Ascending and Descending

I'll be honest with you, there's only been a few times that I've really kind of wrestled with the message and just, you know, and this is one of them. I have never laid claim to being a prophet. I have people call me that but I've never promoted myself as a prophet. It's kind of hard to be a prophet in a nonprofit organization and you know I need to stop right now for I say something I'm gonna regret but you know we I think we say we want five-fold ministry and I think that we want the glamour of five-fold ministry but you know when prophets showed up in the Old Testament they didn't always have a positive word. Matter of fact, matter of fact they would meet them at the gates of the city, they'd send an offering and they would say have you come in peace and you know I think we say we want the concept of it until God tells us something that we don't necessarily enjoy and so I don't want to approach that way tonight but I do want to obey the Holy Ghost. I'm not gonna have to stand in answer to you and judgment I have to answer to him and so I want to I want to say what I feel like the Holy Ghost wants me to say. I ask him to help me to say only what I needed to say, nothing more, nothing less and to confirm his word with signs following. Amen.

I want to read to you from Genesis chapter 28 and we'll read verse number 12 and then we'll go to Matthew chapter 17 if you want to stand for the reading of the work if somebody wants to stand for me I'd appreciate it right now. Amen. Genesis chapter 28 verse number 12 and he dreamed and behold a ladder set up on the earth and the top of it reached the heaven and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. Everybody say ascending everybody say descending. Matthew chapter 17 and verse number 20 Jesus said unto them because of your unbelief. But rarely I say unto you if you have faith as a grain of a mustard seed you shall say unto this mountain everybody say this mountain this mountain remove hints to yonder place and it shall remove and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Amen. I love you Jesus and I'm honored to stand before your people. I don't think this lightly God pray that you'll help me to be what I need to be tonight say what I need to say and I ask you to bear witness we need you more we need you more than we have ever needed you before help us God to be what you want us to be I take authority and I exercise authority in this service right now in the name of Jesus I bind anything that has come to hinder to hinder the flow of your spirit I give it you all the praise and the glory in Jesus name everybody said amen God bless you turn somebody next to you shake their hand and tell them we're gonna talk about ascending and descending

I have preached through the years from it's kind of hard to believe that I've been preaching 40 something years now I started when I was about four but I I've looked at and preached a lot from Genesis chapter 28 especially where it says that he lied it up on a certain place he took stones of that place used those stones for a pillow when you study that out that certain place that Jacob had come to was Abraham's first and original altar in the land of King then he'd heard the stories he heard them talk about it's kind of amazing because Abraham was going in this direction Jacob was coming back the other direction but he comes to that certain place some historians believe that the stones that he used for a pillow were stones off of Abraham's altar which to me is an amazing thing because what some people will use for comfort the other people use for an altar and he lights there he goes to sleep he has this crazy dream and in that dream he sees angels ascending and descending he wakes up the next day and he proclaims surely the presence of the Lord was in this place and I knew it not for this is none other but the house of God and the gate of heaven you are presently looking now at where God would abide his house and what opens the heavens this is it I'm in that place this is what this is all about God establishes the covenant with him it's an amazing story

but what's really amazing about this is the ladder now you know for years I always kind of viewed it when it said ladder kind of like a construction ladder but I found out that that's not really the description that's given to us but it's more like staircase and it went from the heavens to the earth I think that it came from the throne of God and I think that this place was the gate this is where whatever was going to come from the heavens into the earth was going to pass through this place this is the gate of heaven I don't know about you but whatever I'm involved in whatever ministry I have in the church I want to be a part of something that is a gate of heaven and the house of God whatever God's going to do whatever God's going to do in this earth but when you look at that these angels are ascending and descending and it's to me again it's just an amazing story but I

