Summary

Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.

A man sent from God

  • He opens with two readings: John the Baptist, "a man sent from God" (John 1:6), and Luke's account that "the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness" — John did not leave the wilderness until he had a word, and that wilderness was his secret place.
  • Before developing the text, he presses character over gifting: we can teach and preach what we know, but we impart out of who we are. Leaders live in a perpetual state of impartation; if a leader's spirit is not right, the bad transfers along with the good — his illustration is a church whose hired musicians, collecting a paycheck with their spirit out of alignment, leaked impurity into the atmosphere until the liberty of the service was capped.

Scriptures: John 1:6; Luke 3:2-3

Sent from, not just sent to

  • His subject is one word — sent — and the duality inside it: where you are sent FROM is just as important as where you are sent TO. It is hard to be sent to a pulpit if you are not sent from a prayer closet; God forbid we be sent to a city if we are not sent from submission and alignment. Sent from a secret place, an altar, and submission, a person can walk into a city and be a threat to the gates of hell.
  • God cares more about covenant than He does crowd: Jacob had to be made great in nature before he could be made great in number. John was not controlled by the masses; the masses were drawn to his difference.
  • Before every visitation God sends a voice, and the voice is a test: receive the voice and you receive the visitation; reject it and your house is left desolate, as Jesus told Jerusalem (Matthew 23). Isaiah's voice in the wilderness levels the resistance between humanity and its next visitation, and the glory of the Lord is revealed.

Scriptures: Isaiah (book-only, as spoken); Matthew 23

Do not cancel the messenger

  • Cancel culture has crept toward the apostolic movement: a preacher who preaches something strong can be cancelled for the message he received in the secret place. To cancel the man is to cancel the message; a message preached with the right spirit does not have to be agreed with in every point to be honored.
  • His own memory of being fifteen and sixteen: he wanted a preacher who would tell him how not to be lost — who would preach Acts 2:38, holiness and separation, how to dress, walk, talk, and act.

Scriptures: Acts 2:38

Ask for the old paths

  • Jeremiah was a teenager when God called him, in an age of spiritual syncretism — kingdom and culture assimilated until the lines were blurred and the pulpit had gone silent while the people loved it. The almond branch of Jeremiah's vision speaks of acceleration: God hastening His word, a quickened work in this generation, not waiting until they are forty, fifty, and sixty.
  • Jeremiah went to the great men for the ways of the Lord and they could not tell him (Jeremiah 5); so God told the young prophet's generation to ask for the old paths themselves. God raised up somebody young to reestablish something old — the path does not leave a people; a people leaves a path.
  • The old paths he names: holiness and separation — places we don't go, things we don't listen to, language we don't use, jokes we don't tell; the power of a woman's uncut hair, modesty and gender distinction, shamefacedness and sobriety; lingering in the altar, preaching without fear or favor, the gifts of the Spirit and the five-fold ministry, prayer and fasting.

Scriptures: Jeremiah 5

The forerunner: the King is coming

  • In Bible times a king sent a messenger ahead to announce that the king was on the way; Elijah, with the hand of the Lord on him, outran Ahab's chariot into Jezreel (1 Kings 18). John went forth in the spirit and power of Elijah — a different man, the same message: as Elijah preached that Jehovah was the one true God and God answered by fire, John preached that Jesus was the one true God and pointed to the one who would baptize with the Holy Ghost and fire.
  • As John prepared the earth for the first coming, this generation prepares it for the second: it is the eleventh hour, and the refrain of the message's back half is "The King is coming" — coming to your city, your church, your campus — clothed in a vesture dipped in blood, King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Scriptures: 1 Kings 18

Even the young man will run with the oil

  • Elijah never completed the assignment to anoint Jehu; Elisha, too old and weak for the journey to Ramoth Gilead, called a young nameless prophet, told him to gird up his loins and run with the oil (2 Kings 9). The writer's emphasis falls on verse 4: "So the young man, even the young man the prophet, went to Ramoth Gilead" — because of the urgency of the hour, even the young man carries the oil to a higher place than the last two generations.
  • Scripture never tells us that young prophet's name: can God trust you to be anointed and anonymous, in a generation preoccupied with highlight reels, platforms, and follows? The five-fold ministry is still in operation, and God will send some to metro cities and some to remote villages with no highlight reel — with apostolic authority that does not chase devils but is chased by them; counseling cannot solve what has to be cast out.
  • He closes with a dream: a basement room crammed shoulder to shoulder with millennials and Gen Z praying demonstratively for revival — no lights, no PA, no smoke, just hunger — and then a boardroom with empty seats at the table of the end time, where the wrong questions were about growing a crowd, and young men one by one took their seats as he declared that this generation wants the old paths, not a watered-down Book of Acts. He turns the convention into a prayer room and leads an extended altar prayer.

