Summary

Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.

Chosen for the greatest hour

  • We are living in the eleventh hour — the final few moments of it — and of all the generations God could have chosen to usher in the greatest revival, harvest, and visitation the world has ever seen, He chose this one: not the days of T. W. Barnes, Billy Cole, J. T. Pew, G. A. Mangun, Verbal Bean, and Nona Freeman. God has literally waited on you; you have been brought into the kingdom for such a time as this.
  • We are the body of Christ in the earth — His eyes, ears, mouth, hands, feet, and heart — and to be as effective as He desires we must go through the same process of growth and maturity His earthly body did, growing into the fullness of the stature of Christ. The measuring stick has not changed from the first century to the twenty-first: it is not a TikTok influencer, an actor, a politician, or a sports star; it is Jesus Christ.

God, break me — and the Lord of the leverage

  • Every person who has ever truly desired to be used of God has crawled into a secret place and prayed one unpopular prayer: "God, break me." When you pray it, you don't get to decide how the brokenness comes; you yield, submit, and die to it.
  • Twenty-first-century Pentecost misconceives brokenness as an indictment. Brokenness is not because something is wrong with you but because something is right with you; it is not God's method of punishment but His method of perfecting — whom the Lord loveth, He chasteneth, and one of the worst things God can ever do to a person is leave them alone.
  • God did not cause the broken things — not the suicidal thought, the anxiety and depression, the broken home, the parents' divorce — but you serve the Lord of the leverage: He takes what life and the enemy sent and turns it around for His glory. Feeling like your world is spinning out of control is the clay's perspective on the potter's wheel: your life isn't spinning out of control, it's spinning in control, held by the Potter's hands.

Scriptures: Hebrews (book-only, as spoken)

Sons, led by the Spirit every day

  • Sonship's qualification is being led by the Spirit (Romans) — not just in the service's order but every day and in every area: what you watch and don't watch, listen to, post, whom you date and marry, where you go to school, where you take a job, what you wear. It is not God's will to be Spirit-led on Sunday and flesh-led on Monday, Spirit-led at youth convention and flesh-led the other fifty-one weeks.
  • The spirit of adoption is better rendered the spirit of position: at the new birth you were brought out of this world's system and elevated to a place of status, power, and dominion in the kingdom — not weakness and inferiority. It is not that you can't do the old things anymore; you don't want to anymore.
  • His Spirit beareth witness with our spirit — a compound word, the root of our word symmetry: two different objects perfectly mirroring one another. The new birth is not a graduation but an enrollment into the school of the Spirit, an ebb and flow of broken season after broken season, until at the end of your life God looks at you and sees Himself.

Scriptures: Romans (book-only, as spoken)

God's divine balance: broken bread, unbroken vesture

  • His stated subject: God's divine balance — God does not break one thing without allowing you to behold another. Only two things in the tabernacle and temple were ever broken, and both were types of the flesh.
  • The showbread on the table (Exodus 25:30) — in the Hebrew, the bread of the face: the priests believed communion with God did not really begin until that bread was broken and they beheld His face; Jesus broke bread and called it His body. The veil of the temple — also a type of the flesh (Hebrews) — was rent at His death, and His presence passed from a high priest once a year to whosoever will.
  • Garment and vesture are different: the garment is outer, seamed, and could be parted among the soldiers; the vesture is beneath the surface, seamless, and could not be divided — they cast lots for it — and not a bone of Him was broken. Your outer man may be unraveling thread by thread, but there is something beneath the surface the enemy cannot taint: your dance, your shout, your prayer life, your joy, your worship.

Scriptures: Exodus 25:30; Hebrews (book-only, as spoken)

Jacob's limp: alignment and appetite

  • Jacob, left alone, wrestled until the breaking of the day and would not let go without a blessing; he came away with a new name and a limp — and named the place Peniel: "I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved." To the carnal, brokenness looks out of balance; Jacob never had greater balance than when he walked with a limp. Jehovah broke Jacob, but Jacob beheld Jehovah.
  • To this day Israel does not eat of the sinew that shrank: when God breaks an area of your flesh, you don't go back and feed on it. It is God's job to adjust your alignment, but it is your job to adjust your appetite — go home and unfollow them, delete the playlist, cancel the subscription, break up with them, get it out of your closet.
  • Hosea's word on the same story (Hosea 12:4): alone at Bethel, Jacob wept and prevailed — "and there he spake with us." Broken seasons are never just about you; they're about everybody you're connected to. Jacob's limp is what saved Jacob's lineage: because God broke your flesh, your marriage doesn't have to end like your parents', and your descendants can be apostles and prophets.

