The Blessing of a Breakthrough

from the very opening of this meeting to this very moment the Bible said let him that hath an ear hear what the spirit is saying to the church there's been a very discernable definite voice of God in this conference and we are standing in one of those highly unequaled moments of God's Divine attention wishes upon the church I quickly give honor to all who have preceded me in the word the great ministry that will be granted tomorrow tomorrow night and personal friends of course I don't know of an enemy that I have in the United Pentecostal church or outside the United Pentecostal church if I do I need to talk to you CU I don't like enemies I like friends and this movement this body has been nothing short of a miraculous nothing short of a miraculous friend to me and my family and it's done me nothing but good and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to preach it's such a significant highly anointed predetermined date with Divine destiny that hinges upon this place tonight I am a firm believer in the destiny of God that God plans fabricates and produces his will in the Affairs of men and I believe that he is here tonight in a very definite way I give honor to all of those that work so diligently to make this meeting a great success year after year after year as has been said the hospitality is Second To None the passion I'm thrilled to have this opportunity to preach to you this evening as you turning your Bibles please turn to Genesis chapter 38 verse number 26 seven I'd like to take a moment to give honor to my wife who perhaps is viewing this through Modern media church was in Raleigh tonight but by now they're out and she's ready to start church again without her and I would say this without her permission without her consent and without her commitment to the gospel I would not be standing here tonight all my wife would have to do is say I wish you wouldn't be gone so much all should have to do is say I really need you at home and my responsibility as I view it would be that she is priority I'm only here tonight because she loves this gospel she loves the Lord and she believes in Revival and I pray a special blessing upon her in my absence and thank you for that I give honor to to my nephew my niece that are here the land troops right up here near the front like a son to me I dearly love them and I'm thrilled that they are impact conference this year Genesis 38 and we'll read verse 27 how many pastors as you read

the Bible preachers have you come across a subject or a text in the Bible a story and you thought oh God someday I would love to be able to preach from that story well this is one tonight and that is found in the 38th chapter of Genesis verse 27 a story that I've read a lot and finally I got a little insight that I want to share with you I give honor to organizational officials at Grace the platform District officials at Grace the platform and all the Mighty Men of God chapter 38 of Genesis verse 27 and it came to pass in the time of of her travail that behold Twins were in her womb it seems that almost every time in the Bible there were multiple bursts there was problems if you read the scripture almost every lady that ever had a set of twin struggled such as our text tonight verse 28 and it came to pass when she travailed that the one put out his hand I find that kind of interesting he put out his hand and the Midwife took and bound upon his hand a Scarlet thread saying this came out first and it came to pass as he drew back his hand that behold his brother came out and she said how hast thou broken forth this breach be upon thee therefore

his name was called and according to my somewhat brief study and research the name looks like FZ but is actually pronounced Perez and afterward came out his brother that had the scared thread upon his hand and his name was called Zara how hast thou broken forth I want to preach to you tonight on the subject Perez the blessing of a breakthrough the blessing of a breakthrough put your Bible down and

give the Lord a great big praise right now and everybody shouted hallelujah hallelujah I got it thank you and you may be seated I have always felt challenged and inspired by the way the scripture describes the tribe of issachar as a matter of fact I've kind of made it my Perpetual prayer and the pursuit of my Ministry the Bible described the tribe of isachar like this it said they had an understanding of the times and they knew what Israel ought to do I think that should be the prayer of every Apostolic minister to have an understanding of the times and to be able to know what Israel ought to do with an ear to the spirit and a finger on the pulse of the body of Christ as I'm privileged far beyond my deserving to track travel the apostolic movement to see it large to see it small to see it in Victory to see it in struggle as I travel the apostolic movement right now I want to preach to you what the spirit is whispering in my ear and what I feel in the body of Christ right now I am convinced convicted and I'm also committed to this conclusion the apostolic church is

