Summary
- He thanks brother Tenny and calls the praise up — nobody has yet praised God beyond his greatness — then gives honor to brother Tenny, the district board and the platform and political guests in this Pentecostal camp meeting. During brother Cole's Bible study today a television crew interviewed him: "Are all denominations invited to this camp meeting?" His answer: these are the last days, God is pouring out his Spirit upon all flesh, and this revival cannot be contained within the walls of an organization. Tonight, he says, we will answer last night's message. He opens the Bible to Isaiah chapter 5 and reads one verse, verse 14: "Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure, and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth shall descend into it." Hell is running a building program tonight — but his message to somebody in this tabernacle is the sermon's title: tell hell I ain't coming.
- Then he tells on the devil from the word of God. Isaiah 14:12 — "How art thou fallen?" The adversary is fallen and falling, and while he falls the church is rising. God stripped him of his cover: in Ezekiel 28:13 he was covered with every precious stone, but God removed his covering and built us a city out of it — the city of Revelation, made of all manner of precious stones. Each of the devil's boasts is answered with what belongs to the church. He said, "I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation in the sides of the north" — but brother Mangan reads Psalm 48 with him, line by line: great is the Lord, greatly to be praised in the city of our God, beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, Mount Zion on the sides of the north, the city of the great King. That's not yours, devil; that's ours. He said, "I will ascend above the heights of the clouds" — but the scripture says in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 that the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first, and we which are alive and remain shall be caught up to meet the Lord in the air: the church is going through the clouds. He said, "I will be like the most high" — but 1 John chapter 3 and 2 says, beloved, now are we the sons of God; when he shall appear, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. The devil's never going to be like him. That is why the devil hates you: everything he ever wanted, God is giving to the church — and the one who kicked him out of heaven is the one who whipped him on earth and resides inside us. It does not take three gods to whip one devil. "Here, oh Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord."
- The refrain runs through everything that follows: while some are giving up, giving out and giving in, tell hell I ain't coming. He has had his disappointments, discouragements, disillusionments and disgusts, but it hadn't got that bad yet — there might have been a little stink inside the ark, but there was a whole lot of storm outside it. Micah said, "Rejoice not against me, O my enemy; for when I fall, I shall arise." And Paul chose his words carefully: I fought the fight, I kept the faith — but he could not say he kept the course; he said he finished it. The important thing is that you finish; everybody gets a little off course, and that's what camp meeting is for. He tells of the brand-new convert witnessing to a coldhearted agnostic who demanded she explain Jonah's three days in the belly of the whale. She couldn't — "but when I get to heaven, I'll ask him." "What are you going to do if he's not there?" "You ask him — cuz you can tell hell I ain't coming."
- It is time to celebrate, and the rejoicing is not an act: we don't act happy, we are happy. Reason one: our past is pardoned. In Raleigh somebody asked him, "What color is your church? … Is it white? … Is it black?" "It's red," he said, "because everybody there has been put under the blood of Jesus Christ; when you get in Christ, there's neither Jew nor Greek, bond nor free." You are worshiping beside ex-thieves, ex-drug addicts, brother Fred Hyde, alcoholics delivered by the power of God — and the spiritual traffic inspectors who know what you did two weeks ago don't know what the blood did last night. Reason two: our present is powerful. Greater is he that is in me. A little old sister in his church testified: he heals me when I'm sick, he provides when I don't know where my money is coming from, I'm an old lady now but he's never left me or forsaken me — "Ain't God somebody?" "I come to Louisiana to tell you: my God is somebody." Reason three: our future is promised. The sinner doesn't know what tragedy might befall him tomorrow, but my Bible said there's nothing going to take me but such as is common to man, and when it comes my God is going to make a way out; the devil is never going to hem me in or quarter me in. There's more forgiveness than failure, more grace than sin — and more God than there is devil.
