Summary
Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.
The Final Word: Texts Read and Title Announced
- He opens with Psalm 33:4 — the word of the Lord is right and all his work is done in truth — and reads on through the chapter: God spoke and it was done, he commanded and it stood fast, and the counsel of the Lord stands forever while the plans of the nations come to nothing.
- Psalm 105 echoes the same: the Lord is good, his mercy is everlasting, and his truth endures to all generations; Psalm 119:89 adds that God's word is forever settled in heaven.
- From these texts he announces his title, "The Final Word": what the congregation is facing is not final — God's word is.
Scriptures: Psalms 33; Psalms 33:4; Psalms 105; Psalms 119:89
Truly Timeless: The Word That Never Fades
- A blog list of fifty "timeless" things — fountain pens, chapstick, thank-you notes, denim, homemade pie, birthday phone calls, old books, playing catch with your dad, backyard barbecues, popping bubble wrap; his own additions are dad jokes, puns, and model trains.
- Unlike everything on that list, the word of God has never fallen out of relevance, never been outdated or obsolete; it has stood the test of time and will stand from the beginning of time to its end and beyond.
- A church in Austria gave him an old Bible on a youth missions trip; a handwritten note inside dates to 1850. The book is torn and its pages faded, but the truth in it has never faded or lost its power.
- He cites the witnesses: heaven and earth will pass away but Christ's words will not; the grass withers and the flower fades but the word of God stands forever; God's precepts stand fast forever and ever.
Scriptures: Matthew 24; Isaiah 40; Psalms 111
The Word in the Beginning and in the End
- John 1: in the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, the Word was God, and all things were made through him — the word is as eternal as the God who spoke it; he is Alpha and Omega, and his word is the same.
- When the Declaration of Independence, the Magna Carta, and the Constitution are no longer in effect and every other voice has been silenced, the word of God will still be standing.
- First Peter repeats Isaiah: the word of the Lord endures forever, and that is the word that was preached to them — he thanks God that someone preached this final word to them.
- The word is more than a collection of writings or a self-help book: it is the inspired, eternal, final word of God, the last word standing of them all.
Scriptures: John 1; 1 Peter 1
The Father Always Has the Final Say
- Growing up, when his word contradicted his parents', his dad always got the final say — as in the night he argued about how late he had gotten home from Applebee's; his dad's answer, "because I said so," ended every argument.
- Our heavenly Father likewise has the final word: no law, philosophy, declaration, or argument stands in the same regard with the word of God; if God says it, it is automatically and inherently true.
- From a lecture by Brother Bernard: if God is God, whatever God says is always and automatically truth with a capital T — God cannot lie; the entirety of his word is truth and every one of his righteous judgments endures forever.
- God signs his proclamations "I the Lord have spoken" — at least seventeen times in the Bible — and adds "I will do it"; his word will not return void but will accomplish what he pleases and prosper in the thing for which he sent it.
Scriptures: Psalms 119:160; Isaiah 55
Unbelief and Rival Voices Cannot Overrule the Word
- Governments can make and revise laws, presidents can issue and redact commands, judges and kings can rule and enforce — but when the book is closed, God's word alone will stand in eternity, accomplishing everything he purposed.
- Romans 3: what if some did not believe? Their unbelief does not make the faithfulness of God without effect — certainly not; let God be true and every man a liar.
- Many voices in the culture vie for attention and some believers have given them weight, but any voice that stands in contradiction to the word of God will falter and fade; this word never will.
Scriptures: Romans 3; Romans 3:3
"Who Told You?": God's Answer to Every Contrary Word
- Adam listened to another voice over the voice of God, ate the fruit, and hid; when God came looking, Adam said, "I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid because I was naked." God's question: "Who told you you were naked?"
- He turns the question on the congregation like a father asking a deceived child: Who told you I couldn't heal that sickness? Who told you you'll never be free, there's no hope, you're beyond redemption, you're not good enough, your sins are too many? Who said cancer couldn't be healed, diabetes is off limits, depression couldn't be broken?
- God's final word answers: his peace given, not as the world gives; by his stripes we are healed; come to me and I will give you rest; in the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.
- Romans 8:33 — who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. In all these things we are more than conquerors; nothing shall separate us from the love of God; there is now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus.
- The invitation: every sin can be washed away in the name of Jesus, and you can receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance — a new creation, according to the final word.
