praise the lord cornerstone it is awesome to get to be here in chattanooga with you guys thank you pastor sloan for allowing us to come and to teach what he didn't tell you is after he called the professionals and they turned him down he called us so this is who you get you get us um but that's cool you can you can be seated we uh we travel as you know all across the country and we see things and we hear things and people ask us all the time what what can you tell us about this or that and we try to take notes and we try to keep up with things you know but um if you yourself do not have a desire to pray for somebody in the altar it's not going to be a it's not going to help you whatever we say whatever we can do is not going to help you if you yourself do not have a burden if you do not have a desire you got to have that inside of you and if you yourself when you come down here and want to pray with somebody if all of a sudden you're struck with fear because you're afraid you're going to intimidate somebody somebody's going to come down here and pray and you're like i don't want to tell them about speaking in tongues i don't have do i have to tell them about speaking in tongues do i have to tell them about the the tears that's going to come out of their eyes and and how they're going to get all shaky and all this because that might scare them away so maybe we should just skip that part and not tell them maybe that fear is causing us to not pray for somebody in the altar and see them filled with the holy ghost as we travel we see a lot filled with the holy ghost and it's not anything that we do it's because god is pouring out his spirit in the last days we are in the last days if you haven't noticed if you haven't looked around we are in the last days and i know i know i know you've heard that your whole life but if the signs of the times haven't aligned any closer than what they have right now ever before i don't think they have we are right there brother we are in the last days and that is when god said in the last day says god i will pour out of my spirit upon all flesh there is going to be an outpouring of the holy ghost there is going to be revival in these last days and his spirit is going to be poured out from the young to the young at heart on whosoever will let him come that's what's going to happen i'm ready for that end time revival i know we're in the last days and when we come to a church and we see kids filled with the holy ghost it's not much of what i do i get up and i entertain with the kids and i minister to the kids but i'll tell you this i have a weapon that i travel with i have a weapon a prayer warrior she is a mighty warrior she is amazing at praying in the altar she will stay in that altar until the very last person is done it don't matter if the food is getting cold it don't matter if the doors are locked if there is a person in that altar sister rimmer is with them she's in that altar with them she's the mother of four children the grandmother of four children the author of marie's journey if you have not read her true story she has books with her tonight those books are ten dollars a piece if you want them we have a limited supply and after that's gone we'll go to the truck and get another limited supply so if you want one those are ten dollars but i'm going to bring her because she is going to talk to you tonight about alter working and if anybody can do it i have faith in this woman because like i said she is a prayer warrior my beautiful wife yvonne rimmer and that's why i married him no joke when we were riding back and forth i told him i said when the beauty train came along i missed it and i was serious and he wrote back but you've got the holy ghost you've got a beauty that even miss america can't behold i thought i'm marrying that young man you know we've been praying for this service and you'll have to forgive brother remember he's still recovering we've had a rough few couple of weeks but you know alter working is instructing assisting or leading an individual to an experience with god notice i said experience you are part of that experience where you should be what you don't understand when you're in the altar with somebody sometimes you're taking them from the brink of hell and it's you that are standing between them and hell we've got to understand we're living in the last days we don't have much time our objective is to be part of that experience but at times we stand back like brother remember said out of fear out of doubt or uncertainty do you know what my fear is that i don't reach them it's not about reaching them it's about don't reach them there is a city here full of people that want what you got but they're not going to hear about it until you get out there like you learned last week and you begin to disciple it's the same way you know i remember teaching our our youngest daughter how to cook she said mom i got this i said okay cook that box of spaghetti she said i got it she said i can read directions mama i was like okay baby you got this when she put it in front of me and i took the first bite i thought i cannot eat this i had to spit it back out and so did she i'm like baby what did you do she said mom i followed the directions i said let's go back and try it again she put the spaghetti in cold water and boiled it all together it tasted so pasty it was not edible ladies and gentlemen there's some instruction and i hope i hope to give you some of that instruction tonight second timothy says 2 and 15 says study to show thyself approved unto god a workman that needeth not be ashamed rightly dividing the word of god maybe you feel that you're not qualified but to work for god social standing doesn't matter financial standing doesn't matter what you post on facebook doesn't matter what matters is this book have you got in this book sister remember you're supposed to be teaching about alter training it starts right here and with a prayer life a lot of us come in here tonight with some baggage we've had a hard day we've had a hard month we've had a hard year i hope you took time in the prayer room because that's where we take that baggage off you're no good in here if you're no good in there that's where it begins people say sister remember how do you do it i do it by every morning getting up getting in the word and praying come on pastors all the time said hey do you guys do breakfast no we do not come on we want to come get you no we got to have time to get in the word and we got to have time for prayer we don't mean to be offensive but that comes