Summary

Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.

Focus on the Healer: The Creator Who Heals What He Made

  • The message is healing — physical, spiritual, emotional, and mental — and faith is already present in the service: God has given everyone a measure of faith, and you do not have to see him to believe in him.
  • Believers are urged to recall an experience when God answered a prayer — a healing or any other answer — and to thank him for it as the focus stays on God the healer.
  • The universe's design points to a Creator that atheism cannot explain away: he quotes an article in which former atheist scientist Allan Sandage says there has to be some organizing principle, and Harvard physics teacher Michael Gillian calls the universe the work of a master artist.
  • Greater than the creation is the Creator — and the Creator is the healer of what he has created; one of his Old Testament names, from Exodus 15:26, is the Lord who heals: "I am the Lord that heals you."

Scriptures: Exodus 15

Celebrate the Healing, but Keep the Focus on the Healer

  • In Luke 19 the crowd rejoiced and praised God for all the mighty works they had seen; this congregation is encouraged to do the same — give thanks and celebrate healings while focusing on the healer, the great physician.
  • Healing prayer should be crafted with the right motives: first, that God gets the glory; second, for personal relief; and third, so the healed person is better able to serve God, family, and the kingdom.
  • Asking for healing is not selfish or self-centered when the asking gives preference to God the healer.

Scriptures: Luke 19

An Apostolic Distinctive That Does Not Exclude Medicine

  • The manifestation of God's healing power is an apostolic distinctive, and belief in divine healing does not exclude the medical world: God put natural healing in the body, and the medical professionals in the service are stood up and thanked.
  • At the hospital bedside of brother W. C. Parky, who was blaming his serious heart condition on a lack of faith, the doctor corrected him: God gives the wisdom, his faith was enough, and the doctor is "just an operator of what God can do."
  • A quoted article defines divine healing as God directly intervening to restore physical, emotional, or spiritual health, and singles out Pentecostal and charismatic communities as especially believing it; the preacher says this church is keeping that distinctive.
  • The article's poll says 66 percent of American adults believe people can be physically healed supernaturally by God, split between agreeing strongly and believing somewhat — but the preacher rejects the maybe: God is a healer in the present day.

Tell It Over Again: Testimonies of the Healer at Work

  • From an October 1972 article by global missions director Harry Sisum: a man in northeast India, bitten and wrapped by an 18-foot python, was left paralyzed from the waist down; when a visiting revival team explained that Jesus could heal him and prayed for him, he immediately stood up and walked, and many in the village believed and a great revival followed.
  • In 2016, Sarah Dennis's deformed hand was healed when Javin Maguire crossed the room to pray for her; the preacher urges that such testimonies be told over and over again.
  • "If you have it, he can heal it" — he deliberately avoids calling a sickness "mine," choosing instead to talk about his healer and his experience with his healing power.
  • The belief is anchored in the church's own confession: the United Pentecostal Church manual's articles of faith affirm the divine healing power of God with scripture after scripture — not a man-made doctrine, but one the church functions with.

Promised in the Word: By His Stripes, Health Restored

  • Isaiah 53:5 is a prophetic promise spoken some 700 years before Jesus: "With his stripes we are healed" — trust the Word over the stories and statistics, because the healing anyone receives today is promised in those words.
  • Jeremiah 30:17 is to be taken personally: "I will restore health unto you, and I will heal you of your wounds" — a promise covering spiritual, physical, and emotional healing alike.
  • Emotional scars can be as debilitating as physical wounds, and one can affect the other; God is asked not to make people forget, but to help them forgive, because forgiveness releases the healing that unforgiveness blocks.
  • Sister Esther Chambers, after months of depression, came out of her row into the aisle one Sunday morning some 35 or 40 years ago and began running, and somewhere in the steps of that run God delivered her — so do whatever God asks you to do.

Scriptures: Isaiah 53; Jeremiah 30

He Sent His Word: Hearts, Cancer, and Deafness Healed

  • On doctors he is in their corner: if you are going to the doctor, do what he says — yet if God tells you to do something else, you do what God says.
  • He believes in healing with a pacemaker in place: "I can believe in healing with a pacemaker, and I believe God can heal a heart."
  • After a spell in the pulpit, he was told three times at the hospital, "Sir, you're having a heart attack," yet the heart catheterization found nothing wrong, and he believes God intervened; brother Luke Lavine's widowmaker artery was found 100 percent blocked, but three other sets of arteries had formed to supply the blood flow — and he has Chris stand as another witness God brought through a heart procedure.
  • Cancer cells grow and divide without stopping, ignoring the body's signals — but "He sent his word and healed them" (Psalm 107): there is a word cancer cells cannot ignore, and God can heal cancer.
  • Two deaf persons were healed in Hannibal, Missouri, one of them deaf since birth; and Crystal, who kept coming to church with cancer in her body, kept believing — the church will glorify the Lord rather than get mad at God.

