God - The Miracle Worker

I thought as they were singing that last line and I looked at the singers and then I looked out at this congregation I thought these people know what they're singing about they've experienced what they are singing about he is always on time and he's a great God and that great God In the Flesh in Luke 18:27 said the things which are impossible with men are possible with God and then just before he ascended he said and these signs and he lists several miraculous workings shall follow them that believe

and then he goes on to say what can happen in his name some of the things that God wants to do is reignite and incite a greater faith in his power today that song was doing it the previous song was doing it the previous song to that was doing it that's who we are lifting God he wants us to accept accept his ability and his and then to expect the miraculous he wants us to have and give and praise him for the testimonies of the impossible becoming the possible I feel your agreement today and my title

today is God The Miracle Worker God the Miracle that's right let's praise him today right now Lord we thank you and we do praise you we do Praise You Lord You're The Miracle Worker God bless you and you may be seated sister the late sister Nona Freeman a wonderful missionary her and her husband served the region the continent of Africa here's what sister Nona Freeman said and I quote the Lord wants to take the church from a dimension of exuberance to the dimension of power we do a good job at getting

excited she said and seeing demonstrations and expressions of exuberance and rejoicing but God wants us to also experience demon ations of his power and his hand amen sister Freeman God wants his church to operate in the Supernatural many times we say the greatest salvation and it is a wonderful salv wonder the greatest Miracle is salvation receiving the Holy Ghost sins washed away but then what would beg that and follow that is then why not ask and believe for lesser Miracles healing Deliverance

raising the dead God can still do it listen our culture is pressing in on us and our even our Humanity presses in on us and causes the miraculous to feel like it is Out Of Reach for God's church but it's never Out Of Reach for God he is The Miracle Worker he has miraculous power Acts 2 and22 Peter is preaching and he said Jesus of Nazareth was a man approved of God among you by Miracles wonders and signs which God did by him Matthew 19 and 26 Jesus said them to them with men this is impossible and

many of us as men and women have brought in impossibilities today we're living perhaps you're living right in the middle of what some would say is an impossibility but With God all things are possible but With God all things are possible Luke 137 for with God nothing shall be impossible brother Wayne ly said if nothing or to do nothing is impossible with God then we know it is impossible for him to do nothing when we pray God is going to do something for with God nothing is impossible and because

nothing is impossible with him and folks he has given his power to us do you receive it are you willing to receive it because of that in Matthew 17:20 the last phrase says nothing shall be impossible unto you God do you mean me he's saying yes I mean you Steve wiford nothing shall be impossible unto you Jesus has all power and authority now a miracle is a supernatural act by the will and the power of God which may contrast and will contrast and interrupt the way in which life ordinarily functions

I want to preach I've never preached real long on a uh definition out of Websters but I want to preach on this just a little bit here Supernatural acts that contrast to and interrupt the way in which life ordinarily functions God wants to do some things in our life uh that is going to contrast and interrupt how we thought it was going to work out how you thought it was going to end up the Old Testament definition is a conspicuous sign the New Testament definition says it means there's abundant power

for Force strength and might at work so here's an admonition to today to direct us toward the miraculous instead of seeking a miracle seek The Miracle Worker seek the one who said for with God nothing shall be impossible Miracles sometimes are called signs they're called wonders they're called signs that's what a a sign does is point to somebody so when you have a miracle in your life when we have a miracle in this room today when you have an answered prayer that's a sign and it doesn't point to

us necessarily yes we had Faith but a miracle points to Jesus Christ uh we we believe as a church that he's going to do the miraculous but we are not going to grab any glory for ourself we're not going to take any esteem for ourself look and let the sign Point toward the Miracle Worker I heard brother tww Barnes a wonderful man of God from Louisiana he also has ALS he also has passed but brother Barnes I told him I heard him tell about early in his ministry and God did gift him with the gift of

faith and there were Miracles and signs and healings uh he put up a tent and he was going to travel around so he had a sign made that said Barnes healing campaign and God spoke to him and said who's healing campaign and he was a very forthright man and he was strong in the faith and a strong leader but God just had to correct brother Barnes it's not going to be apc's Miracles we're going to be involved in them it's not going to be the miracle of any person it's not going to be the miracle yes your

family's going to get it but it's because of the who the sign is pointing toward I just tell us today let us seek and let let us worship The Miracle Worker God is Nicodemus said to Jesus Rabbi in John 3 we know you're a teacher come from God here's how we know for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him Miracles help reveal Jesus to Nicodemus Miracles will still help reveal Jesus to people who are in need people who are lost people who are looking for something and they don't

