Summary

Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.

The Father Who Runs to the Lost

  • He opens by reading the parable entire: a younger son demands his portion, wastes it in a far country, and comes to himself among the swine with no man giving to him.
  • The father sees the son while he is still a great way off, runs to him, and restores him with the robe, the ring, shoes, and the fatted calf before the rehearsed apology is finished.
  • The elder son's complaint is answered by the father's gladness: the brother who was dead is alive again, and was lost, and is found.
  • Inside the story sits a group nobody talks about: the servants who had the robe, the ring, and a fattened calf ready because they had been faithfully feeding and preparing all along.

Scriptures: Luke 15:11-32

The Treadmill Church

  • His announced title is 'The Treadmill Church': the treadmill feels monotonous and measures effort without moving you anywhere, yet runners who will run in every season have to use it to stay conditioned.
  • The question he presses on every church and ministry: are you conditioned to run after the lost if the revival you pray for walked through the door — the addict, the stranger, the one your crowd is not ready for?
  • Conditioning is ordinary obedience done when nothing seems to be happening: the prayer room, the home, the Monday-through-Saturday life, because extraordinary outpourings begin with ordinary obedience.
  • Parents who are on the treadmill on Sunday but not on Monday will not keep the next generation; what is done in the house decides what the church looks like.

Run to Save Some

  • He quotes Paul at length: becoming all things to all men to save some, running the race to obtain the prize, and keeping his body under subjection lest, having preached to others, he become a castaway.
  • Why you run matters more than how fast you run; it does not matter if you are limping — keep running, because more people win the race than just you when you run for the right reason.
  • Not everyone will teach a Bible study, and some will be in heaven who simply stayed faithful — singing in the choir, working the coffee shop, parking cars — and played their part when the lost came home.

Scriptures: 1 Corinthians (book-only, as spoken)

Grace Outruns Condemnation

  • He tells of the village ceremony that ran to meet a returning prodigal with clay pots of rejection, and says the father in the parable outran the crowd of condemnation to get there first with grace.
  • The crowd brought the woman taken in adultery expecting truth as a weapon; Jesus gave her grace and gave them truth — and Judas, he says, might have been saved had he run to the cross instead of to rejection.
  • Whatever you are running in the house — camera, sound, social media — remember why you are running it: to seek and to save that which is lost.

War Clothes: Prayer Louder Than Music

  • After the response he leads the house to declare war on the adversary: spiritual warfare begins in the name of Jesus and is directed at the prince of the power of the air, not at praise alone.
  • He binds the spirits of oppression, infirmity, discouragement, and just-getting-by thinking, and prophesies burden and vision returning at Movement 2025 — 'I'm going to get my burden back.'
  • He closes by introducing the keynote preacher, a friend he likens to Jonathan and David's covenant, whose 30th wedding anniversary is celebrated that night.

Scripture index: Luke 15:11-32; 1 Corinthians (book-only, as spoken).

