come on close your eyes and throw your head back and go ahead and lift up the name of Jesus hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah blessed be the name of the Lord I don't know if you realize it or not but what they just sung about every time they said that name Jesus wasn't just a lyric but you could feel it's like a pulse every time that name is mentioned we go ahead and just have church right here there's nothing I've got to even preach when you speak the name of Jesus all authority anything can happen whatever you walked in here with just had to run out of here at the mention of the name of Jesus come on one more time would you lift up a shout unto God if he's done anything for you let Faith rise in this place tonight come on that I hear some of you when you lift up your voice come on if you don't know what to say just speak that name of Jesus right now somebody lift up a Hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah Jesus we love you Jesus we love you Jesus we love you my mama that don't get you stirred up I don't know what will I don't know what was more impressive them singing and the power of the Holy Ghost or the fact they sung all that without any lyrics my God they just memorized the whole Bible I think they told us everything from Genesis to John there so we uh that was amazing give them a big hand my Lord you can be seated in this house tonight I'm believing that God is going to do something great I want to just give a great report that all of our campuses today in Madisonville brother Joel Orr they're at campus they and their second Sunday in and we're just thankful for what God is doing give them a big hand what God is doing there in Madisonville brother Nolan went and preached Sevierville campus as he said pastor baptized two on Tuesday night before he headed out to Lebanon and it's just been a powerful move of God there and then brother Erickson left from this morning's service and went to Cleveland preached there for brother Fallon he said they had a packed house and had just a great great move of God we're thankful for what the Lord is doing Pastors in Lebanon God is moving everywhere and I know that the topic tonight is uh is healing and uh those of you that have made your way to the house of God tonight in need of a touch from God I believe that that can happen tonight I said I believe that that can happen tonight you see that the song that was just sung the devil's back is already broke he's already been defeated so the only thing that would keep God from doing what God wants to do in this room tonight is our flesh the only thing that would keep God from doing what he wants to do is our flesh we already have authority over the adversary we all already have authority over anything else but I believe that we have something we need to address tonight before we go to God in prayer for healing just making sure that we understand I'm going to build on what Pastor Erickson preached on this morning but I feel very strongly in the Holy Ghost tonight that it's time for us as a church to stop playing defense as a movement as the Church of the Living God in the last days it is time for us to begin to act it is time for us to go to war so to say spiritually it's time for us to begin to work in faith it is a different world that we're living in and I believe that the political world what's going on politically oftentimes is matching what's going on spiritually that we are being attacked and I told the young people Friday in Chapel I said in your generation if you just play defense you're going to get run over you're going to have to know the word of God you're going to have to combat you're going to have to speak the word of faith and believe that it's going to happen it's time for us to begin to operate and I'm here to to challenge you tonight I believe that God's fixing to do something great through this church not that he's already but we've not come to just meet a mark and to live there we've come for something greater and you say well God's done a lot of things for this church and there's miracles in fact this place we're sitting is a miracle and that's great but God's got something more for us in fact I'll go ahead and speak it just to go ahead and Shake you up a little bit there's going to be a church of thousands in this city why because God's going to do some Great and Mighty things God's going to work through the faith of the people sitting in these pews and God is going to turn this city upside down do you believe that huh I'll just simply come to asking are you ready the Lord's going to do something in this place tonight it's going to be a shift there's going to be a shift here in a few moments and I believe that God is going to do something great I want you to pray with me and we're going to dive into this but I want you just to Bow your head and let's pray this prayer together God I'm going to do whatever you tell me to do tonight God I Surrender come on would you pray that with me just before we dive into this I need you to pray that and open up your heart God I'm going to do whatever you tell me to do tonight God I'm going to be God not just your mouthpiece tonight but I'm going to be an obedient vessel God I'm going to be used God tonight whether you flow through me or you heal me or you touch me to be able to pray for somebody else whatever the case may be tonight Lord when you tell me to move when you tell me to act God I'm going to God I'm going to act in obedience tonight God and I have faith believing I've come with expectation believing that you're going to do something great in my life tonight in Jesus name would you shout amen amen I really had a hard time figuring out what to title this so I just took brother Ericksons just do it cool we're pretty much kind of going to preach the same thing the Book of John begins with the deity of God he understands the power of God it's a lot of what they just sang about in the beginning