I want to use a word here that spooks some of us a little bit it's the word altar and it's amazing to me that anytime that you read about the throne of God in the Scripture in close proximity there's an altar because I am convinced that the only way that I can get to the throne of God is by the altar and when God decides to send something from the heavens to the earth he looks for an altar

now we think that altar is a place of prayer that's not really true the altar is a place of death you can pray but not have an altar and if you're not careful if you don't have an altar in your prayer then you pray a miss because you're trying to pray your will and you're trying to pray by your own understanding I find it really amazing that when Paul wrote to the Romans he was very clear I'm seeking therefore brother by the mercies of God that you present your bodies of living sacrifice wholly acceptable under God which is your reasonable service and I say you know don't be conformed to this world but rather be transformed by the renewing of your minds that you might prove was that good acceptable and perfect will of God I know some people preach that there's three levels to the will of God I don't know about that I've never tried just to find the good will of God but I do believe that the will of God is good it's perfect it's acceptable in all those things I think that's what it means that's what I think it means but the fact is is that there is only one way that I will ever find the will of God and that is at the altar that is where I take my will my desires and I put them on there for them to die out so that the will of God can be established and God can do a little brain surgery not I may be a y'all are different here in Florida wherever you come from but I need brain surgery every once in a while because I can get my mind thinking it's got to be this way or it's got to be a certain way and I'm convinced that that's the way that God's got to do it and then sometimes I find myself fighting God everybody in here's a control freak losing some of you right now we all want to be in control don't sit there and act like oh not me yeah you do it's in your human nature to be in control you know we all want to go somewhere else with God just just give me a minute here give me a little attitude we all want to go somewhere but if you ever know something

Jesus on the cross and he's ready to die he makes the statement he said father into thy hands I commend my spirit now understand that Jesus Christ is about to transition from his earthly ministry to his heavenly ministry as far as I can see as the high priest so there is a transition he's got to come from here to here and then in that statement he says father into thy hands I commend my spirit Jesus knew that the only way for him to get to the next dimension level place he had to lose control he had to lose control and it's the same thing for us we keep talking about this great revival we keep talking about what God wants to do but the reality of it is we will never get there until we are willing to lose control and not try to tell God how he ought to do it see we all have this fear that if I lose control it's out of control but that's not the way it works if you give it to God and you lose control it's his it's in his control it's not out of control he now controls it and if we're going to have the end-time harvest that we say we're going to have the church is going to have to come to the point that we're going to have to be willing to let go of us trying to control how God's gonna do it where God's gonna do it when God's gonna do it and we just have to learn to get to the altar and say like Jesus did not my will I need a little help here right now not my will but I will be done understand now that's stung a little bit probably but understand that Jesus is you know or Jacob saying this ladder and I see angels ascending and descending and all this

so I remember years ago brother Ewing preached a message when angels go home and a tremendous message and just all that but here's what I want you to see when Jacob declares that this is the house of God understegative heaven it is confirmed in the New Testament when Jesus calls for who was it Nathaniel he gets over there and he's said wow man that was quite a word of knowledge you see me on the fig tree you know and Jesus said oh if you think that's something watch him watch him if you think that's something from this day forward the heavens will open and you'll see angels ascending and descending upon the Son of man Jesus just proclaimed to them you are presently looking at the house of God and the gate of heaven you will see angels ascend and descend upon me which means it is connecting heaven to earth the first thing that God created was the heavens in the earth God always expected them to work in tandem in the prayer of the Lord's prayer is very clear our father which art in heaven hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven now there it is again we've got to die out we've got to be willing to come to the altar what we want to do is we want to get the heavens opened I've preached about fire for years and dear Lord I think it scorched me more than I want and I was at brother bounds I don't know it's been five six years ago maybe and there's tons of interpretation and the interpretation was this you've asked me where the fire is and I will tell you my fire is reserved in the heavens if you want my fire my fire seeks an altar my fire will only fall at the altar if you get a fire without an altar you've got a strange fire but the key to it is if we really want all this stuff that we say we're gonna have to be willing to come to the altar and die out and let God have it me's and into it

