What the One God Message Will Do For the Church

Thank you. Thank you, Brother Murphy, for letting the Lord use you and all the other ministers, our evangelist last night. Healing went out for a lot of people last night and he's here today. I stopped preaching about going out to preach about this time last year and I haven't gone out but I'm fixing to again. I was troubled deeply about world conditions in the church and I then walked in the hills alone with the Lord. He met with me and he he gave me a message that's as old as he is. And that's the one that has no beginning or ending.

And I told the Lord, I said, "If you want me to preach this sermon at this camp, if I'm called on, I will last night. Brother Chance met me back there and asked me what I preach." And so I I will by the help of the Lord. And let me talk to you just a few moments before I read my text. Would you be seated? A young minister called me the other day. He said, "Why is it since I've been called, all hells broke loose?" I said, ' Do you expect the devil to sit around and twidd his thumbs while you make the grade? And I said, I'd like to warn you ahead of time. When you rise up out of this that you're in, there'll be another set of devils. And when you climb a little higher, there'll be another set that's smarter than these. And if the church don't move ahead of the devil, we're going to find oursselfves locked up.

And 1988 has brought us into a new dimension. We must rise with the occasion. And I have found out if you rise with him when Satan fires, it's like a little boy with air rifle shooting at an airplane. He can't touch us. But if we're down with him, eyeball to eyeball, he's going to walk on us. The Lord is calling the church to a higher dimension. He planned this church before the foundation of the world. He planned this church before the devil ever knew he's going to be a devil. The Lord planned apostles and prophets. We're built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets. Jesus Christ being the chief cornerstone. We are built right. We are feel right. We wear the right name but we can drag our feet as an organization. I love it. Appreciate it. Stayed with it. Don't intend to leave. Let me tell you something. When David decided to leave the ark on the enemy's wagon, it brought death. When they took the ark and place it back in the ministry where it belonged, then they went on to victory. An organization can grow and grow and should and God will bless. But if it's ever taken out of the hands of the ministry, goodbye, it'll split two ways, four ways, a dozen ways. Our eyes should be upon the kingdom. He rules through his kingdom and we are in the kingdom and the kingdom is in us. We are called to rule. But if we start doing it with our own brains, somebody's going to die. Organizations are going to split. People are going to go this way and that way. We need to get our eyes back on the one true God that rules the kingdom and worship him. You know, I got so angry the other day. I prayed like I've never prayed. I read where a horrible film is coming to America. Our Lord will be portrayed as a immoral person. I got angry.

I prayed. I said, "God, give us all you got. try to wipe us out. We're sick and tired of the devil. He can jump on somebody else. But when they jump on my Lord, when they jump on my Jesus, he was without sin. He's the one that banished sin from your life and mine. He's the one that made us morally clean by his blood. Now give it to us, God, to wipe us out. Amen. Amen. Are we going to stand by and allow that? No. In the name of Jesus, no. Over and over I've met the witches, the demon possessed. And I tell you, it's time to wake up. When the witches, when the seances are closed in our cities, we begin to smell the smoke. It's time to wake up, church. A young man called me last year. He said, "I've been in a witch group, been open up seances, but said when they chose your church to focus on," he said, "I left them. It scared me." If we don't focus on the devil, he's going to focus on us. This is our day. God's depending on us. Praise God. One of the greatest one God preachers that ever lived. And my text today will be what a Bible revelation of the one God can do for the church and what it'll do for the devil. Amen. What a Bible revelation. of the one through God can do for the church. The one I'm reading about, Moses, the greatest one God preacher. He got the revelation at the burning bush. The Apostle Paul, the greatest, one of the greatest apostle to the Gentiles, got the revelation of one God on the way to

Damascus. And it never left him. He's the one who said without controversy, great is a minister of godliness. God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen of angels, preached to the Gentiles, believed on in the world, and received up in the glory here in Exodus 33rd chapter. And Moses said unto the Lord, 12th verse, see thou saest unto me, bring up this people, and thou hast not let me know whom thou will send with me. Yet thou has said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight. Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, show me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I might find grace in thy sight, and consider that this nation is thy people. And he said, "My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest." And he said unto him, "If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up." Listen to this. For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? How are we going to know, Lord, that we found grace in your sight? How's the world going to know it? He answered, "Is it not in that thou goest with us? So shall we be separated I and thy people from all the people that are upon the face of the earth. And the Lord said unto Moses, I'll do this thing unto thee that thou hast spoken, for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name. But Moses wasn't satisfied. He said, "Now I beseech thee, show me thy glory." Our superintendent, will you pray?