Scriptures: Hosea 12:4; Genesis (book-only, as spoken)

Of no reputation — He was there

  • Everybody has a platform now, and a mindset has crept in: if you want to be elevated, do it yourself. The kingdom's rules are different — he that humbleth himself shall be exalted; he that exalteth himself shall be abased. Humility is voluntary; humiliation is involuntary. We protect image and reputation, but Christ made Himself of no reputation and turned the world upside down; God can use a nobody from nowhere, with all your brokenness.
  • His own testimony: he comes from a broken home and a family tree of divorce — the first preacher, the first evangelist ever sent from his home church. At twelve years old, kneeling by his bed asking why his dad didn't live there, he could not see God in it; twenty years later, preaching in April 2026, he can look back and say He was there.
  • Job questioned God for thirty-seven chapters; in chapter 38 God answered through the whirlwind — through the storm: it is not for you to figure out; it is for you to trust. And the answer to give the broken — the backslidden young lady who stumbles back in, the young man with same-sex attraction rooted in childhood abuse, the girl pregnant out of wedlock, the one who put the gun down to give God one more shot — is: He was there. The goldsmith puts the gold in the fire and beats it, again and again, until he can see his reflection in it: what do we care more about, His reflection or our reputation? He closes by calling the room to the posture of brokenness in an extended altar prayer.

You can make your way back to your seat. I want to say from the bottom of my heart what an honor it is to be here in the North Carolina district and it is apparent that we have been raised up together to sit with him in heavenly places here tonight. I'm so thankful for what we feel in this atmosphere. This is not something I take for granted. Anytime God allows me to have an audience with this generation, I carry that weight and that burden with me. And it's my delight to be here.

I want to give honor to your youth president, brother Peeve. Aren't you thankful for apostolic leadership? You're going to hear from him tomorrow night. And God is going to use him powerfully to bring a word to this generation. Brother Peavey, I honor you. God bless you, sir.

You and your family. And brother Chance and Brother Matt, didn't we hear a wonderful word from Brother Chance here tonight? Wow. I want to have a love for truth. Anybody want to have a love for truth in 2026? I want to buy the truth and sell it not.

And I give brother Chance and Brother Madden, their family great honor and brother Drayen Young. Wow. It don't make no sense be able to sing like that. And the music has just been so anointed. And what I love and appreciate about them is they're not just talented, they're anointed. There's a difference between talent and anointing.

It's the anointing that destroys the yoke and breaks the burden. What you feel here tonight in this atmosphere, that's not a product of talent. That's a product of anointing. And I I am so thankful to be teamed up with them. I see some faces I didn't expect to see. Brother Reagan Mat with P7 and Brother Matthew Wilson.

He's hiding out here somewhere. There he is over there on my left. I give them honor and love and appreciate these men. My friend, Brother Josh Lewis. So thankful for his friendship and all of the ministry that is here tonight. Everybody needs a pastor in their life.

Now, I know that you're not going to run the aisles when I say that, but that piece of information will keep you in the church for the next 40 and 50 years. Everybody needs a pastor. I'm the product of listening to the man of God in my life. And I would not be where I am without a man named Travis Houston. And I give honor to your district superintendent, brother Linder. Can we put our hands together and thank God for wonderful leadership?

Amen. And last, but certainly not least, I've had many great honors throughout my life and ministry, but none such honor as great as marrying Emma Herring. And I give honor to my beautiful wife. She is not here tonight. She's at home expecting our first. And I love and appreciate her.

It matters who you marry. Come on. It's youth convention. You knew it was coming at some point. It matters who you marry. You can marry a soulmate or a cellmate.

You're dismissed. God bless you. You can marry a soulmate or a cellmate. Don't marry based off potential. Don't marry them thinking, "Well, they'll love God after we get married." Find you somebody that loves truth now. Find you somebody that loves holiness now.

Find you somebody with a prayer life. Now find you somebody that'll dance and shout now. Well, praise God. Let's all stand. How many of you came to help me preach on this first night? I know that you don't know me and I don't know you.

And I've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes your first time preaching somewhere, that first service can sort of be a getting acquainted service. And I've noticed that in those situations, the preacher's filling out the people, the people are filling out the preacher. And because of that, we never really get where God wants us to go. I don't know you and you don't know me, but we know Jesus. So, what do you say we act like we're old friends here tonight? Let God have his way.

Is that all right? One more time before you're seated, let's lift our hands and let's lift our voices. And I'm wanting to know if somebody can just pray in the Holy Ghost. Come on. I need a pastor to help me here tonight. I need a youth pastor to help me here tonight.

