Summary

Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.

It's Just a Good Life

  • He opens with the weekly struggle of trying to live by the rules he knows he is supposed to follow, and the congregation admits the same.
  • There is an incredible benefit and blessing in serving God; following the Bible's teaching makes a person better, healthier, and wiser.
  • An old-timer said he would live this life even if there were no heaven to gain; a clean and righteous life lets a man sleep at night and wake up in the morning.

There Is a Way That Seemeth Right

  • He asks the members to write in their journals some mistakes they made when they did not follow godly counsel, and what they had to do to make them right.
  • He reads the words of the wise man in Proverbs: there is a way that seems right to a man, but the end of it is the ways of death.
  • Much that feels right leads down the wrong road, and much that feels wrong leads down a good road; coming to church, attending midweek, and paying tithe and offering look wrong to others.
  • When we work in contradiction to our nature our actions feel senseless, and that is the collision; our ways need to be divine in their direction, or we will live in sin and miss what God has for us.

Scriptures: Proverbs 14:12

Ye Are Complete in Him

  • He reads from Colossians: beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit after the tradition of men and not after Christ, for in him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
  • We are complete in him, who is the head of all principality and power; apart from him a life has voids and neglected places.
  • Completeness is not a trouble-free life; a person can face hell on earth with the name of Jesus and make it through a day at a time.
  • He urges them to speak the name of Jesus getting out of bed in the morning and before laying their head on the pillow at night.
  • He asks them to journal this week the ways Jesus has made their lives complete.

Scriptures: Colossians 2:8-10

Hope for Fallen Man

  • The entirety of the written Word, from the plan in Genesis to the gates of pearl, is God helping humans deal with their emotions, actions, and attitudes, and giving them hope to reach for.
  • People can be faithful again and again and then suddenly not be faithful; they give and then decide not to give, pray daily and then miss a day — that inconsistency is life, not a reason for scolding.
  • Jesus was the spotless Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, and his plan cannot be thwarted; he will love a person even if that person makes their bed in hell.
  • This year's tabernacle study shows that everything God asks for — time, children, effort — he first provided; all he asks is whether we will submit it back to him.

A Peculiar People, a Purchased People

  • He reads from First Peter: lay aside all malice, guile, hypocrisies, envies, and evil speakings, and as newborn babes desire the sincere milk of the Word.
  • Believers come to a living stone, disallowed of men but chosen of God and precious, and are themselves lively stones built up a spiritual house and a holy priesthood.
  • To those who believe he is precious; to the disobedient the same stone is a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense.
  • They are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and a peculiar people, who once were not a people but now are the people of God and have obtained mercy.
  • The Word will not change because of anyone's name or past mistakes, so the offense is not with God but with us; an altar should be a believer's best friend.
  • Peculiar does not mean strange or odd; as a people they are purchased — a price was paid for them, one and done on the cross of Calvary, with no payment plan.

Scriptures: 1 Peter 2

Who Holds the Receipt?

  • If Peter's words are true, believers should know who holds the receipt for their lives; he is glad his salvation did not come on a credit card statement, and that God never said "I love you, until" or "I'll die for you, except."
  • Like a father assembling a bicycle and wondering about leftover screws, some people want God to change their lives while holding something back, just in case salvation does not work or they want to go back.
  • Israel came out of more than 400 years of slavery and still wanted to go back, though they never had a good day there; a person cannot go back to being a slave.
  • When you pray for a miracle, expect it and see it in your heart, because he either is or he is not; you are complete in him.
  • He gives five charges: walk in his ways, learn of him, show up for him, give to him, and allow his plan to work in your life.
  • If people bring up your past, let God answer: that mess is in the sea of forgetfulness, under the blood — washed, remitted, and redeemed.