You can make your way back to your seat. Thank you so much, Brother Jaylen Young. And this worship team have just been top shelf and I'm so thankful for this atmosphere. I don't ever want to take what we feel here today for granted. I want to get as close to God as is legally acceptable. I want to get as close to him as I can.

My life be preserved. And I know that that sounds probably strange or extreme, but what other way is there to live for God? I want to turn your attention attention to John chapter 1 and verse number six. John chapter 1 and verse six. And I could stand here all night giving honor because that's how much honor is truly due. But God has smiled upon this district.

It has always had great leadership the last number of years under the leadership of Bishop Huntley. God has continued to smile upon this district and your district superintendent, Brother Linder, and his wife. I give them honor. And brother Peavey who I've only recently come to know and but it doesn't take long to be around somebody to know they're the real deal and he's the real deal. Brother Peavey, God bless you. And this entire youth committee and brother Matt and Brother Chance, promotions director and youth secretary.

I appreciate these men. And I just feel I just feel such a weight here today because last night there was some ground that was broken up. There were some things that were corrected and realigned and repented of and wept over. We emptied ourselves out. But I believe starting in this service, God is ready to pour back in. And there are giftings and callings that will be issued and released into this room.

And if you're hungry, it's for you. I've often said God is God is no respector of persons, but he is a respector of hunger. And if you can just be hungry for it, it's for you today. John chapter 1 and verse number six says, "There was a man sent from God whose name was John." There was a man sent from God whose name was John. I want to go to the Gospel of Luke, chapter 3. The latter part of verse number two says something that is significant for where we're going.

It says, "The word of God came unto John the son of Zachcharias in the wilderness." Everybody say, "The wilderness." Verse three says, "And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. John did not leave the wilderness until he had a word. And that wilderness for John the Baptist was the secret place. I want to talk to you here this morning about one word. That one word is sent. Sent.

God is sending this generation, but there is a lot that goes into being sent than just going sent. One more time, can we lay our Bibles down and let's lift our hands. This is our last service together. So I I wonder if we can just lift our voices and just crack this atmosphere open on this Friday morning. I know it's a morning service. I I understand the dynamic, but I'm not intimidated by that dynamic.

We're here for a move of God from the front to the back, from the left to the right. Let's lift our voices and raise the volume in this room. Come on, if you're hungry, let's raise the volume in this room. Your involvement in this determines how quickly we move on from this. Come on, somebody just close your eyes and get hungry for what God has for you in this service. Amen.

Let's clap our hands unto the Lord. God bless you. You can be seated. One of the things that has shifted throughout my life and ministry is that when I was younger, I was very impressed with men's giftings. But now that I'm a little bit older, I'm more impressed with men's character. We can teach what we know and we can preach what we know, but we impart out of who we are.

And there is a lot of emphasis in our movement on impartation and generational transfer. And I believe in all of that, but we as leaders have got to be sure that we know what we're imparting. When you are in ministry, whether you realize it or not, you live in a perpetual state of impartation. Because when people are in proximity to you, they are there are transfers that take place. People pick up things from who you are. And so we can teach what we know and we can preach what we know, but we impart out of who we are.

And this is both a weighty responsibility yet a dangerous responsibility. Because if a leader's spirit is not right, we are not just transferring the good, whether or not we care to admit it, we're also transferring the bad. I was in a church some time ago and I walked into the service and there was a certain level of liberty in that service but it was limited and most of the people in that building could not recognize the limitation of their liberty. Because they had become acclimated to that atmosphere. But stepping into that atmosphere for the first time, someone who is not acclimated, it's one of the first things that they pick up on. Something's not right.

And I found out later that the musicians of that church are essentially just hired musicians. I'm not talking about a full-time worship leader. I'm talking about hired musicians, as in they show up for Sunday, they show up for midweek, they play their instruments, and they go home. It is just a paycheck to them. And this is not their fault. This is the leadership's fault.

It's going to get better here this morning. I promise. Stay with me. But because they are essentially just collecting a paycheck week after week, their spirit is not in alignment with the vision and the message and the doctrine of the leadership. And what is happening is in their position of impartation when they play those instruments they are doing more than just playing an instrument but the ancillary particles of their spirit are being released into the atmosphere and the impurity of their spirit is colliding with the purity of God's spirit and it creates a tension in the atmosphere. But God is raising up individuals in this hour who care more about character and integrity and being in alignment with God and having a pure upright spirit more than they care about talent and popularity and notoriety and platforms.

And those are the kind of ministries that shift the atmosphere. Bible says that John was a man sent from God. That's that is a loadbearing verse. John was a man sent from God. And John spent most of his time in the wilderness. So much so that if John stayed in the wilderness too long, the people wouldn't wait for him to come to them.