Let's lift our voices. And let's pray until this atmosphere begins to break. Come on. And I know we can dance and shout, but when it's time to pray until something breaks, do we have that capacity? Every eye closed, every hand raised, every voice lifted. Oh, your Amen.

Amen. God bless you. Thank you for standing. You can be seated. I believe we are living in the greatest hour the church has ever been a part of. We are living in the 11th hour.

We're not just living in the 11th hour, but we are living in the final few moments of the 11th hour. And of all of the generations that God could have chosen to bring about the greatest revival, the greatest harvest, and the greatest visitation the world has ever seen. God chose this generation. Of all of the generations that God could have used as a catalyst, as a causal force in the earth to usher in the greatest move of God humanity has ever experienced. He could have used and chosen the days of T. W.

Barnes, Billy Cole, J. T. [Pew], G. A. Mangun, Verbal Bean, Nona Freeman. But God did not choose their generation.

God chose this generation. I would contend here tonight, God has literally waited on you to get here before he sends the greatest move of God the world has ever experienced. I want to remind this generation, it's true. You can go ahead and believe it. You have been brought into the kingdom for such a time as this. And with that we have to come to the realization and get a hold of the fact that we are the body of Christ in the earth.

We are the eyes of God, the ears of God, the mouth of God. We're the hands and the feet of God. We are the heart of God. And in order for us to be as effective and as impactful in the earth as God desires for us to be, there is a process of growth and maturity that we have to go through because just as the earthly body of Jesus Christ went through a process of growth and maturity, during those 33 years that he walked the earth. So it is for you and I. In order to be as effective as God desires for us to be, we have to go through that same process of growth and maturity until, as Paul says, we grow into the fullness of the stature of Christ.

And that is an often overlooked verse. We are to grow into the fullness of the stature of Christ that reminds us in 2026 what the measuring stick really is. Can I remind us here tonight the measuring stick has not changed from the first century to the 21st century. The measuring stick for your life and my life is still Jesus Christ. The measuring stick for our lives is not some Tik Tok influencer. It is not some Hollywood actor or actress.

It is not some politician. It is not some sports star. That is not the measuring stick for your life and my life. But the measuring stick for our lives is Jesus Christ. We are to grow into the fullness of the stature of Christ. There's a process that comes with that and it's not an easy process.

I have been preaching for coming up on 18 years and traveling across the apostolic movement for a decade now. And I have learned anybody who truly desires to be used of God at some point in their life has crawled into a secret place and has prayed one specific prayer. This prayer is not a popular prayer. As a matter of fact, it's antithetical to everything our flesh desires, but it's a necessary prayer. And the first time you pray that prayer, it's through gritted teeth because everything in you pushes back against that prayer. And the one prayer that every person who has ever truly desired to be used of God has ever prayed is God break me.

That's not a popular prayer. That's not a common prayer, but it is a necessary prayer. And what I have learned about praying that prayer is when you pray that prayer, God break me, you don't get to decide how the brokenness comes. You have to yield to it. You have to submit to it. You have to die to it.

And we have a misconception in 21st century Pentecost about the concept of brokenness. We believe brokenness is an indictment. It's God saying something is wrong with us. But can I tell you here tonight, brokenness is not because something is wrong with you. Brokenness is because something is right with you. Brokenness is not God's method of punishment.

Brokenness is God's method of perfecting. It is the avenue that God uses to take you from who you are to who you're supposed to become. From where you are to where you're going. That's why the writer of Hebrews said, "Who the Lord loves, he chasteneth." one of the greatest indicators that God loves us is when he allows us to go through seasons of brokenness, I am convinced here tonight, one of the worst things God can ever do to a person is leave them alone. I'm going to take my time here tonight, so just be ready to go on a journey with me. I said one of the worst things God can ever do to an individual is leave them alone.

You should be alarmed whenever you don't feel that brokenness. Whenever you don't feel the conviction of the Holy Ghost. But whenever God loves you enough to let you be uncomfortable, whenever God loves you enough to let the preached word of God push you to the altar, you better thank God HE'S not done with your life. So, one of the worst things God can ever do is leave a person alone. But whom the Lord loves, he chasteneth. Now, don't misunderstand me here tonight.

God will allow the brokenness to come. But you serve the Lord of the leverage. He did not cause that suicidal thought. He did not give you that anxiety and that depression. He did not give you that pornography struggle. He DIDN'T make you crawl in the backseat of A car with somebody that YOU'RE not married to.

He did not come on. He did not make you lose your Job. He DIDN'T make you come from A broken home. He didn't wreck your marriage. He DIDN'T make your parents backslide and get A divorce. But you serve the Lord of the leverage.