Now can you praise the Lord? Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. You may be seated. First of all, let us take a look at what happened when a second so-called God appeared on the scene. The first thing I want you to remember with me, God created man to worship one God, to believe in one God and to listen to one voice. He was created for that purpose. To believe in one, worship one, and listen to one. That has always been There was great peace in heaven, glory everywhere. But one day another voice appeared. Satan or Lucifer. He said, "I will ascend above the heavens and I'll be like the most high. I'll be God." And a third of the angels believed it. And it brought war to heaven. war to heaven and a third of them fell. And the peace that heaven had known was gone because a second appeared on the scene and somebody listened. Remember we are created to listen to one, to worship one, to believe in one. And man is God's greatest creation. He made him so sensitive. He gave him such great power. Man is so sensitive to God when he wills to be that all of his gifts can flow through him. The five-fold ministry can flow through him. And he gave Adam power and dominion over the earth. And it was beautiful. They waited every evening to hear the voice of the Lord and to worship him. But one day another voice came. The voice of Satan and they listened. They lost their power. They lost their dominion. A curse came upon them. Death came. And we had a funeral the other day. And we'll continue to have funerals because man listened to the second voice. He was created to believe in one God and to worship one God and listen to one voice. And oh church of the living God. We too were born into this church to worship one God, to believe in one God, and to listen to one voice. And the Holy Ghost is speaking today. Let the church hear that one voice that's speaking out to us now.

In 3:25, the great apostolic church had gone for a hundred years and fell the earth, turned cities and nations upside down. But one day, another god appeared on the scene and they changed water baptism 325 or tried to didn't change it for me. Another voice was added. Three separate distinct persons. They said the results of listening to another voice. The dark ages. The dark ages came and just recently have we been coming out. I read the other day where Howard Goss, our former general superintendent, was baptized in that lovely name in 193. Then I read where brother Andrew and others came along and the light has been shining here and there because God wants the world to hear this and to see this. This one God truth is an eternal truth. It's not something that just happened. It has always been before there's ever sun, moon, and star. Before the first angel ever opened his eyes, before the first Adam ever floated out into empty space, there was one true living God. There never has been another and there never will. There's only one voice to listen to today. For some reason, the Lord seemed to be afraid that man might listen. It seemed like it would have been good enough for him to say it one time, but over 900 times he placed it in this book. There's one. Why? He knew the chaos it could bring. He knew the danger. Then when we look up at the stars and all the galaxies, he wanted us to know for sure that only one made them.

So he said in Isaiah 24 44:24, "I stretch forth the heavens alone." That ought to be plain enough. I stretch forth the heavens alone. When you look at the stars, remember he did it alone. And then he said, "I stretch forth the earth, spreadth the earth all by myself." All by myself. I did it alone. By myself. what this message will do to the church to get back to it and believe it more than just a doctrine but as a revelation. Moses received it as a revelation. The Apostle Paul received it by revelation. Not just a doctrine alone. I read the story where the devil turned preacher. He got him a Bible and a briefcase, suit and a tie, and he started out preaching. And Ellis called him in and said, "What's going on?" He said, "Well," he said, "I preach without the anointing." The letter killed. He said, "I go ahead of you and harden their hearts." I preached without the anointing. and they kill them before you get there. My God in heaven, we need to wake up preachers, saints. We need to sing with the anointing, pray with the anointing, shout with the anointing, preach with the anointing, believe with the anointing. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

Now, what truth troubles the devil the most? getting it down now where you can as lay members everybody can work on the devil. You know, I've had them to scream at me, devil possessed people, witches. They said, "Your God is not just. Your God is not a God of love." They would tell me that if your God was what he claims to be, he'd forgive the devil. He'd forgive Satan. And I'd always answer back. I'd say, "You foul devil from hell. You've never asked forgiveness because you hate him." And he screamed out. He said, "What we need is a new Bible. One will teach love for God, love for the Satan, and love for all people." That's what we're up against today. And these compromises are getting closer and closer to it all time. But we are determined as a church of the living God to believe one God, worship one God.