Scriptures: Genesis 3:10; Romans 8:33
The Doctor Who Had the Final Word: Mila's Birth
- When he and Mariah were having their first child, Mila, complications grew so severe that about a dozen nurses and three doctors rushed in; an older doctor walked in, took command, and everyone — nurses and doctors alike — followed his direction.
- When the delivery doctor said the father could come into the emergency surgery, the senior doctor overruled him: "No — I need to focus on saving her life." In that moment his word was final; there were no other words to be said.
- So it is with God: he has authority in every room we will ever walk into, so he always has the final word. A sickness can be healed, a heart mended, a relationship restored — his word can override and reverse any other word.
- He calls those who need a word of healing, deliverance, clarity, or direction — and those who have taken another word over God's promise for an unsaved loved one — to come to the altar.
"He Sent His Word and Healed Them"
- Psalm 107:20 focuses the healing prayer: he sent his word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions.
- He leads prayer for his friend Anthony Trimble and for several in the building needing a healing touch, trusting God's wisdom above the doctors' reports: "We've heard doctors, Lord, and we trust their wisdom, but we trust yours above it all."
- The prayer widens to emotional healing, hearts and spirits, families, marriages, and relationships, and to those not even in the room, as the congregation intercedes and the Holy Ghost moves through the room.
Scriptures: Psalms 107:20
"It Is Finished": The Last Voice at the Cross
- At Jesus' lowest point there were many other voices — Sanhedrin, soldiers, death, hell, and the grave — but then one voice: "It is finished." With it every sin, every stain, and every debt was paid, and no other voice could speak after it.
- Some hearing him are at a low point with other voices chirping; he urges them to let Christ's voice be the final voice and to silence every contrary voice, which is not worth hearing.
- He closes in thanksgiving and prayer, standing with his brothers and sisters on the authority of the word that met him in some of his lowest points and was the final, definite word.

i want to preach about his word today and specifically i want to approach it by this title and preach to you about the final word this morning we just heard a word from god that what you're facing is not final this is final this is the final word you're thankful for the precious word of god and for what we're about to hear today would you let him know by thanking him this morning before your seated lift your hands and your voices and can we praise him lord thank you for what we feel right now and i thank you for what we're going to hear your word it's going to help us it's going to change us and i thank you that it's final and i thank you that we can stand on it i thank you that we can rest on your word and every last promise that's in it we thank you for your word today and we glorify you in jesus name amen you may be seated
the word timeless has been ascribed to many different things and many different objects and ideas with respect to their longevity their influence and impact over the long haul in fact i ran across a blog or an article the other day that listed 50 things that the author felt should be considered timeless and i value your time today so i will not walk through every one of them i promise this sermon will not be timeless but i'll hit a couple highlights just to see if there's some sort of consensus in the room today she wrote this list several years ago but she lists the following things as being things that are timeless or things that will never go out of style she said fountain pens are timeless i don't know about that i think people still use them i think they're pretty cool i don't know if i totally agree there but she says that fountain pens made the list chapstick she says it's timeless i know a couple people that still use it a couple family members still use it religiously said thank you notes are timeless i need to write more of them i thought today brother river alone has made those timeless he is the expert at thank you notes i'm trying to learn brother river trying to learn she says denim is timeless it's still a thing seems to be coming back all the more we have circled back to denim again said homemade pie this one i absolutely agree with homemade apple pie specifically she said it is timeless praise the lord sister hammy's over there praising him said calling someone on their birthday anyone still do this calling someone on their birthday she said that's timeless maybe not i thought about it this week the the birthday song i've been singing it since i was a little guy that hasn't changed that seemed to be a long time ago for me i i'd say that's timeless we could add it to the list she she said old books are timeless someone else i read said the smell of old books is timeless i don't know about that some reason though i know that smell like i can i can sense it right now it's weird playing catch with your dad timeless backyard barbecues timeless and lastly she said the joy of popping bubble wrap is also timeless and i would agree on that one too i it's just so joyful this list got me thinking the other day i even asked mariah some things she would consider timeless and i'm sure we could all add to the list things that we're partial about or things that we're certain about whether or not they are actually truly timeless for example i would add that dad jokes are timeless and puns are timeless i would add that model trains by the brad huffnagle they are timeless i think i can make a good case for any one of those take my claim to all three of those but i'll say today that regardless of whether you agree with her list or not or you agree with my list or not i believe that there's something that we could all agree is really truly timeless in fact i would contend today that unlike fountain pens and model trains it has never once fallen out of relevance it has never once gone out of style it's never lost its generational impact or its influence over both the human heart and over humanity as a whole it's never once been outdated or antiquated or archaic or obsolete but if time is a test and it is it