Summary

Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.

Opening Prayer and Welcome

  • The preacher opens in prayer, making himself available to the Lord and asking Him to speak into lives as the word is preached.
  • He welcomes guests and those watching online, and thanks the church's workers and volunteers for every part they play in the kingdom.
  • He greets family and visitors in the house and sets an expectancy for what God is doing in the hour.

Creatures of Habit: Routine and the Challenge of Change

  • We are creatures of habit, repeating the same actions daily — brushing teeth, fixing hair, driving the same route to work.
  • “So-so” really means “same old, same old”; routine keeps us moving forward, but a single roadblock in the journey throws everything into havoc.
  • Change is hard to introduce because a new course has to be worked into the system of how we do things, and many lose their footing when something is not the way it is supposed to be.
  • He directs the congregation to write in their journals three areas of life that are routine or habit, and to consider why adjustments are such a challenge.

The Recipe: Ingredients Determine the Outcome

  • A donut, a cake, or a biscuit does not just happen — a whole pile of ingredients goes into it, and experience teaches that some ingredients are better than others.
  • Starting the process with the correct items produces a properly assembled recipe that can actually be enjoyed.
  • We want things done correctly all the time, the same instinct that makes a shopper reject a bad tomato or a bad avocado.

The Tabernacle: God's Plan Assembled Piece by Piece

  • The year's study of the Tabernacle shows a distinctive directive from God: do it as I tell you, in the precise manner I give you, and I will supply the materials and the wisdom.
  • Following the plan, piece connected to piece until the whole thing assembled — not a pile of stuff, but the wonder of God working with humanity.
  • Making church attendance a habit is part of that wonder: people come back with hands lifted, not having all the answers, but knowing a God who is high and lifted up.
  • He directs a second journal entry: one area of life where God's plan has affected you directly.

No Leaven, No Honey in the Offering

  • Leviticus commands that no meat offering brought to the Lord be made with leaven, and that no leaven nor any honey be burned in any offering made by fire.
  • Leaven works by fermentation — something introduced from outside into the inside to get a desired result, whether rising dough or turning fruit toward alcohol.
  • At the Exodus there was no time to watch bread rise; deliverance required gathering the family and walking out at God's timing, leaving the leaven behind.
  • There is nothing we can do to sweeten the deal with God; we cannot drag the mess of our old life to the altar and still expect to look good doing it.
  • A real sacrifice brought to the altar will not be pretty — no composed tears or declarations of how good we have been — but offered honestly, as unto God.

Scriptures: Leviticus 2:11

The Altar: God Wants You, Not Your Stuff

  • The altar is where everything in the Tabernacle began, and the God who spoke creation out of chaos lets us come to Him messed up and foolish, with a plan and a purpose for working with us.
  • His own testimony: doctors told his parents that by thirteen he would be in a wheelchair, never drive, never return to school — but the hand of the Lord healed him, and God is a healer.
  • He testifies of God's provision as well: when the account was red and he and his wife decided to give anyhow, the Provider stepped in and a door opened.
  • God is interested in you, not your stuff; the end-time church will not look pretty — revival will break out in classrooms and on campuses, and a drunkard can walk in staggering and sober up at the altar as the Holy Ghost falls.

Psalm 51: The Prayer of a Broken and Contrite Heart

  • He directs the congregation to write Psalm 51 in their journals and reads David's psalm in full — the prayer David prayed when Nathan confronted him.
  • The psalm pleads for mercy and cleansing: blot out my transgressions, wash me from my iniquity, purge me and I shall be clean, create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit.
  • Its center: God does not desire sacrifice or delight in burnt offering; the sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, and a broken and contrite heart He will not despise.
  • Receiving what we bring is pure faith that it will be acceptable to Him; like David, we have no choice but to be honest before God.

