Summary

Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.

You Have an Unction from the Holy One

  • He opens by reading from First John chapter 2: you have an unction from the Holy One and you know all things; let what you heard from the beginning abide in you, and you will continue in the Son and in the Father.
  • The anointing received from Him abides in you and teaches you of all things; it is truth and no lie — not a denial of teachers, but a warning to stop letting people without the Holy Ghost teach you about eternity.
  • The promise held out is eternal life, and confidence rather than shame when He appears: abide in Him so that at His coming you may have confidence and not be ashamed.
  • He admits he came with no prepared sermon and no title, borrowing “The Unction of the Unashamed” from a sermon he preached at Louisiana Youth Camp, and prays that God would stir up an anointing so none of them would ever be ashamed of what God has done for them.
  • “Unction” in the Greek of the passage is simply defined as anointing, and “abide” means to remain, to endure, to hold continually and not let go; John wrote because seducers, distractions and spirits are trying to lead the anointed away.
  • He names the pressure behind the message: a spirit of cancel culture, fear, anxiety and stress in the church has caused people to hesitate and balk in their delivery and testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Scriptures: 1 John 2:20-28

Confidence and Not Ashamed

  • “Confidence” in the Greek means freedom in speaking, unreservedness in speech, fearless and cheerful boldness; if you do not speak out and witness, you do not have confidence.
  • “Ashamed” means to become disfigured with fear and gradually become like your surroundings — he calls this the epitaph on the tombstone of some Pentecostal churches, their figure changing because they fear repercussions.
  • He tells of his older brother impersonating their father to call him in sick at school; the brothers sat on the couch praying, but when their father came home they had no confidence — and it is not the Father's will to find a church hoping it has done enough when He returns.
  • He honors the media team, including Brother Tyler Richie, leading the team on a scooter with a broken leg.
  • A man who pays his tithes through Green's church threatened to stop unless Green told the congregation exactly who to vote for; Green refused to be controlled by a checkbook: “You didn't call me and you can't vote me out… You're not going to put that shame on my spirit.”
  • He takes up Paul's declaration that he is not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth.
  • From the same Paul: there is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit.
  • Against the famous first verse he sets the eighth: the Romans' faith was spoken of throughout the whole world — they became famous not for ministry, position or conferences, but because they remained in the unction God gave them instead of acquiescing.

Scriptures: Romans 8:1; Romans 1:8

Bound in the Spirit, Pure from the Blood of All Men

  • Paul says he goes bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing what will befall him there, except that the Holy Ghost witnesses in every city that bonds and afflictions abide him — but none of these things move him.
  • He does not count his life dear unto himself, so that he might finish his course with joy and the ministry he received of the Lord Jesus: to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
  • Knowing they will see his face no more, Paul testifies that he is pure from the blood of all men, for he has not shunned to declare unto them all the counsel of God.
  • “Shunned,” he explains from the dictionary, means to be unwilling to speak out because of fear — unable to move, drawing back, hesitating to confess openly what you believe; Paul feared and doubted at times, but he did not shun, tower or hesitate.

Scriptures: Acts 20:22-27

Let Us Not Be Weary in Well Doing

  • He that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption, but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting; and let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.
  • “Faint” means to loosen up, to relax, to dissolve, to be immobilized through exhaustion, to lose hope and confidence; the word does not say there will be no struggle, fear or temptation — it says don't loosen up the gospel, don't relax in your calling, don't dissolve from the doctrine.
  • He tells his own weariness: sent to pastor though he felt ungifted for it, starting a church with ten people of an average age in their seventies, disliked by the saints after his first sermon, and asking God “why” every day for four months.
  • Brother Aaron Bounds told him he saw a big question mark on his spirit and that the place matters; months later Bounds prayed over him that he would have clarity in the next 48 hours — and God let him know, at least, that his questions were heard.
  • Brother Collins picked him up in Tampa and began prophesying clarity into his season of weariness, telling him God had given him regional authority; and when you are weary, Green's word is to lift your eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh help — my help comes from the Lord.

Scriptures: Galatians 6:8-9

Power Over: Dunamis and Authority

  • Jesus called unto Him the twelve and began to send them forth two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits, commanding them to take almost nothing for the journey — no bread, no money, no sermon notes.
  • Sister Ellis had already defined dunamis, the strength and ability of God that we must have; but Green has seen many young people who have dunamis yet are immobilized and silent because they lack the second word in the verse — power over, authority.
  • You cannot have spiritual authority if you are not submitted to spiritual authority; quoting the late Eli Hernandez's Maintaining Divine Operation, he says obeying while disagreeing is only the introduction to submission — real submission is showing up to spiritual authority with no opinion at all.
  • Brother Collins had told him he was in Austin to do the work of an apostle without holding the title; you cannot call yourself apostolic, like a marathon runner who has never run, if you do not do anything like the apostles did.

