Summary

Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.

An offering from the heart, and the ark built first

  • God told Moses to have the children of Israel bring an offering of gold, silver, brass, linen, skins, wood, oil, spices, and stones — given willingly from the heart, not assigned tribe by tribe.
  • God already knew everything they had hidden away; what He wanted to see was the heart, whether they willingly believed He could be their God and they His people.
  • The first piece God gave building instructions for was the ark — before the perimeter, the altar, or anything else — because that is where He would sit.
  • The ark was made of shittim wood overlaid with pure gold inside and out, about 3'9" long by 2'3" wide and high, with rings and gold-covered staves that were never to be taken out of the rings, the testimony placed inside, and a crown, lid, and cherubim on top.
  • Nothing like it had ever been made before; God filled men with wisdom to work the gold, silver, brass, and needlework exactly to the pattern.
  • God gives the best thing first: just as the ark came first, God fills a person with the Holy Ghost first, so that when doubt, fear, and questions come later, they always have a number-one place to go back to.

Scriptures: Exodus 25

Hidden behind the veil: God dwelling on the mercy seat

  • God did not dwell in the whole tabernacle; His presence — the glory resting as an orb of light and fire — sat on the mercy seat between the two cherubim.
  • Only the high priest ever saw the ark, once a year on the Day of Atonement; at the priests' working ages, perhaps only four or five high priests in a hundred years ever laid eyes on it.
  • The cherubim face one another looking down in humility, and the tapestries were woven with angels, because wherever God is, the celestial beings are there — as in the throne room Isaiah described.
  • The law was carried both written and spoken, repeated when lying down, rising up, sitting at the table, and walking, until it became part of who the people were.
  • Some details passed down by tradition were added by men, not God — the rope supposedly tied to the high priest's foot in case he died inside was a later addition; God would simply not let a man with sin pass through.

Scriptures: Deuteronomy (book-only, as spoken)

Why it is called the mercy seat

  • It is called a mercy seat because people are people: we can walk out of an altar full of the Holy Ghost and trip and fall into sin, because God gave us the ability to choose.
  • With choice comes memory: God forgives and washes whiter than snow, but the enemy reminds us of the mess-ups — and the devil cannot reach through the blood of Jesus and pull your sin out; it only comes back out if you pull it out yourself.
  • Mercy is needed because God gave laws: once you hear what God requires, you are accountable for it, the same way you would want to know if there were a cure for your disease.
  • Israel proved the need from the start: while Moses was on the mountain, they were dancing around a golden calf, and Aaron claimed the calf just came out of the fire on its own.
  • God knew they were stiff-necked and prideful, yet He wanted to be their God; the whole covenant would circle around one word — mercy.

Exodus 40: the ark placed first, then hidden

  • When the tabernacle was reared up, Moses took the testimony and put it into the ark, set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat on top of it, then brought the ark into the tabernacle and hung the veil over it.
  • The ark was the first piece placed inside and everything else was built out from there; once the veil was hung, it was out of sight except to the high priest once a year — so it had to be made perfectly right.
  • Many things about God stay hidden until a person prays themselves into a position where God reveals them; revelation comes in a moment, not from a sudden pool of our own wisdom.
  • Daily sins and uncleanness were handled daily at the tent opening with the sin, trespass, wave, and heave offerings the law required — but every sacrifice of the year stood or fell on the Day of Atonement: if the fire of God did not fall that day, none of it mattered, while the people stood in their tent doors watching.

Scriptures: Exodus 40:17-20

The veil is torn: we are now the dwelling place

  • We no longer have the mercy seat in a gold box: the day Jesus died on the cross, the veil was torn by the hand of God, and now everyone gets to see.
  • Jesus rent His own flesh and became mercy for us; His glory now rests upon us and in us, we make our bodies a living sacrifice, and we are now the tabernacle of the Lord — His dwelling place.
  • We do not have to wait through the old process of separated animals and set-apart days; we can simply speak Jesus and mercy comes — He can meet us at a 6:00 a.m. prayer meeting or over a lunch table.
  • The barrier to healing is not God but faith to believe in His mercy; by His stripes we are healed, and God can create new things in our bodies.
  • Moses himself showed mercy on the mountain: rather than expose a guilty people to the finger-written law and let them die, he broke the tablets — and then carried new tables up and back down again.