God Has Never Failed Us

  • People in the congregation waited years for prayed prayers — three, six, fourteen, seven, eleven, four — and the answers did not come exactly as they thought they would.
  • He tells of taking his ordination certificates off the wall — a local license in '95, a general license in '96, and ordination in 1999 — and of over 30 years of ministry and nearly 50 years with the Holy Ghost: God has never failed us.
  • He warns young parents not to blink, because life passes quickly; he woke with new pains and climbed the steps with his coffee saying, "Thank you, Lord, another day — I am complete in you."
  • Christ was not willing to die for most of us or the majority of us; he went through it for all of us.
  • Do not run from the blessing; run into the anointing, and accept what God has spoken even when it requires something of you.
  • Children are the heritage of the Lord, and parents are still complete in him even if their children are not living for the Lord; at the Red Sea, when the people's hands were raised, God moved.

When I Think About the Lord

  • Some present should have lost their minds or fallen apart under bad decisions, but they are here; his grace works and his love works.
  • He has them stand, close their eyes, and think about the goodness of God — how he saved, raised, and healed them, picked them up, turned them around, and placed their feet on solid ground.
  • The altar is open for anyone bringing a sacrifice of praise or thanksgiving rather than leaving with it undelivered.
  • He invites people to repent of their sins, turn to him, and receive the Holy Ghost, holding nothing back, and to pray with one another and encourage someone nearby: you have been purchased.
  • He closes with the definition to write in their journals and reflect on all week: peculiar means purchased.

Scripture index: Proverbs 14:12; Colossians 2:8-10; 1 Peter 2.

How is it we can live our lives according to the rules and and regulation? I talk about this because man, my my week is full of just trying to live according to how I'm supposed to. Anybody else? Is is that right? You just you just got to do what you got to do because mama said do it right. You know what I'm saying? You just got to. Some of us struggle. We want to live life to the fullest. We want God's power to work in our lives.

We know that if we will live our lives according to the Lord, there is an incredible benefit and blessing from serving God. If God has blessed you even today, could you give a big old nod? Anybody give a greater, bigger nod? There you go. The words of the Lord are helping us every day. Helps us to just do right. Just do right. We can see that following the Bible's teaching will actually make us a better person in life, healthier, wiser, more cognizant just by following the word of God. There is a benefit in that.

There's no way that you can argue that honestly being a Christian is the best life you could live. Old-timer I heard once say, "You know what? I would live this life even if there wasn't no heaven to gain. There's just something about being able to sleep at night, being able to wake up in the morning. Tim was your mom. Anybody ever know? I just live this life because it's it's just it's just a good life. It's just a good life. Anybody understand what I'm talking about? Why? Because when you live a clean and righteous life, there's so many good things that happen in you.

for you CAC members with a journal. Write this down in your journal. Write some of the mistakes. Don't write them all. You'll be taking up all the pages. Some of the mistakes that you made in life and how that you did not follow godly counsel. And then under that list, write what you had to do to better or make that writer corrector more fixed. Proverbs, the wise guy in Proverbs chapter 14:12, listen to this. There is a way that seemth right unto man. Notice this. But the end thereof are the ways of death. The wise guy wrote that.

It seems right, but the end of it is going to lead to death. So many of us are searching for ways to overcome our crazy ideas and our messed up messes, right? And we live every day with perhaps shame and regret because we don't know how to deal with our past and our daily lives. Follow this. So much feels so right but leads us down the wrong road. Right? Watch. Watch how this works. And so much feels so wrong but leads us down a good road. Stay with me. You ready? You ready? H how is that possible?

Because when you work in contradiction to your nature, you feel at times that your actions don't make sense and therein is the collision. For an example, for an example, you are in the house, you're at church on Sunday. Your co-workers might think you're crazy for that. You go to midweek university. Your family may say that don't make no sense. Are you with me? You decide in your income that you're going to pay tithe and offering unto the things of God, the house of God. And some would say, man, that is wrong.

You could buy that bigger something or that better one of those contradiction back and forth. The fact remains that when you understand that a world full of questions and concerns, everyone is searching for a peaceful life. Our ways, my friend, they need to be divine in their direction. Without that, we are going to live in sin. We're going to live in issues, and we will not have our full potential that God has for us.

