When God Speaks

there is nothing better than filling the presence of the Lord there is nothing I would rather be doing than entertaining the presence of the Lord there's a lot of things you can do on a Sunday evening or there's something special when you come into a house of God like this and you lift up your hands and you invite the presence of the Lord where you're at amen it's a special thing to be in the house of the Lord so so thankful to be here tonight in Chattanooga section two you know here's a deal I'll be honest section two is a pretty awesome section it is so I'm from Middle Tennessee and I feel like I can say this but East Tennessee is the best Tennessee because it's the prettiest Tennessee it's all right I like Middle Tennessee a lot I like Nashville but there's something about when you get over to the Eastern Time Zone things just start popping things are pretty here Chattanooga is a very pretty city amen yeah you're blessed amen it's great to be here in section two at Cornerstone Apostolic church thank you Pastor Sloan for opening your doors tonight allowing us to be here appreciate you honor you sir you and sister Sloane great great folks and admire you from a distance uh brother Hold'em and sister Holdem thank you so much for the invitation tonight honor our section two youth directors I've known Brother Sam here just for a little bit but man what a leader what a guy I appreciate his friendship to the Tennessee Youth Department great to meet Brother Dean tonight I appreciate you sir the Prosper here in section two honor you and then last but not least how about the students that led worship tonight let's give them a hand that was phenomenal they just did it I don't know if y'all need worship every week but you could lead worship every week because y'all are awesome and that was fantastic so kudos to you guys for for leading the way here tonight if you have your Bibles you can turn to Genesis the first chapter I do miss my wife she's back home in Murfreesboro I had a jet out a little early today to get here out of service they were they were concluding when I was leaving so her and the kids are there she did ask me if I wanted to bring my my middle one which is Knox and I said I don't I don't quite know how section two would respond to Knox he's kind of my Cannonball you just never know um but anyways I I ca I flew down or drove down here flew maybe is the right word but anyways I'm here solo tonight but I do miss and honor my my wife my best friend so anyways Genesis the first chapter we'll start with the first verse that's an easy one to get to it's the first chapter in the book there in the Bible should not take you very long to get there but once you're there I'm gonna go ahead and actually read another passage of scripture it's Ecclesiastes chapter 8 verse 4. I'm going to just kind of read the first two phrases here it says word the word of a king is there is power there is power and then now in Genesis chapter one we're going to start seeing this power on display because the Bible says in Genesis 1 in the beginning was the word and the word uh in the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth excuse me I'm in John chapter one I need to be careful here in the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth and the Earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep and the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters and God said let there be light and there was light dropping down to verse number nine the Bible says and God said and it finishes with a forward phrase and it was so verse number 11 of the same chapter declares and God said and it ends with a forward phrase and it was so in the 14th verse the writer tells us and God said and it concludes in verse 15 by stating and it was so nine verses later the 24th verse of Genesis chapter one The Bible says and God said are you seeing a pattern yet it concludes by saying and it was so and then verse 29 of Genesis 1 proclaims and God said and it should not be a surprise to us at all that it concludes in verse number 30 by saying and it was so God said it and it was so so tonight I want to talk about that I want to talk about the power when God speaks when God speaks this is what I know in 2023 God is still speaking God is still speaking to his people God is still speaking to our situations that God is still speaking to our dilemmas and I believe that God is still the answer for the world today amen we're going to talk about when God speaks you can be seated thank you so much for standing and worshiping at the beginning of what we would consider to be time matter in Space the Bible it paints a picture of bleakness and it sets a scene of hopelessness for within our world there is nothing but darkness and emptiness and disarray there was confusion there was really nothing going on but as soon as the writer could pin these words to describe our world the scripture proclaims that the spirit of God began to move now I have to just stop right here and just say as an Apostolic I like it when the spirit of God moves I'll say that again I like it when the spirit of God moves I like it when I come into a house of God like this and I can feel a sovereign move of the Holy Ghost I don't have to question if he's here I know he's here because I can feel him moving in the place I like it when I come into a service and I have expectation that he's going to be there and then to realize he is there because where the the spirit of the Lord is the Bible says there is Liberty there is freedom what I've discovered is that when I find the presence of the Lord I also discover Miracles happening in walls coming down and chains breaking I've seen captive set free where