that's priority in our lives where is your priority hear me alter training is not always about the individual getting the holy ghost at times things need to happen we as a church not only need to be willing to be the arms we need to be the ears what are you saying sister remember sometimes we just need to listen we never know what god is trying to do we were in the church camp in texas and we were praying with different individuals and there was probably what 400 kids 500 kids and people were praying everywhere and before long i felt a tug and when i turned around it was an adult and they said sister remember we need your help we've been praying over an hour with this individual we need help we need you to come pray and so i guess they assume since i was the evangelist i could pray this trial through the holy ghost so i walked over there and i began to pray nothing came they had been praying for an hour already and they said sister remember what do we do now i said we pray i turned around and i began to pray god i don't know what's going on in this individual's life but i need direction right now and god spoke j j that's all i got from god now i remember jj from the night before because i'd prayed him through to the holy ghost and jj had been following me that whole ulcer service everywhere i went he was right there behind me just listening and he was watching everything i was doing so i turned around real quick and i said jj god just spoke to me you're supposed to say something to this young man jj god's not telling me what you need to tell him but you know what it is already little jj just put his arms around that young man and begin to speak something into his hair i don't know what it was i didn't hear him but i can tell you was in 30 seconds that young man was speaking in tongues and the lord told me to train up a child but you say sister emma i'm adult but we're all at different levels in our walk with god or our walk with the altar call some of us are afraid tonight it's not about what you can do it's about what he can do and if you trust that god can fill somebody with the holy ghost you need to be in that altar with them and the altar is not always at church and i'll get into that a little bit deeper here soon we were in georgia camp and there was a seven-year-old that got the holy ghost and we explained to him when you get the holy ghost you get power but some of us are running on empty and he said sister remember what am i supposed to do i said you take that power and you go pray with somebody else so he went and found the biggest baddest dude he could find he found the security guard now in georgia the security guard are not apostolic they're hired in and he went over there and he said god wants to fill you with the holy ghost come on grabbed him by the hand and let him down to the altar how many of us have that gumption a seven year old can do it he hit his knees by the time they got to the altar just weeping his hands up in the air and he was shaking and that young man would and put his hand on his head and that man began to speak in tongues god filled him with the holy ghost he come up to brother rimmer and i he said my hand has power we had to explain to him it wasn't in his hand it was in the holy ghost that god had given him but he needed to use that ladies and gentlemen you have that power if you have the holy ghost but are you willing to grab them by the hand saying come on when someone is seeking the holy ghost now we're used to dealing with children and we give four steps we tell them to close their eyes because we live in a world of distraction and the enemy wants to distract them now if somebody does not want to close their eyes don't force it because unfortunately some people have been abused in the dark we were praying with the little girl and there was no way she was closing her eyes and we found out later why she still got the holy ghost but how many of you in this room has spoken tongue with your eyes open come on we're not saying they have to do it but the devil's number one tool is distractions so get them to close their eyes number two we ask them to raise their hands brother remember tells them oh you're doing a funnel actually we're getting them step one and surrendering it's a part of surrendering number three raise your face we tell them to look to jesus this actually helps you to hear and see are you hearing what's going on are you seeing we tell them to raise your voice step number four this helps you hear when they speak in that heavenly language now those are just steps the four steps that we use across the board i wanted to get those out tonight there's no set standard but we have to start somewhere but like i said while ago the important factor is following the holy ghost that starts with prayer that's why i said while ago the prayer room is essential we got to get out all of our junk so we can hear what he's about to say it's just important trust me i have doubt as well and every day we should be praying for spiritual revelation direction and guidance if you pray the tabernacle prayer you know what i'm talking about we're talking about the candlestick you need that spiritual revelation direction and guidance we have to get out of the way and humble ourselves and be willing to speak what god gives us just a few months ago i felt to tell the pastor's son you need to be baptized now that was intimidating to me i have grown up with this young man we've been going to that church for almost seven years and i've seen him grow up and i know he was a man of god but here god is telling me i need you to tell him to get baptized oh this is a pastor's son and god you're telling me to tell him what so i told his mom she said sister emma go tell him now so i went over there what i did not know was that he had fallen into drinking with a couple of his buddies he had been in a car accident that almost took his life between our visits i didn't know all that by the time i got there he had come back to god worshiping doing everything he'd already done but i hadn't seen the in between we don't know what's coming up here i don't care if it's the pastor's child or if it's a sinner walking in off the street we don't know we just have to learn to allow the holy ghost to lead and guide us we've got to stay in tune to the spirit to know when i told him that he began to weep he said sister rimmer you don't understand i haven't slept in months there are spirits that are tormenting me he went down under the blood the next day he come to me and he said i slept like a baby why are we