But they would leave all the region round about and they would go to the wilderness to hear what John had to say. There is an emphasis that scripture places on the nature of God. We place a lot of emphasis on numbers and crowds and drawing the multitudes and the masses. But I want this generation to understand here today, God cares more about covenant than he does crowd. Jesus is coming back for a bride even if the bride is the smaller crowd. That's why Jacob had to go through the wrestling match because prior to Jbok, Jacob did not have the nature of God.

And so God said, "Jacob, I've got to make you great in nature before I make you great in number. And when I make you great in nature, then I can make you great in number. Our job is not to grow crowds. Our job is to bring people into covenant relationship with Jesus Christ. So John was not controlled by the masses, but the masses were drawn to his difference. And the text that I read in your hearing tonight said that the word of God came unto John the son of Zachcharias in the wilderness.

All throughout scripture there is a sinister sound with that word wilderness. There is a negative connotation around the word wilderness. It is often associated with wandering, with confusion, with dysfunction, with danger, with judgment, with the demonic. But for John the Baptist, the wilderness was the secret place. For the prophetic, the wilderness is a place that the prophet retreats to to hear the word of God come to him before he opens up his mouth and speaks what thus saith the Lord. It is the habitation of the herald.

For the populace, the wilderness was a strange place. But to the prophet of God, the wilderness was a safe place. And he was sent from the wilderness into the region. And we place a lot of emphasis in this generation about go ye into all the world and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. We place a lot of emphasis on this generation about answering the call. We emphasize to this generation about being sent into the four corners of the earth.

But we never talk about where we have to be sent from. We only talk about where we have to be sent to. Can I tell this generation there is a duality of being sent. There is a balance to being sent. It is come on. What is important about being sent is where you are sent from is just as important as where you're sent to.

Can I tell this generation here today, it is hard for me to be sent to a pulpit if I'M not sent from A prayer closet. I said it is hard for me to be sent to a pulpit if I am not sent from A prayer closet. God forbid we be sent to a city. If we're not sent from submission, God forbid we be sent to an area, if we are not sent from alignment, but when you are sent from A secret place, when you are sent from an altar, when you are sent from submission, you can walk into a city, and you can be a threat to the gates of hell. John was that voice in the wilderness crying out, "Prepare ye the way of the Lord." God rebuked the prophets of Jeremiah's day and said, "You've not been standing in my counsel." And because you've not been standing in my counsel, you prophesy when I've not spoken to you. You run, but I have not sent you.

If you would have stood in my counsel, if you would have gone to that secret place and heard what I had to say, the words that left your lips would have turned the people's hearts from their wicked ways. And the purpose of John the Baptist ministry was to be a voice crying in the wilderness, prepare ye the way of the Lord.

And Isaiah said, when you hear that voice in the wilderness, every mountain and hill will be brought low. Every rough path will be made straight. Every crooked path will be made straight. Every rough path will be made plain. And every valley would be exalted. What Isaiah was saying is when you hear that voice crying in the wilderness.

The resistance between humanity and their next visitation will be moved out of the way. And the result of this will be the glory of the Lord shall be revealed to humanity. For the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it. What is the mouth of the Lord? It is that prophet named John the Baptist that was sent from God that was sent from the secret place. And what has happened is cancel culture has crept into the apostolic movement.

Allow the spirits of this culture to creep into the apostolic movement. It is nothing for a celebrity to say something that people do not agree with or an athlete to say something that do not agree with. As a matter of fact, in the last few weeks, there is an NBA player that said the NBA support of the LGBTQ community is unrighteous. And he was cut from the team and they said that his behavior is detrimental to the organization that he was a part of. We have got to make sure we do not let cancel culture creep into the apostolic movement. If a man preaches a message that we consider to be strong or maybe a little more right leaning than what we are personally, THAT'S no excuse to cancel that man.

Because YOU'RE not just cancelling the man, you're cancelling the message that he got in a secret place. I understand it's one thing to preach it with a bad spirit, but if a man walks to a pulpit and preaches it with the right spirit, you DON'T have to agree with everything that he says. But you also better make sure you don't cancel him because of it. But I believe I am preaching to a generation in this house that will say we want an unfettered pullpit we want A man of God to walk to that pulpit WHO'S been in the secret place and preach what thus saith the Lord. Is there A generation in this house THAT'LL lift their voice and say we want you to preach it straight? We want you to tell us to save ourselves from this untoward generation.

I DON'T know about you, but when I was 15 and 16, I wanted A preacher to tell me how to not be lost. I wanted him to preach Acts 2:38. I wanted him to preach holiness and separation. I wanted him to preach about how to dress, how to walk, how to talk, how to act. Because there is an unbreakable pattern in the Bible. Before God ever sends a visitation, he always sends a voice that precedes the visitation.