A closing prayer of thanksgiving for mercy

  • He closed by thanking God for mercy, for the rightness of God's law, and for the blood of Jesus that washes, cleanses, and covers a multitude of sins.
  • Because the veil was torn and the tabernacle is no more, God has made His people His dwelling place now — and mercy is what we need to cleanse us and wash us.

As has been discussed, what do we have on the screen? Oh, perfect. That's what we need. Um, nice picture, guys. We this month are talking about the u the dwelling place that's considered the holy of holies um holiest of holies that's different from the holy place which would have been the outer the outer inner court uh of the tent. We started out from the outside of the tent and we came through in January, February, altar, labor, past the first curtain of separation into holy place.

We spent time with the table of shoe breath, candlestick, and the altar of incense. Um, got to the veil, which is the veil that separates the holy from the most holy. And now that we've passed through that, this month we are uh focusing on the space that God dwells in. Every part of the tabernacle has a purpose. Okay? Every piece of it is intentional. How many knows living for God has to be intentional? You can't accidentally show up in heaven one day and wonder how you got there.

not going to happen. You're going to be 100% know that that's what you've been looking for. Now, all of these plans, all of the steps, all the details, the materials, we've talked every month pretty much. One of the teachers, uh, Brother Sam, Brother Dan, or myself, we've talked about how God gave all of the detail necessary so that man could take that vision that God gave, that instruction that God gave to Moses, gave all the materials, the dimensions, the how-to.

He even gave the wisdom to know how to do these things because they didn't know how. Everything came from the hand of God. The details, the descriptions, all of that is mentioned. And the entirety of it, everything they did, listen carefully, it was focused for this only. Okay? This was what was the most important piece, the most holy place behind the veil. Imagine if you will this room um with a box in it quite literally.

And that box was a place where the power and presence um the shikina or as the southerners call it the shock and all of God where it would reside. Something that's very important to understand as we begin over the next few weeks. We're going to spend some time on this. But this particular piece that you're looking at is a box and it contains several it it is inclusive of several different things. We're going to find out here in just a moment as we read in the book of Exodus.

The box is absolutely 100% what God's desire was for the children of Israel. The rest of it was simply the task and the steps to get through from there to this. Exodus 25. We've read this before uh in several other sessions, but it's worth repeating. Exodus 25 and1. The Lord spake to Moses saying, "Speak unto the children of Israel that they may bring me an offering." offering. Everybody say, "An offering." It's a really weak one, but it's okay.

We'll take it. An offering. Every man that giveth willingly with his heart shall take my offering. And this is the offering which they shall take of them. Gold, silver, brass, blue, purple, scarlet, fine linen, goats hair, rams skins dyed red, badger skin, shidum, wood, oil for the light, spices for the anointing, oil for sweet incense, onx stones, stones to be set in the ephod and in the breastplate. and let them make me a sanctuary.

This is the place and everything attached to it is focusing on this. Stay with me. That I may dwell among them. Thus the dwelling place according that all that I should offer after the pattern, excuse me, of the tabernacle, the pattern of all the instruments thereof. Even so, even so shall you make it. The people were to bring an offering of what they had. Out of their heart, God didn't say, "Tell the tribe of Reuben and the tribe of Gad to bring me 75 pounds of this or 61 pieces of that.

Tell Ishachar and tell Ephraim and Manessa to bring this." He said, "Tell everybody to bring me an offering and this is what I need." And he gave all the items. And then they began to bring. The interesting thing here is that God knew exactly what they had. How many knows God knows everything, huh? The the New Testament story of Ananas and Safari got nothing on this. God would have already known what they had in their tents, what they kept in a box, what they stored under the bed, okay?

What was in the safety deposit box if there was such a thing in that day. And God knew. But God said, "You know what? I all I want to look at is your heart. Because if you willingly bring this gold, brass, silver, skins, and so forth. If you willingly bring what you have, then I'll know that you're willing to believe that I can be a god to you and you can be a people to me. Exodus 25:10, let's continue. They shall make interesting he says one through nine bring these pieces and then notice the first piece that he tells them to build.

They shall make an ark of shidum wood. Two cubics and a half shall be the length. Cubic and a half the breadth thereof. A cubic and a half the height thereof. Thou shalt overlay it with pure gold. Within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold roundabout. Thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four corners thereof, and two rings shall be in one side of it, two rings in the other side of it.