Notice in the New Testament Colossians 2 and8 beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit after the tradition of men after the rudiments of the world and not after Christ. Verse nine, for in him dwelleth all the fullness of the godhead bodily. Listen to this. And ye are complete in him which is the head of all principality and power. If you don't live according to him, you are not complete. You're going to have voids. You're going to have places that are neglected in your life. You're not going to know perhaps what to do left or right.

And when the questions come, listen, if you don't have Jesus living in you, you are not going to be complete. You are only complete in him. I did. Don't you misunderstand what pastor's saying nor what the writer wrote. You're not going to have a wonderfully happy translucent life that just leads you into rainbows and unicorns. You can face hell on earth with the name of Jesus and somehow a day at a time you can make it through it. You can be in the trial of your life right now fighting for your next breath.

But if you'll stay true to the teachings of the word of God, uh he'll get you through that. Come on. It might look like that you're going to die on the vine and wonder what's how it's all going to stay together. You get out of bed in the morning and speak the name Jesus and something is loosed in your life. You lay your head on a pill. Oh, somebody need to hear that. And you call on the name of Jesus before you lay down. You got to know that tomorrow is another day and this will be the day he makes.

So in this proposed plan of God in our lives, we've got to understand that he wants us to thrive in our lives. In him is the completeness. I present to you today just just a few a few th simple things that I want you to think about. You can say that you are not working nor walking in the plan and the power of God, but the fact is is that you are trying your best to live according to what you know. How many here's not had joy? Is there anybody here that's not had peace in your life?

Anybody know what it's like to not feel love in your life? Anybody know what it's like not to feel life? Come on. an existence simply trying to find an exit ramp, but you don't know how to turn left or right. That's because if you are not walking in Jesus, you are not complete. In your journal, write this down. In what ways has Jesus made you complete? Remember, church family, this is for you to re revert back to this week in your in your private prayer. Go back to these statements and questions and verses that you're writing down.

In what ways has Jesus made your life complete? We are complete in Jesus Christ. So what does all the mess and the junk and the stuff in our lives, what does it have to do with us living? Why is there such sloppy confusion? Why can't we just do things right? Come on, do it right. That's a great challenge. That's a good question. Come on, husbands and wives. Right now, you're in this big old discourse. Stop that. Just let pastor finish and then you can talk about that at home. I told you do it right. I told you turn right. You didn't.

In the entirety of the word of God, we got to notice this. the entirety of the written word of God that we hold so precious and dear. God is trying his best to help us as humans deal with our emotions, our actions, and our attitudes from the very beginning to the end of it. His desire is to give folk hope to be able to grab a hold of something that you might not be able to really understand, but yet you reach for it. Hope. That's that faith factor that we've talked about often from the plan in Genesis to the gates of pearl.

All of that in between the fall of man, all the shouts around the throne of God, everything is in there. And that design plan is for us to understand that God really does have our best interest at heart. Listen to me. We also understand that as humans, we fall short. So many times we stumble. We trip. We fall. We make bad choices. We take the wrong exit ramp. We don't turn the right direction. Anybody understand where I'm at? For some reason, we have questions about things. Come on. You can be faithful, faithful, faithful, faithful.

And for whatever reason, in the midst of all those faithfuls, you cannot be faithful. How is that even possible? Come on. You can give to the things of God. Give to the things of God. Give to the And then for whatever reason, a decision made, you know what? I'm not going to give. You can get out of bed in the morning in your prayer time. Pray, pray, pray, pray. And for whatever reason, a day comes along. Missed that one. Come on. I'm not getting on to you. I'm just saying that's life. Come on. All of us struggle with the things consistency with God.

But how is it that fallen man can have hope in Jesus Christ? I don't know about you, but I have not had Jesus literally come in and sit down beside me, put his arm around me. Now, spiritually, I know he's done that to me multiple times. He's been in the car with me. He's been in our motor home at times on deputation. He's been here in this place with me. I've seen him and and I know that it's him and his presence and his power. But for the physical man, Jesus, to sit next to me, I I'm challenged with that just like you are.