so afraid to step out and speak what god gives us the enemy is not going to tell you to tell them jesus loves them start there god will give you more as apostolic people we have to step up but we have to understand we're not mind readers we were in a tennessee church just a couple years ago the pastor and his wife come up and said can you please deal with this situation this young man in our church the young man was five years old and they said the last couple months he's become demonic and we need help we said we'll pray about it and we'll see what god's gonna do so first church service sure enough he comes to sunflower i said hey buddy how you doing he said i'm not doing good i said you're not i said you want the holy ghost he said i don't want your holy ghost i said then what do you want we cannot give up on these individuals sometimes they're not there yet so you have to find out where they're at so talk to them he said sunflower i just want a hug now i could have just gave him the hug and been done with it but no the holy ghost checked me yet again said why does he want to hug so i said buddy i love giving hugs but why do you want a hug he said because two months ago the police kicked in my door and they took my mama away and i've not had a hug since did he get the holy ghost no but did he get a hug he got several fast forward one year he was the first one in the altar and god filled him with the holy ghost but while he was speaking in tongues somebody come through the back door and hit their knees it was his mother and god filled her with the holy ghost because we listened to the holy ghost god gave us a two for one deal because we didn't get in a hurry and we didn't say but lord no you've got to follow god's plan not your plan it's okay to have the conversation with the person you're praying for ask them their name what they're praying for and have they received the holy ghost we have kids all time yep i got the holy ghost have you spoken tongues no they don't know what the holy ghost was a couple of weeks ago i had a helper say help me i don't know what to do in this situation so i walked over there i'm like what's going on the little girl looked at me and said who's jesus my lord yes there's people out there that don't even know who jesus is so you start from the beginning and you do a bible study don't assume the individual has repented were at a church in pennsylvania 96 years old she prayed to the holy ghost the pastor said i've been trying for six years what did they teach that i haven't taught she said how to repent he said i teach on repentance she said not like them peanut butter and jelly don't make it too difficult you got to understand the people coming through those doors are not maybe where you are spiritually so sometimes we have to take it down to their level 96 years old she finally got the holy ghost and then you ask them are they ready for the holy ghost sometimes they'll say uh-uh and you can't force it but i i tell them i said the bible says out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks i said are you ready to let jesus in because when you let jesus in those silly words are going to speak out of your heart we call it silly words unknown tongues and then when they repent i'm like oh no do you feel that your heart's empty now you don't want to leave here with an empty heart tonight now you've got all that room for jesus how about we let him in this is talking it down to a child of course we've played prayed plenty of adults through same same way you just got to talk to him the number one thing that i regret the worst sister can you come here yes i promise i'm not going to embarrass you i just want you to raise your hands for a second yes yes this is what i see when they're praying somebody through the holy ghost thank you that's all they're doing that is not the way to play somebody through your job this it isn't about you it's about this individual i tell them there's only two people in this room right now that's important it's you and jesus forget about me i'm just here to be your cheerleader you've got to talk with them you've got to lead them sometimes lead them in to a prayer of repentance sometimes they don't know what repent means we use these big words in pentecost because we've been there but a person coming off the streets may not know what repenting means and we have to watch the individual as we begin to pray for them like i said while ago if their eyes are open try to get them to close them if they want that's okay if there so many times people think their arms has got to be up for the kid to be speaking in tongues with the adult sometimes they've prayed and they've wearied themselves let those arms go down if their feet are hurting them i've sat children down before they've prayed for over an hour and they're still standing there and you see them you see their feet moving what i'm saying is follow after the the holy ghost if you see somebody chewing gum how do you think they're going to speak in tongues there is nothing wrong with asking them to spit it out tell them you'll get them a fresh piece later or or a piece of candy is what i usually tell the kids never assume anybody has the holy ghost we were praying with one young man and buddy he was going everybody was shouting and worshiping around him thought for sure he had the holy ghost and i've been down to listen and all i heard was i gotta go pee i gotta go pee i gotta go pee he was doing all the movements so sister remember what do you do that's a distraction let the poor little guy go he's not gonna get it as long as that's where his mind at so what is on their mind i'm telling you that to say talk to them sometimes they would rather you pray for their granny they're not up there for the holy ghost but you're building that relationship we talked to one director one time who said he had this little boy that tried him every sunday anybody ever been there that child tries you every sunday so one sunday he got so mad he said get out of here send him to big church well the next week here comes the kids marching in and this kid walked by him with a mohawk and he's like hey buddy i like your mohawk he said well i like you and so they started talking he said you know what i need some help in children's church today why don't you help me so he said okay so he helped him well after church on the way home his wife is just laughing he said honey you have been snickering all in church what is so funny she said that's the same boy you kicked out a church last week what was the difference it may be a