presently experiencing an unprecedented breakthrough I think you I think you ought to give a greater Applause than that we are experiencing a historical event of breakthrough like we have never ever known it's a breakthrough in churches it's a breakthrough in districts it's a breakthrough in entire nations it's a breakthrough in individual Ministries we are experiencing a dynamic spiritual breakthrough I'm talking about a spiritual breakthrough we're having more people receive the Holy Ghost right now than in the entire history of the apostolic church I'll say that again we are seeing more people receive the Holy Ghost than since the day of Pentecost or even including the day of Pentecost we are seeing a breakthrough in Divine Healing last evening how many were back claimed to healing for their bodies 138 people said they were healed by the power of God I wish you'd give a hand clap to the Lord for that 138 people here's what I feel in my spirit and that is a prophetical word that's coming to my mind to my heart to my spirit that I've been preaching the United Pentecostal Church the apostolic movement has always been comfortable gifted and blessed to see people receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost it is no problem for people to receive the Holy Ghost in our church what I'm hearing from the Lord tonight is this we're moving in to a breakthrough where we will see as many people healed as we see filled by the power of the Holy Ghost we will see healings just as often just as numerous and just as wonderful as we see

people feel with the Holy Ghost clap your hands if you can believe that with me tonight we are experiencing a financial breakthrough now you can whine and groan and moan and complain but I'm telling you this church has broken through a financial barrier the reason we're going to have a breakthrough in our finances is because provision is always attached to vision and this church is rising up with an unprecedented vision for a worldwide Revival and God is going to match it with the finances for us to reach our world before the Rapture takes place not only that I am going to prophesy right now that the Riverside right now that the Revival that has been glamorized the Revival that has been glorified the Revival that has been fantasized overseas is now in its embryonic stage of breaking loose in America we will have overseas Revival in the United I wish somebody would believe in the power of a breakthrough we are having a breakthrough in properties which is the stronghold of the adversary nothing makes a devil more mad than for the devil more mad than for an Apostolic Church to get a nice piece of land on the highway nothing breaks his back more he wants us in the back streets he wants us in the back alley but we're having a breakthrough the very best properties the most expensive properties and the greatest buildings in the world because we're having a breakthrough we are having a breakthrough in numerical growth it's amazing who's coming to the apostolic church right now you thought never would receive the Holy Ghost people are being baptized in Jesus name you thought never Jesus name you thought never would be B I'm telling you the reason is it's a breakthrough it's a breakthrough it's a breakthrough we are enjoying a break I wonder if somebody knows I'm preaching the truth have you had a breakthrough if you feel like you're Church Church your ministry is having a breakthrough clap your hands right now and give God some praise for it we're about to become out of control we're going to be too hot for hell too strong for sin the devil can't stop us the world can't handle us we're having a breakthrough nothing can clap your hand said bless the name of the Lord right now if you haven't had it yet turn around and somebody say tonight's my night for a breakthrough this is not just another impact meeting it's a breakthrough it's a breakthrough clap your hands and bless his name the

odity of the birth of Perez speaks to our times the question was this how how hast thou broke forth you're out of order you're out of line you change your position the Breakthrough was given to the undesignated you might say the second rated it was the overlooked who emerged as the first born I want to preach to some young preachers just a moment and then I'll move right on I want to tell you we're in a unprecedented hour when some through tradition have lost their real a appreciation and honor and privilege of