has passed that test with flying colors it stood the rigorous test of time in fact from the beginning of time until its end and beyond it will forever stand and it will forever be settled in heaven and on the earth i think you know where i'm going this morning because i'm talking about the unmasked and the unparalleled word of god i've come to remind someone this morning this word is everlasting and it is unchanging it is endless it is abiding it is eternal it is immutable it is timeless infallible absolute and it is final it is the inspired word of god and of all the things that i listed today along with anything else we would ever add it tops the list of what is truly timeless today our text says this much for the lord is good his mercy is everlasting his truth endures to all generations simply put it's just not going anywhere it's final it's timeless it's more timeless than denim it's more enduring than apple pie itself it's final we went over that list this week i told you about that word denim came up on that blog i read that list i mentioned to mariah it just seems like denim clothing has endured through all the generations it's like we just keep rediscovering it all over again what is this fabric what is this material and we make everything out of denim denim socks and denim headbands and denim everything denim many people would say it's timeless i'm thankful today that when denim has faded see what i did there when denim has faded along with everything else on that list and it's completely gone out of style and it's vanished off the face of the earth along with every other temporal object or idea the word of god will never fade it will be just as powerful and just as significant in the last generation as it was in the first i'm thankful this word has endured through all the generations i'm thankful it endured through my father's generation his father's generation and the ones before and i'm confident today no matter what culture society or humanity has to say about it this word will endure in my generation and my daughters and my sons in every generation until it comes and beyond it is the final word it's not faithing it's not going out of style it's not going out of date it is just as powerful just as necessary just as significant in 2021 as it has ever been it is still his word and it's still the final word it was a couple of years ago we went and visited a church in austria and they gave us these bibles were on a youth on missions trip and a man in the church has a passion for finding old bibles they gave me this it's been sitting in my office one of my most precious possessions now i cannot say with authority when exactly it was transcribed and printed but on the inside cover there's a handwritten note in german and i don't know how to read it if someone reads german come see me i'd love to know what it says well the the date that i noticed on here says 1850 18 now i cannot say with authority that this was written or printed in 1850 but what i can say with authority is that although this book is torn and its pages are a little faded and its words are a little faded the truth in this book has never faded it has never gone out of style it is the inspired infallible word of god oh it was it's just as powerful today as the day that that was written and the day that that was printed it has never lost its power it's never lost its authority those pages may be faded but the power and the truth behind them have not it endures to all generations it's forever settled in heaven matthew 24 of heaven and earth will pass away but my words will by no means pass away isaiah 40 the grass withers the flower fades but the word of our god stands forever psalm 111 the works of his hands are verity and justice all of his precepts are sure they stand fast forever and ever his word is truth and it is the final word
it was the word in the beginning and it will be the word in the end john 1 says in the beginning it was the word and the word was with god and the word was god he was in the beginning with god all things were made through him and without him nothing was made that was made this word is as eternal as the god who spoke it and the god it embodies and represents he's the alpha and the omega the beginning in the end and his word will be nothing less than the same so when every other word is ceased and every other declaration has concluded when every other voice has been silenced or dispelled his word will remain his truth will endure when the declaration of independence is no longer relevant when the magna carta and the constitution are of no longer any effect when every other expression every other law every other philosophy or viewpoint has ceased to matter this word the final word will still be standing just as its author is unchangeable and true his word is unchangeable and true psalm 33 reads it this way the lord brings the council of the nations to nothing he makes the plans of the people of no effect but the council of the lord in contrast stands forever the plans of his heart to all generations first peter 1 repeats isaiah 40 in the new testament it says but the war of the lord endures forever now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you aren't you thankful someone preached this word to you someone gave you the final word of god that bible you're holding on to and you read every day it's the word of god and it is the final word it's more than a collection of writings and genres more than a self-help book it's more than even the best-selling book of all time and it is that it's the word of god forever settled in heaven truth that endures to all generations eternal final the inspired word of god and the last word standing of them all and not just in the arena in the area of time no but when i say that his word is the final word i will tell you there is yet another aspect to its finality let me explain what i mean his word is not just the final word when it comes to time and eternity his word is the final word when it comes to every other word that has been or will be spoken in other words our god always has the final say and he has the final word i'll explain it to you a little further
