we have uh last well a couple weeks ago we started last week um went into Tabernacle God's call and purpose we do have um just kind of a model display you're wel welcome to look at it just try not to touch it because if you do the little ones will and it's it's a little different anyway um it is just it's a replica of but it might help explain some if you've not been been made aware of the the actual what was put into it so please feel free to look at that if it helps you um the time that Moses spent with God in

the mountain it's always intrigued me that um in the beginning God created right anybody know who wrote the first five books of the Bible who did how did Moses write them when Moses wasn't there for it that's always intrigued me do what yeah that's always intrigued me though is anybody remember in your history I'll reference this many times while I in my PO of teaching here anybody know what happened in 70 AD Jerusalem and what happened burned it burned it to the ground and so a lot of what we might would have had was either taken to hide because there there were some that survived

or was burned so I give that point of reference only for this what man if that hadn't happen there is no telling how smart we'd be right now I mean honestly but that said we go when we look at how the spirit of God used Moses to note the creation story The why the what for the how the when so forth also everything through that book of Genesis uh it's interesting that even in just just that section of your Bible in Genesis is what happened after creation does anybody remember oh there's a lot of things well sure name one of the big ones though that

included a bunch of water there we go you know I mean it started and then man here we go yall are done and then it restarted that all right and we have today what is called the rainbow as an indication of I won't destroy it with water anymore okay the the reason I mention all of this is because when we look at Old Testament we have to understand we simply have a snapshot there is no physical way that our brains actually could handle all of the data now I would be so wrong if I didn't at least ask a question was anybody alive at that

time oh okay so we're all on the same page I thought maybe there somebody will stick their hand up um the fact remains that when we go to the word of the lord we look at it to understand how and why God interacted with Humanity the way he did therefore in stage right is the Tabernacle plan this is how God instructed Moses every detail every measurement every material every color every stripe every carve everything keep them mind the men the workers they didn't know how to do these things things per se but the Bible says that the spirit of God moved upon them and gave

them the wisdom they needed families in fact so like carving of gold or or melting of ores or how to make copper or bronze that could be any of those things God literally had to give all of the understanding to man man's job was to Simply bring the stuff they had as Moses presented it to them we read about that last week and in so doing this material was used to make a place where God could dwell now I would like for us to begin tonight in the book of Exodus chapter 32 the book of Exodus chapter 32 now we have talked often about this

but for the sake of tonight's lesson I want I want to speak a little bit Exodus 32:1 and when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out out of the mount for the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron and said unto him notice what the people said to Aaron Aaron was the high priest he was the the brother of Moses and the people of God looked because Moses remember he's in the mountain he's not come down he's 40 days up there and this is what they said up make us Gods which shall go before us for as for this Moses the man that

brought us up out of the land of Egypt we what not what has become of him Aaron said unto them break off the Golden Earrings which are in the ears of your wives of your sons of your daughters and bring them unto me verse three and all the people break off the Golden Earrings which were in their ears and brought them unto Aaron he received them at their hand fashioned it with a graving tool after he had made it a molten calf they said these be thy Gods o Israel which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt when Aaron saw it he built

an altar before it Aaron made Proclamation and said tomorrow is a feast to the Lord they rose up early on the tomorrow offered burnt offerings brought peace offerings and the people sat down to eat to drink and they rose up to play so here's the story in the book of Exodus notice how this situation unfolds notice what transpires here in this story Moses called invited woed if you will by God to come up into the mountain God said I need to talk to you so the representative of the people of Israel the children of Israel was God and Moses and God and they spoke God

is directly listen to this God is directly imparting to Moses his plan Moses listen carefully this is how things are to be done the power and the presence of God enveloped this man Moses and Moses began to write Moses began to describe he began to take note of what God was given him I I don't know about you I've got a pretty decent rememberer but I don't know that I could have remembered so many things so it was necessary to scribe to write them Moses of course knowing this he is infatuated with the fact that the Details Matter part here why does it matter about

the details with God anybody can't you just get a general idea and be okay with that it's a question and he answered no why you can't just say no you have to say no pause because why won't it which parts or the big Parts all parts thank you yeah high five we got it yeah okay here's here's the cool part about when God interacts with Humanity listen God already knows Humanity has what is necessary and God is even okay with saying I'll provide it for you you just bring it to me the importance here that I'm trying to stress is that when God gave to

