Summary
- T. W. Barnes opens a Tuesday-morning session at a Louisiana camp meeting in 1985 by saying what he will not do: he will not be preaching on healing, though they will pray the prayer of faith at the end. He reads his text aloud — Matthew 13:13-17, the parable passage: seeing they see not, the prophecy fulfilled, and "blessed are your eyes, for they see" — and announces his subject: the past, the present, and the future; some things he has seen, some things he is seeing, some things the Lord has showed him to come. He had come to the camp meaning to be lost in the crowd and do whatever his pastor said, but he was put up here this morning to help out in believing. He proves the need with a story from his own pulpit: a devil-possessed man with a knife worked his way through an evangelist's service, knocked the evangelist down, and Barnes did not move until he felt the Holy Ghost — when Jesus is in you and looking out through your eyes, you can set them down — and the man dropped in the altar and went limp as a rag under the saints who piled on him. "In my name," he drills the congregation, "you'll cast out devils... That means me."
- The past, as he walks it: a time when there was no devil anywhere and perfect harmony in the heavens, until Lucifer lifted himself up and fell; Adam and Eve in the garden, the serpent warned he would get his head bruised, and a church raised up down through time to go on bruising it. Sixty years ago Pentecost came to their town, and he has watched the saints die and the sinners die and some preachers die lost — he stood by a once-mighty preacher's bedside who begged him, "Don't pray for me. I'm lost forever." No saint who stays on his knees will ever backslide. He watched the movement in 1925 and defends organisation with Noah: God gave the blueprint — the length, the door, the window — but men had to cut the gopher wood and drive the nails; the church is built by Jesus Christ, and organisation is only how what he gave gets carried to the highways and hedges. God has a plan for every city, every preacher, and every saint, and no man can hand another his calling: there is a time coming when T. W. Barnes (as captioned, "TWW Barnes") won't be around, but God isn't going anywhere. God speaks first through the word; the gifts cannot be copied or explained — you cannot tell a man how tongues will come — they operate at the opportune time, found on your knees. What he loves at this camp is apostolic praying and the deep shout, not the shallow one you can lose in a knockdown fuss on the way home.
- He warns against throwing off on the people God uses in unlikely places: Joseph on Pharaoh's chariot was put there by his gifts, and his brothers had to bow and admit the Lord was in it. The earth is filling with witchcraft — a witch told him the first lesson in the church of Satan is that God is unjust because he will not forgive Satan; the devil, he answered, has never asked for forgiveness. Daniel and the Hebrew boys held to their one God in Babylon: people that don't believe but one ain't going to add nothing. Valleys are not backsliding — that is what Job's friends accused him of, and he was in a battle, not a fall. It was in his two darkest valleys that Barnes saw the Lord: twenty-one years ago, when he was told to pray for Israel whenever the Spirit moves — he has a little bit of say in what goes on over there — and two years ago, when hurt made him ready to run from church altogether, and in his office a face appeared three feet from him, beard plucked, cheeks beaten, thorns drawing blood, saying nothing aloud but this: "Tom, I didn't run. When it came time to go to Calvary, I didn't run" (name as captioned). There is no place to run. Philip preaching Jesus to the eunuch in his chariot, and Ananias — a man with a revelation gift — sent to the praying Saul, show him where the church is heading: it has come into the vocal gifts and the power gifts, and God is heading it into the revelation gifts; and when the gift of wisdom hits, it will say there is one God and his name is Jesus.
- He closes on the present and the future together. Pentecostals must keep their clothes on — the two little boys, two and four, who came running naked out of the bath felt no condemnation, but grown saints who strip off the standard would be the sinners. Jesus prayed that we all may be one: one God, one name, and one church. God did not stop his plan in 1930 — on his calendar he's got a 1985 too. Thirty years ago the Lord showed him his superintendent, then just a youth director, leading the church with a ball of fire setting countries on fire; he has seen the end-time revival worldwide — a hundred million Pentecostals marching over the horizon of the earth like soldiers — and it didn't just happen in Louisiana, and it didn't just happen in Missouri. The church's number one need is fire: a preacher who doesn't pray only hits the head, but the praying preacher hits the soul; become God-conscious, and in Jesus name tell the devil to hit the road. The devils themselves dread this camp meeting — he voices their complaint that there is no such place as the Louisiana camp (the venue word stands as captioned, "count") and that they wish there were no such thing as camp meeting — while the harder enemy is the human spirit, which has to be reasoned with and bound. At dinner time he refuses to pray the closing prayer of faith alone: "No, I'm not. We all are." The whole congregation stands and says it with him — Jesus, I love you; Jesus, I believe now that every sickness and every disease will flee in Jesus name — and the glory of the Lord shall fill the whole earth.

