When My God Becomes Your God

Philippians chapter 4 1st Corinthians chapter 1 second Corinthians chapter 1 and John chapter 10 and verse number 10 when my god becomes your God amen I don't want to be presumptuous and thinking that I'm the only one that has a god this is just a title something that you can refer back to on the tape amen when my god becomes your God I'm going to read verse number 19 I was going to read the whole chapter but I think I'll just stick with the verse 19 but my God shall supply all your and I'm uncovering this tonight singular need you do not have needs you have a single need if that need that you have that can only come from God can be supplied to you everything else that you think you have need of will take care of itself you may have in your mind 20 needs God says you have one need and you may have four or five of those needs supplied but not get the rest of them supplied but if you get that one need that God wants to supply you with all 20 of your so-called needs will take care of themselves what you think you have need of is not your need let that sink in I'm under the anointing I don't have to be shouting and screaming to be anointed I'm gonna say that again you have built up these needs in your life and God is saying you have a need and if you can get the need that I can supply you all of your so-called needs that you think you have need of will automatically be supplied okay you don't believe it but I'm gonna preach it anyway my god shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus you may be seated amen 1st 2nd Corinthians chapter 1 and verse number 20 the promises of God are yay an amen in him by Christ Jesus the promises of God are never yes and no are maybe all of the promises of God are yes yes and yes and never no God does not make promises to his people or to his church and then make you beg to fulfill those promises if God says I have promised Birmingham and outpouring of the Holy Ghost God has a revival for Birmingham Alabama you don't have to be intellectual you don't have to be a master degree you don't have to have money you all you got to have as a promise and God will bring that promise to pass praise God the bestit Amen John 10 and verse number 10 the thief cometh not but for to steal and to kill and to destroy I am that you might have life and that they might have it more abundantly amen there are some things that you cannot do for yourself somehow life puts

us in situations that we can get out of but with God he can get us out of them maybe you're in it because of your own ignorance maybe you are in it because of some sin maybe you're in situations because of your own choosing and and and and you just got blindly led into something because you are in that situation by your fault or by someone else's fault or by nobody's fault it is here relevant to God if you are a child of God all right I'm staying some more things some of you don't believe praise God you got yourself in it you get out of it that's so easy for us to say that are not in that situation but we become mad as wet hands when we get in that situation and somebody else tells us to get out the truth of the matter is we're trying to trust in our own self and not in our creator or maker or miracle worker either we got to let God be our miracle or we might as well be humanist we might as well be secularists our God can do all things and I can do you can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth us praise God hallelujah amen so I just this morning I talked about this and I talked about five areas that that God allows us to get in in which we must have him the first one was when we become immobile when when we get in a place where we cannot move to the left we cannot move to the right we cannot go up we cannot go down we cannot go backwards or forwards we get in that situation where we're flattered by back so to speak can I have an amen because the world says something is impossible does not make it impossible Oh hallelujah gonna help me preach or what I said big because the world says you are an impossible situation does not make that situation impossible praise God the second area that I talked about was the fact that our God is the healer praise God our God can heal all manner of sickness and disease he has already stated in his word in Tudor places by His stripes we are healed and by His stripes ye were healed he purchased my healing by His stripes at Calvary praise God healing isn't a covenant relationship with Almighty God can I have what Amen somebody I can be healed praise God I see and yesterday I can be healed today I did wrong yesterday I can be healed today by the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ if he can forgive me of my past sins he can forgive me of my present sins if he can forgive me of my present sins and he can forgive me of my future sins I refuse to live condemned because of my humanity praise God when I've got a God that loves me so much that if he got me out of the pit he's not gonna shove me back down in the pit praise God EEMA and I refuse to let the devil convince me that because I have been afflicted so long that I'm always gonna be afflicted hallelujah let me say that again I refuse to believe that because I have been afflicted for so long that I'm always gonna be afflicted praise God for a number of years when I was a small child I had very violent convulsions and I would just simply pass out in the floor and and and and after a while I would come back to and and they run all kind of tests and and they I had epilepsy and I went through brain scans and brain waves they didn't find anything i exceeded it won't find anything on y'all either and and the fortunate thing about it was because the medication I took because they thought I had epilepsy even though it did not show up I took some medication it kept me out of Vietnam it kept me from dying in Vietnam and God spared me and I praise God for

