Israel was born on May 14, 1948; a generation is forty years; the movement's own latter-rain outbreak came that same year and stalled at the brink — fear of excess, spurious prophets, a backing-off from the gifts — but what brother Stoneking testified yesterday, breakthrough beginning in the thirty-eighth year, is the sign that the last two years of fighting are at hand. Mid-sermon the preaching breaks into a first-person prophetic utterance in the Lord's voice — his own voice in prophetic form, standing in the span — calling the people to draw near rather than drift to the dry riverbed. He reads the return to Kadesh out of the first chapter's nineteenth verse, and the turning into the wilderness by the way of the Red Sea, compassing Mount Seir many days, out of the second chapter's first — same old path, same old services, internal reproduction but no conquest.
- **Pruning, the narrows, and the strongholds.** The last two years began at Zered — the valley of pruning, where the willow spirits are cut back; he confesses he has never in thirty-eight years of ministry been pruned as lately. Then the twenty-fourth verse: rise up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon — a rocky torrent at the bottom of a trench seventeen hundred feet deep and only forty yards wide at the floor, where millions were wedged into close fellowship and close fighting. Out of that valley they met Sihon the Amorite king, whose city Heshbon — stronghold — God later made a levitical city of priests: the pattern for the next two years, in which bold religious strongholds are turned into cities of God. He tells of a brother pastoring a Baptist church on Sunday afternoons, twenty-six prayed through and twenty-three baptized in Jesus' name, sisters coming up from a prayer line taking off their ear screws and necklaces unasked.
- **Rising and flowing together.** From the strongholds they fought to Jabbok — rising and flowing — where Jacob wrestled: not fragmentation into tribes, not making everybody just like me. Some preachers think it isn't smoke unless it comes out of their stack; if it's in the book, preach it, and personal convictions stay personal — Paul himself, in the chapter of Romans on liberty, lets one man eat meat and another abstain, and we don't preach that chapter much because people read anything into it. A good brother slandered from east to west over printed material nobody called him about is not New Testament Christianity. He has gone out of the judgment business: keep the great truths, label the rest conviction, and have Augustine's rule — in essentials unity, in non-essentials liberty, in all things charity. He tells brother Kilgore that unity is not uniformity: fellowship a brother on the ninety-five percent and pray for him on the five.
- **The whole cheese.** Labels are refused and the message itself is non-negotiable: the fifth verse of John's third chapter — except a man be born of the water and of the Spirit, he cannot see the kingdom of God — is, he says, the very answer Peter gave on the day of Pentecost, and men are still asking Peter's question, so the answer must not change. One is of God: Jesus is solely, fully, absolutely God — Alpha Omega, the beginning and the end — not a third of God, not Jehovah Jr. A sister hearing a sermon on the first chapter of John, its first verse — in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God — got it in her own idiom: you folks believe Jesus is the whole cheese; not only the cheese, they told her, but the box the cheese came in. Holiness is preached without trimming, inside and out — look at my wife of thirty-seven years — and he confesses he once preached at conferences things he didn't preach at home, and has settled to one straight road.
- **Beer: dig the well.** Turning to the story Deuteronomy rehearses, he sends brother Mike to the twenty-first chapter of Numbers, to its sixteenth through eighteenth verses, and the reading is performed in the house: from there they went to Beer — the well whereof the Lord spake unto Moses — "gather the people together, and I will give them water"; then Israel sang this song, "spring up, O well; sing ye unto it," the princes and nobles digging with their staves. Before we can go in, he says, we must learn to sing as they sang at the Exodus sea; the well is artificial, the water artesian and deep, and the nobles and princes — the preachers — will have to dig and sing and dig. Jesus never told us not to be great; he told us how — let him be servant. He is tired of preaching chandelier and practicing night-light, preaching cream and practicing skim milk, preaching eagles and practicing sparrows.