funny story but there's a difference here he built a relationship over a mohawk okay let's let's be honest here we're in church how many of you would have judged that little boy coming through the door what mother in their right mind would let a kid get a mohawk come on you've thought it out in the world at walmart you've thought those very same things instead of judging use it to your advantage see how when you form a relationship you never know where that relationship is going to get you you know brother i i generally drive most of the way it's either that or he holds the barf bucket so generally i drive that's just how it is and so one night i was just so tired and i'm like baby you got drive i can't drive no more so he's driving and i'm about to fall asleep and i feel the truck stop and i'm like what are you doing he said we're out of gas and i opened my eyes and i'm like baby here now brother pastor i have programmed him this is where we stop this is where we do not stop come on sometimes you don't stop at these places number one they're scary number two they're dirty let's just try to find a decent gas station but this was not a decent gas station by any means he's like baby we're out of gas i have no choice we have to stop here okay i had an attitude i got out and just kind of slammed the door and just like okay i got to go to the bathroom anyway well i walk in there and there's a big sign i mean big old side ladies restroom closed i'm like he did not hear the holy ghost in this ham he did not here we are stuck out in the middle of nowhere and there's no restroom and you know when you realize you gotta go then it gets worse so i turned to the cashier and i said so what are the ladies supposed to do she said oh go around the corner she said we've shut down one of the men's bathroom so you ladies can use it well when i go around the corner there's a lot of ladies i'm like i know he didn't hear the holy ghost brother there ain't no way he heard the holy ghost so we're standing there in line and one by one the ladies are going in coming out and i notice nobody's coming behind me and one by one we're going in until there's two of us left and the lady turns around and she said you're apostolic aren't you it was the ups lady and she began to weep she said god sent you here i thought actually it was my husband making a mistake but hang on god maybe we're going somewhere here god sent us that way god had a stop for that ups lady she said ma'am she said i've just moved here and i'm so lonely she said but god told me you got the answer i said i do i'm going to connect you with the church that's going to love you it's going to care about her and i told her about jesus and i was there to minister it's funny how nobody else came behind us that lady in the bathroom was taking forever but god was working even there in an old gas station how many of us think we've got to work just in the altar so yes i did apologize to brother rimmer when i got back out there and said okay you did hear from god this time it really smote me and it humbled me the altar doesn't start here starts out there and this is going to go right behind what you learned last week about discipline people and i tell you he did not tell me about that i just learned about it tonight but when those people are walking in they're hurting so bad to pray a person through you just got to love them i'm not saying love what they do i'm saying love their soul god put you and don't be afraid sister remember what if it doesn't happen there there'll be another opportunity you keep trying two weeks ago bless the pastor's heart he gave me one of those chronic seekers so sister remember can pray anybody through she had read every book she's listened to every tape there is about the holy ghost and she kept telling me every time i tell her something yeah that's what i read in the book yeah that's what that that tv evangelist told me she had thought she could learn her way to the holy ghost i said we have to get all that out of your head and now you just have to trust the holy ghost i said your problem is you won't lose your tongue that's the hardest thing for us as a people to do is loose our tongue and you gotta pray lord loose that tongue and you tell them it's not about what you can say but about what the lord is about to say she did pray through to the holy ghost but only after about an hour and a half i mean we were in the pews praying and tim and the church had time to take down the whole set put it all in the trailer and then they had to still wait on us about another 30 minutes because it took time so you don't know where god's going to lead you but we have to learn to listen at that very same church just a couple years ago there was a lady who wanted the holy ghost so bad everybody she brought into church got the holy ghost like that she struggled and so pastor said please make sure nadine gets the holy ghost before you leave i said pastor we'll do what we can first service we do the altar call there she goes right out the back door second service do the altar call there was no catching her and i'm not gonna force anything third service and final service i'm like she ain't got a choice now sister sloan there ain't no way she's got to come forth because i know she wants it because i've been talking to her the pastor's been talking to her beautiful right out the back door pastor come up he said i'm sorry and i said we can't force it so at midnight we get this call and it's pastor he said i know you're asleep he said but she wants to talk to you in the morning he said can he said i know you're headed out of town you're headed for a family revival reunion he said do you mind to take time sometimes we have to stop what we think where we're headed and we have to listen to the holy ghost and i said brother we're here he said we'll meet you at the breakfast room at a hotel so sure enough handy dandy was loading the truck and me and this lady and pastor sat down at a table and we began to talk there was a lot of baggage she just needed somebody to listen she was angry she was bitter she said i've repented i said but have you repented of that so little by little we had to take this bag off take this bag off and take this bag off and as we begin to do that you felt the holy ghost begin to move in the room one by one people begin to get up and throw their trash away some of their plates were still full it was the strangest thing people just began to get up and exit out the door we still had one hour before the breakfast area closed the lady come out from the