Scriptures: Psalms 51

Old-Time Religion: Routines That Miss the Blessing

  • Habits and rituals can cause us to miss the blessings of God — we walk into a service already knowing the order of everything that will transpire, when the only expectancy should be between us and Him.
  • His grandmother practiced old-time religion: with no church to go to, she put ten percent in a mason jar for the Lord, and had a twelve-by-twelve prayer room built where the ladies battled in prayer on Tuesday.
  • The money changers doctored up blemished animals to sell in the temple, and Jesus drove them out: His house is to be called a house of prayer, not a den of thieves.
  • He closes with an altar call to bring an honest sacrifice — nothing added, the leaven and honey left out — and be renewed, because a restored testimony is what teaches transgressors God's ways.

Scripture index: Leviticus 2:11; Psalms 51.

workers and volunteer I I love you thank you for your giving every week singers musicians Sunday school Journey those who watched parking lot do nothing those who watch the parking lot do stuff make coffee smile whatever your part is in the Kingdom I appreciate greatly what you do to the Lord amen turn to your neighbor and say you did good what a wonderful wonderful expectancy in the house today amen God is doing in this hour and I'm thankful today that he's

here thank you so much brother donon oh I'm glad Lincoln's here today that's my nephew over there his wife Riley we're glad y'all are why did y'all sit way over there Sam made them good to see all of you out today Jeremy look sharp look good to see you guys today AI I'm glad you're here buddy I'm sorry it's a South a a with a Southern ax amazing as it is you and I we are creatures of habit we go through

many of the same repeated actions every day listen to me carefully I want to help some of y'all today brushing your teeth now if you're looking left or right you're probably trying to make a point to your loved one fixing your hair come on Seth where you at fixing your hair washing the dishes taking a bath just fixing a meal on and on and on we could go of course we we like patterns we like routine habits how many here knows

what when somebody says how you doing today if you respond so so what does that mean no it means same old same old so so same old same old that's like when I go get my haircut y'all know this is true how you want it cut this time so so God if I say I want to look like somebody they simply look at me and say sorry anyway change is not always easy to introduce into your daily life you drive the

same route every day to work for an example maybe um you take the same twists and turns you know what they are I don't does anybody here still use GPS some some of you are going to put it in your phone on the way home today I can tell now you've been there a million times but your habit is if a roadblock is introduced on your journey boy that just throws Havoc everywhere I mean you'll be an hour late to work

just because there was something off on your journey when you get to work everybody's going to understand you know what the tree was down the middle of the road every go and nobody thinks nothing of it why because we all understand that habits routine they're very good for us keeps us moving forward in your Journal if you've got a discipleship Journal I want you to write three areas of your life that you feel are routine or habits for you right I

want you to think about that this week three areas of your life that are routine or habits why is it such a great challenge for us to make adjustments to the routine why where where where do we lose the confidence that we can keep on moving forward even if we have to go left or right an inch or foot why why is it such a challenge and at times we just lose all of our footing we we blow our minds because

we we something is not the way it's supposed to be we basically understand that starting a new course or a new way of doing things is a challenge you've got to introduce it into your system into the way you do things and there in is life I stand here today and me simply mentioning change some of you are breaking out in hives you're so nervous right now you're like Lord I'm tomorrow I don't I don't even know uh some of y'all

are on on fall on spring break next week did I understand that anybody on spring break this coming week stand up VY stand up come on let everybody see spring break he's losing his mind right now cuz he knows that it don't take but a second and all of his plans can go into a tail spin and he ends up having to fix half the things that are I'm just saying sometimes life is a challenge sometimes there are some in here

that love the challenge of change some of you thrive on change some of you just don't want to know you just want to get up and stretch and go it's evident what you're wearing I'm joking I'm joking joking habits routines rituals consistency they are points that are approached with caution because we're not really sure what it looks like on the other side let me ask a question now you don't have to break out in Revival right now but I'm going to

ask you a challenging question how many here likes a good donut just like a good donut what's your favorite dut yell it out yes just yes works right all right all right all right how about a big old piece of chocolate cake all right right more specific red velvet look how y'all are not now somebody somebody just now all right I'm going to get Southern real quick how many likes a hot biscuit with butter and jelly Ain't it Fun gravy brought