- Then the trap, announced as a trap: give me the opposite equivalent. Darkness — wrong; right — down; up — out; in; bad — good; and then, devil — and the room says God, and embarrasses itself. We have been programmed to believe the devil is God's opposite equivalent. He is not: my God is omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent; the devil is only a fallen angel, and Jesus cast devils out by his finger — God can take care of the devil without breaking a sweat. Life is too short to live with a kicking devil: a neighbor sold a good cow for one reason only — every morning she kicked him — and one morning he exercised his options. "I just exercised my options." Nobody under the sound of my voice has to go to hell. In the Old Testament the priest never examined the sin and never interrogated the sinner; all the priest examined was the sacrifice — whether you have a worthy, adequate sacrifice. Lift your eyes from the sin and look at the sacrifice: when our sacrifice said "It is finished," it was finished. His own little nephew was thirteen years old, diagnosed with a tumor in his heart; the doctor said the lad would have to have open-heart surgery, and he and his wife saw the tumor with their own eyes — but God healed him and took it all away. Praying alone for the boy one morning, he offered God anything he could give up, quit doing or lay aside to enhance the child's opportunity to be healed — and God answered: don't you understand, there is nothing you can add to what I have already done at Calvary; all you need to do is believe me. "I am an adequate sacrifice. I am a sufficient sacrifice."
- The last reason you can tell hell you ain't coming is that hell was never prepared for you. Brother Mangan helps him read Matthew 25:41: "Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels." When God built hell he wasn't thinking of you; if you go to hell, you go as an intruder. Then the reading turns: "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in me; in my Father's house are many mansions; … I go to prepare a place for you; and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also." Hell wasn't prepared for you — but Jesus went to prepare a place for you.
- The altar call turns on love. A saint sent him a card whose printed writing was generic, but at the bottom she had written, "Pastor, Jesus loves you very much" — and the tears flowed. He prepared a mansion for you; he did not prepare hell for you. Hands go up all over the building — people who have slipped from where they once were with God. This platform is a pulpit, and a pulpit is where men pull people from the pit: "Would you join with me, church — while I pull, would you push?" The altars fill from the left, the right and the center — backsliders, sinners, first-time visitors — while the church prays and sings: hail — hell — I ain't coming. People are praying in the balcony; what a message: I don't want to go to hell. The old-fashioned altar service is still running, in song, as the captioned record ends.

Thank you, brother Tenny. Praise the Lord, everybody. Praise the Lord, everybody. Praise the Lord. I like the volume of our praise tonight. Let's keep it up. I said, let's keep it up. He's worthy of our worship and our praise tonight. No one here has given him praise yet that exceeds his greatness. There is no way that we could offer unto him more than he is worthy. So I challenge you to turn the volume up on your praise and let's raise this roof for Jesus Christ. I said, "Let's do it for him. He's worthy of our praise." Opening your Bibles, please, to Isaiah.
I love my master. Love my master. Somebody back in the back is shouting, "I love my master." Anybody here love your master tonight. And I love that response to the word of the Lord. Isaiah chapter 5. And we will answer last night's message tonight. Isaiah chapter 5 and verse number 14. I know that we entered the word of the Lord from somewhat of a negative standpoint, but you will know if you hear me very often that I am not a negative preacher. For all the promises of God in him are yay and amen. And we praise God tonight for what we feel in this tabernacle. Isaiah chapter 5 and we will be reading one verse, verse number 14. I give honor to brother Tenny, the district board, to our platform guest, political friends who are here tonight. We're honored to have them in this Pentecostal camp meeting. Prior to or during the course of brother Cole's message today, his Bible study, Sister Huntley and I were here, I was uh called outside and the uh TV did an interview and the question was asked, "Are all denominations invited to this camp meeting?" My response was, "These are the last days and God is pouring out his spirit. upon all flesh. This revival cannot be contained within the walls of an organization. And I feel that kind of power here tonight. Isaiah chapter 5, one verse of scripture, verse number 14. Therefore, hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure, and their glory, and their multitude, and their pop, and he that rejoiceth shall descend into it. I am particularly enlarging tonight upon the phrase from Isaiah 5 and14 that says, "Hell hath enlarged herself." Apparently, there is a building program going on in hell. plans are being gone thrown into process in hell tonight.
But I'm not really concerned about what's going on in hell. My message to you and to someone in this tabernacle tonight is tell hell I ain't coming. Tell hell. I ain't North Carolina vocabulary coming. Turn around, shake two or three hands and say you can tell hell I'm not coming. Hallelujah.