kitchen went over there and grabbed the double doors and shut them she said sister emma i'm so sorry i didn't get the holy ghost this weekend i said what's wrong with now i said god just made a way right here i said you were intimidated to pray around people god just cleared the room and she looked up and she couldn't believe it and tears just began to flow everything within just a few moments you begin to speak in tongues in a hotel are we willing to listen what keeps us from reaching out to ministering to people in the altar i'll be honest 2014 i think it was we've seen 1001 pray through the holy ghost i'm not intimidated to pray anybody through to the holy ghost trust me i stood in a chair one time look at a guy six foot five just come off the roads just come off the road with his partner who he sold out and they just wanted to come in out of the rain so i got up in that seat and i got up in his face i'm standing there in his face praying him through to the holy ghost and then his woman said what are you doing i said the same thing i'm fixing do to you and i prayed her through to the holy ghost so i'm not intimidated but when it comes to my family i'm intimidated my mother has been anti-pentecost all my life every time i'm in this she's she wants to hire somebody to get me out because she is that anti-pentecost well just a few months ago god opened up a door for us to baptize her in jesus name he said mama i feel to baptize you she said what have you been waiting on god smote me two weeks ago i got the phone call they're calling in hospice there's no time left i told tim i said we've got to cancel some services we've got to get over there so we went by and we seen my mom for two weeks and every day we try to bring it up somebody or something would walk in the room and then a week ago sunday it was time to leave and i knew this was my last opportunity probably ever to see my mother and i began to talk to her about the holy ghost and i began to tell her that it's essential it's not a choice it's essential mom we believe you have to have it and i began to give her a 5-10 minute bible study and then we said mom can we pray for you this was my last opportunity and i knew it was and we laid hands on her and we began to pray and when we began to pray she began to speak in tongues it wasn't exuberant it wasn't like what you see in an altar it was just a sweet precious moment of her shaking her lips just quivering and quietly speaking in tongues so we get out the door and we're driving back to our hotel and the devil said did she get it so i started talking to brother rimmer i'm like did you hear her yeah yeah baby i heard her did you hear her well she was kind of soft but yeah i heard her and all night i was tormented did she get it and our trailer was still at her place so the next morning we got up we had to go pick up our trailer so i had to go and my mind wasn't on did she have the holy ghost my mind was on having to say goodbye for the last time so i struggled so i did that part and then i started to walk off and she said oh wait a minute baby she said remember you told me to pray last night and do what i did again to let god do that anytime i pray she said i was praying last night and i was speaking in those words i didn't understand again that was god's confirmation sometimes we need that confirmation because we won't always understand but we can no longer be intimidated because we're running out of time so when you get down here and you get face to face with an individual you get real and you follow after what god's telling you to say don't be intimidated well sister remember what if they don't get the holy ghost they're no worse off than when they begin you just got to work a little harder trust me i was asked just last weekend to pray with two non-verbal autistic girls and this young man just kept going around they're non-verbal they're non-verbal they're non-verbal i'm like satan get behind me one of them began to shake and her little mouth began to move i never heard a word but she experienced something in the holy ghost now that would intimidate some of us right they're non-verbal but we've got to begin to let god do a work we've got to quit being intimidated we were in belfan arkansas last year church service was over and the young man helping us load the trailer stepped off that stair and when he did that ankle turned and that bone broke and that bone protruded and he went down hard and began to scream i mean that fall that foot broke in two pieces you could see that bone protruding so we prayed and the pastor said remember get as much stuff as you can out of the way go to the trailer for now we got an ambulance coming we did what we were told we went to the trailer and then while we're standing in the trailer i looked at handy dandy and i said god just told me to go back in there he said baby but the pastor said i said but god said we got to go back in there he's not done no i'm not telling you to speak against your pastor but i'm telling you what i felt in the holy ghost so we walked back in there and i said pastor we got to pray again he said sister remember we already prayed i said we got to pray again i said that foot is not broke broken that young man said look at me look at that foot i said that is the problem with us today that's the problem with the church today we're looking at the problem and we're not looking to god we got to quit looking at the individual in front of us and we got to trust that god can fill him with the holy ghost we laid hands on that young man and we begin to pray again and that bone goes right there in front of us god pulled that back they stood that young man up and he began to walk on that foot now the ambulance come in and thought we was all crazy because they were expecting to come into a broken foot and his parents said sister emma do you mind if we take him to the hospital i said you go confirm what god's done i'm not intimidated it's seeing stuff like that that builds faith last year while praying a young man through the holy ghost in georgia while we were praying for him when he got done he said i gotta go call my mama you know kids always love to go call their mama mama didn't answer the next morning rumors get up get up get up we're like what is going on they said we need you in the office now so we got dressed and ran to the office as quick as we could while we were praying that young man through the holy ghost daddy shot mama and we know that because when he called mom was dead is what they told us within just a few moments cops went in daddy