Summary
Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.
Welcome, Opening Prayer, and the Ecclesia Year
- He greets the growing Wednesday-night crowd, with other sessions meeting in the conference room and classrooms, and leads a brief stomp of feet, borrowing his young granddaughter's line.
- His opening prayer thanks God for the day, His protection, and His provision, and asks Him to bless the study, let His light shine on the class, and give wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.
- He declares that they are the church of the hour and invites the class to date their journals March 26.
- The year 2025 is given to 'Ecclesia' — studying how the church functions — and the pastors plan to gather the year's Sunday messages on the Tabernacle into a printed book, so the notes taken tonight become part of each student's own record.
The March Recap: The Building, Atonement, and Consecration
- Week one covered the building: God gave Moses what the builders and engineers needed to construct the Tabernacle, the place where God would spend time with His people.
- The altar is the biggest piece of furniture in the Tabernacle, the first piece seen on passing through the door, and it burns constantly.
- Week two covered atonement: the altar's purpose is to make man at one with God — back in harmony and unity with Him — and God Himself provided the animals and the instructions for it.
- Week three covered consecration: God required cleanliness, purification, and separation from sin, and the altar's covenant was for the children of Israel, with wave offerings and heave offerings serving alongside the blood sacrifices.
- He directs the class to journal what they have learned about the altar, insisting that if we cannot understand why God gave the altar, we will not understand why Jesus came to fulfill the law.
Leviticus 6:13 — The Fire Shall Never Go Out
- Tonight closes the Book of Leviticus lessons; the text is read aloud: the fire on the altar shall never go out.
- The law was given to Aaron and the priesthood for communication, commitment, and consecration between a holy God and sinful man; being born a child of the nation of Israel did not by itself put a person in covenant with God.
- He presses the practical problem: keeping a fire burning perpetually in a desert with no visible supply of wood or oil shows that God knew what He was doing.
- Fire runs through the scriptures as God's instrument and presence: the burning bush seized Moses' attention, the pillar of fire led Israel on its journeys, fire destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, and fire fell on the prophet's altar before the false prophets of Baal.
Scriptures: Leviticus 6:13
Leviticus 9 — Aaron's Offerings and the Glory Appears
- The chapter is read: on the eighth day Moses prescribes Aaron's sin offering and burnt offering, and the people's sin offering, burnt offering, and peace offerings, with the promise that today the Lord will appear.
- Ordinarily the householder slit the animal's throat and the priest caught the blood, but here God has Aaron and his sons perform the process themselves so the priesthood learns it first and can then require it of everyone else.
- Aaron offers the sacrifices and blesses the people; then Moses and Aaron go into the Tabernacle, come out, and bless the people, and the glory of the Lord appears to all the people.
- Fire comes out from before the Lord and consumes the burnt offering and the fat on the altar; the people shout and fall on their faces — which he identifies as true worship: I decrease, You increase.
Scriptures: Leviticus 9
Expectation, Pride, and What the Fire Changes
- The people did not come hoping for a mere sudden insight; Moses had said the Lord would show up that day, and they came fully expecting Him, because God had supplied both the materials and the skilled workers and promised to appear if they followed His steps.
- A tradition he cites pictures the vast crowds packed shoulder to shoulder around the Tabernacle, yet still able to fall flat on their faces before the Lord when the trumpet sounded.
- Pride is the obstacle: laying your face on the ground among the animals and the crowd's feet is offensive to pride, yet God stood ready to wipe away every sin — our pride can send us to hell.
- Whatever was exposed to the altar was holy, and whatever was exposed to the fire was forever changed, reduced to ash and no longer recognizable.
- He points the class to journal what the ashes taken out of the altar represented, and teaches that the blood carried the power: poured on the horns, it showed power; on the ground before the altar, it evidenced the sacrifice; splattered inside and outside, it showed the sacrifice consummated and consumed.
Acts 2 — Fire, Atonement, and Jesus Our Sacrifice
- Sin puts a wall between us and God so that He cannot be heard; atonement removes the separation and puts us back in harmony and communication with Him.
- The Acts 2 account is read: on the day of Pentecost they were all in one accord in one place when a sound from heaven like a rushing mighty wind filled the house, and cloven tongues like fire sat on every one of them.