that amen and as an adult I still had times when when I would pass out now I never will forget one night I woke up about two o'clock in the morning and I passed out and in the bathroom and and my wife helped me back to the bed and about three o'clock I got sick again I got up to go to the bathroom and I passed out the second time and and she helped me back in bed and about 3:30 or 4 o'clock I got back up sick again and I passed out the third time and somewhere about five o'clock I passed out the fourth time and this time I was too weak to get back in bed and my wife was not big enough to pick me up and so she just I just laid in the floor and she put a blanket over me on the floor and brought me a pillow because I couldn't move and I wouldn't let her call an ambulance I wouldn't let her call the doctor and about six o'clock I passed out the fifth time and and this time she said I've got to call an ambulance and I said no call by the for site and so for the 4sight came and and they got me in a car and they rushed me to Wesley Medical Center and just a matter of few minutes time I was in an emergency room and I passed out the sixth time as I was trying to give my name my social security number my driver's license number my insurance number of my life history they'll let you die getting your life history and and they rushed me into the trauma unit and in a matter a few minutes they had me wired up and and by the 4sight was standing there watching everything and he looked at the screen and the screen flatlined now when you flatline that means you're dead and and brother 4sight walked over to the doctor that was kneeling beside the gurney trying to put a needle in my arm and he said a ma'am did y'all unplug the machine and she looked up the machine and it had flatline and she panicked and she took both hands and wham hit my chest and I bounced up off that thing and when I came to I had chest pains and you cannot imagine how much I prayed and said god I don't understand why I've had to live with this thing for so long it's just I just don't believe it's your will that I'd be sick like this I said I I don't want to lose faith and I believe you can heal and I've been prayed for many times to be healed of this affliction and it just seemed like I could never be healed and I laid there in that hospital for four days and not able to move because they thought I had a massive heart attack and that the doctor came in said we're gonna start doing some tests on you and and they run all kind of tests the whole time I was in that that room I prayed Lord if you love me you ever prayed Lord if you love me well there's no real somebody he does love me and on Sunday morning my wife left and went to the church and then I said Lord if you love me let somebody call me that's never call me before and well I didn't realize I don't have a phone in the intensive care and about 11:30 that morning a nurse came in and she had a telephone in her hand and she said I'm only talking to phone for just two or three minutes she said there's some prophet he says on a telephone and he says he demands to speak with you he has a word for you and I picked up the phone and I said hello brother Cornwell I said yes sir brother Barnes I said brother Barnes he had never I I didn't even know him personally and he had called me he said I was in to my prayer room he said I called your wife and invited home and and I call it Church they said she was in the hospital said I want to call my husband said I was in my prayer room pray and I said I saw an angel come into your room and said you was wired up and plugged up and said said I saw John hand touch your chest and go all way through you about the time I felt that warm glow hit my chest and it went all the way through me praise God he said well I said I didn't have anything else to say just what doe God's everything's gonna be alright and he hung up and I still didn't have a conversation with it he'd done all the talking and it's amazing that that the doctor came in and on Monday said we're gonna run these tests and we're gonna find out we got to find out what's wrong with you and so I went through all of the tests and and and they've done such a thorough job and and finally the doctor came in he said we have found out what's wrong with you he said you help they sold vagal syndrome he said your vagus nerve that runs the link to your body becomes irritated and your blood pressure drops to zero and he said it's not dangerous at all but he said he said it just kind of irritates you when he gets irritated because your blood pressure drops to zero you're faint and then your blood pressure comes back he said he said I know I got the cure for you and I said okay I said what is it he said I want you to start eating some

salt he's I've never told anybody salt before but I want you to eat some salt praise God and so when I started eating salt and it's been almost nine or ten years and I've never had another episode with that in my life I just refused to believe that I was going to have that the rest of my life let me test it you cannot let Satan convince you that the situation you're in is going to be fatal and that the situation you're in that you've got to live with the rest of your life my God shall supply your need according to his riches in glory hallelujah somebody said amen now the third area that I want to talk about is something that that is going to get kind of sticky and you might want to sit down because I don't want you standing just not saying a thing for a while and that is the area of finance finance is a terrible subject to talk about in the house of God and it doesn't matter that that more is written in the Bible about money this is