James 2:19 said, "Thou believest that there is one God. Thou doest well." Would you say it with me? We're doing well. We're doing all right. We going to continue doing all right. Then he said, "The devil believes also that there's one God and he trembles. We shout but the devil trembles." That means shake, become agitated, filled with fear, some jarring force. This message to hell is a jarring force. Let's agitate him. Let's upset him. Everybody stand and say it with me. Hear it, oh Lucifer. There is one God and his name is Jesus. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Agitate him, jar him, upset him, fill him appear.

Next time the devil comes to you and begin to oppress and depress and talk, say, "Just sit down a minute. I'm going to preach one God to you." Did you ever hear about him? Did you ever hear about him? Satan, there's one God and his name one. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Can you see it? He's trembling. He's shaking. He's agitated. He's upset. He can't take it no more. He's gone. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. You don't need to sit down till I get through with this verse. I want you to see the force of his presence. the force when this one God is glorified, worshiped, comes walking down through the church, I want you to see his force. Has he got any? Hallelujah.

Here in Revelation 2011, and I saw a great white throne and him, one God on it, him, not them. I want you to see what happened. Amen. Him that sat on the throne, whose face the earth and the heavens fled away and there was found no place for them. Can you think of it just a moment? a 100red trillion galaxies and they say with 300 trillion stars in each one of them and all of a sudden this one true God steps out and sets down on his throne and everything goes running wild. Here they go. No place found for them. They're fleeing from the force of his presence. Revelation 4, there was one. There was a throne and there was one sitting on that throne. One sitting on that throne, but it wasn't quite. There was a rainbow there. That was lightning. That was thunder. The 420 elders on their face. And the four beasts were shouting, "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty." The force of his presence against hell. We can't do it with our brains. We can't do it with our muscle. We got to get this one true God walking with us. You can be seated.

But when you think of the force of his presence against hell, against planets, suns, moons, and stars, you got to think of something else. His power to draw. If I, not we. Everybody said, "If I, not we, if I be lifted up, I will draw all men under me. If I, the one through God, lifted up, I'll draw." Oh, man. Not our wisdom, not our great preaching. Not I great or he said lift me up as the one true God and I will draw all men unto me. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Satan's kingdom can be shaken then and it will be. We are the only people that can. Who else can? Brother Tenny. Nobody. That's right, brother Timmy. They can't even dent it. They can't even scratch it. You see, there's only one truth that shakes hell, agitates hell, upsets hell, hurls hell back, and that is the one God message. Hallelujah. It can, it will, it is be unshakable.

Now, brother Chance quoted one of my scriptures. We're not fighting against flesh and blood, but spiritual wickedness in high places. World rulers of darkness. World rulers. We'll never take this world ourself. We're going to have to let the kingdom The kingdom isn't us. Psalms 103 said God rules all through his kingdom. He rules it through the church. Amen. I don't care how smart you get. I've seen a lot of limbs move and straighten out and limbs grow. Amen. I watched legs walk that had it never walked. I see that it never seen. But I want to tell you one thing. It wasn't TWW Barnes. I'll tell you what was happening when I saw that happen. A spirit of prophecy, God was speaking to me. He took over and he spoke through me. God was saying, "I say unto you, straighten out." My God in heaven has got to do it. That's why we need the anointing. That's why we need to hear the one voice. If that one voice comes through the preacher, devils will flee. The cripples will walk, the blind will see, the deaf will hear. If the one true voice come through him, the rulers of darkness, they sitting up there. I want to tell you the angel over Kyogre just as we hear, he would be helpless without orders from the principalities. You see this principalities and world rulers of darkness like a pyramid. They sending it down. What to do?