was the word Jesus Is God John has made it very clear to open up his text he doesn't start with the lineage of Abraham he doesn't start with the the descendants of David he doesn't start with Ruth and Boaz he doesn't take you back like many of the other gospels do but he starts with in the beginning was the word the word was with God and the Word was God that he was not just Jesus because he came out of David's bloodline he's not just Jesus because he's of the promises of Abraham but he's Jesus because he's God in flesh he's Jesus he's the I am he is the the bread of life he is the king of kings he is the Lord of lords and John wants to establish right here in chapter ones that that this is God this is this is this is not just uh the lineage of the Old Testament but God hear o Israel the Lord our God is one Lord and he is our savior and he is the Alpha and the Omega and the beginning and the end he is right here and John establishes that before he can establish anything because we have to establish our belief in God before we can go any further believing in God our faith in God and there's been a strong shift in our world and I I've happened to live through it and I know everybody probably each generation experiences a shift of what takes place uh throughout your life and what you had to face when I was growing up um it was atheism it was Darwinism it was Evolution it was a Big Bang Theory it was the challenge of the mind or the mentality of mankind to make you really think or question if there was a god but there seems to have been a shift over just the past few years maybe the past decade it has shifted to the point where it's not so much challenging the sovereignty or the identity of God but it's about the identity of you and I it's almost as if the spiritual battle that's going on has realized brother Weatherly that we can't ever convince them that there's not a god even the writers of the foolish theories that have been taught and again tried to communicate from the highest levels of Education in our land they realize that those theories that they've been teaching for years that those men as they begin to die offer saying on their deathbed that this was all just a theory and I really need the god that I've denied now for years and said that it was just a form of evolution they seem to talk a different talk when they're breathing their last breath and there seems to be this shift that the devil cannot convince you that there's not a God so he's going to now convince you that God can't do what he is for you there's been this shift now it's it's it's all about identity it's all about trying to take apart the family you you've got pronouns you've got all the things that we're we're facing and dealing with it's all about my identity because we realize that we can understand John chapter one you can understand uh who God is and you can look at history and you can look at the things of God and you can look at how it all backs it up and you can believe in God so my question to you tonight do you believe is not just in God but do you believe in yourself you have to believe in yourself before anyone else will believe in you you say well that you know I I don't know no that it's it's very biblical and it's very psychological and it's very spiritual you have to believe in who you are in him before God can work through you we're going to establish this or we're going somewhere your prayers literally can become through your victimization or you're down in the dumps and God I don't know how he can do it for them and I can read the Bible and I can see how he did it back then and I know he worked miracles and signs and wonders but you know I've messed up you know I I can't I didn't come from a good family you can all of a sudden begin to victimize yourself to where even your prayers just become audible depression you're just in the Molly grubs all the time you you pray to a god that you believe in but you don't truly believe he can do it because the devil's got you convinced you're not who you should be for God to use you so they're your for your belief is not it's not uh it's not kept back or held back and your faith is not low because of your reverence of God and your belief in God and you believe that he can do exceedingly and abundantly and above all that you can ask or think and you believe that he he healed the lame and he he healed the leper and he rose again on the third day and you believe all those things but you just don't quite see how he could do that through you because the devil has magnified your past and the devil has called you to think less of yourself and the devil has beat you up Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday and Friday and Saturday so when you walk into the house of God although you acknowledge Him with your presence your frame of mind is not a frame of mind of faith so first John 14 19 look at this and you could see this logic and I don't have time to dive into it in the Bible entirety but we love him why because he first loved us when you believe it it will change your behavior how you behave is based upon what you believe so in Chapter 2 of John Jesus Jesus is established in who we we believe in him and then John takes us straight to the moment of Jesus's first miracle right there in John chapter 2. so we have to establish this if we're going to see Miracles we're going to talk about Jesus's first miracle for a few moments tonight but if we're going to see the supernatural we've got to understand who Jesus is and why Jesus is here on Earth is all about working through you and the devil is a liar and the society that you live in is the world that you're in but you're not of and you've got to realize tonight that no matter if you walked in here and you've got drugs in your veins and you've got anxiety in your mind or whatever you're going through God has a plan for you God has a purpose for you God wants to use you and if the devil can