And those that heard the voice had a decision to make. We can either receive the voice or we can reject the voice. The voice was a test for the visitation. That's why Jesus said in Matthew 23, "Oh Jerusalem, oh Jerusalem, thou that klest the prophets." He was saying, "You're doing to me just like your fathers have done to all of the prophets before me." They didn't like their message, so they killed the man. And because of this, Jesus said, "Your house will be left unto you desolate." He was saying because you rejected the voice, the glory that comes after the voice, you will not experience that visitation. And what is happening right now is God is sending voices throughout the earth that are calling the apostolic church back to the old paths.

And as the body of Christ, we have a decision to make. Will we receive the voice or will we reject the voice? And the voice is a test for the visitation. If you reject the voice, you DON'T receive the visitation. But if you receive the voice, you receive the visitation. Where we are in 2026 is we are on the verge of end time revival.

We are on the verge of Jesus returning. We stand at the very edge of the greatest move of God that the world has ever seen. But we've got to make sure we DON'T reject the voices that preede the visitation. So, it's just as important where we're sent from as where we are sent to because God spoke to Jeremiah and said, Jeremiah, he's he's a teenager at this point. And God spoke to Jeremiah and said, Jeremiah, before you were formed in the belly, I knew thee, and I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee as a prophet unto the nations. But when God called Jeremiah is just as important as why God called Jeremiah because the Bible says that he looks at Jeremiah and he says, "What do you see?" and Jeremiah said, "I see an almond branch." and God said, "you have rightly seen.

I will hasten my word to perform it." whenever you see an al almond branch in scripture, you've got to understand that an almond branch blossoms sooner than all of the other trees. An almond branch bears fruit sooner than all of the other trees. When you see an almond branch in scripture, it speaks of acceleration. It speaks of a hastening. It speaks of A quickening. You know what God was saying to Jeremiah?

He was saying what I'M about to do through you and your generation IT'S going to be an accelerated work. And in this house there are apostles and prophets evangelists, pastors and teachers and I hear the holy ghost saying we DON'T have time to wait until YOU'RE 40 and 50 and 60 before we release you to be what you are. But YOU'RE going to leave this youth convention walking in Apostolic authority. And God is going to send the FIVE-FOLD ministry into the four corners of the earth. But when God called Jeremiah is just as important as why God called Jeremiah. God called Jeremiah in a very unique time in Israel's history.

In Israel's history, at the time of Jeremiah, this teenage boy, it was a time where there was spiritual syncretism. It was cultural assimilation. It was the joining together of kingdom and culture. And spiritual syncretism is when two different forms of religion are mixed together to create a new system of worship. They had blurred the lines between kingdom and culture. Things that were allowed 20 and 30 and 40 years ago.

The nation of Israel had now become more tolerable and more accepting and embracing of those things in culture. And there had been an assimilation of kingdom and culture to the point that it created a new system of worship. And so God spoke to Jeremiah and said, "I am raising you up to redraw the lines of demarcation between my kingdom and the culture that surrounds my kingdom." And part of the problem was the Bible says in Jeremiah that the prophets prophesy falsely, the priests function of their own authority. And and he says, "My people love it." So the pulpit had gone silent. Nobody was saying what needed to be said and the people loved it and it began to perpetuate year after year after year. And so Jeremiah says, "I'm looking for the ways of the Lord." And in chapter 5, the Bible says that Jeremiah says, "I will get me unto the great men." He said, "If there's anybody that can point me in the right direction for the way of the Lord, it's those men that it is those it is those great men of the kingdom." But when he asked those great men, they could not tell him where the ways of the Lord are.

And I am thankful here today that that is not the case in the apostolic church. There are great men that have gone before us that have never wavered from the old paths. But there is an assimilation that I am noticing in the Apostolic movement between kingdom and culture where things of culture are becoming more tolerable and are becoming more acceptable. And because Jeremiah could not find the ways of the Lord from the great men, the Bible says that God looks at Jeremiah and he says, "you in your generation, you better ask for the old paths and find out where is the way of the Lord." you know what is so powerful about God calling Jeremiah? God raised up somebody young to reestablish something old. I said God raised up somebody young to reestablish something old.

YOU'VE got to understand concerning the old paths. You want to know where the old paths are? THEY'RE where THEY'VE always been. Because the path does not leave A people. A people leave A path. And I'VE come to preach to this generation and say it is time for this generation to reestablish the old paths.

Come on. We still believe in holiness and separation. We still believe that there are some ways we DON'T dress. There are some places we DON'T go. THERE'S some things we DON'T listen to. THERE'S some languages we DON'T talk.