opened fired and they shot daddy the state trooper come in to take the young man and he said do you have any questions and he said where am i going to go to church the state trooper said i don't know what this boy has experienced at this camp but i've never got that response before he said this is a strong young man i said god's prepared him ladies and gentlemen it's not just for numbers it's for souls if you can't find purpose in this if you can i can teach you steps all day long but until you get a purpose in your heart until you find a passion to minister to that lady who just cut you off in traffic we're not going to go nowhere we've got to see these souls coming in oh that's my worst enemy i remember brandy our oldest daughter she was tormented every day this girl made fun of her every day at school for who she was we had a kids revival guess who showed up that young lady but he said what do i do mama i said you go prayer through the holy ghost that's the best way to change her they carried her out speaking in tongues that was her worst enemy and when somebody is praying we tell people don't you tell them they got the holy ghost generally you don't you ask them about their experience and you let them tell you but sometimes they don't know what the holy ghost is so you do have to explain it sometimes but you have to come up here with a willingness you have to be ready to do a work and like i said it starts in that prayer room every day i pray god give me direction and god it's in revelation lord if i come across somebody tell me why everything you're going through all the hell your face has purpose when brother remember and i first got married buddy we were fighting financially we had his dad on the salvage yard and so when we moved to tennessee we had an old van with four hor horrible tires and one after one they popped and so one morning he asked me he said baby can you please go get me a spare i popped another tire i'm like okay on my day off that's just what i love to do sure i'll do that for you baby so i get in the car and i go to the first place they literally laughed at me they said that van is so old we don't carry those tires anymore i'm like okay thank you went to the next car place and said do you have this tire no we do not that's too old of a tire they don't make them anymore i said okay thank you after the fourth time of being told that man i was so full of faith i went out to the car laid my hand on the or my head on the wheel and i began to cry like a baby i'm like god you got to help me why do we wait until we're in a mess to pray why didn't i pray at the beginning god lead me no i did not now i'm praying god lead me and he told me about a shop across murfreesboro now you know how big murphy's burrow is that's going to take me 30 minutes to get to that shop on these four bad tires one's a spare i'm like okay god i heard you i'm going so i walk in there nobody's in there and i went in there with big faith oh you probably don't have this tire but this is the size i need he said how many do you want i said well one today but i'll be back next week he said okay ma'am you look like you've had a hard day going there and rest give me the keys we'll take care of you so i went into the waiting room no longer sat down and here that young man comes i'm like what's wrong you don't have the tires do you he said no ma'am no ma'am i've got the tires but i want to talk to you he said what you don't understand is my daughter and i were praying last night and she said daddy it's time we get back to church he said but baby you know we can't just go to any church we need god to lead us she said well let's just pray he sends you an angel tomorrow he said man when you walked in god said there's your angel see everything i had faced was trying to line me up to hear god to be where i needed to be to talk to this young man you're not going through things for for naught god's trying to turn everything for his good if we would just listen yes him and his daughter showed up the next morning we were able to baptize her in jesus name even though her mama said that will never happen come december she said baby what do you want for christmas she said mom i don't want anything but to be baptized that's how hungry this little girl and this that man's name is john key i will never forget it again from the altar to the altar is it going to be in a gas station is it going to be in a tire shop altar service doesn't just begin here ladies and gentlemen please let never let anybody come to this place alone i don't care if it's your sister in christ that you two just had a doubt before church never let somebody come down here alone you don't know what they're facing you may think you know pastor i hope this is okay but i prayed and i gave you the four steps but alter services a lot more than what i can do in an hour's time i could rate page up on page upon page i can tell you about the first time seeker that knows nothing about the holy ghost i can tell you about the chronic seeker i can tell you about struggling seekers they're struggling because they doubt that god can do it it's your job to tell them he can i can tell you about those that are confused we had a little boy that he didn't want the holy ghost he no way he wanted the holy ghost we asked him why he said because i ain't ready to go to heaven he'd been told all his life you got to get the holy ghost to go to heaven well he thought when he got the holy ghost he's going to heaven he wasn't ready to go to heaven handy then he said but doesn't mom and dad got the holy ghost and he's like oh yeah we don't mean you're going to go to heaven right now but sometimes people are literal so again you've got to get to know the person you've got to understand the person sometimes we have to take baggage off of that person and sometimes you get the quiet seeker sometimes getting them to be heard is difficult but you have to tell them brother remember told somebody last weekend you can't hum and get the holy ghost quit humming that's all they did he said and everybody around him said wow that's powerful it's simple watch what they're doing and talk with him it ain't about like i said earlier it ain't about shaking the holy ghost into somebody it's about coming down here and being a part of their experience if you hear nothing else i say tonight be a part of that experience and don't be intimidated because when it does happen i'm not saying if when it does happen you're a part of that experience and your faith we begin we will begin to increase one by one well sister