Summary
Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.
Get Back Balak: The Readings and the Charge
- He opens sensing a clear sound from the Spirit this week, noting that Jesus said seven times, "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the church" — it is not happenstance or coincidence.
- He reads how Israel took the cities of Heshbon: Sihon, king of the Amorites, had already taken the former king of Moab's land, so Israel had defeated the one who had defeated their next opponent.
- He reads on: Israel camps in the plains of Moab on the side of the Jordan across from Jericho — within eyesight, within arm's reach of their promise.
- Balak, son of Zippor and king of Moab, is exceedingly afraid of the numerous people and sends messengers to Balaam at Pethor: "Come at once and curse this people for me... for I know that he whom you bless is blessed and he whom you curse is cursed."
- He announces his send-off subject, "Get Back Balak," and leads a prayer for a word that will give direction, dominion, and power.
Scriptures: Numbers 21:25-26; Numbers 22:1-6
Learning to Embrace Enmity
- He commends the previous day's hard preaching by his associate pastor, Brother Rhodes — saying that having Netflix means you are not right with God takes guts at a conference, and such apostolic voices must not be crucified or criticized.
- He tells of a visiting apostle at his church's first real revival after the plant, who told the assembled pastors they had dropped Sunday-night church to go home and watch football — while Green himself did not have Sunday-night church and felt his face fill with blood.
- The Lord named the feeling for him in that moment: "That's enmity... your carnal mind is enmity against my will and my spirit."
- His conclusion: we need to embrace enmity more than we do — it has simply been a long time since many have felt it.
From Walking to Warring: Balak's Three Attacks
- Israel wandered 38 years learning how to walk, consecrate, and separate; in the final two years before the promise, God had to teach them how to fight — you cannot just walk in Canaan, you have to war.
- The shift ran from walking to warring, consecrating to conquest, survival to revival, hiding to harvesting; in 18 months they defeated the Amalekites, the Canaanites, and the Amorites of Sihon and of Og — over 60 cities and armies — slaves whom nobody could defeat, declaring that no weapon formed against them could prosper and that greater is He that is in them than he that is in the world.
- Balak, terrified, attacked on three fronts; first came a secular attack — he offered Balaam the soothsayer money, prestige, prominence, position, and power.
- When that failed, a spiritual attack: a king and a soothsayer on a mountain trying to curse a people going about their daily routine, wholly unaware their destiny and promise were being targeted.
- When cursing failed, Balaam — full of greed, calling Jehovah his God while being his own god, drunk on his own anointing — supplied the third attack: "We can't curse them, but I do know we can seduce them."
Seduction at Acacia Grove: Deliverance Is Not Dominion
- He reads the outcome: while Israel camped at Acacia Grove, some of the men defiled themselves by having sexual relations with local Moabite women.
- Verse 2 shows how it happened — the women only invited them to attend: there is nothing wrong with just attending, just watching; then, in the same movement, the Israelites feasted with them and worshiped the gods of Moab, joining in the worship of Baal of Peor.
- The Lord's anger blazed, Moses was commanded to seize the ringleaders and execute them before the Lord in broad daylight, and 24,000 people died — no devil in hell could curse them, but a serpent could seduce them.
- His burden: we need more than deliverance — we need dominion; too many have learned the cycle of Sunday breakthrough and then Monday and Tuesday in the bottom of the valley.
- Goosebumps are not glory: he felt something hearing Whitney Houston's national anthem over a PA at a Branson water show, and a gifted soothsayer like Balaam can put a goosebump on your flesh — but the true worshipers worship the Father in spirit and in truth, and the glory requires the truth.
Scriptures: Numbers 25:1-4
The Subtle Seduction: A Good Life Short of God's Will
- A seducing spirit will let a young person become a minister and still compromise the fulfillment of the call — including causing them to marry a good spouse who is not the spouse of God's will.
- He pictures the end of such a life: 100 souls won, a celebration-of-life funeral, the saved standing in gratitude — while the devil laughs in the corner, because the will of God was 10,000 souls and the Father's "well done" hits a brick wall.
- A man of God praying for him a few weeks earlier relayed God's answer to "What is Chris Green?": "Chris Green is a wrecking ball" — and wrecking balls have feelings too; when he sees a wall, the anointing hits him and he goes through it.
- The seductive spirit's whole ask is small: "Just show up. You don't have to worship. Just attend" — you ain't got to smoke where we smoke or drink where we drink.
- You have no dominion over devils you dance with and no dominion over devils you dine with; and the rich young ruler walked away sorrowful — offended, in his reading of the word — because luxury makes people easily offended, a luxury this hour cannot afford.
The Spirit Speaks Expressly: Paul's Word to Timothy
- Paul told the young man Timothy that the Spirit "speaketh expressly" — directly, plainly, clearly, without playing games — and that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils.
- He defines "seduce": to persuade someone and take away their innocence, to lead astray with corruption — to attract, allure, tempt, entice, trap, charm, captivate, enchant, hypnotize, mesmerize, tantalize, bewitch, and deceive.
- Verse 2's speakers of lies in hypocrisy, their consciences seared with a hot iron, are people in the church — men of God.
- Paul, though not the pastor of Timothy's church, told him what to preach to it: put the brethren in remembrance of these things and you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine.
- He reads verse 7 as the NLT gives it — do not waste time arguing over godless ideas and old wives' tales; instead train yourself to be godly — and verse 11: these things command and teach.
- Verse 12: let no man despise your youth, but be an example of the believers in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, and in purity.
- Timothy's resistance was fear — of losing people, of being told he was too young — and that fear grows out of pride, the desire to be exalted by men and to grow a crowd instead of build a church; hence verse 14: do not neglect the spiritual gift, for God did not give the spirit of fear.
Scriptures: 1 Timothy 4
The Rebuke at the Louisiana Camp Meeting
- Invited to preach the Louisiana camp meeting his heroes — Stoneking, Jeff Arnold, T. W. Barnes — had preached, he studied and fasted with fresh sermons ready to impress; on the way, thieves broke into the rental car and stole everything, his new sermon notes included — everything except his Bible.
- He preached from the Bible alone with no notes, the people responded and a prophetic word was received, and he was pretty proud of himself.
- Brother Robinette — the man of God who had sent him 30-minute voicemails of intercession while their daughter was in the NICU and cried with him when she died — took him to Starbucks six months after the burial, buttered him up for 45 minutes, then delivered God's word: "You are not preaching in your gifting. You are preaching in fear, which comes from pride... I know you buried your daughter, but it's time to move on."
- He fell into the floorboard sobbing; Robinette reached over the console, lay over him weeping, and prophesied faith into him — only someone with that history could see he was a half-step off God's alignment and say it.
- He was not offended but grateful: why wait until someone is jumping off the cliff? Cancel culture calls it "just one little thing" — a little clipping, a little jewelry, a little social media, a little Netflix — but it is a seducing spirit, and it has to be cut off.
Australia: Dominion Begins at Home
- Until he got married and went to Australia, he had not seen anybody receive the Holy Ghost in almost three years of full-time evangelism, and he thought it was his preaching or his experience.
- In Melbourne his wife nearly died of a blood clot; doctors said she could not travel for three months, but they anointed a cloth with oil and prayed — and the next test found the clot gone; doctors back home tested her DNA and said a blood clot was impossible for her: "We anointed her with oil and God changed her DNA."
- Jeff Arnold confessed he had not seen anybody receive the Holy Ghost either at first, and others counseled Green to stop trying to pray people through to the Holy Ghost — "stop trying to be what you're not."
- In the Melbourne hotel the Lord spoke to him: "I will not use you in this ministry until you stop entertaining a homosexual spirit" — there was only one character in the entire BBC DVD set they carried all over Australia who was experiencing perversion and homosexuality.
- He argued with God — one person, no cursing, a show made in 1905 — but the Lord answered: you can be saved and entertain this, but you cannot have dominion and entertain this; how would he cast out devils without dominion over his own flesh and appetites?
- He reads Paul's fear in 2 Corinthians 11, verse 3, in the NLT: "I fear that somehow your pure and undivided devotion to Christ will be corrupted, just as Eve was deceived by the cunning ways of the seductive serpent" — Paul feared corrupted devotion, not lost salvation, because power comes from devotion.