But I have to know this. He was the spotless lamb slain from the foundation of the world. And because of that, from the foundation of the world, his plan has been working. You can't thwart that plan. You can't throw that plan out the window. He's going to love you if you make your bed in hell. He'll love you. He He'll be there. His presence will be there. You might not be in accordance with him. You might not be at one with him, but he's still there.

We are gently and ever so softly making our way this year through the tabernacle and we're trying our best to explain and to dig out some things. Again, I always point to it's over in the corner. We use it on Wednesday nights in our teaching all year long. We're going to have aspects of it. It's a great study that we're going through. I'm feeling the effects of it in my life personally. Anybody else? Come on. Anybody else? Why? Because we are talking about God's plan. When we understand that God has everything we need, everything he's asked us for, he provides.

I I want you to give me your time. Who gave you time? I want you to give me your children. Who gave you those children? I want you to give me your effort. Who g You see what I'm saying? All of it's from him. All he wants to know is, are we willing to submit it back to him? That's what the tabernacle plan does for us. With every lesson and with every message, it has revealed this understanding that God has a desire and a passion to love you. Oh, to love you. Notice how this plays out. First Peter, we're going to read several verses.

Is it okay? Are we all right? It's 108. We're still okay, right? 1 Peter chapter 2 verse one. Wherefore laying aside all malice, all guile and hyp hypocrisies and envys and evil speakings. Number two, as newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby. If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious, to whom coming as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God and precious. Verse 5. Ye also as lively stones are built up a spiritual house and holy priesthood to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

Wherefore verse six says also it is contained in the scripture. Behold I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone elect precious and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded unto you. Therefore we okay which believe he he he is precious. But unto them which be disobedient the stone which the builders disallowed the same is made head of the corner and a stone of stumbling a rock of offense. Even to them which stumble at the word and being disobedient where unto also they were appointed. Number nine.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood and holy nation, a peculiar people, that ye should shoe forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Come on. Which were in which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God, which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. The writer in so many words says this. I'm describing to you uh the power of one that some did not want that some disallowed that some did not want working in them.

Uh but if you will understand and grasp a hold of the reality of who the chief cornerstone is, something in you will happen. something will transition you from one place of confusion into a place of grasping hold of the reality. And the fact I've come to tell somebody today, if you're offended by the word of God, then perhaps you need to relook at the one who put the words there for you. If you're offended at what it says, then maybe you've got to understand the offense is not with God, but it is with you. Why? Because the word of God, hear this preacher today.

Uh, it's not going to change because of your name or who you are or your past mistakes. You're not that good. God's not going to destroy generations and generations and eons of time of his established word because you all of a sudden showed up on the scene a big old mess that nobody could fix. God's not about to say, "I can fix anybody but you." It ain't going to happen. Come on, somebody. You better not think of yourself bigger than you are. But recognize that submitting yourself to the mercy and the grace of God is where you need to find yourself.

Uh an altar needs to be your best friend. Uh sacrificing needs to be something that you do every day. Uh you need to grasp the understanding. Uh I won't be offended by the word of God, but yet it is my cornerstone in which I will stand. Amen. Amen. I know that if I embrace the power of the word of God, then I know that through him uh things are going to happen. Did you notice what the writer wrote? You are chosen. You are royal. You are holy. You are peculiar. And then he begins and he talks about it. Not only that, you're a chosen generation.

You're a royal priesthood. You're a holy nation. You're a peculiar people. You want to know what peculiar means? It doesn't mean you're strange, odd, or awkward. Not at all. Uh but in its true definition, the simplicity uh of the word, you're a generation, a priesthood, and a nation. Uh but when it comes to a people, you are purchased. There was a price paid for you. Uh and it was not set up on terms uh to make a payment here uh and a payment there. Uh there wasn't no checkbook came along with purchasing your salvation, but it was one and done on a cross of Calvary.

Therefore, uh we've got to know that we know that we know that I have been purchased. Uh I am his uh I don't belong to any other mess in this world. Uh I'm not y'all wait a minute. I'm not interested in any other thing around. Uh I am convinced. I understand. He bought me. Uh I am his I am purchased. I've been acquired by God. I I recognize the reality of humanity at times would cause us to say, "Then why the mess? If he owns me, then why the confusion and the chaos?