convince you oh I love Jesus and I worship Jesus and I can even say hallelujah but at some point you've got to get it in between your ears and locked up in your mind that God's got a plan for me not just for Tyler for me I've got to believe it for myself I've got to believe in myself so we take us into this point we understand what he's done in John Chapter 2 and verse number 3 brings us to this this this amazing moment where Jesus introduced uh he's introduces this miracle worker at a wedding at a party some say has gone on now for maybe a couple days in John Chapter 2 and verse number three says and when they wanted wine they had ran out of wine which in that day would have been an embarrassment and that day would have been something that would have been uh it would have been a a very dishonorable thing Jesus the mother of Jesus said unto him they have no wine look at that in verse number three she says his mother says to him they have no wine and Jesus said unto her a woman what have I to do with thee my hour has not yet come and if you really read that in original text he doesn't sound like a smart ellick some of you are thinking thinking man if I talk to my mom that way I'd get one right upside the jaw you know woman hey easy hey easy it's not really translated that the way they just wrote it that way for some reason woman my time's not come yet my hour has not yet come and in other words this is not scheduled this is not on my agenda this is not the moment where I'm supposed to step out and begin to do the miraculous and his mother I love this says to the service whatever he says to you do it whatever he tells you to do just do it and there were yet six water parts of stone after the manner of the purifying of the Jews containing two or three Perkins apiece and Jesus said unto them fill the water pots with water and they filled them to the brim I love this Jesus the they're out of wine what's that got to do with me my hours not come and that conversation ends he gives mine hours not yet come and she says hey whatever he says to do do it we probably need more parents in this day and age like that huh I'd tell my dad why he said because I said so keep on moving right says well well my hours not yet come but she said she doesn't say another word she just says Get Ready get ready you you something's about to happen there's just anticipation there's this expectation that Mary has and I think we've got to adopt in this room tonight if we want to see God do something we've got to be involved do you have the faith tonight to prepare for what God is going to do do you have the faith to set the stage knowing that the main character will eventually show up Faith is what is hoped for it's a belief that just like Mary says just do whatever he says something's about to happen something's about to take place just get ready just get ready my hour's not gonna just just just just do whatever he says just do it my grandfather had a sign because he stood in the pulpit I can see it as clear as day and that old Sanctuary that hung across the back doors of the sanctuary simply just said this expect a miracle every time we walked in respect a miracle he said I've got to make sure that every time I stick by step behind this Pulpit I expect a miracle it's powerful to see what God can do when we expect him to do something does God have to move mountains or mole Hills to exceed your expectation some of us I believe have come in maybe you've come here tonight and there's a little bit more expectation because you saw the topic was healing that God's going to do something but healing can take place anytime anywhere any moment where a child of God realizes that I don't just believe in him but I believe God can do it through me and I allow God in fact I'll give you an example Abby Brantley was standing about right here last Sunday morning on Easter Sunday morning where we were celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ she walked in on a pair of crutches and her knee was messed up so bad that the doctor said that due to some other conditions where she had lost her hearing and some other things going on with a disease that they could not perform surgery on her she was going to walk with that pain in her knee the rest of her life I know Noah and Gabby are here somewhere if I get any of this wrong just yell at me all right but if I'm if I'm correct she's not on crutches and she can hear better now nobody knew about that right huh because healing can happen at any time anywhere anytime you choose to say God I believe that you didn't just do it for the disciples and you didn't just do it here or there or whatever you can do it through me right now that the devil's not gonna deceive me into thinking that I'm not worthy of the miraculous that I'm not worthy as they were God can do it in this room this very moment if you choose to believe it's beyond my belief in God you've got to believe that he can do it in your life there has to be an expectation When you pray there has to be a belief so strong that God can do anything I want you to help me tonight and this this may be just a little bit of a crowd exercise of of uh of how we can kind of build our faith and I know we're not in kids church but I'm used to dealing with with students and keeping them from falling asleep so if you if you believe that Jesus rose from the dead would you stand up that's pretty good you can be seated this is going to be kind of like Simon Says for a moment um if you believe that Jesus called Lazarus out of the Grave would you stand up there's still a few sitting up there in the production room I don't know if they believe or not but um you can be seated see ah there is it if you believe Jesus Christ is coming back for his church would you stand to your feet I I believe those are pretty evident right pretty strong you know just remain safe if you believe that that he healed the lame man if you believe he healed jairus's daughter