- The fire at Pentecost was the confirmation that power had fallen: with fire there is atonement, and their sacrifices of worship and praise were seen and received by God.
- The only way to know salvation has come is the sacrifice of the Lamb slain for us: Jesus became our sacrifice on an altar, paying the price for our sin, guilt, and shame, just as the fire consuming the offering was the only proof an Israelite's sacrifice was accepted.
Scriptures: Acts 2
Redeemed by the Blood — No Easier Way
- He testifies that we need the fire of the Holy Ghost now more than ever, convinced that many sicknesses and mental, emotional, and financial troubles would be settled in moments if we would climb onto the altar and let God change us.
- The determining difference between religions is the name of Jesus and the blood of Jesus; people prefer an easier way of their own making, but God's way stands.
- The altar was on purpose, not accidental: God knew exactly what He was doing, and the first thing seen through the Tabernacle door is death — what is not killed at the altar gets dragged around forever in regret and condemnation, but at the altar it can be laid down.
Carry the Journal Forward — and Thank Him for the Altar
- Next Wednesday, Brother Sam takes up the next piece of Tabernacle furniture, the laver of water, for the month of April; no piece can be bypassed on the way to the mercy seat, and the journey must start at the front, at the altar.
- He urges the class to fill their journals, because a journal handed down to a son, daughter, or grandchild testifies that what was written was worth the investment.
- The lesson closes in prayer and thanksgiving for the altar — for a place of sacrifice, fellowship, and relationship with God — and for the word of God, which is life, a lamp, power, and sharp to define and separate.
- He ends by leading them to love and thank the Lord together before they transition into the worship songs.

when I teach or preach I like to give points of reference so you can make notes hopefully you'll go back and read it to uh just reemphasize at the end of the year we'll transition to another theme or topic next year but we will take all of 50 whatever messages that the three of us pastors preach on on Sundays
and we're going to run that through a Helper and we're going to print a book on the Tabernacle that's our plan and so hopefully the notes you take you can add to that because they're your notes that's what God says to you amen I do honor you all for being here if you're joined us online we're welcoming you into
our study tonight uh we will use the Bible if you've got one good idea to get it out um tonight of course for Wednesday nights in the month of March we will close out this series of sessions the first week if you'll remember just a kind of an overview we talked about how that God gave to the Architects if
you will the builders the engineers uh to Moses he gave to Moses what they needed to do in order to build the Tabernacle this was going to be a place where God would spend time with his people all right uh so that first week we talked about that of course this is our model that we're using throughout the year
the altar is the biggest piece of furniture in the Tabernacle all right uh bronze that's covered shyam wood or AO wood whichever you want to call it and uh it burns constantly it's always on fire it's the largest piece uh it has a specific purpose it's also the first piece of furniture you see when you pass through the door
second week we want we talked about atonement the the actual purpose for the altar is to make one at one with atonement that's what that means at one with back in Harmony in unity with what God desires at one with means God has a plan man sins man's guilty man has issues whatever God says I will atone You by
coming to this altar you will make that right and we'll be back in harmony God even provided the animals that would be needed God even instructed and showed them what to do um all of this was because the altar was needed to make things right between humanity and God then last week of course we went into consecration uh how
that God desired cleanliness purification sanctification God desired and even instructed that you've got to separate yourself from the sin from the guiltiness if you will and you've got to consecrate yourself I will not let anybody come to this altar you've got to be in Harmony in Covenant with God it was for the children of Israel this was not for
the amalekites this was not for for any other tribe this was for the children of Israel so when sacrifices were made blood sacrifices that altar was used there was other types of sacrifices you remember wave offerings heave offerings okay those would have been different things they wouldn't possibly not even touch that altar but they would still serve the purpose
at that altar now in your Journal write this down what have you learned about the Altar and this week while you're praying pause think about it again I am 100% convinced that if we cannot understand why God gave this then we will not understand why Jesus came they they are so connected okay God gave Specific Instructions for a specific
reason and there's only one reason why Jesus would come and say today I've come to fulfill the law what was required through that he was making himself aware so what have you learned about that tonight we're going to continue of course this will be our last lesson in The Book of Leviticus if you have your Bible Leviticus chapter 6