written about salvation but when the church and the preacher sent something about money Oh Italy something rises up and you say well I saw the preachers out after he's out he's always after money I am NOT out after money but it does take money to keep me out can I have an amen you might as well smile praise God I don't know who does and does not pay tithe and I don't know who does and it's not a giver so if you're not a giver you better not hit a mint because if I just suspect you're not a type here I'm gonna come down and preach right at you praise God does the Bible say my God shall supply well I got one two three four five six seven eight nine ten twelve people praise God let me ask it again does the Bible say my God shall supply all right be seated let me try that again does the Bible say my God shall supply now don't look at me and say well the church has all it has need of this church does not have all it has need of God wants to bless the church in Birmingham Alabama how is God going to bless the church in Birmingham without blessing you it's impossible for the church to be blessed until you get blessed praise God and God wants to bless this people with finance praise God sit down for 30 seconds praise I'm gonna preach you can just sit there if you want I'm gonna preach and I Amen God sent me here to preach this and I'm gonna preach it amen you have you have a high school diploma and you work on a good job and and you make 17 18 19 20 dollars an hour all hunky-dory praise God I'm doing all right you're not doing all right Amen if $20 hour is all you have need up and you got a hundred and thirty dollar car payment and a $240 house payment and a $50 grocery bill then you might be saying I'm doing all right but I understand that there's four acres next door this church needs and there's a house right back here that this church needs and don't look at don't you dare look at me and say we can't afford it because God can't afford it I said don't look at me and say that I can't afford it it's not a matter what you can afford what can God afford if somebody turned Erica stone can I I feel like she'll all goose pimples are jumping off of goose pimples here praise God I'm gonna say it again don't you dare look at that pastor we can't afford this that we can't afford that we can't afford this and we can't afford that I didn't say what you can afford what can God afford what he said my God shall supply all of your need according to his riches and glory your need is not finance your need is to believe God that he will supply the finance sit down now God gave this message to me last week just this past week and and so I knew I was coming here and I didn't want to preach it for the first time here and so I started practicing on my church and so last Wednesday night we have a daughter work where we have a church at Anthony that we brought into existence we have a pastor in his wife down there and they have been struggling for quite some time and they come from Arkansas not that that's a put-down but that's where

Clinton come from and if you know anything about Arkansas the toothbrush was named after Arkansas because if they'd had discovered the toothbrush in Alabama it would call it been called a toothbrush you can laugh it's alright if you laugh I don't know who's from Arkansas who's not from Arkansas but they were raised in poverty and that came up in a poverty filled Church and and and a poverty filled family and consequently they were not taught that God can supply finances if God can fill you with the Holy Ghost he can supply your finance now won't you get mad at me so let me say this some of y'all need to start paying some income tax I'm tired of building bridges and roads and sending man to the moon all by myself and some of y'all need to make enough money so you can pay some income tax and I don't have to pay income tax and I got seven dependents well let me tell you something honey you still need to pay you're making enough money so you have to pay income tax I want you to take all the deductions you God but it wouldn't hurt some of y'all to realize that you can only you can only earn by your own ability X number of dollars but I don't want what I can earn I want what God can supply I want the blessings of God on my life I walk the blessings of God on my church I walk the blessings of God upon his people now some of you that it won't don't want a raise on your job you're brain dead and because everybody in this room needs a raise on your job if your own Social Security you need a raise in your Social Security if you own retirement you need a raise on your retirement if you work a job you need the blessings of God to come to your family so anyway they change their service from Wednesday night to Thursday night so they could come to which Tom wins night hear me preach and so she was in the service when her husband was not there but she was in the service Wednesday night with her children and sister ter Hurst has some real bad teeth in the front of her mouth and for a number of weeks I wanted to ask her if I could help her with some dental appointments and I wanted to somehow without embarrassing her tell her that if you'll go the dentist I'll pay to have those front teeth fixed because they were very very unsightly and and it's just what else let me start over her teeth are very unsightly they had huge cavities in the front part of her mouth it was embarrassing to her and and and she was she would not open her mouth and she would not smile and because those Kate decayed teeth would show and so I was preaching Wednesday night and I said my god shall supply and I got off on this little area of finance we only want what we deserve we only want what we can earn hallelujah but God wants to give you more than what you can earn he wants to be a blessing through you if God's people are the poorest people in the world if God's people are always barely struggling to get by if God's people are always down the dump because they can't pay the bill what kind of witness are we to a world that needs God God gets no glory out of somebody sitting on our Pentecostal fuse that's so depressed you don't know which way to turn God gets no glory out of somebody that sits on our pews that's in poverty and Kate pays bills it's always filing bankruptcy and always not being able to pay the people healed God doesn't get glory out of that but he does get glory I don't you say Lord I know what I deserve but I gotta have more than what I deserve I've got to have the blessings of God on my life hallelujah repent I feel the Spirit of the anointing hear praise God God wants to