into it Ain't It Funny Ain't It Strange how we all kind of are in that mode but if I were to say how many like chicken livers beef livers some of yall some of I mean it's just amazing how that happens why because a donut a cake or whatever you're enjoying you've got a whole pile of ingredients that go into that item to make it that don't just happen contrary to what children believe they don't just grow on trees and you

pick it and hand it no how many have their favorite recipe for for a certain biscuit I I I do I have one and nobody in my family likes it and my wife says she does but then she buys Frozen ones and I scratch my head here here's the point I make experience teaches you that when you are making a recipe you learn that some ingredients are better than others you know there are there are the times that great value works

but then there's a time that hindes has to be there you know what I'm saying it's just certain things now a lot of that's determined on budget come on somebody ramen noodles are fabulous when you got a quarter in your pocket but to get the right consistencies and stuff you know that if you'll start the process with the correct items that you can actually have a really good assembled recipe and then you can enjoy what you just made now I began

thought for this day I mentioned the fact that we as humans are creatures of habit and we like to do things in a certain way we move forward as long as there's Clarity clarity as long as there's a way to pass we're okay challenges will deter us in the midst of what we are talking about today I've brought to you just just a couple of examples of how we enjoy things when they're done correctly and we want them to be correctly

all the time huh ain't nobody going to go down to the grocery store and say I hope I get the worst tomato today on the sh no fact you'll stand there and block the whole lines in that's what I do the avocados you can't have a bad avocado I'm stand just to you go when we were in a mission field they were this big and you'd shake them why cuz the seed breaks loose when it's right boy some of y'all just

learned some aren't you glad you came to church but you know what we have been talking since the first of this year about the Tabernacle of God if you have questions about it wonder what it looks like you are welcome at the end of the service to March over there and you can see there's a little model sitting there on top of the baptismal we use it on Wednesday nights for our class I set it out here and we talk about

listen to me carefully we've understood that through our processes of preaching and teaching that as we have looked deeper into the wise and the what fors that we notice that there is a distinctive directive from God do as I tell you to do the way that I tell you to do it I will give you all the stuff you need and the wisdom to know how to put it together you're not going to know anything about it I'm going to teach

you something new it's going to be a challenge but if you'll do it the way I say to do it and the precise manner that I give to you to do it then everything is going to look just fine when it's over follow me for a moment you'll notice in the details of the Tabernacle the gold the silver the bronze all the stuff the wood everything that was brought together they did not end with a pile of stuff but in the

process of time following the plan of God this thing begin to connect with this thing this one begin to attach to that one they begin to assemble it the way that God had given it to them and at the end of it all they stood there at The Wonder of God working with Humanity come on every Sunday when I walk in this house I see The Wonder of God working with Humanity do you I cuz I know some of y'all's trials

and and some of y'all's tribulations and and some of y'all's challenges you're going through and you might be down and out on a Tuesday cuz you don't know what's going to happen but yet you come back to this church house on a Sunday with hands lifted High saying I don't have all the answers H but I know a God that's high and lifted up therefore I have made it a habit to come to the church house right now in your Journal

write down number two write this down right one area of your life where you can see God's plan has affected you directly for those that are guests with us today if you don't have a journal please use your phone or whatever we gave out journals at the first of the year for our church folk to make they're making down writing down all the stuff that God is doing for them through this year it's a challenge for them why because I believe

God gives us words and I believe if we follow the words God will lead us in the word and we will be able to connect it and every day and every week the enemy G to stand up and say my my I'm afraid of them why cuz they believe God's word not afraid of them because who they are I'm afraid because of who they are H can I go further one of the most interesting things that we have found and discovered

in my opinion only as I go through the Exodus account as I look at the levitical law and I find out how that God is working with Humanity to do to change their order of things how they have done things I notice something Leviticus chapter number two verse number 11 put it in your Journal Leviticus chapter 2 verse number 11 no meat offering which ye shall bring unto the Lord listen this shall be made with leaven for you shall burn no

leaven nor any honey in any offering of the Lord made by fire no leaven in any of your sacrifices now I realize that for those that are of a lesser age you don't even know what Le is I don't feel bad neither it out no I'm joking leaven okay modern yeast can we use that one okay uh it's the stuff that puts the holes in your donut now we're having church right we understand what leaven is but the law said that