Thou shalt make staves of shidum wood, overlay them with gold. Thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, and that the ark may be born with them. The staves shall be in the rings of the ark. They shall not be taken from it. Thou shalt put into the ark of the testimony which I shall give thee. Does anybody after reading that in the King James version have any questions about what was about to transpire?

There are so many details in that. Put the ring there. The ring that holds the ring and the ring that's on the ring that goes to that corner to the horn that's going to hold the stave and the ring of the stave and that and make sure that the stave and the ring go together on the side of the thing and make sure that it's done where the crown is done. There's seven verses here of it. Notice as well when you put these now, of course, this is a rendition.

We agree this is a a make. When you put these staves in there into the rings, guess what the staves are supposed to do? Stay. You don't pull the sticks out. You leave the sticks in it. The other piece is not. to had rings. You pull the sticks, you use the piece, you put the sticks back in, and you carry it. These were specifically for this box. Okay. Now, the beauty of this, God says, "Bring an offering." And then in this offering, I need the material that's going to be sufficient to make this box.

Basically for translation, it's 3'9 in by 2' 3 in by 2' 3 in. So it's not huge among us. You know, it would be like a sofa table in your home. I mean, has a solid gold sofa table. Anybody would we need it if you do. Anyway, um but these these are pieces. They're not this is all this is not all one. This is a box that has a crown. It's called a crown, which is again a rendition here be the top piece. And then on top of it, there's a table if you will, a top.

And then these angels are attached to that table. Why does this matter? Someone, this is the first time in history that any one of these has ever been made. Keep that in mind. The Caldians, they didn't know how to. They didn't need that stuff. The Mesopotamians, they didn't have any of that stuff. This was stuff that God spoke directly to his people. Why does it matter that it's all made of gold inside and outside and that the staves don't leave and that there's a lid on the box and that there's cherubams on the top of the lid that's on the box?

Wow, we're an active group tonight. Um, the corners of the box that had the rings in it were made for the st the sticks that were covered in gold and they wouldn't be removed from it. Very beautiful, very ornate. Why does this box need to be so perfectly assembled, manufactured, put together? Why does it matter? It's what? Yeah. And we know that today. But did they know actually what that meant then? They would not have probably had a clue what that was even about.

Mercy, huh? Mercy to them would have been, "Will you not kill me if you can and let me live?" But this when you go through, we got the Bible to go to and we can read the history of it. But imagine Moses standing there. Yes. Yes, God. Yes, God. Okay. And then turning around to the group of folk and say, "See that big stack of gold that just got brought in and that shidam wood, aa wood, call it what you want. We need to make this."

Why? God said to is it important? I think so. What are the details? See, can we fudge here or there? No. Make it this way. We all know the two guys God infused wisdom into so they could do gold, silver, brass. They knew how to do needle work. They knew how all these things. All right. This is one of the most incredible things that in this plan, Exodus 25, the very first piece that God gives them instructions of how to build is this.

He doesn't tell them first how to put the perimeter up. He doesn't tell them how to sweep the ground and get it cleared back. He doesn't tell them none of that. He says when they bring the gold and all the things, this is the most important piece. Do it first. Do it first. Listen to me carefully. Once they finished this box, ready for a side note if you're making notes, what did they do with it while they were doing the rest of the work?

Keep in mind, they didn't just 3D print this. What did they do with this while everything else was being put together? This to me is probably one of the most intriguing pieces of the mercy seat and the ark of the covenant is they put this together. God gave them the wisdom to know all these specific details and then for the length of time it took them to assemble and make all of this. They would walk past it and they would man something else.

This was the most ornate piece in the entire You can't tell me that the altar of sacrifice was as beautiful as this. You can't tell me that the table of shoebre was this be beautiful. The golden candlestick that weighed 95 almost 100 pounds. It wasn't as ornate and beautiful as this. Are are we okay tonight so far? We still here? Here's the thing. God knew how humanity was. Why? Why do you think when the Lord says, "I'm gonna change your life.

I'm gonna save you and I'm gonna put something in you to change." You got to know something. When you receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, it is the best number one. Ain't nothing like it. Ain't going to get no more of it. It's number one chief in your life. Why? Because there are times in your life when you're going, "We on a side note now. You know, I'm a teacher, preach, right? There's times in your life when you're full of the Holy Ghost, baptized in Jesus name, but doubt, fear, questions, all that stuff starts rumbling in your brain.