- He grabbed the DVD set and threw it in the trash bin mid-cliffhanger; as it hit the bottom, a rushing mighty wind came into the hotel room for three hours of travail — and the next day, after a five-minute sermon, nine people received the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Scriptures: 2 Corinthians 11:3
Sanctification Is Ongoing: Malawi and Paris, Texas
- Holiness and sacrifice are not stagnant: justification can be pointed back to, but sanctification is every day of your life — and to suffocate the seducing spirit you have to submit to a shepherd, sanctify yourself, and sacrifice.
- God told him to sacrifice and go with Brother Robinette to Malawi; he spent every dime and then some on credit, expecting to be a hammer bearer, but Robinette put him in the pulpit to harvest — and over 3,000 people were filled with the Holy Ghost.
- Preaching for his associate pastor's church in Paris, Texas, in a dead service with no emotion, praise, or move of God, he saw 24 people filled with the Holy Ghost; returning in December — "Chris Green's back" — he was thankful but convicted.
- Before him, James Kilgore had pastored that church, and before Kilgore his own great-grandfather, J. D. Watson; those who laid the groundwork may never have seen 24 receive in a service or even a tenure, yet in heaven they are not resentful — there is a party as the great cloud of witnesses watches their children and grandchildren reap.
- His confession: "I didn't plant the seed, I didn't water the seed — it was God who gave the increase"; he was walking through their vineyard plucking fruit from predecessors who sacrificed, consecrated, submitted, and were sanctified.
- A pattern formed: the more he consecrates, the more he feels the breath of God — like a water hose with the faucet on full blast but only dripping because it is kinked and twisted; his friend Brother Mark Brown challenged him, "What if you just cut it off forever?"
- He deleted the entertainment, shook with withdrawals, and in Louisiana saw over 70 people filled with the Holy Ghost in one service — not more power, but position: "I'm in position," among people in the room with greater callings than he will ever taste.
Milk for Babies, Meat for the Mature
- Paul said in 1 Corinthians that he could not talk to them as he would to spiritual people — he had to talk as though they belonged to this world, as infants in Christ, fed with milk and not solid food because they were still controlled by the sinful nature, jealous of one another and quarreling.
- He reads Hebrews 5 as Paul gives it: there is much more to say, but it is difficult to explain to the spiritually dull who do not seem to listen — believers so long they ought to be teaching others, yet needing the basic things about God's word taught again, like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food.
- He reads Hebrews 6 the same way: stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again and become mature — no need to start again with repenting from evil deeds and placing faith in God, or further instruction about baptism, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment; God willing, we move forward.
- He takes up the criticism — why do holiness details matter while hell is rampant, like an HOA citing a trash can left on the curb while a hurricane destroys the neighborhood? — and answers from the first sin: the greatest sin ever committed was the first one, for by one man's disobedience sin entered the world, and there would have been no holocaust or crucifixion without it.
Scriptures: 1 Corinthians (book-only, as spoken); Hebrews 5; Hebrews 6
Why the Details Matter — and What Holiness Is
- God did not wave off the details of the biggest sin in history: He walked with them in the cool of the day after they rebelled, then covered them with coats of skin — setting the precedent that no matter how big or bad the sin, holiness still matters.
- Noah, one of only eight saved people in a global apocalypse, was told to take seven pairs of clean animals for eating and sacrifice — "what got you in the boat will get you back off the boat"; and Moses was forbidden the land, as he reads it in the NLT, not because he struck the rock but because he failed to sanctify God — to demonstrate His holiness — before the people.
- Holiness is not about the details themselves but the inward love of God, and it is not pastors only who may speak it — neither Paul nor Jesus was a pastor; the call is to be bold, submitted, and willing to speak the truth in love rather than climbing into another man's pulpit.
- While the church puts an age limit on holiness talk — "you're too young" — he warns that Satan has figured out a seven-year-old is the perfect age to give them pornography.
- His own path: he was not raised in this truth — his family left the message — but God brought him back at 16; at 22 he prayed, "God, what is holiness?" and God said, "Turn to Numbers 23."
- There, as he tells it, he found Caleb standing up against a nation saying, "I refuse to go back to Egypt — I'll die going to the promise before I live going backwards to bondage," and God said, "That's holiness": standing up for the will, the truth, and the direction of God.
- He turns it on the room: "Get back, Balak — you're not going to take my blessing, you're not going to take this next generation, you're not going to steal our worship, my praise, my prayer life, or corrupt my truth."
Scriptures: Numbers 23
Seducing Spirits in His Own House — and God's Provision
- He confesses he left this conference last year with seducing spirits: in Malaysia he lay in bed with the covers over his head all week except when it was time to preach, and in Norway Brother Bounds prophesied over the thoughts that were not of his own character.
- Since he was 12 years old a seducing spirit had told him, "You cannot be a man of God because you'll never be faithful to your wife" — he would come home from a trip having looked at nothing and thought nothing wrong, yet carrying guilt as if he had committed adultery, and his wife would lay her hands on his head and pray.
- Staying in someone's home after an Australia trip, he sat up at 1 a.m. flipping channels for entertainment and landed on pornography — and from the bedroom his wife screamed his name, twice, audibly, though she had been asleep for three hours; the Holy Ghost told him, "It wasn't your wife, it was me. I have better things for you."
- He woke Danielle, confessed that his eyes had seen perversion and that seducing spirits were coming against him; she did not just sit up, she stood up, laid her hand on his head, and prayed: "In the name of Jesus Christ, you're not gonna have my husband."
- Church-plant finances were desperate — six credit cards maxed out, unable to pay the interest, his wife working five jobs — until Brother Collins told him it is not God's will for the pastor's wife to work five jobs and that they had to take a step of faith; they went on a 21-day fast.
- On day 22 he woke to a text from Riley Martin: two ladies in Martin's church wanted to come pray for them — Sister Valerie and her friend Rachel, strangers who flew from Indiana to Texas on their own dime, prayed all over the city, home, and church, and, embarrassed, brought only $500: "This could be that cloud the size of a man's hand."
- Within the next seven days God used two strangers to send a $30,000 offering to the church — and Martin, who had preached the day before about saints praying a preacher out of jail without knowing the story, learned his own saints had prayed Green out of one.
Do Something You've Never Done: The Altar Appeal
- His unction for this movement: break the box and do something you've never done before — a friend from Michigan, Andrea, answered last year's call by taking off her right shoe to worship; we would have laughed at the lady crawling on her hands and knees to touch the hem of His garment, and at the blind man shouting for Jesus.
- He leads the room in the refrain — handkerchiefs, ties, and jackets waved: "I'm not going home seduced, I'm not going home cursed, I'm going home blessed by the breath of God — get back, Balak."
- Jogging through Founder's Memorial Park with a sermon in his earbuds, he put himself in the moment when God demanded something never done before in public: he let go of his Yorkie Rocky's leash, ran three connected football fields with his eyes closed, and lay on the field screaming and crying while a crowd watched.
- In the next three months the church went from about 20 people to 80, dozens were filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost — and tomorrow they go home to start a second church: "Because I got desperate."
- He calls all the ladies 30 and younger to the altar and the apostolic women over 30 to the platform, releasing the gift of faith, cursing the seductive spirit lying on them, and declaring, "You are a chosen vessel of God... There's power in your holiness, in the way you walk, in the way you think, in the way you live."
- He brings the men over 30 to the altar to have hands laid on them — "pure, holy, sanctified men of God" who will prophesy, see visions, dream dreams, cast out devils, and lay hands on the sick — and prophesies over the generation tens of thousands filled with the Holy Ghost, thousands baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and miracle signs and wonders; the capture ends inside this appeal, mid-flow, with his repeated "You've got it" and no benediction or dismissal.

I do feel the hand of the Lord in this conference as every year. I feel an extra burden. It isn't amazing that Jesus said, and it was referenced, Jesus said seven times, he that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the church. The Spirit is speaking a very clear sound this week and this year. It's not by happenstance, it's not just spontaneous, it's not a coincidence. There is a reason why the Lord is speaking what he is speaking.