THERE'S some come on. THERE'S some jokes we DON'T tell. WE'VE got to get back to the old paths of the power of A WOMAN'S uncut hair. WE'VE got to get back to the old paths of modesty and gender distinction. WE'VE got to get to the old paths of shamefacedness and sobriety. WE'VE got to get to the old paths of lingering in the altar.

WE'VE got to get to the old paths of preaching it without fear nor favor. WE'VE got to get to the old paths of the gifts of the spirit of the FIVE-FOLD ministry. WE'VE got to get to the old paths of prayer and fasting. I want to know, is there A generation here today THAT'LL say, "I want the old paths." And so the angel of the Lord shows up to John the Baptist and says or to Zachcharias and says, "Your wife Elizabeth is with child and and and and and you're going to have a son and his name will be called John and he will be a prophet of the most high God." And the purpose of this ministry is going to be to prepare the way of the Lord. He will be a forerunner of the most high God. YOU'VE got to understand that being A forerunner was not A concept that was introduced with John the baptist.

But it goes all the way back to the old testament. Because in Bible times in Bible times it was customary that when A king was about to enter a city he would send A messenger before him to let the city know that the king is on the way. It was the voice that prepared for the visitation of the king. THAT'S why in first Kings chapter 18, the Bible said the hand of the Lord was on Elijah and he outran the chariot of Ahab into the city of jezrael. He was anointed with an acceleration to let jezrael know DON'T be deceived. THERE'S one that is coming after me.

I'VE come to tell this generation, God is going to send you into the four corners of the earth. To let the world know, the king is coming. The king is coming. YOU'VE got to leave this youth convention and YOU'VE got to run. And YOU'VE got to tell your campus ministry. YOU'VE got to tell your P7.

YOU'VE got to tell your neighbors. YOU'VE got to tell your church. YOU'VE got to tell your community. The king is coming. The king is coming. Come on, somebody lift your voice in this house and give God A great big shout of praise and let him know we want to be sent to let the world know the king is coming.

And that angel told Zachcharias, "Your son John will go forth in the spirit and the power of Elijah." It was a different man, but the same message. It was a different prophet, but the same power. It was A different servant, but the same spirit. The reason John went forth in the spirit and power of Elijah is because Elijah was A prophet that called down fire from heaven and preached that jehovah was the one true God. And just as Elijah preached that jehovah was the one true God. And that God answered by fire, it was John that preached Jesus was the one true God.

And he said, "I do indeed baptize you with water under repentance but THERE'S coming one after me whose shoes I am not worthy to bear." and he will baptize you with the holy ghost and with fire just as John prepared the earth for the first coming of Jesus. This generation is about to prepare the earth for the second coming of Jesus Christ. You got to get it here today. IT'S the 11TH hour. We DON'T have time to wait for you to make up your mind. We DON'T have time to wait for you to figure it out.

We need you now. I said we need come on. We need you now. I wish somebody would jump to their feet and lift their voice and say, "I'M going to make up my mind today. I'VE got to tell the world the king is coming. Come on, LET'S clap our hands unto the Lord.

Lift your voice. Come on. We got to break this atmosphere right now. We got to break this atmosphere. I'm telling you, we DON'T have time to wait until you are 40 and 50 and 60. Before you make up your mind, this is what YOU'RE going to do.

I'M going to say it until somebody gets it. The king is coming. I said the king is coming. I'VE come to tell this generation. God is about to send A visitation into the earth that is going to turn the world upside down. But IT'S not going to happen in 50 and 60 years.

We are right on the edge of Jesus coming back. You got to run and tell the city the king is coming. The king is coming. That come on. And when he gets here, he'll be clothed in A vesture dipped in blood. In righteousness HE'LL judge and make war.

A sword will go out of his mouth and with it HE'LL rule the nations. And on his vesture and his thigh will be written A name. The king of Kings and the Lord of lords. THAT'S who you're preparing the way for. The King is coming. The King is coming.

And if you believe he's coming to your city, you ought to shout right now. If you believe he's coming to your church, you ought to dance in this house. HE'S coming. The king is coming. The Come on. HE'S coming to Michigan.

HE'S coming to north Carolina. HE'S coming to Wisconsin. HE'S coming to Indiana. He's coming. He's coming. Somebody lift your voice and pray in the Holy Ghost.

Come on. I came to ignite something in you.

God tells Elijah, he says, "Elijah, go anoint Jehu. Go anoint Jehu as the next king of Israel. And Elijah doesn't complete the assignment. He's carried away in a chariot of fire before he can go anoint Jehu as the king of Israel. And then that prophetic ministry shifted and Elisha picks up that mantle and there's unfinished business from the last generation. But when you study Elisha, he gets too old and weak to make the journey to Ramoth Gilead where Jehu is.