the spirit of the Lord is so I like it when I come into the house of God and I can feel his spirit because when I can feel his spirit that tells me that there's a miracle on the way that there's signs and wonders that are about to take place because my God is a miracle worker I'll go a step further he's a way maker and you may not feel it right now and you may not see it right now but all he has to do is move and when he begins to move your Miracle is on its way the Bible says that the spirit of God began to move and I have discovered in my life for for me to experience the presence of God it's actually pretty simplistic you know I think sometimes we over complicate Jesus we over complicate serving the lord can I give you a very simplistic way to be able to consistently encounter the presence of God here it is it's called worship when you worship you are inviting the presence of God wherever you're at let me just also step take a step further and say you can worship wherever you're at you can worship at work you can worship at school you can worship in homeroom you can worship at the house you can worship that church no matter where you're at you can worship God and there's a promise in Psalm 22 the Bible says that he inhabits the Praises of his people so it's a guarantee that if you begin to worship him and you begin to lift up his name and you begin to honor him and give him glory that's deserving to him when you do those things the Bible says he inhabits that or he goes and dwells wherever that praise is so all you have to do in order to get a sovereign move of the Holy Ghost is begin to worship Him and begin to praise him and begin to lift up his name that's why when I come to the house of God I don't play church I don't play patty cake I don't just go through the motions but I give God sincerely my best praise each and every time when I come in the house of God I want to know that he's here I want to fill his presence I want to invite miracles in the room I believe that we ought to ensure that the spirit of the Lord is wherever we're at by lifting up and praising his name but the Bible goes on to say not only does his Spirit move in Genesis chapter one but that God begins to speak that God begins to speak you know God's not a man that he should lie when God speaks he he does exactly what he says he's going to do it it doesn't matter what you're going through if he speaks to your situation your situation can change and so tonight while I'm here in Chattanooga and there's many people in the room tonight and I know that there's a lot of things that that a lot of people are going through I want to say very strongly tonight while I'm concerned with where you're at I'm more concerned with where the word is coming from because if the word is coming from the very heart and mind of God it does not matter what you're facing tonight there is no mountain big enough that can overcome the word of God he can move mountains tonight by just speaking a word over your Mountain he brings chaos to our circumstances he brings Darkness to our dilemmas he brings hopelessness to our situation and he does it just by speaking if you don't remember anything tonight about the sermon remember this when God speaks he completes I said when he he speaks he completes again the Bible says he's not a man that he's not he can't help himself when God speaks it just it happens the way he says it's going to happen and we see that at the very beginning of scripture here in Genesis chapter number one tonight in this place no matter what you're dealing with no matter what you're going through no matter what's been taken place maybe at school or at work tonight Jesus can speak a word and it can dramatically change the situation in your favor I I want to remind somebody tonight that that God is on your side he he wants to speak words on your behalf I I sincerely believe this Brother Sam I believe that God wants to speak into our situations I believe that God wants to to make a difference in our lives I believe that he wants to release from the Heavenly I believe he wants to open up the heavens and drop words on us that will change our situations forever some of you you've come in and you're not sure what's going to take place in your families tomorrow or your house tomorrow but I want you to know that God can speak a word today that can change your home forever there's power when God speaks there's power when God speaks and and he is still speaking to his people he speaks to pastors he speaks to ministers but he also speaks to young people he speaks to teenagers he can speak oh I feel this in the Holy Ghost he can speak a p7 club into existence nine maybe maybe it's something that you've been feeling for some time but he can speak it over you and tomorrow you can go into your school with a boldness with an authority saying I'm going to plant that p7 in my school when God speaks he completes we see it in Hebrews 11 the chapter the third verse the Bible says through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by what the word of God so things which are seen were not made of things which do appear the psalmist said in Psalm 33 by the word of the Lord where the heavens made and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth verse number 9 says for he spake and it was done he commanded and it stood fast tonight I want us to have a realization an understanding that there is a power and there is a an authority when God speaks I want somebody to hear this tonight there is no power there is no Authority like your Jesus I've already said it but I'll say it again nobody can do for you like Jesus can do for you I remember whenever I was a sinner and I was lost in this world nothing