In Numbers 21, verse 25, it says, So Israel took all these cities, and Israel took all these cities. And Israel dwelled in all the cities of the Amorites and Heshban, and in all of its villages. For Heshban was the city of Sihon, king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab and had taken all his land from his hand as far as the Arnon. So the Israelites had just defeated the king of Heshban. And then there was a song that was written about this, because they were about to be faced up against the Moabites. And King Sihon had already defeated the Moabites. And Israel had defeated the one that had defeated their next opponent. It's a dangerous place to be, if you're the opponent that's already lost, and now you're about to be faced with somebody that's defeated the one that's already defeated you. And in Numbers 22, verse 1, it says, that the children of Israel moved and camped in the plains of Moab on the side of the Jordan across from Jericho. Everybody say, across from Jericho. They were within an eyesight. They were in arms reach of their promise. And verse 2 says, Be'Lak, everybody say Be'Lak, the son of Zipporah, saw all that Israel had done to the Amorites, and Moab was exceedingly afraid of the people because they were many. And Moab was sick with dread because of the children of Israel. So Moab, this is referring to Be'Lak, the king of Moab. Be'Lak said to the elders of Mirion, now this company will lick up everything around us as an ox licks up the grass of the field. And Be'Lak, the son of Zipporah, was king of the Moabites. And next verse says that he sent messengers to Balaam the son of Beorah at Pethor. I want you to go down to verse 6. It says, therefore he said, please come at once and curse this people for me, for they are too mighty for me. Perhaps I shall be able to defeat them and drive them out of the land. For I know that he whom you bless is blessed and he whom you curse is cursed.
I want to do my best in the Holy Ghost to give some sort of send off word to you today. And I want to preach to you on this subject, get back Be'Lak. Somebody say get back Be'Lak. Would you pray with me, Lord, I love you and I'm thankful for all of the demonstration of your spirit, the word that's gone forth. And now we know that you've got one more word left for us yet. And God our hearts are ready, our hands are lifted. We are ready with expectation to receive the mighty word of God to give us direction, to give us dominion, and to give us power in the name of Jesus Christ. Would you clap your hands and shout, get back Be'Lak? Amen. You may be seated in Jesus' name.
I told my associate pastor brother Rhodes after yesterday, I said it takes some guts to get up in the pulpit and basically say that if you've got Netflix, you're not right with God. Because most of us either have had it or have it now. And for a man of God to get in the pulpit and say, if you have this and you're entertaining this, you've closed the door to Jesus because Jesus ain't watching Netflix with you. That takes some guts to say at a conference. And whether you agree or not, we need those voices in our movement today. We need not crucify and criticize the voice of an apostle that brings that enmity.
I had an apostle come to our church a couple of years ago and I thought, man, we're going to have a great revival. It was like our first real sort of revival after we planted our church. And I invited all the area churches. That was a mistake. Because they all came, we added a Sunday, we don't normally have Sunday night. And so we added a Sunday night service. And we had all these visiting pastors there to support me and my little first revival at our church plan. And this apostle gets up in the pulpit and says, let me tell you why. You pastors don't have Sunday night church anymore. It's because you want to go home and watch football. Oh, Jesus name. I don't even have Sunday night church. And I felt, you know, you feel that your blood pressure rise and I felt my face begin to fill with blood. And you know, I'm blushing and I'm anxious. And I wanted to holler out and say, okay, okay, that's enough.
And the Lord spoke to me and said, do you know what you feel right now? He said, that's enmity. He said, it's been a long time since you have felt enmity. He said, but your carnal mind is enmity against my will and my spirit. We need to embrace enmity a little bit more than we do.
I believe that today, and I passed this by my brother, brother Rashidi Collins, and he felt like this was the will of the Lord. So if you don't like it, you need to crucify both of us. All right? But I feel like in this hour, we are facing some things that are very destructive, but yet very subtle. I believe that we are fighting seducing spirits.
In the story of which I brought to you in this text of Numbers, Numbers chapter 21 and 22, it continues over the next couple of chapters. The Israelites had wandered now at this point, walking through the wilderness for 38 years. They didn't deal with wars and battles. They were learning how to walk. They were learning how to consecrate. They were learning how to separate. But after 30 years before they could get into the land of promise, God said, now I have to teach you how to fight. Because you can't just walk when you get to Canaan land. You've got to war.
And I believe that right now there is a shift happening in our world, but specifically in our movement in the apostolic Pentecostal realm, God is taking us from walking to warring. The final two years of the 40, they went from walking mode to warring mode, from consecrating to conquest, from survival to revival, from hiding to harvesting, from retreating to reaping. And this is where the church is at today. In the final two years of their wandering through the wilderness, they had to learn how to fight. And the 18 months leading up to their battle with the Moabites, they had to defeat the Amelokites, the Canaanites, the Amorites of Sihon and the Amorites of Og. All together they had defeated over 60 different cities and armies in 18 months. Nobody could defeat them. They were not warriors, they were slaves. But anybody in the will of God can declare, no weapon formed against me is able to prosper. You might feel like a slave in your spirit. You might feel weak in your body, but if you've got the Holy Ghost, you can yet declare greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world. Nobody could defeat them and nobody could curse them.
You find King Bailac so afraid and terrified as they've defeated every other nation, every other army, and now they were up next. He begins to attack them on three different fronts. He first tries a secular attack. He begins to offer money and prestige and prominence and popularity. He offers Bailam the soothsayer. He offers him money and he offers him position and power. When that didn't work, he grabs this soothsayer Bailam and he begins to ask him to curse the people of God. I might get back to this story in a little bit, but it's such an amazing image because here are the people of God just going about their normal everyday life. And up on this mountain, you've got a king named Bailac and a prophet or soothsayer named Bailam, and they're looking over the people of God and they have no knowledge of it whatsoever that while they're going about their daily routine, there is a witch, there is a soothsayer, and there is a king trying to curse them and disrupt them, destroy them, and deceive them.
You ever hear anybody say, man, you're just too spiritual? I've never met anybody too spiritual. You know people say, you're just trying to find a devil around every corner. I've never seen anybody that's gotten too spiritual for no earthly good. I've never been that way in my life. Do you realize that we are in a spiritual fight? You're going around your daily business and doing your daily routine. I'm telling you, there are spiritual kings, there are spiritual princes, there are spiritual soothsayers, and there are spiritual witch doctors and sorcerers in your land, in your home, in your family trying to curse your destiny, trying to curse your promise, but I come to declare, get back, be like.
Go to the end of this story and try to work back if I'm able to, but the Bible tells us that he tries a secular approach and when that doesn't work, he tries a spiritual approach and when that doesn't work, he tries seduction. After all of these attempts to curse the people of God, after all of these attempts to try to destroy the destiny of God's people, you see that they gave up with this process.
But Balaam told Balaak, because Balaam was full of greed. He called Jehovah his God, but he was not his God. He was his own God unto himself. He was, as Brother Robinette has always said, he was drunk on his own anointing. And Balaam says, well, we can't curse them, but I do know we can seduce them. The Bible says in Numbers 25 and verse 1 that while the Israelites were camped at Acacia Grove, some of the men defiled themselves by having sexual relations with local Moabite women. Watch this. How did that happen? How did they go from the people of God to having relations with the Moabite women? It tells us in verse 2, this is how it happened. These women invited them to attend. There's nothing wrong with just attending, is there? There's nothing wrong with just watching, is there? They said, hey, come and attend, you don't have to sacrifice, just come and attend our worship. And so they attended in the same sentence it says, then the Israelites feasted with them. And then they worshiped the gods of Moab and in this way Israel joined in their worship of Balapea causing the Lord's anger to blaze against his people. The Lord issued the following command to Moses, seize all the ring leaders and execute them before the Lord in broad daylight so his fierce anger will turn away from the people of Israel. And while there was no devil in hell that could curse them, there was a serpent that could seduce them. And 24,000 people died. These women said, let's just get them to attend. I feel so strong in my spirit to tell us that we need more than deliverance. We need dominion. Here's why I say that because I'm talking to some veterans here and I'm talking to young adults. I have such a burden for you and this message is affectionately dedicated and positioned for you young adults because you've learned how to get deliverance. You've learned how to pray and say, Jesus forgive me. You've learned how to come back the next Sunday and you've got this clock in your soul that says, well, okay, I've got six more days till church so it's okay but Friday comes around and you start thinking, all right, I need to be careful here. Sunday's coming and you've learned how to get a breakthrough and a deliverance but God is grieved. He's not angry. I believe he's grieved that his children are not walking in dominion but experiencing deliverance, experiencing mountaintops of breakthroughs but then finding themselves every Monday and Tuesday in the bottom of the valley of the shadow of death. And Brother Robinette said yesterday, he said, I come to preach to help you keep your victory and I feel that same spirit in me. This word that God has given me for you is not for you to have a WINS conference breakthrough, a WINS conference impartation alone but this is for you to go home. This is for you to go back to your city and walk in dominion.
