Summary
Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.
Why Father-Son language? Two things, not three — and Daniel's given kingdom
- His subject, in a detail maybe not considered before: build your understanding of the Oneness of God so that in a Bible study you can explain the way of the Lord more perfectly to a seeker — the morning session's burden (Bishop Gleason) being essentiality: we don't only get our methods of baptism from Scripture, we get every method of doing church from Scripture. The question: why does the Bible use Father-Son language? Open the epistles and the apostle writes, by the Spirit: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. If there were a Trinity in the Scripture he would want to believe it; he can't find it anywhere in the Bible. Read through a traditional lens — developed by philosophers long after the Bible was closed — and distinction automatically reads as distinction of persons. We don't believe in a distinction of persons; we believe in a biblical distinction.
- The greetings name two things, not three: they are about how grace and peace get to you. God has to do it ethically: a holy and just God must always do what's right — if you couldn't trust Him on sin and punishment, you couldn't trust Him on salvation and grace. Sin must always be judged and punished. The good news: from creation God didn't leave Himself a loophole; He stepped into creation to take the punishment of your sin and mine Himself — so we don't only get God, we get the Lord Jesus Christ, the man God became, who took our punishment on himself, not themselves. It's the only way to get grace and peace. This language is about the glory of the Incarnation: high-priestly language — the man as intercessor. We do believe in a distinction: of roles and offices and manifestations. Only one of the two distinctions is biblical; don't quote Philippians 2 in half — "every knee would bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord" — finish it: "to the glory of God the Father," because there is only one way to come to the Father, through the sacrifice of the man; we talk baptism in Jesus' name because only through the watery grave in that name do you get the work of the man.
- Daniel 7:9-10: I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of Days did sit — His garment white as snow, the hair of His head like pure wool, His throne like the fiery flame, His wheels as burning fire; thousand thousands ministered unto Him, ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him; the judgment was set and the books were opened. Verses 13-14: one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, came to the Ancient of Days, and was GIVEN dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages should serve him — an everlasting dominion that shall not pass away. Now the Trinitarian problem, stated plainly: every mainstream Trinity teaching holds the three persons co-equal, co-eternal, co-substantial — same substance, same power, from eternity past. If they are co-equal, how can one person be given something he already possesses? The backstory is Adam and Eve's high treason in the garden: Paul says in Romans, to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are — they yielded their delegated dominion, which is why the Bible calls Satan the god of this world; Psalm says the heaven of heavens is the LORD's, but the earth He has given into the hands of the children of men — and in their rebellion they ceded authority over the shaping of the world to Satan. That's why Jesus didn't call Satan a liar when he offered the kingdoms: it was true. So God answers legally: He steps into the arena Himself, born in Bethlehem — Jesus Christ manifested in the flesh to destroy the works of the devil — and this Son of man is given a kingdom because he comes as an obedient servant. It's what God purposed as deity but could only accomplish as humanity. In Daniel there are two figures, not three.

Revelation 5: no man was worthy — the Lion who is the Lamb
- In John chapter 1 you have the Logos; after the prologue, "logos" never appears in the Gospel of John again — because the Logos is on display: the Lord God, Jesus, walking around in flesh, showing humanity its true potential as servants of God, the light shining in a darkness that could not stop it. Revelation 5:1: John sees in the right hand of Him that sat on the throne a book sealed with seven seals, and a strong angel asking who is worthy to open it. The question of the Book of Revelation is who is worthy — to open the book, and of worship; the theme is that there is only one. Verse 2-4: no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book — highlight MAN. It's not "God the Son"; it's the Son of God. One of those is a biblical phrase; the other was invented at a church council 200 years after the close of the New Testament. John wept because no man was found worthy. God said: when I can't find an intercessor, I'll come Myself — but He couldn't come with fanfare to be crowned king; He had to come as a humble servant, because in that role He was going to bring about the kingdom.
- The elder answers: the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed. How can He be out of Judah and yet be the Root of David? Two roles: He is deity and He is humanity — every Trinitarian admits this figure is Jesus. But verse 6: what John actually sees is a Lamb as it had been slain, standing, with seven horns (all power) and seven eyes. Is that the literal picture of "God the Son" we're going to see in heaven? No Trinitarian will say yes. These are metaphorical pictures, in Daniel 7 and Revelation 5 alike: He is the Lion BY being the Lamb — the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, who becomes King of Kings and Lord of Lords. If hell had known who He was, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory; Calvary was hell's worst day.

Passages of identity and passages of distinction — one God, 8,000 times
- Epistemology: how do we know what we know? About church work, we study the word of God, understand it correctly, and practice it — Bishop Gleason's point that morning. About Jesus there are two types of Scripture, and people who love the Lord must not dismiss either. Passages of identity: Jesus shown as the Father incarnate — He said, it's the Father in me that doeth the works. Not the second person indwelt by the first (it gets crowded in Jesus), especially when Ephesians 4 says there is only one Spirit — and Paul complicates it further: Christ in you, the hope of glory. Now all three are in you, but there is only one Spirit. That's not a problem for us, because we read distinction the biblical way: what He intended as Creator, He purchased as a man, and He applies by His Spirit — the old-timers' formula: Father in creation, Son in redemption, Holy Ghost in application. Passages of distinction — Daniel 7, Revelation 5 — show what God did as humanity.
- Underneath them both: Deuteronomy 6:4, the Shema — Hear, O Israel: the LORD (Yahweh) our God is one. God is one over eight thousand times in the Old Testament alone. He never said "one substance"; He said one Yahweh — as if saying there's one Matthew. By the time you reach New Testament distinction you cannot make Him three persons; you can say He operates in different roles — He became a man. That's the distinction.