- **Loose your brother.** In the fifteenth chapter of Judges, the only successful binding of Samson before Delilah was done by his own brethren, the men of Judah, at the height of his ministry on the rock at Etam — peer pressure in a pulpit suit; the bonds broke anyway, and a thousand Philistines fell. We need to loose our brother: compromise changes the principle, wisdom changes the method, never the message. Anchored to the Rock but geared to the times, like the sons of Issachar who had understanding of their times — then the second directed reading: the twenty-fifth verse of Deuteronomy's second chapter, read by brother Mike at his direction, God's promise that from this day the dread and fear of thee goes upon the nations under the whole heaven, who shall tremble and be in anguish because of thee. Judging another man's servant is answered by James's own word: he that judges his brother judges the law.
- **Angels again — and don't change the message.** The two years were also Balaam's age: a prophet whose mule saw the supernatural he missed, and a warrior angel with a drawn sword who had to leave Canaan — where, as the second verse of Exodus's thirty-third chapter promised, the angel was sent ahead to drive out the enemy — to deal with a negative preacher. Angels don't die, brother Barnes taught him: the Red Sea angel, the storm angel, the furnace angel, the prison angel are all still alive, ministering spirits to the heirs. Near the close he gathers Moses himself: the seventh verse of the thirty-fourth chapter of Deuteronomy — his eyes not dimmed, his natural force not abated, in his greatest warrior years — and Moses' own word that the Lord had only begun to show his servant his greatness. Then the charge that ends it: the message Moses re-delivered to the younger generation is not to be changed — hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord; and what must a man do to be saved gets the answer it has always gotten, repentance and baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. "Joe, don't you ever change the message, son." The house takes hands and says it together: we are one.

brother Anthony you belong here your third generation Brother G you belong here had a tremendous Heritage brother Barnes I remember your old dad old time my beloved sweet wife born and reared in this but you're looking at a stranger in the courts of Israel I was a grown young man before I ever heard before I ever heard this wonderful message that brother manam so ay brought to us today I'm a Wild Olive Branch that was grafted in I'm one of those that was out there and somebody had cared enough to share it tell me that it was real that's been over 38 years ago and ever since that day I can sing I'm one of them I'm as much one of them as Anthony Manan and G Manan and Tom bars I'm one of them but I sophisticated ant said to my aristocratic mother that I had had a nervous breakdown undoubtedly they needed to get me to the finest doctor in the country they could not believe with my great-grandfather's name inscribed in Marble in the courthouse as one of the founding fathers of our County or our Parish but I had so disgraced the family as to have literally I literally crossed the track and fell in with the Holy rers it was something they said that was in that bottle that they put on them no they said they wired those pews and when they wanted them to react they pushed the button I would to God it was that easy oh Hallelujah but after the way they call heresy so worship I the god of my fathers believe in all things that are written in the Lord Prophet oh Pentecostals there's thousands out there that are hungry for the bread of life yes go he tell you what this meeting is done I was in prayer God I was saying open the windows of Heaven open the windows of heaven and he spoke to me something I didn't even know he said not till The Fountains of the deep are broken and I immediately grabbed the Bible I was there praying yesterday Fountains of the deep and the first law of reference for veils in the study of the word you either find a precept or a principle and go back to the first law of reference and you'll find a thread all the way through of what that means that's why you find the lamb you pull a thread on the lamb in genes it and it it puckers in Revelation because it's all tied together well I went to the first law of reference of the seventh chapter of Genesis where it said the windows of Heaven open and the rain fell but it did not happen and then I never noticed this before though I knew it was there until The