even know what they are looking far in this case Nicodemus who was a member of the Sanhedrin was a Believer Incognito and he didn't want everybody to know how he believed in the Lord so he comes to Jesus by night he was looking and believing Jesus Direction but because of his role in the Sanhedrin he was secretive and had to be hesitant about it or so he thought I want to stop it right now and preach to us today people can be secretly looking your direction people can be secretly looking at your

direction your life your words your behavior but when the miraculous will happen he said we know you're from God we know you're from God and here's the reason he said nobody can do these signs but God and God through you there is somebody that is going to have a witness to them because of your faith and your belief he me somebody I'm just not preaching to the preachers right now I preach to everybody you are a Believer and these signs shall follow those who believe and I know we don't build a church

on Miracles only but it is a factor in gaining interest they make people wonder they make people inquire and then when you merge the Miracles with Apostolic teaching and truth and Holiness lifestyle there's a picture of the apostolic believer I don't want one piece of the puzzle to be missing at APC or in my life I want Holiness I want Apostolic teaching I want Apostolic preaching but I also desire the miraculous I read an article back in February 10 reasons why the Pentecostal church is growing

in the United States written by a man by the name of Joseph Mata he's not a Pentecostal to my knowledge the first one was because young people desire and experience and not just a Doctrine now you got to have both but this Apostolic movement gives an experience the second reason because they embrace the power of the spirit for a witness the holy spirit is a key factor in their growth he said in that paragraph here's the third reason belief in Supernatural intervention that sets the Pentecostals

apart from traditional Christian denominations that tend to downplay our rationalized miracles isn't that a shame I don't want to ever fall into that category where we downplay our rationalized Miracles I believe the Ravens can still bring food like they did to the prophet God can miraculously provide he can provide Finance he can provide groceries he can provide a job it doesn't matter people in Pentecostal congregations frequently testify to personal encounters with the supernatural he said thank

God from healing to prophetic words this kind of faith in God's immediate and active power brings hope to those who are searching for answers beyond the natural realm another reason they're growing he said is a commitment to Supernatural truth of the Bible another one equipped to cast out demons and to break oppression our God is a miracle worker and he can give a miracal Deliverance he did it for Daniel in the lion Den he did it for the three boys in the fiery furnace our God is still a deliverer

he's a miracle worker let's have him and let's have them let's have him the god of the miraculous and let's have them the Miracles that he wants to perform praise God the psalmist said we will not hide these from our children showing to the generation to come the Praises of the Lord his strength and his wonderful works praise him for his wonderful works oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness and for his wonderful works oh praise the Lord and he repeats it three more times oh give praise

to the Lord and in Acts two they said they heard people from other nations and other lands speaking in tongues the wonderful works of God somebody was speaking in tongues today and the wonderful works of God were being spoken in a language that you did not understand I want us just to take a moment I want us to praise the Miracle Worker right now would you just praise The Miracle Worker right now oh yes woo that's beautiful that's beautiful go ahead you know what it's all right if you sing if you

say the same thing over and over again we sing in a song the same lines over and over again we can praise The Miracle Worker we can praise The Miracle Worker I heard this testimony it was given several years ago because of the times but I came across the DVD once again there was a woman her name was Rahab she was from the country of Kenya and we have several folks from the nation of Kenya that are part of our congregation she desired to go to a Pentecostal meeting her mother denied her to be able

to attend the Pentecostal church and she said if you go to that church you are no longer my daughter she did go ahead and braved and she went to the Pentecostal church and wouldn't you know it she was filled with the Holy Ghost she got home and a suitcase was sitting outside the front door when she opened the door mother said where were you she answered at the Pentecostal meeting and God fill me with the Holy Ghost you're no longer my daughter take this suitcase and then the mother pulled out the

equivalent of a nickel and she said just do your best with this nickel if your God's so great let's see how he can take care of you on this nickel she made her way to her boarding school she worked her way through scho scrubbing hallways doing very menual task but every time she prayed she would burst forth speaking in other tongues the school determined she was possessed of the devil they decided they were going to punish the devil so they made her scrub all the more on her knees hurt and bleeding

there came a new head mistress from America notice the girl and the punishment she told the new mistress she said I they think I'm of the devil and because I speak in tongues and these weird languages the mistress started to cry here's what she said I am so hungry for that experience can you tell me how to receive it and she did and the mistress said I'll pay your way through the school she did pay her way through the school she graduated with her teacher's license she became a teacher in the Kenyan

