Summary
Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.
Session Three at the Altar: Recap of Atonement
- Opens session three on the altar: the bronze box, seven and a half by seven and a half by four and a half feet, wood overlaid with bronze, the first stop after passing through the veil into the tabernacle.
- The altar was a place of death — bloody and messy, with fire burning on it; priests poured the blood of the sacrifices onto its four horns, and rams, lambs, turtle doves, and pigeons were placed on it for sin and guilt offerings.
- Recaps the earlier sessions: the purpose of the altar, and atonement, meaning "at one with, in harmony with" — when man transgressed the law, knowingly or not, he fell out of harmony with God and had to be brought back.
- Sin was the separating factor: without atonement God could not draw close or work with humanity, and one day a year, the day of atonement, brought the whole camp back into unity with God.
Consecration Defined: Made Sacred and Set Apart
- Tonight's subject is consecration: by definition, to make or declare sacred, to devote or dedicate to some service.
- Sacred, consecration, and sanctification are nearly synonymous, and what is sacred is treated carefully, reverently, respectfully, with honor — held close and treasured.
- Tabernacle utensils were set apart for one use only: the tongs, flesh hooks, and bowls used for the things of God could never be interchanged with household items.
- Because human nature struggles to honor God consistently, God knew people would sin and transgress, sometimes without even being aware of it, and would have to sanctify and consecrate again what had been transgressed.
Exodus 19: A Peculiar Treasure
- Has Exodus chapter 19 read aloud, verses 1 through 6, then returns to verse 5: if you will obey my voice indeed and keep my covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure.
- Notes that God did not say "peculiar people" but "peculiar treasure" — peculiar means different, unique, set apart, not merely strange.
- The promise is conditional on two things: obeying what God says and keeping the covenant connection with him.
- Those who meet the set-apart person will not ask whether they are peculiar — they will state it, as the woman at the well recognized by Jesus's words that he was not supposed to be talking to her.
Scriptures: Exodus 19; Exodus 19:5
Holiness Is Work, and Jesus Fulfilled the Law
- The tabernacle study matters for today because Jesus came to fulfill the law — to put skin and bones on it — and in him dwells all the fullness of the godhead bodily.
- This generation wants everything quickly and easily, but no one falls out of bed holy; consecration, atonement, and sanctification are a lot of work — illustrated by the story of Lauren as a little girl whose balloon went up: she didn't drop it down, she dropped it up.
- There was no other place on earth where sanctification could happen but at that altar; if something did not die there, the transgression remained.
- Believers now present themselves as the sacrifice, because Jesus became the sacrifice; to forget what he has done is to no longer be consecrated, atoned, and set apart.
Every Sacrifice Made the Bringer Sacred
- Every gift or sacrifice brought to the altar — dedication or grain offering, peace offering, or the burnt offering that required blood — represented somebody making themselves sacred before God.
- The offerer took it seriously: the lamb was set aside two weeks ahead and made sure it was right, because without the sacrifice he would die in his sin and be left out of the heritage God had for him.
- At the altar the priest inquired what the sacrifice was for; the first principle was free will — the offerer had to know the law, search his own heart, and decide what he could do.
- Choosing wrongly, or lying to the priest about bringing the best, did not deceive God, who looked at the heart of the one standing there.
Leviticus 1: The Offerer Kills His Own Sacrifice
- Reads Leviticus chapter 1: an offering of the herd or flock must be a male without blemish, offered of the man's own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle.
- The offerer put his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it was accepted for him to make atonement for him.
- Stresses that the man himself killed the bullock, not the priest — the priest could not make the sacrifice for him, but took the voluntary offering forward from that point.
- The priests sprinkled the blood around the altar, flayed and cut the offering into pieces, laid the parts, head, and fat in order on the wood and fire, washed the inwards and legs, and burned it all as an offering made by fire, a sweet savor unto the Lord.
- A sheep or goat was killed on the north side of the altar; the generation that finds this hard to hear must face how serious it was — a family's life depended on doing it right.