Come on. Is he worthy tonight? Come on. If he's worthy, would you lift your hands? And would you deem him worthy? Would you give him what you think he deserves tonight? Would you lift your voice with a shout on this first night and lift up the name that's above every name, Lord? We deem you worthy of everything because without you, God, we are nothing, oh God. But we've come to bless you tonight, Lord. We've come to exalt you tonight in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus, would you clap your hands to the Lord? Amen. Amen. Amen. Welcome. Welcome to Movement Conference 2025. You may be seated for a moment. Thank you so much for being here. From the bottom of our hearts, we cannot express uh just how appreciative we are to have you here at FAC. And we ask you to do what a lot of the signage says around here, and that is welcome home. So, make yourself right at home. Uh you you treat it as you would treat treat your uh house of worship. maybe not your actual home, but your house of worship, that would be great. Uh we want you to feel right at home this week. And so, thank you so much for being here. If you would give me just a moment, why don't you give this choir praise team, the band, a big hand for leading us in worship. So thankful for them. And they're going, they're going to be taking us before the throne of God each and every day and night. And we're looking forward we're looking forward to that. I'm uh I'm somewhat in a little bit of a spot tonight. First of all, I'm not sure why I'm up here. Um Pastor Ericson, Pastor Carpenter um told me this is what I'm doing and so here I am. Um in in lie of that, I'm I'm honored to be here. I know that uh it is a high responsibility to try to kick the conference off and if I completely drop the ball, the one and only Jimmy Tony is coming here. And just Jimmy Beyond Tony is coming here in a minute. Uncle Jimmy, I love him and so thankful to be partnered up with him tonight. Give honor to my family, my wife, my boys, my parents, uh my in-laws, my grandparents today. I lost my grandfather, uh, Bishop Bishop, uh, he turned 90 years old last week, has been suffering from dementia, and he received his reward this morning about 700 a.m., and I give him high honor today. I highly considered pivoting everything I had planned and preaching one of his messages tonight. He preached one time, "Look out, Thessalonica. Here comes a worldly preacher." He'd traveled across the United States to prove the oneness of the Godhead to somebody. It's a powerful man. As I looked and opened up one of my Papa Hammond's Bibles today, the first page when you open it is Bishop Raymond Bishop, and it had his phone number, landline, written in there. I'm so thankful for my heritage of two greatgrandfathers and u I give them high honor tonight. I'm going to take you to a very familiar p passage chap chapter 15 of the gospel of Luke. If you would stand I'll quickly read through this as I know my audience tonight. I preach into a bunch of ve very well-versed people that handle the gospel week in and week out. So I don't want to dare I don't want to dare act as if you've never heard this. But I I do think it would be uh profitable for our time together to read this very familiar passage as we'll pull our most of our thoughts tonight that I feel like God has given me for you um from this this parable in Luke 15 and verse number 11. Certain man had two sons. The younger of them said to his father, "Father, give me my portion of goods that fall to me." And he divided unto them his living. And not many days after the younger son gathered allto together and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted the substance on riotous living. And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in the land, and he began to be in want. And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country. And he sent him into the fields to feed swine. And he would fain and filled his belly with the husk that the swine did eat, and no man gave unto him. And when he came to himself, he said, "How many hired servants of my father's house have bread enough to spare, and I sit here, perishing with hunger. I will arise and go to my father, and I'll say unto my father, I've sinned against heaven and before thee, and am no worthy to be called thy son, and make me as one of th would you just make me a hired servant?" He arose and came to his father. And when he was yet a great way off, somebody say a great way off. >> Great way off. >> He was a great way off. His father saw him and had compassion and ran, fell on his neck, and kissed him. Son said to him, "Father, I have sinned against thee, against heaven, and in thy sight, no more worthy to be called thy son." And the father said to his servants, "Bring forth the best robe, put it on him. Put the ring on his hand, shoes on his feet. Bring hither the fatted calf and kill it, and let us eat and be merry. For this is my son, son was dead, is alive again. He was lost and is found, and they begin to be married." Now his elder son was in the field, and he was came and drew nigh to the house, and heard music and dancing. He called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. And he said unto him, "Your brothers come home." Father