school system she finally decided to go back home and visit her mama when she went back home she walked down that familiar Lane and her mama came to the door he Saidi really glad to see you and that you would come home Rahab pulled out a little purse she had and she pulled out that same nickel and she said Mama God didn't even need your nickel I don't know what you feel like you're lacking today God does does need your nickel he doesn't need my nickel he doesn't need my ability he can provide he

can put oil in the bottom of the barrel he can put meal in the bottom of the barrel he can make 90% go farther than 100% he's a provider he's a water Walker he can walk on situations he can walk through situations I'm just going to tell you I am very hungry for the miracle working power of the Lord I want to do everything I need to do and I want you to agree with me that you'll do everything you need to do in faith and expectation faith in God believing him that he is able and then expecting we

need to live a life of expectation expecting it to happen that man that lame man by the beautiful gate was expecting something at first it was arms but he got what he was not expecting and God raised that man up when we pray at prayer request time and we have these prayers sister Lyn 's family the tornado victims brother Mike Maguire going through surgery Sister Mary Hutson others that have needs instead of you know many of us are uncertain we it's not unbelief but it's uncertainty that battles

us but we serve a certain God we serve a very certain God and why don't we together and I'm preaching to myself as much as I am preaching to you today why don't we expect God I think we can help one another I I'll submit if if some of you now I need to be able to do this on my own but if some of you start expecting God that's going to do something to my expectation why don't we expect you know that name is going off of that list Hallelujah woo take that run of faith brother John Hallelujah God is

able Jason show me that map you showed me The Storm Friday night the star is Jason Britt and Remy's house the green star it's a protecting God and I still believe in his miraculous protection and I want to quickly follow that up with I know that some of you and some of our friend friends suffered some Devastation but we're going to do what we were doing a while ago we're going to pray we may end up giving to make sure and here's what I know if you lost something God is a provider he can replace

it I just want to drop this in I know what I'm preaching for and I also know what I'm preaching against this culture but our god with him nothing is impossible there is nothing too hard for this miracle worker that's it you go ahead and praise God however you want to we're not clapping because of the sound we're clapping because we love and we serve The Miracle Worker at the old old building the one before the building that is there presently at 13 de grao I've heard I didn't see this I wasn't in

that previous building some of you were there were crutches hanging on the walls of people who were healed in the midst of a service praise God you say are you preaching for signs and wonders and miracles and the demonstration you know I sure am right now Hallelujah I remember hearing and I didn't get the name but I remember hearing as a Young Man testimony of a sister being prayed for and the there was a huge growth believe it was on the outside of her throat or neck and that growth just fell off

during that prayer and during that service now you've got a right to look at me with a qual look here's why because we have not seen as much of that as God wants us to see come on trudge up the hill with me I know we're walking uphill a little bit here hallelujah but our God is a miracle worker there is nothing too hard for him I remember hearing I think our children are in here with us today I remember hearing how [name redacted] homman when she was just a young girl about eight years old her mama sister

Susan homman had severe pain in her back and [name redacted] just walked up behind her mama laid her hands on her back and begin to pray I just want to pause right here young people God can use you children children God can use you it does if you have twoyear old faith if you are fiveyear old parents let them pray for you grandparents let them pray for you Susan said I felt relief I felt the warmth go all up and down my back and I was healed from that moment on I see your waved hands out there I see you

waving the flag of faith I feel your heart whoa whoa whoa Hallelujah Pastor he told the story and he preached about the miraculous I watched it last Sunday night when we got home from from being out in Pacific I watched it and I thank God for the man of God tell that story again Pastor the little girl from uh the Spanish church for those that didn't hear little [name redacted] just turned 10 last month that her family had moved here according to their testimony from Guatemala because she had a condition

called toxoplasmosis it had affected her eyesight her right eye would not see straight and it would move from side to side and then her her left eye began to become blurry and the doctors told him in December about 3 months ago she was going to be completely blind uh in the near future and they also said because of the condition she could suffer uh strokes and other very serious ailments so they came in uh uh believe it was in February last month in the middle of the month and they were uh during

that service brother the Robinette preached about the miracle working power of God and she told her mom I want to be healed today and they came up to the front and when they uh had laid hands on her that I was not in the right position but when she opened her eyes she said she felt almost a a popping sensation and she opened her eyes she could see straight and the glasses she was wearing had to be taken off she can't wear them anymore it's about a month later and that eye is still the way that it's

supposed to be and the blurriness is gone woo that happened right here just last month he still a miracle worker with God nothing is impossible about that same time last month in a c crusade in Thailand they had the adults in one place they had a Children's Crusade thank God for save our children it's sponsoring those Crusades and we heard about it today and we're going to give to it in the future future they had several two in the Children's Crusade 238 children received the baptism of the Holy

