gesi was hiding something

2 Kings 5 and 25 he went in and stood before his master and Elisha said to him where have you been gazi and he said your servant went nowhere but he said to him did not my heart go when the man turned from his Chariot to meet you was it a time to accept money and garments and olive oil and Orchards and Vineyards sheep and ox and male servants and female servants in verse 27 he says the therefore the leprosy of non shall cling to you and your descendants forever and so he went from his presence a leper like snow my question to you today is where are you gesi you've seen God move you felt his Spirit move all over you you know the power of the word of God but you have embraced the spirit of this world you have embraced the spirit of unfettered unrighteous Unholy self-indulgence somebody hear me now where are you g where are you you have embraced the unrighteousness so long that you can you have left the presence of God you have embraced your own desires so long that God can't even find you and the in the Sin and the sign of uncleanness that you so despise on others has now got all over you that compromise they greed the lying in the deceit the unholiness the unrighteousness the ungodliness why why gazi where are you now why did you take your opportunity for a double portion why didn't you take your opportunity to throw the world aside why didn't you take your opportunity to grab a hold of the things of God and latch gone like if you had nothing else to live for where are you gesi the spirit of Elijah was gesi for the taking the spirit of of Elijah of the Holiness of the righteousness of the power of the word of God was right there for G ha out of tap where are you gesi where are you

our next and last mentioning of yees in the scripture second Kings chapter 8 in verse four now the King was talking with gesi the servant of the man of God saying tell me all the great things that Elisha has done gesi he didn't ask what you've done gazah he didn't ask the Miracles you performed gazah he didn't ask the times that God's moved on you he said tell me of Elisha and while he was telling the king how Elisha had restored the dead to life behold the woman whose son had restored to life appealed to the king for her house and her land gazi said my Lord oh King here is the woman and here is her son whom Elisha restored to life gazi left the presence of God and was relegated to tell him the stories of things that had happened in the past that he had no power and no part of he had seen it and he had the opportunity to partake of it but the spirit of Elijah Departed from unholiness he was left with nothing but a curse upon himself and upon his family

can I present to you this generation needs the spirit of Elijah gesi where are you you were supposed to be the next prophet of Israel you were supposed to have the double portion of the double portion you were supposed to preach every camp meeting every Revival you were supposed to be the an no anointed oh somebody here hear me my voice is is going like like I'm 14 again but I want you to know this that this generation needs the spirit of Elijah gesi where are you you have an opportunity to latch onto a double double portion you have an opportunity to live a life holy and separated unto a holy God don't let your pride get in the way don't let your self-indulgence get in the way don't entertain the spirit of this world over the spirit of God this generation needs a man to stand up and say that is wrong and you are wrong the word of God will stand and God will honor his word but he needs a man that he can trust with his word where are you gesi this generation needs a prophet it needs a man it needs a Holiness it needs a righteousness to stand in the face of all the perversion and the pervasiveness that is going on all around us and might I even add in our homes see never faced those battles and he never failed at those battles because he never conquered the biggest battle of all and that was himself I don't know that's where the battle starts and that's where the battle ends God I know I need all these things and the opportunity was right there and he did not understand what God was trying to teach him he did not understand what God was trying to do in his life that last link of greed that he was trying to root out or that last piece of himself that God was trying to just chip away and he said this is what I'm going to latch on to and this is what I'm going to put my trust in but where are you now gesi where are you now I told you the spirit of the old preacher I feel like the spirit of the old preacher got a hold of me because as God was turning this over in my soul I started seeing all the gahaz eyes that I've known oh somebody hear me and I never ever ever want to see that happen again I want to see a generation of holy men of righteous men of men that understand and know how to submit to the word of God somebody hear me today at the end of Elisha's life he had performed 27 miracles 27 his double portion was 28 I can't help but wonder I can't help but Wonder G where are you have you come to yourself yet gesi have you been able to shake yourself past your own condemnation and allow it to work into conviction I've got a miracle left for you guys the end of the life of the man of God I can't help but think he's he's he's calling the the king in hey I need you to do this and he's waiting have you heard from gazah lately has he been telling you any more stories why don't you is he ready to come by and see me yet is gazi allowed the the mirror of man of condemnation to drown him and forgot about the mirror of God of repentance of conviction where are you gazi where are you why gazah did you allow your pride your self deceit keep you from the miracle of the man of God that last miracle I have no doubt that was yours why did you allow the desire of unrestricted self-indulgence to curse you and your family wow where are you GES where are you where are you g where are you Spirit of Jezebel and of Ahab only have power if you let him ha where are you where are you

Jesus Jesus if you would stand with me all across the house today Hai where are you God is waiting with mercy and Grace God is waiting with with with love in his arms he can heal you from your Affliction gazi he can forgive you of your sins gazah he can write all the wrong that you have done gazar but he's waiting on you where are you somebody hear me today where are you guys if we can just for a moment all gather around or find a place and Altar and let the sweet mercies of God rest upon us today where are you God what have I allowed to come between me and you god what have I allowed to in myself god what have I allowed to seep into my spirit and in my heart I know the power of the word of God I know what you can do God I know what it's like when you perform Miracles God but I've allowed something to come in between me and you where are you gazi where are you come on somebody let the spirit of the Lord to settle upon you right now Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus we need you God goaz tear down all the walls don't be condemned in of yourself don't mistake that condemnation or that conviction for condemnation Jesus is Calling he's going to deliver you he's going to make you whole but you've got to come to him where are you Jesus see God's word and God's promises are true a dead man received that last miracle Elisha was dead and that man was dead and out of that death God brought forth life because of his word Gesa that should have been you somebody don't leave this place today God strip everything else away God I just want to follow after you oh Jesus oh Jesus oh Jesus oh Jesus Jesus I need my Deliverance I need my mirle I need it God what if I got to do to get right with you no excuses no explanations no deviations no deflections God what if I got to get right with you Jesus I feel you drawing me close Lord I feel you speaking into my life come on somebody yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus come on that's right reach for him I need you Lord I Trust You Lord Great Is Your Name Jesus Lord I don't want to miss it Lord I don't want to miss it I want to know you I want you to work in my life and in my heart thank you Jesus Jesus hallelujah oh mighty God Mighty God