about the bread and the butter. Thank you, brother Hyde. Beautiful. I will not be preaching on healing, but we'll pray the prayer of faith with you at the end of this service. In the early church, healing was so easy till they did that on the way to church. All right. They did that out in the streets, walking down the street. That was a door opener to get the crowds to come in to hear the rest of it. And the little woman didn't need a sermon on faith and healing. She just reached out her bony finger and touched his garment and was healed. That's all you'll have to do. It isn't hard. It's easy. It comes from a heart of love with someone on the throne right now with stripes on his back ready to leap into your body and make you well. We'll read our scripture in Matthew the 13th chapter. Begin reading at the 13th verse. Therefore speak I unto them in parables because they seeing see not and hearing they hear not neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of assas which saith. By hearing ye shall hear and shall not understand. And seeing you shall see and shall not perceive. For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with the ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. But the 16th verse said, "But blessed are your eyes, for they see in your ears, for they hear. For verily I say unto you, talking to us now, that many prophets and righteous men who desire to see those things which you see and are not have not seen them and to hear those things which you hear and have not heard them. My text today before you're seated is the past, the present, and the future. Some things I've seen in the past, some things I'm seeing now, some things the Lord has showed me to come. And of course, I'm hoping to see some other things. Can you lift your hands and praise the Lord? The name of the Lord. Praise the name of the Lord. Praise the name of the Lord. Glory. Praise the name of the Lord. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Give the Lord a hand right now. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. You may be seated.
When I was getting ready to come to this camp, I told my church, I opened my big mouth, I said, "I'm going to the camp meeting and I'm going to be with my pastor this week and I'm going to shout when he says shout. I'm going to clap my hands." And he says, "Clap your hands." I'm going to give when he says give. I'm going to get with it. Of course, I intended to be lost in the crowd. But sitting up here, you have to work. You have to believe. And I begin to feel like that's what I was put up here for Tuesday morning to help out in believing. Because when we exercised our faith in a service, it helped saints. Release your faith. I remember one time to illustrate this few years ago, I had an evangelist, had a great revival. He's a great preacher, great man. But a devil possessed man came from another state. And I was trying to help the fell in the office to keep him toned down to where he could maybe sit on the pew long enough to hear the preacher and get the Holy Ghost, maybe get delivered. Well, time and time again, he would have got on me there in the office. He had a knife and he would say, he looked at me and said, "You think I'm a girl, don't you?" And he'd get his knife and and of course I didn't tell him what I was thinking. But you know when Jesus is in you and he's looking out through your eyes, you can set them down, Brother Freeman. That's right. I can't do it. But when Jesus looks through my eyes, I can set him down. The devil don't like Jesus looking at him. Uh-uh. He He He's He's ready to go. And we all have Christ in us, don't we? Right? He's in us, but we only get him close enough to begin to look through us and feel through us when we pray a lot. Anyway, the evangelist didn't know what was going on. So, he got up and he sung that song. I turned the service to him. Uh, Satan, your kingdom must come down, brother. We going strong. He left the pull pit and he walked right by the fell and I said, "Oh, I hope he don't jump up back there." Because talking about getting the devil by the horns, that's what he thought he was. And so, before he got around the church, the devil possessed man ran to the pullpit. He took over. Man, he was swinging his arms and jabbering a lot of stuff. And I said, "Well, I don't know what to do. I've turned it to him. Maybe I better let him have it." Well, here come the evangelist, still not knowing he's going to push the fell, I guess, out of his pull pit. And the fella hit him and knocked him all the way back under against the seat. And the evangelist come back at him and he swung at him again. And by that time I had got out from behind my seat, got around I could get his eye. I felt the Holy Ghost. Amen. You better not move against the devil till you feel the Holy Ghost. You know, he later said, "I sure wondered why you were so long getting there." Well, I learned a way to the Holy Ghost moves before I get there. And so I looked at him and he dropped in the altar. By that time, there's a whole bunch of my big old saints coming down to keep him from getting me. And when he got in the altar, they all got over him. Well, it hit him again. And he's come up with all them big 200 pounders on his back just like this babies just like that. I said, "All right, now watch it, boys. You can't do it with main strength, but watch the Holy Ghost." And just like that, he was limp as a rag. Let me tell you something. When you sit in a church service, release your faith against these powers. There's no need for him to come storming in, take over, scare us out of our life. We've got a name. He said, "In my name." In my name. Everybody say it. In my name. In my name, you'll cast out devils. Everybody say, "That means me." All right.