Scriptures: Psalms 107

Healing in His Wings, Through Believers' Hands

  • Malachi 4:2 promises that the Son of Righteousness will arise with healing in his wings — "wings" meaning rays, as the sun sends out rays; with the house lights turned off and back on, he shows how limited human help is beside the light the Son of Righteousness brings: there is healing all over the room.
  • Mark 16:18 says believers shall lay hands on the sick — not leadership only; any believer can pray for another, as Susan Holman's seven- or eight-year-old daughter did when she came behind her mother in severe back pain, laid her hands on her back, and prayed, and Susan felt warmth and the healing touch of God and the pain was no more.
  • His wife Becky, suffering a severe headache along with back pain, went and prayed for sister Linda Clark when prayer for one another was called for — and as she began to pray for Linda, God took her own pain away: "These signs shall follow them that believe."
  • The call is to activate faith now — not to spectate and not to question worthiness: follow the Holy Ghost, and let concern for others cultivate prayer rather than stop at worry, as brother Fred keeps bringing his seriously ill sister and brother-in-law before the Lord.
  • A closing word from the Lord: trust his love before you trust his power, for he loves you with or without the disease — able to take it away, and able to take you through it; and if the answer does not come as expected, keep believing, for by many or by few the Lord is still able to help.

The message today is healing. Healing. Now God and brother brother Walmart just said it a few moments ago. There is such faith present in this service today which is not unusual. God has given to all of us according to scripture a measure of faith. It's here today. Part of the evidence of that is not only what we're feeling but what we're doing. You have prayed to, you have worshiped, you have sung about a God that most of us have never seen. Now, some may have had visions of him, but for the most part, I can't say that I have ever seen the Lord, but you don't have to see him to believe in him.

You don't have to see him. It's a wonderful experience. It must be a wonderful experience to see him, but you don't have to see him to believe in him. So, I want to encourage you today to continue to do. And if you have not started as yet, please would you join us? Focusing on God and allowing your faith in him to flow and be active. Let me say this again. Would you just begin to focus fully on God and then to allow your faith about him or in him to flow and be active?

We have to be intentional about this. I I'm going to have faith. I'm going to believe God. And he can do anything. But today, the focus is on his healing power. And I'll quickly say that can be physical, that can be spiritual, that can be emotional and mental as well. So if you need healing in any area, our God is the healer. I would also encourage you to think of an experience in your life when God answered a prayer for you. Uh it could be healing and that would be good.

But any other prayer answer that you had, any kind of a prayer answer from God is an encouragement to our life and to our faith. Uh and not only think about it, thank him for it. Hallelujah. That's all right. Take a take a few seconds here and thank him for whatever you're thinking about that experience of healing or blessing or answer or provision. Whatever it is, the focus is on God today, the healer. The universe's design points to a creator that atheism cannot explain away. an American scientist who was a former atheist.

His name was Allan Sandage. This article was just on the Fox News internet site earlier this month. Here's what Mr. Sandage, the former atheist and still scientist, says. I find it quite improbable that such order came out of chaos. There has to be some organizing principle. In other words, there has to be a creator. Now, I think we ought to say that, but it's one thing for me to say it. It's another thing for a former atheist who is still a scientist to say there has to be some organizing principle and he was talking about God.

In that same article, another man, Michael Gillian, who has a PhD, he taught physics at Harvard, he was the science editor for ABC News Network and had won several Emmy awards. Here's after years of being an atheist for whom he's talking about himself for whom science was God and the cosmos was a miraculous accident. I now know with equal certainty our universe too is a work of pure genius. He sounds like David in this part of the article. When I contemplate life, when I look at the night sky, the precision and improbability of the vital signs that define the cosmos, my reaction is crystal clear and supported by the latest scientific evidence.

I perceive not the throw of the dice, but the hand of a master artist. Hallelujah. I'm going to tell you, creation is wonderful. And they are still figuring out and finding new parts of our universe and parts of life. I'll tell you what's more valuable and more important than the creation. It's the creator. The creator. I It blows my mind when I read about the universes and all that is in the universe and how the order of things and if we were any closer to the sun, we would bake to death.