supply a financial miracle in the state of Alabama praise God when I look at the badness building $20,000,000 buildings and I look at the Methodists they're building 30 million-dollar buildings and I look at the Pentecostals and we're always saying we can't afford it something is wrong praise God and so I was talking about that God we don't want what we deserve we want the blessings of God and so she heard it and so she went back and she told her husband what I'd preached and she started having immense pain in the upper part of her mouth because of the cavities and and finally she had taken Tylenol and Advil and everything else she could take and the pain was so persistent and she said honey I know we can't afford to go the dentist but I got to go the dentist anyway and so she went to the dentist and she got in the chair and the dinner the dentist said we you've got to have two or three or four maybe four root canals and you got to have caps put on them or we can pull them all in and put in a partial and and she said I can't afford a partial and and I can't afford the caps and I can't afford the root canals I'm sorry she said but I'm hurting so bad she said can you just pull the teeth that's hurt and I'm willing to go through the embarrassment of being snaggletooth and and because I that's all I can afford and she said he said well are you waiting for you in church to come in and she said I don't have any insurance and and and she he said I'll be right back and tears started coming down her face and she said I remembered the sermon that my God shall supply all of your need according to his riches in glory and she said I felt a little bit embarrassed that I couldn't believe what she was preaching and and said the dentist came back in and said I'm gonna Danya and said this is your lucky day lady praise God and he done all the root canals and he put all the caps on her teeth and done over three thousand dollars worth of work for her and did not charge her except for extracting of one tooth praise God and then she was at church this past Wednesday night and and somebody stood up and said I want to pay that $85 for pool that one tooth that didn't get filled God supplied her need and if it tastes it wasn't the fact that God supplied it and all that it was what it done to her attitude to realize that God will do more for us than what we give him credit for well hallelujah we're talking about heaven a five hundred soul revival we're talking about a thousand soul revival what are we going to have a bigger parking lot and we're gonna have a bigger sanctuary if we have a bigger sex where we're gonna have more property God won't stuff to help that four acres in that home and all the way down to Main Street I'm telling you my God shall supply your need according to his riches in glory be seated for five seconds Matthew chapter 17 verse 22 amen and while they abode in Galilee jesus said of him the Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men and they shall kill him and the third day he shall be raised again and they were exceeding sorry and when they would come to Capernaum they that received tribute money came to Peter said DUT not your master pay his income tax now there's nothing lower than an income tax collector except the devil that's our attitude amen I would not mind having to pay a million dollars a year income tax it would not bother me if I had to pay a hundred thousand dollars a year and tidy I don't want to see how little I can give I want to see how much God can heal through me your master doesn't pay income tax what's wrong with y'all Amen so what did Jesus do what what's this what's this in the next verse verse number 25 he said yes and when he was

come to the house Jesus prevented him saying what think is thou simon of whom to the kings of the earth take custom or tribute of their own children or strangers Peter said up strangers she sent him then are you the children free notwithstanding lest we should offend them Jesus did not want to be an offence because he wanted to reach people come on now preaching to you hallelujah in every church in every place the devil's gonna help people sitting on our pews that doesn't want the church to prosper even there's always going to be people on the Pew that that won't believe God and they're going to be jealous of people that do believe God and you cannot satisfy those kind of people so you have to ignore them and say talk all you want to but as far as me and my family we're gonna believe God oh I think I'm gonna preach here be cita I feel a spirit here and I'm gonna plow here praise God I'll be back to this income tax but it's not promised you amen when I went to Wichita God promised me a revival in the city of Wichita I was having tremendous revival in Lake Charles Louisiana and out of the clear blue and in a matter of 10 days God changed all that ruffle my nest and first thing you know I had resigned and I was out of the church and a horrible part about it was that wasn't a problem in the church I found myself