Scriptures: Ephesians 4; Deuteronomy 6:4
Revelation 1 settles it: the Son of man IS the Ancient of Days — and God was in Christ
- Get past the kindergarten "yes it is / no it's not" by letting Scripture interpret Scripture: the Bible is the only perfectly correlated book in the world because it really has only one author. Find a New Testament passage representing the same scene: Revelation chapter 1. One like unto the Son of man — but then the description: clothed with a garment down to the foot, girt about the paps with a golden girdle; His head and His hairs white like wool, as white as snow; His eyes as a flame of fire; His feet like unto fine brass burned in a furnace; His voice as the sound of many waters; His countenance as the sun shining in its strength. Every Trinitarian commentary will tell you: this is the Ancient of Days. And He says: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore — and I have the keys of hell and of death. His Bible-college mentor witnessed to Donald Barnhouse Jr., the Presbyterian minister, who then taught his own congregation from Revelation 1 — a Presbyterian teaching Oneness clearer than some apostolics: the Son of man and the Ancient of Days are united in the person of Christ. The distinction is about roles, not literal persons.
- Shorter still: 2 Corinthians 5:19 — to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto HIMSELF. Write in your Bible: not themselves. God is a Him — a singular One, not a Trinity.
Scriptures: Revelation 1; 2 Corinthians 5:19
Philippians 2: Adam, the servant, and the name — the hymn of what God did as a man
- The close is Philippians 2:5-11, one of about half a dozen christological hymns — songs of the early church quoted in the New Testament, older than the letters themselves; for Paul to write it to Philippi, they had to already be singing it. The academic world outside our movement now says the same: these hymns celebrate the Incarnation. Father-Son language is intentional: it's about your priest, the Son of man as intercessor. You could not approach a holy God on your own without judgment; but if you die with Him in repentance and are buried — not with a them, with a Him — in baptism, then holiness can come to you and not judge you: Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins — remit it, not just forgive — and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. The covenant background is the cut covenant of the ancient Near East: walk between the halves and say, may I be like this sacrifice if I disobey. All we like sheep have gone astray; we should have been our own sacrifice; our righteousness is as filthy rags — we needed somebody else's righteousness, our disobedience paid for by an innocent life. Behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world, saying: I've paid the price; now come and stand with me in a new covenant in my blood. That's why nobody gets to mess around with Jesus-name baptism: there is only one sacrifice, only one name; neither is there salvation in any other.
- The hymn has two critical images: Adam, and the suffering servant — Isaiah 51, 52, and 53: wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquity, the chastisement of our peace was upon a HIM — not upon a them; that's why we don't baptize in the titles; we baptize in the name. Adamic Christology is Paul's contrast of two Adams: Romans 5:17 — if by one man's offense death reigned by one, much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ (not my righteousness — His). 1 Corinthians 15:21-22 — since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead; for as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. Verse 6: who, being in the form of God (morphe — the equivalent of the Old Testament demuth, likeness), thought it not robbery to be equal with God. Don't make every passage show Jesus as God; this is a passage of distinction: as Adam was created in the likeness and image of God, so was Jesus — He had to be, to be our substitute; it had to be like for like (to which of the angels said He at any time, Thou art my Son? An angel is not like you). Verse 7: but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant. Pride and arrogance are sin; He couldn't seek self-rule like Adam did. That's the messianic secret: in Matthew 8:4, Mark 7:36, Mark 8:30, Mark 9:9, Luke 5:14, Luke 8:56 — he heals somebody and says, tell no man; they disobey him anyway. Why? He came to make of Himself no reputation; He had to be the innocent Lamb. He couldn't run around saying, worship me, I'm God — He came to operate his humble humanity, to serve and do the will of His Father. John 16:25: these things have I spoken unto you in proverbs — paromia, veiled speech; but the time cometh when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall show you plainly of the Father. Not of the Trinity — of the Father: you're going to know it's Me.
- What he was born with was one thing; he had to obey: he took the form of a servant. Your own study list: Psalm 22, Isaiah 49, Isaiah 50, Isaiah 52:14-15 — the Messianic King ruling through suffering; how could they miss him? The temptation was precisely this: I'll give you all the kingdoms, and you don't have to suffer to rule — but that would have been rebellion against the will of God, like the other Adam. Verse 8: and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross — a stair-step down, folks: God became a man — that's a step down because He loves us; then humbled Himself further; further still, obedient to death; even the death of the cross. The foot-washing is the same posture: Peter recoils — you're my Lord, you're not going to wash my feet — and Jesus says, if you don't let Me serve you, if you don't let Me wash you, you have no part with Me. Why wouldn't you let Jesus wash you and come to the waters of baptism in Jesus' name? Peter: Lord, then my head and my hands — I'm all in. He said, no — it's sufficient; I know how to get you saved, Peter; just let me be your Messiah.
Scriptures: Isaiah 51-53; Romans 5:17; 1 Corinthians 15:21-22; Philippians 2:5-11; Matthew 8:4; Mark 7:36; Mark 8:30; Mark 9:9; Luke 5:14; Luke 8:56; John 16:25; Psalm 22; Isaiah 49; Isaiah 50; Isaiah 52:14-15
Highly exalted — one throne, one face, one name
- Verse 9: wherefore God also hath HIGHLY exalted him — highlight it. Dunn and Cullmann both note the word (huperupsosen) is double emphatic: exalted, but higher than ever before. Play out the co-equal Trinity: God the Son draws the short straw, goes and does all the work, and comes back — but not to where He was; He's higher than ever before. You can't do that with a co-equal Trinity. This distinction is about the man: Jesus is now in a place no other man has ever been — not even Adam, who had some dominion; this man has an everlasting dominion — the mediator of the New Covenant. Verses 10-11: that at the name of Jesus — Yahweh has become my salvation — every knee should bow, of things in heaven and things in earth and things under the earth, and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Ask your Trinitarian friend: will God the Father be in heaven? Will God the Spirit? Then they're going to bow to the name of Jesus. And why "to the glory of God the Father" — why not God the Trinity, why not God the Spirit? Because there is one God and Father of all — and that God became man to make us co-heirs of covenant with Him. Where you could not stand, you can now stand: the apostle John says, as he is, so are we in this world; Paul says in Romans 8:29, whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. He's the first of a kind, and I have a doorway into new life. First Timothy 2:5: For there is one God — good to know Paul was Oneness — and one mediator between God and men: underline it: the man Christ Jesus. He's the one that says, come, stand with me.
