Summary

Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.

Everybody wants to win

  • God has not moved or changed his position; the Creator placed within every person a desire to succeed, to win, and to be an overcomer.
  • We are all in the midst of a battle — some fighting for sanity, some for healing, some for a success story — holding on to hope that victory will be the outcome.
  • God has said he will never leave us nor forsake us, and the Lord is our helper, yet the battle and the process are still real.

Ask anything in my name — but the answer may not come as planned

  • Believers embrace the promise that whatever is asked in Jesus' name will be done, yet have asked and not received it the way they planned — that does not make God a liar or unfaithful.
  • We often pray with the answer already in our minds and ask God to simply pull the trigger; sometimes nothing happens as expected, only to discover God was working on things we did not even pray for.
  • The mature prayer yields to the process: nevertheless, not my will but thine be done — life can feel like sitting in a theater watching your own life unfold, unsure how it will turn out.

Scriptures: John 14

Korah rose up against God's appointed order

  • In Numbers 16, Korah of the Levites sowed discord among the priests and people because he decided Aaron and his family were getting more blessed than he was.
  • God demonstrated who he was with through the test of the rods — Aaron's rod budded and grew almonds.
  • At the word of God through Moses, the ground opened and swallowed Korah, Dathan, and Abiram and those with them; God did not make a mistake appointing Aaron, and it was not Korah's place to decide it was his turn.

Scriptures: Numbers 16

Notwithstanding, the children of Korah died not

  • Ten chapters later, Numbers 26 records the detail that changes everything: Korah paid the price for his uprising, but his children did not die.
  • The lineage of Korah survived and stayed connected to the tribe of Levi — God judged the rebellion and at the same time showed mercy to the generation after it.

Scriptures: Numbers 26

Psalms written for the sons of Korah

  • Psalm 42 through Psalm 49 are given unto the sons of Korah — the descendants of the man who despised the Lord's plan received songs.
  • David, the psalmist who understood relationship with God, writing for the sons of Korah demonstrates God's mercy, plan, and purpose working in the middle of a family's worst history.
  • The sins of the fathers do not have to define the children; mercy is new every day, and no one has to point to a previous generation to explain why they must fall the same way.

Scriptures: Psalms 42; Psalms 49

Shout unto God with the voice of triumph

  • Psalm 47 opens with a command, not a request: "O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph."
  • Triumph does not mean a polite golf clap; it means leap to your feet, shout as loud as you can, and declare the victory — a bravo and an encore after witnessing what God has done.
  • Jesus is victorious over death, hell, and the grave; the trophy hung on a cross, and through the blood of Jesus a person can walk out of the tomb and live in newness of life.
  • A man who had spent the past week in a hospital bed, unsure whether he would get up, stood in the house of the Lord while his son stood beside him and shouted the triumph for him — one example of many.
  • God's plan, purpose, and promise are always right; the church's closing posture is testimony — we are witnesses of his goodness and mercy — and daily praise that remembers we are overcomers in him.

But the word today, I believe God has brought us to this point intentionally. Um, I am certain that God is okay with his position today. Uh, by the way, he hasn't moved. He hasn't transitioned. He hasn't walked left or right. He's perfectly fine where he is. Amen. Somebody say, "I'm so glad." So glad. Does any anybody in this room today, does anybody here like to win? You like to win? Would you raise your hand and wave it? Come on. Come on. Act like you really mean it.

I like I like like to win. I like to win. Is there anybody here today that just loves the feeling of losing? Yeah, Aussie, I knew you would. Very used to it. I guess we we are a as humans, we enjoy a good bout of victory. It's in our nature. We want to succeed. We like the fight, but further we love the win. There's no greater feeling than when you accomplish the task at hand and then you stand in that moment with the accomplishment and the success of winning over whatever you came against.

When the last whistle blows, the final score is announced. I win. Anybody ever done that? Come on. If you won a million dollars today, how would you act? Who? No idea. I got you. In our lives, we are people who want to be overcomers in whatever situation we face. Agreed? Self-help books. There's all kind of podcasts, there's counseling, there's counselors, there's non-sounseling and non-counselor. I mean, there's all kind of things today that whatever the situation, whatever the field of play, whatever the office, whatever the the location, could be at a table with a game.