It started when the people of God attended a place they never should have gone to begin with but it doesn't just stop with showing up. After they showed up they said it feels pretty good here. I feel something. Let me tell you, you can go to a lot of places and feel goosebumps but there's only one place you can go and feel the glory of God. Wait, wait, wait. This is, okay, you agreed with that one. I see if you agree with this. You can worship God in the spirit and feel goosebumps but it's when you worship him in the truth where you feel the glory. I've been to some churches that don't have the truth. I've surveyed my region and I've been to churches and I said, wow, I feel God here. In fact, just a few weeks ago I heard that old rendition of Whitney Houston singing the national anthem. I said, Branson for a wedding. And I didn't been to Branson so I didn't know what it was all about. Heard it was the Pentecostal Las Vegas or something and I'm standing there and after dinner it's 10 o'clock at night and there's nobody around and all of a sudden this recording, this voice comes over a PA system, there's nobody around. And he says, please rise and stand for the singing of the national anthem. And I'm like, who's saying that? And this water show begins to go off this light at 10 p.m. and then here comes that voice. And I said, oh, this is the Whitney Houston version. If you haven't heard that version, that's one of the best. And she's singing within a few seconds. I'm like, I could feel something while she was singing the national anthem. She was gifted like Balaam. Preachers who have churches of thousands who are gifted like Balaam. And you can feel something. A soothsayer will put a goosebump on your flash. You can worship God in the spirit, but Jesus said, the hour cometh and now is when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. You want the glory. You've got to worship Jesus and Jesus alone. You want the glory. You've got to have the truth. Lift your hands and worship Him in the truth. Let me tell you, you can be seated.
I feel so burdened because I really don't have a greater burden in this hour outside of my family than for young adults who they know that there's a call of God on their lives and they're trying to figure out how to get from here to there. Let me tell you something. There's seducing spirits that would allow you to become a minister and compromise the fulfillment of your call. There's a seducing spirit that will cause a young person. Brother Gatti is the one who opened this door of marriage. So I'll just walk through it.
There's a seducing spirit that will cause you to marry somebody that's a good spouse. But it's not the will of God's spouse. And you'll get to the end of your days and die of old age and you won 100 souls. And you and your spouse that you were infatuated with, you won 100 souls at the end of your life. And we have a funeral and a celebration of life for you. And the 100 souls you personally want are standing there saying, if it hadn't been for that man of God, if it hadn't been for that lady, that woman of God, I wouldn't have been saved. And the devil's over in the shadow of the corner laughing at the devil saying, see, I seduced them to marry the wrong person and they had a good life. They even had a blessed life. But they didn't ever know the perfect will of God. And while they won 100 people, it was the will of God for them to win 10,000 people. And while everybody's clapping their hands and see how quiet it is right now, everybody's patting them on the back and saying, wow, good job, good job, the Father's wanting to say, well done, well done, well done, well done. And I hit a brick wall right there. Y'all don't understand, when I see a wall, that's when the anointing hits me.
I had a man of God who was praying for me a few weeks ago. He said, man, I pray for you all the time. And I was praying, that's the prophet of God. He said, I was asking God, what is Chris Green? He's not an evangelist anymore. He doesn't seem to embody the stereotype of a pastor. And what is he in the 5-4 ministry? He said, I hope this doesn't hurt your feelings. He said, but God told me Chris Green is a wrecking ball. I'm not trying to tell you I'm big, tough, strong, and wrecking balls have feelings too. When the wrecking ball hits the building, it feels something. I feel something too. But when I see a wall that stands up, I say, all right, let's just go right through it. Listen, it was preached yesterday. There is no time. There's no time to beat around the bush. There's no time to play games. We got to figure this thing out and get in alignment with God. We got to stop playing patek cake.
The seductive spirit said, just show up. You don't have to worship. Just show up. You just attend. You ain't got to smoke where we smoke. You ain't got to drink where we drink. Just attend. That's a seductive spirit that knows. You have no dominion over devils you dance with. You have no dominion over devils you dine with. You got to stop dancing with them devils. You got to stop dining with them devils so God can give you dominion.
I feel the Holy Ghost spoke this to me this morning. He said, I want to suffocate. I want my spirit to suffocate. Every seductive spirit that's suffocating the will of God in these young men and women. It was talked to you about offense. You know why the rich young ruler was offended? The Bible says he walked away sorrowful for he had many possessions. That word sorrowful means offended. You see he had so much luxury that he was offended. It seems like the richer someone becomes, the more luxurious somebody becomes, the more easily offended they are. But let me tell you something apostolic Holy Ghost field warriors. We don't have the luxury of offense in this hour. We can't get so easily offended when a man of God gets up and says thus saith the Lord.
Listen Paul told, this is crazy to me. Paul told the young man Timothy. The young man, somebody say the young man. He said in 1 Timothy 4 he said now the spirit speaketh expressly. That means directly and clearly. He said the spirit don't play no games. The spirit don't beat around no bush. He said the spirit speaks directly, plainly and clearly. That man, them elders used to say come on now speak it plain. Now we say move off of it. Don't say that. That's TMI. That ain't politically correct. And Paul said the Holy Ghost speaks directly.
Watch what he's telling this young man. Watch this. This is a revelation from me. He says that in the latter time shall some depart from the faith giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. Let me tell you what this word seduce means in seducing spirits. It means to persuade someone and to take away someone's innocence. It means to lead them astray with corruption. Here's the synonyms of this Greek word to attract, to allure, to tempt, entice, trap, charm, captivate, enchant, hypnotize, mesmerize, tantalize, bewitch and deceive. It does not say blow up with an atom bomb. It says there are seducing spirits that people will fall away and they will follow these seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. In verse 2 he says there will be people who speak lies and hypocrisy having their conscience. He's talking about men of God here. He's talking about people in the church. He said there will be people in the church who speak lies and hypocrisy having their conscience seared with a hot iron. Now watch this. This is what Timothy's pastor told him to preach to Timothy's church. Paul wasn't the pastor of this church. Paul said, I'm going to tell you what to preach to your church. He said if thou put the brother in remembrance of these things, these things I just told you, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of a good doctrine, wherein to thou hast attained. The NLT says it like this. Well, I ain't got it in the NLT. I got the next verse in the NLT. Look at verse 7. He says do not waste time arguing over godless ideas and old wives' tales. Instead train yourself, Timothy, to be godly. Verse 11, these things I'm telling you to command and teach. Let no man, verse 12, let no man despise. That means to look down on brother Morgan. He said let no man look down upon your youth. He said, but be thou an example of the believers in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. I'm reading it fast because the timer is yelling at me right now. I'm going to read that again. This is the apostle Paul telling the young pastor. He said, I'm going to tell you what to preach. You get in that pulpit and you tell them they're seducing spirits in our church. And some of you are falling away and you're trying to preach lies and heresy and you're a hypocrite. He told the young man to get up and say that. He said, if you say that, then you will be qualified as a good minister of Jesus Christ. But then he tells them, he says listen, Timothy, I know you're young, but don't let anybody look down on your age. He said, but you be an example of the believers. How in your words, in your behavior, in your love, in your spirit, in your faith, and in your purity.
I can feel a resistance, which is just lift your hands and intercede for 30 seconds. Shereba tayarabah tarabah, yadabah satarabah. Come on, pray in the holy ghost for me. Shadna bahasatarabah yadabah. You may be seated.