Anybody know what I'm talking about? But if God gives you the number one first, guess what? You've always got a place to go back to for number one. Come on. What if God were to first say, "You know what? If you'll go out there and you'll buy a red Corvette and drive it for 13,612 miles, make sure the tires are rotated every 350 miles. Make sure the oils changed accordingly. Drive it for all this time and then when you're done with that, go and sell it and get this amount of money for it if you do that.

And then you I need you to go live in this house that's this size with it. If he gave you this whole series of events to do before he ever filled you with the Holy Ghost, guess what? You would not ever get to the prize. But God doesn't do that. You know what, children of Israel, build this first. This is going to be the pride and joy of everything that you do. This right here is going to be where I sit. Listen to me.

Who got to see this thing once it went into the Holy of Holies? How many people in the lifespan of the children of Israel having this tabernacle of the congregation? How many people in the lifespan of that got to see this box? How many? Because it only once a year yam kapor day of atonement would the high priest go in according to the law and would make sacrifice to make sure that the glory of God still rested. The orb, the shakana still rested upon the mercy seat between the two angels.

Come on, it's in your word once a year. So if they did this 50 years, 100 years, let's use a number 100 years. How many high priests would there have been in a 100 years span? We know they worked from age 30 to 50. That's what it says about your priest and they trained constantly the next level. So there could have been possibly in a hundred years span four or five high priests that would have ever seen this box. Am we okay?

I'm not making this up. This is the data. This is what Sam says. If I had a pie chart, I could show you peacon. Anyway, this right here is the entirety of why the children of Israel did all of this was right there. And if they did not do it correctly, God would not accept it. He didn't care about their altar. He didn't care about their labor. He didn't care about their water. He didn't care what they did with the ashes.

He didn't care about the incense. None of that. This right here is where God's going to dwell. Understand? God did not dwell in the entirety of the tabernacle of the congregation. I read one again. We don't we've never seen this, have we? We've seen depictions of it and National Treasure had one or anyway. Um, sorry. So, there's been ideas about it, the stuff inside of it. We're going to talk about that in the next few weeks as well.

But imagine this, this incredibly beautiful, precious box, mercy seat, top angels. I had to do a whole lot of reading and research over the last several months about this, trying to get my mind wrapped around it. Uh that's where I I came across the veil didn't have an opening and he was transported through it as God would draw him and then God would release the high priest to go back out and he would that was the job.

Um, this the Holy of Holies, the walls that are inside are covered in gold tapestry on top reflecting the light that's coming, shining, reflecting off the gold, off the presence of God that is on the mercy seat, the orb, let's call it. Is that okay? That's probably the only word I can think of. And it's sitting between the angels that are facing one another. It sits here. Now, they can't see each other. They can only look down out of humility.

Why? Why does that matter? Side note, what does this reflect to man? According to what God has, Isaiah talked about it. The year that King Uzziah died, this is what I saw. what he saw angels, six wings. Everything about the throne room that's identified has angelic beings. And the tapestry that was over this place had gold angels weaved into the material. Why? Because if God's going to be anywhere, the celestials are going to be there.

Side note, if that's the case, God knew absolutely what he was asking for man to do. One of the talids that I read, it's it's the you got the you got the Torah, you got the Pentatuk, the first five books, the writing of it, but you had two ways that the law could be done. Number one, it could be spoken or it could be written. The Torah was the written, the Talmud was the spoken, and they would speak the law and it would be passed on.

That's why Deuteronomy says what? You talk about it when you lay down, when you get up, when you sit at the table, when you leave, when you walk, when you come in, it's on the doorpost, it's on the frontlets, it's on your arm. Why? Because if you repeat this law long enough, what's it going to become? Part of who you are. So, I'm looking at this, what was spoken, what was written, and I'm trying to understand it. One of the translators said there possibly according to the oral explanation that was passed from generation to generation, possibly these angels, if the children of Israel were out of sorts with God, these angels would move.

Now, it's not in the King James that way, but keep in mind this was only the information that the King approved of. Not getting caught up in the weeds here. I'm just going to tell you there's a lot of stuff in here that ain't there. There's a lot of stuff there that ain't there. But we have what we need here. That's why you got to study to show yourself, okay? Got to get in there, figure out, dig it around, scratch around.