God gave to the people it's no leaven will touch the altar of sacrifice leaven by its nature is a bacterial fungus it's used in from fation of fruits for an example to make wine for an example you would ferment the fruit that's a leaven that goes in there and through a bacterial process and Through Chemistry if you will it begins to work with the fruit and it begins to ferment it to where it begins to develop into sugar which by its

nature mixed with fruit is alcohol there you go there's the basic fundamental understanding of it but the fact remains is that that fermentation process in bread or in fruit fruit or in anything else it means that you have to introduce something from outside to the inside in order to get the final result that you desire if you want the dough to rise if you want it to be a good piece of bread a good doughnut a good cake you got to

make sure the ingredient is in there otherwise come on some of you men know what I'm talking about you ever make a piece of bread that ain't bread Civil War called it Tac that flour and water they heated it boom cracker the nursery today they're going to have a treat in there but it ain't leaving or or it ain't it ain't plain it's it's it's those golden things that how all full of air I don't know who pumps the air in

those little fish but they those are just good right the cheese it come on brother Tim you know what I'm talking that's what they having over there in the nursery today but we see we're adults and we don't get those till we get home and we raid the closet listen to me you can tell in all of life situations when introduce yeast or you introduce leaven or you introduce something into what you are enjoying or what you are purposefully making that

you are doing it listen to me on purpose you are trying to make it edible usable desirable so why would God of all of creation tell Moses get the leaven out of your hand when you bring a sacrifice meat offering wave offering heave off anything that you bring I don't want to see leav in it why because the fact remains when they got up and they were in Egypt with bondage can I just give you the quick story here he said

it's time to go it's time to go it's time to go you don't have time to watch the bread rise you don't have time to put things you got to get up you got to G up your loins you got to stand at the door ready to walk out of the camp why because when God does something he'll do it on his timing and he ain't about to sit sit there and wait on you to get your act together but if

you're looking for deliverance today I come to tell somebody are you ready to walk away from it all back there and simply step out and Trust God's got an answer for your next step come on I believe some of us reach an obstacle in our path because we want to bring the sweet things of our old life with us you cannot follow the same ritual of rising of bread and be delivered you don't have time to punch down the dough to

fold it and to put a little more flour and put it back in the you don't have time for that what you do have time for though is to gather up your loved ones uh is to gather up your firstborn who's hidden behind the blood on the lentil you've got time to gather up your second third born you got time to grab your wife's hand or anybody else in the family why because when delivered comes he don't have time to wait

on you to gather the stuff that don't matter this is what God did to his people he said to them you leave the leaven you leave the yeast why because the interaction between you and me there is nothing you can do to sweeten a deal some of us want to y'all got to hang on to Pastor a minute some of us want to come to an altar today uh and we want to bring our hands lifted up and we want to

br bring our broken heart and all our contrite spirit and we want to bring all this stuff to the things of God but all the while we're trying to drag in the mess of our lives and decide Lord I've come to love you don't I look good Lord I've come to lift my hands notice how I look good Lord I've come to give you praise and honor and Glory but I'm doing it under my account instead of yours and what the