growing up as you can imagine there were at least a handful of times when what i wanted or what i said contradicted my parents and what my dad said now this only happened like three or four or 40 or 50 or 60 times but i noticed this common thread when this contradiction of words and wills and viewpoints would occur typically and when i say typically i mean always dad always got the final say and rightfully so in fact in one instance i remember getting home late after church one night i had spent too much time up at applebee's and i proceeded to argue with my dad over whether or not it was actually as late as he thought it was as if he didn't have a watch i can tell you definitively this morning that my dad had the final word that night and i had nothing else that i was going to say and on more than one occasion we'd ask my dad well why why this and why that and he would give the answer that i now give to my own kids because i said so when i got that answer there were no other arguments to be made there's nothing else to be said at that moment that answer that word was the final word you're probably picking up on the theme here our heavenly father has the final word and the final say there is not a word among us or a word among humanity that can stand against and contradict his this is his house this is his creation we are his workmanship so there is no word there is no argument there is no philosophy there is no law there is no declaration or proclamation that stands in the same straddle with or is held in the same regard with the word of god the word of god trumps every other word his law overshadows every other law his truth with a capital t stands over every other truth and if god says it it is automatically true it's inherently final and true so a couple years ago i was in a lecture brother bernard was talking about something along these lines about the nature of god he said something that just blew my mind as he typically does he said this and i'm paraphrasing he said if god is god and he is it means that whatever god says is always and automatically the truth with a capital t the bible says that god cannot lie so even if god were to say something that we all thought was a lie it would now be truth just because god said it was true now thankfully god doesn't go against his own nature and he's not known to contradict himself but if he decided today that the earth should be flat and now the center of the universe all he would need to do is speak the word and it would stand as the final and absolute truth that's why our text says by the word of the lord the heavens were made and all the hosts of them just by the breath of his mouth he gathers the waters of the deep together as a heap he lays up the deep in storehouses let all the earth fear the lord let the inhabitants of the world stand in all of him verse 9 for he spoke it and it was done he commanded it and it stood fast when god says it it's final when he speaks it it is settled it is done it is finished when the almighty speaks psalm 119 160 the entirety of his word is truth not a fraction not most but all of it is truth and every one of his judgments endures forever when the king of kings decides to voice his truth and his command it's over and done simply because he said so in fact he's got his own version of that popular parental phrase my dad mentioned he doesn't say it the same way my dad does because i said so but instead he often said it like this he'd make a proclamation or a promise or prophecy and he would conclude his statement his word by saying i the lord have spoken at least 17 times throughout the bible the lord would speak a word and then he'd follow it up by saying oh by the way i the lord have spoken and then he would clarify it further and he'd say i the lord have spoken and i will do it in other words i said it and it's done i spoke it and now it's over there's nothing left to be said there's no other word to be heard there's no other argument to be made but my word will be accomplished and it will be completed just because i said so isaiah 55 my word will not return boy the word that comes from my mouth but it shall accomplish what i please and it will prosper in the thing for which i sent it it's done it's final it's there's no other person there's no other voice no other entity that can change or contradict it
hear me today governments can make laws and revise them presidents can issue commands and redact them judges and kings can issue rulings and enforce them but when it's all said and done and the book is closed it will be his word the word of god that will stand in eternity and uncertainty it will not return void it will accomplish everything he has purposed for it to account i hope that encourages someone this morning in the service in this year of 2021 and the climate that we're living in of darkness and depravity i know we live in a world that defames and profanes the word of god and every last principle it outlines we saw evidence of that last week pastor played a video if you hadn't seen it one that showed or called darkness light and truth bigotry and hatred but i'm encouraged today that this word the word you and i have received the one we live by is the final word over every government every agenda every authority every principality every other word that the enemy has or could ever hope to offer so no matter what you've heard child of god no matter what voices are circulating in your life or what society and culture have to say this word is still the final word romans 3 and 3 talking about the word of the oracle of god he says for what if some didn't believe the word what if they didn't believe his principles what if they don't believe his or what if they don't accept it he asks will their unbelief make the faithfulness of god without effect verse 4 certainly not indeed let god be true and every man a liar as if he said i don't care what they believe or don't believe i don't care what they say the word of god is still true which means any words that stand against it are not true his word is still the final word which means every other voice and every other word inherently is not the final word and this is significant it's where the rubber meets the road today because there's so many other voices out there in our world and in our society there's so much noise and distraction there are many voices vying for our attention and vying for our engagement and some of us have not just been hearing those voices but some of us have also been adhering to those voices we've given ear and some weight to those words that they've been speaking and those voices have attempted to dissuade us of the only voice and the only word that will really matter in the end i'll get to some specifics in a moment but let me reiterate that if it stands in contradiction to the word of god it is not a voice worth listening to and it's not a voice worth believing that voice will eventually falter and it will faith this word will never falter this word will never let god be true and every man a liar if he doesn't line up with this voice it's not a voice i need in my life