He can take what life has sent you. And he can take what the enemy has sent you. And he can leverage it and he can turn it around and use it for his glory in your life. If I could get that monitor back up here. Thank you.

You serve the Lord of the leverage. HE'S got A way of taking what life in the enemy has sent you and turning it around and using it to make you more like him. There are young people that came to this youth convention feeling like your world is spinning out of control. Anybody ever been there before in a season of brokenness? You feel like your world is spinning out of control. Welcome to the POTTER'S wheel because that is the perspective of the clay whenever IT'S on the POTTER'S wheel.

But little do you realize is the hands of the potter. IT'S holding your life in place. Hey, your life ISN'T spinning out of control. Your life is spinning in control. HE'S got your world in his hands. And HE'S smoothing out the rough edges of your life.

You ought to be thankful here today. It feels like YOU'RE spinning out of control. That lets you know YOU'RE still on the POTTER'S wheel. Whom the Lord loves. Whom the Lord loves, he chasteneth. And the next verse says that if you endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons.

When God allows you to go through brokenness, he's just treating you like one of his own. For if you endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons.

What are the qualifications for sonship? Paul wrote to the church at Rome and said, "For as many as are led by the spirit, these are the sons of God." We read the Bible through our westernized North American traditional perspectives. But that is not the lens through which the Bible was written. When we read that verse that says, "For as many as are led by the spirit, these are the sons of God." We read that and we interpret that as saying if God wants to move after the first song instead of the fifth song or if God wants to move after the second point in the message instead of the eighth point in the message we got to get out of the way and let God do what God wants to do. And that is part of being spiritledd. But that is not all of being spiritled.

When paul said, "for as many as are led by the spirit, these are the sons of God." he was saying, "YOU'VE got to be spiritled every day in every area of your life." can I tell this generation, it is not the will of God to be led by the spirit on sunday and led by the flesh on monday. IT'S not the will of God to be led by the spirit at youth convention and led by the flesh the other 51 weeks out of the year. You know what the will of God is for your life? It is the will of God that you are spiritled with what you watch and what you DON'T watch. With what you listen to and what you DON'T listen to. With what you post or what you DON'T post.

With who you date. With who you marry. With where you go to school. With where you take A Job. YOU'VE got to be spiritled. With what you wear and what you DON'T wear.

And paul keeps writing and he says, "for you have not been given the spirit of bondage again unto fear, but you have been given the spirit of adoption whereby we cry, Abba, father." that word, that word adoption there in the Greek is better translated as the spirit of position. What Paul was telling the church of rome is that when you were baptized in JESUS' name and you were filled with the gift of the holy ghost you were brought out of this world system and you were elevated to A place of status and position in the kingdom of God. And I want to remind this generation that is not A position of weakness and inferiority. That is A position of power and dominion. Come on. I'M going to preach it here today.

THAT'S why I'M tired of apostolics walking around with their head down and their shoulders slumped saying, "well, poor pitiful me. I CAN'T cut my hair. I CAN'T wear the jewelry. I CAN'T wear the makeup. I CAN'T go to the movie theater. I CAN'T date them.

I CAN'T listen to that. I CAN'T go here. I CAN'T do this. IT'S not that you CAN'T. IT'S that you DON'T want to anymore. YOU'VE been brought out of darkness.

And I wish somebody would give God praise in this house right now. And thank God. YOU'VE got royal blood flowing through your veins. And the next verse says, you can be seated. The next verse says, "His spirit beareth witness with our spirit, declaring we are the children of God." That's interesting to me. His spirit beareth witness with our spirit declaring we are the children of God.

In the Greek those two words beareth witness they are compound words. It is symmetra. It's where we get the English word symmetry or symmetrical. When two things are symmetrical, they are different objects, but they perfectly mirror and reflect one another. What Paul is saying is that when you experience the new birth, that was not the end of the journey. That was the beginning of the journey.

The new birth experience is not a graduation. It's an enrollment into the school of the spirit and you will live the rest of your life in this eb and flow of broken season after broken season after broken season. So that at the end of your life, you will possess the spirit of symmetry where when God looks at you, he doesn't see you, he sees himself. In case you forgot, that's what this thing is really all about. It's not about this platform. It's not about this microphone.

It's not about the highlight reel. IT'S not about everybody knowing your name. The greatest goal of living for God is so that at the end of your life, you look like him.