Lord God is saying to us as a church you're not going to look good uh when you really bring us sacrifice to the altar it is not going to be a pretty thing you're not going to weep yourself uh and have a little tissue uh to dry the little tears from your eyes you're not going to be able to stand there in an altar and declare how good you are or how wonderful you've been no my friend uh the Lord God's

going to say uh when you bring a sacrifice leave the leaven out I fear today uh that some of us are hung up on ourselves we don't want to do it that way we want God to bless us gently when I come to tell you y'all okay y'all y'all should have prayed harder for pastor last year when I started getting in this Tabernacle I was so messed up why because when I come to an altar I already know brother Horton I'm

not bringing pretty stuff I tried that I'm not bringing good stuff I tried that what I'm going to do though is I'm going to bring my sacrifice to The Altar and I'm going to declare by the word of the Lord I know it's ugly I know it don't look right I know that I'm simple and I'm plain but this one thing I do do is I do it as unto you oh God I know it's not pretty I know that I

got a cry face going on I realize that my hair is messed up I know that my shirt is staying with sweat I know my tie is crooked but I don't care I didn't put this on for you anyway I wore this to the house of God with full expectancy y'all hearing the preacher that I knew that God was going to get a hold of me today why because when I come to the house of God I cannot afford to go

home the same way I need for God to change me why was it so important then for God to tell Moses when you bring your sacrifice I do not want to see the honey nor the leaven a reminder of where you came from indeed but also a reminder of why you are bringing this sacrifice ice to the altar listen to me carefully this is what we're studying this month month of March on our Wednesday night the altar such an incredible piece

in the Tabernacle an incredible peace everything began there everything and again it's just me because I I I love this kind of stuff because it's so intriguing that the God of all creation who simply spoke into chaos spoke BR into all the confusion and all the darkness let there be and it happened that God lets me come to him and say Lord I I need you I'm messed up and I'm I'm foolish and I I got Junk that I'm trying to

work on and the Lord is saying I can work with you because I can love you I can do something with you see there there's a whole lot that I'm learning then for this in that God actually has a plan and a purpose and so many of us sitting here today we've been healed and we'll we'll declare it come on you've been healed Don't Be Afraid anybody been healed see I some of us are halfhazard raising our hand yeah I healed

I I I was healed now if you was healed you'd be losing your mind because the end of the story means you're going to die see I I know I know I know what he healed me of I know what he took me from I know the path I was running down I know what the doctor told my mom and dad I sitting right there by the time he's 13 he'll be in a wheelchair he won't never drive he won't what

my that's what my testimony you may have a different that that what I remember of when I was a child he ain't going to make it he'll never go back to school he won't know how I I was there for that one but I come to tell you today the hand of the Lord works and God Is A Healer God Is A Healer see I know what it's like to look at the bank account and it not look right and it

not look correct and it be red and I ain't got enough money to do this and we don't have enough to do that but I know what it's like see it's my testimony when I look at my wife and she said baby we don't have it and we decided together we're going to give it anyhow and somehow someway the provider stepped in and a door opened and something happened and I can't explain but one thing I know he is a provider

see that's my testimony I'd be foolish to Simply nonchalantly wave my hand can God do it I believe he can do it h and it causes me to love him it causes me to worship him every single day uh with my tie crooked with my shirt untucked I've come to thank God because he's good to me he's good to me Hallelujah the fact remains God is interested in you and not your stuff he he he don't need your stuff Lord help

me stay on track see there's so many things that God desires in the end time Church and I believe we're get I believe I believe things are happening I believe the word and what it says and I understand that to be a part of the former and latter Reign together we're going to have to see some things that we may not be expecting I don't y'all know pastor's heart and my spirit I don't believe end time Church going to look like

this I mean y'all y'all want to hear what I feel what what I know you're going to be staying in your classroom and one of your children come and ask you for something and you're going to pray and plead the blood of Jesus over them and God's going to heal them now they going to have to go home explain to Mom and Dad what just happened and therein is where Revival is you're going to be on your college campus somebody going

to walk by you and say what is wrong with you you're going to reach out and say I just love you I just want and they're going to say what my whole life has been a disaster I need somebody just to speak that word and you're going to have Revival on your campus why because it ain't going to look like what we have see we got all this expectancy with piles and piles of Leaven and yeast and honey cuz we're trying