I'd like to go back just a few moments here. There was a time way back in eternity. There was not a devil anywhere, any place, perfect harmony in the heavens. But one day Lucifer got lifted up and fell. And from that day there was trouble in heaven. He took many of the angels with him. And the Lord when he would meet with the sons or they shouted, he came along also just messing up everything. He was always around to cause trouble and heartache. And then the Lord put this earth here and he put Adam and Eve in the garden. And here come the devil. But Satan, you better stay out of that garden. You've been roaming around the heavens for millions of years. You better stay out of there. You're going to get your head bruised before this is over. But he went on anyway. And from that day, it gave us a chance to battle against the devil and to help God. He needed us or he wouldn't have created us. And down through the time we battled and we fought and the Lord has raised up a church to continue to bruise his head. And one day soon the church will rise up and put him back in the pit. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
When I look at yesterday, the days that's gone by, 60 years ago, Pentecost came to our town. My family came in and so did I. A lot of water's gone on at the bridge. There's a lot of people come and a lot of people have gone. I watched the saints die. I've watched the sinners die. I've watched the preachers die and I've watched them die lost some of them. That's a horrible thing. I've stood by the bedside when they said, "Don't pray anymore, Brother Barnes." A preacher that was mightily used of God one time, he said, "Don't pray for me. I'm lost forever." And he died. It's a terrible thing. There's a devil. But I'll tell you this, no saint or no preacher will ever backslide if they stay on their knees like they are too. If you'll stay in touch with God, you'll whip the devil anywhere, any place. I watched the movement in 1925 and we needed organization so bad. We didn't know it but we did. There was confusion, churches torn up, everything going on. Say, well, you're going to preach organization. Yeah, there's a little of it that we need. When the Lord said to Noah, build the ark. He didn't let Noah plan how long it would be, how high it would be, how wide it would be. He didn't let him put a door in it or a window in it. He told him how to do it. Everything. He gave him the blueprint, but they had to have a little organization to get it built. Right. Don't you think he did? God didn't cut the gopher wood down. He didn't haul it in. He didn't saw it up. He didn't nail a nail it up. He just told him, "Here's the blueprint." And you got about 120 years. Go to work. And that's all organization is. Somebody's got to cut the timber. Somebody's got to nail it up. Somebody's got to put put the pitch on the inside and the outside. God gave us a church. He gave us a blueprint. You don't add to it and you don't take from it. It's built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ being the chief cornerstone. But to carry the gospel around the world and to have old fashion camp meetings like this, there has to be a little organization and a whole lot around here. From the looks of it last night, there had to be a lot of organizing to get this together. Amen. So, if anybody ever tells you organization is building a church, they're lying to you. Honey, we ain't building nothing. That's built by Jesus Christ. We just trying to get what he gave us to the highways and the hedges and across the world. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. It's time to get together. It's time to pull. It's time to love one another. Amen. I've noticed in years gone by several times God would have moved. But I was telling somebody a while ago, I have seen the Lord send men to town to take the town. gifted man. But the devil knew it and he got among the saints and run him off and there's no church. Amen. Let me tell you something. When God sends his man, he may not always do it just like you want to do it. God has a plan for every city. God has a plan for every preacher. He has a plan for every saint. I have ministers calling me all the time. People tell me the will of God, this and that. I can't do that. I'm not going to try. You find that on your knees. You've God is a jealous God. He don't want me telling you what to do all time about things. He wants to work out a line of communication with you because there's a time coming TWW Barnes won't be around and that other preacher won't be around. But God will just be around. He ain't going nowhere. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. Hallelujah.