Scriptures: Leviticus 1
The Turtle Dove: The Priest Stands in Your Place
- For fowl offerings — turtle doves or young pigeons — the priest did the work: he wrung off the head, burned it on the altar, drained the blood at the side, plucked away the crop and feathers by the place of the ashes, and cleaved the wings without dividing it.
- Explains who brought turtle doves and pigeons: the poor and widows, those who could not afford the other offerings.
- Where there was no man to represent his family at the door of the tabernacle to bring and kill the sacrifice, the priest would stand in his place — God makes a way, and whosoever will can come.
- A cattle, lamb, or goat sacrifice equaled that of a turtle dove, as long as the one bringing it obeyed the law to please him.
Attitude Determines Acceptance: What Is Your Best?
- Standing at the altar with a lamb or with a turtle dove carries the same value in God's eyes if you obeyed; the prettiest lamb brought with a wrong heart or wrong reason will not be accepted.
- Every sacrifice required the bringer to search his heart under free will, knowing he was guilty of the trespass, whether he knew where it fell in the scope or not.
- Uses the temple offering story: the disciples admired the smooth, well-dressed man whose wads of bills hit the plate, but Jesus pointed to the little old lady whose two small coins went "tink tink" — of your substance, of who you are, is what counts.
- Assigns the week's journal question: how do you determine your best? It has nothing to do with stature, bank account, or what is in your wallet; it has one hundred percent to do with your attitude toward what you have.
Right Position Today: Jesus Became the Sacrifice
- Sums up the lesson: atonement means at one with; consecration means sanctified, clean, in right standing and right position with God — and the church in this world desperately needs to be in right position.
- Previews next month, when Brother Sam takes up the laver of water, whose sole purpose was washing the ash, blood, and filth off the priest and the priest's portion of the sacrifice.
- Motive matters: the heart must be set in a place where God can take what you have done and bless and multiply it.
- There is no longer that altar to sacrifice on, but Jesus Christ became the sacrifice; every time you pray, call on his name, or plead his blood, you invoke the power of the altar.
- Closes in prayer, thanking the Lord for the power of the altar and that his people are atoned and consecrated for his sacred use, at one with him because of an altar in their lives.

all right we're going to get into our session number three uh see if I can stay on track tonight at least a little bit we are in our third four lesson next week will be our final on this this particular topic the altar um we'll continue tonight looking into the largest piece of furniture in the Tabernacle was this bronze box quickly how big was it how many keep going 7 and 1/2 by 7 and 1/2 by 4 and 1/2 very good so then it is the bronze box it was wood overlaid with bronze uh the first stop that you would make once you passed through the veil the curtain the separation if you will from the outside inside also we've discovered through our study that uh it was a place of death real bloody and messy real real messy fire burned there and the reason
fire burned in the altar was it had a job to do I mean that's the whole purpose in the altar was for fire okay uh the priest would pour blood of the animal sacrifices onto the Four Corners the horns of the box if you will it would be dripping with blood it would be um quite a sight to behold the Rams the heers the Lambs the turtle does the pigeons whatever sacrifice was required for the sin or the guilt offering they would bring that in and it would be placed on that altar not a lovely sight how many would think that'd be a neat job to have yeah not not so much not so much but the journey to sanctification with the Lord started there okay so now last week if you couple weeks ago we talked the purpose of the altar How It Was
Made what it was doing and so forth and then we went into atonement last week we talked about what does it mean what's the word atonement mean at one with in harmony with so when man transgressed the law when man went against or something whatever whether he knew it or didn't know it whether he was cognizant or not he would be out of harmony with God and the requirement was to atone themselves bring themselves back at once with God and so that was called the altar of atonement we also mentioned just for a side note last week that there was one day a year that was called the day of atonement and that's where the whole Camp was brought back into harmony into Unity with God now um bless you when when the transgressions against the law of God something happened and God would no
longer allow himself to be close to humanity sin was the separating Factor Disobedience to the law was called a transgression so the atonement was necessary to realign themselves with the things that God desired to do with them otherwise God couldn't get to them his his if I may his His blessings would stay he would not be able to work with them because sin had entered the scene another reason tonight what I want to talk about is not only atonement was made there but another reason for the sacrifices on the altar was for consecration that's what we're going to talk a little bit about tonight consecration write that in your Journal consecration by its definition is to make or declare sacred to devote or dedicate to some service consecration to make or declare sacred so when you when you hear the word sacred it can also