killed the fatted calf because he's received him safe and sound. He was angry. He wouldn't go in. Therefore came the father out and intreated him. And he answered, said to his father, "Lo, these many years I've served thee, neither transgressed I at any time from thy commandment. And you never gave me as much as a kid, a goat, much less the fatted calf that I could just make merry with my friends. Just have a good time." time. But as soon as the son comes home, devoured his living with harlots, you've killed for him the fatted calf." And he said unto him, "Son, thou art with me. All thou thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. It was meat that we should make merry and be glad. For this thy brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost, and is found." Like I said, I know you've heard the story, but I want to pull just a few things from it tonight. You've probably heard, but I just want to remind you tonight. I want to preach to you on this topic. This is my title. I hope it sticks with you, and I hope it doesn't scare any of you to death or or go ahead and offend you because I'm not going to preach about exercise, but my title is the treadmill church. The treadmill church. Don't nobody leave. I'm not going to convict you into any diets, challenge you with any workouts. I just hope this sticks with you for a moment. If you want to hear from the Lord tonight, would you lift your hands and pray with me? God, I thank you for this opportunity to be in your house with your people, God. Some of my greatest friends, Lord, some of the greatest people in all the world, the great saints of this wonderful church are here tonight, Lord. And we just want to be in your presence. We just want to hear from you, Lord. I ask that your word would be relevant. It would be, God, just relevant for every situation, every person, Lord. and that without a doubt when we leave this place tonight that we would know that you've been in this place. That it would be without any doubt that you're here and you're for us and you're with us. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus we pray. Everybody said, "Amen." >> Amen. Would you shout, "Amen." >> Amen. >> Amen. The treadmill, you may be seated. The treadmill church, you've heard it said, "Preacher that's not very good needs props. So, I brought me a treadmill. See here. Hopefully, I don't fall off. Everybody get your cameras ready. I'm not a huge fan of the treadmill. Let's be honest with you. I don't really care for it seems monotonous. It seems like just wasted time. I can think of other ways that I could maybe prepare for a workout or do something, but I don't really care for getting on something where I'm not really going anywhere. Scenery don't change. It's nothing like taking a hike on a trail. It's just it's just the same old saying. Well, no matter how fast you go, it may measure your calories, may tell you the distance, but ultimately it just gets old. It doesn't take long. Like, man, that's just not for me. You know, they can change the channels there in the gym. they can do whatever, but ultimately you're just like this this is this is it's it's but you ought to understand if you're an avid runner, there's times where you got to go to the treadmill because let's be honest, it's much easier than going outside when it's 12 degrees outside, right? >> So, if you're going to keep up running through all the seasons, you're going to have to at times get on something that seems monotonous. >> It seems like we're just going through the motions. Seems like we just can't really get past this. And so it's a it's a thing where I I want to I want to just help you realize that there are seasons where you just got to make sure you're staying conditioning. >> Staying conditioned for what's to come. >> There's going to be a day where the sun comes out and it's going to be a nice fall breezy morning where you can you can lace them up and you can step out of the garage and you can just take off and you can feel the wind through your hair and you could see the mountain line and you can see all the great things that we have around here in the Smoky Mountains. But that treadmill is just not something I always want to get on. And so I I I realize that today as the church, as the people of God, that I just want to take a familiar story and perhaps this little simple illustration and ask you a question. Is your church, is your ministry conditioned to run? Not just run, but is it conditioned to run after that which is lost? >> I know we sing about it. I know we preach about it. I know the young folks do it in in the physical. But can you spiritually is your church systematically? Is your church prepared for the revival if they saw it on the horizon? >> If it showed up at your door, are you ready to run to them? Could you handle the growth that you've been praying for? When necessary, when the season comes, have you done what's seemingly monotonous week in and week out to condition >> your church house? >> To condition your people, >> to condition those people who, you know, they've been in it a long time. And everybody ought to serve the Lord the way they serve the Lord. Amen. every Have you conditioned your church for the for the transgender