if you believe that that he healed the ten lepers if you believe any of those things could you just wave your hand at me just let me know you believe you believe you know there's there's some things in here you know you believe he cursed the Fig Tree I know that's not just yeah yeah that's what it says right huh so here's the thing you got to get if he can do it back then and he's coming again that's the future why is it that we can believe God for the past and the future but we don't believe he can do it right now in this very moment God can heal somebody in this very moment faith can begin to rise and that pain that you've been walking around with for months can all of a sudden leave your body why because you got a revelation that it's just as much for me as it was for Paul and Silas it's just as much for me tonight as it was for Abby Brantley last Sunday morning you've got to get that you can't let the devil deceive you from getting what God has for you can be seated I I believe I believe that God can do it all throughout the Bible the gospels James 5 15 says and let the prayer of faith save the sick that the Lord shall raise him up and those have committed sins he will forgive them all throughout Matthew 9 you'll see it over and over again look at Matthew 9 and verse number 20 and behold a woman which was deceased which was diseased Lord I'm glad she wasn't deceased disease with an issue of blood 12 years I have anybody's 12 years old huh 12 years old stand up in your seat back there wave your hand 12 years old she's had it as long as that girl's been alive 12 years had an issue of blood 12 years she's walked around and she came behind him and touched the Hem of His Garment for this is so amazing here how this is written look at this and and touched the Hem of His Garment for she said within herself you got to get this before we can move on tonight she said within herself if I could just touch His Garment I'll be made whole if I can just touch His Garment I can be made whole it doesn't matter what anybody else says it doesn't really matter how much I build your faith tonight at some point in this sermon tonight at some point whether it's in a prayer line or it's in the car line where you waiting on your kids for school wherever it's at you will have to come to a realization where you've got to know within yourself I can tell you all night but you've got to have your own belief system that says I know God can do it but I got to realize Within Myself to be able to say I believe God can do this for me I believe God can heal my family I believe God Can Heal Me of cancer she just told herself I I believe he can do it I believe he can do it I have belief enough that no one else has to tell me I can say within myself that I have faith the enemy is here tonight to destroy expectation the adversary and your flesh will try to convince you that you can settle for a wedding without wine it's okay I'll just deal with this pain it's okay I'll just deal with my marriage being like it is it's okay I I realize that that's just how it is and I've determined that at some point I must have this concept was in the Bible as well somebody gets sick or something happens they said well what kind of sin have they committed the adversary is always attack with that idea that if you're you you need a miracle what's God going to do he's going to try to perform but there's going to be an adversary and there's going to be this mental state where you have to realize that you qualify for it don't become a victim don't start living in it don't become identified with it say God if I'm going through something it's an opportunity for you to work that's the bottom line it's a a lot of life that we have to realize that I've got to have I've got to have the wine I've got to have the spirit of God I've got to have a change that's a little heavier than I thought let's go with this guy it's amazing this story is how much we can learn from this idea that wine temprifies as our type of spirit of God the Holy Ghost how powerful it is a life without the Holy Ghost never accept it never never accept a life where you've come to church for months and you have spoken tongues never accept a life we are not led by the spirit of walk in the spirit each and every day you ought to wake up with expectation you ought to pray that God would meet you with somebody that needs a miracle because you have the wine don't ever settle for a wedding don't ever settle for a day without the presence of God but it's amazing here that we continue in verse number six and there were set their six water pots of stone after the manner of purifying of the Jews containing two or three Firkins of peace and Jesus said to them fill the water pots with water many times we need wine but Jesus wants to talk to us about water many times you're in a need of something and Jesus Will begin to address something else I don't know how many times in my life when I look back on certain things that I had to go through when Jesus was just using it to get my attention about my pride Jesus was just using it to get my attention to realize that I can't control this Jesus was just using it to get my attention to realize hey you can't get all angry and get all bent out of shape every time something don't go your way it's many times when God's going to work in the Supernatural that he'll bring out the water when we need the wine there's many times where I'm wanting a supernatural move and God says hey you just need to get out the water and the thing that you need from God ultimately should drive you to that water that word oh it's so powerful it's so simple it's throughout the entire Bible that we see that it's it's got to be some I ask you God to heal my body but you answered with something totally different so he says he said just take those and and you you need to take that down and I need you to draw out some water now I spent some time for some reason I look back on it