I appreciate it so very much, Brother Cole's remarks today, particularly his remarks relevant to our adversary. I think it's time that this church love the Lord Jesus Christ with a raging passion. But I also believe it's time for us to despise and to vehematly oppose our adversary. So during the course of this great gathering of Pentecostals tonight, I'd like for us to take this pullpit time and tell on the devil. I think there's some misnomers, misrepresentations. and misconceptions that are plagued in the minds of Christians tonight. And we need to set the record straight. While we're exalting Jesus, let's put the devil down. Is there anybody here that loves Jesus? Is there anybody here tonight that hates the devil? I don't know about you, but I'm sick of the devil. I'm angry with the devil. It's time in Louisiana to put the devil down and let's get Jesus up. The Bible lets us know some things about him which I'd like to tell on him tonight from the word of God. And that is simply this. Isaiah 14:12, the Bible says, "How art thou fallen?" Would the assembly shout fallen? I'm telling you, there's something he don't want you to know. And that is he is falling. We are at war with a falling adversary. And while our adversary is falling, the church is rising. It's quite interesting to me to note that our God stripped him of his cover. In Ezekiel 28:13, the Bible said he was covered with every precious stone. But in Revelation 21-19, the Bible speaks about a city that was built. And the scripture says it was made out of all manner of precious stones. Our God stripped our adversary and exposed him, removed his covering and took his covering and built us a city. Have you ever wondered why the devil hates you? Why does the devil hate Christians? Where is the devil coming from? What is his mentality and his thought relative to us as Christians? I can't tell you exactly that it is very important to know where he came from cuz I don't think that's really his problem. His problem is not where he's coming from. His problem is where he's going. And he knows he doesn't have but a little time to get there. And I've been told all my life that misery loves company. But I got to tell the devil tonight, somebody's going to tell hell, I ain't coming. I want you to notice this. In Isaiah 14, the devil said, "I will sit also upon
the mount of the congregation of the sides of the north." Everybody shout, "The devil said that." That's what the devil said. But listen to what the word says. As brother Mangan reads for us, some great is the Lord. Psalm 48:1 and2. Great is the Lord. Yes. Go ahead. Greatly to be praised. Greatly to be praised in the city of our God. In the city of our God. In the mountain of his holiness. In the mountain of his holiness. Beautiful for situations. Beautiful for situations. The joy of the whole earth. The joy of the whole earth. Is Mount Zion on the sides of the north? Is Mount Zion on the sides of the north? The city of the great king. The city of the great king. What I'm showing you here is the devil said, "I'm going to sit on the side of the north." No, no, no, you're not. That's where the church is. That's not yours, devil. That's ours. He also said, "I will ascend above the heights of the clouds." But the scripture says in 1 Thessalonians 4:16, "For the Lord himself For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven shall ascend from heaven with a shout. With a shout, with the voice of the archangel, with the voice of the archangel, with the trump of God, with a trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise in Christ are going to rise first. Then we which are remain which arrive and remain shall be caught up shall be called to meet the Lord in the air. To meet the Lord in the air, the devil's not going into the clouds. The church is going through the clouds. That's not yours, devil. That's ours. He said, "I will be like the most high." That's what the devil said. But the Bible said in 1 John chapter 3 and 2, "Beloved, now are we the sons of God." Beloved, now are we the sons of God. It does not yet appear what we shall be. Yet appear what we shall be. But we know But we know that when he shall appear, when he appears, we shall be like him. The devil's never going to be like him. But when we go up, we shall be like we shall be like him. For we shall see him. For we're going to see him as he is. As he is, what I'm preaching to you tonight is
this. The reason the devil hates you is because everything he ever wanted God is giving it to the church. Eat your heart out, devil. We're blood washed. We're spiritfilled. We're the ransom, redeemed bride of Christ. Let me quickly add this. Another reason he hates you is because the one that kicked him out of heaven is the one that whipped him on earth and resides inside. There is nothing the devil enjoys anymore than for folks to lift up his ego and to inflate his conceit by propounding that it takes three gods to whip one devil. He likes that. But what the devil don't like about this apostolic church is we know the one that whipped him in heaven is the one that whipped him in earth and lives in us tonight. Here, oh Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord. And you can tell hell I ain't coming. You tell hell I ain't coming. You tell hell I ain't coming. The Bible indicates that arrangements, preparations, accommodations, enlargements, additions are being added to hell. But during the course of this camp meeting, we have come to tail hell. I ain't coming. While some are giving up, giving out, giving in, going down, tell hell, I ain't coming. I got to tell somebody tonight, I'm not the least bit discouraged. I want the devil to know God's church is not just holding on. I want the devil to know God's church is not just barely making it. I want the devil to know
God's church is excited. God's church is ignited. God's church is spiritfilled. And you tell hell I ain't coming. I don't care what's going on in hell tonight. I ain't coming. Now you you bear with me cuz I've been in the midst of my disappointments and I've had my discouragements and I've had my disillusionments and I've had my disgustments. But in the midst of all of it, you can tell hell I ain't coming. My brother and my sister, it hadn't got that bad yet. I got to tell somebody, it hadn't got that bad yet. There might have been a little stink inside the ark, but there was a whole lot of storm outside the ark. And I think I put up with occasional stink in the church to stay safe from the storm in the world. You tell hell, "Hi, ain't coming. I've had my ups and I've had my downs. I've had my slips and I've had my stumbles, but you can still tell hell. I ain't coming. Micah said, "Rejoice not against me. Oh, my enemy. For when I fall, I shall arise.