in many applications be changed out with consecrate consecration sacred sanctification those two words are almost synonymous you can kind of use them if you want to now when something is sacred how do you treat something that's sacred with what care okay carefully we'll take what else how do you treat something that is sacred carefully what else reverently what else respectfully what else honor yeah what else carefully okay what else if something is sacred holy yeah you hold it close post you treasure it that all right in many religions if you will around the world they have what's called sacrements and those are pieces of furniture pieces of gold pieces of things that they use for Sacrament and that in of itself is because they are considered to them to be sacred because they set them apart for a particular use okay point of reference you
could not use your tongs at home that you flip barbecue with in the Tabernacle you didn't have time to wash off the Willing hams that's barbecue for us understand I'm saying it had to be solely and purposefully for one reason and that was for the things of God you could not interchange you could not say you know what this is no big deal I'll grab this flesh hook and use it or I'll grab this bowl and use it that's not at all that was not at all allowed so if we do then as you guys said honor we respect we hold carefully um we we we cherish treasure it then I I believe that when God established his plan with Humanity he knew that by human nature we would have a difficult time consistently and intentionally honoring him in all the things that we've done
that's why he knew that there would be an occasion that they would sin and really not even be aware of it or they would transgress one of the laws and and really not even know that they did it in fact we read last week a part of that in that when when when they had done something they would have to just in case if they became cognizant of a situation they would have to again do the sacrifice if they didn't even know that there was a curse involved they would go and do the sacrifice why because God knew if I G ready 2025 if you give him an inch there in where is where that term begins God created all things for his glory if that's the case then when Humanity brings sin or transgression or guilt into the picture somehow some way you have
to sanctify you have to consecrate one more time that that has been transgressed the act of making things holy to God Exodus chapter 19 let's go here quickly Exodus chapter 19 is there somebody with a great big old loud voice that could Exodus chapter 19 verse 1 through I tell you to stop somebody begin please if you don't mind anybody Exodus 9 19 write this in your Journal Exodus 19 verse1 go ahead see I said great big old see you thank you Lord go ahead keep going keep going anyone please verse three keep going verse five verse six thank you now therefore verse five can you put verse five back up please therefore notice the writing here read this if you will obey my voice indeed in other words without question keep keep my Covenant then you shall be a a what H doesn't even
call them A peculiar people it calls them A peculiar treasure I wonder why anyone what do you think okay could he that said it's a treasure why didn't then God simply say to Moses I will make you you'll become that peculiar people okay what else very good what else what's the if if if he would have said I'll make you a peculiar people everything about their Humanity would Encompass what God was doing because it's associated with people the term but instead I'm going to make you a peculiar treasure now peculiar somebody help me here 2025 peculiar what's that mean weird no it's not weird what's it mean peculiar different what else not so much what we call strange unique what else different we take it the whole point here is this if if you will obey my voice do what I tell you to do
there you go there's your there's there's your two things then you're going to be weird no then there's something that I'm going to do in you and everybody that meets you will say aren't you peculiar listen it will not be a question aren't you peculiar it will be a statement aren't you set aside Ready New Testament lady at the well why are you talking to me I know by what you're saying that you're not supposed to be talking to me why because you're peculiar you're set apart you hear it so you're going to be there's going to be a covenant there's going to be a connection a promise that I will make with you if you'll obey what I'm telling you to do I will make you a set aart treasure listen carefully Church listen please we are talking in the Wednesday night midweek service