Moses all of the details Moses listen Moses knew it mattered to God have you ever had you can write this one down in your Journal have you ever have I ever had a time when God told me to do something specifically and I did not do it specifically anyone you don't have to look at me and answer write it down I want you to ponder that over the next couple of days write that in your journal what about if God gave you the exact details and you did follow it what happened a little different story or no huh have you ever felt the unction of

the Lord telling you to do something and you say you know what H you know Lord if they're at Church Sunday and they have a red outfit on I'll speak to them tell me I'm lying huh kind of like the guy who who's on a diet but he feels like he needs a donut Stephen so he drives to Dunkin Donuts and he prays Lord if there's a parking space at the front door it's your will so he had drive around like eight times before there was finally a parking space and then he you know okay The Details Matter listen to me friend the reason that

this is an important write this down the reason it's important is because if details didn't matter you you could get to heaven however you wanted to but that is not the case the beauty of us not constructing Heaven is therefore we don't say who gets in or out that's up to the Lord God pause dot dot dot you ready for it there's people going to heaven that you and I may not want there I'm just convinced that there are things in the world that I can't give explanation for I I to this day can't explain the guy on the cross but that's what Jesus said

so guess what Paradise that's where he's at all right now we're going to continue I I I want you to notice and this is very important last week we talked about God's promise if you will I will but tonight what I'm going to talk about a little bit is God's patience because notice here notice here what happened in the book of Exodus chapter 32 make us good Doge which shall go before us that's what the folk said to Aaron write that down make us Gods now question on this make us Gods because if you make us Gods then we will be like the Egyptians they

these Gods will go before listen these gods that you make for us today Aaron are going to be the identifiers for us the children of Israel Abraham Isaac and Jacob Jacob's name was changed to Israel okay if that's the case listen the people of God were willing to sell it out for what they thought they had in Egypt oh this is strong they said make us God you know how the molten calf Gods was plural here that means there most likely were more than just a molten calf there could have been other ones like a Ram or like a sun or like other ones that

they worshiped in Egypt the interesting part here notice here is when people of God did not see God working look how quickly quickly they revolted went right back to what they had been raised in oh somebody hear it today huh look how fast they went back make us gods and these Gods will go before us and identify us and we'll be just like the Egyptians so what did Aaron do fine break off your earrings and bring them now I I talked a little bit about this the other night I feel it important here because the people of God it almost appears as if they are

bent on trying to do things contrary to what God is telling them it almost seems as if I mean come on if you if you had been a brick stomper your whole life and God delivers you with the 10 plagues and God brings you across on dry ground and God lets you see Pharaoh and his army destroyed and then so quickly after that you're willing to say yeah I wish we was back in Egypt okay here's my question go back to Egypt how are they going to get there they had already crossed waterer they they expect for who who were they expecting would come and

part the water again they had already ignored Moses oh y'all got to get this Moses was in the mountain far as they were concerned he was off the scene I have no doubt Aaron sitting there looking for a rod what am I going to do I don't have a I a't got no stick why I got that's what Moses did what I'm going to do he couldn't so they couldn't even go back to Egypt listen to me so make us gods and let these Gods let these Idols be what we connect with so Aaron he he complies to it let's go backwards just to smidge

for for clarification Exodus 21 notice this here Exodus 21 verse1 now these are the judgments which Thou shalt set before them I mentioned this last week if you if you want to do your homework po pre Wednesday night bible study go go to your Bible Genesis CH 20 and begin reading and go all the way up through 35ish therein lies this entire story you can kind of paint this picture in your mind so Exodus 21 now these are the judgments which Thou shalt set before them listen if thou buy an Hebrew servant six years He Shall Serve in the seventh he shall go out free