I'm not really sure who made the decision but it happened I can't take it back can't go back but our senior trip as our school was at a private school we chose to go to Mexico on a mission trip for a a children's home and we were going to help and and try to do some construction and do some things to try to make this Children's Home somewhat better and so I had worked some with my dad in different ones at the church in construction I thought this can't be that bad we got there and Mexico is a whole lot hotter than Northeast Georgia um and I had a little bit of a secret our art teacher was one of the chaperones for the the trip and I happened to Brother Thompson be one of the best art students at our school that's not really one of the things as an athlete you go around you know like you didn't put a patch on your letterman jacket for being able to be an artist type thing you know I just wasn't the coolest vibe to go with but she knew that I was there and she knew that they needed the logo painted on the side of this building so the first night she gets out an old overhead projector it's the logo and they start building the scaffolding and I'm the brave chosen one that gets to go up and spend the evening painting this logo up there and I'm thinking man it's getting late it's getting late and everybody else is playing soccer and drinking those Mexican cocolas and orange drinks and I'll never forget the next day they come through and wake us all up and I'm tired I don't want to get up I walk out and they're like hey we're going to pour a basketball court that sounds fun they pull up with the truck and they unload this you've seen them we still use it it's like the big gravel you know you make concrete with it you Churn it turn it or whatever so you pull up I'm like well that that's work and uh knowing some of the guys in my class that thing wasn't going to turn itself and so then they pulled out with a a couple tons of of stone rock and I noticed that when they pulled up with the flatbed Brother Thompson that uh on the back of it there was a ton of shovels I leaned over my buddy I said bro I don't think that bed dumps so here we go shoveling all the rock off so we got to shovel it off because he's got to go get more rock she had to shovel it onto the ground then you got to shovel it into the old you get the drift so I'm thinking man this is going to be a long this basketball court just got a whole lot bigger so I'm thinking well I know there's one more thing that we need so I leaned over and said Hey where's the water spigot he said yeah he said the truck will be here in a minute they're going to need y'all's help truck it's an interesting way of doing things pull up with this big truck that has this huge massive water container on the back of it dries a bone so we got to go down to the river with buckets before we could ever start with the rock that we had just shoveled out of the truck we had to fill that tank up with water and like hey why don't you pull down here he's like well we can't block the road you're just gonna have to walk back and forth let's just say for a couple days me and that five gallon bucket in that jug became really good friends and I began to think of this story when I begin to read through this passage where Jesus turns and tells them he says hey I need you to go fill these water pots to the brim well these weren't just little coffee cups these were massive vessels that hold 20 gallons of water 20 gallons of water that's five five gallon buckets 20 gallons wouldn't fit in here for sure 20 gallons of water and he said I need you to just bring them filled to the brim so there wasn't just one guy there had to be this these servants were and I can't help but think of what a process it was and how many times that we can relate we go back and forth you walk into the house of God you see nothing nothing but water didn't she say she needed wine I don't see nothing in here but water it doesn't matter what you do to it it just still looks like water she said they were out of wine why do we keep going to the river to get water there's somebody in this place tonight that the Lord spoke to me this afternoon just simply said keep carrying the water there's there's somebody sitting in this house tonight the reality is God's will and God's way and what he's doing in your life and I'm not here to be Debbie Downer I'm not here to kill the the level of Faith but some of you are just supposed to be pouring water and you're you're going to keep carrying water and then all of a sudden one day it's going to get filled to the brim and there's going to be that moment where you've got to pour and you begin to see something other than water it's amazing it happens in scripture he prophesies not somebody God prophesies the children of Israel we're going to deliver you out of the hands of Egypt how long were they there anybody know 400 years not 40. not 40 days and 40 nights 400 years but how quick did God deliver them one night some of you may feel like it's a lifetime of carrying water God sometimes will have you carry some things that looks nothing like what you need just just my point in this tonight is when you don't see the wine keep going back to the well when you don't see the miracle keep going back and doing whatever Jesus tells you to do just do it just be obedient he says just just get ready just do whatever he says to do I know you need wine but keep drawing water carried it carried it and carried it the devil wants to convince you to give up while you're carrying water the devil wants you to just be okay with your your your circumstance you just go to church and then you you go through the motions it's it's a powerful thing to see here what the devil will do but you've got to stay involved even when you don't see what God told you you were going to see and this applies to way much more hold on more than just healing say well I've got a call and you don't see that calling keep