Ramoth Gilead means the high place of Gilead. And there's still unfinished business, brother Linder. And because he gets too old and weak to make the journey, the Bible says in 2 Kings chapter nine that he calls for a young nameless prophet. And he tells him, "gird up your loins and take this oil." and you go to Ramoth Gilead and you walk into that room where where Jehu is and you pour that oil on his head and you say, "Thus saith the Lord, I have anointed thee as the king of Israel." why did he tell him to gird up his loins? IT'S because he wanted that young man to understand THERE'S unfinished business in the last two generations. And the urgency of the hour demands you to run with the oil.

And so that young nameless prophet he he he girds up his loins and he runs with an accelerated pace to the high place of Ramoth Gilead. And he walks into the room and he pours the oil on Jehu and says, "thus saith the Lord, I have anointed thee as king of Israel." And look at what 2 Kings chapter 9 and verse number four says. It said, "so the young man, even the young man of even the young man the prophet went to Ramoth Gilead." I want you to look at the wording there. So the young man, even the young man the prophet went to Ramoth Gilead. IT'S like the writer was saying we would have expected Elijah to do it or we would have expected Elisha to do it but because of the urgency of the hour even the young man will carry the oil. You know what I hear the holy ghost saying to this generation?

It is A spirit of discouragement that says we would have expected Billy Cole to do it. We would have expected Verbal Bean to do it. We would have expected G. A. Mangun to do it. We would have expected Nona Freeman to do it.

We would have expected James Kilgore and J. T. Pew and tww Barnes to do it. But because of the urgency of the hour, even A 14-YEAR-OLD will go to a higher place than the last two generations. Come on. You got to get it here today.

The king is coming. The king is coming. We DON'T have time to wait. You got to leave this convention running as fast as you can. Somebody ought to make up in their mind right now, I'M done fighting the call of God. I'M done running away from the call of God.

I'M about to grab this ho and I'M going to run and let the city know the king is coming. The king is coming. Anybody excited about the king coming back? Somebody pray in the holy ghost. Come on. You got to run with it.

You got to run with it.

You know what's amazing about that, Brother Linder? Is scripture never tells us the name of that young prophet. He carried the oil to a higher place than the last two generations and nobody knows his name. The question here today is can God trust you to be anointed and anonymous? Well, that's a hard pill to swallow in this generation because it's all about the highlight reel. It's all about the platform.

It's all about the notoriety. IT'S all about the clicks and the likes and the follows. But I believe God will set this generation free from being worried about all of this stuff that DOESN'T matter. You know what this is all about, brother young. You know what IT'S about, brother mat. You know what IT'S about, brother johnson.

The king is coming. The king is coming. The king is coming. HE'S coming. He come on. I said you ought to shout about the king coming back.

YOU'RE being sent hey, YOU'RE being sent to the seven N YOU'RE being sent to the seven continents. Come on. YOU'RE going to go to Europe. YOU'RE going to go to Asia. YOU'RE going to go to north America. YOU'RE going to go to south America.

YOU'RE going to go to Australia. YOU'RE going to go to Africa. Why? Because the king is coming. I said that. Hey, you ought to shout in this house.

If you believe revival is about to hit your city, I DON'T understand why IT'S even a debate if apostles and prophets still exist. Why don't you just rip out a few pages of the Bible while you're at it? I'm not trying to be unkind here today, but the five-fold ministry is still very much in operation. You don't believe in apostles? You ever heard of a guy named Allan Shom? Well, you can hear a pin drop right now.

Apostles and prophets. God is raising up this generation as apostles and prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to go into the four corners of the earth. And here's the catch. Nobody may ever know your name, but the king is coming. You want to know what God's going to do in some of you? There are some of you, God ain't going to send everybody to a metro city.

The metro cities need it. But there are some of you that God is going to send to A remote village in A third world country. And there might not be A highlight reel that know that gives you the credit for it. But YOU'LL walk into that village with A bunch of tribal people and Apostolic authority. And the gospel will be preached. And God will turn that entire nation up.

Hey, the king is coming. The king is coming. The king is coming.

We will never conquer the spirits of our city depending on academia and intellectualism and counseling. We're just way off in it here tonight. And I believe in all of that. I'm furthering my education right now. But a degree don't give you dominion. And devil possession, casting out devils is something that is foreign to this generation.

There are young preachers right now that have never seen somebody that have never seen somebody possessed with a devil. That has never cast the devil out because what we do is if they have demonic presence, if they have A demonic influence in their life, we want to send them to counseling. I'M going to tell you here today, counseling cannot solve A spiritual problem. I I believe in psychologist. I believe in therapy. I believe in counseling.