Paul said, "I fought a good fight. I kept the faith." And he said, "Brother, brother I finished my course." I don't think Paul just randomly flung words into that Bible. I believe he carefully chose him. I fought the fight. I kept the faith. But he could not say he kept the course. He said, "I fought the fight. I kept the faith, but I finished." My brothers and my sisters, the important thing is that you finish. Everybody from time to time's going to get a little off course, but that's what camp meeting is all about. To bring us back on course. There was a brand new convert that was excited about her experience with God. She fell prey to a knowledgeable uninspired intellect and she began to witness to him and she was so fired up about her relationship with God. He said, "You mean you believe that Bible from cover to cover to be the inspired infallible word of God?" She said, "Oh yes, I believe every bit of it." He said, "Well, explain to me then how Jonah could spend three days in the belly of a whale and come out alive. Would you explain that to me?" She said, "I can't explain it. There's no way I can answer that." But she said, "I'll tell you what I'll do. When I get to heaven, I'll ask him. And the old cruel coldhearted agnostic said, "What are you going to do if he's not there?" She said, "You ask him, cuz you can tell hell. I ain't coming. You can tell hell I ain't coming. Turn around to somebody and say, "Forget about your right garden, your left garden, your Miss Brick, and let's have church tonight." It's time to celebrate Jesus.
It's time to celebrate salvation.
Our rejoicing and our celebrating is not just whistling in the dark. I want to set the record straight tonight. Some of our guests may act like may think like we're acting happy. You ever heard anybody say, "Oh, those Pentecostals act so happy." Welcome to reality. This is not an act. We don't act happy. We are happy. We don't act like we love each other. We do love each other. This is not an act that's real. And we have some very very sound, sane, settled reasons to rejoice. It just makes sense for us to shout. Mortuary atmosphere in a Pentecostal assembly just doesn't fit. I want to quickly give you three reasons why it makes sense to rejoice. Number one, our past is pardoned. here. A while back, somebody asked me, see, in Raleigh, we've got a a goodsized number of black people in our congregation. And somebody asked me, said, "What color is your church?" I like that question. What color is your church? Is it white? I said, "No." They said, "Is it black?" I said, "No." They said, "Well, what color is your church?" I said, "It's red." Because everybody there has been put under the blood of Jesus Christ. And when you get in Christ, there's neither Jew nor Greek, bond, nor free. We're all one. When you get under the crimson strain, somebody needs to thank God your past is pardoned. When sin and sadness whisper, "No use to pray." I look away to Jesus and I hear him to say, "I see a crimson stream of blood. My past is pardoned. Everybody stand up just a minute. Turn around to two or three folks and say, "You better thank God my past is pardoned." Or you might not want to leave that person laying there on that pew cuz you're worshiping beside some ex thieves. You're worshiping beside some ex drug addicts. You're worshiping right beside brother Fred Hyde. Alcoholics are here tonight delivered by the power of God. I say we ought to shout because our past is pardoned. And I know what some folks say. I don't even know this young man. Remain standing. We'll call this intermission. I don't even know this young man running and dancing. But I know I've been some places where somebody starts doing that. There's always two or three spiritual traffic inspectors anointed and appointed by the flesh to give citations to those who exercise their liberties without per proper papers. And when they start running or dancing, somebody says, "I don't know what he's shouting about. You should have known what he did two weeks ago. You ought to know what he did last week. But what those spiritual traffic cops don't know is they may know what they did last week or two weeks ago, but they don't know what the blood did last night.