Why is this here? With that said, I I began to say, why would the angels move? How could they have moved? What difference does it move make that they may have moved? Understanding some of the recent translations, writings, correspondence, concordances, those books would have been greatly influenced by Gentiles. Agreed? And so we may or may not have the pure unadulterated written law. We may have some influence from others.

For an example, years ago, there was a teaching about the high priest would go into the holy of holies and he would have pomegranates with seeds and he'd have bales around the the skirt. Is that right? Of his of his outfit, his ensemble. And you have a rope around his foot. You may hear that one. Why? If he died, they'd have to pull him out. The Gentiles added that. That was not God's. God had no need for that. He would not let them pass through if they had sin.

No, you're not coming in here. The Gentiles added that piece. Now, there were bales. There was a blue hymn. Absolutely. They made the garment according to what it was needed. But there's no need for a rope in case he dies to pull him out. I was taught that my whole growing up years and I began to research and said, "No, that's that's a farce. There's no way God would let that high priest in there." And I asked this while I was talking about the veil a couple months ago.

How long did the high priest have to stand there outside the veil at the altar of incense and wait to go in? Five minutes, five hours? We don't know. It doesn't say. All it says is the time when he come out, man, he's the only guy. He's in the presence. He's in he's in with God. This thing right here, listen to me. The reason that this is the first part that's talked about when God explains to Moses, this is what I need you to do.

That mercy seat is why I am interested in this. All of the rest of it is going to encompass this. But you got to get this piece right first because if you've got this right, then everything else about it is going to come together. Somebody wants to try to tell you in 2025 that everybody's going to go to heaven and and all of us are God's children and we're all going to make it and and then what it's a great idea, but it's not at all biblical.

I've said this from from years, good people don't go to heaven. Saved people do. You know, I've had people, man, they good people. You know, they only cuss a little. I'm okay then what's the scale of good to there you know what I'm saying here's the thing the focal point of everything that happened in this tent was here Sunday I I mentioned to you about the the armies if you will of Israel from all the tribes but the Levites do you want to know what all of the other the Amalocites The Hittites.

You want to know what they wanted? This because this represented Jehovah l Elohim. This did. The altar of incense did not. The table of shoebre did not. This is what they wanted. And so when the high priest went into the dwelling place, this is what he was doing his ministry on. As you see the power and presence of God I'm watching the clock. We're okay. As you see the power and presence of God working with amongst men.

Why is the it's it's in it's in what we just read in Exodus. Somebody riddle me this Batman. Why is this thing called the mercy seat? Could not have been called a throne of God. uh simply the presence of God. Why is it called the mercy seat? Any takers? And that's what he calls it. Make me a mercy seat. Why? Okay. Ask me. I don't know. Um, great question. Now, this seat was called mercy because people are people are people.

And humans have a really good way of messing stuff up. Anybody here ever messed something up? Dakota, wait. Yeah. Okay, there go. Um, we mess stuff up, don't we? Hey, we can walk off a stage out of an altar speaking in tongues full of the Holy Ghost, trip and fall and sin, transgression, and all the junk smack us right in the face. Why? Because we're human and God gave us the ability to choose. And the beauty of having a choice as humans is you then have a memory and then you remember what the mess ups you had and although he forgives you of sins and washes you whiter than snow.

What happens when the enemy comes back and knocks on your door? Come on. How many times have you explained to somebody, put the sin under the blood and leave it there? Do you know that the devil cannot reach through the blood of Jesus and pull your sin out? How does the devil know you had that sin? you pulled it out. The only way it comes out because and God knew that about us. And there's one thing that humanity needs more than anything.

And God said, I'm going to make it the focal point of everything. I am going to show you mercy. And when the fire is coming out of the top of this thing and it's a pillar and it's just burning hot or the this pillar of cloud is coming out of this thing and the presence of God is here, everybody that sees it knows mercy is applied to your life. Mercy. The only reason we need mercy, listen to this, is because God gave us laws.

Anybody ever hear the old saying, ignorance is bliss? You know what that means? Man, I had people before, y'all probably haven't, but I I' I've come across some interesting folk. I I don't want to hear about the I don't want to hear about that because if I hear about it, then I'm going to be held accountable for it. Well, that don't make no sense, does it, Tim? No, don't be don't tell me that because then I have to be, you know, then I have to know about it.