being Apostolic you ought to clap your hands and thank God if you have a history in this church you are blessed some are throwing away their tradition some are losing their inheritance some are not giving much attention to their pedigree or to their profile and they're just throwing it away I say that to say to you that are not pedigree that are not traditional that are not profile that are not historical fear not because you can have a breakthrough and what really belong to somebody else can become yours I was sitting on an airplane just casually reading my Bible and I read Proverbs 17 and2 and I about had to have a lap down the aisle when I read this verse a wi servant shall have rule over a son that causeth shame and shall have part of the inheritance among the Brethren if you will be a servant to your pastor if you will be a servant to the Lord if you'll be a servant to the church one day you're going to be so blessed they're going to think you're a son they're going to think your dad must have been the the superintendent your dad must have been the preser your uncle must have been a board member no no no he said he would give you an inheritance of the Brethren they'll think you're one of them I'm talking about a breakthrough I'm talking about a breakthrough now I want you to notice this unique set of circumstances the Bible said Zara stuck his hand out and while he had his hand stuck out he got the Scarlet ribbon put around him as the prize winner to demarcate that he was the chosen first one for some odd reason he pul pulled his hand back and I preach to you you may be in the privileged pole position but if you pull back if you draw back there's somebody behind you that's ready to press for a breakthrough your daddy don't have to be the superintendent your daddy don't have to be the superintendent your uncle don't have to be the preser but you've got to have a passion for a breakthrough Zarah had his hand stuck out can I preach to you young people young preachers it's going going to take more than a handout to get this I said it ain't going to be given to you on a handout has got to feel like I might not have been chosen in position but excuse me I'm coming out of here I'm coming out of here I'm going to have a breakthrough I'm going to have a breakthrough turn around somebody give them a high five and say it may not allegedly supposed to be mine but I'm going after it there are too many folks wanting the apostolic power on a

handout just got their hand out and not only that they've got the ribbon around their hand indicating it really should be yours you really are given a very special place but a handout and a ribbon does not tag you a guarantee for the power the position The Possession or the placement of the promise of God the thing that's going to give you what you want is nothing short of a breakthrough I got to have a breakthrough oh me he's given the church right now an unprecedented breakthrough clap your hands and child yes you see this

breakthrough would initiate rights Privileges and benefits that were irrevocable because it all belonged to the first born privileges that when never be religious that would never be exhausted a lifetime of benefit that would never expire and would never end I want you to understand this evening that there are events there are acts and there are responses that gender repercussions that are eternally settled just one thing can initiate a breakthrough the point set it's like a tide a great motivational speaker described it as the Big Mo the sports world may allude to it as having the wind at your back an Olympic team of the USA called it a moment in time in point the good old boys would call it the straw that breaks the camel's back but I'd rather describe it to us and for us as the favor of God and if God before us it doesn't matter who or what is against us the favor of God will rise the favor of God will Elevate the fa will Elevate the favor of God will deliver I'm preaching to you about a BL clap your hands if you want this to be a breakthrough conference God said I'm giving you a breakthrough the first man on the moon said he said it like this it's a small step for mankind but a giant step for Humanity so what are the ex what are we experiencing in this breakthrough and what does it mean it means in a breakthrough you get gains that are never lost you you have victories that never ever know defeat you have advances that are never ever reversed on the banks of the Red Sea God told Israel look at the Philistines for ye shall see them no more it's a breakthrough it's no more you pull my trigger today in your message when you talked about the devil was cast out and Jesus said to torment him no more what happened was what had been long time and of

time became no time because the the boy's father said he's been doing this since he was a child that's a long time and and whenever the devil gets ready he just throws him in the fire and in the water he does it all the time he does it off time but Jesus said after today what's been long time and what's been of time will be no time I wonder is there anything in your life that's been long time and of time but you'd like for it tonight to become no time then I'd like for you to notice this let's flip the coin to the what has been no time I'm talking about Revival Miracles blessings the outpouring of the spirit what has been no time or sometime can become all the time I'm saying you can have Revival all the time you can see Miracles all time you can see Miracles all the time you can be blessed all the time you can have a move of God all the time you don't have to satisfy with part-time or sometime it can be all the time I hasten

on because of the prayers of Samuel in 1st Samuel chapter 7 the bible spoke of a breakthrough that defeated the Philistines so greatly they were so defeated by Israel that the Bible said they came no more in the days of Samuel it was over I I'm having a struggle here that something is happening that will cause us to never ever be the same it may be a prayer it may be the purchase of property it may be a new building it may be a fresh dedication but there's a dedication that you're going to make that God's going to say no more this is a breakthrough Abraham was told by God because thou has done this thing in offering your son Isaac God said I swear I will bless you because of this one thing just because you did this I am going to give you a breakthrough somebody might be one Hallelujah from a breakthrough somebody might be one lap around this church from a breakthrough somebody might be one tongue toing dance away from a breakthrough somebody might be one prayer from a holy ghost breakthrough that will never ever find you the same somebody shout no more you may be seated names like Abisha cacha elhanan Jonathan David's nephew I'm not waiting on interpretation I was quoting Bible names abish abish c el Hanan the majority of us don't know what in the world who they are but I want you to know that when David killed Goliath it was more than a giant victory for David David was not David was not the the last one to kill a giant nor was he the first he was the first one to kill a giant but he was not the only one to kill a giant because the Bible says that