pouring water you got to keep doing what you know to do you got to keep keep doing what God told you to do until you see what God allows you see simple I I know but it's it's something we must understand the devil will consistently I thought you had a word of God I thought you had purpose I thought you had this I thought your God was a miracle worker look at that water that's not wine but if you believe you'll keep moving water if you believe you'll keep just carrying the water up the hill you keep pouring it out until we fill it up to the brim I can't help but think how God took something you read the scripture very closely here you'll see that God took something that was used this this this this is powerful all throughout scripture you'll see the miracle is always in what you have or what you have left let's look at it all throughout the Bible it's the rod in your hand Moses it's the Five Loaves in the two in the two fish it's the handful of meal we have to as a people stop looking around at what we don't have and start looking at what we do have we we've got to make sure that we don't come at Faith or a move of God at any angle of filling light that we are a victim because then you will not behave you will operate in your fear and not in faith a little ounce of fear will remove any faith you've got if there's an ounce of unbelief it plays both ways you say it just takes just a faith the size of a mustard seed but yeah any ounce of doubt that's the part we don't really want to preach about but the bottom line is if the devil convinces you at all to fear and not move you don't get the miracle if he gets you to identify as the one that don't deserve it you don't get to part the Red Sea Moses I know it's fearful to pick up that serpent by the snake and after the serpent by the tail after all you just ran from it a moment ago he wants you to pick up the things move the things do the things it's unorthodox it's not logical it's not natural many times sometimes it may be mundane it's definitely probably not going to be fun all while you're preparing for the pouring and there is an outpouring of wine that wants to take place if you'll keep bringing the water there is an outpouring of God's spirit that wants to take place in this city in this place tonight if you will keep bringing the water if you'll keep doing what God asks you to do but the the scary thing here is is you draw water and they said that they took them he says after the manner of the purifying of Jews he said of the Jews six water parts of stone verse six if you can put it on the screen after the manner of the purifying of the Jews containing two or three Perkins a piece that's about 20 20 gallons of water so he took and he used if you could see this with me ceremonial pots these were the pots that were at the doors that when everybody came into the party they would use this water to wash their feet and wash their hands so that they were pure going into the party so he took what was ceremonial and had them fill it up with water so he could turn it into wine God wants to take your your going through the motions this house cannot be just a place that you call your church and you come and you just you just say well I'm a part of that or I'd identify with that this has got to be a place where we take what's ceremonial maybe at other places and we make it a House of Miracles we allow it to become a place where God can absolutely do anything what some people may just be using to wash their hands and wash their feet and cleanse their conscience for the week we can make it a thing where God comes in and he heals the leper and he it's in your ordinary Church this is no ordinary just four walls it's an ordinary sheetrock this is a separated holy place it's not a place to mundane and just going through the motions there's miracles in this house it took those ceremonial pots he filled them with water and they turned to Wine now see this because this is we're painting a picture these pots the ceremony of this place but it's got to become more than just going through the motions or we will miss the miraculous 20 gallons 20 gallons give or take in each pot I know I'm gonna need some brains for this and make sure I'm looking at it right there's no like we're not going to flip these over and figure out which one which is like put a coin under it and move them around enough I did but I need some real wise people to help me figure out if there's six pots and there's 20 gallons a piece how much that was that come out too 120 gallons huh these all continued in one Accord in prayer and supplication in Acts 1 with the women and Mary and the mother of Jesus with his brother and in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples and said the number and names together were about a hundred and 20. it's amazing to me to see that he's painting this picture the whole time his first miracle is showing us explaining to us they did they went and tarried there they waited they they they they're there just moving the water Jesus said go Terry in the upper room and I'm going to pour it out go wait right there and I'm going to pour the wine out he said it's not going to be like the old one it's going to be a new wine it's going to be something you've never felt before it's going to be the power from on high he said I just need you to go and tarry in other words just like he told those servants just go fill those water pots up with water and I'm gonna turn them to Wine there is an outpouring that is coming for those that will continue to do what God tells them to do because all of a sudden they begin to uh to tarry and God pours out his fear in Acts 2 and then all of a sudden you begin to see some things begin to happen Acts 3 Peter heals a lame man Peter Hill's a man of palsy Peter raises a woman to life Paul heals a multitude the church begins to see miracles after the pouring of the wine the church begins to see these things happen it it will