- John 14:6: Jesus saith, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father — not the Trinity — but by Me. You can't make Jesus a liar; carry that burden without arrogance. And what will you actually see when you get to heaven? Billy Graham's pastor, W. A. Criswell — leader of the Southern Baptist Convention when it had 16 million adherents — in his book Heaven, interviewed by Paige Patterson: when you get to heaven, what you're going to see is Jesus. John 1:18: no man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son (monogenes huios) — not the critical text's "only begotten God"; you cannot have a born God; that's heresy. Once God became incarnate in Jesus, He's never becoming un-incarnate again — even Billy Graham's pastor thinks so. Revelation 5:13: every creature heard saying, Blessing and honour and glory and power be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb, for ever and ever — distinction, yes. Then Revelation 22:1-4: a river of the water of life proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb — two, but not persons: roles. There shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and HIS servants shall serve HIM; and they shall see HIS face; and HIS name shall be in their foreheads. The throne of God is also the throne of the Lamb — which is why you can boldly approach the throne of grace. Why all this Father-Son language? Because what God could only do as a man had to be lived out — and He loved you enough to come. He closes in prayer: every good and perfect gift comes down from the Father of lights; we owe You everything, Jesus.

God bless you I appreciate gonna work on that hugging thing love brother wisdom well good afternoon man if you were not in that morning session was it how many of you were in that morning session wasn't it rich wow thank you Bishop thank you for challenging us to be Apostolic and to embrace everything that the word says we don't only get our methods of baptism from scripture we get every method of doing Church from scripture and I appreciate it so much brother Gleason's a rich word and pointing us that way I I want to try to do something today we'll see I want to deal with something a little particular on B your understanding around maybe the Oneness of God in a way maybe that you haven't considered in details I I get to teach in Indiana Bible College again 16 weeks to talk about the Oneness of God with ibc students and brother Gleason over train them no no we're going to train them to go put into practice what they understand so hopefully I can build something into your understanding so that when you're in a Bible study turn to your neighbor and say that's you you can explain the way of the Lord more perfectly to someone that's a seeker and so I want to try to do that today and we'll see if this will cooperate I may be in trouble oh there we go I want to answer this question why does the bible use father-son language why is it when you open the Bible like in the greetings in the Epistles the Apostle writes by the spirit of God he he writes Grace be unto you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ how many have ever read that and go hmm okay I'm you know I'm I'm really honest I want to believe the truth I I believe this if there was a trinity that was in the scripture Brother Martin I would want to believe it I just don't see it I I can't find it anywhere in the Bible and I'm going to try to calm down and go slow today some of you all were like release bad Bobby I can't do that pastors coming tonight so I'm gonna try to stay on track and teach a little bit but when you look at the scripture how do you get Grace and peace now if you come from to the Bible with a traditional lens with a lens that has been developed Again by philosophers long after the Bible was closed in terms of God's revelation then you you will see distinction and you will automatically assume that that's distinction of persons but we don't believe in distinction of persons and I'll I'll prove that as we go along and well brother Kevin if that's the case then why are these types of greetings in the Epistles well let me help you a little bit and then I'll dive in and try to stay on task well what that would look like is why does grace and peace come to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ so if you take notes in your Bible you should write next to that that's two things not three things it's not about a trinity brother wisdom it's about how Grace and peace gets to you and God has to do it ethically for instance if a holy God brought Grace and peace to you alone Brother Martin he would be an unethical God because a holy God and a just God must always do what's right if you couldn't trust God on sin and Punishment you couldn't trust him on salvation and Grace so God must always do what's right sin must always be judged and punished the good news is is that God didn't leave himself somehow a loop from creation he stepped into creation to take the punishment of your sin and my sin and now we can have Grace and peace because we don't only get God we get the Lord Jesus Christ the man that God became that took our punishment on himself not themselves I'm trying to behave okay so that's what great turn to your neighbors say it's the only way to get Grace and peace so the reason this language is in scripture is about the glory of the Incarnation it's high Priestly language and I hope I can help you to highlight some messages so again as you're sharing the truth with some friends and I hope you're making friends I appreciate it I'm going to get stuck here brother Gleason but I appreciated that so much we gotta Reach people and and and and not just people that are lost into paganism we need to do that in the the devastation of sin but also people that love the Jesus love Jesus at a certain level of their understanding and we got to get them to the spirit of God will then guide them to all truth that's the promise of what God is about now if God's about that you can be on the side of that but you got to equip yourself to explain the way of the Lord more perfectly so I want to try to help you with that so what is that high Priestly language well we're going to look at a passage and I'm going to hopefully talk some of you who have a museum for a Bible into turning it into more than just something to look at but something to use I want you to highlight a little bit if I can talk you into that forgive me if you don't do that write severe notes or something I don't know all right and and then it's about the man as intercessor so I want to I want to prove is basically that we do not believe in a distinction of persons we believe believe in a Biblical distinction so when you're reading your Bibles I don't want you to get Holy Ghost hiccups in your devotions like brother Burns we quote scriptures in half sometimes that every need would bow and every tongue would confess it Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father go ahead and finish that verse because it's the language of incarnation it's the language of priesthood it's the language of essentiality there's only one way to come unto the father and that's through the sacrifice of the man how many of you glad you know that you have an advocate with the Father the man Christ Jesus that's why we talk about baptism in Jesus name brother with them because there's only one way to get to the father you got to go in the watery grave in Jesus name because that's the only way you can get the work of the man now I'm going to try to behave it's hard I love this we do believe in a distinction of roles and offices and manifestation why why choose between them we can't have it both ways because only one of them is a Biblical distinction now I'm going to go to two places I want to go to Daniel chapter 7. We're going to look at a particular passage of scripture about distinction Daniel chapter 7 verse 9 and 10. The Prophet Daniel is riding by the inspiration of God and he says I beheld till the Thrones were cast down and the Ancient of Days did sit turn to your neighbor say Ancient of Days now what I want you to do is I want you to pay attention to the characteristics of the Ancient of Days how does Scripture describe of the Lord God whose garment was as wide as snow the hair of his head was like pure wool and his throne was like a fiery flame and his wheels as burning fire verse 10 says and if I restream issued and came forth from before him thousand thousands ministered unto him Ten Thousand Times Ten Thousand stood before him the Judgment was set and the books were opened now I know already you're going in your mind to the Book of Revelation yeah