for nothing if you've got a servant that you bought and he's a Hebrew he's going to work for you for six years on the seventh Year let him go you're done I can no longer hold you as a servant verse three if he came in by himself he shall go out by himself if he came and said can I work for you can I be a servant at your house can you hire me to do so then if he came then he he can go by himself let's finish let's look here if he were married then his wife shall go out with him if his

master have given him a wife and she have borne him Sons or daughters the wife and her children shall be her Masters and he shall go out by himself verse five and if the servant notice this and if the servant shall plainly say I love my master say that with me I love my master I love my master my wife my children I will not go out free notice what happens then in verse 6 then his master shall bring him under the judges he shall also bring him to the door or unto the doorpost and his master shall bore his ear through with an all

and he shall serve him forever anybody know what this is talking about what is it he's what so at the doorpost if the guy is a servant and he loves the master and loves the wife and the kids then by the law the master would bring this guy to the doorpost and put his ear on the doorpost and take a punch all and put a hole in the lobe and put a ring in it marking him as a servant of Love understand that that was custom it's right there Exodus 21 fast forward what did we just read a little bit ago Aaron says to them

do what what was that oh what was that identifying you changed your love because when he said to them forget about deciding in your heart that you love your master you love your wife you love your CH forget that we're going to make an idol with it y'all this is strong welcome 2025 listen to me the hole in the earlobe was a sign that the servant had completed his or her request paid the debt and if the servant wanted to stay the judge would order the owner the master to put a hole in the ear put a golden ring into it to identify to anybody

who saw it he she they belong to someone so yes Pastor got in trouble many times when I would see somebody with an earring in I would simply say so who's your master oh that didn't go well I didn't make it up and I wasn't that's what it says it's what it says did I miss it okay stay with me stay with me Aaron says break your Covenant and your commitment to that Master pull off the earring give it to me the indication was that they wanted to change who they were for something they had no idea what they would become everything would change and

buy did it not listen to me careful I think that whatever happened at the bottom of that mountain on that particular evening or that day or that week was very very very disappointing therefore Moses of course as God's voice as God's man is standing in the very presence of God and God looks to Moses and says you better go why because something has happened to your people now notice what happens here God instantly He is building this rapport with Moses he is giving to Moses the law the command how to how not to what to do what not to do how to build it how

to construct it what needed to be at the front in the middle at the back around the outside how it needed to be touched and not touched and carried and wrapped up and and used everything detail-wise God was given to Moses on the mountain and now at the bottom of the mountain these folk are saying now we want to change our gods so what does Moses the voice of God do with all of these instructions he comes down we know the story he throws the tablets down breaks them runs through the camp knocks over the idols this whole thing erupts right did anybody here know

what God called the children of Israel at that moment anybody it's in your word what does he say about them they are a a what no look there in your word you've got it out whatever there's a there's a word he a title t-shirts got sold at that point he called them stiff necked yeah use that one at work tomorrow hello there stiff neck why you look like a stiff neck what do you think that means a what stubborn yeah another word though that's right but what else stiff necked hotty don't you just love somebody that's hotty huh Ain't it fun to be around that

person oh you uhhuh yeah me oh oh you know in the old times they look down their nose at you I'm not really oh anyway I don't a crosed or what that just means they raised their head and they didn't they didn't look at your level they were higher in you the word stubborn is attached notice this this is so cool Moses is in the presence of God himself Yahweh Elohim Adonai he is in the presence of the one that said let there be and he's standing in this presence and the way that God identified Moses with his people was you are haughty and you're

stubborn now I'm not so sure how I would have taken that how about you oh thank you work hard at that one no that's why Moses was mad man they had just come through generations of slavery man when they went into Egypt y'all got to understand something the 70 that went into Egypt went in there to live and survive and thrive that was their purpose they didn't go there so that they could be called bad people or anything no it was God's ordained place for them you're going to live because I made sure that a coat of many colors got blood oh Lord and got