If your past is pardoned, you ought to celebrate.
My past is pardon me. My present is powerful. My present is powerful. Greater is he that is in me. I had a little sister. You ain't standing just a minute. I'll let you sit down. had a little sister come to me here a while back in our church after after a Sunday night service or maybe Wednesday night service. Don't remember exactly what it was. She came up to me. She said at church, she said, "Pastor," she was moving. She said, "Pastor," she said, "I need to testify to you." I said, "Say on." Anybody got something good to say about Jesus? Just say on. She said, this is a little old sister. She said, "He heals me. I'm not exaggerating. He heals me when I'm sick." And I said, "Yes." She said, "When I don't know where my monies are coming from, he provides." She said, "I'm an old lady now, but he's never left me or forsake me." And then she said, "Ain't God somebody?" I come to Louisiana to tell you my Gods are somebody. Ain't God. I said, "Ain't God somebody?" Turn around, shake somebody's hand, and say, "My God, somebody. My past is pardoned. My present is powerful, and my future is promised." You think I ain't got a right to shout, "The world don't know what's going to happen tomorrow." I do. The sinner doesn't know what's going to happen tomorrow. I do. They don't know what tragedy might befall them tomorrow. But my Bible said, "There's nothing going to take me but such as common to man. And when it comes, my God's going to make a way out. The devil's never going to hem me in. The devil's never going to quarter me in. My God's going to make a way out. So do not be afraid to tell hell, I ain't coming. Because there's more forgiveness than failure. There's more grace than sin. For where sin doth abound, there's more grace than America needs. And there's more God than there is devil. You may be seated.
Now, this is a trout. I forewarn you. I don't want to embarrass anyone. But even with my kindness of mercy, some of you are about to embarrass yourselves. As kind as I am being to you, some of you are still going to embarrass yourself. So follow me closely and careful carefully knowing you have been warned this is a trap. When I pronounce a word, I'm calling on this highly intellectual congregation to respond with the equivalent opposite.
This is a trap. This is a trap. But I'll warn you when we get near the cheese. So you can draw your head back a little bit. Ready? Darkness. Wrong. Right. Down. Up. Out. In. Bad. Good. You smell the cheese. You're almost to the trap. Ready, devil? You still embarrassed yourself. I told you it was a trap. I warned you you were near the cheese. I asked you for the opposite equivalent. And when I said devil, you said God. And there ain't a person here tonight that believes the devil's is equal to God. But you've been programmed and you've been mentally brainwashed to in principle believe that the devil is the opposite equivalent to God. My brothers and my sisters, my God is omnipresent. My God is omnisient. My God is omnipotent. The devil is only a fallen angel. And Jesus Christ said he keep he cast devils out. He cast devils out by the finger. God can take care of the devil with a finger. You know what I believe that simply means, brother Kinsey? I don't believe that means he has he he grabs him by the neck with one finger. I believe all that God's got to do to the devil is say, "Junior, you over there with a bad breath over here. That's all it takes is a word from my God. He don't have to roll up his sleeves. He don't have to break out a sweat. And he don't need angels to rub him down with a sore bean junior when he gets through. My God can take care of the devil without any sweat. And you can tell hell. And you can tell hell. Some of you have staggered in here. You've swoomed in here. You've been in the bit, bitter battle of the adversary. He's been breathing down your neck. Your faith has been down to the ground. But before camp meeting's over, you're going to lift your head, shake your fist in the air, and say, "Tell hell. Hey, come in. I want to quickly tell you why you can tell hell you ain't coming. Heard a story about a guy had a cow. One morning he took the cow to an auction and sold it. All of his neighbors were inquiring as to why he sold the cow. They said, "Wasn't she a good cow?" Oh, yeah. Good cow. Didn't she give good milk? Oh, yeah. She gave good milk. Didn't you like her? Yeah, I liked her. They said, "Why'd you sell her?" He said, "Well, every morning when I'd go to milk her, she'd kick me." And he said, "One morning I woke up and I said, you know what, brother Barnes, life is too short to live with a kicking cow." And he said, "I just exercised my options." If you don't like what's going on in your life, you need to exercise your options. Life is too short to live with a kicking devil. Life is too short to live with strife and pain and heartaches and hangovers and headaches and sorrow and sin. Life's too short. You got an option. I got to tell somebody, there's nobody under the sound of my voice that has to go to hell.