If I'm called by his name, then why are there opportunities for me to fall and fail? Anybody else ask those questions? Thank you, Aussie. Aussie said, "Yeah, my dad does." Although, no joking. The greatest of intentions can end up in failure and fallacy. Here, hear the preacher for just a moment. If what is written by the hand of pre Peter is that we are holy, that we are royal, and that we are chosen, that it only stands to reason that we would understand, listen to me, who holds the receipt for our lives.

I I I got a feeling that in in modern day religion, can I say it this way and not offend anyone? In modern day religion, we want salvation with a giving statement just in case I need to get it back. I'm so glad my salvation didn't come on a credit card statement.

I'm so I'm so thankful that he didn't say I love you comma until I'm so thankful so glad that he didn't say I'm going to die for you except woo I'm so glad today that there's a whole lot of messed up broken folk sitting in front of me but I believe that if we truly understand the value of how he purchased us then we'd be able to rise in the morning and declare his glory we'd be able to read the word of God and absorb it instead of pushing it back. Come on.

We'd be able to get in front of our friends and neighbors and not give in to the junk and the garbage of what the world's trying to tell us. Come on. This is not some sloppy mess of things, but he purchased you. Why? Because he wants you to be complete in him. If you don't feel that joy and that power and that presence, it might might very well be, come on, somebody that you might be a gift that's been purchased, but you've got a secret box somewhere that's holding all those screws that's going to be left over at the end of the assembly.

Oh, you dads know what I'm talking about, right? You ever put a bicycle together and what's these two screws for? Boom. Oh, sorry. Come on. Some of us are, some of us want God to change our lives, but we're holding back on him. Just in case. Just in case. What? Just in case salvation don't work or I might want to go back. Where are you going to go back to? Come on, children of Israel. You understand that, right? We're out of slavery and bondage 400 plus years.

We've been pounding out rocks and making brick and doing all this stuff and cutting branches and building all this stuff. Now we're out of there. Yeah, I still got to mud under my toenails and my fingernails. I'm out of there. And all of a sudden, when things don't look right. Why'd you bring us out here to kill us? We were better off. What you mean you was better off? You didn't have even a good day there. You didn't have a good day there, Brother Daniel. You know what I'm saying? You mentioned it earlier about coming out. You didn't you didn't have one good day there.

You weren't allowed to worship as you wanted. You weren't allowed to do what you wanted. Why? You might have went in free, but you came out a slave. How is it then? Come on. You act like, "Yeah, oh those people, they got Come on. We're in 2025 and the same attitude envelops parts of our lives. Lord, I know you're a healer cuz you've healed me. But Lord, I know you're a way maker cuz you've made a way. But now, can I can I be pastor for a moment?

Some of you guys might get offended at pastor when you call me and you reveal to me a great blessing or something marvelous that's happened in your life. And my response nine times out of 10 is, "What else were you expecting?" That's what I What did you think was going to happen? I'm not being mean. I'm just simply telling if you're going He either is or ain't. He either will or won't. He either can or can't. He is or ain't. Come on, somebody. You know, you got to understand something.

If you're going to serve the God of all creation, then you've got to somehow be able to believe that he can create and recreate and do a work in your life no matter what circumstance you're in. Listen to me. When you pray, don't pray a miss. Don't pray haphazardly. But when you God, I need a miracle right now. I need you to come through. Then you might as well expect it and see it in your heart and in your mind's eye. Why? Because if you pray it, God says, you're complete in me. I'm listening.

Where our issue lies is we don't understand who holds us in his hand sometimes. Come on, God. you you might you might not be really listening to me right now or you you you may not have my best interest at heart right now. No, that's not how God works. You are only complete in him. His ways are much better, much more fulfilling than the ways our lives could ever be. So I challenge you today, write this down. Walk in his ways. Walk in his ways. You ready for it? Number two, learn of him. Y'all right in this. Okay. Is all right? It's all right.