here's Jesus comes down off the Mount of Transfiguration and he's got quite a little deal going on down there some of his disciples have been down there trying to cast the devil out of a deaf and dumb boy and I preached a few weeks guard church San Francisco on deaf and dumb spirit because they would like to creep into the church and so let's talk about that but Jesus comes down and he tries well he doesn't try he's watching these other guys try he comes down the father comes to him and says Lord I'm trying to believe but help my unbelief now I believe that the reason why he said that was is because I've been watching your disciples try to do this and I'm just a little discouraged to be honest with you I I'm trying to believe this is definitely not going the way now you know it to me it's amazing story because before they got sent out by two they come back saying even devils are subject to us you really look at that verse Jesus said don't rejoice because devils are subject to you rather rejoice because your names is what's just written in heaven didn't say it was written in the Lamb's book of life it was written in heaven in other words you because of your submission are recognized in the court of heaven and because you are submitted to me and my kingship you can go forward in my name and cast devils out so Jesus you know he said okay let's just take care of this we cast the devils out and you know just imagine put yourself in the same situation now the disciples said to Jesus why couldn't we do that well because of your unbelief I said it last night I won't say it again tonight because I think sometimes we overlook some things growing up in the church I've heard that there's just some devils that will only go out but by prayer and fasting and that's the verse that they use but see the problem is is that Jesus has already moved from addressing the devils to talking to them about their unbelief what he's saying to them is it's not devils that go out by prayer and fasting but it's your unbelief that goes out by prayer and fasting I've already given you the authority to do whatever you need to do you just don't believe it and the only way for you to get to the place where you can believe is you've got to deal with that unbelief see prayer and fasting is not twisting God's arm or the or the elder brother is this too much or the elder brother you know he tells he tells his dad and the prodigal the parable product we said all these years of I serve the never transgressed I love I laid that commandments you never killed me a fatty calf look I got my time card I put my time in you owe me a fatty calf and if we're not careful that's how we view praying and fasting if I put enough in you owe me something God I'm gonna tell you God's already paid the price for everything there is to pay I I

I don't have to pay that price just stay with me I don't have to pay that price but what I need to do is get rid of this unbelief unbelief is in your flesh I'm gonna go a little step further man I'm just having all kinds of fun here tonight all this stuff about the devil the devil the devil oh stop we all got to have something to say it's his fault the devil the devil the devil the devil the devil hasn't made you do anything you mean to tell me the devil coming to your bedroom went over got the paper out got the marijuana out poured it in the paper rolled it up stuck it in your mouth let it pounce you in the stomach so you'd exhale and in hell you sin when you are drawn away by your own lust the devil's not my biggest problem the princes of this area is not my biggest problem

the biggest problem that I have is this old flash and if you really want to walk in victory you know man I just I need to get this this this whole spiritual warfare dear and I believe in it listen man I have I have fought stuff and fought it but here's what I've learned about spirits spirits the way they get strongholds is through your thinking so to have true victory against the spirit means you do not control my thinking I am going to think the way the word of God wants me to think you are not going to control my thinking that means you need to be a skillful swordsman two or three years ago at conference and one of those seminars on spiritual warfare and I knew oh I knew what they expect them when they got there and I knew they left like oh God brother Morgan he's flipped out because here's the bottom line the only weapon that you have is the sword of the spirit and it's amazing to me that when Jesus is going into the temptation the enemy and this is something that I think the church of 2025 needs to get a good grasp on is because the attack of the enemy is always about your identity and the first thing that he attacks Jesus over after coming out of the waters baptism is if you are the son of God turn these stones to bread and Jesus said it is written see our generation is an identity crisis and we're letting everybody else tell us who we are if you really want to know who you are go to the Bible it is written everybody's still good all right all right I got y'all wasted my time I got now here's the deal so here's deal