yeah well let's skip down a few verses we're going to go to verse 13 and 14. And Daniel says I I saw in the night visions and behold one like the son of man turn to your neighbor say whoa two now how many of you are wanting us well I think you're probably a couple of you in the building okay good all right so how many of you have won this all right I'm an ambassadably wonders but I got to make sense brother Fuller of this particular passage of scripture I can't now I'm going to say this as kindly as I can I mean this as kind as I can I'm not trying to be mean-spirited today it's not good for our trinitarian friends to ignore verses right and it's not good for Oneness people to avoid verses either so what we have to do is say we can make sense of all of the revelation of God because we believe in biblical distinction okay now let's let's talk about what that means they're going to son of man it came with clouds of heaven and came to the Ancient of Days and they brought him near before him now I don't know if you highlight in your Bible but let me let me try to do this slow enough for you to grab it and there was given him dominion and glory in a kingdom turn to your neighbor say given now here's what I one of my tasks today I got to teach you a little bit about the trinity because if I don't teach you about the Trinity you can't tell when your friend's cheating because depending on which six versions of the Trinity we could talk about today all of them have this basic element that all of the all of the people that believe in the Trinity today at least you may have some spurious really weird views that no one else would endorse that that's something else but all of them would say that each person of the three persons in the Trinity God the Father God the son God the Holy Spirit they're all co-equal co-eternal co-substantial so what does that mean brother kill one of the same substance they all have the same power and they they're all from eternity past now here's the problem brother martin if they're co-equal that means they have the same power so how can one person in the Trinity be given something he already possesses all right we're gonna talk about it because well help me Jesus I don't want to go too far Lord help me stay on track now no what does that look like brother it looks like this that Adam and Eve committed high treason in the garden and they rebelled against God and Paul says in Romans though you're not whom you yield your members to obey that's whose servants you are they created high treason in the garden that's why the Bible called Satan the God of this world because they yielded in the act of dominion they yielded their obedience to Hell and Hell became in charge by virtue of being in charge of the people God had delegated authority to so they were in charge so when Satan comes to Jesus and says I can give all these kingdoms to whoever I want Jesus didn't say you're lying bro not that he's a bro you know I'm not Mormon you know Mormons do believe Jesus is the spirit brother of Lucifer that's kind of weird just a thought it's kind of weird Okay so what he would say is okay no no Jesus didn't say you're lying he said I understand that that's true because Psalm says the heaven of Heavens are the Lords but the Earth as he committed into the hands of the Children of Men and in their Rebellion they seeded authority over how to shape the world to Satan now how many of you think the devil's doing a pretty good job through his agents what Paul calls in Ephesians the spirit working in the children of disobedience I'm just going to tell you that's not the only game in town I wish I could preach there but I'm going to leave it alone Hallelujah baby Pastor you could take that up and preach that hell's not the only thing in town and what that means is God is using your ob so what God is saying is is that Dominion being prophesied here this son of man is going to be given a kingdom why because he comes as an obedient servant God God says I'm not going to let death and Hell have the last say I'm going to legally step into the arena I'm going to be born in Bethlehem why Jesus Christ is Manifest In the Flesh to destroy the works of the devil that's why he came by the way that's why you're still here but I'll leave that alone and he says all people Nations and language should serve who not them him and his Dominion is an everlasting Dominion which shall not pass away and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed now now what I want you to observe as is is this a trinity turn to your neighbor say nope tell them say only two things say not three things okay so what's going on it's clearly what Daniel is prophesying about that moment that all of creation has been waiting on for God to step in I I love the songs they were singing about his own right arm I'm like man you're going to make me run a house if you're not careful which is rare for me Hallelujah just so you know I I love Jesus and I love to but I'm just rare for me brother Burns that's what he'll do it and and it's about what God did as deity and what God did as the man Jesus it's what he purposed as deity but what he could only accomplish as Humanity that's white man I'm trying not to say too much it's so dangerous so that's why in Genesis or sorry in John chapter one you have the logos in my pronouncing it okay thank you thank you very much you got the low guys you got the loss being discussed and it's logos and and wish we had time to deal with how that reflects the Hebrew word there but I'll leave that alone for your own Bible study but after John chapter one logos never appears in the Gospel of John again see if I'm right okay why because the logos is on display the Lord God says Jesus walking around in flesh showing Humanity what their true potential is as Servants of God he's the light that shines in the world and the Darkness can't comp could not stop it flipping on the light to show us what we can be in Christ so who is being pictured in this particular passage in the Book of Daniel it's interesting can do it oh well there we go okay all right you got the Ancient of Days and like I said we've looked at the characteristics I just want you to note them His Garment was as wide as snow the hair of his head was like pure wool his storm is like a fiery flame we see all these things and I've highlighted them for your for you to see and then the second thing we get is the son of man now what is the characteristics of the son of man he came to the Ancient of Days like we've already said it was given him a kingdom and they're going to serve him and it's going to be Eternal Kingdom now I don't have time to deal with that I just I'm trying to not say too much today we're commanded to serve God by the time you get to the end of Book of Revelation there's only one throne and one sitting on the throne we're gonna look at that now and and I don't know for the life of me how my trinitarian friends make sense of only Jesus being the one that they should serve and having the Eternal Kingdom because it's not about that type of Distinction this man has what only a man could have dominion and we'll we'll talk about that so I would say okay is it to my friends is this a literal picture of Heaven my wonderful trinitarian friends maybe I'm talking to Mike serblan my Presbyterian friend or Mother Catherine my Eastern Orthodox friend they would say yes Daniel 7 is a picture of heaven and and Oneness people would say no it's not a picture of Heaven it's I guess it is no it's not yes it is no it's not and you're like can we get past this kindergarten level of conversation to something else and so yes we can do that how do we do that so it would be something like this you would just say can we find a new testament Passage that will ultimately represent the same thing so open your Bible to Revelation chapter 5. Here's where I want you to do a little work in your Bible turn to your Bible say your Bible is a toolbox turn to him say it's something to be used not just look dad okay good all right so Revelation chapter five verse 1 the Bible says and John is writing he says I I saw in the right hand of the end that said on the throne a book written within and on the backside silver Seven Seals and a strong angel proclaiming with the loud voice who is worthy to open the book I wish we had time to deal with that the question of the Book of Revelation is who is worthy and both to open the book and who's worthy of worship and the theme of Revelation is there's only one okay so in the Bible and look what the Bible says and now I don't know if you highlight this is where I want you to highlight if you do and no man