happen in our life and it will happen in this place I believe more than it's ever happened if we walk in here week after week after week and expect a miracle where are the days where we decide to come on the church because we don't feel well because God's Gonna heal me oh I know that's not popular preaching but where are the days where we don't settle for online but we come on into the house of God because I believe that God's A Healer just like he saved me through the waters of baptism God can heal my body I've got to believe it that's strong I believe everything else but for some reason the devil has convinced a generation that they are exempt from the miraculous it's for you it's for you if I can get this in three or four of you young men and young ladies heads you could change our world just because you're walking Faith instead of fear the devil's got your generation trembling the devil's got you feeling like that you've got to wake up and maintain and if I could just mentally get through the weak and make it to Friday and not lose a friend or lose my mind it is time for you to stand up and begin to proclaim the word of God and know how to speak the name of Jesus and understand that God's got an anointing and God's got to call him I don't know if I can convince you tonight but if you can get it God can touch you and God can do something great in this place it can happen it has happened and it's going to happen you've got to understand that if it happened with one generation and they were people that were created just like you the only thing keeping it from happening in this room right now tonight has to be us we can't over analyze it Pastor said to this mention this morning obedience no obedience that whole the whole term their obedience is better than sacrifice you've heard that you understand that but obedience is is better than sacrifice because it's the basis of sacrifice obedience is the foundation of everything what God wants you to do won't always make sense understand when it comes of scripture that when it comes to the Salvation process it's extremely structured don't change the boat Dimensions Noah or it won't float don't you move the elements of the Tabernacle or the whole structure in the Bible but when it comes to God moving in the miraculous it's always super unorthodox he wants you to do something that makes absolutely no sense I can prove to you blood water and spirit from Genesis of Revelation I can explain to you the structure of Salvation from beginning to end it makes perfect sense it's logical to anybody that wants to see it but when it comes to the miraculous he's going to ask you to do some things that seem like are you sure you you realize they're out of wine what do I need with water you realize I I've got this issue going on I got this issue going on and you want me to walk through a prayer line you you realize that people may think that there's something wrong with me or you realize that this may be going on there are some things that we are not supposed to understand that challenges the mentality of our our culture today like nothing else there are some things you're not going to understand and you still have to do it oh well you're going to have to explain that to me I'm gonna have to go through a 12 week program and you're gonna have to give me the X and the Y and the Z and and how and what and where'd that come from and what's its origin it really don't matter when Jesus says do it When God says to go get water you go get water when God begins to speak you say well I've never ran an aisle before but God's telling me to do it I'm telling you right now whatever God tells you to do you've got to just do it and if you keep irrationalizing it and analyzing it trying to figure out why and what people are going to think you're never going to experience that that realm of what God has for you stand stand to your feet tonight I'm going to challenge you stop questioning start obeying if God said he'll do it he'll do it he said come boldly he said now you have a great high priest that has rent The Veil nobody has to come in for you you can boldly everybody say that boldly boldly approach the throne of Grace and again it seems so unorthodox I bet I could page through 60 sermons and it's not because I'm preaching it but I just the Lord punched me in the chest this afternoon I felt this so burdened so heavy he says why do you come up moaning and groaning as if you don't have access to the throne why do you come up in the Molly grubs feeling like that you've got to go through 40 minutes of intercessory prayer check all the boxes and walk the Fine Line before you can boldly come ask me for something the devil has convinced you that it's not for you the devil has convinced a generation that you're just not quite good enough to experience the Miracles of the New Testament the last time I checked this is a book of Acts Church the last time I checked he's the same God oh we sing about it and I I understand I understand tonight it's easy preaching it's hard living it's hard to get out of character this is what I've always done I'm that guy I'm that lady I'm that young person it's what I do when I come to church Jesus tells me to do something outside of that or the spirit of God starts moving the choir starts singing it's natural for Ben Lee to take off running why Ben Lee's a runner man or that woman who's never stepped out beyond the ordinary the ceremonial pots and because you can't explain why a man asks for water when you need wine you never see the miracle I don't understand why I have to run around a room I don't understand why you want me to step out I understand why you want me to dance I don't understand why you want me to lift my voice I don't understand these things there's got to be a breakthrough in your mindset tonight that it doesn't matter what anybody else thinks and it doesn't matter what the devil is trying to whisper in your ear that for a few moments