sent back to dad and say what happened he was killed no understand something that was established and ordained by God and Joseph became the one then who was the dreamer who finally said man do I have a place for y'all come on come on we'll take care of you we'll make sure you are fed we'll make sure you have a place to live has anybody in your word ever study that Story come on bring them on in bring bring them in Benjamin Benjamin walks out got a cup cup in his pack he didn't even know it God is ordaining this whole thing listen they went

into Egypt with 100% willingness to go able to be there blessed of God multiplying and growing and it didn't take very long though that a king arose a pharaoh came up through the ranks CU you all know they didn't live forever that didn't know Joseph's story didn't understand Joseph and why he was so this and that and all of the other in between and so finally they got together these leaders and these rulers to do if we don't do something with those um Abrahim and minites and and and the josephites and and the Z sites if we don't do something with them they'll go outside

of Egypt and grab one of those other tribes and bring them in and man there'll be so many of them we won't be able to hold them and you know what the children of Israel did y'all ready for it 2025 it's the same thing that so many of us have done oh oh okay stom to make the bricks look how good I am come on come on how many know somebody okay you don't have to point to yourself I know me but how many you know somebody let's start there that God has blessed God has provided God has healed God has done wonderful things and

yet they still can't break that Bond of Slavery to the ways of the world so same principles same thing so stubborn haughty blatantly dainy proud showing an attitude of superiority contempt for people of things perceived to be inferior God's looking at Moses and he's saying the folk that are yours are stiff necked what does that mean that means I ask them to do this and instead they have chosen to follow after the things of their flesh now they won't bend the knee they won't humble themselves they won't bow themselves to the ground they have decided enough of this slave and Taskmaster mentality we're going to

be who we are we're going to have Idols just like the Egyptians do because we made it and took our covenant to our master and we gave it so that an idol could be built and we could identify with it as soon as imagine the heart and the spirit of Moses stiff necked Tim would you help me stiff necked hauy Superior what does that even mean how can that be and God says you know what I'm going to do I'm going to go down I'm going to wipe out every one of them I'm going to wipe every one of them out now listen Moses knew

the price was about to be paid didn't he and Moses stood there said Okay God okay but my desire is to stand in the place of what you want to do with them listen listen the children of Israel knew there was no way they could actually look at God and live he was so holy perfect and righteous you know that right from the stories from the from the indications here Moses has seen God talk to him and God looks at him and says the people that you represent are hoty and stubborn stiff neck Moses says then this is what I'm going to ask you I

should be dead because I see you you haven't killed me in fact you let me live and you gave me the stones with the law to take down to the people but God listen to me God if you're going to do that that I'm asking you to treat me like you would any of them I'm not really sure how many in this room would say yes Lord take me and instead of them huh now there's several that might would say Lord give me their blessing if they don't want it I mean that's human nature right Moses comes down God has already told them I'm done

with you guys he's even said to the well let's go Exodus 33 all right fine we'll go to the word this way Exodus 33:12 you going write this down Exodus 33:12 to 17 Moses said to the Lord say thou sayest see thou sayest unto me bring up this people and thou Hast not let me know whom thou wil send with me yet thou Hast said I Know Thee by name thou Hast also found Grace in my sight now therefore verse 13 I pray thee if I have found Grace in thy sight show me now thy way that I may Know Thee that I might may

find Grace in thy sight and consider that this nation is thy people 14 he said my presence shall go with thee and I will give thee rest notice what's going on 15 he said unto him If thy presence go not with me carry us not up hence for wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found Grace in thy sight is it not in that thou goest with us so shall we be separated I thy people from all the people that are upon the face of the Earth notice 17 and the Lord said to Moses Moses I will do this thing