Scriptures: Mark 6:7

There Is a Sound of Abundance of Rain

  • When anointing is attached to authority you become like Elijah, who never said he heard a sound of abundance of rain: after three and a half years of drought, frail from fasting and prayer, he stood unashamed before 850 prophets bought by Jezebel and called fire down from heaven.
  • In the verse he expounds, Elijah tells Ahab, “Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound” — he declared what he did not hear, because hearing the voice of God once is all he needed.
  • His messenger went out and looked and came back reporting “there is nothing”; Elijah sent him again seven times, until at the seventh time he saw a little cloud arise out of the sea like a man's hand — and then warned Ahab to prepare his chariot before the rain stopped him, and a great rain came.
  • The Hebrew word for “sound” also means “voice,” and it is spoken twice — there is a voice, voice; and “abundance” means the roar of a crowd or multitude of people: the one voice left that was not ashamed prophesied a roaring multitude to come.
  • He tells of Elton Bernard, the pioneer missionary to Korea, lying in a full body cast after a nearly life-threatening car accident while raising funds, answering those who asked if he was sure: “God only has to tell me once.”
  • Jogging trails in Oregon, where his mother-in-law was recovering from a heart attack, he put his ear to a listening device on a lookout and heard winds and sounds from miles away that he could not hear standing beside it; likewise at the altar he hears the sound of an army and a multitude coming.
  • He calls everybody 35 and under to run to the altar and prays against the spirit of fear — that it would no longer have dominion over their destiny, their mouth or their tongue, and that they would not be disfigured by fear into gradually becoming like their surroundings.

Scriptures: 1 Kings 18:41

Not Ashamed to Be Different

  • In just the last six months, three or four families have left his church because of its stance on truth, one objecting to a church where they wear suits and ties; fear got into his spirit over it.
  • He fasted seven days over the suit-and-tie question because his elders had set that fence with fasting and prayer, and God said to keep it — so that when people in their area see his people, their first impression is that that person is different, and the hungry will ask why.
  • His best friend Brother Mark Brown sent him the study he had done: Paul never changed his garment, going into Corinth and Rome in a Hebraic garment disdained by the world — the garment does not make you different, but it opens the question of why you are.
  • The Hixson family remains in the church through the loss of a sister, a baby and another relative all within six weeks; he tells them God is positioning them for another unction of the Holy Ghost.

Do Something You've Never Done Before

  • At Holy Ghost Crusades across Missouri the week before, over 150 people received the Holy Ghost; preaching under 30 minutes one Sunday night, he received a word of wisdom: there is faith here, but there is also the spirit of fear perverting the calling and faith of this people.
  • He saw the pattern: every time he exhorted into the microphone the praise rose, and every time he stepped back it fell — the enemy studies your tendencies like a boxer studies an opponent's shoulders, and dodges every praise and worship he sees coming.
  • The instruction was to do something they had never done before, something the enemy was not expecting; a district official and his entire family ran the aisles for the first time in their lives, and he testified afterward that it broke in the trial of their life his family was going through.
  • In that service a young man dressed in women's clothing fell into a full-blown seizure; Green laid his hand softly on his head and whispered, “Jesus name, I command you, devil, to come out of this man right now” — the seizure stopped instantly, his eyes cleared, and after saying “I love you, Jesus” three times he began speaking in tongues.
  • A second demonic spirit manifesting in a lady nearby was cast out by the spoken word of faith alone, without contact, as he had learned from Brother Stoneking and Brother Robinette; both delivered people were brought up on the platform, fifteen more came running to the altar and were filled with the Holy Ghost, and they were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.
  • He closes the teaching with his rental car: Hertz overbooked, every airport counter empty, and an offsite company's $160 rental became $286 — but authority is not rented; if Brother Galloway signed his car's title over to Green, it would be silly to keep asking to borrow it. Jesus signed His authority over with His blood — stop trying to borrow what is legally yours.

An Impartation of Authority

  • He calls for spiritual elders on the platform to pray an impartation of authority over the young adults and young people: if you've got the Holy Ghost, you've got dunamis — now you're going to get authority, authority to cast out devils and to speak with new tongues.
  • He has them lift their hands and shout the name Jesus, and then turn and lay hands on a brother or sister — men with men, ladies with ladies — to activate the authority of the Holy Ghost: not just power, but dominion and power.
  • Because the spirit of fear knows your tendencies and knows when to dodge, he closes his eyes with them and prepares them, at the word “now,” to do something the enemy has never seen them do before; the per-sermon audio ends mid-appeal at that moment, with the breakthrough still being called for and no closing captured.

First John chapter 2 and verse 20 says, but you have an unction. Everybody say an unction. You have an unction from the Holy One and you know all things. Verse 24, let that the unction therefore abide in you which you have heard from the beginning. If that which you have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, you also shall continue in the Son and in the Father. And this is the promise that He hath promised us even eternal life. These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing, everybody say the anointing. The anointing which you have received of Him abideth in you and you need not that any man teach you.

He's not saying you don't need a teacher or a preacher. He's saying if you've been filled with a Holy Ghost, stop letting people that don't have the Holy Ghost teach you about eternity. But as the same anointing teaches you of all things and is truth and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, you shall abide in Him.

And now little children, that's a phrase for disciples and I'm preaching to disciples today. He says this is what you need to do, abide in Him. He says the anointing is going to abide in you. You need to abide in Him that when He shall appear we may have confidence. Somebody shall confidence and not be ashamed, not be ashamed before Him at His coming.

I really, I'm not trying to give any sort of false modesty. I'm just telling you the truth, all right? I didn't have a sermon. I was praying last night and this morning like, God, you got to give me something here or maybe Sister Ellis is just going to preach both sermons. I don't know. And I didn't have a title, so I'm borrowing a title, I guess from a previous sermon that I preached at Louisiana Youth Camp with my buddy, Brother Galloway. But I don't even know if I'm going to preach that sermon. I just feel like y'all need a title so y'all can sit down and feel comfortable. So I'm just going to use the title, The Unction of the Unashamed. Somebody say the unction of the unashamed.

Lord, I love you so much and I'm thankful that you've given me the grace to be here today and to deliver your word to these disciples, these labors of the last days who are going to reap an end time harvest. And I pray, God, that you would stir up in them an anointing and an unction where they would never be ashamed of what you have done for them. Deliver us today from the spirit of fear and loose our tongue that we can deliver your word with anointing and power in the name of Jesus Christ and everybody shout amen.