And if we were any further away, we would freeze to death. That's the hand of a master artist. I thank God for his creation. But I thank God for the creator. And we can and should be thankful for it. Some of you may have seen what they call the body display. It was at our science center some years ago. And I tell you what, when you walk through that display, if you can come out not believing in God, you've got a lot of faith in something because it's what we are fearfully and wonderfully made just to be able to breathe what we take for granted so much.

Just the capillaries and the veins in our bodies. Oh, I thank God for how he and it's wonderful how he created us. Uh, one little glitch and it all goes away. But you know who did that? What the writer said, what the article said, the hand of a master artist, the creator. I tell you, he's the creator and he is the healer of what he has created. One of his Old Testament names is Jehovah Raa. It's in Exodus 15 and 26. At the close of that verse, he said, "I will put none of these diseases upon you, which I have brought upon the Egyptians, for I am the Lord that heals you." I want to get a little witness today.

You can do it by lifted hand or you can do it by your voice. However you want to do it. Do you believe in the healer and healing? Focus today on the healer who is Jesus Christ. In Luke 19, when the crowd was worshiping him, it said they began to rejoice and praise God for all the mighty works that they had seen. I want to encourage this congregation today and I'm going to do my best to join you. Give thanks and celebrate the healing itself, but focus on the healer that we call the great physician.

Give thanks and celebrate. In fact, start it while I'm preaching. Healing times that you've had, start thanking the Lord. You can whisper it and he'll understand it and hear it. I pray I pray that that rockets of thanksgiving are going up. If we could see it with our visual eyes, I believe it'd be like fireworks. There comes one from over here. There comes a praise from healing. There's There's one over there. Hallelujah. There's another one over there. There's another one over there. SEND UP YOUR THANKSGIVING TO THE LORD.

Send up your praise to the Lord. That's right. Thank him. Worship him. Hallelujah. I believe it's enough to stand up about. Those folks didn't just Those folks didn't Oh, I didn't mean to do that. But that's all right. We're not only going TO SEND UP FIREWORKS, WE'RE GOING TO GET UP AND SAY, "GOD, YOU'RE WORTHY OF THE GET UP. I'm not going to preach the rest of that page you just did. You may be seated. I'd like to do just a little instruction right here. When we pray for healing, here is our context.

Here's why. Here's our motivation. God, we want this healing for your glory. Secondly, God, we want to need this healing for our personal relief, right? Yes, he has, brother Tim. He's helping me. So, our motivation is for God's glory. And then our motivation is for our personal relief. And here's another motivation. Because we will be better able to serve God and our family and the church and his kingdom when God heals us. So it's not self- aacing. It's not selfish. He wants us to ask, but it's not a self-centered asking or a self-regarding only when we ask for healing.

There are people all over this building that need some kind of a healing. You are not being selfish when you ask for that healing, but ask for it so that God gets the glory, you get the relief, and that you're better able to serve God and the kingdom. Craft your prayer that way because that gives preference to God the healer. I will give you a little context as to what prompted this message or one of the things that prompted this message because the manifestation of God's healing power is an apostolic distinctive and distinction.

God's church still believes in healing. And I want to just stop and pause and thank God for all of the medical professionals and personnel. If if you work in any form of the medical world, doctor, nurses, staff, EMTs, would you just stand for a moment, please? Because healing does not exclude that. Just stand. That's right. Give them a hand. Thank you all. Stand. Just remain for a minute. Just remain for a minute. We believe and thank God for these people. Belief in healing does not exclude the medical world.

Sometimes some people think you got to have either or but God put natural healing in this body and they know how to help us administer it. I was standing by Thank you all. You may be seated. Thank you for what you do. I was standing by the bedside of brother WC Parky and he had a serious heart condition and he was beating himself up saying I don't know. I must not have enough faith. I must not believe God enough. I must not trust the scriptures enough.

And the doctor came in. So I just stepped back and I offered to leave. They said, "No, go ahead and stay." And the doctor heard brother Park talking at brother WC Parky, brother Brian Parky's father saying all this and he said, "Hold on a minute, brother Parky." Now I never corrected WC Parky, but the doctor did. He said, 'Hold on, Reverend Parky. Who do you think gives us the wisdom? He said, 'You've got ENOUGH FAITH AND YOUR God is great enough and I'M JUST AN OPERATOR OF WHAT GOD CAN DO.