in Heaven Nor in Earth no under the Earth was able to open the book now look look around now why highlight man because it's not God the son it's the son of God one of those is a Biblical phrase one of those phrases was invented at a church Council 200 years after the close of the New Testament right brother martin we believe this is the man that God would become and the Bible says John saying and I went why because no man was found worthy why do we worship the name of Jesus so much because we understand that God said when I can't find an intercessor I'll come myself there's only one man that was Worthy and if God came to Earth he should have came with Fanfare and we should have crowned him as king man but he couldn't do that brother Paul he had to he had to come as a humble servant why because in that role he was going to bring about the kingdom okay all right now we're going to talk about that all right so help me stay on track Jesus right now what does he say no man was found worthy to open and read the book neither to look there on and one of the elders said unto me weep not behold who the lion of the tribe of Judah the root of David had prevailed to open the book and dilute the Seven Seals thereof now now what does that mean he's the lion of the tribe of Judah the king of Judah so he's out of Judah and he's also the root of David how can he be out of Judah and yet be the root of David you ready because he's got two roles he's deity and he's Humanity the Bible says in verse 6 and I be held and low in the midst of the throne with four beasts he begins to talk about it so let me give you a couple little pictures on this all right so he looks for somebody he needs a man to come he's called The Lion of the tribe of Judah and he's also the root of David every trinitarian that I have talked to will admit that this is about Jesus I've not found a single scholar that would argue anything different or a person on the street now now why talk about that brother killman because the question is is it meant to be a literal picture of God the son in Heaven they would say yeah say okay so he's going to be called The Lion of the tribe of Judah brother Fuller but at the end of the day when I look for the lion of the tribe of Judah what do I turn around and see Aslan forgive the reference this big lion with a man is that what I see no he says I see a lamb as if it had been slain standing that's weird is that the picture of God the son seven eyes seven horns there he is that's God the son you're going to see in heaven I haven't found a single trinitarian yet that would say yes this is the picture of God the son we're going to see in heaven so it's not about that this is a metaphorical picture you ready he's the lion by being the lamb that would strain seven eyes our mission seven horns all power and when he died it's the same land then he becomes the King of Kings and the lord of the Lord you think hell would back up and do Calvary different I'm telling you if they had known who he was they would not have crucified the Lord Of Glory why because Calvary was hell's worst day I'll try to I love this too much but it's a picture it's the same type of picture a contrast of of what it means to be the lion by being the lamb so let's see if I can hurry sister Susie you may have to help me back there okay there it goes okay so in both Daniel 7 and Revelation 5 you would say are they literal pictures of heaven and the the point is a null these are metaphors because the the son of man is given the kingdom he's given it by his obedience behooved him to be tempted in all points like as we are why because he had to be one of us to save us as a substitute to which of the angels He said at any time Thou Art my beloved Son he doesn't say that to Angels why because an angel is not like you it had to be like for like what are you saying brother I'll try to stay on track it's the metaphor of Jesus conquering as the King of Kings by being the lamb slain from the foundation of the world now I'm going to throw a term at you turn to your neighbor say it's just a term epistemology means a study of how we acquire knowledge it means how do we know what we know like brother Gleason was saying today I won't put words in his mouth I'll put this in my mouth wherever you are Bishop how how do you know what you know about church work we look at the Bible that's epistemology how do you know how to have church well we study the word of God we understand it correctly we make sure it's we understand it right and then we practice it that's what we do all right that's what epistemology is so when you're saying how do you know what you know about Jesus that's epistemology you got to understand that there's two types of scriptures about Christ and we can't dismiss either of all of the people that love the Lord we should not be dismissing a revelation from God that he's given us to understand what he did I'll prove it to you like we love passages of identity that's one term for it you could call it many things now what do you mean by a passage of identity brother killman it's it's not just where Jesus is shown as God our trinitarian friends I believe that but you can show where he's the father incarnate Jesus said it's the father in me that doesn't work not not the second person of the godhead according to them brother martin the first person in the godhead getting kind of crowded in Jesus especially when Ephesians 4 says there's only one spirit now I don't have a problem because there's only one God and Father of all who's above all three All In wait I thought the third person of the Trinity was on the inside of me and then Paul complex it makes it even more accomplished brother Burns he says it's Christ in you the hope of glory it's really getting crowded in me now I got all three of them but there's only one Spirit that's not a problem for me that's not a problem for you because we're looking at distinction the biblical way what he intended as Creator he purchased as a man and he applies by his spirit I wish I had time I love it when Old Timers used to do that father in creation son and Redemption holy ghost in application they just go and go and go brother Mark I love it make me stand up on my feet and speak of tongues Hallelujah I know who Jesus is so we look at Deuteronomy 6 4 Shema Israel Yahweh okay okay all right so hear o Israel the Lord our God is now it's not I know it's it's Hebrew but turn your neighbor say it's fine it's just Hebrew that's he didn't say Brother Martin one year he could have said one substance he said Yahweh it's like saying there's one Matthew there's only one God you can't make that one substance all due respect to my wonderful trinitarian friends why because God is one over eight thousand times in the Old Testament alone he says he's won so by the time you hit distinction in the New Testament you can make him three persons you can say he operates in different roles he became a man and that's the distinction that's passages of Distinction like Daniel 7 and Revelation 5 and it shows what God did as what Humanity all right so let's look at it turn to your neighbors say where's God's revelation all right go ahead and answer sister Aubry where's God's revelation where the Bible that's right in scripture God is self-revealed I'm trying to behave all right now what does that mean oh help me Jesus I gotta hurry faster than that's gone all right is there a place in scripture where we can go for the full to help our trinitarian friends to understand I'm not just reading run Oneness into the Bible all right if there was a trinity how many of you would want to know it if God was really a trinity so how can I make sure because I can see Revelation 5. There's no way to make that God the son no one ever does okay then how do I make sure that my interpretation by the wisdom of Daniel 7 is right well is there a place we can go in scripture to clarify which position is correct because I can say yes it is no it's not yes it is no it's not it's like again can we get past the kindergarten level and let scripture speak the scripture turn to your neighbor say you got to let scripture interpret scripture because the Bible is the only perfectly correlated book in the world because it really has only one author God holy men of holy men of Old Road as they were moved on by the Holy Ghost we don't have time to deal with that in detail so I'll hurry all right so let's go to Revelation chapter one turn in your Bibles no hasten man I'm going to try I'll try to do this quickly we're going to look at Revelation chapter one at a passage of identity and we're going to see how that matches Daniel chapter 7.