before we go into the prayer line here in a second that there could be a breakthrough of pride in this place tonight if God is going to do the miraculous tonight that Pride's got to break and we've got to be in one Accord before it can happen now in just a moment I want this we're going to erupt in some praise and then we'll make a transition I believe the Lord has given me a very a very direct process now what he does beyond that is up to him this is this has nothing to do with me and I even struggle telling this story because I I felt released of it this afternoon to tell this story and I confirmed with brother Kirby this morning but I could take you to where I was in the gymnasium it was a night where prayer was going forth I think it was probably about five weeks four or five weeks brother Nolan before brother Kirby come in on that Wednesday night and told you the color of the tie you had I believe it was because he could see he had been blind for years walking around couldn't see and again this has nothing to do with me this actually has to do with the lady who's gone on to be with the Lord but I remember Sister Kirby coming up his only sister Kirby wood and she'd grab me by the neck she said the Lord told me you have something to tell me and I'll never forget I'll never forget feeling so low that I begin to weep because I didn't do what God told me to do but God sent a faithful woman a wife he said hey God told me that you have a word for me and I said sister Kirby I know this sounds crazy and I don't even know what may happen from a a doctoral standpoint like I don't know if you do this if this is going to cause pain to brother Kirby or what's going to take place but I said the Lord told me as sure as I'm talking to you that if you'll take that oil right there and not in this room but when you go home if you'll pour that oil the cross for the Kirby's eyes I said the Lord told me that he's going to begin to heal him I confirmed with brother Kirby again I said sister Kirby I don't want to know I said all I want to know is that you heard me say I said whether you choose to do this is totally up to you I never ask her all I know is the man walked in and he could see but for weeks I walked around thinking and that's crazy why would God say something so far-fetched why would God say something so odd so out of the ordinary and it's amazing to see how God operates in the miraculous because you can be a part of it and you're not even the one getting healed all of a sudden my faith began to increase and it was a thing for me and it was very private for me I believe that God has things that he wants to do through me but the devil has deceived me into thinking that that was your grandpa's gift that's something that brother J.L Pipkin saw happen that's something that the forefathers saw that that when even when it happened on a ball field brother Nolan I remember so distinctly a man had broke his arm and they were from another it was actually a Baptist Church down the road that my dad and them were playing his his bones were sticking out his arm and my grandpa made his way down there as only he could a big old white-headed man and he pulled that little right off his keychain he flipped it off and he took that all and he rubbed his fingers down the side of that forearm and that bone went right back into his arm the devil has come brother Joel to convince us you can't do it you can't have enough faith and at this point tonight if you can get beyond the lies of the enemy and allow your belief in God of what God has for you and what God wants to do in this place to hear in just a moment I want you to close your eyes I want you to Bow your heads and I believe this is going to be for any and everybody not just someone that has a physical healing but here in just a moment this place is going to erupt with some form of Praise but I want you to pray right now and yeah I want you to ask God God what do you have for me tonight God I know that maybe you have a need maybe that you want to ask God You Want To Boldly approach the throne tonight with and say God I need you to touch my body God I need you to heal sister Linda Thompson God I need you to heal sister step God I need you to heal my brother Nash tonight God I need you to heal right now boldly become boldly approach that Throne right now I'm asking you saints of God to begin to pray come on as you begin to pray God may ask you to do something and I want you to be obedient and the moment you become obedient that anything can happen in this place this evening foreign lift your voice up come on lift your voice up boldly approach the throne if God tells you to step out you say well there's no drums playing there's no music playing it doesn't matter you've got to say to yourself you've got to speak into yourself if God tells you to jump if God tells you to leave if God tells you to run if God tells you to shout if God tells you to go pray for somebody go be a part of the miraculous go get involved go get the water if you want to see the wine I'm telling somebody tonight just do it just obey God come on it's here right now it's here right now the healing power of God the healing virtue of God wants to flow in this place come on that's it we've got to be a doing people we've got to be we've got to take action we've got to get out of our comfort zone come on you got to do something get your pride out of the way let God move right now through everything you're doing come on don't go through the motions this is not a ceremony this is a move of the miraculous have no clue what that is James chapter 5. and verse number 14 says is any sick among you let him call for the Elders of the church and let them pray over him anointing him with oil in the name of the love you that's all it's got to be and when God begins to do what no doctor what nobody can explain somewhere in their memory they're going to be able to look back and see there was a church that