abishai killed a giant cachi killed a giant elhanan killed a giant and I really like this Jonathan David's nephew killed a giant what happened was when David killed Goliath it was a breakthrough it was a breakthrough and everybody said I can kill a giant I believe I can kill a giant I think I can kick through when Jack y woke up one Christmas and said we're not going to exchange gifts

we're gonna give our money to Jesus it's his birthday it's his birthday we're going to celebrate it by giving it to him a private one man one family thing years later Christmas for Christ and since that one man decided that he was going to give his money to Christ for Christmas since that time 75 million has been given to build churches in North America it wasn't a pizza dream it wasn't a pride thing ladies and gentlemen it was a breakthrough when Jack yach got a search for truth home Bible study chart and decided he would go to homes to teach Bible studies he had no idea that years later thousands would have his fingerprints on them if you've ever taught a search for Truth Bible study stand up this building right now stand up if you've ever taught a home Bible study stand up right now turn around Touch Somebody and say that's Jack y That's Jack yach that's Jack yach because it's a breakthrough it's a breakthrough we don't understand that God can give us a breakthrough where it will never ever be the same there is a verse that's been burning on my heart for years I share it with you right now and I I pray it every time I preach and every time I come to a meeting and I'm praying that this will be the one this this could be the one the Bible said in Isaiah chapter 9 and verse 8 the Lord sent a word into Jacob and it haveth lighted upon Israel Jacob is a man Israel is a nation a word came to one man and it went to the nation you call that a breakthrough a break through a breakthrough brother Cunningham would you help me preach just a minute you don't even need a mik you got a voice like Billy Cole would you stand up and pray the prayer for people to receive the Holy Ghost would you just say that one man Billy Cole St and from that Thailand Revival one man has reached a nation and a world what I'm preaching is are you next are you next are you next am I next can

I be next could God give me a word that could break through and reach the whole world ever since this meeting began God has been telling us it's going to be a breakthrough it's a breakthrough it's going to be a breakthrough you're going to get stuff that doesn't really belong to you it really had somebody else's name on it but they drew back they drew back and because they relinquished their prize position God said I'll take anybody that will press through a breakthrough if you will press through a breakthrough a word will come to you what about a conference that could come from God that would not end on Thursday night but it would be in every Church represented on Sunday and from there it would spread like a wildfire across North America and there would be signs wonders and miracles churches couldn't even preach for the glory of God altars would be filled up parking lots would be filed Lions would be waiting to be baptized a breakthrough a breakthrough remain standing I'll

quickly move to conclusion stay right where you are stand with me the Bible tells about the woman with the issue of blood she pressed through and it was more than an issue and it was more than a singular Miracle this little woman had no idea what she was doing but she was initiating a breakthrough I don't know if she knew what she was doing or not Malachi said the son of righteousness will arise with healing and it's going to be in his wings you got to understand the wings you got to understand the wings was the hym of the Garment it was called the wings and this little woman evidently knew something about prophecy because she said there's healing in his wings if I can just touch the HM of His Garment I'll be made whole Mark chapter 6 and 56 and withs soever he entered or country they laid the sick in the streets and besought him that they might touch if it were the border of his garment she had a breakthrough and after that everybody was touching the Garment everybody was touching the Garment ever because somebody had a breakthrough when we evangelized it wasn't as comfortable and the accommodations were't quite as nice as they are today so we stayed in a lot of Sunday school rooms we stayed in whatever was made available and so our daughter was just a little girl at that time and and brother G she would wake up in the night screaming and crying terrorized just I think it was uncertainty insecurity just staying no telling where and this went on for quite a while and one night Christy sat up in the bed she woke us up screaming terrorized we were ever more upset when we went in there and something came over me and I said devil you are so sorry to attack a little girl like this I have had all of it that I'm going to stay hand this is where it ends in the name

of Jesus I rebuke that spirit of fear to come off of her and torment her it and it was a break through J Wayne but it's not going to happen with a ribbon on your finger or your hand and stretched out you got a breakthrough and when you break through what you get you break through what you get you will never lose and when you break through it will never end and when you break through it'll be yours all your life and when you break through it'll never go away