outside within three days I'd been called to the city of Wichita and won't know if I'd try out and so I went to tryout and I found a church that had gone through three splits within six months more than 75% of the people were gone I found a church in debt I found a church it was depressed I found a church that the good people had all left and most of the dregs was left behind and I preached and and they said we would vote on you but we don't know your wife so I had to go home and get my wife and bring my wife back they liked to my wife so they voted me in they vote in a 27 year old preacher that was more fluff than anything else because I could scream and shout real loud I didn't have to have no substance and and and they was as ignorant as I was but the difference between bill and myself was I was coming with a promise from God God told my wife when she was seven years old that he was going to bless her and give her an outpouring of the Holy Ghost and every man of God it came by picked out my wife and would prophesy the same thing over sister corn well and and God promised me three years before that I was going to go to a city of 300,000 and he was going to pour out the Holy Ghost and I was gonna find my life's work and so like ignoramus I I let 20 people vote me in praise God and so I took the Church of just a little over 20 people maybe 25 at the most and and and I got up the first night and I said praise God this church is gonna run a thousand people hallelujah well they got mad at me because they didn't want to run a thousand people and they didn't want God to bless them because they bled God blessed them wouldn't have no reason to bellyache anymore oh I'm preaching to somebody I can feel you snacking me right now but I'm gonna turn that smack around on your praise God you better get you better get to place where you can receive the blessings of God because God's gonna bless this congregation and if you don't get blessed with this congregation you're gonna find yourself on the outside wonder what happened if you don't want to be blessed you better be blessed for your children's sake and you better get blessed for your grandchildren sake praise God and so I started teaching Bible studies and God started adding to the church and the more God added the church the matter the people that was there God praise God I will never forget we'll never forget I bought a Pontiac car and I started talking the car dealer and trying to get him in Bible study and it took me two years I got him in Bible study and I started teaching him a Bible study what I didn't realize that the Pontiac mini was gonna bring in the Chevrolet dealer and the Chevrolet

dealer was gonna bring in the Buick dealer and the Buick v8 was gonna bring in the Mercedes dealer they were gonna bring in the Saab dealer and the Jaguar dealer and the Lexus dealer I didn't realize they're gonna bring in lawyers and doctors and the first thing you'd always teach them 37 people a Bible study and so one day I was teaching a Bible study at Anthony 55 miles away down the middle of a wheat field little small town 3,000 people 55 miles from Wichita and I had a I had an old Toyota with a hundred and seventy thousand miles on it and we were still trucking down the road coming back from Anthony one night about midnight and there's nothing between Wichita and Anthony except a little town called Sioux Peaceville that has a little grocery store and they roll up the sidewalk which they don't even have a sidewalk at six o'clock evening and smoke come boiling out of the hood I pulled it down the ditch got out open the hood and smoke just kept balling out and so I'm not a black suit in the neck town sister home we've got a church meeting dress on and our cars broke down it's 55 miles from Wichita to Anthony halfway between and and there's no traffic on the highway because it's an isolated little place it's just it's almost out but you can't get there from here hallelujah she said what are we gonna do I said we're gonna hitchhike she said they no cars and so we saw some cars coming down they was going towards Wichita I said come on come on I said sticky leg out razor dress a little bit of hallelujah whoo she got mad at me hallelujah I was just trying to make light of your kind of make fun praise God and we tried to hit tight I'm senator black Sudan praise God and she's a church go to meet and dress on and people went by us like they thought we was a BTK murderer she said they wouldn't stop they wouldn't stop smoke boiling out of my car and and finally coming from the opposite direction coming from Wichita going back to Anthony was this little guy in this little you go he was doing about a hundred miles an hour he had two rubber band let they wound up which downside the road we're watching oh I see if taillights come on it takes him 14 country miles before you bring that thing to a halt he Thunder you turn the road he comes back he said where y'all going I said we ain't going nowhere we're broke down well he sank see that but he said where y'all want to go ice I need to get back to Wichita he said well get in I said you're not going the same direction we're going ha he says a teenager ain't going no direction kid about 17 years old he's I'll take y'all back to Wichita and let me taste I would take nothing for that ride because I prayed my wife threw on the backseat of a you go do a 90 miles an hour so the next morning the next morning I walked over to the church and we haven't Sunday school and and the Chevrolet dealer was at church that morning and he was the only one that recognized that my car was not at my house or in my pastors parking spot he said Reverend where's your car at I blushed I said I burned it up last night he said you burnt your car I said I was coming back from Bible study down to Anthony and I said it just something happened and smoke ball out of it and I pulling down the ditch and he said well how'd you get home I said we hitchhike he said Mike you and your wife hitchhike from from Anthony I said yes sir all he said that's embarrassing didn't I said yes sir he reached in his pocket and he gave me a set of keys to a brand spankin new Caprice Classic with power windows air conditioned Oh hallelujah power seats he said I said what's the key for he said I'm gonna give you my car I said how you gonna get home he said my God if the preacher can hitchhike I ain't hitchhike home so he grabbed his wife by the head they had that thought and they caught a ride home and I'm sitting there with a brand new it had about 75 or 80 miles on it I walked out sat down in that plush velour interior turn the key it cranked right away hallelujah the battery was fully charged