now Jesus he's on top of this mountain it's called the Mount of Transfiguration to me it's one of the most incredible stories in the New Testament I call it the second witness of sonship first witness of sonship is in the waters of baptism when the heavens open and the voice of the Father spake and said this is my beloved son which means it was a spiritual utterance for all you that don't believe in talking in tongues tongues is not the Holy Ghost tongues is the witness of the witness of the spirit then the second witness is on the Mount of Transfiguration now he gets to the Mount of Transfiguration and it's amazing because here appears Moses and Elijah which other incredible story goes on that mountain back over there of Moses because Moses smoked the rock second time God said nope can't go in the Promised Land and Moses dies and then Michael has to come and dispute over the body of Moses and this is this is something that God showed me a few weeks ago he said Moses made a mistake but his mistake did not abort his destiny because he said I want to go to the Promised Land well it looks like he didn't get to go but in Matthew chapter 17 he's there and that's why that's why that God had to send supernatural things in to this situation to stop the enemy because see once you make a mistake and you think it's over the enemy comes for you but Michael said the Lord rebuked the you're not gonna take him God's got a future reference from him now another thing that Moses asked God to do is show me that face and you know that story God said I can't show you my face and you live I can show you my hinders parts I've actually heard preachers preach that God turned his backside to Moses he got a glimpse I guess I don't know if he's in a hospital gown or whatever it was but them things are the devil not going there but the fact is is the hinders parts of God was from creation to the present tense that's why Moses wrote it God was showing me his hinders parts he said but I can't show you my face meaning that the future he doesn't exist yet but there'll be a day you'll be able to see his face and the glory of God will be in the face of this Messiah Jesus Christ and I'll let you see it then so everything that Moses thought he lost over there on the Mount of Transfiguration God said what I couldn't let you do back then I'm gonna let you do and we'll let you see it now and it's amazing to me that it's Moses and Elijah which is the law and the prophets that they are bearing witness of his sonship but it's not just him it's not just the law and the prophets but the apostles so now you have the law of prophets and the apostles all bearing witness of his sonship and there's Jesus he's starting to glow like a light bulb light wouldn't shine on him light was shining out of him because glorification is the removal of flesh where there's nothing to veil the glory of God so if the church wants more glory we're gonna have to get rid of more flesh too much flesh y'all still here everybody still good all right now now here's the deal so all this is happening up there now here's old Simon Peter you got to give it to him hey hey there's a couple problems that number one are you gonna try to put Moses and Elijah equal to me Simon you don't get it do you you're looking at the tabernacle I am the tabernacle give it Simon Peter you know he he wanted to cap he wanted to build a house for it let's make this permanent let's charge 2995 for people to come up the mountain and get into one of our tabernacles mess them up I take that right now now here's the deal he said no we're not we're not gonna stop we're not gonna stop up here we're not gonna build some permanent up here we need to go back down the mountain and so he goes back down the mountain and he's casting the devils out I want you to notice I want you to notice in my text that Jesus is there and he says this mountain now let me ask you all y'all are in town I mean my God man we got all the brainiacs sitting over here he said this mountain what mountain do you think he was talking about he's talking about the Mount of Transfiguration this mountain I just come down from this mountain but if you have faith as the grain of a mustard seed this is probably a better way to interpret it as you can say for it to go from here to there see this mountain if you have faith as the grain of a mustard seed you can speak to that mountain right there and tell it you've got to go from where you're at to where I need you right now save some of you a lot of effort in fact I could probably save you from God is so awesome and he's let me see this and it's just incredible but if I tell you I need to charge you for it because I mean this is awesome this is so awesome I mean I'll be honest with you sometimes I'm awesomized by my own awesomeness I mean this is just incredible what I want to do is okay let me

I need a volunteer don't come up here bring your wallet how you get from here to there now listen this is so profound and so deep how many think you can handle it okay boy you don't have a lot of people out there in your corner all right you ready for it this gonna save you a lot of time effort reading books all the stuff I'm about to tell you how you get from here to there you're ready for it you just got to want to be there more than here in that profound I'm surprised you didn't fall out right there on the platform it's not that hard you're where you're at because that's where you want to be no watch what he does what's what he does remember angels ascending and descending what's what he does you go sit at that that's so awesome I mean that's a lot more than your dad could give you I tell you that right now he's still trying to figure out here didn't mean to start that that would be a didn't ever end but here's deal we