Come on. You can use your phone if you have to. Number three, show up for him. Y'all y'all gonna make me talk about that one. Number four. Number four, give to him. Lastly, allow his plan to work in your life. Walk in his ways. Learn of him. Show up for him. Give to him. And allow his plan to unfold in your life. Friend of mine, I want you to know when you learn his ways, you can declare them at every turn you take. God, you have been faithful. God, your word does not fail. God, you are most precious and perfect. Come on.

You don't have to be ashamed of his power and his purpose working in your life. You don't have to tell somebody. Y'all got to hear what the preacher is saying. You don't got to tell somebody, "My pastor makes me live this way. My mom and dad make me do that." Come on. You ain't got to do that. You can declare, "You know what? His ways are right. Therefore, I'll walk in them." That's right. But what what if what if they look at my past? What if they do? What if they do? Hey, here here's y'all ready for it?

If they look at your past, then you just simply advise them, admonish them, then I you're right, but I need you to talk to God about that and see what he says. And they're going to mention your messed up past to him and he's going to say, "Huh? He's talking about why?" Because that have been, Brother Jeff, all that mess you've been through. You know where that's at now? It is in the sea of forgetfulness. It is under the blood. It has been washed. You have been remitted and redeemed. Come on.

Don't let your past hold you back from what God's doing for you tomorrow, today. Even you are complete in him. Why? Because you're peculiar. You've been purchased. Uh you've been bought with a price. Uh he knows what your value is and he gave it to pay for you. Uh it don't matter how messed up, confused, or anything like that. If you'll allow him to work in your life, my God will work in your life. You don't have to be afraid. Uh you don't have to be nervous about it. You don't have to stand on your own, but you can stand on the word of God.

Huh? So many of us, we have yet to embrace the fact that Jesus is calling the shots in our lives. Come on. You got to allow him space and time for him to complete his plan. Anybody ever prayed a prayer and it took a whole long time to for it to come to fruition? Anybody? How long did you have to wait? How long did you have to wait? Three years. Anybody else? How long? still. No, you're not. You're anticipating. That's a That's a different view. When you're anticipating something and you ain't waiting on it. Anybody else? Huh? How long? Six. Anybody else? Come on. 14.

Anybody else? Seven. Anybody else? 11. Four. Did it ever happen? Did it happen exactly the way you thought? Well, now what's wrong with that picture? All right, I'm I'm going to get close to you. Ready for it? Evidently, your faith wasn't strong enough. Now, listen to pastor for just a minute. There's no way in this world that I ever in a million years would have thought that my wife and I would be in Chattanooga, Tennessee after I I counted it.

I us well actually I was taking taking pictures off the wall in my office and trying to get ready to pack them away and uh my ordination certificates on in a nice frame my wife did for me and I put it in 1999. I was ordained as a minister. Then the one behind it is for general license. It was 96. And uh behind it is my local license. And this is with the United Pentecostal Church of 95. And I'm going 95.

I cannot tell you the miles, the weights, the struggle, the decisions and choices, the good and the bad that over 30 years in ministry that we have seen and faced. But I'm here today to tell you God has never failed us. God has never failed us. In another year, Don, I will have had the Holy Ghost for 50 years. God has never failed us. Why is that important, pastor? I'm going to tell you something. I'm trying my best to tell these young parents all the time, you better not blink. Life's gonna pass like that and it's gonna be gone.

You're gonna look, what in the world happened? I woke up this morning with three new pains. I thought it was so cool. My wife and I trying to go to bed last night. She's over there. Am I right? And I'm laying there going, Some of y'all think I'm crazy. You wait. Can I get a witness? And I said, "What's wrong with you?" I don't I don't know. I said, "I took a set of fetamin a set of fetamin for mine." She said, "Why?" I don't know. Listen to me.

And this morning I woke up at 6:20, go up to my office as my my way is my custom. And I'm going up the steps and my knees are bending and my hands holding the coffee cup and my iPad under this arm and I'm making my way up the steps and I'm only thing I can say is thank you Lord. Another day. I am complete in you, Jesus. I may have aches and pains and I may not know how it's going to happen tomorrow, but I know this. I am complete in you. Why? Because I'm peculiar. I am purchased. I am purchased.