to make the church smell and look like and it's not going to some of us are going to be so highly offended that when the drunkard walks through their back door staggering having drunk bottles of alcohol God's going to sober him up as he walks down the aisle why because that's what God can do he don't need your pretty he don't need your good he just needs you to want him more than anything and come running to him uh y'all come

too late to tell me that God's not interested in that I have watched with these eyes a drunk coming to church uh walking like this on the mission field and he walked in smelling bad looking bad oh he was bad but when he made his way down an altar and he began to cry the Holy Ghost came in and I W watched him sober up and began to speak in tongues as the spirit gave utterance and I'm standing there Sam in

amazement that God didn't do it the way I thought some of you know what I'm talking about because you had the drugs in your body but when you came in the presence of God and you began to believe uh that he could do something in your life uh you were cleansed uh you didn't look pretty you didn't smell pretty but you were honest before God hallelujah H the altar the altar y'all want a prayer this is what you're going to pray

write this in your Journal Psalm 51 some of y'all about to break out right now Psalm 51 the chief musician Psalm of David when Nathan the prophet came unto him after he had gone into Beth Sheba that's what your King James version says have mercy upon me oh God according to thy loving kindness according unto the mult multitude of thy Tender Mercies blot out my transgressions wash me thly from my iniquity cleanse me from my sin for I acknowledge my transgressions

my sin is ever before me against thee thee only have I sinned and done this evil into thy sight that thou that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest and be clear when thou judgest behold I was shapen in iniquity and Inc sined my mother deceive me behold thou desirest truth in the inward parts and in the hidden part Thou shalt make me to know wisdom Purge me with his up and I shall be clean wash me and I shall be

whiter than snow make me to hear joy and gladness that the bones which thou Hast broken May Rejoice hide thy face from my sins and B out all mine iniquities David said create in me a clean heart oh God and renew a right Spirit Within Me cast me not away from thy presence take not thy Holy Spirit from me restore unto me the joy of thy salvation uphold me with thy free spirit then will I teach transgressors thy ways and sinners

shall be converted unto thee deliver me from blood Guiltless and oh God thou God of my salvation and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness oh Lord open thou my lips and my mouth shall sh forth thy praise for thou desirest not sacrifice else I would give it thou do Delight us not in burnt offering the sacrifices of God are a broken Spirit a broken and a contrite heart oh God thou wi not despise as David was caught in his

mess his prayer was God renew me restore unto me when God wants us to make a sacrifice to him it is pure faith that he will receive it do you understand that it is pure faith that what you bring to him will be acceptable to him so many times though we are guilty of doctoring it up trying to make it look better we want our confession to be sweet the fact is is that David had no choice but to be honest

before God listen habits many times are routines our rituals will cause us to miss the blessings of God you know how I know that because before any of us walked into this room today before anybody logged on online to watch you already had an idea and and an understanding what was going to transpire in this service they're going to open with prayer sister stacy says that we start with prayer and everybody's going to say okay they're going to pray and then

you knew because the musicians and singers had already been here preparing and they've got their songs together and it was good and then they're going to do announcements and then they're going to take up an offering and they're going to ask people to bless and then they're going to pray their prayer they've been doing it for years and in your mind you already understand that by the end of the service it may get hot here and you may be uncomfortable because

it's kind of tight but you're okay with that because when service is over you can leave and all is well cuz you went to the house of God if I'm lying let me know but the fact remains is when you come to the house of God the only expectancy should be you and him amen before the children of Israel ever came to the Tabernacle they had already decided weeks in advance what they were going to bring if I bring a sacrifice

of a lamb I've got to separate him two weeks 14 days before I bring him huh and when they came they had to make sure that they were there with their whole family So the plan was already made it wasn't let's get up Sunday see how we feel we can go and if we go we can hurry up and afterwards the coupon is good until 3:00 you know they had what was called I'm trying my best to stay on these notes