I looked at that gas needle and it was to the right of half hallelujah I didn't think a car could run that's that needle was close to empty Oh Fred we backed out a parking lot put that sucker and drive and I had the Lincoln lien hallelujah so three days later I got my car fixed and my wife took me out to Chevrolet place and I went in and I said I brought your car back he said you got five thousand miles of it already I said no I only got about 150 miles on it all he said he said you keep that car I'll let you know what I want it back I said huh he said keep it he said I provide a car for the football coach at Wichita State the basketball coach at Kansas University the car to the quit ball coach at Kansas State he said my preacher is gonna drive a nice car hang on it's gonna get good okay and so I doing that Lincoln lien Oh hallelujah I started combing my hair a little bit better shining my shoes a little bit slicker and so he came jersey's how many miles you got on that car I said about 5,000 all he said my god bring that car back yes sir and so I said take me back up to the dealership so she followed me and that 170,000 miles Toyota and I drove the Chevrolet and I took his keen I said I want you bringing keys back said thank you he said I can't let you put couldn't let you put more than 5,000 miles on us and that's all right I said I won't tell how much I appreciate it you let me have that car he said where you going I said my wife's waiting for me out there she's what what's your wife doing out there she said he said go get her that's okay so I want to get my wife came in his office he said he said like what what you try the Toyota far she said well I had to pick him up he said oh he said my god he said I got a brand new car for ya gave me another brand new Caprice Classic one time he gave me a brand spankin new Corvette I said let's go to Junction City - brother Westboro Church but West Berkshire sent black folks and so we went up to the Junction City and I pulled in and that brand new Apple candy apple red Corvette column not a Shaban a Corvette I pulled up on a parking lot and the Deacons and the elders and the ushers they all came I said my lord but are you driving I called that he said that's the blessings of God if I see him right but one day some people went to the dealership to see him and the brothers went in and said brother Smith we want to talk to you oh he said come on in I was teaching my Bible studying and he hadn't got the Holy Ghost yet and hadn't got well I think he had been baptized but hadn't got the Holy Ghost yet and he said what can I do for y'all they said well he said we're here to talk about you given our preacher a car he said yeah they said we don't like it he got up he's he's 25% of patchy Indiana and he's a real short guy about 5 foot 5 and when he drinks that firewater he took a swing at Eadie too tall Jones from the Dallas Cowboys one night with the firewater in him now eat ham Oh firewater in him he stood up he said what did you say he said we're upset because you're giving our pastor a new car have you ever thank God somebody didn't have the Holy Ghost

then deacons got a royal cousin I'm telling you they got the cussing of their lifetime he ran them out of that out of that office followed him down the stairways cussing them a blue streak and updated they hightailed it out of there not everybody wants the church to be blessed not everybody is pleased that electric bill is paid up and the note is paid and that God is blessing not everybody's pleased when you give the missionary $1,000 so are you guilty thousand dollars that year Commission praise God but it did something as long as you think you're doing it you're always complaining but we don't want what we can do we want what God can supply through us hallelujah you can struggle with your business you're in and you're out and that's all you'll do a struggle but if you give it to God and say Lord I walk the blessings of the Holy Ghost on my business God will bless your business hallelujah can I share with you what happened to those men that went in that day and was going to curse the blessings of God on a pastor and on the congregation their back slid most of them have already filed bankruptcy and they lost homes and families and their families are backslidden God wants to bless this church I'm God wants to bless this church God wants to bless you praise God we have a young man that works at Cessna and he works in the parts department at Cessna and he made about $12 an hour and he had a fairly large family and and and he was barely getting by and we prayed I said God wants to bless you and I preach the blessings of God on our young families I preach the blessings of God on our businessmen I'm gonna tell you something everywhere I go you'll never find me cursing you are putting a curse on you I want God to bless you I want God to increase your finances I want God to bless your children praise God it wouldn't hurt me for