So in Revelation chapter one and I've outlined it up there for you it says there was one like the son of man turn to your neighbor say son of man but then notice how the scripture begins to talk about him by the way I had a mentor in Bible College who told me about Donald barnhouse Jr and I own Donald barnhouse's commentary on Romans it's a three-volume set of reprinted it's phenomenal I love it now he doesn't get everything right but it's got great illustrations they're beautiful things in there his son who was in Philadelphia was witnessed to by one of my mentors and and he showed him kind of what the scripture says about the Oneness of God and and he brought in of all things a tape cassette how many of you young people have never listened to a tape cassette yeah I know I'm that old I'm that old you can put your hand up it's fine but Donald barnhouse Jr a presbyterian Minister was teaching Oneness clearer than some apostolics I've heard I thought what God can do with a friendship and so he points out he said there's one like the son of man and then he goes and he's teaching to in his congregation a very Presbyterian very dry way moment like me at all brother Burns he says he's clothed with the Garment down to the foot Gert with the paps with a golden girdle his head and hairs were white like wool as white as snow his eyes were as a flame of fire his feet like unto fine brass as they burned in a furnace his voice was as a sound of many Waters his countenance was as the sun shining in its strength every trinitarian commentary you will read will say this is the Ancient of Days and then Donald barnhouse said he says I am he that liveth and was dead and behold I Am Alive forevermore and I have the keys to death in hell what does he say that that Presbyterian ministers admitting right there that the son of man and the Ancient of Days in Revelation chapter 1 are united in the person of Christ so that distinction is about Rose not literal why because it was John who was caught up into the third heaven and Shone heaven and those other passages and again that's where that passage of identity shows us we're right let me give you another verse maybe to highlight in your Bible second Corinthians chapter 5 verse 19 to wit that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto now I know you're so Oneness you don't even see this kind of stuff but you need to write in your Bible maybe a little note to yourself not themselves because God Is A Hymn a singular a one not a trinity all right so let me let me do this close today that's very terrible to do to you because this is a false close what I want to do is I spend the last bit of our time together if we have enough time I'm going to go through Philippians 2 5-11. Brother Gleason already quoted a portion of this so I just want to hit this and hurry the beautiful thing about Philippians 2 5-11 is but it's about it's about what God did as a man now why point that out again because there's all these passages all over the New Testament John chapter one The prologue we could look at Colossians but I was just urgent to get into all of them but there's about a half a dozen what's called christological hymns now what does that mean christological means a word about Christ it is a Hymn of the early church that is quoted in the New Testament so it's older than the writing of the New Testament because for Paul to write it in his letter to the church at Philippi they have to already be singing the song to recognize it so there's a marvelous Revolution right now that you wonderful apostolics are you don't even really have to pay attention to this but I I will catch you up to speed in academic circles outside of our movement and if you've got a trinitarian friend you can help them by understanding that you're not even caught up with your own scholarship and your own movement yet that will sometimes help them say brother wisdom maybe I need to take this more seriously because they're saying this is all early hymns of the church that celebrate the Incarnation all right so let's look at one Philippians 2 5-11 is about Jesus who is truly God and truly man and again I just want to point out that this father-son language is intentional because it's about the Incarnation it's about your priest it's the son of man as intercessor you could not approach a holy God on your own without judgment but if you die with him in Repentance and you're buried not with a them with a him in baptism then holy can come to you and not judge you repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for remission to have your sins remitted not just forgiven remit it and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost because God loves you enough not to bring it to you in judgment you can cut you ready I can prepare the way John says prepare the way of the Lord make straight his path every High thing be torn down every slow thing be exalted what are you doing that ancient near Eastern road crew is going to bring the king back into Israel but he's not going to come on a pelican where he's being carried and jostle around that means every High thing's got to be torn down you got to say to Jesus whatever in my life needs to go needs to go whatever I have to add I want to add that's called repentance a turn from sin and to God I don't want to do bad things and I want to embrace a newness of Life under your lordship then the king can come but not to your repent and you get that sacrifice that sin issues got to be dealt with I'm trying to hurry brother Burns this is so dangerous like the Hebrew is am I right brother thank you sir I'm going to leave that alone at some point brother Burns why could I breathe because you cut a covenant in the ancient near Easter if you and I are going to have a covenant together here's what we have to do we take an animal Bullock we'd cut it in half sacrifice and all sorts of people lay those two halves we would walk through the middle of that thing and this is what we're saying to each other the highest form of Covenant we can agree to may I be like this sacrifice if I disobey and all we like sheep have gone astray and all of us should have been our own sacrifice as sheep divided but he cut a covenant in his flesh he came down and died in our place and the fact that he died he was able to offer us a covenant that we couldn't get any listen you couldn't save yourself our righteousness is as filthy rags what we need is somebody else's righteousness our Disobedience had to be paid for by somebody else's innocent life Behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world and that lamb is saying I've paid the price now come and stand with me in a New Covenant a new testament in my blood that's why we can't let anybody Mess Around by the wisdom of Jesus name baptism why because there's only one sacrifice there's only one name neither is our salvation and any other name for there's none other name there's no sacrifice there's no lamb outside of the name of Jesus that's why you got to reach and love and teach and explain the way of the way more perfectly is brother Gleason was saying now I have to hurry turn to your neighbor say he's going to try it's an early Hymn of the church let me let me prep it this way there are two critical critically important images in this text you have Adam and I'm going to prove that to you and then you have the suffering servant I'm gonna prove that to you what do you mean by suffering serpent I'm talking about the things that were we could go all over the Old Testament but just particularly you could look at Isaiah 51 52 and 53. That suffering servant who was wounded for our transgressions who was bruised for our iniquity the chastisement of our peace with God was Upon A Hymn not upon them sorry we don't baptize in the titles got to baptize in that name so it was on that hymn and it pleased God to bruise him why