I don't know. Winning is worth talking about. In fact, losing is not much worth talking about. You don't get trophies for losing. Hey, to the worst player. I'd have a whole stack of those. How about you? Maybe that's why they don't do that. So, what I'm talking about today for humanity is nothing really new. There's no real flashing lights or grander things to share about humanity. But the truth of the matter is the creator of all things placed within every single one of us a desire to be successful and to win, to be an overcomer.

And we embrace that. We we love that feeling. The trophies on our shelves, they proclaim that. We we we show our satisfaction. Listen, by the clothes you wear. Anybody here have a jersey of your favorite team? Yeah. Nobody wears a jersey of their worst hateful team. Yeah. This is something I put on when I'm in a bad mood. No. Because the feeling that God has blessed us gives us the opportunity to share with other people our jubilance. Look at this. Yeah. My team won. Yeah. My team Yeah.

And when when your team loses maybe next time, right? Yeah. We're here today in this place. We are all in the midst of a battle. Look at your neighbor and ask them, "Are you fighting today? Yeah, some are fighting for their sanity. Others are searching for their healing. Still others are very hungry for a success story in their life. THE THE BATTLE THAT RAGES in our lives. It's a real challenge and we face disappointments and difficulties and struggles. IT'S ALL VERY real to us. Somebody in this room might be looking at a problem right in the face and you do not know what the outcome is going to be.

But yet your hope remains in your arms in a tight grasp as tight as you can because somewhere inside of you there is a ray of hope that victory will be the outcome. you're you're okay if you if you suffer through the process, but somehow someway after all is said and done, you've accepted the fact that there's issues. You've you feel that there there's something in the lot that you've drawn and you be begin to dream dreams for a miracle. You pray for the miraculous TO HAPPEN AND YOU HOLD ON TO IT ALTHOUGH YOU DON'T yet see it.

come to declare to somebody today, listen to pastor very closely. Life happens in spite of what you think. Oh, there you go. You woke up this morning and your day started. Ready or not, you make choices and then you take your places in those choices. You sit right now in this room or you're online, wherever you're located. You you've arrived at the place where you are because of an incredible amount of unknowns that became knowns in your daytoday walk in life. You know that somewhere out there there is victory and you are hungry for it.

You don't know you don't know how it's going to come. You don't really know how it will unfold. But in the middle of it, you want to be a winner. You don't want the pain. You don't want the suffering. YOU WANT YOUR FACE TO SMILE BECAUSE IT FEELS better than when it frowns. You want to know that joy and laughter is easier to live through than suffering and sadness. You know, I I enjoy a good joke. You all know that a pastor once in a while I'll pick on somebody.

Um it's because I feel like in myself, of course, I inherited that from my father. But the fact is is I I know there's a lot of things in life that are bad, negative, gross, and ugly. So if I can learn to laugh in some of my situations, it it it it helps the medicine go down. Life life happens. Happens to all of us. when when we don't know what else to do, when we're not really sure how to act, when we're not really sure what position we're in, in in the things that's transpiring in our lives, we do know and understand that life happens.

Here's a question I pose to you today. Are you okay with the process? And are you okay with the changes that will come through the process that you are in right now? Hold on to me a minute. You know that God is on your side. But you also know as has been stated already, you're in the middle of a process and you are sure that you're sure that you're sure the word of God does not lie. Anybody here TODAY CAN IDENTIFY? YOU KNOW THAT. YOU KNOW THAT.

You know that you have built a foundation upon that understanding and you are firm in your knowledge THAT SAYS IF GOD IS FOR ME, who will be against me? AND YET YOU STILL BATTLE. Look at the writer to the Hebrews in chapter number 13 verse 5. Let your conversation be without covetousness. Be content with such things as you have. For he hath said, listen to this, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee, so that we may boldly say, the Lord is my helper. I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Anybody thrilled about that verse? HE IS OUR HELPER TODAY. Some of us are still trying to figure out what I'm talking about. Hold on to me for just a moment. I know that. I know that. I know I'm in the Holy Ghost today. I know that. I know that God will always be with us. God will always be our helper. He will always be on time, right time, his time. But the fact still remains, we struggle, we wrestle, we battle, we move forward, we go back, we want THE VICTORY BECAUSE WE LIKE TO WIN.