verse 13 write that in your Journal this for future reference Leviticus 6 and13 somebody read that it's a really long verse Leviticus 6: 13 anybody wow now this is if you'll remember the Leviticus this is the levitical law this was God giving to Aaron the priesthood the Levites was the tribe giving them what was required uh if you start
the Book of Leviticus you'll see how that the Tabernacle had been built and then God said now put it together and do this all right so it says here how how often should the fire burn how often shall it be put out you see that do you understand this is there anything about this that's challenging now this might seem
unimportant but the fact that that fire had to keep going come on anybody ever been camping before you wake up middle of the night freezing to death cuz what happened huh anybody know I'm talking about man when my my wife and I had been married long we had a pot belly stove in our house that was how we heated
but I would stock that dude was so full and I went to bed I mean it it solid red it was so hot but long about 400 a.m. I'm back in there and she's allly hurry I'm like you know I'm breaking Furniture apart just trying to joke all right the fire shall never go out everybody say never do you
understand that let's continue the law of God was given of course for the purpose of communication and commitment and consecration between God and man the communication between a holy God and a sinful man God wanted to make sure that there was a relationship made available listen to me not simply because they were the children of Israel were they in
good standing you could be a child from the tribe or from the group the nation of Israel and have sinned or guilt or trespass in your life guess what you were not in Covenant you were not at one with God you were off skew you weren't lined up now keep in mind old test they didn't worry about the place
that you and I are interested in place called Heaven that's a Jesus message I come to prepare a place for you that's Heaven all they're concerned about is the 613 laws so you have to understand that God wanted to make this relationship available the position and the power of the altar you had to know that pleasing God was what
needed to be your utmost importance so why keep the fire constantly burning why not just let it die down why not just let it let there be a reprieve let there be I mean to keep the fire burning what else would you have to have huh wood anybody remember where these guys are every any ever been in the desert
I spent 30 days in Death Valley on when I was in the military man that ain't a tree within 4 billion M like what is the nothing you can shoot a gun in the bullet will never stop it just keep going am I am I am I right right I mean where are they getting this wood where are they
getting this oil to put in the you see what I'm saying God think about this how are they feeding their animals to make sure that they're separated 14 days before they bring them tell me God don't know what he's doing in history fire was used in in many ways listen to me carefully the burning bush anybody ever heard of
that one what happened at the burning bush but what was his purpose yeah God was using the fire to get Moses's attention do you not think for one minute that Moses at the ripe young age at 80 standing there looking at this bush on fire when it's not being consumed that's this fire was not going to somehow someway be
burned into his mind only to find out years later what what else was happening with fire you understand that he's following this Pillar of Fire that's over do you get what I'm saying God knew fire is very important also Sodom and Gomorrah how did it how did it how was it destroyed fire didn't come up from hell huh God's
fire led the children of Israel on all their Journeys you follow the cloud the pillar of cloud you follow the pillar of fire why isn't it this is so cool this is so cool God could have just dropped a yard sign in the yard Arrow but God said this I'm not doing that you're going to see the fire or
you're going to see the result of the fire and you follow that fire has represented God in so many ways in the scriptures from the very beginning the prophet prayed because these 450 plus 400 false prophets of ba were making fun and so he began to make fun and all it took was just a few short words and what
happened to that altar the Fire or the the wood the animal the water what happened to it and what was it that licked it up fire came down you see what I'm saying God understands fire notice here that God instructed the priest listen to this Leviticus chapter 9 Leviticus 9 verse1 it came to pass on the eth day Moses
called Aaron and his sons and the Elders of Israel verse two and he said unto Aaron take thee a young half for a sin offering and a RAM for a burn offering two different animals you got it without blemish and offer them before the Lord and unto the children of Israel Thou shalt speak saying take ye a kid of
the goats for a sin offering that's a baby goat take you a kid of the goats for a sin offering and a calf and a lamb both of the first first year what's it say without blemish for a burnt offering so you got a sin offering going on you got a burnt offering going on verse number four also a
bulock and a ram for peace offerings to sacrifice before the Lord and meat offering mingled with oil what's it say for today the Lord will appear unto you now they got animals everywhere we just read the list bring this one this one this one this one this one this one that one that one that one that one that one