at one time in in in the church World they had what was called Old Time religion good enough for me they'd say it if it was good for Paul and they' even do this good for PA they even clap sometime it was good for Paul and watch this watch ready it's good enough for me and that was called good Church Old Time religion old time and most of us have no clue what oldtime religion means I know what my grand mother

with a third Ed Ed third grade education knew what it was brother Rob she said I don't have a church to go to but I saw Jesus name baptism in the Bible I read it myself I have no idea what tithing is all I know is it says 10% I studied that I see that she didn't have a church to go to she had a mason jar she get her check she put 10% in it she put the jar up Lord

that's yours Lord that's yours y'all see what I'm saying that's old time that's old time some of us don't understand that power of sacrifice of saying Lord whether I have a church or not and it was she was the one who said PA that was my PA she called him P cuz we all called him P see how that work I need a place to pray okay honey what you want me to do about it Go build me a prayer room

do not go build me a second bedroom do not go build me a bigger kitchen do not go build me a patio out back but you go build me a prayer room and that 12 x 12 prayer room brother Tim you remember that as a kid going in my granny's prayer room yeah was it was that dirty old place it with Don's bedroom by the time you got there Tim and I known each other for yeah so that was prayer room

I've told y'all about my granny's prayer room but let me let's let me let me explain that's oldtime religion y'all sure you want that y'all sure you want that because on Tuesday sister Stacy it was Prayer day and ain't nobody going to stop Prayer Day and if granny got in oh Lord somebody's F to get a lesson if granny got in there early and decided to stay late you couldn't say nothing about that if you're lunch was late guess what you're

going to have to wait I told you as a kid I sat on the couch looking at the prayer room door and I'd sit and watch these seven or eight ladies go in on Tuesday say I was too young I going to go to school I'm sitting right there and I'd look up and and brother Lorenzo within hours I mean they just battle boom smack Glory no glory more and I watched them go in looking all pretty with their leavon and

their yeast and their honey but when they came out hairs all strung down their back bobby pins in their hand snot rags in their hand I don't know what just happened I'm sitting or standing at his room I ain't about to go in that room I don't know who's in there what they're doing listen to me listen to me that's what I was raised on that's old time religion when somebody says you know what if it was good for Paul inside

come on you really don't want that cuz if you really want that your life's about to be turned upside down and everything about you is going to be different and you're going to walk to church different some of y'all going to make a mistake and say God if you can do it for them you can do it for me uh and next Sunday you going to come in here and God been putting you through a prayer room and you don't know

what to do next but the anointing of the Lord says my hand is upon you uh for this hour and I did call you into the kingdom for such a time as this you would not have worked before you won't work later but right now you want Revival then you renew yourself in the Holy Ghost stand with me please woo here's bot will cas's 124 y'all know I'm a Time Watcher I don't mean nothing but it says just so so you

know some of you guys can remember when going to church was fun yeah for me I was 10 or 11 and I got a yo-yo can't remember that we had yo-yos it was Christmas time I didn't know how to do yo-yo I'm going am I right Tim and him and I would stand here together and say I don't know no listen to me those were the good old days brother T will yell at us for talking in church and that was

my wife's favorite thing she got yelled at one time didn't you we don't do that in this church Young lady so guess what she didn't do next time bad oh I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I I just revealed some discipline in church I'm sorry this is what I learned Lord if it was good for Paul and Sil if it was good and we sing that again that's an Oldtimer song they realize and recognize that without God they were nothing and

they couldn't add anything to it all they could do is just take all the mess out and say Lord I'm bringing it to you cuz it's all I got it's the very best that I have and Lord It's My Sacrifice I feel like brother Lorenzo in my prayer that Lord I'm asking God for direction and guidance for the church and in my prayer the Lord has been so very he's always very kind very kind very gracious he's saying I want to

do so much because it's his we're just simply vessels here and a lot of us want to be vessels of gold or silver used for the king's table when the truth is is there are other vessels of wood and stone they don't look as good in fact we might even say yeah that's the best they got forgetting the fact that everything that goes into the king's Palace is perfectly right because as it's true what your great aunt used to tell you