midweek University every Wednesday night we are spending time at different parts of the Tabernacle all right are we learning something listen to me when we talk about the Tabernacle Old Testament we know per the words of Jesus you got this law but today I've come to fulfill this law I came to put Skin and Bones on the law you with me I came today to make all the law that you've been following for all the generations to come together to where it makes sense if that's the case then when you understand that Walking With Jesus is an incredibly wonderful blessing miraculous in the fact that Jesus would even love you or love me listen when you know that he fulfilled all of the law the prophets everything that then it's easy for us to understand in him dwells all the fullness of the godhead bodily
in him is everything now here the reason that's important listen carefully is because we live in a generation that we want it very quickly that does new we want it very easy and for us to have to consecrate something or atone ourselves or sanctify ourselves or any of those things guys it's a lot of work yeah contrary to popular understanding and belief in our world you don't fall out of bed holy W look how holy I am you probably would have fell up anyway that's a side note like when Lauren was a little girl she her balloon her hot air balloon went up she look I dropped my balloon up how else would you explain it she didn't drop it down we all went well that's what it is okay for the people of God listen for the people of God this br box this
altar listen to me there was no none zero n no other place on planet Earth where sanctification could happen but there if something did not die the transgression would remain it had to be done at that altar don't think for a minute that it's just something that that kind of was there and it was cool and it only worked for them no we are learning lessons that even in our generation in our if we don't have an altar to where sacrifice can be made huh what does it talk about presenting yourself a what wait a minute I thought sacrifices were supposed to die it did you are complete in him so when he became sacrifice he said I'll do this for you but if if you ever forget what I've done for you you are no longer consecrated atoned set apart peculiar that's why I
believe it's so important that if we'll understand the reasoning and how it was done and and this is the mechanical part of it huh this is the nuts and bolts if you will of all this of course in our day we've already established this back in January thank thanks be to God y'all aren't Dragon sheeps and and goats and turtle doves and does anybody here know what a pigeon is some of y'all be walking around I don't even know what I'm supposed to bring was the pigeon trying to look for a picture or something don't act like you'd have it to Turtle anybody know what a turtle dove is can anybody hear even heave that's a heave offering you see I'm saying we would be robbed brother Rob we'd be so messed up people walking we'd have all kind of stuff coming in and you
know that's a chicken that is not a turtle du who brought the goose you know I mean am I right who cooked the goose listen to me every time a gift or sacrifice was brought this is such a cool point about the Altar and consecration ction every single time that a gift or a sacrifice was brought it represented somebody making themselves sacred before God it wasn't simply something that was a cool idea but they took it serious enough to say you know what if I don't get this sacrifice there I will die in my sin I refuse to be left out of the Heritage that God has for us us sacrifice of dedication meal or grain sacrifice of Peace sacrifice of burnt offering which required blood listen the purpose of every one of these offerings brought to the altar was to make the one bringing
them to be Sanctified and consecrated before God one one of the coolest things about this and you guys probably know this but I want to spend a moment here on if there was something sin or guilt that you had TR trespass against the law of God keep in mind there's a whole bunch of different ways that sacrifices were done first fruits peace offering wave offering heave offering okay all kinds of different ones but when we get to the altar when blood had to be shed for sin or guilt okay do you realize dad that your job would be two weeks prior I talk talked about this a little bit last week you'd set that lamb aside or that P Turtle whatever it was you'd set it aside you'd make sure it was right you'd bring it to the Tabernacle and when you're your turn it
became your turn to walk in you would come in actually to the front of the Altar and the priest would meet you there and the priest would inquire what is this for why did you bring this lamb why did you bring this PE this turtle dove why did you bring this goat whatever it was what you you had to decide that it was your you knew the law and the first the first principle of the sacrifice was what we talked about it two weeks ago your free will you had to decide what you would and could do it wasn't that okay A B CDE e f g flip a coin roll the spin the throw the dice no that's not what it was you knew if it was a sin offering I have to do this and I have to search my heart to decide