Now put your hands together and lift up your voice one more time and just shout hallelujah. Hallelujah. You may be seated in Jesus' name, the unction of the unashamed.

The word unction here used in the Greek of 1st John chapter 2 is just simply defined as anointing. Everybody say anointing. I was thinking about it just a few minutes ago. I guess this is the third time I have preached in some form or fashion on the subject of the anointing. Preached a couple of years ago on the second anointing. And I was hoping, I see they put little pictures up there. I was hoping they were going to use the picture of me destroying this pulpit, but they didn't do that. Second anointing. Last year I preached the anointing of all things and I just want to talk about the unction or the anointing of the unashamed. There is a spirit of cancel culture and fear and anxiety and stress in our church that has caused people to hesitate and to balk in their livery and testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. And John in this letter says, he says, you have an unction from the Holy One and so you need to let that, that unction abide in you. The word to abide simply means to remain, to endure, to hold continually and not let go. He says, let that anointing abide in you which you have heard from the beginning. He says, these things, verse 26, I write, I have written to you concerning them, that seduce you. There are people and there are things and there are distractions and spirits that are trying to seduce you and to lead you away. So I write this letter to remind you that you are anointed. You have an unction from the Holy One of God. Let that unction remain, endure in you. He says, but the anointing which you have received of him, it abideth in you, verse 28, so you abide in him that when he shall appear, we may have confidence speaking to the 35 and unders here.

You ever done something wrong at school or at home and thought, oh God, don't let my parents come home today. I remember when my brother who's five years older than me, he came home from college and I was in high school and he called the school to impersonate my dad to say that I was sick. But my dad was very familiar with the staff at my school and they knew it wasn't him. And so when my brother hung up the phone, he said, I don't think they bought it. The staff called my father and said, did you just call to tell us that your son is sick and won't be in school today? He said, no, I didn't. He said, well, somebody did. What's funny is that I went to school anyways when my brother realized I don't think they bought into this. And so he took me to school anyways. But that wasn't enough for my father. When my brother picked me up from school at the end of the day, I got in the car and he just shook his head like this and said, he knows. I remember we went straight home and we just sat on the couch and prayed. We thought if he comes home and sees us praying, when he came home, we had no confidence.

And John says, it is not the will of the father that when he comes back for his church, he finds a church within security and doubt, hoping that they have done the will of God, hoping that they are saved, hoping they have done enough. He said, I want to write this letter so that you can have confidence and not be ashamed.

The word confidence, the Greek means freedom and speaking, unreservingness in speech, fearless, cheerful.

I give honor to the media team. I gave all of them this like an hour and a half ago. I just sent them a bunch of jumble stuff here and said, good luck. Thank you. Give it up for the media team. Brother Tyler Richie, who's on a scooter, he's a holy roller right now. He's got a broken leg and still doing all this stuff and leading the team. Praise God. Confidence, somebody show confidence, freedom and speaking, which means if you don't speak out, Sister Ellis, you don't have confidence. If you're not a witness, you're not confident in the Lord. Freedom and speaking, unreservingness in speech, fearless, cheerful courage, boldness. He said, I want you to understand you are unctioned of the Holy Ghost. You have an anointing from the Holy One of God. Therefore, when he comes back, you will have confidence and not be ashamed.

The word ashamed means to become disfigured with fear, to gradually become like your surroundings. This has become the epitaph of the tombstone of some Pentecostal churches, that we are gradually becoming like our surroundings. We are becoming disfigured with fear. Our figure is changing. What people see is beginning to change because we are afraid of that spirit of cancel culture. We are afraid of that spirit of anxiety and stress and the consequence and the repercussions.

I had somebody text me, somebody that does not, I love it when people that don't attend my church tell me how to lead my church. He pays his tithes to our church. We're thankful that he pays his tithes through our church. You can be lost and still give me your money. But he sent a text just the other day and he said, have you told your church who to vote for? And I said, well, it's pretty clear, you know, as how I preach, and he says, no, have you told them to vote for so and so? And I said, well, no, I haven't. He said, well, if you don't say who to vote for and if you don't tell him exactly who to vote for, then I will not send you my tithes anymore. And I said, well, all right, you can send your tithes somewhere else because I'm not going to be controlled by your money. I'm not going to be controlled by your checkbook. And I'm not going to gradually become like my surroundings. I resist the spirit of fear and intimidation. I resist the spirit of anxiety that tries to hinder the pulpit and calls me to hesitate in my testimony. You didn't vote me in and you can't vote me out. You didn't call me and you didn't send me. You didn't make me who I am and you can't break me from what I have become. I have been called and I have been anointed by the Holy Ghost. I've been to the waters and I've been baptized. My soul got happy and I'm satisfied. You didn't die for me. You didn't carry a cross for me. You're not going to put that shame on my spirit. I've got an auction and I won't be ashamed. You'll not be ashamed.

It was Paul who said, for I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth. It was the same Paul who wrote in Romans 8 and verse 1 saying, there is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus who walked not after the flesh but after the spirit. We know Romans 8 1 but do you know Romans 1 8? Romans 1 8 says first, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world. You are famous because of your faith, not because of your ministry, not because of your position, not because of the conference you preached at. You have become famous because you have not acquiesced but you have remained in the unction of which God has given you.