that one that one that one that one that one that one there we're going to make sacrifice today let me ask you the question who is the one that slit the throats of the animals we talked right this last week no it was the husband or the house the chief of the household's job to cut it was the priest's
job to catch the blood and then to go and do what they did say this God though is saying Aaron your turn this is Leviticus 9 this is how hey if I may this is how we're going to get this thing started Aaron you've got to learn how to do this process so get your boys together get your family
here cuz they're going to learn it because they're the priest and once they learn it then they'll know what to require from everyone else God wanted the people to see how to do their sacrifice let me I'm going back up we're in Reverse now you ready if today you knew salvation had to be done by sacrificing an animal how
would you do it just how how I'm not talking about on the grill we I've offered a few burn offerings on the grill before how would what where did you start well I'm I'm I'm asking what's your what's your first thought here goie go go go go get you cute I mean that's what 2025 does right man you got
people with goats in their house and the other day I saw a lady had a horse in her house okay anyway got service animals all over the place we got service pigeons got a little vest on pigs all right say with me where would you start I wouldn't have the first clue brother Rob what even began I understand I
got this great big old nice looking place here that we built it's got gold silver bronze it's got fine linen it's got wood it's got water it's got showbread It's got oil it's got a holy place it's got stuff in it man this is a beautiful place but what do I do do you think for a moment that God
simply said hey Moses figure it out so Moses picked up two dice and not the UNAM and the Thum either throw on okay three no no God said look watch and then I'm going to hold you accountable for this and anytime somebody brings a blood sacrifice you better know how to duplicate what I'm about to explain to you okay
for today I'm going to show up I'm going to appear today if you'll follow this how many wants God to appear in your life but many times we don't want to follow all right can we move forward notice what happens Leviticus 9:2 two Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people blessed them came down from offering of the sin
offering the burn offering and the peace offerings okay remember he's on this this is on a hill on a slight incline here he comes down off of that and comes out all right verse 23 of chapter N9 Moses and Aaron went into the Tabernacle congregation came out blessed the people the glory of the Lord did what appeared unto all
the people verse 24 there came a fire out from before the Lord consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat which when all the people saw it what did they do and so you spent all this time effort energy material of your increase you followed your heart and now what it says look into your heart what you
will and bring that and day in and day out you heard the noise going on you were involved perhaps in gathering the wood or G maybe helping with the linen or maybe helping with Badger skins whatever it was and now I'm going to explain to you how this works so the people after all of the sacrificing and all the
offerings and all the things that they had brought to Moses to make sure they had enough materials to accomplish what God had told Moses to do the Bible says that when Aaron came down he and Moses came out of the Tabernacle and the people are all standing there and the Bible says that the glory of the Lord appeared to
only the priest that what it says to who who everybody body saw the glory of the Lord at that moment the consuming fire of God hit that Altar and the fire that came from the Lord consumed what was there the people saw it and they said woohoo oh that's so good what do it again yeah say again do it
again do it again wait wait ready for watch this no it says what they shouted how do you think they shouted anybody want to try it we're scared to death ain't that funny we're scared to death afraid we might tear something cuz we got that th million dollar voice we're going to be on idol and everything I mean you
don't want to ruin it go you know you you might have been able to sing and one day I used to be able to sing when I was much man I got a preacher voice now I try to sing up here now I'm like Hey listen to me they shouted and they fell on their face what did we study
last year about when you fall on your face before the Lord what is that that is true worship I am small you are big I decrease you increase I disappear you appear they went through all guys you got to understand something my job this month has been to talk about that altar but understanding the value of the sacrifices that
are to be made that were to be made that are going to be made on that box is so important because if the fire of God does not appear it is all in vain you simply have a really neat looking tent I mean am I right why else would you go through all the pains to do this does anybody
know what an epiphany is explain that real real real Southern what's it mean Lauren what okay give a little more depth than that a what yeah a sudden Revel understanding has anybody ever had one of those cheese on eggs what come on somebody she I feel so bad for you cheese on apple pie y'all said I was bad for