the best that I can do listen to me if you chose wrong what would happen if you did not have the right proper motive and attitude when you got to that altar what would the priest ask you did you do what the law requires for your sacrifice now you stood right there in front of him and you could lie yes sir oh yeah boy it's number one best one I got and if you know you're lying guess who just looked at your heart you see how you see how serious this was Leviticus let me let me let me show you something this is so cool Leviticus chapter 1 this is the very beginning of the levitical law now this is going to be some kind of reading y'all okay reading is this okay I got 7:25 I got plenty of time we're to read all
of Leviticus you guys get your Bible reading in today right Leviticus 1 one the Lord called to Moses spake unto him out of the t write this down right of the Tabernacle of the congregation saying Speak unto the children of Israel say unto them if any man of you bring an offering unto the Lord Ye Ye ye shall bring your offering of the cattle even of the herd and of the flock if his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd let him offer a male without blemish he shall offer off it of his own voluntary will at the door of the Tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord listen to this you ready for it you probably knew this but if not I'm going to share this with you he shall put verse four his hand upon the head of the burnt offering and
it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him he sh he he the man the dad the husband he shall what shall kill the bulock before the Lord and priest Aon and Son shall bring the blood and sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that is by the door of the Tabernacle of the congregation the man will kill the animal not the priest brother Daniel you would have to knife it cut its throat they would capture in the blood Bowl the blood and then once that part was listen to me the coolest thing the neatest thing about this bit of information is is the priest didn't kill it for you he could not make the sacrifice for you he could take your voluntary response to the things of God that you brought and that you killed and then from that point he
would move it forward huh that said number six he shall fle the burnt offering cut it into his pieces and the sons of Aaron and the priest shall put fire upon the altar lay the wood in order the fire the priest Aaron son shall lay the parts the head the fat and Order upon the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar the inwards and his legs shall wash in water the priest shall burn all on the altar to be a burnt sacrifice an offering made by fire of a sweet savior unto the Lord look number 10 and if his offering me of the flocks namely the sheep or the goats or burn for a burnt offering he shall bring it male without blemish what you say verse 11 he shall kill it the dad kills it the husband takes its life
for burnt sacrifice shall bring it male without blemish he shall kill it on the side of the AL side of the altar northward before the Lord if you bring a lamb you now take up a different position the altars here if you got a cow you bring it put it here a heer but if it's you go to the other side if it's a lamb but you have to do the killing pastor we don't like talking about this stuff because it makes us squeezy it makes squirm it's just I'm gonna help somebody now I'm not being mean I'm just simply telling you we live in a generation that thinks that you could live for Jesus easy and halfhearted and just kind of go through the motion and everybody's supposed to accept you as that in that day you couldn't puke and cut the throat of
a animal you would defile the Tabernacle you understand what I'm saying what are you saying you're saying everybody had to be brutes no everybody had to be conscious of the fact my family's going to die if I don't do this right stay with me shall kill on side of the altar northward before the Lord the priest Aaron son shall sprinkle the blood roundout upon the altar he shall cut it into pieces with the head of his fat the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar verse 13 but he shall wash the inwards and the legs with water and the priest shall bring it and burn it upon the altar it is a burnt sacrifice an offering made by fire of a sweet Savor unto the Lord listen to this if the number 14
if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to the Lord be a fou then he shall bring his offering of the turtle doves and of young pigeons listen and the priest shall bring it to the Altar and what is it ring off his neck the priest will do that this is so cool this is so incredibly cool shall ring its head burn it on the altar the blood thereof shall be rung out of the side of the Altar and he shall pluck away the crop of his feathers and cast it beside the altar on the East part by the place of the ashes he shall cleave it with the wings thereof but shall not divide it aund the other animals what does he do he takes the head he takes the fat and it goes to one part he takes the Flesh and it goes to
another part but when it comes to the pigeon of the turtle dove when it comes to these fowls the priest would have to separate it pull the feathers just to the point where he could ring the neck and then he would set it with the ashes this does not go on the fire this goes by the side of the altar to where it be carried out when the ash ashes are carried out verse 17 shall cleave it with the wings thereof but shall not divide a son of the priest shall burn it upon the altar upon the wood that is upon the altar the burnt offering an offering made by fire sweet Savor unto the Lord what I just read to you guys this was the levitical law this is Leviticus 1 verse number one and what we read here is God gives Specific Instructions