Ghost there were 141 notable Miracles and one of the Miracles happened to a young girl who was seven or8 years old an insect had lodged in her eyeball the doctor do s were reluctant to act for fear of causing further damage she prayed this is the Evangelist report she prayed during our kids Miracle service placing her hand over her eye and she prayed that little seven or eighty old prayed in the name of Jesus and the insect came out in her hand that's worth a praise that's worth my faith Hallelujah

don't you believe he can still do it woo he can replace an eye if he needs to I didn't get it all from Dad so I won't even try to go into it but there was someone a relation to brother Walter Gwyn that God replaced that eye praise God he is a miracle worker it makes me want to say brother John that's worth another run Hallelujah lift your handle do it lift a hand and do it oh no he's going to go ahead yeah Hallelujah I tell you to you you you and you nothing is impossible nothing is impossible we're

came out of that Pew there was no particular direction to do what she did but she came out of that Pew and started running the auditorium running the circumference of that Auditorium praising God and magnifying God and from that listen this is encouragement to obey God today from that moment on depression left that closed in I tell you our God is a miracle worker I'm GNA I'm going to be open and transparent with you today God spoke this message to me at least two and a half months ago and I was

like Moses that make that doesn't make it all right it just gives me a buddy in doubt and I said God that's not my wheelhouse I'm not a miracle Faith preacher oh yes I am if I'm a Bible preacher I'm a faith preacher I don't have to specialize it in it God's the specializer Hallelujah got any rivers you think are uncrossable got any mountains you can't tunnel through God Specializes in things thought impossible and he can do and he can do and he can do somebody ought to come on and get your answer

and he can do what no no other power can do nothing too hard for the Lord go ahead sister Brandy take your faith go ahead folks I'm not I'm not telling you we all got to do this but this should not be an odity in Pentecost somebody coming down out of their Pew saying I want healing Church go ahead and respond you may see somebody up here with a need or somebody between the chairs in a need yes yes yes yes that's it there's a spirit of prayer here right now all over this building where two or three

right now I believe in our praise to you on February February 12th the Wednesday last month I became very ill it was the flu it ended up being flu a very sick that day Thursday I began to improve throughout the day but in the evening sometimes I know that this happens evening I began to feel worse I went in about 11:15 or 11:20 into the kitchen to take some of the meds that were prescribed I sat down at the table began to feel very uneasy and when I woke up my head was on the table water was on

the floor out of the cup that I had knocked off that I was going to take the meds with Becky was in the other room and I called for her and she came I felt like I wanted to make it to the restroom and as we began to walk down that Hall she said that I began to lean very heavily toward the wall and but between the wall and her got me to the floor with the second pass out in just a few moments from about 1120 to 11:30 we called EMS and uh they thought and we thought and I didn't want to go to the

hospital I didn't deny that but thought it was flu related and so the next morning get a call from the heart doctor's office they said did Steve Pass they called Becky did Steve pass out last night and she said yes twice and the nurse named the time 1120 11:25 Becky affirmed yeah he did asked out she said I haven't talked to the doctor yet but here's my instruction you need to go to the emergency room immediately and I think the doctor is going to want to put a pacemaker in well those nurses know

what they're talking about she was exactly right I didn't wake up that day thinking I'd end up with a pacemaker now here's the this is the miracle I'm claiming as well as being preserved three years to the day February 14th because I had some of those spells of passing out in the pool pit and other places had the what they call an implantable loop recorder placed in they put in a little syringe and just shot it in was a little capsule you could hardly tell it was in there I couldn't feel it it would

record we were trying to catch what's causing these sinkle be spells what's causing this to happen they told me when they put it in they said now this will last for three years and and we will monitor it for 3 years that was February 14th 2022 I had the pacemaker on February 14th 2025 I had the spell just inside the window of when it would expire I just deduced from that God's not done with me yet God knows how to do it right on time I said right in the Nic of time perhaps 30 minutes inside the

window when the reporting God's Not Forgotten you God has heard your prayers God has seen your faith how many want to see I'm not even going to look I just want God to see it how many want to see more of the miraculous brother John just told me he said pastor we need it we live in such a day of deception We need oh would you praise The Miracle Worker another time praise him praise The Miracle Worker God you're the one that did all these testimonies you're the one that have performed all of those