There is healing in this body. I THANK GOD FOR THE MIRACULOUS INSTANTANEOUS HEALING, BUT I THANK GOD WHEN HE HEALS A CUT ON MY ARM. God's healing power is an apostolic distinctive. I read this article. Here's what it said. beliefs in divine healing that God directly intervenes to restore physical, emotional, or spiritual health. There's those three areas again. And we're on that today for for some reason because not only are the physical going to be healed, but God is going to heal the emotional and the spiritual emotional spiritual health, especially within Christians tradition.

I love this. such as Pentecostal and charismatic communities. They picked us out. They said, "A lot of Christians believe, but especially, I want that especially to remain on Apostolic Pentecostal Church. We're going to keep believing in divine healing. We're not going anywhere off of that. Woo. THIS IS AN APOSTOLIC DISTINCTIVE AND THIS IS AN APOSTOLIC CHURCH. HALLELUJAH. HALLELUJAH. YEAH. Here's what he said. Divine healing is both a point of unity and debate among Christian denominations. We're not debating today whether we believe in healing. It's a done deal.

I said it's settled. Are you with that, church? I don't want you to lie now. It's it's a done deal. We believe in divine healing BECAUSE WE SERVE THE DIVINE HEALER. IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF YOU, JESUS. It's all because of you. 66% says the article of American adults believe people can be physically healed supernaturally by God. That's a pretty good number. I like that twothirds. But a further question kind of divided that 66. 33 agree strongly and 33% believe somewhat. Other words, maybe. There ain't no maybe, baby.

I said there ain't no maybe, baby. He's a healer. He can heal in 2026. Come on, somebody. HE'S A HEALER IN THE PRESENT DAY. I read an article that brother Harry Sisum, who was our global missions director, wrote several years ago. He's he's since passed, but this was in October of 1972. Yeah, back there where the dinosaurs were. And well, maybe not. One of the village men in northeast India in the interior region went to the river to wash. While he was at the river, a huge 18 ft python bit his foot and then began to do its deal of wrapping itself around him.

Now my point is this was 54 years ago. He called to the fellow workers in the rice field, but they were far off, too far to hear him. Finally, the python began to wrap itself. The man tried to get a hold of the tail as it did to bend it. He did with all of his strength, and the python released just a bit. But the sism said, by that time, the other men did hear his cry. They began to try to pull the snake off of him.

They did and they killed it. When the man was free, he fell immediately to the ground. He was completely paralyzed from the waist down. He couldn't walk or stand. He was carried to his village and laid on his bed day after day. Two weeks after that happened, one of our apostolic churches, a church leader, Brother Leatherzong, and his revival team arrived in the village on their preaching tour. Jesus took preaching tours. As soon as they got to the village, they were told about this incident. So, they went to that little bamboo hut where that man lived.

They found him quite helpless on that little bamboo bed. They explained to him that Jesus was able to heal him and they prayed for him. And as they prayed for him, brother Sisum said the divine virtue of G I feel it right now. I'm reading it. The divine virtue of Jesus flowed into that man's body. He immediately got up from the bed, stood to his feet, began to worship and praise the healer. He began to walk around completely healed. And because of that healing, many in that village believed on the Lord and there was a great revival.

One of the answers to revival is GOING TO BE APOSTOLIC MIRACLES that happen at Apostolic Pentecostal Church and other places and it's going to get the attention. Sister Sarah Dennis, this is more recently 2016. She's seated over her over here on this side and her hand was very deformed because of a situation that had occurred. And on this side was Javin Maguire. And God spoke to him to go and pray for Sarah. I remember seeing him go across the building and make his way right over here to where Sarah was seated.

and he prayed for her. And by the time that prayer was done, I see people nodding your head. You remember the incident or you remember hearing about it. We've told it over and over and over again. I think we ought to tell it some more. We ought to tell it some more. And just recently, she posted another picture. I want to say to Sarah, "Keep posting it. Keep telling it. Tell it over again. TELL IT OVER AGAIN. SOMEBODY NEEDS TO TELL IT. I'M TELLING SOMEBODY. YOU NEED TO TELL IT OVER AGAIN.

66% BELIEVE. 33 agree strongly. I don't mean to put you on the spot, but how many agree strongly? Folks, WE EITHER DO OR WE DON'T. But we do. I SAID WE DO BELIEVE HE'S A HEALER. I heard one old preacher say, "If you have it, he can heal it." If you have it this morning, he can heal it. I try to avoid saying terms like my cancer. Now, was it in my body? It sure was. But I don't want I want to talk about my healer.