God to bless every man and woman in this house hallelujah my god shall supply your need not according to your ability but according to his riches in glory and so he came to me one day and he said I believe the Lord has given me an idea and I said okay I've laid hands on him I prayed for him and he said when I do this Cessna is gonna fire me I said let him fire you if you feel that Oh God obey God do what God wants you to do one of the things that I appreciate about it was he took wise counsel from his pastor your pastor is not against you your pastor is on your side you better hear me your pastor is on your side the church is not against you the churches on your side that's been about ten years ago he used to pay about forty eight dollars a week tithe and that was a lot of time for him to pay made about four hundred eighty dollars a week and he'd always pay his time every every week he paid his tithe just like clockwork praise God you can't find a single space where he's ever missed paying his tie faithful to God faithful to God faithful to God can I share with you the Lords of your church grows up the more you need to pay your time you don't need to pay your time because the church has a need you pay your tithe because God is blessing you you don't pay a given offering because the church has a need because that's all you'll get is the supply of that need but when you give because you have a need to give God begins to bless you can I tell you that this past year he paid $55,000 just in tithing you know why because every time he come up against

something he would come to church to say pastor I need you to pray with me and we would pray the blessings of God hold his business praise God let me tell you something God wants to bless you I don't know how God's gonna do it but somehow God's already got it figured out how he's gonna bless you let me tell you the blessings of God it's in this church right now I feel the angel a blessing upon this congregation you say preacher you don't understand how much I'm struggling I do know how much you're struggling that's the reason I'm preaching what I'm preaching huh as long as you struggle and you have the spirit of struggle that's all you're gonna do but you gotta raise your hands and take hard I'm tired of struggling I walk the blessings of God does the scripture say my God shall supply all of your need according to his riches in glory one bore I'll get back to the income tax a man just hold on not sure will de vida call me one day y'all gonna be seated peace either you gonna stand up again but just bc for a moment one day you called me said pastor I gotta meet with you I said meet me at Jeannie's Jeannie's is a little holder wall Cafe storefront Cafe so we met there he's I'm in trouble he said I need money bad and I need money bad right now I said you were you gonna get it he's out unbarred everything I can borrow he said I I'm desperate I said all right I said what'd be the best way for you to get money he got an 11 he said well he said a good hailstorm wouldn't hurt me spank you some little dings on my car and click all the insurance well I couldn't think of how God could bless it I said well spray we joined him that cafe right in the middle front of God and everybody I said Lord this man needs a hailstorm Wichita was so depressed aircraft had gone south and we was in a huge layoff mode and I said God we got our city needs money and this man needs money but he needs it right now and I said God we need a good hailstorm in Jesus name he said Reverend he said do you know what you just asked for said yeah storm he said the sun shining outside I said it's gonna hey y'all praise God you gonna get your money so that morning about four o'clock I heard something hitting my roof I jumped up I said my god it's hailing now I wasn't thinking about him but my roof was leaking too and I got one of them wood shingle roofs and and then cost $3,000 a roof he cost 12,000 change that roof and so six o'clock that morning another storm moved through we got a second hail storm I thought that's double blessing peaks I'll give you above abundantly exceedingly I got the above I got the abundantly and at 10 o'clock that morning they call me said go outside run outside and I run outside and look to the northwest and the emerald cloud was moving towards us he was unbelievable and I looked to the southeast and it was a tornadic cloud moving in from the South East which tornadoes move from the southwest to the Northeast I thought this is really strange this emerald cloud is moving from the Northwest towards us and this tornadic cloud is moving from the southeast the siren the tornado sirens had already gone off and understanding of thinking what in the world is going on and that that that hailstorm that emerald green cloud moved in and sucked in that Tornetta cloud like it didn't even exist and I knew he's in trouble and it's every siren in town civil defense sirens went off and the hailstorm started falling and the winds started blowing and we got baseball sized hail the roof of our church leak like a sieve and that's not bad but it