Fountains of the deep were broken up and the Lord said you have been asking for the windows of Heaven to be open but you've not broken The Fountains of the deep on Earth and he said when my people will break up The Fountains of the deep in Earth he said then will I open the windows of heaven and as I have promised it's time to break up the F of ground say I hear the sound of abundance of rain but he said you've got to break up the Fountain of the deep there's something in me and in you Wells of Living Water that have to be broken some things are worthless when they're broken and other things are worthless until they're broken God give us a b is of the non-judgmental love of Jesus now what I'm going to say is spiritual speculation today but God dropped it in my heart and confirmed it by a couple of other Witnesses and I want you to listen to me closely I may not be in my usual style that I may be I'm ain't promising that but I've got a message and you'll judge if it was from the Lord or not Deuteronomy so good to see all of you welcome to Louisiana I love every one of you I love preachers God we've been under pressure the last two or three years our families have been attacked there is a concerted diabolical attack on the families of the ministers today don't you lay your lip to your brother or to a member of his family unless it's in the mouth of two or three Witnesses and a witness is not somebody that heard that somebody said that they sneezed 10 years ago but a witness is somebody that saw it you get on a a court of law they said what do you know about this well I heard so and so uhuh don't tell me what you heard so and so say what did you personally hear and what did you personally see that's a witness Deuteronomy 2 verses 13 and 14 Deuteronomy 1 and two is a historical account of what had already transpired in the years of wandering principally recorded in numbers 21 Moses came down just before his death wrote Deuteronomy and in the opening chapters of Deuteronomy he said let me give you a little history and tell you where we've been before I show you where we're going and he said this now rise up said I referring back to nearly 40 years ago and get you over the brook zered and we went over the brook zered and the space in which we came from Kadesh barnea until we came to the brook zered was 38 years until all the generation of the men of War were wasted out from among the host as the Lord swear unto them back one page to the first chapter of Deuteronomy verse two there are 11 days Journey not 40 years not 38 years but 11 days journey from Horeb by way of Mount s unto Kadesh barnea and it came to pass in the 40th year the 11th month the first day of the month that Moses spake to the children of Israel according to all the Commandments the Lord had given him after he had slain sihon the king of amorites which dwelt in heshbon and OG the king of Bashan which dwelt in asth on this side Jordan in the land of Moab began Moses to declare the law saying the Lord Our God spake unto us in hor of saying ye have dwelt long enough in this mountain turn you and take your journey notice specifically verse 14 came to pass after 38 years until all the men of War were wasted out from among the host the doubters died not in the 40th year we've often
said they wandered for 40 years until all the doubters died but they were all dead by the 38th year but why didn't they go in why was it two more years and that's my subject this morning the Forgotten two years the forgotten the promise was virtually fulfilled of all this generation will die in the 38th year but it was two more years before they went in I introduce you my brothers and sisters to the Forgotten two years you may be seated now I'm not going to go into a lengthy Exposition you know the story I I read it to you from Deuteronomy 1 and 2 it took them 38 years to have done and hear this what they could have done in 11 days from hor to Kadesh Baria I read it he said 11 days but they were 38 years they came to Kadesh one time ready to cross over but you know the story there was a majority report and a Minority Report and The Minority Report said we can do it we can do it we can do it we can do it the majority report that our pragmatic epistemology has shown us that the Giants that we beheld are much too ferocious and fearful and that the casualties will be too great and we have run this through our computer and decided it can't be done so the Lord said all right just wand out there for 40 years and after 38 years they came back and Moses went over the whole thing again and then they entered into two of the most significant years in their history during this two-year period so near canaan's land so near the promised land they won some of their greatest victories Moses reached the Apex of his power in his glory and his leadership during these two years I believe and as I will try to show you from God's word that we are living now in a strategic two-year period that began on May the 14th of last year we are two years away from Israel's 40th anniversary as a nation we are living in the 38th year it's a time when kings go to war and too many of God's people want to be civilians it's a time when we talk about being dressed in the whole armor of God but nobody's reporting for Duty it's a time when the spirit is saying total mobilization there's something in the embryonic stages I I feel it the last few years have been traumatic we've been attacked I I stand before you to confess I've been to Hell and back the last three years God has personally been preparing me for something that's just now unfolding in my Ministry can I I discover that it's been happening in your lives and in other lives we've had periods of despondence say and periods of depressions and times when we wondered if it was worth it all but all of a sudden something is beginning to unfold and we're entering into a dimension of Glory unknown since the days of the Apostles 38th year they were living on the brink of a breakthrough not quite there they were practicing in that 38th and 39th year what we call God's brinkmanship so close and we touch it every now and then but we're so close and we're fighting battles but they're intensifying but the victories are intensifying and we look back and understand we understand the bwack and the Maneuvers that we've been through or to prepare us for what is just ahead of us it took them the last two years to get the Breakthrough that preceded their entering