The devil tries to convince people they are doomed. They are destiny. There is no way out. You are bent material. You cannot escape. But I'm going to tell you tonight on the authority of the word of God, there is nobody here that has to go to hell. You don't have to, my brother. You don't have to, my sister. The blood says you don't have to. The word says you don't have to. The Holy Ghost says you don't have to. The name of Jesus says you don't have to. The empty tomb says you don't have to go to hell. I was reading my Bible through and I noticed something that struck me profoundly in the Old Testament. Over and over and over in the Old Testament when there was sin, they brought their sacrifice to the priest. And whether or not God would accept that sacrifice or not rested upon the wisdom, the intellect, and the direction of the priest. Over and over and over in the Old Testament, the Bible said according to the estimate of the priest. When they brought their sacrifice, the priest never examined the sin. The priest never interrogated the sinner. The priest never asked, "What'd you do? How many times you do it? How long you been doing this? Who are you with? Where was it at?" The priest didn't ask those kind of questions. All the priests did was examine the sacrifice. All the priest wanted to know is not what you've done, but do you have a worthy adequate sacrifice? And so in a generation that wants to get into all the nasty nittygritty details of the violence of a perverse generation, I say let's lift our eyes from the sin and let's look at the sacrifice. Is there a worthy sacrifice? Do you have an adequate sacrifice? And I say tonight to you that when our sacrifice said it is finished, my brothers and my sisters, it was My little nephew was 13 years old and diagnosed with a tumor in his heart. Our whole family was greatly moved with compassion. Doctor said the 13-year-old lad would have to have open heart surgery. My wife and I through modern technology viewed the tumor in his heart. We saw it with our eyes. But God healed him and took it all away. But one morning in a morning prayer meeting in the early morning by myself praying. We were all desperate for [name redacted] to be healed. I was in my prayer closet in an early morning prayer meeting as serious and sincere as I could be wanting [name redacted] to be healed. And I said, "God, I'd heard about special sacrifices that people had made and God would honor. And I felt if this
was ever a time for me to put it all in the line with God, it's now for [name redacted] sake. So as I was praying, I began to say, "God, is there anything I can give up, quit doing, lay aside that would enhance [name redacted] opportunity to be healed?" I said, "God, whatever it is, there is nothing so fond to me that for the sake of this lad, I'd give it up. Tell me what it is. I'll lay it down today. whatever there may be in my life that I could put aside to win favor to bring a miracle. If God has ever spoken to me, he spoke to me and he said, "Don't you understand? There is nothing that you can add to what I've already done at Calvary. All you need to do is believe me. I am an adequate sacrifice. I am a sufficient sacrifice. Everybody in the house stand just right now. Turn around to somebody and say, "I don't know what you've done, but there's enough lamb here to forgive you." That's right. one remark between you. Okay, everybody stand please. Because of that adequate sacrifice, you can tell hell I ain't coming. There's enough to get you from here to there.
The last reason you can tell hell I ain't coming. Brother Mangan will help me with Matthew 25:41. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, he'll speak to those who are on the left. Depart from me. Depart from me. You curse it into everlasting fire. You curse it into everlasting fire. Prepared for the devil and his angels. Here's the key word. Here's the key word. Prepared. Hell was prepared for the devil and his angels. When God built hell, he wasn't thinking of you. When God built hell, he didn't have anybody in this tabernacle in mind. If you go to hell, you go as an You're an intruder. You are an intruder. Because when God built hell, he wasn't thinking about you. Everybody say, "Prepared." For the devil and his angels. Now read. Let not your heart be troubled. Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God. You believe in God. Believe also in me. Believe also in me. For in my father's house are many mansions. Father's house are many. Ho ho ho. Sounds like he's thinking about you. In my father's house are many mansions. Cuz everybody thinks about mansions. In my father's house are many mansions. Sounds like he was thinking about you. Go ahead. In my father's house are many mansions. They're there. If it were not so, and if it weren't so, I would have told you. I'd have told you. I go, I go to prepare. Prepare. I play prepare for you. Prepare. Prepare. Prepare. Prepare. Prepare. Hell wasn't prepared for you. But Jesus went to prepare a place for you. And if I go And if I go and prepare a place and prepare a place for you for you, I will come again. I'll come again and receive you unto myself. Tell hell that where I am, I ain't coming. There you may be also.