that may walk through the door? Have you conditioned your crowd for the addict that may walk in that they may grab their kids up beside them and say, "Hey, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa." Have you conditioned your church for just what you've been praying for in the prayer room? Have you conditioned your ministry to be able to accommodate the revival you think you want? Are you willing and able to run to the lost? >> Are you conditioning today for what God wants to do tomorrow? >> Joshua said, "Consecrate yourself today and we'll do wonders tomorrow." It may just be that God wants to see how you're going to do in the season of the treadmill. When you're sitting on the porch and you've been praying for that prodal for months, >> but he just ain't coming through. Can you keep doing what it takes for when he comes over? You've been praying to God that that person would be healed, but God's saying, "Will you keep going to the prayer room?" Brother Norris, will you keep showing up to church? Will you keep worshiping when nothing seems to be happening? Can you do the ordinary? If I could leave something with you tonight. Extraordinary outpourings begin with ordinary obedience. >> It's just a tra Oh, I don't know about you, but we have this kind of church all the time. >> That's just what we do around here. We pray in the prayer room every Sunday. It's just the kind of things we do. You might show up here on a Sunday morning and we might be preaching about holiness. We might be preaching. You never know. We've conditioned this culture >> that it's ready and willing to run and it's prepared to hold. You You can't get in spiritual shape just one or two days out of the week. >> Huh? We can't have a Sunday Wednesday type of church >> because when the spirit of God starts moving and things start coming in and that's not that you know that they come in they they before you know it they have allowed the the culture started to shift because it's not in shape enough to handle those that came in the door. >> I had a I had a conversation with a pastor across town very large church co happened. All of a sudden we were the number one U-Haul one-way U-Haul rental in the nation. >> People moving here. He said, "Zack, I had to shut down my small groups. Our church couldn't handle it. >> We weren't ready for that type of thinking. >> We weren't ready for those type. They were coming in. They were sabotaging our small groups. So, we had to shut everything down and relaunch and revamp. We weren't prepared for the revival we thought we wanted. >> Can I challenge you for just a moment? Only 10% of kids born in Pentecost stay in Pentecost. Why? >> Because parents get on a treadmill on Sundays, >> but don't on Mondays. >> Ain't nothing wrong with Pentecost. There's something wrong with what's going on on Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday. >> Hear me, David. You can dance when we're moving the presence of God, >> but what are you doing in the house? Perhaps we know why Mike looked out of that house. Because what he did on the roof tells me he wasn't the same person at home he was in the streets. We got the next generation. God knows what David's kids look like. >> Why? Cuz we got to be able to I can pray in the prayer room, but I also can pray with my boys at home. Whatever you do, no matter what your church looks like, if you don't condition your home, your church will never look like anything. >> If you don't condition in our opening text, >> there's a group of people that are not really talked about. >> Give me a couple young folks to help him. But Jackson, where you at? I'll make fun of you here. Uh Sid, come here. Step on the treadmill, my friend. There's these people in the house that when G Careful. When Jesus tells this story, the father takes off running. And when he gets there, people have discussion on whether or not the servants came with him or he called back to them. But let me explain to you tonight. There's a group of people that don't get talked about very much in this story. It's all about the lost son that left and the lost son that stayed home and the the the the God the father in the whole situation that's the most lost because he's the most taken advantage of. >> But you've got some servants >> who went and got a robe, >> who went and got a ring. >> That fat calf didn't get fat overnight. Somebody been feeding Some folks been showing up >> singing in the choir. >> Some folks been showing up praying in the prayer room. >> Some folks been showing up and they're ready. You ready? When it's time to run, they're conditioned to run cuz they're not just walking in the spirit, >> they're led by the spirit. Right. Huh. And then and we get them in here and we and this is my person. Yeah. Go ahead. Get on after buddy. I'll turn this thing on up. Don't fall. >> And here here's here's what I I just want to give you something just for a moment. And I felt so I felt so prompted. You could be seated. You I felt so prompted to preach this because I know a lot of you are a lot like me. >> I don't like running on treadmill. >> I want to get out and go. I want to see progress. It drives me crazy if I don't see progress. My wife will tell you she sometimes just sit down on the