could give me hope the way that Jesus brought hope into my life nothing could give me peace the way that Jesus brought me there was nothing that could give me joy like Jesus has brought joy into my life I want to remind somebody nobody can do for you like Jesus because he has all power and he has all authority my Bible says that Jesus has all control or all authority in heaven and he also is still in control here in Earth I don't care what Hollywood wants to tell you I don't care what DC wants to tell you Jesus is still in control of what happens on Earth but my Bible also says that he has keys to hell in the grave this is what I love about Jesus is that no matter where you're at no matter where you find yourself if you're on a Mountaintop or you're in a valley whether you be in the heavenlies or you feel like you're going through hell no matter where you're at I want you to know tonight he is in control and he has all authority no matter where you're at and he can speak a word tonight that can dramatically change your situation forever because when God speaks he completes there's nobody like Jesus he is Unstoppable he is unshakable he is Invincible I'll just say it like this because some of the the young people you're going to identify this Jesus Christ is the goat he's the goat you know some people want to say Michael Jordan LeBron James I want to tell you there's nobody like Jesus he is the greatest for some of y'all that don't know goat means greatest of all times I'm not slander in the name of Jesus tonight I'm saying he is the greatest he is the most powerful he is the Almighty he is the greatest of all time Jesus has all authority Wesley Stevens that's me I don't have all authority I realize this all the time because I've got kids and I tell my kids what to do and they don't like to listen sometimes as a dad I feel like what I do most often is just repeat myself clean your room clean your you know there is like some sincere gnashing of teeth that takes place at my house the Stephen's home when I tell my kids it's time to clean the room like I don't know what it is it takes him 10 minutes to clean we're not you know expecting like you know scrubbing and stuff like we're just talking like picking up a toy or two but but I learned very quickly I don't have much Authority I repeat myself a lot it was a few few weeks ago brother Sloan I I started this little Adventure called being a t-ball assistant coach and we went to practice and my boy he plays t-ball and um anyways my middle boy Knox and so he plays t-ball and and the coach was like outnumbered he was outnumbered like a hundred to one it felt like you know it was really just like 13 kids but it felt like a hundred when you're working with four and five roads it's like hurting a bunch of cats out there that's what it's a lot I got a witness there some people in kids ministry in the room right now or some parents in the room so so I'm I'm at practice I'm seeing the coach at the end of practice he's like hey if anybody wants to help that would be great and so I didn't commit I saw what practice looked like but I went home and I felt guilty I was like man I got I've got I've got the time I can do this so I sent the coach a text I was like hey I can help you out I can help you out so all right so I'm an assistant coach now and that's my my grandest title in life is assistant t-ball I'm not the head coach I wasn't good enough to be the head coach I'm the assistant coach so it was our first game and there's a boy that's on our team his name is Judah Judah has a hat judah's hat does not fit his head Judah I think shopped at the adult store for his hat because he comes in he can't see anything that has just come he like picks it up and just drops picks it up drops I'm like bro why don't you put it on backwards so you can at least see what's going on in front of you so don't you know our first game it's our last inning everything's been going smooth everybody's listening from kind of you know whatever but he's playing Third Base my voice playing Third Base the bases are loaded and it's the last batter and in t-ball when it comes to last batter I guess this is the rule I'm kind of new to it but they always say last batter they shout it out last batter and that means that this guy's not going to stop running he's going to run all the bases like you can tag them a bajillion times he's still going to keep running you know so that's what's going to happen so he hits the ball because they want everybody to score I don't know that's just what it is so he hits the ball and he hits it straight to my boy Judah Judah picks it up I'm in I'm in the the infield coaching I'm like literally right what's your name all right so I'm right here between my boy and I'm like hey dude you're Judah right now just bring your Judo okay what's up Judah no I mean so Judy's right here Judy gets I'm like right behind him I'm like Judah tagged a guy tag the guy you know what Judah does he does everything Butt Tag the guy he gets the ball he runs around the pitcher's mound he says hi to his parents he can't see because his hat keeps falling down I'm like Judah just tag somebody tag come tag me come tag me like do something that's right so he like one guy runs by him another guy runs bomb another it's the last person the one that hit the ball and he's rounding third base Judah really hasn't moved much besides running around the pitchers around a couple times he's right there I'm like dude attack him tag him tag him tag him you know what Judah does he watches them the whole way until he gets home I'm like Judah come on bro you had one job you had one responsibility the ball was like you filled it it just you just need to attack one of