WE WANT TO WIN. But when the midst of the battle begins to to surround us and the heat of the the SMOKE AND ALL THE DUST AND THE THING, WE'RE EXHAUSTED IN THE MIDST OF THE BATTLE. You can lose sight with the results that are coming. Have you ever prayed a prayer with the answer already in your mind? Lord, just in case, I'm gonna run this by you, then you can go ahead and pull the trigger and make this happen. Come on, somebody. And then you find out it turned out completely different than you hoped it would.

There's a wall back there, a bulletin board back bulletin board you corkboard back there on that table. Brother Tim, point to that sign right there. That there you go. It's right there in case you didn't know that. That that that's where we're praying for our backslid backsliders. Backsliding family, friends, loved ones, and all. And sometimes you can pray for a name on that list. And in your brain, you can see here they oh, they're going to come through the door. They're going they're going to walk down the aisle.

They're going to sache down the altar. They're going to begin to love the Lord. Kumbaya going to come out of their mouth. They're going to hum and God's going to touch. I CAN JUST SEE IT NOW. AFTERWARDS, WE'LL GO TO LUNCH TOGETHER and we'll Anybody ever pray those kind of prayers and then never happens. I'm not saying your prayers are short, weak, wrong. I'm just saying we all have experienced the fact that sometimes we pray, we ask, we ask God to intervene and it don't happen the way we think only to discover though that somewhere along the way in some kind of tradition, some kind of manner, I don't know how it is, God is working ON THINGS THAT WE DIDN'T EVEN PRAY FOR.

We didn't even ask God for it. Have you ever prayed with the outcome in your mind and you did not ask for God's will to be done because according to your wishes, you already had the will to do what you know needed done? God, I simply need for you to move in this manner and and I need you to function like I'm asking. And if you'll do that, we'll all be happy and we'll all be okay. And all the while, God's saying, "Are you sure that's how you want me to answer that prayer?" Listen to me.

I'm sure in this room there, this place is full of testimonies of the miraculous way that God has moved in your situation. I know that some of you would even say, "I knew that it would turn out okay if God was in it." Some of you might even declare, "I wasn't sure, BUT I WAS I'M ALMOST CERTAIN that God was going to move in this circumstance." And then you begin to look back at the the facts of the matter, how things begin to unfold. And there is no way at all that you could have begged your way into that answer.

You simply had to adjust your thoughts and understanding to say, "God, I'm going to pray about this and then I'm going to give it to you, and if you're going to make it a process, I want to yield myself through the pro. Nevertheless, NOT MY WILL BUT THINE BE DONE." WHY? BECAUSE THE end result OF MY PRAYER, I DON'T YET KNOW IT. IT MIGHT NOT EVER come out the way I thought it WOULD, BUT GOD, IF YOU'RE IN IT, IT'S GOING TO BE JUST FINE. I'M GOING TO BE ALL RIGHT.

THEY'RE GOING TO MAKE IT SOMEHOW. I MIGHT NOT SEE THAT BACKSLIDING FAMILY MEMBER COME IN. UH, BUT SOMEWHERE DOWN THE ROAD, GOD, UH, YOU'RE GOING TO MOVE A MOUNTAIN. UH, YOU'RE GOING TO SHIFT AND TRANSITION A PATH AND ANSWERS WILL COME. AND I'M OKAY WITH THAT. What about when God answers a prayer, then you're faced with something else? There's joy right there, huh? Some of y'all pray for that big old big old stingray vet sitting your driveway. Woo! Look at that $15,000 a month payment, but it's it's on 50-year note.

I'm good. Only to find out you can't afford the insurance. Boy, that's nice, huh? You can tell all your neighbor, "Yeah, this is mine. This here's mine. That's it. Look at there. Hey, can I go for a ride? No. Hey, can you No. Are you going to start it? No. How much it costs to start this thing? Listen to me. When things begin to turn out in a situation that you're praying for, you don't know what else to do. Somehow, some way, you decide within yourself, I will gather myself together.