Well, you know, ask me how does God speak to you? Well, through the word, first of all, and if you can't find it in there, you know, Bale Jones or somebody else, you might have to pray about that. Some individual, but you find it in the word. The word speaks to us as the Holy Ghost moves upon you and you read the Bible. you know, find the subject in there and read it and let the Holy Ghost talk to you. Now, for me to try to tell you how God's going to talk to you, I can't. How about explaining to me right now how anybody talks in tongues? Can you tell me just the way it's going to be? If you've never spoke in tongues, you don't know. But I'll tell you what, I know one second before I'm fixing to. And I there's a word comes to me just like that of the interpretation, but I can't tell you how. You've got to get that on your knees. You got to pray. You got to fast. You got to walk with God. And if God gives you a gift, then that gift will operate. That gift will move at the opportune time. The pastor's gift will work. All he needs is a house full of members, church members, and it'll work. If he's been praying, if a man has gifts of healing, all he needs is a house full of sick folks. It'll work. God's just like that. That's the way God is. Has a house full of sinners, the evangelist gift will work. You see, there's something about the spirit making it work. You know, you can't make it work. If I told you how it came to me, then you might try to try that. But you can't do it like that. It has to be done in the Holy Ghost. It has to be found on your knees. There's some good signs around here, Brother Tenny. I feel something. I see some signs, apostolic signs around here. There's some things I love, and that's apostolic praying. You'll never have apostolic revival without apostolic praying. Never. You'll never have good Holy Ghost preaching without prayer. Now, we can preach to the intellect of man, but I see something taking place. The Holy Ghost is moving deeper than the five senses. The Holy Ghost is anointing men who know how to pray to go on down into the soul, on down into the spirit and move that man or that woman. I want to tell you something. There's been some of that kind of preaching here this week. When you leave here, you know, sometime people go to church, they get s they can shout and that's great. There's a shallow shout and there's a deep shout, brother Tenny. That's right. There's one just skims along you can get in the fuss, have a big knockdown dragout going home. There's another kind of shout that's so deep. Amen. That you and your wife can hold hands going home. Talk about Jesus. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. I want the deep things of God. Give me the deep things of God. I want the Holy Ghost moving inside of me.
I noticed certain people would rise up in the past and be mused of God and sometime we'd kill them. When will we recognize men being used in different capacities and in different places in the world? Joseph, what are you doing sitting on that chariot with Pharaoh? Don't you know he's a heathen? What are you doing sitting up there with him? You backslid. No, he had gifts of the spirit. The gifts of the spirit put him up there by that king. Amen. And then his old backslid brothers had to come down later and bow and say, "Well, the Lord was in it." Amen. Finally, we see it, Joseph. We fought you every step, but now we begin to see. Since we're hungry, let me tell you something. This earth is being filled with witchcraft. Every evil in the world is being released. if the church don't rise up and release her power. I was talking to I've talked to a lot of witches, prayed for a lot of them, people in all kind of psychic powers and hypnotic junk. But this one I asked her a question. I told her about what some of the devils had said through demonpossessed people. I've had him to scream out and say, "Don't tell me to hate Satan because I love Satan." And if your God was the kind of God he ought to be, he'd forgive Satan. I've had devils to tell me that right out of devil possessed people. This witch told me, he said, "That's the first lesson in the first church of Satan." That that flew her over. She said, "That's the first lesson I teach us in the church of Satan. That God's not just, that he don't love like he claims he does because he holds grudges. He He's after Satan. He's built a hell for him. And if he was the kind of God he ought to be, he'd forgive him." She said, "That's the first lesson." Let me tell you something that is spreading across our nation like wildfire because the devil's behind it. The devil knows that he could put that thought over. He put it over to the angels and many of them fell and he's trying to put it over. But I said to some of those devils, I said, "You lying devil, shut up. You've never asked for forgiveness. You want to do what you're doing. You like what you're doing.