let's go back to these angels ascending things so here's what Jesus is saying is you would like to house my glory on the top of that mountain but I need for what we ascended to to descend because see I wasn't trying to show you my glory just so you could be awesomized by it and what you got a glimpse of on that mountain is needed right here think about it it's needed right here I need you to take what was on the top of that mountain now if you remember when Jesus did to go Lazarus he said this this is for the that that he might be glorified that God might be going for this is all for the glory of God and when he delivers that boy down there that was God manifesting his glory and so what he's saying is look you can get so raptured up there knowing who I am and seeing my glory and all this light shining and then you just want to put it in the building and keep it there but I need you to take that but you ascended to and I need you to descend because it's needed at the base of this mountain everybody okay let's just be honest here we go let's just be honest everything with God is about trying to get heaven to earth and if you look at if you look at this deal if you look at the ascending and descending and I want to take just a moment here when you look at that and you look at the way that God operates these angels were ascending and descending that's the true nature of the way that things ought to happen now what happens is is when Jacob sees the ladder the Lord is at the top of the ladder but Jesus was willing to descend everyone says willing to descend as the Lord and manifest himself I've already told you said you're looking at him right now but the deal is he knew that in order to meet us down here so he could get us back to that he had to descend first making sense we need to understand how this thing works by connecting heaven and earth it works by things ascending and descending you see we like we like the ascending just something a while ago the Lord just put my heart he said the descending is as important as the ascending see you you you want to ascend to my glory but what about when I decide it's time for you to descend I'm gonna use a word here that's gonna just kind of rattle some of us but God I think of our spiritual pride like I said I'm gonna answer to the Lord I feel like he wants me to say but you know pride is a is a wicked thing somebody asked me one time what we're gonna do about the gay movement I said we don't have to do anything about it so why is that I said because of one word they use gay pride and I said the Bible gives you a sure formula on how for something to fall and be destroyed that's let it become proud or haughty and when that happens just get ready you wrote your own prescription I'm gonna tell you how much that God hates it he said I ate a proud look now I'm gonna go a little step further if if we think that we are going to reach the religious world coming from our spiritual pride like we are so much better than everybody else and we've got a lot more than it and I listen I believe our message I think we got the message I'm glad for one Lord one faith one baptism one God and all that stuff but if we try to present if we try to present that out of our pride and our arrogance they're not gonna receive it I think if we could learn how to humble ourselves and approach people in true humility it might be a little more to send

you will never ascend yourself under the mighty hand of God if you want to go up there humble yourself I call it the turning of the hand humble yourself under the mighty hand of God that he makes all chendu season but don't forget that same hand that did this can do this if there's one look I'm just gonna say what I need to say I really do I think that we need to back up and look at some things and here's the deal if we're not careful we're gonna miss something I had a guy I said this one time in a church and I mean boy one of the district officials was there and after service he come up son he was he I just don't believe that goes here's the deal see

it was spiritual pride that calls Israel to miss who the Messiah was he came into his own and his own received him not now listen they preached he's coming it was the most popular message in the synagogues that's free from Isaiah when Messiah comes the lame will walk the dumb will talk the blind will see the deaf office I mean boy they wanted to read that they like that they believed that there was a visitation but he came they are bickering as to how he's going to come the Pharisees said it's gonna come through the supernatural the Sadducees said it's gonna come through being analytical and and this approach and they're fussing with each other as to how this Messiah is supposed to come and the whole deal is why they're fussing among themselves well we need apostolic minister we need to give to the spirit we need the supernatural now we need to learn how to market no we need to learn how to approach it very logical well we got all this stuff going on it is very very possible that while we're fussing because we think we've got it figured out I'm gonna tell you right now there's nobody got this in time revival and the visitation of the spirit figured out we better learn how to do that right there with the wind where are you going what are you gonna do what's about to happen guide me better sit down and fasten your seat belts well those nice notes where I got that many let me let me say this and then

we're pushing five-fold ministry I told brother Lisa's brother Gleason and I think that we need to open but I said there's one thing that we're not talking about and that is in the DNA of five-fold ministry which I'm starting to change it just a little bit I don't think it's five I think it's just one kind of like a cluster of grapes it's only one cluster and you don't get to I think I'll take that one I think but here's do I said in the DNA of five-fold ministry is this before he ascended he descended and I said everybody wants five-fold ministry but we're not talking to them about the descending we're not talking about the price they're gonna pay we're not talking to them about getting their brains beat in we just see the glory and the glamour of it who I want that