I will make my way to the house of the Lord. And when I get in the house of the Lord, I will lift my hands. I will open my mouth and I will begin to love the Lord in the midst of the unknown. Listen to me. And if it turns out the way I think, that's fine. But if God's got another plan in mind, he knows the way that I take. He is leading me every step that I make. Therefore, I am content in him that he knows my name.

He has numbered the hairs of my head. He's given me purpose and he's given me principles that I will live by. WHY? I KNOW. HEAR ME TODAY. I am not being calloused. I'M NOT BEING THOUGHTLESS TODAY, BUT I AM PAINTING a picture OF US AS HUMANITY. WE UNDERSTAND every day. We're learning and we're growing. UH WE ARE TRYING TO MAKE HEAVEN OUR HOME AND the struggle is real. Allow me a moment today, would you please? It's 107 for you clock watchers. Many times we live our day with a certain amount of expectation.

Did anybody crawl out of bed today on accident? I didn't say fall out of bed. I said crawl out of bed. I have fallen brother Herb on accident. I didn't know I until I woke up. You get up, you get dressed, you get coffee, you get coffee again. Get No, you get the others up. You get them going. You get the tribe off to their day so they can go get their things done. Get the day moving for yourself. You get that done. You get this done.

You get the other thing done. Then you get the next part done. And then once you get that done, you get the things done. And then you get into bed. And then you get up tomorrow and you do it again. Somebody say again. Again. I I know that it's a basic outline of your day, but I think you understand and get the drift of what I'm talking about. And then all of a sudden obstacles arise in the midst of what your plans are. AND THE PROCESSES they change and they alter.

And you didn't want that flat tire. You didn't want to lose that job. YOU DIDN'T DESIRE TO HAVE TO PAY THAT extra bill. AND SOMEHOW THROUGH THE PROCESS OF GOING through your dayto-day activities, YOU HAVE PRAYED, "GOD, HELP ME THROUGH THIS SITUATION. I NEED YOU, LORD. I I KNOW, GOD, THAT YOUR WAY IS RIGHT. I KNOW THAT you're here. I know YOU'RE LEADING ME, BUT SOMEHOW SOMEWAY I CANNOT see the answer. It It's almost sometimes, please just give me some lateral here just a moment. It's almost sometimes that we are sitting in a theater and we are watching with the rest of the world our life unfold.

We are sitting here and we can see what's going on in our lives. Anybody understand what a theater is? Oh, I'm sorry. This is New Generosity. Oh, you're sitting on your couch. What? No. This is a theater where you got to act like you're somebody and you're watching this thing unfold in front of you and you're a spectator in the midst of the process. I I I've been there before. I've seen myself in the midst of stuff and wonder how in the world did I get here?

How is this going to turn out to make any sense at all? Is there any way to see victory in this? Is there any way that I'll be an overcomer once this is said and done? Can I survive this? And it's like you're watching life unfold in front of you and you're not really sure how things are going to transpire. You know you're blessed. You know God's good to you. You ask God to COME INTO YOUR LIFE. Some of us listen to me. I love us.

I know that that that as humans, man, we got things going on. But some of us pray a prayer. GOD, WOULD YOU COME DO MAGIC? Come on. We even sing songs about do what you can do. Come and do it, Lord. It's who you are. Because we understand through the word that God moves in situations and he's activated in certain circumstances and in certain principles. And somehow we want God to COME IN WITH A MAGIC WAND. And as we watch our lives unfold from our seed in life, we're trying to say, "God, is there any way that I CAN SEE THE VICTORY IN THIS SO THAT I CAN BE SEEN AS a winner and victorious?" After all, John 14 and13.

Listen to this. I know we know this one. And whatsoever ye ask shall ask in my name, that will I do that the father may be glorified in the son. Listen, you know this. If you ask anything in my name, anybody know this verse? Read it with me out loud. If you shall ask anything in my name, then why the struggle? Why the process? Facts are the same. You have asked for something in Jesus name. And you have even WRAPPED YOUR ARMS AND EMBRACED THIS scripture in John.