also that thou Hast spoken for thou Hast found Grace in my sight and I Know Thee by name but Moses you've got work to do how does someone I'm I'm I'm keeping eye on the clock how does somebody how does some people change a name stiff neck to another name what would be what would be the opposite of stiff necked loose necked no I mean it makes sense to me right what is it humble what else submissive what else come on what's another word obedient perfect what else pliable sure what else bendable shapable now here's the thing God's already said to Moses they're stiff neck

they're hoty they're Superior they're stubborn they have decided they do not want me but Moses you stand in front of me and you say listen if you're going to wipe them out wipe me out first blot me out first and then it will be taken care of and God has already made a promise to Abraham Isaac and Jacob that there would be a people called by his name he would be their God they would be his people and that is this people and so now Moses is bringing back to God saying now hold on a minute you made a covenant with Abraham and because of

this because of this Covenant God I'm going to ask you will you hold to your word or will you be the one that breaks your word because the fact remains if we leave this place and you're not with us the entire world is going to say what about Elohim Yahweh I don't not what is the world going to say he's only with you huh until he don't need you no more but God you made this Covenant circumcision has happened from that point of Abraham to now because we are the ones that are called by your name and if you back out of that God's not

backing out of it what God is doing is what what was he doing with Moses he was establishing what his law this is what you've got to understand Moses I will be your God but you have to be my people and you have to follow my word you don't have space time effort energy to do anything but what and how I tell you hence this Tabernacle now next week we're going to dig just a little bit deeper in but notice here when all of this transpired there was a tent that Moses would put up outside of the camp the tent of the congregation and he

would go there and he would meet with God if you had a need of God then you had to physically decide you were going to go and you would get up you would bring your quarrel you would bring whatever to Moses and you would he would talk to you you would Converse you would get judgment on you'd go home and you do what he told you to do not everybody did that what God was doing at that point then was weeding them out do you realize friends that when God gave this command to Moses and they begin to build it there was so much stuff

brought that they finally had to say just like when Solomon's Temple was done man there's so much stuff here huh there is a pattern here when God's people submit to God's plan God is going to provide over abundantly what's needed and God's going to look at you and say you have given out of a Hungry Heart and a desire to want to be with me therefore because of that I am your god there are so many in our generation that want to call themselves Christian but they can't even give you the definition of Christlike oh that means sandals no oh wait y'all ready that mean

great big old beard yeah that's what it mean no what it means is God's presence and favor with Humanity what does Jesus mean Jehovah has become salvation so last week we talked about God's promise I'm going to give you what you need and when you do it I will come and I will be there with you notice now tonight God's patience I'll ask you this I've got just a couple minutes left has God ever been patient with you H you can write that one ponder that this week in your prayer time has God ever been patient with me now is there anybody brave enough tonight

to say yes he has and tell us why or how an example has God ever been patient with you somebody's afraid to speak because you'll know you're not the only one but then you'll become the point of reference you know it's kind of like you may you know what a Walmart bag is yeah but you can get that Walmart bag at Food City or at Publix you just call it a Walmart bag why because somebody set the precedent am I right yeah skill saw it's a circular saw but skill made the okay sorry s nobody here wants to be that yeah that's the the testimony

anybody have you ever experienced the patience of God okay okay oh you were nice oh that was kind yeah you were doing him a favor though you were doing him a favor Lord this will work right no come on we're laughing why CU every one of you have done the same thing every one of us yeah come on I know thank you sis for sharing I know what it's like for God to say something to me and me not do it and then have to live with that also know what it's like when God says something that unction you and do it and watch the

hand of God work I also have followed the unction of God and done it and nothing happened in my mind why because we're judging it by what we see and God doesn't see it like we his ways are where yeah come on God may have already answered a prayer you prayed 10 years ago but he didn't show it to you because it's still working huh there is no way in this world anybody in this room could ever explain the prodical son how is it dad give me my Porche give me my portion give me my portion come on come on give it to me and