couch, just take a deep breath, >> just look around. And if I'm not careful, I'll have the people that are called to be feeding the calf. >> And I'll be so mad that they're not running >> that I'll breathe discontentment within the group of people. >> And because they won't run the way I want them to run, I run them off. >> I can have every system. I can have every structure. I can have everything that I'm supposed to have, but I I just always breathe. Hey, you got to be doing this. You got to be doing that. And I could push them to a level to say, "Hey, you you don't you don't cut it here. Let's go ahead and put you somebody else in that position. You better hop on, buddy. It's moving fast. You better get Yep. That's what I'm thinking. You better get to going. You There you pick them up, put them down. Let's go." Well, and before you know it, say, "Hey, hey, there's lost people out here. Hey, we need to be teaching Bible studies. We need to be Can Can I Can I help some of you? Step off here. I don't want to hurt yourself. I Your your mom would kill me. Hey, >> can I can I say this and somebody not throw anything at me? >> There's going to be people in heaven that never taught a Bible study. >> They were just faithful that came and they sung in the choir and they took a robe. They took a garment of heaviness off and because of their praise, they put on a garment of praise on somebody. There was somebody that's just coming willing to work in the coffee shop and be just being a fatted calf. We going to throw a party in there after service. Why? Cuz somebody came in that was lost and now they're found. We baptized them. You played a part cuz you were parking cars. You played a part because you did your part. You don't have to do this. Maybe because that's not what God called you to do. Be careful in this day where we're scrolling through. >> Oh, easy. That's turned up high. >> I would have busted it right there. Thank you, God. I'm scared now. You guys going back up there. Hear me. We're living in an age where we're scrolling through comparing. >> My church don't look like that church. I'm going to get my people here earlier. See if I get my people. >> Paul says to the weak, but came I as weak that I might gain the weak. >> I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. And this I do for the gospel sake, that I might be a partaker thereof with you. Know ye not they which run in a race run all, >> but one receiveth the prize? question mark. >> That's a question. >> Everybody gets confused. You're thinking, "You going to heaven? That mean I ain't going to heaven?" >> No. Listen the rest of it. He just said above it said, "Save some." But one that receiveth. So run that you may obtain. >> Why? Because if you'll run, every man that striveth for the mastery is tempered in all things. Know they that do it to obtain a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible. So therefore, therefore, so run not as uncertainty, so fight as one that beatth the air. But I keep my body under my body and bring it under subjection, lest that by any means when I have preached to others, I myself become a cast away. I I can't help but just kind of squeeze that in there. And I know there's we've got some theologians here tonight, but it's a thing where he says, "I'm going to run that many people." If you run for the right reason, >> more people win the race than just you. >> Why you run is more important than how fast >> or how I don't care if you skip. >> Just keep running. It don't matter if you're limping. Keep running. It don't matter what it looks like at the moment. You run. And why you run is the focus. Why you Why you run. Run for the prize that you may save some. Hear me tonight. You don't stop running for revival. It takes people >> all being a part of the and we're all we're all playing a part. And I've really noticed that if you instead of you beating yourself up with the people that won't buy in and run the way you run, if you just let people be faithful, there's a balance of pressing while Paul still writes about being content. Yes. >> Can't always be running on ragged. There's got to be a time where we celebrate the why. >> Are you with me? >> So, you get in a place because what I realized in the in the years that I've grown up in a pastor's home is those people who weren't really anxious to get off the porch, when it's their kid, >> they all of a sudden are sitting there on a rocking chair with you. >> They're all of a sudden getting with the preacher. They're all of a sudden in the prayer room. Why? Because something's lost in their family. >> And and if you you could just the the Bible says that he was a great way off. >> A great way off. Now I don't have time. I'm going have to move quickly. What does that tell me? That tells me that he ran probably more than once. >> That tells me that he ran when he didn't even recognize him. >> What does that tell me, brother Fallon? I'll run for your kids. >> I'll run for your prodal. >> I'll run for the addict. I'll run for the the father. Don't just get off the porch for what's his. The father got off the porch anytime somebody come over the horizon. We'll run for anybody that wants to be saved. That's why I believe that the word of the Lord