I want to talk about the experience with his healing power. And maybe that might help somebody. I don't care what it is, a headache or whatever. I know it makes sense and we've all done it. So, I I'm not I'm not being harsh here. I'm just saying go claim it. Admit it. Accept it. It's not mind over matter. We're not pretending we don't have it. But if we have it, he can heal it. If I have it, he can heal it. If I have it, Hallelujah.

Hallelujah. He can heal it. I'm thankful we're in the agree strongly category and I look to our into our UNI United Pentecostal Church manual and on page 47 it starts there and it takes up a lengthy spot. There's a place in there in our articles of faith that says we believe in the divine healing power of God. And there are scripture after scripture after scripture. That's where we get our belief right here. It's not a man-made doctrine. It's a man functioning doctrine. We're going to function with it.

And God wants us to pray and believe for healing. Isaiah 53 and verse five, the last portion. With his stripes, thank you Ben for getting that up. With his stripes we are healed. A prophetic promise that Isaiah gave some 700 years before Jesus. The way he describes the healing power of God in Isaiah 53. It's almost like he was writing it after it happened. But he wrote it 700 years. God said, "I want this world to know that I'm a divine healer, and I'm going to take stripes uh for your healing." That's a prophetic promise for somebody today.

The healing that you I want to just make this really personal. The healing that you can receive is promised in those words right there by his stripes. I've quoted statistics. I've given you stories and testimonies. I may give you a few others, but here's what to trust. Trust this over this. And if this is saying this, trust it. I Jeremiah chapter 30 and verse 17. This is a promise. This is God. It's writing to the people of God in the Old Testament, but it's applicable to us today.

Just take it personal. I will restore health unto you. Just read it as though the Lord was just saying that to you. I will restore health unto you and I will heal you of your wounds. Now, this was more in its context more a reference to the spiritual healing that they needed. But God can promise and do both spiritual and physical healing and emotional healing. So he is saying to somebody in this room, God led me specifically to this verse. I will restore health unto you.

If you need a restoration of something that is lacking in your physical body, I don't know if more cells are needed. I don't know what it is. If ligaments need to be strengthened. I don't know if a bone needs to be straightened or if a bone needs to be lengthened. Oh, you're getting out there a little bit, Bishop. Yeah, I'm on I'm on a limb. I know it's attached to the true vine. You're always safe when you're on that limb. Take it, somebody. I will restore health unto you.

I will heal you of your wounds, saith the Lord. And then there are also emotional scars in this room right now. Those can be as or more dehabilitating and in fact one can affect the other. But Jesus, in your name right now, I ask you to heal the emotional wound. God, I don't ask you to cause us to forget it, but I ask you to help us to forgive it. And that forgiveness is going to release a healing. Don't let unforgiveness stand in your way. Forgiveness is going to release the healing that you need.

One Sunday morning, a good sister in the church, Sister Esther Chambers. Some of you, few of you remember Esther, the wife of Brother Jackson Chambers. This happened about 35 or 40 years ago on a Sunday morning. They were sitting right over here on what was the left side, the left row of pews at 13 the gravoy and she had been suffering from some kind of depression. I don't know all of the details about it but it was quite different. She was a different lady. It still touches my heart.

I'm going tell you the heart of a pastor. I It makes I'm stopping and thanking God for Pastor Brad Del Long right now. God anoint him if he's in the pull pit right now. If he's getting ready to go to the pull pit, I'm going tell you, I can still hurt for Sister Esther Chambers and of course the family. And it went on for a good period of time. I can't remember how long it was. It was months. She did still continue to come to several services.

But on a Sunday morning, there was a move of the spirit of God. That's one thing about APC. It's part of our DNA. This church has always been sensitive to the flow and the move of the Holy Ghost. And it's happened today. I don't have to talk about history only to talk about what has happened today. When you all were singing, I watched people trying to sing about how great our Lord is. And it was like they could not say it deep enough, loud enough, forceful enough.

Oh, I thank God to go to church with that kind of people. That is something to clap about. All of the sudden, Esther Chambers, comes out of that row into the aisle. No warning. It surprised everybody but God. and she takes off running around that book. And somewhere in that step in that run, God delivered her. Fact, I wrote in my notes, it was almost as though she was comeomaosse, but could still operate and move and live and come to church. But all of the sudden, you know, God may ask you to do something.

He may ask you to dip in Jordan seven times. He may say, "Get over there where Simon Peter's shadow is getting." Somewhere in the steps of that run, God heaven reached down and were mental pro were medical probes could not get and were good medicines could not and did not reach. I don't know what God's going to ask you to do today. And I'm not talking about being stupid or silly, but I'm talking about obeying God right now. I don't know what God is going to want you to do.