Dad say and him take it spend it waste it frivolous come on how many times do you think that that young man wept and cried and boohoo and squalled because he squandered it away we know don't we why because we're we identify with that don't we I challenged myself then to go to the other side of the Corin about the dad standing there every day saying it's today a day I know what he deserves he know what he deserves but he'll if he ever comes back I'm G to show him something that's going to blow his mind listen to me carefully and I'm done as

we study the word of the Lord and we are looking at the tab this plan guys there is no way we can argue against it no way the cloud that set upon it during the day the fire that sat upon it at night was a constant reminder of God's power and God's presence his command with the people I don't know about you but I am thankful for the patience of God huh I I stand with me I I realized that new testament people like us we we can almost justify it with well the veil was torn top to bottom and there it was all done

away with who was the veil you understand that now we have activity going on in the holiest of holies that before God would have smoked you if you even thought the thought so who are we today in 2025 to think that we deserve all of this because of who we are fact remains except for the grace the mercy of God his patience we don't deserve anything so again I say we're studying this Tabernacle plan very deeply because I want us to understand that God had a purpose he has one still he has one today and his patience says you were lost you were living in

a world of sin you were wrapped up in all of your stuff but I died on a cross for you and I loved you before you even knew who I was I paid a price before you even knew what was going to be paid that that's how much he loved us I wish right now you'd take just a few minutes as we transition just lift your hand to the Lord Lord thank you thank you Lord that you are patient you are longsuffering thank you you are sure you are right come on somebody somebody right now needs to understand the the immense blessing that God has

in your life because of his goodness and his mercy and his love and his power in his presence come on thank him I thank you Lord oh come on somebody on a Wednesday night you can get close to God you can get close to him right now Lord I believe in you and I love you Jesus I thank you I thank you I thank you come on somebody take a moment tonight before you walk out Lord I Thank You For Truth I Thank You For Truth the word of God that changed es me the the power of a holy ghost that works come on somebody

Lord I I thank you for it Jesus I thank you for it Jesus you are lovely all together lovely Is Your Name Lord and I I thank you for your power and your presence come on love the Lord love the Lord Jesus is in this room here right now here right now making this place I stand Holy G holy your spirit and all around all good and perfect things flowing down flowing down if all of the heavens are singing along with the Saints and the elders Glorious song in the Praises they sing never seem to get old then I'll stay here forever singing holy holy

and you'll be forever the peace in in glory you you are and you'll be forever K glor you are You Are You Are Holy Jesus thank you Lord oh come on would you love on him for a moment lift your hands in this place and give the King of Kings the worship and adoration that he is due holy to your name Jesus thank you Jesus Lord where your spirit is is Liberty Lord thank you Jesus for breaking the veil for us Hallelujah Jesus Hallelujah Jesus stand Ono ground and I know that there are angels all around so let us pray Jesus now we are standing

in his presence on Holy Ground sing it like you mean it we are on Hope Holy Ground and I know that there are angels all around oh so let us pray Jesus we are standing with his presence on holy one more time would you lift your voices and sing it we are SA on Holy Ground and I know that there are angels all around us PR Jesus now we are standing in his presence on the ground now in reference to the ground that you're standing on please lift your hands in this place would you take a moment and press a little bit further a little

go home I know that there's a whole lot of stuff to pray about right when you don't know what else to do what they say pray just pray Lord you know right would you pray with me right now Lord I together God we are praying over families individuals situations circumstances Lord that need your hand dear God that need to have Angels Lord to be dispatched to go to them we know that you are the prayer answering God and every one of these needs tonight God you can meet them where they are you are healing tonight God you are guidance you are provision you are protection

Lord you're everything in between Jesus help us Lord to lift our eyes unto you great God Defender Lord Jesus Defender Lord Jesus Victory comes in your name Jesus bless our city dear God our nation Lord Lord I pray for it pray for our military men and women our First Responders I pray Lord for our missionaries around the globe in the name of Jesus the name of Jesus Revival Lord I pray Revival Lord I pray hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hey yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah oh I love the presence of the Lord don't you I do owee you an apology on Sunday service went and I went