says the eyes of the Lord run to and fro looking for somebody who's looking for truth. If you're looking for truth, he's looking for you. If you made up your mind to come home, we ought to be looking for the lost. >> He was a great way off the eyes of the Lord. Lord, let me see what you see. >> I believe, however, within this story, nestled within it is a deeper meaning even to the crowd and the religious people and the sinners that Jesus is speaking to in this parable. There's a ceremony in the Jewish culture called the kaza. The ceremony was a first century Jewish communal act used to publicly shame and ostracize a person who had brought disgrace on their family, particularly by squandering an inheritance among the gentile people. It was the offender who would attempt to return into the village and the community would gather at the edge. They would run to the opening of the village and they would grab a clay pot and they would run and they would meet the prodal. They would meet the lost and they would say, "This is what you are to us." They would run to reject them. >> You're not welcome here. You wasted your inheritance. You no longer come in here. You go back to the pig pin. You don't belong here. You took what was ours and you squandered it. We had an inheritance and you wasted it. So when Jesus tells the story, >> I know I've read it. I've preached it. But perhaps it wasn't that he just lifted up and ran ran and and lost his dignity for a moment. Perhaps Jesus was telling that story to let him know that the father is going to outrun You got a world that's running after say hi. No, no, no. You don't get to come back in here. But Paul said there is now for there no more condemnation for the you can come with your condemnation. But buddy, I'm telling you, grace and mercy will outrun you every single time. Why? Mercy is drawing you to repentance. Mercy is the reason you come over the horizon. Mercyy's the reason you're still breathing and the father's going to get there before the condemnation. It's a race, Paul said. >> Run that somebody may win. >> It's a race that somebody that may come in contact with you that's a little weary that their eyes have shifted and they said, "I could even be a servant in the house. I I'm tired of this world. It's seasonally. Seasonally it was fine, but I wasted my living. >> What's this tell me? If the older brother would have got to him first, >> huh? >> Perhaps you never see. >> Perhaps there's never a party. >> Is your church ready for the people that's going to walk through your door? God help us that they don't run into somebody that's not ready for their condition, that's not ready for their brokenness. I know they they've misused the mercy of God. I know they don't add up in all the areas that we want them to add up. But God help us to run to the loss, no matter their situation. Over and over and over again, we see stories it was the crowd of condemnation that got to the woman caught in the act of adultery. >> They brought her to Jesus. >> Throw them pots down. Go ahead, Jesus. >> Give her some truth. Instead, he gave her grace and gave them truth. >> What if What if Judas >> who said, "I've sinned. >> Take it back." >> I don't know if you've ever read it, but there's not a more repentive story than Judas. What if Judas would have ran to the cross instead of a temple full of a bunch of con where did they take that blood money? They went and bought the potter's field. They went and bought the place and said, "We'll bury you. You'll hang yourself out here." Why? Because we reject you. I'm here to tell you under the uncction of the Holy Ghost tonight, the world is going to reject and reject and reject and reject. And there's not going to be anything greater on a Sunday morning or a Sunday night or a Wednesday night when somebody sees a child of God who comes running and they don't have no pots in their hand. They don't have any rejection. They don't have any condemnation. They don't have anything that they want to point or throw to say, "Hey, come to the father's house. We'll throw you a party. Come on in. We'll kill the fat int. >> Let me ask you tonight, is your church running in redemption, >> or is it running with a culture of condemnation? >> Church, we must remember why we're running. If you're running a camera, >> remember why you're running it. >> If you're running the social media account, remember why you're running it. If you're running the sound, remember why we're running it. >> We're here to seek and to save that which is if I'm running media, if I'm running lights, it don't matter what it is. I'm here to advance the kingdom of God. I know. I know it don't always make sense. I'm hurrying. I know it don't always make sense. But I I talk to some people. I go to some churches. I'm thinking this this looks like Jonah, huh? The old comedy. It's like, "Hey, I'm looking I'm looking for the for the house. I'm looking to go one direction, but they're thinking, hey, it's it's that way." Jonah, that the city that you've been called to is that way. Why are you running from it? The only explanation I have is Jonah is just saying, "I don't get why they don't why do they deserve mercy? They're wicked. They don't deserve. Just cuz you don't comprehend mercy