Paul said, I am not ashamed of the gospel. This is why at the end of his ministry he said in Acts 20 and 22, and now behold I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem not knowing the things that shall befall me there save that the Holy Ghost witnesses in every city every conference I'm going to preach at that bonds and afflictions are waiting for me there but none of these things move me. I'm preaching to some young adults here right now. You can't be moved by fear. You cannot be silenced by anxiety. You've got to go bound by the unction of the Holy Ghost. He said none of these things move me. I'm not counting my life dear unto myself. He said I don't really think I'm all that in a bag of chips. I don't really think I've done a whole lot for God so that I might finish my course with joy and the ministry which I have received of the Lord Jesus. What's the ministry to testify the gospel of the grace of God? And now behold I know that you all among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God shall see my face no more. You're not going to see my preaching on YouTube anymore. You're not going to see me at Wynn's conference next year because I'm bound by the spirit. I got to go somewhere else. He's calling me to a different place. Wherefore I take you to record this day that I am pure from the blood of all men. For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. I have not shunned. I have not withheld. I have, that's what the word shun means to be unwilling to speak out because of fear, unable to move. I'm reading the definition from Thayer's Dictionary, shunned to be unable to move and unable to speak and to draw back to lower because of fear you hesitate to confess openly what you believe. He said, when I get to the judgment seat, Jesus is not going to say, well, I put you at that job. I put you at that school. I put you in that network and you never, you never witness to them and now their guilty blood is on your hands. Paul said, my hands are pure because I have not shunned, but I have operated and activated the junction and the anointing of the Holy One of God. I have not towered. I have not hesitated. Sure, I was afraid. Sure, sure, there was fear. Sure, there were doubts, but I did not shun.

This is why Paul could write to the church in Galatia. Is this all right? I don't know. I don't know where I'm going. I'm just following the Holy Ghost. Galatians 6 and verse 8, I just got a bunch of verses. I like people when the few times in my life when they say that's a good sermon, I say, shh, don't tell anybody. I plagiarized. I stole it right out of the Bible. Jeff Arnold would always say, you know, they ask, when do you get all them revelations? He said, well, just preach right from the Bible. Pentecostals don't know what's in there. Galatians 6 and 8, for he that soweth to his flesh shall love the flesh reap corruption, but he that soweth to the spirit shall have the spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not be weary and well-doing for in due season we shall reap if, it's discourage is made because I feel like I have fainted and feel like there's times God, I can't get out of bed. You just be quiet. It's okay. You don't have to testify to this, but I know there's times in my life in the last couple of years I have said, God, what am I doing here?

In fact, Brother Collins is here. He helped minister to me a couple of years ago. I was sucking my thumb. The Lord sent me to pastor, and I ain't no pastor. I'm not gifted to be a pastor. I can't even spell the word pastor. I got there and I didn't understand what I was called to do. And I'm just trying to figure out how to pastor and how to not yell so much. Try to be nice. I mean, literally after my first sermon as pastor, they didn't like it. They didn't like me, the saints. I went from being an evangelist, you know. I was telling Brother, Brother Adams last night, I felt like 10 years of evangelism most of my ministry was noticed. And then I went to Apollos Watered. Felt like I went into a ministry that was mostly unnoticed. My ego didn't know how to deal with it. My pride didn't know how to grapple with it.

And I was asking God this question every day, June, July, August, September, October. At this conference, I came four months after we like took 10 people and then started a church with 10 people average age in their 70s. And we took them and we started a new church. And I asked God the question, why every day for four months? And then Brother Aaron Bounds who was preaching here that year, he walked up to me right here and he says, I see a big question mark on your spirit. And every day you're asking God why. So far so good. He said, are you in the will of God? I said, I don't know. That's why there's a question mark and not an exclamation mark. I didn't say that, but I thought it. And he said, the place matters, Chris. You need to figure out if you're in the right place. And he walked away. I'm like, what good did that do? But it actually did a lot of good because at least it let me know that God was listening to me. When God doesn't give you an answer, he'll tell you, I hear your questions. The answer will come in the season.

Three months later, because of the times, you know, they assign your seats now because of the times because people like have nearly lost their life trying to fight for seats because of the times in years past. And so they sit me like second or third row. I'm just looking around, whom I sit and buy. And I said, Oh God, there's Aaron Bounds because I hadn't got clarity yet. I knew what he was going to ask me if he had a chance. We got to the altar like on the last night. I had avoided him all week. He comes up to me, sneaks up behind me. I think he hovered over to me and he says, Chris, do you have clarity? He says, all right. Well, let's pray. And he prays. He says, the Lord says in the next 48 hours, you will have clarity. So like 40 something about 48 hours later, I fly to Tampa, my first time to be with the Collins, we had never really been together at all. He just called me and said, the Lord said, you're supposed to come preach for me. I said, all right, anything to get out of where I'm at, I'll be there. He picks me up. He picks me up. First words out of his mouth. Jamaican or Chinese. And knowing my audience, brothers and Collins, I said Jamaican. In case it was a test, you know, Jamaican, first words, Jamaican or Chinese. I love it. I said Jamaican. I love Jamaican food. I do love Chinese food too. And on the way, and we've never been together, he starts prophesying. He's like, oh, now I know why God sent you here. And he begins to give me clarity. I'm in a season of weariness and I'm fainting in my spirit. And the Lord heard my questions. And he heard my prayers and sent two minute God prophets of God to say, the saith the Lord, when I'm speaking to a young adult and a young person here today, don't get weary and well doing. You will reap if you faint. The word faint is a clue, which means here's what faint means to loosen up, to relax, to dissolve, to weaken, to have one's strength relaxed. Here it is, to be immobilized through exhaustion, to grow weak and grow weary, to lose hope and confidence. It did not say that you can't struggle. It did not say that there's not going to be any fears. There's not going to be any temptations. There's not going to be any problems. It just says, don't loosen up, baby. Don't loosen up the gospel. Don't loosen up the anointing. Don't relax in your calling. Don't dissolve from the doctrine. Don't be immobilized through your exhaustion.