putting peanut butter on pancakes oh that's sound good every why pastor always talking about food all right listen to me the Epiphany says wow I I didn't even think of that Bo it just it came to me just showed up it's like Lauren said it's like a light bulb it's like a revelation comes in this particular case listen to
me in this particular case I do not think they were simply waiting on an epiphany they honestly with all of the sacrificing that they had done they came that day 100% expecting the Lord to show up why because Moses said today the Lord's going to show up now I'll ask you this it's not just like a light bulb going
off it's not like just somebody's flipped this and here we go we're did this is it this is all God's plan and God's favor God even gave the wisdom and knowledge and understanding to certain workers in how to do gold or silver or or fine Linens or whatever God gave to them what to use and then he gave to
them how to use it and then at the end of it all he said if you'll do these steps I'll show up now 2 25 we we have a kind of a different mindset in fact I asked just a moment ago somebody shout like they would have shouted everybody sister Mandy will she'll do anything you know do it yeah
that's what I ask you think that's how they did it I don't know was a good example now imagine three million doing that would that not be a loud racket how many would be upset and me it would feel like somebody just got in your space how many I'm trying to watch my clock I've got 48 more pages um
I I told you guys I I love this tourist I love this beginning stuff because it sets the stage for all of eternity what I found is I I I also have a tal that I read and that's basically the the the the rabbis when the Torah was burned and when the ride ings were lost they had to go
verbal and so they verbalized and then the scribes job was to put it back down you with me so I've got one of the towns from the 1950 whatever and I I've set this on my desk because I refer to it a lot especially when we were're doing this Tabernacle he said Do You Realize with the millions of folk
that brought themselves close to the Tabernacle they would have been show shoulder toosh shoulder almost I I just made this depiction because I had to somehow make us in 2025 understand that it looked kind of like this but this would have been chalk full three tribes three tribes three tribes three tribes the Bible goes through and said there was
22,000 and this one that there was 40 thou you know gives all the numbers imagine 40,000 people right there and then the command when you hear the Trump bow before the Lord the talet says the verbal says that they could stand shoulder toosh shoulder and still lay flat on the face before the Lord we don't understand how that happened
we have 165 chairs on the floor in this room it's all we can do to get 120 some of y'all like I can't breathe pastor this is hot here it's got to me folk I see my space I see my space I see bble spread out I got my pocketbook over here I got my blanket over there tell me
I'm lying come on I'm going to show y'all something y'all ready for this is for teaching example only want y'all look over there at that front row front of the sound booth wa buddy now watch this watch this who's is this how did this end up taking up one two y'all understand thank you Lauren thank you AG you understand
what I'm saying imagine the millions of folk gathered in there and it's time to follow your face some of oh Lord help me stay on target some of us would be so offended at that because for you to lay on your face before a holy God the very first thing you're going to smell when you hit the ground is
the neighbor in front of you's feet and you would be so angry and the God of all creation is ready to wipe away every sin in your life but you can't get past the pride tell me I'm lying the animals that were brought to the altar to be sacrificed do you think for one moment that followed a little path
so that all their droppings would be contained come on this ain't 2020 something where they got to have a little B hold on hold on let me get this up hold on I got my baggie here can I no Walmart bags publ food see none of those bags they even have the little neat little roll you tie it up
you know listen to me so they're laying flat of their face before a holy God that's got everything that he could lit literally God could take food out of the heaven Heavens God could say touch the rock watch water flow enough water for all of them and their animals that's the god they served and you want me to feel
bad because when I come to the house of the Lord I'm going to worship and love the Lord I'm going to scream if I have to I'm going to shout dance worship why because I know who I was and where I was headed and I'm no longer that tell me my pride is going to send me to hell ain't
no way Lord I'm going to love you and I'm going to serve you in that day I've come to tell somebody when the glory of God showed up they shouted and they fell on their face because God had fulfilled what he said he would do and that altar was now going to be their salvation atonement consecration it whatever was
exposed to the altar was holy but whatever was exposed to the fire was forever changed because that animal when it hit the fire it became a pile of Ash no longer recognizable as what it was God will change it with fire I wish to God in our day that we would catch on to the fact that we need Holy
Ghost Fire now more than ever before come on I am con y'all y'all be upset if you want but I'm convinced a lot of sicknesses mental issues emotional issues Financial issues would be taken care of in 5 seconds in the fire of God I'm telling you you can qualify and justify it all you want to that you just need