He's telling the young man, you better preach this boy. I want to preach that. I'm terrified to preach that. Watch what Timothy said, but I'm terrified to preach that. I'm going to lose people. They're going to tell me I'm too young. Paul, I'm afraid to preach that. And then Paul says, God didn't give you the spirit of fear. That fear is coming from your own lattice. That fear is coming from your own pride. That fear is coming from, ah, I'm preaching to you right now. That fear is coming from your own desire to be exalted by men. That fear is coming from a desire to grow a crowd instead of build a church. That's why in the next, look at this, verse 14, he said, listen to me, Timothy. He said, don't neglect the spiritual gift. He wouldn't say that if he wasn't neglecting it. He was walking away from a spiritual gift because of fear. He said, don't walk away. Okay, I'm getting off my notes. I can't. I can't do this. I feel the Holy Ghost in this place. We've got to have a shepherd in our lives that can talk to us like Paul talked to Timothy. Now, Timothy's only the pastor of one of the fastest growing churches in the known world. Yeah, an emphasis. And he's doing the best he can. And he's got some guy a thousand miles away, writing a letter and say, you're full of fear. You're not in your gift. You're walking away from the truth, Timothy.
I'm not a virgin voice up here. I remember getting invited to preach the Louisiana camp meeting. And I thought, I've done arrived. All my heroes have preached this camp meeting. Stonking and Jeff Arnold and T.W. Barnes and all these great men of God. And now they want me to preach this camp meeting. And so I stayed up, man. We were preaching out in California some revivals. And I studied and fasted. And I got some new fresh sermons with that new car smell. I'm going to impress everybody at that Louisiana camp meeting. They're going to put my picture up next to T.F.Tinney's picture. And on our way to the camp meeting, we got robbed. Someone broke into our rental car and stole everything. Stole everything, including my new sermon notes. And by the way, in that bag happened to be a book by T.W. Barnes. Which by now they're either saved or severed. And I said, all I have is my Bible. They didn't steal my Bible. The one thing that didn't steal in the whole car was my Bible. Why do I preach with this? I was so nervous, didn't have any notes fumbling through this Bible right here. Trying to use all these ribbons and stuff. I never knew what a ribbon was for. Had to peel the pages apart.
Hold on, y'all. Robinette's sitting on the platform. He's one of my men of God in my life. I've traveled the world with him and most of you traveled the world with him. I've lived in his home in countless hours with that man of God. And I'm preaching my guts out. It's six months after we've buried our child. And I'm preaching my guts out. And I was able to get the saved Pentecostals spinning on their heads, you know. Because a preacher that's done it long enough, you know how to get the Pentecostals shouting. And I made one little statement because a prophetic spirit came upon me to prophesy in that place. I said these words. I said, now I know this is my first time here. And I know you don't know who I am. But I've got a prophetic word from God. And I prophesied and they received it. And I was pretty proud of myself. No notes. Just a Bible. People at the altar. Wow. I get back to my room and I got the text. We need to talk. He said, Daniel, I'll be back. She said, where are you going? I said to get rebuked. So he took me to Starbucks and buttered me up for about 45 minutes. And I'm not even listening. Because he just buttered me up. I know what's coming. He said, Chris, you're so awesome. Okay, come on. Chris, I'm so proud of you. I love you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Uh-huh. Now let me tell you what God told me to tell you. You are not preaching and you're gifting. He said, you are preaching in fear. Which comes from pride. You are full of pride. He said, I know you buried your daughter, but it's time to move on. See, not anybody could just say that. But he's the one who was there. He's the one who called me. And he's the one who literally sent me 30-minute voicemails of him interceding. 30-minute messages of him just recording himself speaking in tongues for me while our daughter was in the NICU. And when she died, he was the one there calling me and crying with me over the phone. So six months later, I wasn't that far. I wasn't backslid, Brother Elms. I wasn't smoking dope. My God, I was still preaching the truth. But let me show you how off I was. Ready? Did you see it? You didn't see it, but he would. I was this far off right here. And he saw one little half step off the alignment of God. Because he knows me. And he has the credibility and the corn and the crib to say, hey, son, I know you buried your baby, but it's time to get up from the ashes. And it's time to go forward.
And I literally, I fell into the floorboard of the passenger seat. I'm in the floorboard sobbing. And he reaches over the center console and lays over me and weeps with me. And he begins to prophesy over me. He begins to speak faith in me. He says, son, he says you're not preaching in the gifting that God has given you. He said, you got to get back in the gift that God has given to you. If I brag, this is all I can brag about is I was not offended. I was so grateful. I was so thankful because who knows where that one little step would have taken me.
You see, why do we wait until they're way over here? Why do we wait until they're jumping off the cliff? You know why? Because of cancel culture that says, well, it's just one step. It's just one little thing. It's not a big deal. It's just a little clipping. It's just a little jewelry. It's just, nah, it's a seduction spirit. It's a seducing spirit. You got to cut it off. It's just a little social media. It's just a little Netflix. It's just, no, it's a seductive spirit. You may be seated.
I didn't see nobody get the Holy Ghost in my ministry until I got married and went to Australia. Australia, well, the Harvey, didn't see anybody get the Holy Ghost for almost three years. I thought it was my preaching. I thought it was my experience. We get married. We go to Australia. My wife almost dies of a blood clot. We're preaching in Melbourne and we rush her to the ER. She's there for two days. They said, you will not travel for the next three months. We were scheduled on a new, a flight every week to go all over the nation of Australia. I said, no, we're called a God. We're on a flight every week. My wife can't be staying here for three months. We prayed for her. I went to church one of the pastors when I stayed in the hospital with her that night. Well, I went and preached. We prayed and we anointed a cloth with oil and brought it back to the hospital. The doctors at about 1130, they were doing tests every three hours. And about 1130 after doing a test, they came back and they said, we don't know what's happened to the blood clot, but it's not here anymore. We came back home from Australia, Brother Harvey. And the doctors found where the blood clot was, but they tested her DNA and they said, it's impossible for you to have a blood clot. You don't have the marker in your DNA to have a blood clot. They said, what really happened? I said, I'll tell you what happened. We anointed her with oil and God changed her DNA. You don't believe that, but if you were there, you wouldn't have a choice but to believe it. I hadn't seen anybody get the Holy Ghost in three years of full time evangelism.
I go and preach for Brother Hogben and Brother Gabriel. And I'm praying and I'm fasting. And I said, God, why can't I see anybody get the Holy Ghost? And we had been watching. My wife didn't watch nothing. I don't even know if she watched Vegetails growing up. She's like, what is this rated R stuff? Vegetails. No. But I was raised around entertainment. I wasn't raised in Pentecostan. I was raised, I am addicted to entertainment. And so I had purchased this DVD set. Y'all don't know what that is, but it was before the streaming days. And this is how we streamed like this, carrying a box of DVDs like this, carried all over Australia. And it was a old show, the BBC, British show from the early 1900s. I won't say the name because you'll shut me off. So we're in the middle of this show. And I said, hey, before we watch the next episode, let's pray, I want God to use us to see people feel. I had been crying for years. I met with some of you about it. I remember begging Jeff Arnold. He didn't know me. I got his number from Brother Myers. I said, I want to meet this guy. And I begged him to meet with me. And finally he did. I said, I don't see anybody get the Holy Ghost. And he said, I didn't see anybody get the Holy Ghost either. Yeah, but I'm not Jeff Arnold. You know, I'll preach like you. So I was almost succumbing to the seducing spirit. Someone told me, stop trying to be what you're not. But isn't that what being born again is? Stop trying to be what you're not. And they were telling me, stop trying to pray people through to the Holy Ghost. It's not going to happen. I'm begging God, fasting and praying.
The Lord speaks to me in the hotel. And Melbourne, Australia, says, I will not use you in this ministry until you stop entertaining a homosexual spirit. There's only one character in this entire show that was experiencing perversion and homosexuality. And I'm like, really? God, is that, that's the big deal? I was angry with God. That? It's one person on a show. It's no big deal. There's no cursing. This show was made before there was cursing. 1905, you know. What are you talking about God? The Lord said to me, he said, you can be saved and entertain this, but you can't have dominion and entertain this. You know what the dominion was over? Me. He said, how are you going to cast out devils if you don't even have dominion over your own flesh? How are you going to pray for my Holy Spirit to fill people up if you can't even control your own appetites? No, I'm not talking to you. I'm talking, I'm talking about me. Don't get offended. It's me. You're holy enough. You're strong enough to entertain those things and see tens of thousands of people fill with the Holy Ghost. But for me, I saw zero fill with the Holy Ghost until God pointed it out. See, even at Youth Congress, I told an element of this story, but I left out what I just told y'all. You pay me more than Youth Congress. You put it all together? Unless I got to pay you for another... I left that out two years ago at Youth Congress because I was afraid of what the movement might do to me if I talked about media for a second. Because it's what we're addicted to right now. I'm not addicted to heroin. I'm not addicted to this, and I'm not addicted to this, but I am addicted to a dopamine release. Every five minutes, I got to see another reel. That's why... Listen to me. That's why I didn't give them this verse. That's why Paul said, in 2 Corinthians 11 in verse 3 in the NLT, Paul said, remember the Paul that said, don't be afraid of anything? Paul said, I'm afraid of something. He said, I fear that somehow you're pure and undivided devotion to Christ will be corrupted just as Eve was deceived by the cunning ways of the seductive serpent. Paul didn't say, I'm afraid you're going to mishaven and go to hell. He said, I'm afraid your devotion will be corrupted. Where do you get power? From dancing? No, from devotion.