Now we coming into a time. We'll be talking about it tonight in the 6:45 service. Don't miss it. Focus prayer against the key boys up at the top. Amen. Going for the top. Why not? Since the devil himself shakes when he hears it, why don't we take care of the top boys? Why don't we confuse them? And then the angel down here won't get no message. We got him all messed up. He don't know how to work. Then our churches will have revival. Now the rulers of darkness be controlled through focused prayer. through this prayer we can confuse the communication of the kingdom of darkness. We can reduce the power and weaken his strategy and the enemy cannot come through to the church of the living God. We need to bind together in one mind, one accord through focused prayer. If the church wild worldwide would focus on the principalities, the ones that plans it. You see, there's angels over America. They are trained. They know our laws, our rules. They know the government, the congressmans, the senators, everybody. They work from the bottom to the top. and they've got a good hold on us now. But this focus prayer is going to mess him up if we'll ever get together. And when that prayer when that prayer that focused prayer one day becomes the voice of God, goodbye, Satan. You think the God that spoke Lucifer into existence couldn't speak him out? He hadn't said a word whenever the heavens and the earth fled away. He just sat down up there. The force of his presence blew it. Amen. And the devil knows. He could just say, "Let there be no more devil. It all be over." He knows that. That's why it scares the daylights out of him. We got to keep him scared. I got to hurry. Just a few more minutes.

Churches, churches then can break the enemy's lines and for great revival and victory it will come. Now we mentioned the force of his presence and also the power is drawing power to the lost world. But the message is this. We must lift him up as the everlasting father. We must lift him up as the one true God. God with us. That's what the angel said. We've got to lift him up as Thomas did when he said, "My Lord and my God." We got to lift him up as the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end.

Now Moses said, "Lord, if you don't walk with us, if you're not there, how in the world are people going to know? How are we going to be a separated people? How we going to be clean? We need you walking with us." Now, Moses, the greatest one God preacher that ever walked the face of the earth, he got the message at the burning bush. He said, "Who will I tell him sent me?" And that Jehovah God said, "Tell him I am that I am sent you." He walked into Egypt with a rod in his hand and he knew they was looking for his hide because he'd killed one of them 40 years before. But God said, "I'll go with you, Moses." Moses said, "I ain't going if you don't. We're fools to try anything without him. Hello, let my people go. And you know the story of this one man with a rod in his hand, they marched out. But one day, one day on Mount Sia in the presence of this one true God, God said, "Get down. This people's backslid down there. Moses goes back down. There they were worshiping another God made God angry. He don't like no second business. Amen. But this one man with the one true God that was on Mount Si with him walked among three million people. Any six of them without God with him could have stoked him in the ground. But this one God man with the one God with him brought the whole three million to their knees. He ground up the calf before their eyes. He poured it in the water and made them drink it. The power of one God.

Elijah said, "If God's God, all right, we're going to prove it here. There's yours. Try yours out. The world's telling the church that. Let's see what yours will do. Elijah said, "I know what mine will do." Amen. He soaked that altar. He didn't give any room for a doubt that there might have been a match or a cold of fire down there. He soaked it and he prayed a little short prayer to the one God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And that one little prayer brought the one true God down and burned up the sacrifice. You say, "Brother Barnes, what did you ever get to think?" You know, the Lord, he has to work a long time to get us to understand. Now, I've preached one God all my life and so have you. But there is something we need to understand. And as you believe and worship, you release something. I've seen people believe in healing but couldn't get it because there was something lacking. They believed in their head. But when they believed in their heart, they got it. I was preaching one night years ago on the one true God on Mount Si with Moses. You can believe anything you want to believe today, but I know a ball of fire shot from over my head across the audience and they screamed as they went. The door opened for it. There was a sinner sitting in the car. It always came just as church is over to pick up

his wife. And I think Sister Ramsey's here probably in the audience right now. Are you here, Sister Ramsey? Where you at? Stand up. It was her husband. Amen. You stand back up and call me down if I tell it wrong. And he told her when she came out said, I saw a terrible sight. said that door opened and a ball of fire came out. One thing about it, he never sat outside anymore, did he? He came inside. He later got the Holy Ghost baptized in Jesus name. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. The force, the power, the drawing power of this one true God. And now last and we're going to pray. Few years ago, the devil had been on my trail. He had beat and tried to stomp me. And I always said, "Now, devil, you wasted your time. I ain't going to throw the towel in. I ain't going to quit. The last breath I ever have, I'm going to say, devil, you lost in Jesus name." I said, I don't know why you're wasting your time. I tell you now, I ain't going to quit. I'm not going to accuse God. Way into the night, Brother Mike Brazle was there. He can tell you.