Then I see Daniel out there in Babylon. The Hebrew boys worshiping God, holding on to their one God. If they' have had three, they wouldn't mind added another. But people that don't believe but one ain't going to add nothing. They don't believe in that. But here he stands at high places. Here he stands with Nebuchadnezzar. And here Nebuchadnezzar after seeing God deliver the Hebrew boys wrote a decree. I want to tell you something. Don't throw off on the people that God is using in various places down to the time. I see him raising up people that can stand for the truth anywhere. The Hebrew boys didn't need a church in in Israel where they shouted and prayed to them every day to live and to believe what they believe. They could believe anywhere. Until you learn to live for God on low key, you'll never make it. There's valleys, right? There's times in the shadows of death. But you see, a lot of folks thinks they got a lot of Holy Ghost if they shout. No, you're just being blessed with what you already got. And that's great. But a lot of folks when they don't shout think they don't have much. It's not there. The Holy Ghost is like your body temperature. It's supposed to be 98° all times. If it's freezing outside, it's still 98. If it's 110 outside, it's still 98. The Holy Ghost is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Stand upon the word. Stand upon the word. He walks the dark valleys. Don't accuse somebody of being backslidated because in a valley. Amen. That's what all of Job's friends did. Accusing being backslid. But he wasn't backslid. He was in a battle with the devil. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And the fellas that was out there accusing him would have been backslid a long time ago with a whole lot less. But he's still hanging in there said, "No, he's crazy. I'm going to trust him. I don't know why my wealth's gone. I don't know why my hell's gone. I don't know why I buried my last young. But there's one thing I know. I'm going to trust God." Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
I've had a lot of great experiences, a lot of mountain tops. Had them right here this week. But you know, I have seen the Lord twice. Only both times in the darkest valley I ever walked through in my life. 21 years ago. A black valley. A dark valley. thick town and out. Devils coming to me, talking to me. Amen. But one day I looked and there he stood. When I couldn't eat, when I couldn't sleep, when I couldn't pray, I could just lay there. There's good. I almost got my feelings hurt after he left. He just told me something to do. He didn't tell me a thing about healing me. I guess he said, "You got the Bible? If you got any faith at all, you already done got that, but I want to make you a a part of Israel." He said, "I want you to pray when my spirit moves for Israel." Amen. I want you to know one thing. I got a little bit of say of what goes on over there. Just a little. Amen. And when it begins to move, I feel it. And I hit the prayer closet when they in trouble over there. Praise God. The next one was two years ago. The darkest valley I've ever been through. Let me tell you something, preachers. You've heard this. some of you that I wouldn't backslide nothing like that. And I had no intentions. But you see things that happened and it hurt and it hurt with them at church. They love me. But I didn't want to face him with this thing. And I told my wife, we'll get in the car and we'll leave. We'll go somewhere. We won't go to church today. We'll just drive. Well, ever since I was a little boy, I was always taught and believed that don't run, fight, but I was fixing to run. Wife said, "All right, soon as you get the dishes," I went in there and my office sat down. I wasn't praying, wouldn't expecting nothing. Sadness, loneliness blue. Then all of a sudden, in three feet of me, there was a face as real as yours. The beard had been plucked out. The cheeks were beat. The eyes were black. The lips were swollen. And I looked up and there was a crown of thorns on his head. I saw the real prickling blood from those thorns trickling down the side of his face. It was that close and that real. He didn't say one word, but I was being going up hill and he fainted out. You were saying, "Tom, I didn't run. I didn't run." When it came time to go to Calvary, I didn't run. Amen. There's no place to run. There's no place to turn back. Saints, we got to keep going. Keep going. Keep going. This is our day, the greatest day.