to the people so that they would understand what their responsibility was okay why is it then that when he brought the cattle or when you brought a lamb goat that you had to kill it but when it came to a pigeon or a turtle dove the priest did it's a question anybody back up last week we talked about who brings Turtle does and pigeons poor Widow those who could not afford others so in the case in the case that there's not a man to represent his family at the door of the Tabernacle to bring in the sacrifice and kill it the priest would stand in its place we live in a generation that a lot of families are busted up for whatever reason don't you ever forget ladies the priest will stand in your place that's not me okay understand that can I I'm I'm
not I'm I'm not offending nobody I'm telling you God makes a way do not God help me stay on track you got to understand something the sacrifice of a cattle a lamb a goat equal that of a turtle dove as long as you did what obeyed the law followed it to please him one of the greatest challenges that we have in our century and our and in my opinion as a pastor that I have faced is when somebody says but Pastor I'm by myself I don't have I don't and I I get it does that mean mine's not accepted does that mean that I have to learn how to Slit the throat of the sheep and I these are very very good questions and I simply am reminding Us by the law that God gave them there I make a provision for that why is
that important because whosoever will can come and there's a way there's a way there's a way consecration when we seek for the atonement at one with consecration sanctification if you will from the trespasses that we have done the transgressions that we have done listen to me we then have to check our attitudes okay if you're standing next to me behind me with me doesn't matter and you're standing there with a lamb and I'm standing here with a turtle dove which one of these has more value in the eyes of God as long as you've obeyed it's the same why is this important because the attitude of which by which you bring your sacrifice changes everything you do realize that you can bring the prettiest lamb but if your heart is in the wrong place or you're doing it for the wrong reason it will not
be accepted the motivation has to be here listen to me by the law your motivation simply has to be this I know that I am guilty of this trespass I don't know know if I'm guilty of this trespass you can read it I know that I've transgressed the law and sin has entered I'm guilty I know that I don't know where this falls in the scope every single one of these though requires what search your heart and under free will you bring your sacrifice the beauty of the altar the bronze box if you will number one the beauty of it was you were atoned and Sanctified consecrated you were cleaned at that place things began to unfold 2025 we now have what is called salvation through sanctification by how we approach Jesus Christ do not let this world trick you there are some that would
say ain't We All God's Children we're all going to go to heaven why is that a lie because you have to obey what else you have to follow what he's told you to do you can't just simply wake up and everything be right this was costly do you realize that when you find the love of Jesus working in your life it's costly do you know what it cost it cost him but who for the joy endured the cross oh come on he said I I'm not happy running to this in fact I I begged in the garden for this cup to pass by but at the end of it he said what nevertheless the will of the heart said I've got to do it the way you want me to I've got to accomplish this how you want me to accomplish it so when we're
looking at sanctification we're looking at consecration things that are made sacred added ude makes all of the difference in the world anybody ever brought an offering to the Lord hateful huh wasn't that fun mad all the whole time I can't wait I took up all that money I was I was going to buy boat with that I don't even believe whatever you know can't believe they now yeah okay yeah go home then you're going to be nice and blessed huh yeah you're going to be so joyful huh come on we y'all know what I'm talking I'm trying to watch my clock y'all know what I'm talking about well I went to church and all they talk about is money want me to give bless His holy name so I gave I put I did I did I know I know they didn't give as much
as I did I can tell by looking at them but come on how many you know the blessing is going to come with that I once heard my old Pastor used to say all the time you know anybody can bring an offering unto the Lord anybody can bring it it doesn't matter what it is he'll take whatever you got he man I bless you for it because you know the age-old question what if I played the lottery if I played the lottery pth then I'd win a million and out okay he'll take Lottery money too now he won't bless you you see what I'm saying the point is this motive and your tent matters why do you think Jesus stood there oh God help me today why do you think Jesus stood that day in the in the church house the temple and said hey