But when you are weary, say, I will lift my eyes unto the hills. From whence come my help, my help comes from the Lord. Somebody just clap your hands right now in the name of Jesus.

Speaking to some young adults and young people here today, that you already, you already feel like fainting. Sister Ellis preached about Dunamis and the warrior gave me this word this morning about the other word for power.

Mark 6 and 7 says, and he called unto him the 12 and began to send them forth two by two and gave them power over. Everybody say power over. He gave them power over unclean spirits. It's interesting because then it says he commanded them. He said, don't take anything for your journey. Don't take a staff. Or he said, save staff only. Don't take a script. No, no sermon notes. No iPad. No bread. No money. You've got power over. You don't need anything else. The two words power over are defined in one Greek term execia. Dunamis has already been defined today very eloquently, something that we must have. It is the strength of the Lord, the ability of God that is given to us. But what I have also seen is that there's a lot of young people that have Dunamis, but yet they are immobilized and silent because they lack execia, which is authority.

You cannot have spiritual authority if you are not submitted to spiritual authority. And I have come to the understanding and I read the late Eli Hernandez's book, Maintaining Divine Operation. If you've never read that book, you need to read it a hundred times and pray through it. We've taken our church through the entire book, what's four chapters? We've taken our whole church through that book twice praying through it. And he talks about submission and he says, I always thought submission was, was when you disagree with authority, but you do it anyways. He said, that's the introduction to submission. That's really just obedience. You can obey and not be submitted. And he says, submission is when you don't even have an opinion anymore. I referenced him so that you wouldn't be mad at me when I said that. He's passed. You, you, what are you gonna do? He said, real submission is when you show up to spiritual authority with no opinion at all, which means there's no opportunity to disagree, which means when you do obey, you're not doing it with the wrong spirit and saying, I don't know why I'm doing this again. When you really submit, you're saying, I'm so thankful I get to do this again. And, and I don't know, oh God. All right.

Authority. He said, listen, I'm going to send you out to reach the harvest. He said, you need Dunamis, but you also need execia. You need authority. That's what Brother Collins told me in the car that day. He said, Brother Green God has given you regional authority. I didn't even know what that was. He said, you are, he said, you are in Austin. He did not say, I'm an apostle. He said, you are there to do the work of an apostle. I'm like the work of an apostle. What is that? I realized, you know, I don't have to be a plumber to unclog a toilet, nor an electrician to change a light bulb. And I may not be an apostle, but don't we call ourselves apostolic, which means what? Like. You can't be like the apostles if you don't do anything like the apostles. You can't be like a marathon runner and show up at the Boston marathon having never ran before. You're going to die. You got to live like a runner. You got to live like an athlete. You can't, you can't show up to the Olympics. I guess unless you're like some break dancer person. I told you, I ain't got no notes. So I'm just, I love Australia, but they got some terrible break dancers. That's just the truth. You see, listen, listen, listen. When you have an unction and you have an anointing and you attach that anointing to authority, as Brother Robinette said, you can speak those things that are not as though they already were. It gets really tense when you say things like that, because there have been some knuckle heads that have gone before us and are still with us that manipulate the gifts. But it's like going to the gym and saying, well, they're not using those weights right. I'm canceling my membership. I'm going to go be unhealthy because they don't know how to be healthy. They knuckle heads in your family. You say, well, I'm divorcing this family because my brother can't get it right. Kind of nonsense as that. When you link together anointing and authority, you become like Elijah. Elijah, I'm going to get on really thin ice here until you find it in the scripture. Okay. Elijah never said, I hear a sound of abundance of rain. I sing it. I preach it. I love it. I'm thankful that some of you can hear it. Elijah never heard it. And first Kings 18 and 41, after three and a half years of drought, and he's been fasting and praying, he's just a bag of bones. He's got no muscle. He's got no fat left. And my God, he looks anemic. But yet he shows up in the power of the Holy Ghost and calls fire down from heaven. And that fire licks up that water, that sacrificial water that they had poured out on the ground. And where did the water go? It evaporated. And when water evaporates, where does it go? It goes up. And Elijah didn't hear anything. He was discouraged. He was frail. He was weak in his body, but he had an anointing. And he was not ashamed to stand toe to toe with 850 backslidden prophets who had been bought by Jezebel. And in first Kings 18 and 41, it says, and Elijah said unto Ahab the king, he said, get up king, eat and drink, for there is a sound. Young people hear what I'm saying.

So I have so many young people that come to me and say, brother green, help me. I'm not feeling what everybody else is feeling. And I say, how do you know what they're feeling? I don't hear the voice of God like you hear the voice of God. Elijah, he heard the voice of God three and a half years prior. And he said, hear the voice of God once is all I need.