four people and you didn't tag any of them I'm sitting there thinking I've got no Authority I've got no power these these people don't listen to me they they don't respond to what I'm saying but you know Jesus isn't that way Jesus does not say things and then have to repeat himself in Genesis 1 when the Lord said let there be light he didn't have to beg the light to shine he didn't say come on son just shoot me a couple Rays or or Stars if you could just twinkle a little bit or Moon if you could just glow a little if I could just get a little bit of light that would be awesome no that's not what happened when Jesus when the Lord said let there be light instantaneously there was light there was like right when he said it but then in the New Testament God robed himself in flesh and he came to this earth and as Jesus Christ he walked on this Earth and he said to the winds and waves peace be still and guess what they obeyed him they listened to him furthermore Jesus said destroy this Temple and in three days I'll raise up and he did it exactly this way he said he was going to do it why because when Jesus speaks he completes it just the way he said it's going to happen tonight he has all authority he has all power if it if if in 2000 years ago he said destroy this Temple and raise it up and he did it he can do it today whatever he wants to do whatever he says he completes and I want you to know this your adversary knows this about him your adversary from day one the devil has to notice that when Jesus speaks he completes in James chapter 2 I I like James I'll be honest I like the Book of James one my first name is actually James so I identify with him a little bit but James is like ruthless sometimes he's a little even sarcastic I would say and so in James chapter 2 verse 19 he says Thou believes that there is one God thou doest well that's like that's sarcasm right there like he's like patting you in the back like good job like that's all you can do like good job bro like that's awesome he said the Devils they even believe and they tremble do you know that the devil believes in the authority and the power of your savior of your God the devil knows that when God speaks he does it exactly the way he says he's going to do it my question tonight is this is do you believe the Angels believe the demons believe but does Humanity believe to the teenagers in section two do you believe that God has Authority and he has all Dominion do you believe that he has all power do you believe the whatever he's speaking to you he can do it see I was about 12 13 years old like maybe some of you in the room when God called me to preach I remember feeling that call and thinking God it ain't going to work out I don't know if you know me well but I'm a little bit of an introvert I don't like to get in front of people I don't like to talk I don't I don't even know I'm still using the scratch and stiff Bible I don't even know all the books of the Bible and all the characters you know I know Jonah a little bit because I heard about him but that's about it like I can't do it but you know what I've learned is that God can use anybody he desires to use there is not a single person in this room that if God speaks something of your life you can't see it come to reality you will see it come to fruition if you're just obedient to him question tonight is do you believe in your God do you believe in him do you believe in the things that he has spoken over your life you know sometimes we come to church and we beg God for a fresh word God give me a fresh Direction give me a fresh word you know I think sometimes that probably frustrates God because you know what God's probably saying why don't you just remember the things I've already told you to do I've already said it once that's all I needed to do why don't you just do what I've already given you to do the psalmist said in Psalm chapter 62 verse 11 he said God hath spoken once but twice have I heard this it's like the psalmist is realizing all God has to do is say it one time maybe I just need to hear it again maybe I just need to hear that promise again maybe I need to hear about calling again maybe I got something at hyc and for whatever reason I've let it go but I maybe I need to hear that word again maybe this morning your pastor preached a message and you're struggling with that word that word was from the word of God and if it was from the word of God then there's power and I thought you don't have to question it you can believe it with all of your heart and with all of your mind what God has said once maybe we just need to hear it again maybe tonight we need to hear again what God has said over our family maybe we need to hear again what God has spoken over our health maybe we need to hear again what God has said over our schools maybe we need to hear again what God has said over our friends maybe we need to hear again what God has said over our church maybe we need to hear again what God has said over our youth group maybe we need to hear again what thus saith the word of God tonight I want you to know God has spoken promises over each and every one of you it wasn't my word that I gave to you it wasn't your pastor's hopes and dreams that he no it was promises from the word of God that have been planted over your life have been spoken over your life you may be thinking yourself well I've I've never heard God speak to me before you know I think this tricks people up sometimes they think for God to speak it has to be an audible voice ah I want you to I've I'm 35 years old I've never heard God speak audibly to me before I've never heard that thunderous voice before but I want you to know God has spoken to me I am positive of the fact that