And the Lord dealt with me several months ago in prayer. He showed me things that I had never realized before. There are only two things in the tabernacle in the temple that were ever broken. God is speaking to Moses about the tabernacle and he gets to the table of showbread and in Exodus 25 and30 the Bible says and thou shalt set upon the table showbread before me always. That word showbread in the Hebrew is the bread of face. And the priests believed that whenever they would enter into that holy place and they would break that bread that it was at that moment they beheld the face of God.

They did not believe communion with God really began until there was something that was broken. And I am preaching to you tonight about God's divine balance. God does not break one thing without allowing you to behold another thing. And that bread was a type of the flesh. That's why in the New Testament when Jesus broke that bread and gave it to his disciples, he said, "Take and eat of this bread which is my body." And then you get to the New Testament and Jesus is hanging on the cross and that outer man is bruised and bloodied. And whenever Jesus breathes his last breath, the Bible says that the veil of the temple was rent and twain from top to bottom.

The writer of Hebrews said that the veil was a type of the flesh. And when that veil was broken, there was a shift in the spirit. Because prior to that moment, the glory of God was exclusive to a high priest once a year. But after that moment, the presence of God was available for whosoever will. ISN'T it amazing here tonight that the only two things to ever experience brokenness in the tabernacle and the temple were both types of the flesh because that's God's divine balance. He does not break one thing without allowing us to behold another thing.

And we quote the scripture a lot about how they they cast lots for his garments, but that's not what the Bible says. The Bible says that they cast lots for his vesture and they parted his garments among them. There's a difference in a garment and a vesture. A garment is worn on the outside. It's what everybody can see. And it's made of multiple pieces of fabric, which means it has seams.

And because it has seams, it can be ripped and torn and divided. They didn't have to cast lots for the garment because they could divide that garment into enough pieces for each Roman soldier. But the vesture is different than the garment. The vesture is worn beneath the surface. It's what nobody can see. And it's not made of one piece of multiple pieces of fabric.

It's made of one piece of fabric, which means it doesn't have seams. And because the vesture does not have seams, it cannot be ripped and torn and divided. Which is why they had to cast lots for the vesture. Because only one Roman soldier was going to leave Calvary with the vesture of Jesus Christ. And whenever they came to Jesus, the Bible said that they seeing he was dead already. Break not his legs.

That the scripture might be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken. Can I tell you here tonight, the garment on the outside was symbolic of the outer man. IT'S what everybody could see. And that outer man was broken. That outer man was bloody. That outer man was ripped into pieces.

But the vesture beneath the surface it was symbolic of the bones of Jesus Christ. There was something beneath the surface that was still intact that was still secure and stable. I am preaching to people in this house you feel like your world is unraveling thread by thread. You feel like your mind is unraveling. You feel like your family is unraveling. You feel like your dreams and your emotions and your plans are unraveling.

I want to preach faith into SOMEBODY'S spirit and say the garment might be falling apart, but THERE'S something beneath the surface and greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. Come on, somebody ought to rise to their feet in this house right now and say, "I might be broken in every area of my life. But THERE'S something beneath the surface that the enemy cannot taint and he cannot tarnish. I'VE still got my dance. I'VE still got my shout I'VE still got my prayer life. I'VE still got my hand clap.

I'VE still got my hour run. I'VE still got my leap. I'VE still got my joy. I'VE still got my worship. Come on, somebody ought to give God praise. In this house.

You might come from A broken home, A dysfunctional family, A dysfun come on. You might come from brokenness. But THERE'S still A shout in your spirit. Come on, somebody lift your voice and begin to shout all over this house.

And Jacob was left alone, and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of day. And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh, so that his thigh was out of joint. And he said, "Let me go, for the day breakth." And he said, "I will not let thee go except thou bless me." And he said, "What is thy name?" And he said, "Jacob." And he said, "Thou shalt be called no more Jacob, but Israel. For as a prince has th power with God and with men, and has prevailed." to everybody else in JACOB'S life, when he walked with A limp that day, he might have looked out of balance. To the carnal brokenness looks like it's out of balance. But in the spirit, Jacob never had greater balance.

He never had greater alignment and equilibrium in any point in his life than when he walked with a limp. And what did Jacob name that place? Peniel. What does Peniel mean? It means I have seen God face to face and my life is preserved. There it is.

That is GOD'S divine balance because God does not break one thing without letting you behold another thing. In other words, jehovah broke jacob, but jacob beheld jehovah. I'M preaching to somebody in this house. YOU'RE in A broken season. You better go ahead and shout. IT'S just A setup for you to see the greatest revival and the greatest harvest and the greatest move of God YOU'VE ever seen.