come here guys you see this they're lined up to give offering you see them look at that dude right there look at him he's walked in yeah don't he look nice he's all smooth he's got it all together his robes pressed got that yeah got that hat going on look he even got a Swagger yeah you hear his money hit the plate poof them is wads bills poof remember that's a story whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa hold on hold on they're all stand going yeah I mean come on we'd be the same you look up there and this little old lady can barely move shuffled along with her feet and she goes tinktink and they're all going and Jesus then just turns at him and he says what which one gave more and he looks at him they're like well the guy look at the
water of money he just dropped in the plate man that a mean nothing to me what means something to you of your substance you give of who you are you give imagine those disciples that day Jesus drops this lesson on him and he walks away and they're standing there going how much money you got oh two three four five what's the big one again that's a quarter 79 cents how much you got I mean honest two mes would have been how much like 4 cents I think it is through translation I saw a thing the other day he said you could take a copper or Penny today drill a hole in it use it as a washer CU it's cheaper than buying a 17 Cent washer at theore store I said well now there you go fundraiser man I ain't drilling holes through all them
pennies list tell me here's the point if you come with the right attitude and the right condition in your heart out of everything you have listen to me you have done the very best so my question and I'm I'm I'm bringing the landing gear out how does one determine their best write that in your Journal would you how do you determine your best sister Christian you have a pen brother Rob do you have a pen sister Keela about to hurt herself trying to get that pen to work oh you got it okay oh you do have a question okay give me one second how how do you determine what is your best this week then spend before next week spend spend a minute or two Lord how how do I know I brought my best it has nothing listen to me has nothing to do
with stature has nothing to do with how wide or how big your bank account is has nothing to do with how much is in your wallet right now it has nothing to do with any substance you have it has 100% to do with your attitude towards what you have sister Kela do I dare let you ask a question okay did you got it you want to answer yes ma'am okay there you go that's something for you to look up MIT T MIT T there you go so here we are brother dra you can come listen to me carefully atonement at one with consecration Sanctified Sanctified clean in right standing with God incorrect position to God guys more than ever before in our world we desperately need the church to be in right position you understand that next month Brother Sam is going to pick up
Tabernacle only reason I'm mentioning that is because next month he's going to go to the labor of water man that's a whole another animal but it ain't near as big as the altar okay but its sole purpose was for washing listen the Ash the blood the guts the snot off of who the priest and what else the portion of the sacrifice that was given to the priest at the labor nasty nasty water that that was the water pot you wouldn't dip your bowl into and sip from hold on y'all I'm thirsty okay whether it was the goat the Sheep the cow the turtle do the pigeon everything that was required to be burned you had to bring with the right attitude and motive motive matters have you ever heard Pastor say that motive matters and you have to set your motive and your heart to
a place to where God can take what you've done and he can bless it and multiply it 2025 I've say I'll say it again we don't we no longer have that altar to sacrifice on but what we do have though is we have the Lord Jesus Christ who became for you and I the sacrifice so listen every time you pray every time you call on the name of Jesus every time you plead the blood of Jesus what you are doing is you are saying I am now invoking the power of the all alar because Jesus became My Sacrifice stand with me please the power of the altar in the Tabernacle was so incredibly overwhelming imagine if you will somebody from another tribe coming through their Camp smelling all of that smell coming up off of that Altar and then you got to explain to him
why huh side note for those who are Bible scholars and you've got extra time on your hand go do a study on Molech m o e c m o l e c h Mo was a false god an idol they used to do the same type thing for him but everything given to him was to try to please him and gain his favor only with God you don't have to gain that this is what I am this is who I am do this there next week come back we're going to talk a little deeper into the alter I don't want to give it away we'll finish up strong I hope this whole year guys I I am so thrilled about studying this because I feel like that if we'll understand truly what God's intention was was for his people then we can truly understand what