remember i've only been in church it's got to start somewhere but pastor is is he's only one man that's what pastor is you want to see more people in this church get to the altar they're not going to come up here if nobody else is in the altar well sister remember everybody might think i'm a sinner where you are the bible says all have sinned so we all need to be in this halter so don't be intimidated by that if nothing else come down here and repent and get your mind in the fashion that it should be in and then when god begins to lead you follow that voice listen to what god's telling you to do some of you have heard this story and some of you have not but i'll tell you the story of the two little twin girls at the age of two god woke up a neighbor and said take the girls to church tomorrow and she said okay lord she went back to sleep and god woke her again did you hear me it's important take those girls to church tomorrow she said god i heard you the first time i will go get those babies so sunday morning come she got up went next door knocked on the door and asked their father said can i take the twins to church tomorrow and he said yes but this would be your last opportunity because they're moving to arkansas tomorrow i knew you'd love that part so she got him dressed but she was running late and by the time she got to church the pastor was already preaching but she knew what she heard from god so she brought him forth to the pastor and she said pastor god told me to have these babies prayed for we've got to pray he said i knew you were coming he said let's pray that little bitty country church in texas they prayed over those babies 21 years later how many of you want to wait 21 years to find out while god woke you up in the middle of the night sometimes we get in a hurry and we want to know god now when god says i'm doing something be patient we got to be patient in these altars so 21 years later that neighbor lady is looking through that window in the kitchen because you know in texas their windows are right across from each other brother remember says you can spit on the other house i don't want to move into those kind of houses i want enough room in between but she she noticed the twin was sitting there and the twin noticed her and she said dad why is that lady staring at us she's not trying to hide it he said oh baby she's been wanting to talk with you go out on the back deck she'll meet you around on her side of the fence sure enough once when number two walked out there the elderly lady ran around and she said you are apostolic aren't you she said yes ma'am i am she said you've been filled with the holy ghost haven't you she said yes ma'am i have she said you've been baptized in jesus name haven't you and she said well yes ma'am i have when she did she began to shout all over now trend number two stood there bewildered she come back to the fence she said you don't know who i am do you some days they will never know or remember you but that's not up to you she said no ma'am i'm sorry i don't guess i know who you are she said 21 years ago i prayed for you and your sister can you tell me why that twin dropped her head and began to weep hard she said man what you don't understand is we lived one of the worst abuse cases in the state of arkansas my older brother was murdered my older sister died of a drug overdose and my other brothers and sisters are atheists she said but something kept my sister and i all those years i can tell you that story because i'm twin number two that is my story and twin number one got the holy ghost about five ten years ago and we're both living for god today because somebody took the time i am here because somebody loved me enough as a two-year-old baby i don't care from 2 to 96 like i talked about while ago it's imperative that we pray with him you'll see dear children's revivals i'll go and i'll lay my hands on babies and i'll pray for an anointing and i pray god let them hear your voice above the world and i'll pray for them even as babies i want to influence them no matter what age they are because we don't know what they're going to face tomorrow we don't know if it's going to be like that young man in georgia we don't know during one of the worst times in my life after being abused and you know what i mean there's kids in the room i escaped out of the window and i ran and i ran and it was almost dark and i found a big concrete culvert and i hid in that culvert because it was less afraid than what i would have to go home to and it became dark and i sat there in the dark and i'll never forget this moment in my life and i began to pray just one i was praying lord just seeing one person to help me let one person see me let one person reach out ladies and gentlemen we're struggling to find one some of you know the missionary cindy white how she went to jordan and she lost her life over there she got sick and didn't make it back home and her daddy began to cry out why god why did my daughter have to go to jordan and die he said because she was the only one willing to go the fields are white but we need some altar workers to keep them we need some people that'll work these altars whether it's building a relationship out there to get them in here and somebody to finish the work there's all kinds of steps but it begins to one there are some of you right now that are people are already coming into your mind you know who i'm talking about you're like sister please don't ask me to minister to them when you minister to the least of these god will bring in the rest because somebody ministered to me somebody and let me tell you what i was a bully i'm gonna be honest i was a kid in high school you did not want to see i couldn't control the bullies at home but i could at school we went to our first class reunion oh she broke my nose she broke my arm oh she beat me up and he's like i don't know if i'm going home with you i said bc baby bc that was before christ but now they see the difference everybody's like why did we not reach to you all the christians missed it they all missed it will you be that one it's time we get in these altars and we work if i could get some music for just a moment i know we got work tomorrow but i want to take just a moment and i will i want each and every one of us to recommit to god that god i'm going to do more i'm going to begin to work these altars from the altar to the world this church should be full tonight in the day that we're living this church should be full there are people out there scared out of their wits wanting to know where