Hallelujah. I'm sure Davida, he's he's pretty human. J not God. Well, that's another topic. We battle it. You want relief today? Do whatever God tells you to do. Follow whatever he says. I'm I'm gonna preach about the doctors right now. I'm in their corner. If your doctor tells you to do something and God tells you to do something else, you do what God says. I'm about to stop because I'm not pastor right now. But if you're going to the doctor, do what he says. I'm a little tentative about that.

Is that all right? I'm going tell you it is right. It may not be all right. It is right when they called that next morning and wanted to put this pacemaker in. Well, if you believe in healing so much, why you got a pacemaker? I don't know. How you like that for a theological answer? But I can believe in healing with a pacemaker. And I believe God can heal a heart. You be the judge whether I had enough faith or not. You go ahead and grapple with that.

I'm not going to. I'm just going to say I know that God can calm a heart murmur right now. God can open up veins. when I had one of those spells I had in the pulpit the very first time went to the hospital. Drew, I thank God for you. You're the reason I went to that hospital. This is on obeying medical people. When he said, "I think you ought to go." He just knelt down, said it very quietly. I didn't let him near the microphone. He wasn't trying to get it.

All he had to do is say that sensed it for me. I'm going. And when I got there, they told me there I had a heart attack. My middle name is Thomas. I said, "Would you say that again?" I didn't want to I didn't want to be telling any false stories. when I told it like I'm telling it today. Would you say that again? Again wasn't enough. He said it three times. Sir, you're having a heart attack. But folks were gathered out in the lobby waiting room.

My wife said she heard people praying. You heard brother Luke Lavine pray God reversed this. They went in and did a heart cath. Nothing wrong. I believe that God intervened and just recently he has been suffering with heart blockage. One the main one. What do they call that? at the widowmaker 100% blocked. So they went in and when they examined three other sets of arteries had formed and was getting the adequate blow blood flow to the area that it was needed. Now that's not the first time I've heard of that happening.

But I'm going to tell you, God knows how to take care of us. I'm not going to tell God how to do it. God, it'll only be a miracle if you open up that block widowmaker. No, if you want to create, there's only one that can create other vessels. There's only one that can divinely, let me say it that way, divinely create other vessels without the hand of a doctor. That God is in this room right now. And right now, I love you, but I rebuke the fear that is on somebody for the heart condition that may be there.

I want somebody, Chris. Chris, would you stand with me, please? Would you stand? God touched this man and brought him through a heart procedure. And I I'm having him stand because I want somebody else standing WITH ME THAT GOD can heal a heart condition. And you don't have to stay down if you don't want to. There's another witness. Hallelujah. I read the definition of cancer. They said it's where, this is a very simplistic and there's many other things to it. where abnormal cells grow and divide without stopping and it can spread to other parts of the body.

So normal cells grow and divide when they're needed and they die when they're old, damaged, or not needed. That's normal health. Cancer cells ignore signals to stop dividing or to die. They keep making new cells when the body does not need them. The Bible says he sent his word and healed them. Psalm 107. He sent his word and healed them. I know a word that cancer cells cannot ignore. I know a word that they have to obey that say stop dividing. Let's make new cells that are needed.

Blood cancers like leukemia build up in the blood. But oh, the blood of Jesus. And that cancer can be as disobedient as it wants to to any one of us and medication. But there's a voice that they cannot ignore. I'M PREACHING THAT GOD can heal cancer. You may have never had it, but you believe it. Woo! I'm going to tell you, it's happening all over the place. Two persons in Hannibal, Missouri on Sunday night, August 2nd, 2020 2026. I've told some old stories. There's some new ones, too.

Two deaf persons were healed. One of them had been deaf since birth. God can heal deafness. And I thank God for these folks, Sister Caress and the team that minister until God heals. And I guess if anybody had an excuse not to come to church, well, I can't hear anyway. But here they are with faith. Here they are. They're not letting death stop them. Don't let your sickness stop you. I know there comes times when you physically cannot get here, but if you can get here at all, get to the house of God.

Crystal, you kept coming with cancer in your body, but you kept coming and you kept believing. We're not GOING TO GET MAD AT GOD because some things happen in our life. We're going to glorify the Lord. I said WE'RE GOING TO GLORIFY THE LORD. Bible says he's coming with healing in his wings, the son of righteousness. Guys, you can probably find it quicker than I can. Malachi 4:2. I'm about done. But unto you that fear his name shall the son of righteousness arise with healing in his wings.