I've been in meetings where people would get up and say I'm a apostle-profit you're what this is just kind of I'm a preacher I was called to preach stuff God wants to use me in something else I'll let him use me but this thing right now we're gonna have to get a handle on this thing and understand you know what so you want to be used of God and then you start praying God please I mean come up here at Winsor conference fall in the altar oh God please use me I want to I want to plummet into apostolic dimensions and then you go home and all hell breaks loose and you're like oh God devil's really doing a good job he must have more power than you have and in a lot of times we rebuke stuff you might want to be careful who you're rebuking all the devil's attacking me I'm buying you I rebuke you in Jesus name well it may be God's army and I mean all hell breaks loose you're like I don't know what's going on it's like God says I'm just answering your prayer request see if Moses didn't go up that mountain in the darkness he would have never known the value of what God was gonna give him on that mountaintop and if you never have to go through the darkness to get to the top of the Mount of Revelation you will have no value of what God's about to give you and if you don't understand the value of it and you don't understand what it costs you you treat it with disrespect it just doesn't mean that much to you and you could just Paul said because I talk people all time I just won't be like the Apostle Paul I won't be like the Apostle Paul stop no you don't you think you do but if you I was one time I met a couple guys downtown San Francisco was at a Thai restaurant and there's this one those moments the Lord gave me a little something I told the one I said hey do you remember when you prayed to be like the Apostle Paul he said yeah and I mean it was so impacting in his life that he told me where he was at and and what happened and all that stuff and I said well and I believed him I said but the problem is you ask for the revelations of the Apostle Paul and you ask for the ministry of the Apostle Paul but you didn't anticipate that God said because of the abundance of revelation I'm gonna have to give you a thorn in the flesh lest you become exalted above measure see God knows how to balance all that out in your life to where pride doesn't enter in and you say I'm trying to help you I really am I'm trying to help you because here's the thing listen if we don't get it out of our buildings into where it's supposed to go here's the stick of dynamite I'm not responsible for where the shrapnel hits

I've been on a journey I've been on this journey since cold it cold would I couldn't understand cold why cold it could have warned us God it is why cold it I don't think that God woke up and said oh we got a problem down there here's what's amazing to me is is that the first three or four plagues that God sent to Egypt the Hebrew people were not exempt because God said I need to get Egypt's attention and I need to get my people's attention now I could be misunderstood I really could and brother brother Myers God knows my heart I have no animus I don't I'm just I'm just gonna be very transparent honest with you okay so I asked God what is this deal about cold it why he said because I was trying to get you out of your buildings see we want to make something permanent for God to dwell in and even David went to God or David went to the Prophet said I want to build God a house and the Prophet said yeah I built him a house and then the Prophet went home and God said to the Prophet you might want to go back and telling when have I ever asked anybody to build me a house I have always moved from tent to tent meaning I'm not a God that is to be trapped into something that's permanent I'm a God of movement but see we want we Jesus we want God we want God to do this and make it permanent and all we want it let's just be honest I know this is what I wanted all I want to do just go back to pre-COVID days please take us back take us back and that's when God began to really deal with me about listen my people understand church culture but they don't understand kingdom culture you're so used to church and gathering together and coming together and they could but I need you to go out as the kingdom in advance the king was what I need you to do but you hopefully this but you want to build a house and put it in the top of the mountain but it's not up there that needs it it's down there that really needs it so why don't you take what you get I gonna like what I'm about to tell you you really not that Sunday I was really working on me you can judge it however you want to judge it he said if my people don't get it I never intended for COVID to allow them to go right back into their traditions and if they don't get it through that I'll send something else but I am going to get my church and my people where I need them to go we don't like that what's this really all about folks no let's just be honest what's this really all about

this is the second thing that God spoke to me and this is the one that I want to make sure I say the right spirit listen I don't I'm not attacking not after anybody this is not my motive I just want to just say what I feel like I need to say if we're not careful we're going to turn our churches into a performing arts center instead of an equipping training apostolic let's come rejoice let's train you let's equip you let's get you out there we need to get you in your neighborhoods we need to get you in your communities we need to get you in the universities we need to get I need you to take what you enjoy every Sunday and this beautiful structure and my glory I need you to take it down the mountain and minister to the world just remain standing miracles signs and wonders is not going to just come among us to entertain us we will see more miracles happen when we get I've been doing this a long time did you know it's harder for me to pray for somebody's been in the church for a while for a miracle including myself because they've seen the good they seem to bad they seem the ugly they've had people prophesied it didn't come in it's just all the stuff and all but when people are out there and they need something and they're hungry for something they don't care who the messenger is well I might as well just seal my deal to never get anybody back