So, you know, I didn't ask my wife not because of a headship thing, but because I knew where her heart was already. I went and grabbed that DVD set. I went over to the trash bin. I threw it away. Man, we were on a cliffhanger too. I still don't know what happened to that dude. We threw the thing in the trash bin. I...as God is my witness, has that DVD set hit the bottom of that barrel? I mean, a rushing mighty wind came into the hotel room for three hours. We travailed, drunk in the Holy Ghost. Listen to me, young people. The next day, I preached a five-minute sermon, and nine, nine people received the gift of the Holy Ghost. Listen to me.
That was just the beginning of the journey, because you see, listen to me. Holiness is not stagnant. Sacrifice is not stagnant. You don't reach a place and say, okay, I got it all figured out now. No, no, no, no, no. You see, sanctification is ongoing. Justification, you can point back to where you were justified. You were justified in the Spirit. But now in our sanctification, it's every day of my life. Dr. Myers over here is still being sanctified by the Holy Ghost. I had never seen more than five people in America get the Holy Ghost in one service. And so the Lord says, I want you to sacrifice. Everybody say sacrifice. You see, in order to suffocate the seducing Spirit, you got to submit to a shepherd. You've got to sanctify yourself, and you've got to sacrifice.
And God said, I want you to sacrifice and go with Brother Robinette to Malawi. And I spent literally every dime and then some, put it on credit, and I went to Malawi. And I thought I was going to be his little hammer bearer, but he put me up in the pulpit, and he said, you're going to harvest. I didn't know what harvesting was. He said, you're going to harvest. And we saw over 3,000 people fill with the Holy Ghost. But listen, I come back from that, and I just so happened to be preaching at my associate pastor's church in Paris, Texas. And he says, this was nine years ago, and I get to that church, and it wasn't the church, it was the service. This is one of them dead services. Y'all don't know what I'm talking about, but just try to understand. I mean, there was no emotions. There was no praise. There was no worship. There was no move of God. And I'm sitting there thinking, everybody's getting the Holy Ghost today. Everybody's getting the Holy Ghost today. Everybody's getting the Holy Ghost today. I woke up into that pulpit, and in that service, 24 people were filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost. Wait, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen. I was still just a young pup, and I saw 24 people fill the Holy Ghost. I just went back in December. That's where I met my associate pastor. I had never met him. Well, technically I did, because when I broke the pulpit a few years ago, he was here, and he comes up to me and said, here's $100 for a new pulpit. That's that guy right there. But I didn't remember that. And so I go to that church in December, and I meet him, and the Holy Ghost speaks to me and says, that's the shepherd of Austin right there. He said, he's called to Austin. I didn't even know him, and I just said, are you called to Austin? He dropped his fork on the table. He said, yes, I am. I said, what do we got to do to get you to Austin? Now, I was ethical. His grandfather in law was the pastor. He was retiring. Everything was ethical. I ain't got time to go through all the red tape with you right here. But he's now our associate pastor.
But I was preaching there. I was preaching at the church, and everybody was coming up to me. Now, this was nine years ago where we saw 24 people fill with the Holy Ghost. And everybody's coming up to me saying, we were there when 24 got the Holy Ghost. Woo, Chris Green's back. 24 got the Holy Ghost. Yeah, yeah. The pastor gets up and introduces me. He said, remember this was the one who was here nine years ago, 24 people got the Holy Ghost. I was convicted, and I was also thankful, but I was convicted. I walked up into the pulpit. I said, I'm so thankful that we remember this. I said, but before I was ever here, James Kilgore pastor this church. And when he finished, my great grandfather pastored this church. And I guarantee you that they who laid the groundwork never saw 24 people get the Holy Ghost in one service. They might not have seen it in their entire tenure of that church. And I said, and now those men, and I said, some of your grandparents or parents are up in the balcony of paradise. And they're the great cloud of witness that surrounds us right now. And we want to take the credit for seeing 24 people get the Holy Ghost. I said, that, that, that convinced me because I was walking through their vineyard and plucking their fruit. They're the ones that sacrificed, consecrated, submitted. They're the ones who were sanctified and set apart. All I did was show up and say, Jesus is here. And I'm plucking everybody else's fruit. I said, it wasn't me. I didn't plant the seed. I didn't water the seed. It was God who gave the increase. And I said, but let me ask you a question. I said, do you think my great grandfather, JD Watson, and then, and then the previous pastor, James Kilgore, I said, do you think they're up in heaven with all the others who have died from this church? And they're saying, well, hold on a second, God. We did all the work. Why didn't we get to see the people get the Holy Ghost? Why did this young jerk get to see it? He's been watching these BBC movies. Why did he get to see it? What's all that about? I said, they're not worried about all that. I said, let me tell you, there's a party in heaven going on because they're looking at their children, their grandchildren, their great-grandchildren saying, look, look, look what's happening. Look what's happening. We laid the groundwork. We sacrificed. We were sanctified. We were submitted. And now they're reaping the benefits.
And then it was just a few weeks after that, I started seeing a pattern. The more I consecrate, not holier than thou, I can't get holier than thou. The more I consecrate, the more I feel the breath of God. Have you ever tried to turn on a water hose and you go to use the water hose and it's just dripping out? The faucet's on full blast. It's just dripping. What's the problem? You know what the problem is. It's kinked up. It's twisted up. The flow, the faucet is flowing, but it can't get through the conduit, the vessel. That's what you are. You're the, ah, you're the vessel. And where's the breath? Where's the breath? Where's the flow? Where's the wind? The faucet is flowing, but there's been some twists. There's been some discouragement. There's been some seductive spirits. I'm starting to put these things together. And one of my friends, I got a friend who challenges me. Brother Mark Brown, he convicts me. He challenges me. He said, Chris, every time you take another step of consecration, he said, it seems like you see more results and you see more demonstration of God. He goes, what if you just cut it off forever? Oh yeah, it is. Cut your hand off. Cut your foot off. Pluck your eye out. I was preaching to our church just the other day. I said, why do we battle with obstacles that Jesus said you can just completely get rid of? Am I messing up this conference? We say, because I can overcome this one and I can speak to the mountain. But he said, why speak to the mountain and why climb the mountain when you can literally just get rid of it? You don't have to climb nothing that doesn't exist.
My friend said, why don't you just cut it off? Why don't you just get rid of it? I said, okay, delete. Started shaking and having withdrawals. And I went to Louisiana. I don't know who I'm pointing at. There's somebody here from Louisiana. Went to Louisiana. In one service, over 70 people filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost. What's that all about? And I have more power all of a sudden? No, I'm in position.
Pull in this room that have greater callings than I'll ever even smell. You have greater callings than I'll ever taste. You have callings that I only envision. And Satan said, okay, some of them I couldn't get secularly. I couldn't get with the soothsayer, but I'm gonna get them with seductive spirits. And Paul spoke so directly. Paul said in 1 Corinthians, he said, dear brothers and sisters, when I was with you, I couldn't talk to you as I would to spiritual people. He said, this is Paul. Don't get offended at me. He said, I had to talk as though you belong to this world or as though you were infants in Christ. I had to feed you with milk and not solid food because you weren't ready for anything stronger. He said, are you, and you still aren't ready for you are still controlled by your sinful nature. You are jealous of one another and quarrel with each other. Doesn't that prove that you are controlled by your sinful nature and you are not living like people of the world and you are living like people of the world?
