I don't like to preach a lot about the devil, but every once in a while, you got to recognize we do have a devil. And we got to recognize when he's coming against us so we can smack him down. Amen. Lord, help me to do a good job delivering your word to your people, the space between my lips and their ears. Let your word, Father, become applicable to the body collectively and to the individual where they are. I pray, Father, in your name that at the conclusion of this meeting that when we leave this house, lives will be changed, hearts will be healed, families and relationships restored. That text that we read that we read this evening is right after Jesus has started his earthly ministry. For the first 30 years of his life on earth, there are no recorded min miracles or supernatural happenings. I'd like to tell you why I believe there were no recorded miracles for the first 30 years of Jesus' life because none happened. Had they happened, one of the brothers would have recorded that. So for the first 30 years, God in the flesh is with the people, but he's performing nor miracles. He has relationship with the people, but there's nothing supernatural happening. However, from the time of 30 to 33, in 3 years, there will be more miracles performed by Jesus Christ than could be recorded in the books, all books put together. So the question we must ask is, what changed? Perhaps it's not a what, it's more linked to a who. John the Baptist. After John the Baptist said, "Behold the lamb of God." 30 verses later, Jesus Christ is turning water into wine. And there will be more miracles performed than all of 30 years. Just because there was a preacher that said, "Behold the lamb of God." And it exploded. Jesus had relationship with the people. The people talked to Jesus. The people knew Jesus. but until Jesus was preached, he didn't heal anybody and nobody was delivered. there's just something supernatural that happens when Jesus is preached. OH, I KNOW YOU GOT a relationship with Jesus Christ. You pray pray to him over your cheerios. But let ME TELL YOU, IF YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE A SUPERNATURAL HAPPENING, YOU'VE GOT TO HAVE THE PREACHED WORD OF GOD. YOU CAN'T HAVE FAITH WITHOUT PREACHING.

PREACHING COMES BY HEARING. HOW DO THEY HEAR? THEY'VE GOT TO HAVE A PREACHER. YOU'VE GOT TO HAVE A PREACHER. AND THIS PENTECOST WAS LAUNCHED IN A PRAYER ROOM WITH FIRE AND THEN PERPETUATED BY APOSTOLIC PREACHING. PREACHING IS WHAT BRINGS PENTECOST. YOU GOT TO PRAY, BUT THEN YOU'VE GOT TO HAVE A PREACHER OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. Titus would say that God manifested his word through preaching. You can read it, you can understand it, but preaching that transformed the word, preaching will transform those words into wonder. Preaching will take the letters and turn them into life. preaching will turn a message into the miraculous. This is what Pentecost is. PENTECOST BEGINS WITH FIRE. THEN IT STARTS WITH A MAN IN IN ACTS CHAPTER 2:14. THE BIBLE SAYS HE STOOD UP. I'VE SAID IT BEFORE, BUT I'M SO THANKFUL THEN HE SAYS HE LIFTED UP HIS VOICE. HE HAD HIS VOICE LIFTED AND HE WAS SCREAMING AND HE WAS SAYING, "REPENT AND BE BAPTIZED EVERY ONE OF YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST FOR THE REMISSION OF YOUR SINS AND YE It wasn't acted out by an actor. It wasn't pontificated by a pope. Pentecost wasn't prescribed by a doctor. It wasn't sung by a singer. Wasn't spoken of by A SPEAKER. WASN'T TAUGHT by a teacher. Wasn't written by a writer. Wasn't proclaimed by a politician. Wasn't delivered by A DIGNITARY. WASN'T VOTED ON BY A LEGISLATURE. Their attitude is, "The preacher works for me. Preacher here to serve me. Preacher's here to make sure me and my kids have some stuff to do. without cursing and stuff. Wrong. The preacher works for God. The preacher serves God. The preacher's not here to make sure, come on, somebody. You're feeling good. The preacher's here to make sure you don't go to hell. Matter of fact, in order for me TO GO TO HEAVEN AND NOT GO TO HELL, I NEED THE PREACHER TO PREACH SOME THINGS THAT DON'T MAKE ME FEEL GOOD, BUT THAT CHANGED MY LIFE. But now he's got you in a high place. Man, man, the music's too modern and the kids program's not modern enough and the people aren't friendly and the pastor doesn't answer my text in 15 seconds when I text him at 6:00 a.m. in the morning and it's critical and negative and looking down looking down. I need to know where the money goes. Well, I mean, I don't think the preacher needs a car like that. I think we should be GIVING MORE HERE. THAT'S NOT YOU TRYING TO BE HAVE AN ACCOUNTABILITY SPIRIT. THAT'S NOT JUST YOU WITH AN OPINION. THAT'S A YOUR ATTITUDE ABOUT THE PREACHING AND THE PRAISING SAYS A LOT ABOUT WHO YOU BECAUSE TO US US IT'S THE POWER OF GOD. The door that Satan came into Judas on was called the door of critical spirit, the door of negativity. And again, the Bible says the devil wasn't done. He says, "Let's go higher." He said, "I'll take you to an exceeding high mountain and show you the kingdoms of the world. I'll I'll I'm going to give you positions and power and money and blessings, but not every every sign of blessing and promotion is because you're spiritual preacher. How do I know? How do I know if it's a blessing or a demon in disguise? Verse nine. And the devil said, "All these things will I give thee if thou will fall down and worship me." How do you know if it's a demon in disguise or a blessing from God? Who did If you had to give up convictions

for the promotion, it's a demon in disguise. If you had to compromise your praise, it's a demon in disguise. if you had to give up your prayer life, it's a demon in disguise.