costs two hundred and ninety eight thousand dollars to replace the roof on our church when I prayed for him I said God send him a hailstorm and God sent three of them and the third one at ten o'clock that morning when the hail started falling it stacked up three foot deep on our roof we got men on the roof shoveling ice off of it to keep our whole building from collapsing and and we had 37 cars on our parking lot all of was insured except one boys teenager's car was not insured it destroyed 36 cars and didn't put a dent in the uninsured car is that God or what before the hailstorm stopped my phone was ringing brother Smith said you did it my god you did it you did it you did it you did it he collected millions of dollars of insurance the next day I got a phone call from the Pontiac dealer his dealership was the only dealership in town that was affected 20,000 homes were destroyed 37,000 automobiles were destroyed they put so much insurance money in Wichita that it brought us out of the recession and we just all started booming thank God for State Farm you're in good hands with Allstate hallelujah the Pontiac dealer call me he said he's a reverend said come see us so I went and talked to them to the Buick dealer and the Pontiac dealer and the other dealer Mercedes they said so we won't know how come you pray down start for him and we didn't get nothing I said what do you want a tornado he said we need something I said let's pray for a tornado so help me God I'm telling you the honest God's truth one week later driving up the turnpike I saw the storm cat coming out of Southwest I saw the tornado dropped down it stopped they've got to kill all the US 54 which splits Wichita into north or east west the tornado took a right turn on Kellogg the paper the next day said the most unusual storm that ever seen and and draw the map of how it went it got almost to the Pontiac dealer and the tail of that tornado dropped down done 25 million dollars what the damage got past the Pontiac place pick back up made a left turn and contained it on its way the Pontiac dealer called me oh they were said passionately said I don't want you you have power with God I was asked to speak at the Automobile Dealers Association the publish and editor of knight-ridder publications was there as a speaker and and the anchor the the anchor News anchor woman from KS and three television was there and and I would they thought I was the peon so they had me speak first and I got to speak praise God and they introduced me as the man that could bring the hill storms and the tornadoes and when I got through read Ashe and Andros Stanley spoke and and after the meeting was over read ash and roast and they got me and they drug me up to the Automobile Dealers Association president and they looked at me said don't you ever put us behind this man again God can supply an unusual and spectacular means can I have an amen I feel the Holy Ghost amen can I just tell you that because of that tornado and because that hailstorm I ended up reaching I baptized 75 adults out of the Chevrolet dealers home in a Bible study praise God when God can

bless his people people will always get sane you're not listening to me if God will bless you people going to get saved around you it's the will of God for him to bless the church so that people can be saved okay Oh Lord okay I'm finished I'm finished let's all stay in this all staying hallelujah jesus said unto them no idea they'd hold the health of it Peter said of strangers G sending them then are the children free notwithstanding verse 27 lest we should offend them go to the sea cast in a hook he didn't say put a minnow on it he didn't say put a worm on it he didn't say put a spinnerbait on it he said throw in a hook and they caught a fish on a hook without a bait and he said when you get the when you get the the the fish that take the first fish to come up and when I open his mouth you shall find a piece of money that take and give to them for me and thee God has fish a blessings you can throw out an empty hook and God a blessing one of the things that Alabama is known for is your spirit of poverty Alabama is known all across this nation as one of the poorest states in the Union and I don't think we have to wear that brand I don't want just Birmingham blessed I want my gunnery blessed I want Mobile blessed I want Hunts feel blessed I want half is blessed our church is all across Alabama need the blessings of Almighty God you need the blessings of God now I'm not gonna finish the sermon I can see that right now but there's a fourth thing that you cannot do for yourself in mark chapter five and verse one and they came over to the other side of the sea in the country of the gadarenes and when he was come out of the ship I mean I met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit who had his dwelling among the tombs no man could bind him no not with chains because he had often been bound with fetters and chains and the chains had been plucked asunder by him and the fetters broken in pieces neither could any man tame him there's some things you cannot do for yourself you cannot deliver yourself I'd like for us to bow our heads and close our eyes do you have unusual hang-ups are you bound by attitudes and spirits can I share with you that only God can deliver you when nobody else can do for you my God shall supply your need according to his riches and glory amen if you think that men can convert their own selves you have mystery at this society it is filled with demonic activity the schools have been so filled with Satan nearly every teenager that comes into your church has to be delivered they are eat up with unclean spirits of all sorts with sexual perversion with spirits of divorce the spirits of homosexuality that's prevalent in our

society with all kinds of demonic activity ranging from the cult down they look normal and they act normal but when they enter our chah's the holy spirit reveals their bondage they're blind by tradition the churches have preached against churches that have rules in them so much that kids even raised in churches have no rules and if they say if the church can't have any rules we can have no rules at home if the home can't have any rules we don't have to have any rules at school and the spirit of anarchy is gradually taking hold of our young people we need the spirit of deliverance that only God can supply let's raise our hands and ask God for the spirit of deliverance father in the name of Jesus hallelujah i adjure thee by God the demoniac see