He said in Hebrews 5, he said there's much more we would like to say about this, but it's difficult to explain, especially since you are spiritually dull and don't seem to listen. You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need somebody else to teach you again the basic things about God's word. Paul said, you're like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food. He said in Hebrews 6, let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don't need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God. I'm reading the Bible. Tell your neighbor he's reading the Bible. He said you don't need further instruction about baptism, the laying on of hands, the resurrection. I've lost somebody. Paul said you don't need more instruction about baptism, laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. And so, God willing, we will move forward to further understanding. Pray in the Holy Ghost for a moment. Care about that, you're a little bit short. I got five minutes, maybe less.
Let me tell you something. The world, I've heard this criticism since past. They say why does all these details matter? Why do the details of holiness matter? I mean, there's hell is rampant, and sin is everywhere. Wickedness is rampant. I've heard somebody say, I mean, when you tell us about holiness, that's like a hurricane blowing through the neighborhood, destroying all the houses, and you're like the HOA that says, but your trash can's been on the curb too many days. And I get what they're saying. Trivia, what's the greatest sin ever committed? In the Bible, the word first and greatest are synonyms. One man asked Jesus, what's the first commandment? He was saying like in order chronologically, he was saying what's the greatest commandment? What's the greatest sin ever committed? Holocaust, millions dead? Crucifixion of Jesus? Betrayal of Jesus? No, the first sin. Because by one man's disobedience sinning into all the world, there would have been no holocaust or crucifixion without the first one.
Let me ask you, how did Jesus, how did God handle it? He said, well, this is the biggest sin that will ever happen in humanity. I'm not going to worry about the details. You know what he did? It says, and God walked with him in the cool of the day. That's the only reference in the Bible you have with God walking with him in the cool of the day is after they rebelled and disobeyed. You still have hope. They fell in sin. God said, time to walk with them. And then you know what the next thing he did? He covered them with coats of skin. He said, this is the greatest sin that will ever be committed. Let me set a precedent that no matter how big or bad the sin is, holiness still matters. Did you read about Noah? When God tells him, we all look at the charts, you know, in the pictures, but you read the Bible. And he says, I want you to take seven pairs of clean animals and one pair of unclean animals. He said, the seven pairs of the clean animals is for eating and sacrifice. We're the only eight people in the world that's saved. And there's a world destruction. There's a global apocalypse. And you want us to keep sacrificing? Yeah, because what got you in the boat will get you back off the boat. What about Noah? What about Moses? We say, well, Moses wasn't allowed into the Promised Land because he struck the rock. It's not what the Bible says. The Bible says that God spoke to Moses and Aaron and he said, I forbid you of going into the land because you failed to sanctify me. Read it in the NLT. He says, you're not going into the land because you failed to demonstrate my holiness. God wasn't afraid about them striking the rock. He wasn't intimidated. Oh God, they struck the rock. He said, you failed to demonstrate my holiness.
People are too young. While we put an age limit on it and say, you're too young to talk about holiness, Satan has figured out a seven-year-old is the perfect age to give them pornography. Please don't get offended. But we say only pastors can talk about holiness. Paul wasn't a pastor and he's the one who talked about women's uncut hair. Jesus wasn't a pastor. I don't have time to go through everything. I'm not talking we should be rude and get into other people's pool pits. That's not what I'm saying. I'm not saying that. That we should be angry. I am saying that we should be bold and submitted to God. And we should be willing to speak the truth in love. I'm not saying that we should get into another man's pool pit and we don't have a clue what's going on in the flock and get up there and talk about a bunch of stuff. That's not what I'm saying. Holiness is not about all the details. It's about the inward love of God. Why does it say God?
Y'all know I wasn't raised in this. I was not raised in this. You know I wasn't. I was a part of family that left this message and this truth. And at 16 God brought me back to this. And at 22 I prayed and said, God what is holiness? He said turn to Numbers 23. I said okay Numbers 23. And there it was. You see Caleb standing up against a nation saying, I refuse to go back to Egypt. I will not go to Egypt. I'll die going to the promise before I live going backwards to bondage. God said that's holiness. When a man will stand up for the will of God and the truth of God and the direction of God.
I come against the spirit of Baelac. That's trying to bring seducing spirits against our young adults. I come against the word of Baelac. I come against, ah, get back Baelac. You're not going to take my blessing. Get back Baelac. You're not going to take this next generation. I said get back Baelac. Get back Baelac. You're not going to steal our worship, Brother Morgan. That's what Baelac wants to do. Baelac wants to steal the way we worship. But I'm still going to dance. I'm still going to shout. I'm still going to, ah, you're not going to steal my praise, Baelac. You're not going to steal my prayer life, Baelac. You're not going to corrupt my truth, Baelac.
I'm not preaching to you from some sort of pedestal or prominence of purity that I know. I left this conference last year with seducing spirits. I went to Malaysia. I went to Malaysia. There were so many seductive spirits attacking me. I literally laid in the bed with the covers over my head all week long until it was time to go preach. I didn't understand what it was. I go to Norway with Brother Bounds, and he comes up to me and he prophesies. I was thinking about talking to him because I was having thoughts that were not of my own character. Alright. I'm sorry, Pastor Myers. I've gone over my time. That's just what I do, I guess. I don't make advantage of anything. But I'm going to just be honest with you. I have had a spirit tell me for years before I even met my wife. I can trace it all the way back to 12 years old that a spirit, a seducing spirit, say, you cannot be a man of God because you'll never be faithful to your wife. You will never be faithful to your wife. You will never be faithful to one woman. I've had seductive spirits speak to me. I'd come home from a trip, hadn't looked at anything, hadn't thought anything wrong. I'd come home with the guilt as if I had committed adultery against my wife. And I would tell my wife, lay your hands over my head. I remember, I'm going to say something I don't say in public and if it messes me up, I want to get messed up to help somebody else be alright.
I remember coming home, Brother Harvey, from Australia. We had just been in Australia and I come home and we're in someone's home that had... Don't get offended. I'm just telling you my story. They had cable television and I was addicted to TV. That's how I grew up. And I'm sitting there late at night, flipping through channels and with no ulterior motive, but just flipping through channels and getting some entertainment and feeding my flesh. My wife is upstairs asleep next to the owner of the house. Their room is there and it's one in the morning and I'm flipping through channels and as soon as I took one more channel, flipped one more channel, there was pornography. And when I hesitated even for one moment, some of you won't believe what I'm about to tell you. But as soon as my eyes saw pornography, my wife from the bedroom screamed, CRASS! Went back, I sat down, I'm flipping through more channels. There's another pornographic channel. Instantaneously, audibly, not spiritually, audibly. CRASS! I was mad. I run up the steps, I open the door, it's pitch dark, she's curled up in a ball under the covers there. I said, Danielle, what are you doing? I'm up everybody in this house. She rolls over, she says, what are you talking about? I've been asleep for three hours. When she said that the Holy Ghost come over me and said, it wasn't your wife, it was me. God said, I have better things for you. I told my wife, I said, sit up baby. I said, my eyes have just seen perversion. I said, there's seducing spirits coming against me. Will you pray for me? She didn't just sit up, she stood up. She laid her hand on my head and said in the name of Jesus Christ, you're not gonna have my husband. You're not. You can hurt me. I'm trying to help one young person.
We left this conference with seducing spirits. I told Brother Rasidi, I said, we're in so much debt starting this church. We've maxed out six different credit cards. We owe so much, we can't even pay the interest. We're still trying to get there. I was convicted as Brother Gatti's preaching about debt. And I said, I don't know what we're gonna do. I said, my wife is working five jobs. We're getting the parking lot. And I had to leave early this conference last year because I had to go take care of the babies while my wife goes to one of her five jobs. And I get in the parking lot. Brother Collins says, man of God, he said, it is not God's will that the pastor's wife is working five jobs. I said, well, what do we do? He said, you got to take a step of faith and trust God. God will provide. We get back home and we go on a 21-day fast.