And I'M not just preaching to young people here tonight. I'M preaching to A pastor. YOU'RE going back home to A mess. I want to preach to A pastor here today and tell you the mess YOU'RE dealing with back home. IT'S just God setting you up to have unprecedented endtime Apostolic revival. If you believe that you ought to shout right now, I'VE seen God face to face and my life is preserved.

And we read that story and we stop there. Look at what else the Bible says. Few verses later, it says, "The children of Israel eat not of the sinew which shrank unto this day." to this very day in Israel when they partake of an animal, they don't even touch the part of that animal that God weakened in Jacob because they understand when God breaks an area of your flesh, you don't go back and feed on that area of flesh. I want to tell somebody here tonight. It is God's job to adjust your alignment, but it's your job to adjust your appetite. Let me try that over here.

I said, it is God's job to adjust your alignment, but it is your job to adjust your appetite. People come into the house of God and he changes the way they walk, the way they talk, the way they think, the way they actuh the way they dress, but they DON'T change their lifestyle. They leave room and provision for the flesh and then they wonder why they struggle the rest of their life. You know what some of you young people need to go home and do? You need to go home and unfollow them. You need to go home and delete the playlist.

Go home and cancel the subscription. Go home and break up with them. Go home and disconnect from them. Go home and get it out of your closet. YOU'VE got to change your appetite. But I believe I am preaching to A generation that will say, "I'M not hungry for what I used to be hungry for.

I'M hungry for A vibe. I'M hungry for A move of God. I'M hungry for A demonstration. I'M hungry for the gifts of the spirit. I'M hungry for the glory. If THAT'S you here today, would you lift your voice and say, "I'M changing my appetite.

I'M come on. I'M H I'M changing my appetite.

Put Hosea 12 and 4 up on the screen quickly if you don't mind. Hosea 12 and 4. Bible said in Genesis that Jacob was left alone and Jacob was left alone. But here's what Hosea said about that same story. Yay, he had power over the angel and prevailed. He wept and made supplication unto him.

He found him in Bethel. Him, that's a singular. He found him in Bethel because he was alone. And there he spake with us. If Jacob was alone and God found Jacob in Bethel alone, how can Hosea also say when Jacob was alone that there he spake with us? It is because broken seasons are never just about you.

THEY'RE about everybody YOU'RE connected to. I was in prayer and the Lord spoke to me and said, "JACOB'S limp is what saved JACOB'S lineage." God DIDN'T just break jacob to break jacob. He broke jacob because there were 12 tribes that were going to come from his dna. Hey, I'VE come to tell somebody, you better be thankful God loved your kids and your grandkids enough to break your flesh. Because now your kids DON'T have to be A drunk like your daddy was A drunk. Somebody ought to shout about their family in this house right now.

I said because God broke your flesh, your marriage DOESN'T have to end in divorce. Like your PARENTS' marriage ends in divorce. He loved your lineage enough to give you that limp. Somebody lift your hands and let's pray all over the house. Come on, somebody pray in the holy ghost. Hey, I'M going to tell you, I'VE had to overcome some stuff.

I come from A family of dysfunction. I come from A genetic trait. I come from A A family tree of divorce. I come from that. But because God broke my flesh, me and emma herring are going to ride or die. Baby, WE'RE in this thing.

Until the end of time. You better be thankful that God broke your flesh. YOU'RE going to overcome what your family DIDN'T overcome. I'M telling somebody, you might be the first Apostolic in your family, but you DON'T have to be the last Apostolic in your family. YOU'RE going to start A new family tree. YOU'RE going to start A new lineage.

I wish somebody would shout for their kids and their grandkids and their great grandkids. You might come from A family tree of drug addicts and alcoholics and dysfunction but your descendants can be apostles and prophets. They can be prayer warriors and intercessors. They can be seniors and musicians. We live We live in a world.

We live in a world where everybody has a platform. I'm going try real hard not to meddle here. Everybody's got a platform. Tik Tok. I can hardly say that without gagging. Young preacher, if you got a Tik Tok, just just don't.

Everybody's got a platform. Tik Tok, Facebook, Instagram, you name it, YouTube. And there's this mindset that has crept into the apostolic church that tells this generation, if you want to be elevated, you got to do it yourself. I told somebody the other day, I I am this close to going to Goodwill and finding the most raggedy suit I can find and preaching at it at at every youth camp and convention I get asked to preach at to let this generation know the suit don't make the man, the man makes the suit. Cuz we come in and we're And I'm tired of watching young preachers afraid to get in the altar and weep until tears flow down their face because they don't want to mess up their suit. There's a mindset that says if you want to be elevated, you got to do it yourself.