I know there is real cases of mental health, but we CAN'T lump everything into that category. I'M going to tell you here today, God wants to use this generation. Because these signs shall follow them that believe. In my name shall they cast out devils. You can't cancel out what has to be cast out. You can't diagnose what has to be delivered.

You can tell a devil possessed person they need to pop pills until they're blue in the face and it won't even touch that spirit that's tormenting their life. Oh, hold on. Hold on. I'm I'm trying to awaken this generation to something because Jesus sent his disciples with power and authority. True apostolic authority doesn't chase devils. I'm not a devil chaser.

Devils chase true apostolic authority. Brother Linder, I've never had to go looking for a devil, but somehow they find me. I was preaching at a church one time and I was taking my text and there was a young lady jumped up out of her seat and runs up on the platform and she comes up next to the pulpit and she gets about this close to my face. The Holy Ghost spoke to me and said, "Ignore her." The ushers came and took her and settled her down. I finished preaching and She was standing near the altar with her eyes closed. And when I walked in front of her, her eyes popped open and she began to lunge at me and try to grab me and she said, "I know who you are.

You have the spirit of John the Baptist and I was sent here for you." And the Lord spoke to me and said, "Walk away. Don't even acknowledge her." She came back to church later that night and I began to preach about the mighty God in Christ. And when I got to the scripture that says, "Thou that believest in one God, thou doest as well. The devils also believe and tremble." She began to shake violently in her seat. And she couldn't take it anymore. She jumped out of her seat, ran down the middle aisle, out the back door, and never came back.

Hey, I'M going to tell you, I'M thankful for the lights and for the screens and for the excellence. Come on. I'M thankful for all of that. But the spirit world is not threatened by that. You want to know WHAT'LL shake the spirit of your city? When you get to that secret place and God endues you with authority and with power and you open up your mouth and begin to speak things into the atmosphere.

The king is coming. King is coming. King is coming. Let's lift our hands and let's wait on the Lord for a moment. Every eye closed, let's just listen and wait for a moment. We're at a moment here.

The gifts want to operate. If nobody yields to it, we're going to move on. Every eye closed, let's be sensitive to the Lord. Such a voice. Be holy. Be I'm telling you.

I'm telling you. Listen to me. I'm telling you what I have noticed in this generation. This generation is hungry for the real. We have crossed a threshold in society. We've crossed a threshold with artificial intelligence.

It's not going away. It's just going to ramp up from here. But brother Mat, what artificial intelligence has done is it has awakened a desire in this generation for the real. Because even among secular society, people are tired of looking at their phone wondering, is this real? This generation wants to be exposed to apostolic ministry. They want to be exposed to the real.

They don't want a fettered pulpit. They don't want it watered down. They don't want it sugarcoated. It's too late in the game for all of that. King is coming. So, here it is.

I'm gonna I'm gonna leave you with this. Trying to move on, but we're in a moment right here. You feel the weight of that? The king is coming. We're we're we're at a place of decision in the apostolic movement where we have to start asking ourselves. What do we want?

Is all we care about the crowds and being seeker friendly and the affirmation of our prayers? Or do we want to prepare the way for the king to show up? Here it is. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on.

Hold on. I I I I want you to just I want you to let this just settle in your spirit.

I'm going to share a dream with you the Lord gave me several months ago, and then I'm I'm done. I'm out of the way. My wife and I were preaching in Florida several months ago. And one night, the Lord gave me a dream. And in this dream, it was one of the most vivid dreams I've ever had. It felt felt so real.

In this dream, I walked into a church and I entered the foyer and I saw two double doors. They were a light oak wooden set of double doors. And I thought those double doors led to the sanctuary. And so I opened the doors. And brother Linder, it didn't lead to the sanctuary. It led to a staircase.

And the staircase was descending. And so I followed the staircase. And the further down the staircase I went, I could hear what sounded like an innumerable number of people. It sounded like thousands upon thousands of people. It was the roar of a crowd. And finally, it dawned on me.

They're praying. When I got to the bottom of the staircase, all I could see in this room, shoulder to shoulder, crammed in that room, were millennials and Gen Z. That's it. There were no elders. It was only millennials and Gen Z. And they were praying the most demonstrative prayers I had ever seen.

I saw young people laying out across the floor pounding their fist with tears streaming down their face saying, "God, we want revival." I could see people rocking back and forth, tears just flowing down their face, praying in tongues. It was concrete floor, cinder block walls, no lights, no pa system, no smoke, just hunger. I left that room and I walked back up the staircase. When I reached the top of the staircase, I thought it would lead me back into the foyer of this church. But this time, when I opened the double doors, the scene of the dream changed. And I stepped into a boardroom and there were some sitting around the table in that boardroom, but there were some seats that were empty, which let me know there are some that have not yet taken their seat of authority at the table of the end time.