The translation of the word wings there is rays. That's what the sun does. Send out rays. That's what's h the son of righteousness is shining in this house right now. Hallelujah. Jace, you guys, I'm taking you by surprise back there. Uh, turn the lights out, would you? All of them. As many as you can. Somebody over here went like this. I'm going to preach quick. She's going to sleep. Now, there's a little bit of light here, but I have to strain to read my notes. Somebody saying, "Thank God.

Those of you near those little side spotlights, you could probably read something if you strained hard enough. Not that fine print Bible. You ain't reading that. Those of you here in the middle, you young guys, young ladies, you probably can do some reading. But this is what human help can do. It's limited. Turn them back on, guys. Put those on, too, guys. The son of righteousness shall rise. Better than this light that we're seeing right now is what the son of righteousness has done in this room.

He can get to everything. A doctor can only get to one at a time. A nurse can only get to one at a time. But I'm going to tell you, everybody that can read can read now because the son of righteousness. Here's what I'm preaching. There's healing all over this room right now. Stand with me if you would please. The Bible says, you know what I thought about doing? I'll just do a little preacher admission here. I thought about buying 20 bottles of little oil and going to people beforehand and giving them oil bottles and saying, "When I get to this point in the message, you go pray for somebody." But I felt a little check about that.

I thought the Bible says Mark 16 down in 18, they shall lay hands on the sick. He's talking about believers like us. Now, I believe it's appropriate to have leadership pray for you. But it's also appropriate to have another believer pray for you. Susan Holman told that story being in severe back pain and [name redacted] when she was a little seven or eight year old girl. She knew her mama was in pain. She came in behind her and laid her hands on her back. And Susan said when [name redacted], seven or eight year old, began to pray, she felt a warmth and the healing touch of God through her body and she was healed.

And that pain was no more. My wife told me sometimes we doubt if we can we can pray for somebody or we can be healed because of some of our you know if I'm sick the devil tries to tease us with this and distract us said if I'm sick if I got if I got a pacemaker I can't pray for everybody's heart condition. Oh no, you ain't stopping me. You hear me? Devil, you can criticize me all you want to and so can anybody else, but I'm going to believe the healer.

The healer. So my wife, she told me this happened some years ago at the old church as well. She said prayer was being made and they asked us to pray for one another and I think it was was it back pain you were suffering with pain? Oh headache severe headache and uh along with that back pain she went and prayed for sister Linda Clark. I don't know if something was said, pray for one another, whatever. But for some reason, Becky went to pray for Linda. She said, "As I began to pray for Linda, God took that pain away that I was suffering with.

These signs shall follow them that believe." So, you really don't need a bottle of oil. And I'm going to tell you where healing is going to come. If those rays I don't see anybody with their umbrella up today to keep the sun off of you. We haven't needed the umbrella for rain. We've needed it for the sun the last couple months. But I don't see any any umbrellas. I implore you today, let the healing rays of God's power and maybe you will be one of those extensions of one of those rays when you reach over and pray.

Follow the Holy Ghost, okay? Follow the spirit of God. And God, the devil is probably not going to tell you to go pray for somebody so God gets glorified. Duh. Two and two make four, right? If you need healing, you can receive it. And I'm not going to give any specific instructions. I know that always helps. But you can stand in the aisle. You can come up here. You can go to the a brother or sister if you need healing or if you want to extend the raise of God and be an extension of faith.

You know sometimes when we get tired enough of pain, we get hungry enough. Beck fixed supper the other night. I was in the middle of something. She did have to call twice. That's unusual. But I was hungry. I said, "This can wait right here." How hungry are we? Being straightforward today. How hungry are we? I'm surprised somebody's not already moving out. It's a little though I'm comfortable right now. I know I am, too. Non didn't wait for somebody else to go dip in Jordan. Now, he had an issue with it, but he didn't wait.

We're not going to be spectators today, folks. I'm asking for every believer in this room. I'm asking you to activate your faith right now. And don't you question about whether I'm worthy or whether I'm not. If you've got God, you've got what it takes. I want you to believe God. Begin to believe God. I'm going to tell you, it took something for these people to step down here. Some of them are some of the most reserved persons in their personality. Hallelujah. You don't have to have any kind of a special spiritual heritage to be a believer.

Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Sickness can't stay any longer. Your perfect love is casting out fear. You are the God of all power. If it is your will that my life is here. Sickness can't stay any longer. Your perfect love is casting down fear. You are the God of all power. Yes. And it is your will that my life is healed. Sickness can't stay any longer.