your mom and dad were afraid to tell you God Don't Make Junk he loves you Calvary was enough enough for you Grace is powerful enough for you and mercy works so the prayer then David said it renew within me a right Spirit restore he said Joy of Salvation why because coming to the altar should have one purpose and one purpose only Lord I am bringing my best and I've added nothing to it I can't bring this cow this sheep this turtle

dove this pigeon this wheat this fruit I can't bring that and listen to me I can't explain to the priest listen what had happened I know I know I know the I know he's got part of his hair gone I know the the fruit's rotten listen the wings busted I know but it's the best I got and the Judgment says no no can can I help somebody I'm done there was a time in Biblical history that there were less and less

Farmers it's it's like modern time less and less fields and all that but you were still required to bring to the temple sacrifice we all Acclaim this story to be that Jesus came into the temple and he found money changers money changers are doing something you would come you don't have an animal you would buy one and because you bought it in the temple it was considered to be holy by them Jesus came in and he saw this going on listen

to me at one point this is interesting part of history for those history guys at one point brother Rob the money changers would bring animals in for you to buy listen to me and they would paint them the hide the animal because there was a blemish they would take a chemical and they'd say there you go as a good sheep ignore the stint on his leg it's okay they they they would take animals and they would try to doctor them up

because it's what they had and they just figured as long as they made it to the temple it was sufficient and Jesus walks in and what does he say you have made this place a den of Thieves but my house will be called House of pray a House of Prayer why because if if you ever come to my house you better be crying to me lifting your voice to me lifting your praise to me and we get all tied up and

we righteously indign ourselves by saying even Jesus got mad and turned over the tables and had a whip and beat everybody that's not what that means at all Jesus was demonstrating an example to those there I hate this you're coming to the temple and you're not even praying come on so today is there anybody in this house that God has worked in your life he has changed he has done a miracle in your life if there if you're here today would

you be willing to be an example today and come to an altar and let God see the honesty and the clarity of your heart to say Lord I'm not bringing the pretty stuff I've gotten the leev out I've gotten rid of all of that but the fact is as I'm coming to you with praise and with the sacrifice that says Lord you're worthy of all and more you are glorious and you are excellent and this altar is not a place for

a beauty show this altar is not a place for me to Simply come and and to look like Lord but I'm coming today and Lord if you got to put snot on if you got if I got to cry if I got whatever it is God I'm honestly coming to you why because I need to be renewed thank you Jesus thank you BL out my transgressions don't look at all my mess up under just can you renew me oh come on

somebody can you renew me can you renew me God can can you renew me Lord can you make me again right oh come on somebody's hungry today for God somebody's tired of playing the game somebody don't want to go through the motions anymore you're looking for Pure undefiled worship and adoration to the God of all of creation come on somebody yeah I need you Lord I need you Lord I need you Jes come on somebody Lord I know that you will

come on come on you know the Lord's doing a work in your life Jesus Jesus Jesus I Need You Lord I Trust You Lord oh that's right the spirit of the Lord can do the work Jesus Jesus thank you Jesus Jesus Jesus great is your faithfulness your loving kindness is greater than life your mercy Lord never fails it's new every day you are longsuffering toward us oh you are hey yeah Jesus I love you Lord come on if God's been good

to you lift a hand and just love him for that I thank you Lord come on love him for that Lord you've been good to me Lord you've been gracious to me you've been faithful to me Jesus you've been faithful to me Lord Great Is Thy Faithfulness oh god oh aren't you glad you know him part of this prayer that part of the prayer that David prayed did you notice he says restore unto me the joy of thy salvation uphold me

with thy free spirit the next phrase says simply this then will I teach transgressors thy ways because then my testimony says Look What the Lord Has Done done look how good God's been he can do the same for you he can work in your life he's a holy God he's a wonderful s come on that's what your testimony says amen I'm so thankful that you came to the house of the Lord today I'm so thankful for the blessings of God in

your life