time to get through it and all what you need is three seconds under the spout you need to get up on that altar climb up there Lord do what you got to do to get this gone I need changed I need changed I'm almost out of time in your Journal write this down what do you think the ashes from
the altar burning sacrifices represented the ashes that they pulled out of that altar every day they had to have a place outside the camp that they could destroy or they could take them they me imagine a week of of sacrifices we're not talking about two sacrifices a day I mean the fire is Perpetual it's just constantly there and you
got all these families there they're having to bring sacrifice I I'm I'm just coming to tell you that that's a whole lot of wood wood ash and Bone Ash and animal I mean there's a lot of things going on what do you think that that sacrifice as ashes represented because I I want to tell you that there is power
in the blood of Jesus There Is Power in the Blood of the sacrifice anytime a sacrifice was made it was up to the priest that the Four Corners were called the horns and they were actual according to descriptions they were actual horn looking like a a unicorn horn no a horn it's a for it's a corner piece that's very
distinct because it was there that they would physically pour the oil the the blood and it would run down into the altar last night I was Ethan I was there I grilled steaks at home it's pretty good one day the last thing I do when I'm ready to pull them off is I melt butter and put on top of
it some of y'all having church right now you know what butter does when it falls in the fire and it I need to know God that you accepted this Blood I need didn't know I need to know the power in the altar was the blood that was shed and poured onto the altar it was the completion of the plan
of God for Humanity the blood on the horns of the altar was for power oh listen to this the blood on the ground in front of the altar was the evidence that there was a sacrifice and the blood that was splattered on the inside and the outside of the altar was the evidence that the sacrifice was consummated and consumed
for you they would pour the blood they would pour the blood and the blood would splatter all accounts was the blood and the fire God would accept that and would put them at one with him Aton them he would make sure they understood the value of that okay trying to watch my clock I I can I can speak to
you behind a wall I could step outside the door speak outside and would you hear me unless I had this microphone probably not why because there would be separation that's what sin does can't hear you God God says I need you at one with me how atone atonement now I can talk to you can I throw the New Testament
we okay with New Testament stuff that's the part after the Old Testament Matthew Mark okay Acts chapter two look what happens day of Pentecost fully come all one Accord one place suddenly there came a sound from Heaven as of a rushing Mighty Wind it filled all the house where they were sitting verse three and there appeared unto them what
like what why did fire show up at that point I mean it could have been done a million other ways it could have been done in so many other ways God said are you there yeah L we're here Lord we're here you're not lined up yet they had to get they had to get where one mind what's atonement boom
I'm going to smack you with fire and it's going to sit on you and you're going to burn and there's no way anybody can put it out anybody understand the value of the altar now in that cloven tongues like as a fire sat upon two of them sat upon the preacher on who every one of them's got now this
fire burning why do you think that was necessary because with fire there's atonement and with atonement you're put back in harmony with God fire fell on the day of Pentecost that was the confirmation that power had fallen their sacrifices of worship and praise were being seen by God and were being received by him the weight was over we we
we don't know what to expect but you said to go Terry you said to go wait wait for what to be endued with what how are we going to know how how am I going to know if my sacrifice was accepted at the altar what was going to be my indication that that the the lamb that I'd set apart
was good or the the ram that I'd put apart was okay or that the pigeon that I was at how am I going to know I'm only going to know one way and that's when the fire consumes it the only way you're going to know that salvation has come is by the sacrifice of a lamb that was slain for
you and I Jesus became our sacrifice on an altar that would pay the price for all of us our sin our guilt our wave our heave those are the offerings our shame our guilt all of those things us that's us when we follow his plan the way he says to we receive his Blessing why because that's what he wants
for us anybody here want to go to hell you know what'll be in hell right say it why not go there wouldn't that be fun why not because what's associated with that fire weeping wailing you understand that so what happens in the New Jerusalem how much fire is there anybody none why it's not necessary yeah all right we're going
to go old school yall ready well I've been redeemed by love divine you remember that Oh Glory Glory Christ is mine all to him that's Redemption that's what I was talking about a song that Angels don't I don't know what that's like I was made for this they weren't they made a choice to let the blood of Jesus touch