On day 22, God is my witness. I wake up on day 22 with a text message from Riley Martin. We don't talk very often. Not since we almost died in Madagascar. We had polio, the black lung, chicken pox and COVID at the same time. He texted me on date the morning after we finished a 21-day fast for direction. Riley Martin said, there's two ladies in our church, one of them sitting right there. There's two ladies in our church that have a burden for you. They want to come to your church and pray for you. And I guess he said this by faith because he hadn't passed this by them. He said, they're going to come and pray for you and bring you a love offering. I said, love offering would be great. You really need some love offering. I got a hold of these two ladies. I'm thinking, who are these two ladies that want to fly from Indiana to Texas? We don't know them. Never met them. They want to come and pray for us on their own dime. They showed up. We took them to eat and they said, well, we do have a confession week. We didn't really intend to bring an offering. And when you mentioned that y'all were in financial need, we thought, what do we do? And they literally told me, they said, well, we know we're going to start raising money. We're going to get a go fund me. And we're going to raise lots of money. And God said, stop trying to control what I'm trying to do. He said, so we're very embarrassed. We only brought you $500. Three and a half year drought was ended with the cloud the size of a man's hand. He said, so this could be that cloud. They prayed all over our city. They prayed in our home. They prayed in our church. They went around laying hands and prophesying over everybody. Sister Valerie right here and her friend Rachel, I never met them in my life. And in the next week, the next seven days, God used two strangers to send us a $30,000 offering to our church. Brother Martin was just preaching yesterday about saints, praying the preacher at a jail. He didn't even know that story. I told him after he preached, I said, did you know your saints prayed me out of jail? He said, why didn't you tell me that I could have shared that in the sermon? I said, I'm about to share it in the sermon. It's going to bless somebody in this house.
There is power in your prayers. The Lord has given me an unction in the Holy Ghost. This is the last thing I'm going to share. I promise you, the Lord has given me an unction in the Holy Ghost. You see, these seductive spirits are trapping us like chains and shackles. And we can do just enough just to raise a hand and say praise the Lord and go through our little routine and tradition. And the Lord has given me an unction in our movement to tell the people of God, it's time to break the box and do something you've never done before.
Listen, I was out here. I was over here just yesterday and your friend from Michigan. I don't remember her name. Andrea Andrea. There we go. She comes up to me and she says, remember last year you said, okay, we're going to pray the prayer of faith and you're going to worship like you never worship before. She's like, but I've done it all. She said, so when you said Jesus name, I took off my right shoe and she stopped. I said, I took off my right shoe. What'd you do with it? He said, nothing. You said, do something I've never done before and worship. We think this is like the three stooches or something. We would have laughed really hard at a lady crawling on her hands and knees saying, if I can just touch the hem of his garment, I know it's never been done before. We would have really been laughing, been laughing when a blind man started shouting, Jesus. Lift your voice for a moment. Lift your hands in this place. Now listen to me. Listen to me. God didn't bring me to this pulpit to try to convince you you're being seduced. No, no, no, no, no. God brought me to this pulpit to say you're about to be blessed. You're about to be blessed. You're about... I'm not going home seduced. I'm not going home cursed. I'm going home blessed by the breath of God. Somebody that's got a handkerchief, well get your handkerchief out. If you ain't got a handkerchief, you take your tie off. If you don't have a tie, you get your jacket out. And I say, get back, be like, get back, be like, get back, be like. I said, get back, be like, I said, get back, be like, get back, be like. I'm a blessed child of God. I'm a blessed man of God. I'm going home blessed. I'm going home blessed. Get back, be like. Let me tell you, if you think I only do this when people are watching in church, that makes me sick. People only dance in the Holy Ghost at church. You ought to get to your house tomorrow. You ought to go home maybe Monday. And when you're praying in your living room, just make a move for Jesus.
The Rhodes knows about this. We weren't seeing him in many signs of life. And our church, till those two ladies came and prayed. And I'm running. I'm jogging through the park. I got my headphones on. I'm listening to a sermon. And man, I'm feeling the Holy Ghost move while I'm jogging. And I'm starting to tear up in my eyes. And the man of God says, we're about to break a spiritual stronghold. If you'll do something you've never done before, when I say in Jesus' name, he said, you're going to see a breakthrough right now. And you know how you do when you listen to a sermon. You think, man, that is a good sermon. That must have been really cool being there. And you don't really like put yourself there. And you don't when they say, come on, lift your hands. Are you driving? Everybody clap your hands and you're listening in your car. And you say, we don't really do that. I mean, maybe you do. I wish. And I'm jogging through the park. Founder's Memorial Park. It's a massive park. Hundreds of people there. And on a Saturday, God says, if you really want to break through in this city, if you really want to see revival in this city, if you really want to see the harvest, he said, you're going to do something you've never done before right here in the park. I mean, there's people all around me on the football field, the skate park, the playground. And I'm running with my little Yorkie, Rocky. And God's saying, do something you've never done before. Okay. And when that man of God prayed the prayer of faith, I let go of that leash by Rocky. I took off. I know it's funny. I took off down the foot three connected football fields, three connected football fields with my eyes closed, earbuds in noise canceling on high. I didn't want to hear anybody hollering at me. I literally laid on the football field and started screaming. I want to. In the back of my mind, I'm hearing that voice that seductive spirit saying, people are going to criticize you. You're about to get arrested. That's probably half true. You're about to get arrested. I'm literally rolling down the football field of our park screaming and crying. I stood up. I didn't open my eyes for a while because I knew there was a crowd looking at me. I went and found Rocky. I got Rocky and I ran out of there. In the next three months, we went from about 20 people to 80 people at our church. We've seen dozens of people fill with the gift of the Holy Ghost. I know that's not a big harvest for you, but that's seismic for us. And tomorrow, brother Myers, we're going home to start a new church. We're starting our second church. You know why? Because I got desperate.
Somebody shout this with me. I want it. I shout it. I want it. I want it. I want it. I want it. I want it. I want it. I want it. Now I got you. I want it. Now I got you. I want it. Now that's what you always do. That's what you always do. Do something different in the Holy Ghost. Show God I want it more than anything. Get back, Baylack. Somebody push Baylack back to his place. Get out of here, Baylack. We're going forward. We're going, I feel the Holy Ghost. We're going further right now. We're going up the mountain. We're going to see the fire fall. I feel something in the Holy Ghost.
I want all of our ladies that are 30 and younger, all of our ladies 30 and younger to get up at this altar as quickly as you can. All of our ladies that are 30 and younger. I need some, I need some apostolic women. Whether you're licensed or not, you're licensed right now if you're an apostolic lady over the age of 30 to get up on this platform really quick. I need all the apostolic Holy Ghosts filled, anointed women at God on this platform in the Holy Ghost. Shalabah, satarabah, hilebukotorabah. Hey, hilebukotorabah. Lift up your hands right now in the name of Jesus Christ. I release the gift of faith over your mind, over your spirit, over your soul. Receive the blessing of a breakthrough and victory and dominion. Now. Come on, men. Come on, women of God. Come on, women of God. Oh, ladies, come on, you got the Holy Ghost. You got the Holy Ghost. I curse that seductive spirit that's lying on you. I curse that seductive spirit that's lying on you. Shake off that fear. Shake off that depression. You are a chosen vessel of God. We're in your separation. I'm not afraid to tell you, you are a powerful woman of God. There's power in your holiness. There's power in the way you walk, in the way you think, in the way you live. You got the Holy Ghost power. Shandorabah sotorabah. These ladies are going back with clarity. These ladies are going back with prophetic anointing. These ladies are going back with the blessing of God. And I want you to lift up your hands.
All of our men of God who are over the age of 30, I want you to try to get to these altars, through these altars. And I want you to lay your hands on these men right now. God in the name of Jesus. I curse every seductive spirit. I curse every lying spirit. I curse every subtle serpent. You will not lie on these men. You will not curse these men. You will not seduce these men. These are pure, holy, sanctified men of God. These men are going to prophesy. These men are going to see visions. These men are going to dream dreams. These men will cast out devils. These men will lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. Go, men of God. Go, men of God. Break through. Get that victory. Get that dominion. Get that dominion. Now in the name of Jesus.
I feel to prophesy over this generation. Greater things shall you see. You're going to see tens of thousands of people filled with the Holy Ghost in your ministry. You're going to see thousands baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. You're going to preach to tens of thousands. You're going to see miracle signs and wonders. You're going to see the demonstration of the Holy Ghost in fire. Elabor sotorabah. The hand of God is upon you. The hand of God is upon you. The hand of God is upon you. Let there be a flow of his spirit. Let there be the breath of God upon you. Let there be the wind of God upon you. That's it. You've got it. You've got it. You've got it. You've got it.