to go but they need somebody to lead them that is your job in the altar if you hear nothing else i say tonight lead in the altar follow after what the holy ghost is telling you to do close have them close your eyes raise their hands raise their face raise their voice and whatever you're feeling in the holy ghost sister remember that's intimidating are you trusting god to use you people say sis remember why would god use me do you know what i tell people when they ask me that he used to donkey why will he not use you why will he not the problem is in your mindset are you here to play church or be the church you're fixing to be tested there's fixing to be a test ladies and gentlemen because the time is drawing close and he's going to say i know you or i know you not and when these get the holy ghost we remind them don't just come up here and do it one time do it every day because the holy ghost is power and you've got to keep that strength strong just like lifting weights you've got to pray encourage them again and again and ladies and gentlemen if you're not praying like that every day you need to be everybody stand for just a moment i want to just take a few seconds and recommit back to god god we want to begin to disciple that we learned last week but god let us begin to build relationships wherever you may lead us tomorrow whether that's going to be a flat tire or a gas station whether it's going to be in a hospital or it's going to be at a restaurant god help me to be willing to listen god i pray an anointing over this church god i pray spiritual revelation direction and guidance lord fill this place with hungry souls thank you jesus this is how it's done this is how it's done sometimes you've got a lead sometimes you gotta lead in an altar service talk to them love them and then lead them talk love and lead and then don't give up on them allow that to relationship pastor can't be there for everybody as the church gets bigger that's going to be even more difficult come on the holy ghost is stirring some of you you better get used to this altar you better get comfortable in this altar thank you jesus jesus jesus jesus that's it oh lord we thank you listen to that voice tonight if he's asking you to do something reach out and speak don't be intimidated minister one to another come on we need each other we can't do it by ourselves anymore come on this service was designed months ago and god knew where we were going to be in the midst of this time i know i need to be with my mother but god said i got a word i got a word for chattanooga see the church is a womb are we aborting the babies that are coming through here we can talk about how bad abortion is all we want but as a church if we don't respond we're going to abort some babies it's not about you and i it's about what he can do god help me to move out of my way lord help me to move out of my way oh god god stir every soul in this place tonight let us understand that we're living in the last days god let us be that vessel that you're calling us to be right now god let us no longer walk in fear intimidation let us not worry about the signs except to know that it's time to win while we can win you see i'm not that individual that wants to slide in at the last second oh no no no when i'm approaching heaven's gate i want thousands of souls behind me i don't want to go by myself i want an army of souls behind me what do you want tonight are you waiting till the last second to slide in there's family members that you've given up on god says i'm not done i'm not done but you've got to have that holy boldness to speak to them come on i was just there last week i know the intimidation i know the fear and then afterwards i'm like lord why did it take me so long somebody learn from my mistake tonight reach to those family members now oh hallelujah lord use us lord jesus that's it come on the holy ghost is speaking right now come on the holy ghost is touching there are people in this place right now that need a word that needs encouragement be that word be that encouragement come on just a few more just a few more minutes the world will be there when you get done feel the presence i remember when i first came to an apostolic church it scared me i held onto that back pew and after service i said i'll never go back because it scared me but within just a few weeks i began to long to be back in that presence that i was in i began to say i gotta get back there i don't know what's there but i want to get back cultivate that atmosphere make these altars a welcome place we love to tell the children if they keep seeking and they're seeking and they're seeking i'll whisper in their ear i'll be here all night and pray with you buddy but when you're done open your eyes because we never want the altar to become a punishment so what is this altar to this church what is it altru trading tonight allow the holy ghost to lead you and be a leader get in this altar and lead i don't care how young you are you don't have to be old like me i realize every year i'm getting older you know i used to listen to the elders because they're pretty smart hear me young ones and now i realize i'm an elder brother remember pointed out at the menu the night said oh look you can eat because you're you're a senior i'm like thank you for pointing that out listen young people they know with by experience but do not let that intimidate of who you are there are children in your schools that need you we just lost how many to the devil's work my heart wonders how many of those kids were ready how many did we fail that's where my heart aches i don't know if you know but a young man tried to get into one of our tennessee schools today i don't know if you've seen that on the news yet three women teachers tackled him said oh no you're not and stopped him we could have had that happen in tennessee today are your kids prayed up are you prayed up are we working our altars every time we have service at home we should have an altar pray for your babies pray for one another teachers also lost their lives i've got a kid that's a teacher don't you think that don't influence me but i pray for those babies every day i hope it spoke to you we're coming back in november and i'm gonna see if you listened like brother remember told brother sloan tonight there's going to be a test here a little bit the test is did you hear it's not did you hear sister rumor but did you hear the holy ghost tonight did you hear the holy ghost because there's somebody out there saying lord just one you are that one so listen so wake up