their life to go to an altar and bow their knee and ask for forgiveness I'm almost almost done the power of the altar I I I realize oh Lord I don't want to get sidetracked I will get stuck all right I'll go left it's harder it's easier to get back why do you think there's so many types of religions
and by en llarge the one determining difference between them is what the name of Jesus and the blood of Jesus why because if mankind can make it an easier way guess what that's what humans do am I right that's what they do but when God makes a way to us it seems foolish and to God it says what isn't
that you're reasonable to humans they would look at us and say why you're crazy going to church on Sunday and then on Wednesday and you even got prayer on Monday and then you got other things on Tuesday and then you got the occasional Friday and then every time what are y'all crazy come on I've had folk tell me you
you you get closer to God out on the lake on a boat I I tried I I I I don't fishing I in fact I I enjoy it when I can what I don't enjoy is all the wrestling that goes with it some of y'all know what I'm talking about oh this is going to be relaxing tree am I
the only one no go down to the go down to the creek go down to the river you'll find all these Bobbers hanging up in tree what happened now I bet they had as much fun as I did and then I I catch a fish what do I got to do with the fish now clean it oh if it's
a catfish you got to skin it got to pull the skin off of it listen to me I'm just giving you one example of how humans man I love I love a good fish sandwich from McDonald's only work I had to do was drive up to the window to get it I can even take it out by the lake
and eat it come on somebody and watch the fish out there well that's extra tartar sauce this month guys I I I hope I hope I do I pray that the last four weeks as we've been talking about my my mind my heart my expectation is so full right now because the more that I re recognize the fact that
God has a plan the altar was on purpose it was not accidental it wasn't a byproduct of something else but God knew exactly what he was doing listen to Pastor they're coming in it's okay God knew exactly what he was doing when he said you're going to put this thing together and it's going to be huge huge some of
y'all wondered if I was going to do that didn't you it's going to be huge but the fact is this if you ever go through that tent door if you ever go through that place the very first thing you're going to see is death because if you're not willing to kill it there you'll drag that thing around with you
forever come on I know what the weight of regret is I know what a suitcase of condemnation is I've carried one too but when I found out that at an altar I could lay it down there and say God it's yours now I don't have to go through any more of that would you stand with me tonight as I
stated next Wednesday night brother Sam will pick up on the next piece of furniture in the Tabernacle and that's the labor of water he'll do the whole month of April on Wednesday nights and on Sundays talking about the labor every piece of the Tabernacle was intentional and on purpose we canot afford to meet miss any of them you understand
that I I'm asking you one more time this is March soon to be April take as many notes in those journals that you can because you're going to hopefully one day turn that journal over to your son or daughter or one of your grandchildren and they're going to look at that and they're going to wonder wonder why mom wrote
that or why dad put this here apparently it was important enough for them to write it down why' they write it down because Pastor would say write just down what does that mean that means it's worth the investment what we're finding out through this process and again every month we're have a closer and closer till we finally get to
The Mercy Seat friend of mine you cannot buypass any part of this and expect to get to Mercy until you start at the front and work your way through it that's why I say it every week the safest most best place you could find yourself is at an altar because from there you die you let it go you're washed
you smell the bread you see the candle you smell the incense and you go right into the mercy it's 7:46 would you raise your hands come on somebody Lord I Thank you for the altar oh come on somebody Lord I I thank you for the altar thank you Lord for the place of sacrifice thank you Lord for for the
ability Lord God to receive from you Lord when I come to your house when I kneel by my bed when I pray in my closet Lord whatever Lord I Thank you for the opportunity to simply know you to have fellowship with you have relationship with you come on somebody thank him for the altar oh God thank you for it
Lord I help me God to understand your purpose Lord and what we study and what we see that the word of God is life it's it's alive it's active lord it's it's a lamp for us it's power it's sharp Lord it can Define it can separate the word does that God the power of what we learn does that oh
come on somebody one more minute could you just love the Lord before we transition into our worship songs come on let's just love Jesus Hallelujah to your name holy is your name oh come on that's right thank you for your word thank you Lord for the altar in my life thank you Lord for a place where I can lay
it down to you oh that's right come on come on it's a midweek University but it's a good time to love the Lord and serve him Hallelujah to your name Jesus