i was thinking about this earlier this week and i was reminded of adam in the garden adam had another voice that inserted itself into his life and he listened to that voice over the voice of god he's drawn away eats of the fruit and the lord comes looking for him and adam for the first time in his life realizes his human frame and he hides himself from god genesis 3 10 he explains himself i heard your voice in the garden ah i wish some of us would listen to his voice before any others voice just trying to tell you to make a mistake i was just trying to tell you to do something contrary i wish you'd listen to the voice of god today and the word of god i heard your voice and i was afraid because i was naked and i hid myself the lord responds and merciless who told you you were naked who told you that adam who said that to you adam had another voice in his life that was contrary to the voice of god and god asked him who said that to you adam who told you it almost sounds to me like a father whose kids have been lied to and deceived he said who said that son who was it that told you that i want to know who said that to you i feel like the heavenly father is coming to the room today and he's asking someone who who told you i couldn't heal you of that sickness and that disease and that evil who told you you'll never be free and you'll never be whole i want to know who told you you couldn't have peace and that things will never change in your life who told you there's no hope who told you i will not accomplish what i started in you who said you're beyond redemption and that you've gone too far for me to save you i want to know son or daughter who said you're not good enough who told you you're not good enough for the kingdom of god who was it that said your sins were too many and the darkness in your life was too great i want to know who said you couldn't have victory that you can't overcome that you'll never have deliverance that i can restore you heal you forgive you provide for you give you rest who was it that said that cancer couldn't be healed by god who was it who said that diabetes is off limits to god who was it that said a depression couldn't be broken and anxiety alleviated whoever it was i want you to hear me i've got a word for you and i've got a word for them and i can assure you it is the final word peace peace i leave with you my peace i give to you not as the world gives let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid but he's boiling our griefs carried our sorrows he extremely stricken spitting by god and afflicted he was wounded for our transgressions he was bruised for our iniquities the chastisement for our peace was upon him in pie his stripes we are healed come unto me says all who are heavy laden who labor and i will give you i've got a word for you today these things have i spoken to you that in me you might have peace in the world you will have tribulation but be of good cheer child of god i have overcome the world and then in romans 8 33 who will bring a charge against god's elect who's talking to you who's bringing a charge against you it's god who justifies who is it that condemns you it's christ who died and furthermore is also risen who is even at the right hand of god and makes intercession for us who shall separate us from the love of christ shall tribulation or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril who told you that i didn't love you anymore who tried to separate you from me verse 37 yet in all of these things we are more than conquerors through him that i don't care what word you've heard i don't care who said it but the final word says neither life nor death nor angels nor principalities nor powers nor things present nor things to come nor high nor death nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of god as in christ jesus there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in christ jesus who walk not according to the flesh but after the spirit instead you were washed you were sanctified you were justified in the name of the lord jesus and by the spirit of our i hope you hear a word today and if you haven't been washed yet you can be washed you can be cleansed you can have all your sins removed and washed away in the name of jesus you can receive the gift of the holy ghost speak in other tongues as the spirit gives the utterance you can have life and life for abundantly you can be a new creation it says it in the final word i've got a word for someone today and it is nothing less than the final word on the matter every sin can be washed away every sickness can be healed in his name every storm dispelled by his power every wound every heart mended in his presence and every other voice will fade in light of his final and definitive word the word and the voice of god it is the final word today what we were seeing in a moment ago i felt like the lord spoke to me said their words all throughout this building and promises he's given to this church family and some of us have taken the word of someone or something else over the promise of god i feel like god is bringing us back to some promises you remember when i told you child of god that i was going to save that young man or save that unsaved loved one that was the final word there were no other words that could get in the way of that if i said it it will remember when i said i'd heal you remember when i said i'd move in your family and i'd heal some relationship that was the final word and the other word that's gotten in the way of that that is not the final word he has the final say today musicians of you'd come