don't mean somebody don't deserve it. >> You don't deserve it. I don't deserve it. You better st You better strap up your shoes. And no matter who it is, you're going to run. Why? Because they need the He was a great way off. God, help us to make sure that the road home is shorter than the road leaving. >> They're deconstructing their faith left and right. It's going to take them a long time to tear it down, but in one moment at an altar, >> it may have took you a while to get to that pig pin, but in one day, why? Because there's some pastor, there's somebody that says, "Hey, I I'll be there." There there's a pastor running. There's a student pastor running. There's a kid pastor running. There's addiction recovery program running a bus. >> Why? I'm coming for you. I'll be there whenever your eyes start looking for truth. I want to be in the will of God. Stand to your feet tonight. I'm glad to know tonight that I've gathered at the movement conference 2025 >> and there's somebody running >> for the young in Sacramento, California. There's somebody running >> in Hartsell, Alabama. >> There's somebody running in Brooklyn, New York. >> There's somebody running to the lost. >> That if they're looking for truth, there's somebody looking for them. >> God, lead me to somebody that's hungry. God, lead me to somebody that's looking for truth. >> I can't help but tonight say, I see revival on the horizon. I see prodals coming home. I see a lost world hungry for truth. Hear me for just another moment. We've been praying. We've been preparing. We've been walking on this treadmill of church. A man of God, pastor's wife. Here comes every church represented in movement 2025 running that race that we may save some. We may not save them all, but if they're looking for truth, come on. If you want to accept that challenge tonight, I wish you'd lift your hands and lift your voice and say, "God, I want to remember the why. I want to run to a lost and dying world that's looking for truth." Come on, lift your voice. Come on, lift your voice in this house tonight. Come on, lift your voice. Hallelujah. Walked down the road thinking everyone. didn't think anyone could ever really love her. Through the whisper, she made her way to the well that day. And she couldn't believe what this man had to say. The blood of Jesus that reached way down low and came searching and looking for us and saved us out of our sin. I know I know I'm in a crowd full of good-looking folk, but is there any imperfect people that's here in the room that God had to reach for you and save you and pick you up, but now you can sing, I've been redeemed by the blood of the lamb. I messed up in my past before, but there's some blood that covered that part of my life. Ah, yeah. I just need about a hundred people with a testimony here in the room that will just say, "I've been redeemed. I was the lost son that came back home, but I've been redeemed." I hear some folk with a testimony here in this house. I know you're perfect looking today, but is there anybody in here that would say, "I've been redeemed." There you go. By the blood of the lamb. Can we have church for a little bit tonight? And somebody all across the room just got We might as well have church in here for a little bit. Come on. Is that all right? Everybody got closer. Oh yes, Lord. to a new soul. It's a song with the redee. I was baptized in his name. I got the victory. You might think I'm crazy. I just like it. When I think of how you serve me, I can't help but Jesus paid it all just for you and me. This is my testimony. I've been redeemed. I've been redeemed by the blood of the lamb. I've been set free by the way. I am since you paid it all just for you and me. This is my testimony. I'll be redeemed. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so tonight. I'm dancing to a new song. It's a song of the redee. I was baptized in his name and I got a victory. You might think I'm crazy and it just might get loud. But when I think of how he say, I can't help but shout. I've been on the blood of the lamb. I've been set free just for you and me. This is my testimony. I set free. Oh my Jesus paid it all just for you and me. This is my testimony. I've been redeemed. Somebody in the house that's waiting for somebody to come back home that you ain't seen in a long time. I tell you to shout tonight before they get back to the house and say when they get back they'll be singing a song of somebody just say the praise for me. We going to sing that praise one more time. Are you ready? Here we go. Can we wake you up this morning? Can we start you on your way? Put on your table and all your bills got paid. Get a little help. One more time. said, "I know it was the part. I know it was the part. I know it was the part for me." One day when I was lost, he died upon the cross. I know it was the one that saved me. Somebody shout, "I know. I know. I know it was I know it was for me. He died and died on the cross. I know it wasn't. Come on, church. Sing it tonight. Y'all sing it. I know it wasn't. Y'all sing it. >> I know it wasn't church. >> I know it wasn't for me. One day I was only save me. You save me. You save me. You save me. You save me. You save me. You save me. I know it was one more time. Save me. save me. Meave me out. Me. I got a testimony. I got a testimony. Did he save you? You should have been save you. >> You should have been empty. But he all me. I know it was a that's a good place to praise him right there and just say thank you Jesus. Thank you Jesus from the depths of my soul. Thank you Jesus for my low place. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Lord. What I want us to do right now, what I want us to do right now, I want you, if this is appropriate, if you're comfortable with this, I want you to put your hand over on somebody's shoulder right now because I'm going to tell you what I'm feeling in my spirit tonight. I got my war clothes on. I said, I got my war clothes on. I couldn't help tonight just to feel in the Holy Ghost that it's time for some of you to declare war on the adversary. He has beat you down long enough. He has spoke his lies in your ears long enough. He has told you that you can't have a church. He's told you that you can't win a soul. He's told you that you'll never make it out. Now we got the blood. Now we got the blood. And we got the blood tonight. But I've been on a little bit of a spiritual kick. And that is I thank God for our music. But our music and our singing should not be the loudest thing >> in our church. >> Our prayer ought to be the loudest thing. Are are you ready? Got your hand over on somebody right now. >> I want you to listen to me. If we're going to do spiritual warfare, spiritual warfare isn't praising God. Spiritual warfare is to say, "God, I thank you for how good you've been to me." It's not even saying, "God, I worship you." >> Spiritual warfare >> begins with in the name of Jesus. >> But then it's directed toward our adversary >> who is the prince and the power of the air. >> Jesus, >> in the name of Jesus, >> I come against the adversary tonight. You have lied to us long enough. You have given us spirits of oppression long enough. You have beat us up and beat us down long enough. And tonight at the first night of movement, I bind you in the name of Jesus. I bind you in the name of Jesus. I bind every foul spirit that's got its hold on our church. I bind every foul spirit that's got our hold on a department in our church. I bind every foul spirit that's got a hold on our members. I bind it right now. We are free. We are set free. We're going to walk in freedom. We're going to run in freedom. We're going to preach in freedom. We're going to witness in freedom. Satan, your time is done. I'm going to get my burden back at movement 2025. I'm going to get my vision back at movement 2025. I'm tired of going through the motion and not having the anointing. I'm going to see soul saved. I'm going to see miracles happen. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus, Jesus, I bind the spirit of infirmity. I bind the spirit of of discouragement. I bind that foul spirit that's a product of a foul thought. I bind those spirits that are the product of our thinking. I bind that low-level thinking. I bind that spirit of just getting by. I bind that spirit in the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus, let the fire fall on our churches. Let the fire fall in our ministry. Let the fire fall in our school. Let the fire fall in our church. If you believe that tonight, I want you to shout the name of Jesus. >> Yes. >> Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. We're not breaking any clay pots around here. We're getting them filled with the Holy Ghost. We're getting them delivered. God's going to use you. God's going to touch you. Got my war clothes. Got my war clothes on. Remain standing with me. Several years ago in a restaurant in Knoxville, my kids looked across the restaurant and they said, "Dad, that's brother Jimmy Tony sitting over there." And they said, "Dad, he preached at Youth Congress." And and they told me all about the message. And we went over and we made an acquaintance with brother and sister Tony. And from that the Lord led us to invite brother Tony. They were at that time pastoring that started a church in Lexington, Kentucky. And we invited them to come down and be with us. And a friendship of which I will liken brother Tony and our friendship to Jonathan and David was just a covenant that was made between the two of us. We found it very strange that although we traveled in different organizations and different circles of fellowship that we had a lot in we had a lot in common and how we were raised and our the death of our parents and on and on on and on it went. But you see tonight it's not the different circles you run in. >> It's the message you believe in. It's the message you believe in. He is a visionary. He is a revivalist. He is a man of deep, deep convictions. But he's also a man of deep, deep compassion. Don't you love that combination? >> Some folks have conviction, but no compassion. Some folks have compassion but no conviction. >> God has blessed us tonight with a wonderful friend of this church. And then as he's coming, I want us to give a great hand in just a moment. They're here tonight. Brother, sister Tony are here tonight. Today they are celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary. Would you give it up for brother Tony Gainesville, Florida?