And they started asking me questions, but it was all the wrong questions. They said, "Brother Herring, how do we grow A crowd? How do we appeal to the masses? How do we help our attention rate?" And in the dream, I responded and said, "If we do not have a revival of a culture of prayer, we will miscarry everything God wants us to birth." And in the dream, I took that statement a step further and I said, "Furthermore, if we birth it anyway into an atmosphere where there is no culture of prayer, we will then be expecting an unfit mother to raise the baby." And then all of a sudden a boldness came over me in that dream and I said, "by the way, this generation does not want A watered down version of the book of Acts. THEY'RE not interested in religious tradition and going through the motions. They DON'T want compromise.

They want the old paths." and when I said that, there were young men that were not in that boardroom at the beginning. And they started stepping into that boardroom and they were saying, "amen, brother herring. We believe that, brother herring. We want that, brother herring." and one by one, I watch those young men take their seat at the table of the end time. I'M telling you, God is going to raise up people in Apostolic authority. Some of them, YOU'LL never know their name.

They may never have A position in our organization, but they will take their seat at the table of the end time.

Well, here it is. Are you ready? I'm gonna make it hard on you. Music ain't going to come to bail you out right now cuz we're good at going high, but we struggle to go deep. This music's team been has been awesome. You won't find any better.

And they're on board with what I'm saying right now. What's about to happen is we're about to turn youth convention into a prayer room. Hold on. Hold on. We're about to turn youth convention into a prayer room. And those of you that don't know how to pray until something breaks, you're about to learn.

There's got to be that grit in you that says, "I'm not quitting until I leave this place different than the way that I came." Here we go. Are you ready? Here's what's going to happen. Here was Hold your clap. Hold your clap. Here's what's going to happen.

Because again, I'm not trying to be unkind, but sometimes we clap just to get the preacher to move on. You got to let this settle in your spirit and understand what's really about to happen in this atmosphere. There are about to be callings that are administered in this room. God is about to burden some of you with parts of the world you've never even thought of. God is about to anoint you and send you from this youth convention. And when you leave here, you're not going to walk with it.

You're going to run with it. And you're going to tell the world the king is coming. Are you ready? When I count to three, I want this place to erupt with the sound of prayer. This is a voice activated kingdom. You want this atmosphere to shift, you lift your voice and begin to pray.

And I promise you, something from another world will step into this room. Are you ready? If you're not hungry, you can be dismissed. But if you're hungry for what I'm preaching about, when I count to three, this place needs to erupt with the sound of vibrant, effectual, fervent prayer. Are you ready? Every eye closed by the authority of the word of God and the power of the name of Jesus.

I call forth the greatness that is in this room. And I command you to stir up the gift that is in you. I speak to apostles and prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. And I command you to be awakened right now. I bind every spirit of discouragement, doubt, unbelief. I speak to that right now and I command it to go.

And God, I pray right now you would baptize this generation with the anointing of acceleration to let the world know the king is coming. Are you ready? One. Come on, get ready. Lift your voice. Two.

Here it comes. Three. Go. Go. Go. Go.

You got to go after it. The king is coming. The king is coming. The king is coming. That's it. Lift your voice.

Lift your voice. DON'T wait on the music. IT'S about your hunger right now. Go. Go. Come on.

I want to urge you to get in a posture of prayer. If you can't pray and tap in standing up, we need to fall on our face. Or find somewhere to pray. I want to challenge you right now to lift your voice. Come on, lift your voice. We got to let the world know the king is coming.

The king is coming. The king is coming. Come on. I'M looking for A young man THAT'S hungry that'll fall on his face and say, "I'VE got to run with the oil because the king is coming. Come on, lift your voice. Raise the volume here today.

The king is coming. Come on. Heat. Heat. Heat up here. Come on.

It's here. It's here. IT'S here. IT'S here. Somebody go after it right now. I want to challenge you to break the box of your limitations.

Come on. You need to take the muzzle off of your prayer. IT'S here. It's here. You are anointed. You have been brought into the kingdom for such A time as this.

Go after it. Go after it. DON'T back up. DON'T back up. Somebody begin to pray in the Holy Ghost. Come on.

Press. Press. I want you to lift your voice like you know the king is really coming. Come on. We got to come on. WE'VE got to accelerate this thing.

The LORD'S going to hasten his word. Lift your voice in this house. YOU'LL never be the same, young man. YOU'LL never be the same, young lady. The king is coming. The king is coming.

That's it. There it is. There it is. IT'S starting to break. Come on. Over against the wall.

Lift your voice all the way to the back. Begin to let there be A crescendo of your prayer here today.