Brother Don, would you come help me? Some of you have failed to lean into the facts of who you are. You don't have to be proud and boastful. In fact, I'd tell you not to. You You don't have to be arrogant and mean. In fact, I would advise you don't. But this is one thing I can tell you. And all the trials, the tests, the tribulations, the issues, the things that you've gone through in your life, the ups and the downs, the goods and the bads, and all of those things, you've got to remember that it it doesn't matter where you found yourself.

You are still complete in him. Why? Because you're peculiar. He was not willing. Listen to this. He was not willing to die on a cross for most of us. He was not willing to give his life and every drop of blood in his body for the majority of us. but instead embrace the fact that he went through it for all of us. I I realize that it's it's it's difficult sometimes to find the hand of God in some of our life situations. Is that right? It's it's hard sometimes. The challenges can be huge. But I want to help somebody today for the next moment.

I want to admonish you, do not run from the blessing. Rather, run into the anointing. You're only going to be complete in your life when he is in it. It's in him. I don't have to speak as a prophet right now to declare God has spoken things into some of your lives that you are scared to death to face and accept and embrace. Why? Because it will require something of you and you're not sure yet if you can pay that price. Why? because you don't understand the difference of value of your stuff you're holding on to and God's provision if you'll take the step.

You parents in here that have kids, that's why you're called a parent. Um, that was wisdom for somebody I had to clarify. The sleepless nights, the challenge of not knowing what's wrong, the late and earies, the spit up. My shirt wrinkled today. That's cuz I was holding my grandbaby. He was sleeping earlier. Lord, thank you for my wrinkles. They match my others. Um, all right. Some of y'all are awake. But I would not take anything from my children now. I wouldn't then. But now I see how they are indeed the heritage of the Lord. But what what if your kids aren't living for the Lord?

That's I don't know that answer. I do know this. You're still complete in him. Let me help you. Do not judge what they do by what God's planning for you. Children of Israel could never have known there was a sea out there that they were going to have to navigate. Thank you, brother Dan, for reminding us. How did they get across that sea? How did they get across the Red Sea? Anybody remember the story? How Pal, raise your hand. Raise your hands. Why? What happens? God moves. When your hands are up, God moves.

Last week we looked at the how the anointing of the Lord would fall in the tabernacle and how that once it was done we read in Leviticus. I asked is anybody want to feel like you can shout in my I said anybody shout they because that's what they they shouted and then they fell down and worshiped. Why' they shout? To declare him. Amen. Why' they worship? To put themselves under him. I stand here today and I tell you, friend, that you're not weird. That's not what peculiar means. Chosen, holy.

God has such great things in store for you as an individual, as a family, and as our church. Some of you are afraid of your job loss. Then keep praying that prayer. Some of you are looking for royalties. Keep praying that prayer. Some of you aren't sure how tomorrow's going to turn out. Keep praying. When you get out of bed in the morning, make God first. Amen. Thank you, Jesus, for another day. Thank you, Jesus, for another day. Lean into it. Time today does not permit for me to pass the microphone and let some of you tell your testimony.

Some of you should have lost your mind. Some of you should have already fallen apart. Some of you did fall apart. But somehow, some way, you're here today. Some of you caved under the weight of bad decisions. But for whatever reason, you're here. His grace works. His love works. Would you stand with me today? You are only complete in him because he purchased you. He loves you. For a moment, would you just close your eyes and think of the goodness of the Lord? Come on. Would you remember the good things of God? Come on, take a moment.

Would you consider where you have been and where you are today? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, come on. Think about it. The struggle is real. The battle's real. The mess is real. The mistakes, they're real. Oh, but think about the goodness of God. Think about the goodness of God when I think about the Lord. Would you try that one for me? Hey. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Come on. He's He's reminding some of us. When I think about the Lord, how he saved me, how he raised me. Yeah. How he healed me to the uttermost. When I think about the Lord, come on, somebody.