because he knew what was going to be accomplished all right so in in this particular passage what Paul does is he picks up what some have acknowledged as a an Adamic Christology turn to your neighbor say another word now what do you mean by endemic christology in his Epistles it's a contrast of two Adams so in Romans 5 Paul again writing by the spirit of God this is revelation it's not rhetorical strategies he he contrasts Adam and Jesus in terms of sin on salvation we're going to look at it in just a moment and then in First Corinthians 15 he contrasts the eschatological difference the eschaton the end but not like over the culmination of all things Lord willing I'm going to talk about that tomorrow the culmination of all things that God can help us be saved and he contrasts the destination if you're on team Adam or team Jesus all right so let's look at it we'll go to Romans chapter 5 verse 17. Well I'm trying there we go again if you highlight in your Bible Paul says for If by one man's offense everybody say distinction see the whole thing about Jesus is what he did as a man by one man's offense death reigned by that one man much more than Paul says they which receive abundance of Grace and of the gift of righteousness not my righteousness but hidden Christ you ready he says shall reign in life by one one what one man Jesus Christ let me give you the versing First Corinthians 15 21 and 22. For Since By Man cometh death not God God was not the engineer of death man disobeyed by one man can death by man came also the resurrection of the Dead why for as in Adam all die even so in Christ shall all be made alive that's why you got to be in Jesus sister Susie or whoever's back there can you help me and just just keep me going advance for me hit that Arrow right thank you that's why as as the bishop already read let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus now here's the hymn who being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God now I won't spend a whole lot of time on there I just want to show you for all of the Nerds in the room like me or wherever you like a little bit of language Hallelujah okay I got one one hand thank you for the burns I appreciate it that gives me permission form the Greek word is morphe is the same equivalent of the Old Testament word likeness demuth now I know I'm going to cross some theological swords here maybe perhaps but again you can't try to make every passage about showing Jesus as God you got to embrace the passages of Distinction this is a passage of Distinction it's saying like Adam was created in the likeness and image of God so was Jesus why because he had to be to be our substitute all right give me give me that next slide but the Bible says he made of himself of no reputation and took upon him the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of men now what did he do he didn't seek to self-rule like Adam he humbled himself he made of himself no reputation why because as a perfect servant of the Lord as a humble man to be our substitute he had to stay in his place that's why he couldn't make of himself no reputation because pride and arrogance is a sin give me that next slide that's why if you look at the gospels in in Matthew 8 of 4 Mark 7 36 8 30 9 9 I know I'm going too fast but for the recording don't try to write them all down Luke 5 14 Luke 8 56 Jesus healed somebody and what does he say tell no man and then what do they do they're disobedient to Jesus I don't know what to think of that other than I know what Jesus was doing he came to make of himself no reputation why because he had to be a innocent lamb all right give me John is that 16 25 give me that next slide thank you Jesus says these things speaking to his disciples have I spoken unto you in Proverbs now that Greek word Proverbs and again there's another Greek word paromia could be translated veiled speech why is Jesus speaking in a veiled way because he has to stay in his Lane he has to be the lamb he's come not to say by the way I'm deity he came to operate his humble Humanity he couldn't run around saying worship me worship me I'm God he had to come and be our substitute he as a human being had to serve and do the will of his father always man I wish I had time so what does that look like brother Killmon he said but the time cometh after my role is accomplished when I shall no more speak to you in Proverbs they'll speech but I shall show you plainly of the father not of the Trinity of the father you're going to know it's me and that's what they're rejoicing in and these christological hymns they knew there was only one God what staggered the New Testament writers the apostles it's that that Jesus who they walked with who was the Messiah they found out later was in fact the one God of the Old Testament incarnate coming to save them that will inspire songwriting probably New Testament brother Gleason talking about methods maybe we should get back to good songwriting that's off bad Bobby page I apologize 2-7 when it says he took upon him the form of a servant what does that mean there's parallelism there in the Greek I'll resist yours to talk about that he had the form of Adam he was a man but he took the form of a servant see what he was born with was one thing but he had to obey I'll prove it to you give me that next slide you you can go look this up on your own time these would all make fabulous Bible studies for you to dive deeply into the word of God and share it with your friend Psalm 22 Isaiah 49 Isaiah 50 Isaiah 52 especially 14 and 15. All describe the Messianic King who would come that is going to rule how through South how could they miss him and and what was the Temptation I'd rather Fuller about what was the temptation of of Jesus when the Devil comes to him he tempts him I'll give you all these kingdoms that's the last trump card I'll give you the I'll give you the ultimatum he's tempting Jesus you can rule over all the kingdoms and you don't have to suffer to do it but the problem is that would have been to rebel against the will of God just like the other Adam and he had to Humble himself and not break Covenant with God I hope man I wish I had time to talk about christology being pneumatology that when we understand Jesus right we can understand our life in the spirit but I'll let you study that on your own verse 8 and being found in fashion as a man what did he do he humbled himself and became obedient unto death even the death of the cross that stair-step parallelism in the Greek it's God make became a man that's a step down folks because he loves us but not only did he become a man like Adam he humbled himself even further and not only did he humble himself he humbled himself even further by becoming obedient to death but not just death even the death of the cross when I think about the Incarnation when they sing about the name of Jesus Brother Martin those kids get up and they begin to thunder the name of Jesus all I can think about is the fact that my Lord loved me enough to stoop and serve if I if I understand and can get a real picture of the Incarnation it's very hard to me to be arrogant around other people because if if like the Apostle Peter who's they're all jockeying for position and they're worried about who's going to be Grace best in the Kingdom the greatest and I want to sit on the right hand and on the left I don't know who was arguing for the left that's a bad place for the wisdom but they're jockey in proposition and what does Jesus do he girds himself with the towel takes the the the form of a doulas a servant the lowest servant in the house because brother Greece and the pastor doesn't and we shouldn't and I don't mean this in any pejorative way the manager of a a restaurant the pastor church don't normally have to clean the toilet anymore if I saw brother Carson going with some things to clean the toilet I'd be like yeah no and that's what Peter does because you're my Lord you're not going to wash my feet and Jesus says if you don't let me serve you if you don't let me wash you Peter you can have no part with me so it's just what you need to say to people why in the world wouldn't you let Jesus serve you why wouldn't you let the Lord wash you and come to the Waters of baptism in Jesus name and let that blood be applied to you like Peter says okay Lord then my my head my hands I'm all in he said no no it's sufficient I know how to get you saved Peter just let me be your Messiah verse 9.