You know, just I don't want to know. Okay. If I told you there was a cure for cancer, would you want to know about it? I'm just saying. Here's the thing. Everything Oh, this is so good. Everything about God's desire in the tabernacle of the congregation was he told Moses, "Moses, I will show mercy to my people. They do not deserve to be my people. They are stiff necked. They stumble and fall." Listen, they had come out.

Moses is up on the mountain and what's the children of Israel doing? Dancing around the calf that they built. And it's FUNNY THEN WHEN THEY ASK AARON ABOUT IT, THE HIGH PRIEST, the high priest who's about to get experience like this, what happened? And I put this gold in and poof, his calf come out. It's as if it just appeared. How many know you can't appear a calf? Somebody's going to have to Are you with me? AND THAT'S THE PEOPLE GOD'S DEALING WITH.

It shouldn't be strange at all to us then in 2025 that to get folks to come to church every Sunday and every midweek university and all the prayer meetings and all that. That's a great challenge. Why? Because humans need mercy. That's why I say it a thousand times. If the doors open, I got to be here. Why? Because I need more mercy than you. I guess I know how messed up I can get, how messed up I can be. And y'all might already have wings out there fluttering around, but I don't.

I have never knocked my halo off. Now, some of y'all, yeah, I got two. God made certain. Moses, listen to me. Moses, listen to me. Moses, they are stiff necked people. They're prideful. They want to do what they want to do, but I want to be their God. And I want to know if they want to be my people. If they do and we come to this connection, we come to this covenant, it is all going to be based and all going to circle around one word and that is mercy.

Anybody here thankful for mercy? So thankful for mercy. in the Holy of Holies every year when that day of atonement would come. What the high priest was 100% basing everything that had been done up to the point where he's standing there with the sacrifice and blood and he's standing there with the incense. He wants to make sure 100% that mercy once again is applied to the people. Let's quickly go. I'm watching my clock.

Exodus chapter 40. Notice notice this right here. Verse number 17. It came to pass in the first month in the second year on the first day of the month that the tabernacle was reared up. Everybody said they put it together. Say they put the tabernacle together. They assembled it. They reared it up. Moses reared up the tabernacle. Fastened the sockets. Set up the boards thereof. put the bars thereof, reared up its pillars.

He spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, putting the cover over the tent above upon upon it as the Lord had commanded Moses. Notice this is Exodus 40:20. And he took and put the testimony into the ark and set the staves on the ark and put the mercy seat upon the ark. Brought the ark into the tabernacle and set up the veil of the covering. Cover the ark of the testimony as the Lord commanded Moses. So the question is this.

Moses is simply the one who went in the presence of God on Mount Si. God spoke to him, gave him all what was needed. This, this, this, and this. This is what you do. And then God puts wisdom, knowledge, and understanding into the men to be the the the smiths, the goldsmith, the silver smith, all of that to to work with their hands and the fine linens and the badger skins and all that stuff. And then once they finished it, the Bible gives us then here in Exodus 40, as Moses would write, now it's time to put this thing together.

And the very first piece that went into the tent was this, the ark of the covenant with the mercy seat and the angels. Why? And then from there they built out. Why do you think that would have been the first piece? most important. Absolutely. What else? We just talked about it. Do what? Say it again. It was the most important piece. And then secondly, once they put the veil up, it's out of sight now. You can't see it now.

Unless you're the high priest on the day of atonement. Listen to me. There are so many things, if you're taking notes, you can write this. Feel feel free. There are so many things about God that are hidden and you're not ever going to know them until you get to a position to where you pray yourself to a place where God will reveal things to you. I know many of us in this room, you have taught somebody, you've instructed them a Bible study, just a a a conversation and instantly revelation come and that person look at you and say, "I know the Bible, but I have never in my life heard that.

Why do you think that just happened? You think you just all of a sudden got a big pool of wisdom and just it just came out? What do you think happened?" God was saying, "I just took what you said and so in the tabernacle of the congregation in the Holy of Holies, Moses, listen to me. Put the boards up, put the tent covering over it, set the ark in there, put the pieces inside it." We're going to talk about those in a week or so.