I've done it. You've done it. We've asked for something in Jesus name. and then it did not happen the way that we planned it. Does that make God a liar? Does that make God untruth and unfruitful and unfaithful in our lives because we DIDN'T GET EVERYTHING THAT WE ASKED FOR? THAT'S WHAT THE VERSE SAYS. Some of us have frustrated ourselves because again in our hearts and in our minds we are sitting on the sideline or we're sitting in the theater of our lives and we are watching things happen AND WHEN WE PRAY GOD LET THIS BECOME A GOOD THING.

Let this be a great outlet. Let something positive happen and something and you fall AND YOU AND YOU'RE LIKE GOD YOU DID NOT HEAR ME. I I dare say today, I won't ask for a show of hands, but I dare say today that there are many of us in this place that have guilted oursel into a corner because we aren't worthy of God's attention. We know he loves us, but he doesn't want us. And we've struggled THROUGH THINGS. WE WATCH IT UNFOLD IN FRONT OF US.

Y'ALL still with me today? 112 for us clock watchers? I'm I'm gonna keep you posted. something that happens in life. Come on. If this were the first time you've ever faced this challenge, it'd be one thing. But many of us face it multiple ways and in multiple things. Is anybody's life, have you ever been just simply living life and it just blow up? I've heard more recently than than than before, maybe because I'm more attuned and listening that some have even said, "Man, the last year has been the worst year of my life." These past six months have been terrible and horrible because of this or that or that.

Just when I thought I was getting over this, this happened and now just when I saw that then this happened and my job and but this happened and things are happening in life. Please understand where I'm coming from. We are flesh and blood. Somebody say that's me. And because we are flesh and blood, we are well aable to have a sinful nature and to be selfish and self-centered in many things. I rise to this podium today with a remedy. I want to present this to us today.

What if God were actually as he says he is? Hold on to me a moment. He's perfect and he's righteous. He's detailed and he's determined. He's loving and he's compassionate. He's faithful and he's longsuffering. What if God were all that we know he is in his word? What if we understood then that his ways and his reasons are intentional and it's not a haphazard mess that he is somehow someway trying to put back together? What if you really did trust God and you knew that he was working in your life?

Give me just a moment. the book of Numbers in your Bible, chapter number 16. I won't read it. I' I've referenced it a few weeks ago. It gives the account of the uprising of a portion of the Levites and the workers, the tabernacle at that time. Kora was his name. He was of the tribe of the Levites. The scripture tells us there in numbers chapter number 16 that he began to sow discord amongst the priests and amongst the people of Israel and because ONLY BECAUSE HE DECIDED that Aaron and his kids were getting more blessed than he and his family were getting blessed and didn't understand it.

You can go to Numbers 16 and read this whole account. AND THEN WE TALKED ABOUT how that there was a test if you will. There was a demonstration, if you will, how that God said, "Okay, everybody bring your rod and we'll put them in the tabernacle and in the morning I'll come back." And the one that is demonstrated, it will be the evidence of who God is with. And lo and behold, it was Aaron's rod that budded and grew almonds. You know that story? We talked about it not long ago.

And in the midst of that, because of what Kora and Aberam and Dayathan, what they had said and what the uprising that they had brought and what they had said against Aaron and Moses, and at the word of God to Moses, God said, "I need you to bring them to the tent doors or where they live." And when they had done so, the whole camp is wondering that the tribe of Reuben and Dan and AND THESE OTHER TRIBE, SIMEON, THEY'RE OUT HERE AND THEY'RE WATCHING WHAT'S GOING ON.

Follow me a moment. And in the doors of their tents, the scripture tells us in numbers 16 THAT THE GROUND OPENED up and it swallowed them in. Some some couple of hundred of people JUST DISAPPEARED IN THE M ALL BECAUSE THEY BE discord in the house of God. Aaron is God's man. He's the one that is the high priest. God is sure and faithful in his design. He did not make a mistake with appointing Aaron as the high priest and it was not for Kora to decide that it's my turn to rise there and get more than anybody else did.