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him now if you highlight highlight highly exalted him because you can look up this up on your own James Dunn, a Baptist scholar Oscar Cullmann another great scholar all of them say that brother Shotwell huperupsosen, means exalted highly exalted it's it's it's double emphatic in the Greek highly exalted so he's exalted but he's highly exalted that's higher than ever before if you if we would if let's just say if you and I believed in a co-equal trinity we would say God the Father God the holy ghost or your God the Father God the Holy Ghost this is your son right is this your son oh grandson a friend we'll just make him God the son okay okay all right so you're going to be God the son you draw the Short Straw in heaven you got to go die and we get to we get to chill have it easy but God the son's got to go do all the work now what's the problem if we're all co-equal he doesn't just come back to where he was he's higher than ever before you can't do that with a co-equal trinity are you now listen to me well we'll get there because that what that would mean brother wisdom if he's if Jesus goes down and now he's higher than ever before how do I make sense of that in a co-equal trinity that distinction has nothing to do with the distinction of persons in the Trinity it's about the man how do you know brother killman because that man is now in a place that no other man has been before not even Adam you ready he Adam had some type of dominion but he has an everlasting Dominion he's in the place that no human being has ever been before the mediator of the New Covenant give me verse 10 I have to hurry that at the name of Jesus Yahweh has become my salvation man every knee should bow of things in heaven and things of the earth and things under the Earth you should ask your wonderful trinitarian friend will God the Father be in heaven will God the spirit be in heaven if they are they're going to bow to the name of Jesus verse 11. And that every tongue should confess so you got to confess this that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the father now why not God the trinity why not God the spirit you know it's like it's always talking about the father and the spirit but the wisdom kind of like Dad he's never in the pictures I guess that's what it is he's recording scripture you get it I apologize that's a bad joke because there's no Trinity here there's one God and Father of all God the Father but you're ready that God became man why give me please give me that next slide to make us co-jointers of Covenant with him where you could not stand before you can now stand because as an innocent man who died he's the open door saying come this way and stand with me that's why the Apostle John says as he is so are we in this present world right now I have a standing with God Paul says in Romans 8 29 for whom he did for no he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his son that he might be the firstborn among many brethren he's the first of a kind I got new life in Christ I have a potential of all things are passed away and behold all things have become new why because I have a doorway into New Life and he's the person of a kind give me that next slide first Timothy 2 5 and I'll close Lord have mercy First Timothy 2 5. For there is one God it's good to know that Paul was Oneness but he doesn't stop there he says in one mediator between God and men why mediator because a mediator can go where you can't go who is the mediator underline this in your Bible good Apostolic highlight it however you can get it in your brain the man Christ Jesus he's the one that says come stand with me all right I I I'll get i'll close with you guys got a little bit time two minutes I can do this John 14 6 Jesus saith unto them I am one of many ways and there may be multiple ways and multiple destinations where you can get to heaven and be saved I I maybe Hindus got enough revelation of the light to walk in all they know and they'll be saved no no maybe a good Baptist person could sneak in the back door somewhere brother Cameron I hope we're I hope we're right enough to be saved and wrong enough for them to be saved you can't make Jesus a liar that's not arrogance you should carry the burden of that I want to thank brother Gleason again for talking about the religious world that we have to reach with this message of essentiality Jesus saith unto him I am no way the truth and the life no man cometh unto the father not the Trinity but by me so what does that look like in actuality brother killing all this language of Distinction what am I going to see when I get to heaven let me let me tell you what Billy Graham's Pastor said anybody got some good Baptist friends oh she don't mind maybe calling me a heretic Brother Martin but they got a real problem calling Billy Graham's Pastor heritage W.A Criswell the leader of the Southern Baptist convention 1.16 at one point in America they had 16 million inheritance adherents and I wish we had time to deal with it in detail but he's got a great little book called heaven and in that he's being interviewed by Paige Patterson and this is what he says in his book he asked him what will you see in heaven he says when you get to heaven what you're going to see is Jesus why John John 1 18 no man has seen God at any time the only begotten son that's monogino my huias mono only get on my born huias son it's not the critical text reading mono Kindle my Theos you cannot have a born God that's heresy that's why I don't believe in that in my Bible Brother Martin the only begotten son is the only thing you're going to see in heaven once Jesus once God became incarnate in Jesus he's never becoming unincarnate again even Billy Graham's Pastor thinks so Revelation 5 13 two last verses and every creature which is in heaven and on Earth and under the Earth and all such as are in the sea and all that are in them heard I sang blessing and honor and glory and power be unto him that sitteth upon the throne and unto the lamb forever and ever turn to your neighbor say distinction go to Revelation chapter 22 verse 1. Give me those next two slides I apologize he shoot me a river of the Water of Life clearest Crystal proceeding out of the Throne of God into the lamb turn to your neighbors say to but not persons Rose and there shall be no more curse but the Throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it and his servants Shall Serve him and they shall see his space and his name shall be in their foreheads because the Throne of God is also the Throne of the Lamb that's why you can boldly approach the throne of Grace because it's a throne of grace because it's not just the Throne of God it's also the Throne of the Lamb why New Testament distinction brother killman why all this father-son language stuff because what God could only do as a man had to be lived out and he loved you enough to come would you slip up a hand and just say Lord we are unworthy but you've made us worth every good and perfect gift comes down from the Father of Lights we owe you everything Jesus we give you praise for your work and what you've established Us in that you've given us a life in the kingdom and a calling and an eternal destination we owe you Jesus everything praise God