Your perfect love is casting out fear. You are the God of all power and it is your will that my life is healed. Sickness can't stay. Sickness can't stay any longer. Thank you, Lord. Your perfect love is casting down here. You are the God of all power. It is your will that my life is here. Nothing is impossible for you. Nothing is impossible. Nothing is impossible. You hold my world in your hand. Nothing is impossible for you. Nothing is impossible. is in my sle. You hold my world in your hand.

I believe you're my healer. I believe you are all I need. And I believe you're my portion. I believe you're more than enough for me. Jesus, you're all I need. I told brother brother Fred I just needed to to tell this when I just shook his hand. He said, "I'm really worried about your sister and your brother-in-law both. very serious conditions. It's only right to be worried or concerned. Okay? I told him, I'll tell all of us because we all feel those concerns. But just please hear me as an apostolic preacher, don't leave it at that.

Fred's been doing it. We've been prayer meetings, personal conversations. He don't let it rest. He keeps bringing them before the Lord. God didn't intend for us to worry about it and leave it at that. Amen. He knows we're going to be concerned when we should be concerned. In fact, concern can breed and cultivate prayer. But what we do with the concern, don't let it swallow you. Don't let it override you. But be concerned and pray about it. I want all all over this house, anybody that knows anything about prayer, I'm going to ask you to unify it.

There's something about unity. There's something about unity. Unified prayer. I'm going to ask you to pray for the healing flow of God. Not just here, but it's going to go out of here. It's going to go to people you're you've thought about during the service that need healing emotionally that need a relationship that needs to be healed. Would you pray? Would you let out your voice that that don't don't be mely mouthed here. Come on. We need to pray. These are serious situations. God, his sister and his brother-in-law and the other needs that are here.

Oh Lord. Oh God. Yes. Yes. Yes. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I believe you are all I sing it. I can't make it more than a song. You're my healer. I believe you're my portion. I believe you're more than enough for me. Jesus, you're all I need. I believe you're my healer. I believe you are all I hear. You sing it all over this place. Make it more than the last. I believe this is how I am God. You're my forune. My fortune. I believe you're more than enough for me.

Jesus, you're all I need. Hallelujah. Nothing is impossible for you. Nothing is impossible. Nothing is impossible for you. You hold my world in your hands. Nothing is impossible for you. Nothing is impossible. Nothing is impossible for you. You hold my world in your hands. Nothing is impossible for you. Nothing is impossible. Nothing is impossible for you. You hold my world in your hands. I believe you're my healer. I believe you are all I need. I believe you're my portion. I believe you're more than enough for me.

Jesus, you're all I would somebody out there link up with those that are still believing and praying. Would somebody else That's right. That's right. Reach with your spirit right now. Oh yeah. Oh yes. the healer. Yes. Hallelujah. Yes. Jesus. Yeah, that's it. Go ahead. Go ahead. Let that out. Let that out. Hallelujah. I tell you, the enemy don't understand what I'm singing right now, but God does. Jesus. Let there be no doubt. I love you. I love you in your pain and sickness. I love you enough to heal you.

And I will love you if the pain and the scars are allowed to remain. Trust me and my love. Trust my love. You must trust that love before you trust my power. Because understanding my love for you will release that power in your life and I am able to take it away and I am able to take you through it. But always remember I love you with or without the disease saith the Lord. Hallelujah. Jesus. Would you praise him another time right now? Would you really praise the Lord?

And it doesn't take a prophet to know this. Just takes some time of experience. When we do not get our healing in a service like this or our answer, the enemy will use that. You had the right kind of faith of this or that or this or that. I feel the Holy Ghost helping us get ahead of him right now. He's not as great as God is. And sometimes we need to be careful what we say cuz he's not omnicient either. So if it didn't come as you expected, I'm going to still believe God.

It may happen for me and it can and it's going to happen for others. And so I'm not letting doubt don't let it stop you. Don't let it stop you. No. These kind of sermons can get used in multiple ways. And he is crafty and knows how to use them in the wrong way. But if God directs, I'm preaching this one again. Not until he tells me to. But how many got healed the last time you preached that, pastor? None. Well, I don't know. Maybe somebody did.

But it doesn't matter how many or how few. Man said by many or by few, the Lord is still the God of Israel and he is able to help us. Thank God. Thank God. Thank God. We believe he's a healer. Amen. We believe he's a healer. We believe he's a healer.