That's what Elton Bernard said when he went to be the pioneer missionary in Korea. And he had made up his mind. We're going to Korea, got his license, planted a church in Hammond, Louisiana. He convinced the global missions board. Okay, I guess he is calling God had 200 soul revival in a couple of years in Hammond, Louisiana. And then they finally certify him stamp, approve. Okay, you're going to Korea. He starts raising funds and all of a sudden all hell breaks loose in his life. Go read the Korean frontier. It'll wreck your life. And and he him and his family gets into a nearly life threatening car accident. He was in a full body cast in the hospital. And somebody comes up to him and says, are you sure you're supposed to go to Korea? Ever since you set out to go ever all hell's breaking loose. Are you sure you're supposed to go to Korea? He looked up in a full body cast and said, God only has to tell me once. How many times does God have to tell you go go? How many times does God have to say build an altar? How many times does God have to say pray fast submit have faith and God. Elijah said, I only heard it once and I don't see any evidence yet, but there is a sound of abundance of rain. In other words, whether you hear it or not, it is still there. Even his messenger who went out and looked came back in verse 43. Can you put first Kings 18 and 43 up? The messenger comes back and contradicts. There is a sound. The messenger comes back and says, there is even your closest companions will say, when I look at you, I see nothing. I know you too much. I've gotten too close to you to see your flaws and overlook your faith. There is nothing. No, no, no, no, there is nothing. And Elijah just says, go again. In fact, he tells him seven times, go again. You're going to go until you're nothing becomes something. You're going to go until you see what I have spoken. Wait, this is apostolic atmospheres, right? There was nothing in the atmosphere. He had to put it there by his prophetic auction. He said, there is nothing. He said, go again seven times. And finally, verse 44, and it came to pass at the seventh time. He said, watch this, there arises. That's another word for revival. There's a revival happening. There's something rising in the atmosphere. There's a little cloud coming out of the sea like a man's hand. That's a reference to spiritual authority. It's coming out of the sea like a man's hand. There's a revival coming over you. There's an atmosphere about to change your life. And he said, look, all he had seen now, in fact, he hadn't even seen it. He just heard it. He heard a testimony. There's a cloud the size of a man's hand. And Elijah said, go up and say to Ahab, prepare your chariot and get down that the rain stopped the knot. All the atmosphere had was a cloud this size right here. And he said, yeah, I know that's what it has now, but get ready. There's about to be thunder. There's about to be lightning. There's about to be a deluge coming. And it came to pass in the meanwhile that the heaven was black with clouds and wind. And there was a great rain. Ahab abode and Ahab rode and went to Jezreel and the hand of the Lord was on Elijah. And he girded up his loins and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel. He may be seated. Verse 41, and Elijah said in day he have, he said, get the up and drink and eat for there. Everybody say there he is. He didn't say I hear anything. Everybody else is getting called. Everybody else is getting promoted. And all the ministers are calling out my friends and prophesying over them. I hear nothing. I hear silence. Whether you hear it or not, it's there. The word sound in the Hebrew is the word Kolei, which is defined as sound or voice. Everybody say voice. He said there is a voice. He said all the other prophets voices have been killed. And the other prophets that are alive are silent in a cave. I'm the only voice left, but there's a voice coming. In fact, when you read it in the Hebrew, it says it twice. It says there is a voice, voice. He doesn't just say it once. He double emphasizes it. It doesn't make any grammatical sense, brother Urshin. It doesn't make any grammatical intelligence sense. But he said there's a sound, sound. And then he says of abundance. That's a Pentecostal word if I've ever seen one. Abundance. Come on, somebody.

He was prophesying the Pentecostal movement. Come on, brother Collins. You like that, right? Look what he said. There is a sound, sound. There is a voice, voice. And then he repeats the word abundance twice. Abundance, abundance. Double emphasis. I don't care if it makes grammatical sense and your college education. There's a revival. There's a harvest that is exceeding abundantly. Above all, we can ask or think. The word abundance is chamon, which means the roar of a crowd or multitude of people. He said, I'm the only voice left. I'm the only voice that's not ashamed anymore. But there's a voice, voice, voice. There is a mighty roar of a crowd or multitude of people. I hear it somewhere in the distance. I feel it coming.

I was in Oregon just recently. My mother-in-law had a, had a heart attack and she's doing much better. She's recovering. We went last minute, just a week and a half ago or so. And I was, I went early in the morning. I go jogging in the morning and I went into the trails and the mountains. And Oregon's beautiful. And I'm going through these trails and early in the morning. And I'm on a trail. I've not been before. And there's like a lookout type thing in the mountains that looking over the valleys. And I see this, this thing in the ground. And it's like a megaphone. It's massive. Like four feet long and like two feet in diameter. The circle at one end and on the other end of that megaphone, it was a circle about that size. I'm thinking, wow, I'm jogging like this. I don't know exactly what it is, but it looks like something to shout into. I'm like, this is, I'm going to wake everybody up in this valley. This is the day! And I get up to, I mean, my crazy mind is thinking, this is something to like scream into. And I get up to, and there's a little sign and it says, put your ear up to it. It said, place your ear on this device, whatever it was called. And I put my ear up to it. And it says, when you listen in this megaphone, you can hear the sounds and the winds from miles and miles away. Put your ear up to something, you know, like, what is it? Those they call, the conch shells. I knew they would know the Floridians. You can hear the ocean. I never heard the ocean in one of them things. Got the wrong thing, but I put my ear up to that megaphone thing. What I couldn't hear right here, I just took one step this way and I put my ear like this. And I heard sounded like rushing from miles. I couldn't see it, but when I put my ear up to this thing, all of a sudden, there was a sound, there was a voice on its way that I couldn't yet feel or could not yet see yet.

Brother Myers, I feel that same way standing right here today. When I put my ear to the altar like on a train track, all of a sudden I can hear the sound of an army coming. I can hear the sound of a multitude of a footfall coming to an altar. I can hear the voice of a roaring crowd of people. I can hear the voice of a multitude of lost souls that can declare with an unction with me today. There is a sound, a mighty rushing wind that's gonna, it's gonna feel all the house. It's gonna feel all the city. There's gonna be billions. There's gonna be billions of lost souls receiving. Just lift your hands and let the prophetic utterance of the Lord move upon you. There is a sound, there is a harvest, there is a revival, there is a reaping. I feel like crying out saying, Jesus, swing the sickle, swing the sickle, thrust in your sickle, reap.