I want to close with this remain stany it's something I haven't told very often but I want to tell it tonight to help somebody a number of years ago I went through a trial in my Ministry like I never had before I went through a period of some weeks brother web where I I felt like all I was doing was hollering and the devil said you're just hollering I felt no anointing brother Johnson God's always been good to me it was gone camp meetings were coming I had several camp meetings I told my wife I said I'm just going to call them and tell them I'm just not prepared I I can't preach this can't meeting I preach this can't meeting I felt like I didn't have a sermon I didn't have any anointing there's no use for me to go my wife became startled shocked because she's never heard me talk that way I I I mean we're intimate in conversation she knows everything I know just about but I've never told her those kind of things and so it was Sunday afternoon and our choir was practicing and I was in our office phone rang in the sanctuary by the Usher stand and it was my pastor brother Wayne mlan and he called they ran back there to my office and said brother mlan won't you to call him so it was almost Church time so I called brother mlan and he said how you doing I said oh man great how are you and brother mlan said great huh that's all he said great huh I knew it was over the charade was ended I couldn't fake it anymore and before I could say anything he said you're not feeling your anointing you feel like you're just hollering he began to prophesy to me and pray for me and he said it's coming back it's coming back and then he said some more good things it was time to start church and the platform people were coming in and my wife came in and I was just crying and the men in the church were there with me and I was just crying and I said paty when did you call Brother McLean she said I didn't come on now I'm telling you the truth I didn't call him you didn't call him she said no she said I got on my knees and I said God my husband is in trouble and there's only one man on this Earth that can help him and she said that's brother mlan would you please have brother mlan to call my husband there you go

I thought well it's all over I got it brother sullan I went on preach that night I was just hollering I went on to the camp meeting by faith I was halfway through my sermon just hollering my wife was sitting over there when all of a sudden boom I just kind of buckled and I looked at her and I went it's back it's back it's back when you break through nothing can take it from you when you break through nothing can stop it but it ain't going to happen with your hand out somebody's got to press through and break out God is speaking in this conference that there are things that you've been enduring that after this conference you shall see them no more there are things you have prayed for and pursued but you haven't got a hold of it but after this conference you're going to break through true and it's going to be there you're going to see it you're going to have it you're going to be filled with it it's the blessing of a breakthrough the gentleman is dead and gone I won't call names but I can now tell it when patch and I got ready to go to Raleigh to assume the pastor of a church of five people start the work in Raleigh we were evangelizing schedule was full blessed of God a gentleman who cared about us he said call me if I'm a first name he was one of my elders he said Wayne he knew I was from North Carolina he said if you go back to North Carolina it's a bad mistake and he said you will never be heard of again 36 years ago he said that but when we went to Raleigh it was a breakthrough it was a breakthrough and it has never been the same has never been I wonder how many folks start filing out of those seats tonight make your way to the front and say I want to breakr I want to break through in my church I want to breakthrough in my Ministry I want to breakthrough in my district I want to breakr in my state in my state I want a breakthrough in North America God has promised in this conference to give us a breakthrough the things you left at home when you get back you're going to find it different because God's going to give you a breakthrough it's going to be changed it's never going to be the same because God's going to give you a breakthrough why don't you put your arm around your wife and join together and say when we get home we're going to have a spiritual breakthrough in our church people are going to receive the Holy Ghost like never before miracles signs and wonders are going to be performed they going to take place because we're going to have a breakthrough perz another heart the blessing of a breakthrough another the prises another moment another season for a f break