Now in the New Testament, Jesus, I find him eating Republicans and Senators and they question that. I see a beacon riding a chariot, Brother Kennedy. Some of the members said, "Look at that beacon. Who does he think he is up there with that big shot?" Ah, he'll backslide probably. Now, they didn't know and he's preaching Jesus to that unic. He's laying it on the line to him. They didn't know that that un gone to Jerusalem and didn't find the truth. And now God was determined that he held the truth. Oh, only road to Damascus. Church is playing. You know, they needed a big shop. Needed a world figure of everything. The church did. You know, they needed somebody everybody knew. So God just saw him going down the road with that warrant in his pocket. Amen. The boat's right hit. Bang down in the dirt. And he heard a voice saying, "Why persecutest thou me?" And he knew, he said, "Who art thou?" And he said, "I'm Jesus, whom thou persecutest?" And there was a fellow down praying, named Ananas. He had revelation gifts. He listened to me. Thank God there was somebody had some had a revelation gift with him. Amen. Cuz there was a man out there needed help. He he he he was he was a great man in his place but he needed a revelation on getting baptized and he need Holy Ghost. Here was a fellow and the Lord spoke to him and he said and I hear my Lord said I want you to go to certain street certain place revelation gives the name place time go I want you to go over there over there I want you to go he said Lord wait a minute he said that fell headed over here to get us he said but wait a that night he's praying. He's praying. He's praying. A praying man's harmless and an ice. He's desperate. He needs something. And what I'm coming up to, I know a lot of you has been jealous and I have and I've complained about it. I have belly aching gifts and didn't have all of it. And not but a few weeks ago in prayer, the Lord spoke to me. I was talking to him about it. I just never let him alone about it. I said, "Don't understand it. Don't understand it, Lord. Don't understand it." He said, "Look, they've come into the vocal gifts. They've come into the power gifts, and I'm heading them into the revelation gifts, and that's what Ananas had." Amen. That's what Paul had. And I want you to know when they get there. They ain't going to be no deviating. Amen. You can pray for the sick and still not have the revelation. But I want you to know when that gift of wisdom hits, there is one God. It will say there is one God and his name is Jesus. The pure ism. There is one god. It's either put up or shut up. Then that'll be it. After that, if they don't walk in it, goodbye, brother Timmy. You'll find them in the bar. Amen. I want you to know we own the very threshold of the greatest revival, the greatest revelation the world has ever seen. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Oh, praise God. Everybody say it. Do it, Jesus. Now, Lord, now we Pentecostals need to stay where we at.
I was visiting one of my saints and the lady was back in the back. Bunch of us in the living room. Got two little boys. One, two, one, four, giving him a bath. Little two-year-old got loose. Come running in. Where we is at? He didn't know where he's at. He's jumping and playing. He didn't feel condemned. He's having a time leaping, chopping, playing with his toys. His mom missed him a little bit. She come in and got him spanked, took them out and put some clothes on him. There's a lot of these folks running and they don't seem to feel condemned, but they're babies. What if we started pulling our clothes off? We'd have been the sinners. We'd have been the sinners. Not that little old thing. Pentecostals, keep your clothes on. Keep your hair long. Amen. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. Glory. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Everybody say, "This is our day." This is our day. Lord, put your hand on us. Put your hand on it. Give us direction. We are ready to go. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Glory. Hallelujah. Sister Kenny, I'm glad the Lord's using you. I'm glad you the Lord's using you. He's raised you up for that purpose. tell them folks out there about it. He talks to a lot of the so-called high class. We're the high class, but they think they are. But once they get this, we'll all be one. Now, the prayer of Jesus Christ was this. He prayed that we all may be one. His prayer that we all may be one. All Holy Ghost fil people ought to be one. They ought to have one God, one name, and one church. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I feel pretty good right now. Amen. Praise the Lord.
When the Lord created the earth and he made his plan for a church, he didn't stop it in 1930. On his calendar, he's got a 1985, too. A lot of folks think the devil is going to take old complete and hopefully going to whip us all out and we'll just make it by the skin of her teeth. If the church will wake up, we'll put the old boy to fight. When Jesus met the devil, there's 2,000 of them run like eight. There it is. They run and they got a bunch of hugs. That's the end of them. All they had to do is meet Jesus. That's all we got to do. Don't try to sell them on something. Tell them about Jesus. Oh, you can say we got a big church and we got this and we got a choir and we got all this and this and this. Oh, everybody's got that. Folks that don't even know about the Holy Ghost got that. Sing, they got music. And that's another thing I'm thankful of the Lord. We've got over the rock and roll age and we're getting into some Holy Ghost singing around. Glory. That's a good sign. That's a good sign. Hallelujah. Brother, Sister Freeman. I love y'all. You've done a mighty work in the earth. Praise God. Praise God. I feel your spirit when I'm preaching. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Talk about me counseling folks. They counsel me sometimes, right? Go for miles to come over and talk to me when I was down and out having a battle. But I will tell you one thing. All I know is keep swinging. We're going to win. Well, I've got to bring this to a close. I didn't have time to get to today too much, but tomorrow glory glory.