I want everybody 35 and under to run up to this altar right now. I want you to stand. Nobody kneeling. Everybody stand. Everybody else flow in behind them or in front of them if you're gonna pray for them. I feel it come against the spirit of fear. I feel it come against the spirit of depression, confusion. The Lord would say right now unto you that the spirit of fear will no longer have dominion over your destiny. The spirit of fear will no longer have dominion over your mouth. The spirit of fear will no longer have dominion over your tongue. The spirit of dominion you're not gonna be, you're not gonna be disfigured by fear gradually becoming like you're surrounding. You're gonna let the world know I am apostolic.

Just the last six months I've had three families leave, four families leave our church because because of our stance on truth. One of them said I'm not, I don't want to be a part of the church where they wear suits and ties. I'm like there's only two of us. You can wear whatever you want but it puts so much fear in my spirit. I called my best friend brother Mark Brown, I said man and I'm not against any church that doesn't wear a suit and tie. You don't have to wear a suit and tie. I fasted and prayed about it. You know why I fast and prayed about it? Because my elders fast and prayed about it. I'm not gonna move a fence that they put there with fasting and prayer unless I've fasted and prayed and God says move the fence. I don't think you have to wear a suit and tie to be apostolic. But I fasted and prayed about it and said God what do you want me to do? And it was a seven day fast over a suit and tie. And God said we're the suit and tie. I want you to be different from everybody in this area. When they see you they will have a first impression that that person's different. Why are they different? And so when that fear got in me I began to pray God I really have to do this. And I talked to Mark Brown and I said if Paul was alive today and he's going to Damascus or Ephesus or Corinth would he wear a suit and tie? And he brought out all these notes of the study he had done. He sent them to me and he said Paul never changed his garment. He went into Corinth in Rome with a hebraic garment that was disdained by the world. He went right in there with the Jewish garment. He said yeah you better believe it I'm different. And if you're hungry you'll come and ask me why are you different? It's more than my clothes. The garment doesn't make me different. Let me tell you why I'm different.

That spirit of fear has tried to compromise my mind. And I thought it was just me and I started talking to people and they're going through the same thing.

The Hickson family is still here. They've gone through loss. It's talking to them. A heart so broken for this family. They've gone through loss. Lost a sister. Lost a baby. Lost another relative. All within six weeks. The Hickson that's God positioning you for another unction of the Holy Coast. That's God positioning you for another anointing of his spirit. I've talked to so many ministry couples and families. I've talked to so many.

I was just talking to one in Missouri, brother bachelor. I was just in Missouri doing a Holy Ghost Crusades last week. They had Holy Ghost Crusades throughout Missouri. They had over 150 people receive the Holy Coast. Preach we had Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday morning, Sunday night. And in section four, I remember that Sunday night. My God, it was like a bomb went off of faith. And I was preaching and I usually don't go more than four or five hours. I really rarely go under 30 minutes. But it was under 30 minutes that night. It was a miracle. The Lord spoke to me and said, there is faith here. He said, but there is also the spirit of fear. The Lord spoke to me and said, there are spirits of fear in this room that are perverting the calling and faith of this people. And I noticed something. Every time I was in the microphone, exhorting at the pulpit, you know, come on, please God, lift your hands and worship. And I'm just exhorting in faith. Everybody's standing and clapping, shouting. And then I put the microphone down to clap myself and then it would go down. You're having a guy that come on 60 more seconds. Come on worship God. Put the microphone down and step back. And it went down. I'm telling you, it was in an instant, the Lord gave me a word of wisdom. And he said, your enemy knows your tendencies. And every time they begin to praise the enemy knows it's coming. Because he sees you getting the mic and the enemy knows they're about to praise. I'm going to duck a little bit. And as soon as you get out of the mic, the enemy stands right back up like a boxing match. You study your opponent's tendencies. And you know, when he turns his shoulder this way, he's coming with a jab. When he turns his shoulder this way, he's coming with an uppercut. And you study your opponent enough to know their tendencies so that when they're getting ready to hit, you just dodge. He said, the enemy is dodging every praise and every worship that's going up in this place. He said, tell them to do something that they've never done before, that the enemy is not expecting. He said, and the enemy will be delivered out of this place tonight. So I just went up to the microphone and I just told him exactly what I told you. And I said, so if you want to be delivered tonight, I said right now begin to do something you've never done before. I don't have words to really describe exactly what took place. I do know that one of the district officials and his entire family took off running around that sanctuary. It's an official, a headquarters official in the district, a pastor, he's running him and his family running around the church. He told me later after church, he said, you have no idea what my family is going through. He said, we are going through the trial of our life. He said, but it broke when he said, my family has never run the aisles like that. He said, and when we did something we've never done before, it now.