But the rules are different in this kingdom. Brother Lewis, Jesus said, "He that humbleth himself shall be exalted. He that exalteth himself shall be abased. You know what that word abased means? Humiliated. The difference between humility and humiliation.

Is humility is voluntary. Humiliation is involuntary. This posture right here. That's not a posture of weakness. That's a posture of power. That's a posture of authority.

That's a posture that says, "God, I can't do this by myself." but we DON'T want to humble ourselves voluntarily because of something called reputation. Image and reputation go hand in hand. We have this certain image and it perpetuates a certain reputation and we're afraid if we humble ourselves it will put our image at risk and if it puts our image at risk it might damage our reputation. But what did paul have to say about reputation? He said, "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who being in the image of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God, but made himself of no reputation." if there was anybody that should have been able to come to the earth with A reputation, it should have been God manifest in the flesh. Jehovah ni, jehovah gyra, jehovah shalom, jehovah rafa, jehovah shama, jehovah sidanu, jehovah meccadsh, jehovah elohim, elohim adonai, wonderful counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting father, the prince of peace, the rock of ages, the ancient of days, the I am that I am, the root and the branch, the lion and the lamb.

But he laid that aside and without A reputation, he turned the world upside down. I bind that life that wants to tell you SOMEBODY'S got to know your name. YOU'VE got to have A pedigree. You got to be from the right side of town for God to use you. The devil is A liar. He can use you as A nobody.

He can use you from nowhere. He can use you with all of your brokenness. With all of your flaws, with all of your struggles, with all of your mistakes, somebody ought to shout in the DEVIL'S face right now and say, "god is going to use me. God is going to anoint me. Let's pray. Let's pray.

Let's pray. Let's pray. Brother Jaylen Young times The times that I've walked to the pulpit felt like God used me the greatest wasn't the times and I felt like I had it all together broken because when I'm broken Caleb is out of the way. Job remain standing. I'm I'm done. Music don't don't come just yet.

I'm getting there. I come from a broken home. I know what dysfunction is like. The first preacher in my family, first evangelist ever to be sent from my home church. God has been Those broken seasons of the pulling weren't just about me. God saw a little 12-year-old boy.

Just want to know why dad doesn't live here. He saw that little 12-year-old boy kneel down by his bed with tears streaming down his face. In that moment, he saw 20 years later in April of 2026 when I'd be preaching to other young people in this room. 12 Years old, God found me. But in that moment, he spoke to us.

Job went from being a man that had everything to a man that had nothing. Few short verses and he lost his health, his wealth, his livestock, his livelihood, his family, and his faith. His wife said, "Job, just curse God and die. And Job starts questioning God. And for 37 chapters, that's what he does. What have I done to deserve this, God?

Why am I going through what I'M going through right now, God? What sin did I commit for me to be this broken? Why me, God? Well, Job, why not you? You exempt from brokenness. And for 37 chapters, he questions God.

And then finally, God gets tired of the questioning. And the Bible says in chapter 38, God spoke through the whirlwind. You know what that's saying? That's King James language for saying God spoke through the storm. You got to understand something here tonight. God will not only always speak to you when the skies are blue and the birds are chirping and the flowers are blooming, but every now and then God will speak the most clearly whenever the clouds are gathering and the rain is falling and the lightning is flashing and the thunder is rolling.

And God spoke to him through the storm and said, "Okay, Job, you've had some questions for me. Now I'VE got some questions for you. Tell me if you have understanding. Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth and established the cornerstone thereof? Where were you when the morning stars shame together and the sons of God shouted for joy? You know what God was saying to Job?

It was A rhetorical question. He knew Job DIDN'T have the answer. But he was saying, Job, IT'S not for you to figure out. IT'S for you to trust me and understand. And you might feel like you're spinning out of control, but my hands, my hands are holding you in position. It ain't for you to figure out, Job.

It's for you to trust me and my sovereignty. Job says, "I looked on the left hand where he doth work and on the right hand, but I could not find him before me and I could not behold him behind me and God is nowhere to be found." He was saying, "I look north, south, east, and west, and where is God?" I'm going tell you, at 12 years old, when my world is falling apart, it was hard to see that silver lining and figure out God's in this. But after two decades, I can look back, Brother Lewis, and I can say he was there. Hold on. Hold on. He, Brother Peavey, he was there.

Never been a day, never been a minute, never been a moment that you weren't in it. Because Job goes on to say, "But he knows the way that I take." He was there, young person. What do you say?