Put the pieces inside it that I tell you to put in there. Put the lid on it. Make sure the sticks are there on it. Put the angels on there. Back away. hang the veil and leave it. I'll show it to the high priest one time a year. So, you better make listen to me. You better make sure that it's perfectly right. You better make sure it's perfectly right. On that particular day, Moses was putting together everything that would be needed in order for the people of God to be able to make the sacrifice, do all that they did to cleanse themselves from with a sin offering, a trespass offering, a wave offering, a heave offering, depending on the transgression or the sin, or if they were simply bringing a wave offering to him, it was because they were celebrating something.

Whatever those were, it was this is where they wanted it to go. Can't go there. You can't bring that sheep here and put it there. You can't bring that turtle dove in here and bring it there. You can't bring that flower or that wheat and heave or wave it. You can't put it there. Listen to me. This is not for you in your daily sin. What you're supposed to do is daily. If the sin and transgression and all that stuff hits you, if you face it, if you've touched blood, if you've done unclean things or whatever, you know what you need to do for that for yourself and your family?

You need to bring that sacrifice to the tent opening. You need to make sure you tell the priest what you're doing. You need to slice the throat of that cow or that sheep or that goat. And you need to let them take that inside there and do it. And then you need to step back and say, "Lord, what I've done against you, I am making a sacrifice to cover it." At that point, you have fulfilled the law. Listen to me. You have done what the law required.

But imagine if you will, there were, how many men of war did I say Sunday? 600 3,550. That's just from the age of 20 that could go to war. That was not the children, the babies, nor the ladies. the females, none of that. So, it's 3 million. Imagine all the sin, transgressions, the happy people. My My daughter got married, so I'm bringing a wave offering. She married a good guy, I'm bringing handfuls. I'm joking. She married a guy that ain't worth having.

I'm joking. I'm joking. a joke. Some of y'all are wondering what would have mine been anyway. But on that one day, don't you laugh at me. On that one day of atonement, the yam kipur, on that day, listen to me, every sacrifice ever brought that year by anybody in the camp, they followed the law. But it was irrelevant if that day of atonement the fire of God didn't fall. Didn't matter. The Bible says they stood in their tent doors watching watching what God was going to do.

Now my my time is almost up. Listen carefully. This box had such power, glory, anointing, purpose. I mean, it's it's gorgeous. Again, this is a depiction. This is what somebody drew. The angels. I mean, it's gorgeous. It's beautiful. But this is no longer us. We don't have this in a gold box anymore. If you've got one, would you let me know? No. Okay. Thank you, AG. We don't have this anymore. What do we have now? You ready for it?

Come on. The day Jesus died on the cross, what happened? The veil was what? From indicating the hand of God. And now, guess who got to see the ark? Tada. Now, some of y'all are like, "Man, this is so Old Testamenty stuff. This don't have nothing to do with me today." You better believe it does because Jesus said, "My flesh separated you from mercy. But I'm going to rent my flesh. I'm going to tear this f. It's going to die.

And when this flesh dies, I I will become mercy. And the glory will rest upon you, on you, in you. You will make your body a living sacrifice. You will make yourself a place where I can come and dwell. You think this tabernacle deal we've been talking about all year is just a halfaphazard set of instructions. No, friend. Everything Jesus is about. Everything Jesus was ever going to be about was about mercy. About mercy.

Because without mercy in your life, YOU'RE NOT GOING TO MAKE IT. you are not going to make it. So needless to say, last month Sam is tearing me up with this priest and and this KING AND ALL THIS AND I'M LOOKING THROUGH THAT AND I'M SAYING, "But that is so difficult to understand because I wasn't alive in Mesopotamia. My only experience with a king or a queen is the crown. Boom. Sorry. I don't understand any of that.

But yet, I can look at my Jesus, all power in heaven and earth. He can speak into my life. He can wake me up and he can meet me at a men's prayer meeting at 6:00 a.m. on a Wednesday morning. He can meet me at lunchtime when I'm sitting there blessing my food and my spirit's quickened because somebody's had a need come over my phone and I can I don't have to wait to make sure the cows kept and separated or the goats set apart 14 day.

I don't have to work. What I can do is I CAN SIMPLY SPEAK JESUS AND MERCY COMES. WE WE CAN'T FORGET THE FACT THAT THIS BOX, this place, this moving power of God is representation of what God's desire was for them and for us. Last thing, at 7:46, they'll be coming down the hallway disrupting everything. Here's my question. And I've often wondered and maybe I don't know maybe I shouldn't think wonder this high priest comes back through the veil pauses.