I prayed on and on and I got angry at the devil. The more angry you need to get. You need to learn to be blunt with the devil. Jesus was blunt. He said, "If you're the son of God," he said, "It's written." He didn't argue with him. He just said, "It's written." He said, jump off of this pinnacle, this temple. Jesus was so blunt. He said, "It's written." He didn't say, "Ah, he didn't go in any detail." Why? He said, "You see all these kingdoms? I'll give them to you if you'll fall down and worship me." He was so blunt and cold. He said, "It's written." And the old boy walked off. He'll always walk off when you shout, "It's written." Instead of trying to get a dream or revelation, find where it's written. Amen. I got angry. I said, "Oh, God, you said anything that I ask in your name, believing you'd receive it, I'd receive it." I said, "I'm going to ask you something. I'd never asked in all of my life. But I said, I'm asking you let me come face to face with the devil. Brother Brass said, "I don't know whether I want to follow him any further or not, but I knew I was in the spirit. I knew something had a hold of me. You know, something had a hold of me. You know, I you know, you're whatever God gets a hold of you." He wanted me down there. And I shouted to the top of my voice, "Head, oh Lucifer or Satan,

oh Satan, there is one God and his name is Jesus." I shouted it again and again and about that time a ball of fire shot across the church over the balcony crossed the side of the church and around. Didn't the Bible say the devil would tremble, shake? when we meet the devil with this one message. Hear it and some of you need to pray it with me now again because while you're praying it here, oh Lucifer or Satan, the Lord our God is one and his name is Jesus. I asked the Lord once. I said, "What's so powerful about that name? Why is it so powerful?" He said, "My word's in it. My blood's in it. All the authority in heaven is in it and behind it. My spirit is in it." And he said, "My faith is in it. The faith of God." When you talk about the faith of God, you know why the sun, moon, and stars are hanging out there? That's the faith of God. And he said, "My faith." You think, You think if he was running out of faith, he'd take it from his name? He'd take one of them planted out there if he had to and let it fall apart. He ain't going to take it away from his name. God said, "My faith is in my name and behind my name to make it work." Anybody love it? And if you want it to work, you've got to say it with love. You've got to say it with faith. We You got to say it with vision. See it coming to pass.

Everybody stand. Are you ready for that devil that agitates, torments to leave? You ready for him to leave and take that disease with him? Take that unbelief. Now, what does this message mean to the church? Worldwide victory. over the kingdoms of darkness, worldwide revival in the early 70s. I saw a vision one afternoon. I saw the sun about to set and dark clouds were headed to blotted out even before time. And I said, "Oh God, what is this?" And about that time, a boat of light shot through that dark cloud just before sunset and struck the earth. And I heard a voice saying, "Great power is coming." And then there will be light. Zechariah said at evening time. Read a little bit further. Zechariah, what light? He said in that day shall be one Lord and his name one light at evening time. Light for the church evening time. One Lord the heavens flat away. Power. Power. All right. Say it with me. Hear it.

Satan. There is one God. God. Put some more emphasis in that. Hear it, Satan. There is one God. There's one God. There's one God. And his name is Jesus. His name is Jesus. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And the heavens and the earth fled away because of his presence. Your disease is fleeing away because of his presence. Your heartbreak is fleeing away because of his presence. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Your defeats will be turned into prosperity because of his presence. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. There was only one. before the first Adam. This is the eternal doctrine, the eternal truth. There was one. There'll always be one. There's one person to worship. God was in Christ. Worship Jesus. There's one voice to listen to. He is. And you'll have victory. Let this one God walk in your house and your church. Just walk through, Lord. Close your eyes. Father, we delivered what you gave us. Now lay your hand on every person. That nail scarred hand. Lay it upon them now. Let them feel it. The surging of your spirit be felt. Amen. You'll be hearing more and more about focused prayer. Come out tonight 6:45. We're going to force force focus our prayers as a church against the principalities and they're going to get confused and the church is going to have revival. God bless you.