So I just kind of let it erupt spontaneously. And when I felt the time was right because there was a harvest there, I wanted to give instruction for people to receive the Holy Ghost. I grabbed the microphone and I put it up to my mouth to speak and a lady comes running down the aisle like this. Because the moment I said, do something you've never done before, do something the enemy is not expecting and they started doing it, two demonic spirits began to manifest itself in that service. The lady comes running up to me saying, Brother Green, Brother Green, quick, quick, quick, come with me. Someone's having a seizure. My first carnal thought was, you don't need me. You need 911. And then the gift of faith rose up in me and I felt the Lord say, no, I'm going to heal this person and it's going to set off a catalyst for miracles all over this sanctuary. So I followed this lady down the aisle. This was just Sunday night. It was five, four, five days ago. And I walked down the aisle and she said, this young man's having a seizure. I get over to a young man who is wearing women's clothing, heels and knee-high boots, women's clothing, necklace and earrings. He was, had just stepped onto the path of transgenderism. And he's having a full blown seizure. Eyes are rolled back, foment at the mouth, having a seizure. And people are screaming and shouting over him. And I said, stop, hold on just a second. And I just walked real softly over to him and I laid my hand on his head and a whisper. I just said, Jesus name, I command you, devil, to come out of this man right now. Instantly the seizure stopped. His eyes became clear. His mouth cleared up. He looked up. He looked at me relieved. But I said, no, no, it's not over yet. I said, lift your hands and say, I love you, Jesus. He said, I love you, Jesus three times. And then instantly began speaking in tongues. He laid out on the floor speaking in tongues. I walked up to the platform and I looked and there was the other demonic spirit manifesting itself in a lady about 10 feet or 15 feet from me and I couldn't get to her because there's people in between us. And I just stood like this and I said, I learned from Brother Stone King and Brother Robinette. Okay, I was going to tell those stories, didn't get to him. I learned from these guys and I learned that sometimes you can't make contact with them. Sometimes you just got to speak the word of faith and I just spoke the word of faith and said in the name of Jesus, devil, come out of that girl and instantly the girl who was shaking like this. I mean, her eyes were black and she's shaking like this. The demonic spirit manifesting itself. When I just said in Jesus' name, she went completely calm and I said, now receive the Holy Ghost and she began to speak with other tongues. Listen,

I brought her and I brought that boy up to the altar. I brought him up on the platform. A man dressed in women's clothing. I didn't care about the platform guidelines in that moment. I brought him up to the platform. I wanted the devil to see and everybody to see what he cannot do. I wanted the devil to see. You ain't got no authority. When I told them what God did for those two people, 15 more people came running to the altar and were filled with the Holy Ghost speaking in tongues. We baptized them in the name of Jesus Christ. I need some spiritual elders on the platform real quick because we're going to pray an impartation of authority. If you've got the Holy Ghost, you got dunamis. Now you're going to get authority. Exuccia. You're going to have an impartation of the authority of the name. Explain this for a second. You got to understand what you do with authority.

Let me tell you, I was told to rent a car. I got a rent a car from Hertz. On my flight, everybody say he rented a car. On my flight, I get a text message. We overbooked. Sorry. No car. I'm looking through every rental car place in the whole Orlando airport. My wife has so much faith. She said, my God, winds is blowing up so much. It's taking all the rental cars from Orlando. My wife's got faith. I believe it. And so I get there. There's no cars in the whole airport. So I had to find an offsite low end brand like the Reebok of car rentals. And it was sketchy. It was sketchy. And they were scamming me. It said it was going to be $160. And by the time they finished scamming me, you have to have this and this and this. It went up to $286. But because of the way this brand is, you didn't have a choice. I was renting their car. You see, and if I'm going to be late today, when I take back the car, I have to tell them, I'm going to be late. And if I want the car again, I have to call them and say, can I have your car again? Can I borrow your car? Wouldn't it be kind of silly for me to say, hey, Brother Galloway, I need to borrow your car to go down to the publics and get some milk. And then he's so nice. He says, hey, honey, his wife is here. Brother Green needs a car. Let's just give him the car. And now I own the car. He writes the title over into my name. It's my car. Legally, it's my car. How silly would it be to say, hey, Brother Galloway, we ran out of milk. You know, three boys. But I need milk. Can I borrow that car again and go get more milk? You're looking at me like, what are you talking about? It's your car. You do with it. What you want to do? You can use it anytime. Is he doing this? He says, like, we kind of rent that car. And the next who sees, you've got the authority. It's legally yours now. You don't have to borrow it. This is what we Pentecostals do. Jesus, is there any way I need your power? Is there any way Oh God, I need your power. Jesus is saying, I signed it over to you with my blood. It is yours. It is yours. Stop trying to borrow it. I bought it for you. It's your authority.

Everybody lift up your hands and elders. We're going to pray a prayer of impartation of authority over these young adults and young people. Lift up your hands. When I say in the name of Jesus, I want you to shout that name Jesus as loud as you can and instantly be speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance by the authority of the Word of God and by the power of your holy name. I release the gift of faith. Impart your authority right now in the name of Jesus. Lift up your voice. Speak with other tongues. You've got authority. You've got authority to cast out devils to speak with new tongues. You've got authority. More fear. No more doubt. No more anxiety. No more depression. Authority in the Holy Ghost. You've got an unction. You've got an anointing. You shall not be ashamed. There's an impartation of exusea. There's an impartation of authority. Receive it now. Receive it now. Receive it now. Receive it now. Receive it now. Start up the gift of God.

I want you to turn around and lay hands on a brother or sister. Men with other men, ladies with other ladies. Turn around and lay your hands upon them and activate the authority of the Holy Ghost. Not just power, power and authority. Dominion and power. Dominion and power. Dominion and power.

There's one more level right here. I feel it in my spirit. There is another level of a breakthrough in this place. I want you to close your eyes right now. The spirit of fear knows your tendencies. He knows the things you always do. So when you do the things you always do, he knows when to dodge. He knows when to back off because he knows at some point you're going to silence that shout. So I want you to close your eyes. And when I say the word now, I want you to do something he's not expecting. I want you to do something he's never seen you do before. And there is going to be a mighty breakthrough on which you have never felt or experienced before. Get ready. The roof is about to break. Get ready. The walls are about to come down. Get ready. In the name of Jesus, I release you to do what you've never done before. Right.