The smell of incense is still there. The golden candlesticks are still burning. The shoebre smell is still there. He turns and he walks out of the holy place. He pushes back the curtain, steps out into the inner outer court, and he's standing there. C can I ask you a question? What do you think? This is me. I I'd be like, "Hey, Aaron, listen. I know you was busy and all in there, but what was it? How was it? I'm with U Chhattanooga Times Free Press and I've got a thing a little diddy I'm doing on the on the you give me a testimony about what it was about.

Fill me in on the details. I don't want to that be me. Huh? until the high priest started talking. And I'd be like, "Oh, no. I ain't at all ready for that." It was so bad at one time with Moses that what' they have to do to his face? We can't even look at the glory. Woo. And you wonder sometimes why you come into an apostolic service and the power of Jesus Christ smacks you to the floor and you can't get up because he's so real and thick in there and he can move and he can speak and your body can be healed.

Your mind can be transformed. I believe that mercy is what we all need. I I I I am I am convinced that there are some sicknesses and diseases amongst the people of God that should not be there. By his stripes you might be healed. Is that what it says? Are So why then are there sicknesses and diseases? This is THE AGE OLD QUESTION. I'M GOING TO ARM WRESTLE THIS ONE. Try to figure it out. I can tell you this. If we truly understood the power of mercy, I believe God can create new things in our bodies.

He can create blood cells. He can create tissue. Come on. I've seen him create eyeballs. I watched that one with my own eyeballs. Guy with nothing in his sockets and all of a sudden, I watch that one. I'm black. But the problem is not God. The problem is faith to believe in his mercy. Stand with me. When we do things according to God's plan, Moses was 110% sold out on his experience on Mount Si. So much so that when he came down, he said, "What'd he say?"

Joshua, what do you hear, buddy? Sounds like war. Mm- sound like celebration. Sound like they're having a good time. Let's go find out. And when he walked down there at the base of the mountain, what did he find? Again, we danced around a golden cap. What did Moses do with the handwritten, fingerwritten law of God? He did what? Why? The very idea. That's so disrespectful. That's so unfair. He probably should have just took it over and set it down on the table and then went and Moses knew, I cannot expose them to this.

They are standing here flatfooted with everything that's on these tables and they have gone against every one of them. And before I let them die in this place, because God was going to kill them all, I'm going to break this. Now, let's deal with this. You understand? The next trip up the mountain was with what? Hey, Moses. I need you to come back, buddy. But you're going to lug these tables up here, and you're going to lug them back down.

Pray with me. Lord, I love you, and I'm so thankful for mercy. I'm so thankful the law of God is right. I'm thankful for the blood of Jesus Christ that washes and cleanses us. Thankful for the blood of Jesus that covers a multitude of sins. Thank you for that. I'm thankful, Lord God, that you spoke this entire plan to the man Moses, Lord, and then the children of Israel fabricated, did it, accomplished it, and then Lord, you came and you received their sacrifice and offering tonight.

Lord, we're simply trying to look into the lens of what you would have for us in 2025. And really, Lord, the only thing we can see that's important to us, Lord, is your mercy. because the veil was torn. The tabernacle's no more. But Lord, you have made us a dwelling place now. And mercy is what we need to cleanse us and wash us. We are now the tabernacle of the Lord. You You've asked. Thank him. Come on. All the details, everything's worked out exactly how he's worked it.

Come on, somebody. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord God, that you've saved me, that you've washed me, that you've cleansed me, Lord, that you've made me new, that you've opened my heart, Lord. You've cleansed me of my sin, and you've come in, Lord, and now you you live in me. Thank you, Lord Jesus, that your mercy works. Oh, the dwelling place of the most high is right here now, Jesus. And I thank you for that. Come on, somebody.

As they gather in here, lift holy hands to the Lord right now. Would you? Come on. Without wrath or doubting, just lift them to the Lord. I don't doubt your plan. It's perfect. I'm going to embrace it, Lord, and love you and trust you. Blessed be the name of the Lord most high. I bless your name and worship you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord. I thank you, Lord. I thank you Lord Jesus. Oh, I thank you Lord. I thank you Lord.

Amen. Somebody say in Jesus name. We're going to transition here. Give us about five or six minutes and they'll turn off.