God has spoken I know for sure that God has spoken over my life you know how I know this it's right here oh it's right here there are promises from Genesis to Revelation there are words that are spoken over my life and it's right here and it's for me and better yet it's it's for you tonight every promise that you don't have to be a preacher or you don't have to even be growing up in an Apostolic family what what is written and does sayeth the word of God it is for you it is for every promise is for you in the book there this says that there is healing over your body that through his stripes we shall be healed I want somebody to hear this night there is joy for your depression and it's right here there's promises about that there's peace for anxiety in the word of God and those promises are for you they're for you say for me they're they're for you I think sometimes we have an easy time believing that Promises of God are for other people but for whatever reason we're disqualified from receiving Miracle signs and wonders in our life I rebuke that in Jesus name every listen God loves each and every one of us equally it does not matter who you are it does not matter what your last name is it doesn't matter what you even did yesterday there are promises in the word of God and therefore each and every one of you doesn't matter how old you are tonight there are promises in the word of God for you Jesus displayed multiple times that he believed in the power of the written word of God in Matthew the fourth chapter Jesus is Tempted By by Satan and you know how he goes on offense he doesn't you know he could probably just zap them or something I don't know have been pretty cool you know just shoot lightning down and there he goes like a like a fly I just you know just a fly swatter there he goes oh that'd be kind of cool we know what Jesus did he wanted to be an example to us and so you know he did how he combated the devil he said three separate times it is written it is written Jesus went on the offense by using the word of God I need somebody to hear this night this is not just a defensive mechanism but this is something that you can go on offense with this is something that you can storm the gates of hell and say you you need to give me back my family because there's promises that as for me in my house we will serve the there's promises right here in the word of God in its form for me it's for me when God speaks he completes but he's given us this little thing called free will and we get to choose if we believe in the things that he has said when God speaks to us I would encourage you tonight if maybe this sounds strange but what I would encourage you to do if God begins to speak to you and give you promises I want you to find a humble way to speak those things out loud I think it's important for us to agree with what God is speaking of Our Lives if you're a young person in this room and you're feeling a call to the missions field speak it out loud say God you talk to your pastor your youth pastor say God's putting something in my heart I believe he's calling me to something then that's greater than what I'm doing right now don't be ashamed of it say with a humble Spirit sure but speak it out loud the Bible says let the redeemed of the Lord say so we need to speak out loud what God has promised us hear this tonight if God has promised you Revival in your church you need to be proud about you need to be shouting those things you need to be saying and proclaiming it the spirit of God is about to follow my city and in my community and in my school like kids never don't be ashamed of what God has said let the redeemed of the Lord say so let the redeemed of the Lord say so speak it out loud Proverbs chapter 18 verse 21 says death and life are in the power of the tongue you're calling your purpose your ministry the the power exists in your tongue the question tonight is are you speaking death or life over your promises I don't think it's a by accident Pastor Sloan that that death has mentioned first because I think human tendency is to go to the negative instead of deposit in fact I read a report recently that said that the that right now 18 year olds and younger are more pessimistic than they've ever been before more than they've ever been before meaning they are more negative and have more negative thoughts than they've ever had before your generation is dealing with pessimism at an all-time high but I need you to hear this tonight I need every young person in this room to hear this tonight just because the world is becoming more pessimistic does not mean that the church should be more pessimistic we ought to be optimistic we got to believe what thus saith the word of God we better cling to it we better hold to it we've had to walk according to it we better believe in every promise that God has ever spoken over our lives right now is not a time to be negative right now it's not a time to to give up or start waving the White Flag but we need to charge and do it exactly what God has asked for us to do when God speaks he completes where the word of a king is There Is Power you know if a king speaks people listen if if a king says go get me this the the people will go and get them that we don't just survey King we serve the King of Kings and the Lord of lords I will say it again Jesus Christ is on the throne and he has all power and all authority and nobody can tell Jesus no because where the word of the king is there's power I'm coming to a close here in just a second but I want to share a story with you it was just a few years ago see here's the deal I like probably some of you maybe most of you in this room I struggle sometimes with the promises that God has