What do you say to people? And I've encountered this. What do you say to the young lady who grew up in church and she backslides and now she's a lesbian and one Sunday she stumbles back into the house of God with her shaved head and her nose ring and her tattoos and her girlfriend is sitting right there next to her and she's just wanting to know, "Will God give me a second chance? I've encountered real situations just like that." What do you say to the young man who has samesex attraction? He DOESN'T want that attraction, but he was molested when he was 7 years old. That DOESN'T justify it.

That DOESN'T excuse it. But THERE'S A root to some of this stuff. What do you say to that person who comes from A broken home and they find affirmation in all the wrong places? What do you say to that young lady WHO'S pregnant out of wedlock? What do you say to that person whose marriage is unraveling? What do you say to that person who put the gun to their head before youth convention, but they DIDN'T pull the trigger because they said, "I'M going to give God one more shot." Yeah.

I'm telling you, suicide's going to let somebody go here tonight. What do you say to those kind of people? I'LL tell you what you say to those people. He was there. He was there. He was there.

He was there when you wept the tears. He was there when you felt overlooked. He was there when you were forgotten. Want you to make your way out of your seat. Music. You can come And I'm going to tell you, listen to me.

Hear me for a moment. I'm going to tell you this posture right here. This posture right here is one that we need to acquaint ourselves with tonight. It's okay to be broken. It's all right to be broken. Hear me.

Hear me. I'm going to leave you with this. If you're praying, I want you to listen to me for just a moment. If you're praying, listen to me for just a moment. Job wraps that verse up by saying, "For when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold." Kind of gold is he talking about? He was talking about gold that had been tried in the fire.

This is this is no new revelation. You've you've heard this. That gold Smith will take that gold in its impure form. And brother Drayen, he'll throw it in the fire and he'll take it out. And the gold doesn't understand why it has to go into the furnace. The gold says, "What's wrong with me?

What did I do to deserve this? And the smith takes that gold out and lays it on an anvil and he begins to beat it with a hammer. And the gold doesn't understand why it's having to be beat with a hammer. And then the smith takes the gold and puts it back in the fire and takes it out and beats it again and puts it back in the fire and takes it out and beats it again. Back in the fire and then takes it out and beats it again. And brother Mat the Smith will repeat this process until the gold is so pure and shines so brightly that the smith can see his reflection in the gold.

There's that spirit of symmetry. The gold becomes symmetrical with the smith. So the question here tonight is what do we care more about? His reflection or our reputation? I'd rather fall on my knees and say, "Jesus, I am broken. I wonder if we could find a place to pray here tonight.

Somebody needs to humble themselves. Come on. There's a sovereign move of the Holy Ghost. Somebody needs to humble themselves. If you need to repent of some things, tonight's the night to do it. There are giftings that are going to be released tomorrow and tomorrow night.

There are callings that are going to be issued tomorrow and tomorrow night, but right now, come on. I wonder if those of you still in your seat, if we could find a place to pray all the way back there in the back. I know there's not room around this altar, but can we find a place to pray? I don't want anybody just standing around observing. Come on, let's find a place to pray all over this house. Let's take on a posture of humility and say Jesus I'm broken but I want to behold your glory.

I want you to give me A Revelation of your divine balance. I want us to lift our voice before the music begins. Come on, LET'S raise the volume with our voices. Every voice lifted. There needs to be A cry of brokenness here today. GOD'S about to set some of you free of sins that have caused you to be broken.

Come on, let's lift our voice all the way to the back. Those of you on your face, LET'S lift our voices. Come on. That's it. That's it. Come on.

Let's push. Raise the volume a little bit louder. Raise the volume. Come on. That's it. Come on.

That's it. Lift your voice. There's never been a day, never been a minute, never been a moment that you never been a Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat.

Yeah. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat.

Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Yeah. Heat.

Heat. Jesus. Jesus. Heat. Heat. Heat.

Heat. Heat. Oh my god, you're Oh my god, you're everywhere. Heat. Heat. Heat.

Heat. Heat. Never been a day. Heat. Heat. Heat.

Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat.

Heat. Heat. Heat. I got mirales on mirales. A million little mir I got mirror mirles. I think you worship my worship.

I worship you. I worship you. I worship you in spirit and in truth. In my weakness, I worship you. This altar call has only been going about 10 minutes and I'm watching many of you get to a place where you're done praying. You're disengaged.

What this is, Jacob, is this is the breaking of day. You're right at that point that God wants you to get. They're going to go back into this song. But I'm asking you one more time, every eye closed, every voice lifted, and let's press into this. Come on, somebody wait out into the deep end of this thing. Let's lift our voices.

Let out that cry one more time. Somebody needs to learn how to linger in the Holy Ghost. Come on. That's it. That's it. Find somebody to pray with.

God's ministering to people in this room.