He picked me up and turned me around. Placed my feet. Solid ground. When I think about the Lord, when I think about Come on, somebody. Oh, he's so good to you. This altar's open. If somebody simply wants to bring a sacrifice of praise today, a sacrifice of thanksgiving today. Come on. Come on. Don't you leave here with that sacrifice. Bring it to the Lord. When I think about you, Lord, how you picked me up. You turn me around. Oh yes. Solid ground. It makes me want to shout. Come on, somebody. God's been good to you. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. Yeah. God's faithful.

He is so incredibly faithful today. You've been purchased. You've been purchased. You are chosen. You are holy. You are purchased today. Oh, come on, somebody. You need the Holy Ghost. He's here right now for you. Come on. You need to repent of your sins. Lord, I'm sorry. I've messed up and my life is all jumbled up right now, but I want to be complete. Come on. Repentance, your first step. I'm sorry, Lord. Forgive me. Forgive me. Come on. Turn around. Turn around to him. Open your heart. Come on. Let your heart break in front of him. Come on.

Let him know I'm holding nothing back, Lord. I I'm complete in you, Jesus. Come on. That's right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Come on. It's prayer time. I love you, Lord. I believe in you, Jesus. I trust you today, God. My soul says yes to you, holy one. Oh, come on. That's right. Come on. That's right. Reach for the Lord today. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Yeah. Yeah. I love you, Lord. Come on, somebody. You need to be talking to the Lord right now. Get some priorities back in line. Come on. Get some choices back in order. Jesus, I've got to put you first, Lord. Why?

Because I've been purchased. I've been purchased. Come on. If you need the Holy Ghost today, he's here for you. He can fill you with his spirit right now. That's right. You repent of your sins. You begin to love him, lift him up, you begin to exalt him, and bless his name. He will move on your behalf. He will come in and make you right. That's right. Come on, somebody. The name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. It makes me want to shout. Makes me want to shout. Yeah. I love you, Lord. I need you, Jesus. Oh, that's right. Come on.

Maybe you need to get up next to somebody and pray with them. Find somebody and just talk to them. Talk to the Lord about them. Come on. I'm here for you. I'm believing in faith for you. Come on. You can turn loose to that mess. You can turn loose to those issues. You can let God work in your life. Come on. That's right. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. That's right. Yes, Lord. I know you're right. Oh, come on. Go find somebody. Pray with them. Let the Holy Ghost use you today to minister to someone else. That's right. Come on. Let him work through you.

Let him flow through you. The name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. I am complete in you. I am complete in you. Lord Jesus. You picked me up. Turn me around. Place my feet on solid ground. Oh, that's right. Come on. The answer is in him. Come on. You're chosen. You're royal. You're holy. He's got a plan for your life. Yes, he does. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Help me today, Lord. My faith is in you. Order my steps, Lord. I run after you. I run after you, Jesus. Yeah. I love you, Lord. I love you, Lord. Oh, that's right.

Come on. That's right. The Lord's moving. God's making a way. The Lord God's making a way for someone. That's right. In the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, I believe you for it, Lord. You are the holy one. Jesus, my Jesus. Great is your name. No other, no other like you. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Glorify your name. Oh, that's right. Be encouraged in the Lord. Why don't you find some folk close to you and encourage them? Come on, you are complete in Jesus. Tell somebody, you've been purchased. Come on, encourage somebody close to you, you've been purchased. You're so peculiar. You're so purchased. Huh?

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, great God. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Yeah, I love you, Lord. Oh, I'm so glad for the family of God, for the body of Christ. I'm so glad that you all are in my life and the Lord lets me into your life. Amen. Holy, chosen, royal, and really strange. No, that's not what it says. Purchased. If you're new to Cornerstone, I'm so glad you came today. If you're online, whatever your stuff you're going through, God is still God. Make sure in your journals you write down that definition equals purchased. And you reflect on that this week. That all right?

You reflect on that. Remember that. I love all of you. I'm so glad you came to the house of the Lord today. You can return to your seat. If you need to leave, feel free to do so.