spoken over my life I wish I could tell you that every time God speaks to me I just do it I wish I could tell you that every time God's give me a word I've just followed soon I've done it exactly the way he said for me to do it I I wish I could tell you I haven't been like Jonah but there have been times where I've been like Jonah God has given me directive and I've gone a different way but I want to tell you a story about whenever I felt like I actually listened to God here's the deal I was in a country called Luxembourg it's in Europe Europe okay and so that was a weird way of saying Europe but here we go Europe there we go I was in I'd been to Belgium I've been to the Netherlands and Luxembourg was my last place I'd been there for 10 days I flew in on a Saturday I started preaching on Sunday morning that that morning and I I we had lost our luggage and so it was like a bad start to the trip and I I preached Sunday morning I preached that Sunday night I preached Tuesday I preached Wednesday I preached Thursday okay Friday and Saturday we got to chill for a little bit and then Sunday came and that was my last time to preach but here's my problem on Sunday the last Sunday I was out of all my polished messages I had preached all my good stuff and so on Friday and Saturday I wasn't enjoying it all because I had no clue what I was going to preach on Sunday I'm like Lord just drop a word come on give me something here and it was Saturday night before the next Sunday that I was going to preach and God gave me a word to speak he gave me a message to speak and it was it was odd it was the first message that I had ever preached before foreign I'm having a wrestling match with the Lord I'm saying God I don't think you know what you just asked me to do I'm here in Luxembourg I'm supposed to be this the speaker for the traveled from America that has a a fresh word and you want me to dig up that word that I preached my first sermon I was like God I don't know if you remember that but but that service was a major flop like it was bad it wasn't there was you know I think the Lord I preached from the word of God so that had Authority but my presentation of the word was not Bueno it was not good that day it was it was to be honest it was a little bit embarrassing and so I was like God I cannot there's no way I can preach that message tomorrow there's just no way I'll wake up the next morning I'm wrestling with the Lord still give me something new give me something fresh give me something I've never preached before I'm I'm doing the whole like opening the Bible and just like okay there we go Proverbs chapter 28 that no that's not gonna work you know I'm just doing that kind of stuff I'm scrambling saying none of the other preachers in the room ever do that it was just me that did that but I'm scrambling I'm like go I need something Lord I need something fresh tonight today and he said I want you to preach the message I'm not going to tell but that was the message you want me to preach it's like okay I'm like I'm trying to surrender to it we get on a tartar bus we're going to the church we're like five minutes away from the church I'm like one last effort you know here's the deal I don't like arguing with the Lord because the Lord's always right and I'm always wrong kind of like arguing my wife and I'm joking she's not here I can't say that I was like God you've this can't be it he's like what did I tell you to do all right so here's the deal I'm coming I'm getting to it I preach what he wants me to preach I get up to the pulpit I'll never forget I walked up I walked up to the pulpit like this I got behind it I read my opening scripture and as I'm reading it I've I've been wrestling with this I I didn't want to do it but as I'm reading it I look up and basically where Pastor Sloan is standing right now there was a woman that was sitting there and as I'm reading the description I look up and I see that woman God tells me he says Wesley because of your obedience she is going to receive the Holy Ghost today I was like that's a comp promise I like I like to hear that that's a that's a word from the Lord and so I was tired I was exhausted but when God gives you that kind of word you start preaching like you've never preached before I was sweating like I've never sweat I was spitting like I never spent I was just going to town I was preaching my guts out and I I call the altar call and and I was just like leaping for Joy because people were just storming the altar I was like everybody that needs the Holy Ghost like this is gonna be an awesome service everybody's coming to the altar I'm like starting to pray for people as I'm praying for people I look up and that lady was sitting down I was like whoa whoa whoa hold the phone Lord you told me when I read the scripture that because of my obedience she was gonna get the Holy Ghost and now everybody in this church has responded to what I just preached and it was a simplistic message but I appreciate it anyways and now I'm looking back and she's not responding and the Lord told me he said Wes are you more concerned with your pride and your presentation or being obedient to me he said why don't you let me do what I do best because you've done your very best this is what I've learned is that God does not need our perfection he does not need us to be perfect in presentation what the Lord needs I wish a young person would hear this tonight what the Lord needs is he needs our obedience and our willingness if we will just simply do what he has asked us to do he will take care of all the things that we cannot control and so the Lord said are you more concerned with your pride or I said okay Lord I get your point I'm glad I was obedient