in Israel was born May the 14th 1948 a nation was born in a day he said this generation shall not pass away till certain things happen a generation is at the outset 40 years something's going to happen in this 40e period something something's going to happen and the nearer you get to the end of it the battle is going to intensify even some of your Moses are going to have to wonder where are we well brother Tenny what does that mean to the church brother Manan here's where you helped me years ago you told me something 20 years ago and it hung and it was lodged I never could get it out of my spiritual teeth I picked on it dental floss it and everything else it kept coming back 1948 1948 you remember the other day I asked you I said tell me what you told me years ago about the significance of 1948 and you said oh that's the year that it broke out that's the year that it broke up in Gary Indiana that's the year that revivals broke out in many of our churches and we said it was because the Jews had been established as a nation I just read brother keny's book he told about the year 1947 when he got so discouraged he was ready to hang it up and go back to work but he went home at the end of 47 and went on a fast in Plymouth Indiana asking God for direction he came to the little town of deritter in early 1948 brother George glass pastor of that great church said brother keny I'm about ready to resign we hadn't had anybody get the Holy Ghost here in 15 months and if something doesn't break in this revival I'm going to resign brother keny said I didn't know he was feeling like that he said I found so many of God's people feeling something's got to give and in that Year my friend all heaven broke loose in this part of the country and across our fellowship and we had some of the greatest revivals in 48 49 and 50 hey I'm a graduate of that Revival during that time scores of preachers were born into the kingdom of God some of our greats in the Kingdom today came out of that period of Revival that began in 1948 when Israel became a nation done he said when the Sands of the seashore my Earthly blessing begin to move then you start counting the stars of the sky because something is going to happen in the heavenlies our Campground was founded in 47 launched the full orbit in 48 since 1948 we've had a 300% growth in Louis iiana our organization in 1948 had a th000 churches we've had over a 300% growth as a National Organization we have grown over 1,000% on the foreign field did you hear brother ersan say he had no idea what I was going to preach that in the year 1988 we will reach the year of 2000 in the Jewish calendar we're only two years Hallelujah away from the Jewish calendar year of 2000 there is something significant happening in the body of Christ that's paralleling God's a history with Israel in 1948 the so-called latter rain broke out now many of you younger folks don't remember that many many olders told me and looking back brother Tenny the latter rain was a valid move of the spirit to restore the gifts and power to the church but it got in the hands of men with wrong motives and manipulators and they told me a real move of the spirit was perverted and aborted he said in those days we were crying for a restoration of the gifts of the Spirit we were crying for a sovereign move of God we came right to the brink 38 years ago ago in 1948 we came to Kadesh Baria and dare I not believe that God in any generation has called enough people to reach that generation it was God's perfect will for Israel to have gone in and possess their restoration 38 years ago and in 11 days they could have done it I'm speculating now but could God have had a plan 38 years ago but for some
reason it didn't quite make it now don't misunderstand me I just said there was great blessings in that 28 years that 38 years God sent them back tested tried taught blessed hear what brother Stone King said yesterday he said in the last year I've had a breakthrough in my Ministry and had more miracles than I've seen in all the rest when did it start brother Stone King it started in the 38th year you heard the man say that yesterday he said I don't understand it in the last year you heard what brother ersan said same thing that something has happened now we haven't quite made the last breakthrough into canaan's land the promised land but we're fighting the battles of the last two years of Israel before they did and I believe we're about to Break Forth into something that's going to Usher us into the promised land of full restoration blinded eyes are going to be open what we saw yesterday was just an Earnest of the inheritance that God had I believe they're coming out of the wheelchairs not to the glory of man but to the exaltation of the Lamb of God I believe that people are