i want to wrap up with this story i shared it last year sometime but it encapsulates what i'm trying to say today we were having our first child mila bryan had complications at the hospital got so severe about a dozen nurses and three doctors came rushing in the room to help her in the commotion i noticed this older man walk in and immediately he started telling everyone else what to do and surprisingly they all listened all the nurses even the doctors followed his direction listened to everything he said to do in fact when they went to take mariah into emergency surgery i said can i go with her and her delivery doctor said yes you can come and that top doc fired back he said no i need to focus on saving her life i don't need to worry about yours too when he said that there were no other words to be said in that moment a decision was made it was finished he had the final word in the room i want to remind someone you serve a god who commands and has authority in every room you will ever walk in every place his presence resides there is no place where he does not have authority which means he always has the final word and the final say i need you to hear me some of you have heard a word from somebody or something recently from the enemy and you've assumed that it is final and that it is definitive but i feel like the great physician has walked into the room today to tell you it is not over it is not finished until he says it's that sickness can be healed that heart can be mended that relationship can be put back together he has the authority and the power and the ability to do it and his word can override and reverse any other work he has the final say so no matter what you've heard recently we've got the word today you can be healed you can be free you can be delivered you can be restored redeemed and changed if you believe that i want you to stand right now and i will invite brothers and sisters throughout the building you need a word from god or you've heard a word from god and you want to respond to the word i wouldn't bite you don't hesitate but if you need a word of healing or a word of deliverance would you just step out of where you are and come and pray in this alter if you need to re uh re-listen or reinvite a new promise or an old promise into your life i wonder if you'd step out right now if you need a word of clarity or a word of direction you want to hear the word of god i wonder if you begin to make your way right now there's some brothers and sisters in the altar who are in need of a word from god and if you feel like you can deliver a word from god being used in the gifts of the spirit i invite you to come and pray and lay hands on someone god's bringing some old promises back god's bringing some old words back oh jesus we respond to your word and you can heal that you can deliver that you can save and then you can provide oh jesus hallelujah oh we need a word today we're desperate for a word today god we believe from god oh believe god we will be me god we glory we trust in you say say we trust you we trust in you we'll see foreign you said is is is is hey oh oh god we is i believe
if you're praying please continue i'd like to focus in on at least one prayer point psalm 107 verse 20 says he sent his word and healed them deliver them from their destructions if you're in need of a healing today and you're just in desperate need of a word from god the healing word of god i wonder if you just lift your i know of one at least my friend anthony trimble that we're going to pray together but you just need a healing we've got several in the building and god is a god who cares and touched by the feeling of our infirmities so if it was one person this wouldn't be out of line but we've got several throughout the building who need a word from god and need a healing touch i wonder if we could go to prayer right now church and pray that that would come and intercede on their behalf in the name of jesus i thank you that you are a healer that you have the final say we've heard doctors lord and we trust their wisdom but we trust yours above it all lord and not only for physical healing but there are individuals god in need of an emotional healing or a healing in their heart or their spirit i pray that healing would come oh then you would send your word to those who are desperate and you would heal i pray you send a word to my friend by the anthony trimble god you would heal him and touch his body you have the final word you have the final say oh jesus we trust in you that you will send your word and then you're going to heal and we're standing on that promise and we stand on the authority of your word thank you jesus thank you jesus the holy ghost is just moving throughout the room strengthening individuals we're just going to take a moment here and let him allow him to do that would you just stretch your hand towards someone if you're not praying at this moment someone that's interceding someone that's desperate you just begin to pray in jesus name they're able to heal in the body today you're able to heal lord those who aren't even in this room right now you're able to heal families you're able to heal marriages in relationships you're able to heal of every last disease and ailments
i want to leave one last thing with you then if you'd like to continue to pray feel free this week as i prepared i thought on that day when jesus was at his lowest point humanly speaking there were a lot of other voices sanhedrin soldiers some prominent voices death hell the grave but then one voice it is finished and with it every sin every stain every debt paid and there was no other voice that could speak after that it was done it was over some of us have had some other voices we're at a low point in our lives speaking and chirping but i want to encourage you today let his voice be the final voice and any others that would try to contradict they are not worth hearing his is the final word i feel his presence gloria can we thank him for his word today god i thank you that your word has met me in some of my lowest points lord and it was the final indefinite word and i stand on it today along with my brothers and sisters that are here i stand on the authority of your word god i pray that you'd help us to silence every other voice that's contrary to it and to listen to and to hear the voice of god i thank you that your word is going to help us lord we thank you jesus amen amen