and as soon as I like just surrendered that and said I'm thankful Jesus that I was obedient and surrendered to you I looked up and that lady had stood to her feet and she had tears streaming down her face I was like walking and praying for people and I was about to storm back there to pray for her when the missionaries wife beat me to her and I'm going to tell you that missionary's wife put her hand on her head and just within a couple minutes she was speaking in a Heavenly language as the Holy Ghost but just fell on her body as the spirit gave writers that Spirit just flowed out of her and I was rejoicing I was so thankful for what God had done after service I was talking to the missionaries I was like tell me about the lady that came in that received the Holy Ghost and they said they said brother Wes here's the deal that was her first time here she identified as an atheist and and because you just preached Ace and they said this a simple message that she could understand she was able to accept what you preached and received the Holy Ghost in other words what I learned on that day was that God did not need my best he just needed my obedience and because I was willing to be obedient and preach what he had put on my heart to preach he was able to use that simplistic word and grab a hold of somebody who did not even believe in God and spoke truth to her and she received the gift of the Holy Ghost what am I saying tonight I'm saying this where the word of a king is there's power there's Authority and all we have to do is we have to walk in his authority and walk in his power and let the redeemed of the Lord say so agree to what he has said over our lives as we stand to our feet tonight I I know that I get excited when I talk about this but when I begin to consider that all God has to do is speak something and then it happens there's a part of me that just becomes overwhelmed with joy because I began to consider all the things he's spoken over my life I begin to consider all the the purposes and the callings that he's placed over me to do I think of all the promises about my family some of which don't even serve the Lord right now I begin to thank them and I call them out by name because God has spoken me promises over their life I get excited to think about whatever he has said to me it will happen because when God speaks he completes tonight young person tonight senior Satan whoever you are I would challenge you tonight to remember every word that God has ever spoken over your life it's not time to throw in the white towel it's not time to give up on what God has spoken over to you it's time to walk in boldness pursuing every promise everything he has ever said over you because it will come to reality if you hold fast to it the Bible says don't grow weary in well-doing tonight you cannot grow weary in your promises just because you haven't seen it yet and just because maybe you don't feel it right now it does not mean that he is not working and he's not speaking and he's not doing tonight I'm challenging section two to believe again and those promises that God has spoken over you time I'm challenged you to to be sensitive to what God is speaking right now and to start walking according to every single promise that he's given you young man he's called you to preach then preach young woman he's called you to plan a p7 club then plant that p7 club do it and whatever you do know that he will back it because he's not a man that he should lie right now I'm gonna ask for every head to be bowed and every eye to be closed I believe the Lord wants to do a work in this place today I believe that there have been promises spoken over individuals and he's ready to urge you to encourage you to start walking in those promises let's pray together right now Jesus I pray over every mind and every heart here tonight God I pray that there would be a holy belief in you God there would be a confidence that would be that would be placed in you tonight God that we would believe all the things that you've said over our lives God no matter what they are and no matter how big those dreams have been that you've given us God I pray that right now every person in this room would recall to mind everything that you've spoken over with them and I pray that they would bring hope out of them God that they would be encouraged tonight by everything that you've given them God because we're the word of the king is there is power there's power right now I want to open up this Altar and I'm going to ask for every single person to come forward I'm asking for every young person for every saint of God to come forward and I want you to lift up your hands and I want you to begin to speak to God and I want you to begin to Proclaim those callings Proclaim those giftings Proclaim those purposes that God has planted in your life maybe tonight you need to start quoting scripture maybe right now you feel sickness in your body but you need to begin to say that he was he was he was his stripes were given because of my healing for my healing he he was wounded for my transgressions he was bruised for my iniquities some of you did not you need to remember he's fighting for you he's going to give you strength tonight some of you need to remember tonight that there's no weapon formed against you that will prosper that you can overcome anything that you're facing come on right now begin to lift up your hands and begin to lift up your voices and let's begin to worship Him and let's begin to praise him and let's begin to believe in a big God for big things together come on lift up your voices come on he's not a man that he should lie what he says he'll do come on what he says he's going to do he's gonna back it