I want to tell you something. I like my superintendent. I love him. Lord showed me 30 years ago he was going to lead the church when he's nothing. He's just a youth director. I saw it. Ball of fire setting countries on fire. Amen. With revival. I saw it a long time ago. Hallelujah. And the end is not yet. God is raising up mighty men among us. apostles to lead the church on in the great revival. Praise the Lord. I believe now I've got the Holy Ghost. That's enough. But I believe in the powerful ministry. I believe it with all of my heart. I'm only a servant. But let me tell you something. The Lord is getting ready to raise up. And he is doing it worldwide. Worldwide. I saw the end time revival. It didn't just happen in Louisiana. It didn't happen just in Missouri, brother. It came down worldwide. I saw an outpouring of the Holy Ghost worldwide. I saw a 100 million Pentecostals coming over the horizon of the earth marching like soldiers that knew where they're going and what they're going to do. Amen. I never forget the Holy Ghost spoke out of heaven and said, "Look." And I looked and they came from every nation they were ever tried. Marching, marching. We are marching. Amen. And hell is shaking. Shaking, shaking as we march. She's shaking. She's shaking. You say, "What is our number one need?
What's the greatest need for the church? Fire. Preacher don't pray. He can preach the pretty thing, but it just hits the head. They'll go on doing the same thing always. But I want to tell you something. The praying preacher hits the soul of a man when he preaches. The praying preacher hits the spirit of a man when he preaches. I will give you this little secret and I believe you can do this. When the devil is on coming at you suddenly become God, he is in you. The Holy Ghost is in your spirit, in your soul, in your body. Become God conscious. He's in me now. He sees that devil now. And all I've got to do is to say in Jesus name, hit the road. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. You see, we forget who we are sometime. We just start running. We're sons of God, born again of the water and of the spirit. We wear the name The devil said if we can just keep them ignorant for what they are and who they are, we can take it over. But I want you to know the church is waking up. The hour end, we haven't seen nothing yet.
But this has been a great camp. the apostolic Holy Spirit. One night the other night, was it Tuesday night? I saw a jewelry cloud sweep this place. This kind of glory like a blue light. I said, "Oh, devil ain't going to hang around here tonight. He can't stand the light. He can't stand the light. Somebody said, "Wonder what is wrong with the next service?" Well, we finally won. Brother T said, "Get up and pray." And every all of you prayed. Remember, we battled that old devil out. And we had a running good time around here. Praise God. But we had to fight. Now, I know the devil must have had a tough time getting any devil to come to the Louisiana count. Oh, I can hear when he called him and said, "Oh, he come in here." Yes. Well, you want us to go down on street? No. I want you to go to Ty. Oh, Mr. Devil, please. For God's sake. Oh, please. That's torture. That's torment. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Don't you like that? You know what I think the other devil said when they went? They come left out. Yeah. Yeah. We've been there. You won't have her when you get back. They said, "We wish there was no such thing as camp meeting. We don't like count meetings." There's a lot of human devils don't like them. We have more trouble with human devils. These human spirits sometime we have with the devil. All we got to do is hit him over the head. Jesus name ain't dead. But you can't do a human that way. They are free world ages. You know, you got to try to reason with them. Help them out. A lot of folks call me, you know, they're having all kind of trouble. I said, "It sounds like human spirit." So I said, "What do you do with them?" I said, "Just bind them." say now when they at least when they try to use them against the church say in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I bind every spirit that opposes the Holy Spirit bang close the door and that old gal has been just enjoying carrying all them tails all of a sudden she feels tough bad scared heart failures different things all right I'm coming to a close it's dinner time but I'm going to pray the
prayer of faith No, I'm not. We all are. Why not just do it big? Amen. If there's any devils in here, they're fixing to get it. If there's any sickness, diseases, they're fixing to get it. Amen. Only touching. Only touching. Amen. Would you stand? I want you to love Jesus first. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise God. Amen.
And when I ask you to say Jesus and tell you what to do, I want you to use your heart. First thing I want you to say, Jesus with love to him and love him when you say it. Everybody say it. Jesus, I love you. Jesus, I love you. Number two, let's say it with faith. Jesus, I believe in you with all my heart. Jesus, I believe. Jesus, I believe now. I believe now that every sickness and every disease will flee in Jesus name. Now, Oh glory. Oh glory. And the blind saw and the deaf heard and the lame walked. And the gorers disappeared. All in Jesus name. Glory. Say it with me again. Revival revival is here. It will go and grow until it covers the earth. And the glory of the Lord shall fill the whole earth. Let's just keep praising him. Hallelujah. Let's thank him for what we've heard. Hallelujah. Let's thank you for what we've heard.