Tell hell I ain't coming. That's why he had to go and prepare something for me. And my brothers and sisters, it's too late to quit now.
Close your eyes and lift your hands. The Holy Spirit is hovering over this tabernacle. I've got to convince somebody that Jesus does love you. Sometimes even preachers need to be convinced that Jesus loves you. I had a saint just to send me a little card here a while back. The professional writing was very generic and unemotional, but on the bottom of it, Brother Tenny, she wrote a little note and she said, "Pastor, Jesus loves you very much." And when I read that, the tears began to flow down my face. Jesus loves you very much. He loves you so much that he didn't prepare hell for you. He prepared a mansion for you. There may be folks in this vast audience tonight that are backsliden. And sometimes the devil lies to you. Tells you that God doesn't love you anymore. Tells you the church doesn't want you. Tells you that even the preacher doesn't really care whether you come or whether you go. Every bit of that is a lie. Jesus loves you very much. Every head is bowed, every eyes closed. How many folks in this building tonight would be honest with me and the Lord? Somebody's looking right now. Just slip your hand up and say, "Brother Huntley, I I've slipped from the Lord. I'm not where I need to be." Would you lift your hand? God bless you. God bless you. God bless all over this building. God bless you. God bless you. God bless you. God bless you. There are more hands being lifted right now than I can count. Hands that are saying, "I slipped from where I once was with God." Your biggest struggle is to regain that very simple confidence that Jesus does love me. I'm asking the church to pray right now. And I want to give an oldfashioned invitation. And first of all, I'm going to invite those that lifted their hands. Precious people, Jesus did not build hell for you. He doesn't want you to go there. this platform of spiritual men and spiritual men all over this building. They love you and do anything they could to keep you from being lost. Jesus loves you. I teach the church at home and would you be my church for just a moment? Where I stand right now is a pull pit. This is where men pull people from the pit. And that's what I'm going to try to do right now. God bless these that are already beginning to drift to the front is to pull some people from the pit.
Would you join with me, church, and why I pull? Would you push? And if you'll push, and I'm pulling, these altars are going to fill up in just a minute. And you that raised your hands a while ago, would you be the first ones to inaugurate this camp meeting with some hot tears of repentance? These altars are stretching out their arms to receive your repentance right now. And here come people all over this building. A song of invitation for those of you that want to come. Hail. Hell. I ain't coming. They're flowing down the aisles from the left to the right, down the center. Jesus loves you very much, ma'am. He loves you very much. He loves you, young man. He loves you, lady. You may be a backslider, but Jesus loves you. You may be a first time visitor, but Jesus loves you. Pray church. Push. I'm pulling. Come on, backslider. Come on, backslider. Tonight is your night. Hail. Hell, I ain't coming. Hell. Hell, I ain't coming. Keep pushing, church. Keep pushing. Others are coming. Others are coming. Here they come. Sinners are coming. Backsliders are coming. Brand new people are coming. Hail. Hail. I ain't coming. Come on to God tonight. Oh, how come on back glider tonight. Tonight. Oh, Jesus loves you. The church loves you. The pastor loves you. The saints love you. Make your way to God tonight. Make your way to God tonight. Turn around and pray for somebody right where you are. Make up your mind tonight. I'm not going to go to hell. Hell. Hell, I ain't coming. He gave his life. Lord, you love you. Oh, come on, gather in or pray back there. There's people praying in the balcony. That's it. Look at them up there in the balcony. Someone around you with just a word may turn to Jesus. What a message. I don't want to go to hell. Let's have an oldfashioned altar service here tonight. You that are burdens for soul. If you got a burden, move in here. These altars are filled. Some of you prayer chaplain out there, look around. There's others out there that are touched by the Holy Spirit. This is what this camp meeting is all about. people meeting God and God meeting their needs. This is why we're here. The net's been pulled in. There's a wonderful savior whose blood can wash away your sins. Oh, preachers have the burden for this altar service you would have in your own church on Sunday night. Saints had the burden from this service you'd have in your own church on Sunday night if these were in the altar. Oh, we love you. his life. And in your Jesus puzzle, I love you.
Oh, I love me. We love you.