I had a guy one time that I was trying to pass stream and he come to me and he said hey I'm gonna go brother Chatwell's this Sunday he said brother Cole was gonna be there and I'm gonna go there God's gonna heal me what to be honest with you it made me mad I said sister Ames would know if I'm mixing her name she would know who I'm talking about and it so he told me that and I said can I ask you a question he said yeah I said and listen I'm not speaking despairingly of brother Cole's ministry by no means but I said is brother Cole gonna heal you or is God gonna heal you he said well brother Cole or God's gonna heal me so God's gonna heal you yeah okay was God in the building tonight the large field see we have become a generation that likes to be entertained if we're not careful even preaching becomes a form of entertainment to us it's what I said a while ago it becomes a performing arts center now listen if that's what you want fine say that's what you want just don't call it the church but the deal is this I told him I said no I said brother I said here's the deal you want to go over there because you want a story you want to be able to tell people that brother Cole prayed for you now listen I was raised six six kids and if you put bread on the table if the lights went out you're probably gonna get a fork in your hand we didn't sit there at the table and say how did you how did you cook that mom mom how did you make the bread is it one I mean you know nowadays you need a PhD just to go buy bread back when I was a kid go buy loaf of bread so you went bought a loaf of bunny bread and so but I'm just telling you when you're hungry you don't care who begged it you don't care who delivered it you just need a miracle we're gonna have to get away from this that only us I'm trying to challenge you only a select few are permitted to do these things if I read my Bible correct these signs shall follow so take it from the top of the mountain let it follow you down to the bottom of the mountain and find some teenage boy down here that's deaf and dumb to possess of the devil and you exercise the authority that God wants you to exercise

I want you to listen to me and quit trying to drag them to church on Sunday on your job somebody says oh yeah you know we're going through it my wife and I and oh listen listen listen you need to come visit my church we'll get brother Myers to pray for you we'll get sister Myers to counsel and I'm not I'm for that that's not what I'm saying man if we can just get you to church likelihood of them coming to church at least in the Bay Area I tell you what can't happen you're sick doctor gave you yeah yeah you don't have to wait to Sunday to come to my church I don't go to church on Sunday just to see the glory and God keep it trapped there I'm bringing I'm bringing what I witness on the top of that mountain I'm bringing it right down here on my job and I'm about to lay hands on you and I'm about to pray the prayer of faith oh boy crazy I just thought I read that in the Bible and if we'd start doing that when we come back in on Sundays we wouldn't be so stinking finicky you have to do what God calls do when you come church on Sunday you're hungry you don't care if it's a plain old bologna sandwich see you're so used to filet mignons if somebody makes you a bologna sandwich or an egg sandwich or peanut butter and jelly sandwich I don't want that how hungry are you are we really hungry for this apostolic revival are we really hungry for apostolic dimensions if we are we'll pay the price we'll let God shift whatever he needs to shift we'll let God do whatever he needs to do and we'll make the trip

most of my life done at the hard way I got so used to the wind the earthquake and the fire on the mountain that when he just wanted to whisper in a still small voice I have the tendency to miss it I want to move away from God having to do all that stuff to get my attention to just been able to speak this is what I want you to do this is where I want you to go this is what I want you to be kind I feel the witness of the Holy Ghost right now there's there's a place that God's calling most of you right now if you're gonna get there you got to lose control that's just the bottom line you got to quit trying to control it quit trying to tell God how y'all to run his business if you really want to talk about ascending and descending

bring John the Baptist into the story see descending is as important as ascending what do I look like and what happens to me and what spirit do I start to manifest when I'm in a time in my life of a descending you go tell John that I said let me run my business the way I want to run it read it it's in false concepts about what it means to I must decrease and he must increase I don't want to get messed up but it doesn't matter what it looks like I'll say this Bob with God ministry whatever you want to call it to me is chess board and chess pieces there's not one chess piece that has the ability to move himself every movement on that board is controlled by the master player but I've learned I'm not a chess player I know enough about it to know this that not every move is forward there are some moves that are lateral and I have had people look at me and say I will never make a lateral move my response is I didn't know you have the right to choose see with us in our American concept of success everything is about moving forward but with God sometimes he'll move you later he can even move you backwards if he needs to there's one more move I can sacrifice you for a bigger move if I see I don't like that I wanted to be about my glory it's not about showcasing you it's about his glory it's about his honor it's about him

I'll stop I've gone I've gone too far I'm just gonna ask this anybody want to be used of God anybody really hungry and I mean when he when he starts doing it you're not gonna fuss with him you're not gonna but I'm telling you right now anybody will listen anybody willing to come off that up here and just come down in humility and in prayer come to the altar tonight and just say Lord here I am here I am I think there's another term I think there's another interpretation Paul said two or three let it be interpreted so we need interpretation and there's anybody let's receive it respond to his word now respond to his word