going to come not because of Any media of advertising but because they hear that God is in that place and miracles are taking place and let's go see and once they get here we can point them to the Lamb of God I'm telling you we're on the brink of a breakthrough I don't want to do like the children of Israel and come right to the barter and hear the report of the spies that came back and said it's there it's there in this meeting we've had prophetic utterances from spiritual spies that went ahead of us in the Holy Ghost and said something's coming now holy ghost antennas tell me some something there's Giants out there he promised them it was a land of giants he said that's what I'm going to give you and I don't want anything to abort Us in 1948 and I was born into the kingdom in that era we overreacted you heard another brother yesterday stand in the pull pit talk about what happened in 48 we overreacted to the gifts of the Spirit and because spirous false prophets rose up that manipulated them brother Kil you know I'm telling you the truth we backed off and we went through a dir I live through it of years that tongues and interpretation was a rare thing not the norm and if you stood up and prophesied like we've done in the last few years the first thing they said about you was Let It Rain fear got hope of us and what we could have done in 11 days God said there's some Concepts in you I'm going to send you back to the Wilderness till those Concepts die for I have cried to you again my voice has screamed out from the heavens for you to hear me and reason with me sayith the Lord my word has been an open book it lays before you does it gather dust or will it eminate life will you receive from it the living water or will you go to the place where the dry riverbed runs it's up to you the dry river god that changes not you're my voice draw near to me and I will draw near to you we going to a place where a dry River bed was remember that could it be that we were here 38 years ago could it be that somebody came back that got a little spiritual espi in the land and said there's too many Giants too many misuse too many excesses better back off too much the majority said we can't do it but even in those days see I've known the manangan since 49 Geral Mangan was a Joshua and Caleb we can do it we can do
it we can do it that voice never died never died but I read to you from the first chapter of Deuteronomy he said we departed from horam and went through all that great and terrible Wilderness 38 years it wasn't God's intention for him to do that finally in verse 19 we came he said this is again to Kadesh barnea the crossing point but we did not go in we almost made it we have more to say about God's timetable than you think as I've often said in reference to the Rapture the bride sets The Wedding Date he said when this Gospel of the kingdom is preached that's the bride's responsibility then shall the End come two and one then we turned and took our journey into the Wilderness by way of the Red Sea Encompass Mount sear many days same old path same old people same old Services internal reproduction yes but no Conquest like God had promised us before we left you know this three ways a church grows biologically that's by births within the church transfers in or evangelism how much of our real growth is evangelism hear me on this day in February in the 38th Year we're standing at Kadesh Baria and God has been with us all these 38 years water came out of the rock Mana came down from heaven he protected us pillar of cloud by day and fire and we've been blessed and we praise God for it but this is no day for us to rest on our LS we're about to enter in to the last day Apostolic Dimension that's going to usher in the coming of the Lord and hear me blind eyes are going to see and the lame is going to LEAP like a heart and the poor are going to have the go goel preached we've had renewal personally and praying for restoration collectively and then there's coming a Revival that'll shake this Earth from sinner to circumference and we're at KES Baria in Alexandria yes God's taken care of us yes it said we lack nothing these 38 years years but you ain't seen nothing yet as to what God has in his Divine mind feed your faith and not your fears we have been brought to the kingdom for such a time as this and let me tell you something else Moses fought his greatest battles Moses had his most power in those two years brother manang You Ain't Seen Nothing in your ministry yet oh Moses hanging there the next two years are going to be the greatest years that you ever seen in your ministry Alexandria look out your Prophet has just arrived with a new anointing Houston look out Pleasanton look out Gainesville look out we've come to Kadesh barnia and we're fing at the bits I can't wait for the next two years hallelujah we're fixing up the greatest breakthrough since the days of the Apostles sit down hear me accept it as significant or not that wasn't the first time they came to Kish Baria count the encampments 40 some odd encampments during the 40 years go back from the time they left Egypt and count the encampments the first time they came to Kadesh Baria was the 19th encampment the last time was either the 37th or 38th 19th they they got there 19th