ANYBODY UNDERSTAND THIS STORY? NOW, I REALIZE IT'S an Old Testament story and and in many of this, we look at the Old Testament accounts and they don't apply to us today because we don't have a tabernacle like they have or perhaps we don't drag animals to the church and slay them on an altar and so it's not the same indication. Yes, it is. Kora and his comrades, they paid the price because of their uprising. But I want you to notice something. If you'll go 10 chapters forward to the book of Numbers, chapter number 26, there is a detail of the uprising that makes a difference.

Numbers 26 and 11 says this. Notwithstanding, the children of Kora died not. Kora and the other guys paid the price. But there was a lineage from Kora. The scripture says they lived and survived. They were still connected to the Levitical tribe. Kora had sinned against God was swallowed up with everything that he had and those around him swallowed up with that. But though the people rose UP AND AND THEY TRIED TO OVERCOME God's plan, God said TO THEM, "I'LL NOT STAND for it. In fact, I'll demonstrate how I can do things and the earth took them out of place.

People who rose up, God took care of them. God dealt with them. But God also showed mercy to them. I rise to this podium today with an intent. The generation after Kora somehow someway survived. Let me explain to you how this worked. If you go into the book of the psalm, David was the majority of the author of Psalm because he was the poetic one. He understood relationship with God. He knew how to connect with God. He had a this this imagination, if you will, this revelation, if you will, of how God could do things.

And the Bible tells us in Psalm 42 through Psalm 49, unto the sons of Kora, it's very specific here. God gave mercy to the sons of the ones who despised the Lord's plan. David begins to make reference to them. Psalm 47. If you were to open your Bible right now before you read verse number one, you would simply see this. To the chief musician, a psalm for the sons of Kora. I have no doubt that God has a plan for all of us. And I am certain that when Kora and his cohorts began to rise up against God, God said, "I I've got a way to deal with you." What God's pleasure and his mercy and his provision for humanity is demonstrated to us when David said, "I'm going to write a song." And in 42, take your time, read through it, word by word, find how the harmonies and the melodies begin to move.

that God is a God that has a plan and a purpose and you're in the middle of it. I rise to this table today and I simply tell you that in chapter number 47 the way that they translated the words and they put it into a con a conical order to where you could go 1 2 3 4 5 a chapter and a verse and then you could read this is to help us to study. Verse one of chapter 47 says this. Oh, clap your hands all ye people.

Shout unto God with a voice of triumph. Oh, clap your hands all ye people. Shout unto God with the voice of triumph. Man, we have used this word, this verse in so many ways, in so many services, in so many actions. What? Watch how this works. If I rise to this desk today and I said, "Come on, some somebody clap your hands to the Lord. Shout unto God with a voice of triumph." Does anybody understand what that means? Come on, clap your hands to the Lord.

Clap your hands to the Lord. Shout unto God with a voice of triumph. Clap your hands to the Lord and shout unto God with a voice of triumph. This makes me wonder right now. AM I SITTING IN THE MIDST of a dead, dried up church that doesn't understand the mercy of God, his everlasting love, his kindness, his provision, his protection, his goodness, his love, his patience, HIS LONGS. HEY, IS SOMEBODY IN THE HOUSE TODAY UH REMEMBERING THE GOOD? OH, CLAP YOUR HANDS UNTO THE LORD. COME ON, SOMEBODY SHOUT UNTO GOD WITH A VOICE OF TRIUMPH.

WE WANT GOD TO MOVE IN OUR LIVES, BUT OUR RESPONSE SO MANY TIMES IS CAUSES IT TO STOP. I'M A WORD PICTURE KIND OF GUY. SIT DOWN, PLEASE, JUST FOR A MOMENT. LET let me let me paint a picture. I'm back to my theater seat. I'm back to where I'm sitting, watching my life unfold. And I'm watching me in the midst of the issue and the trouble and the problem and the trial and the things going on and I'm wondering. I can see pictures and I can see people coming in and people going out.

Come on. Maybe I'm the only one that Lord, how did I get in this place? And Lord, why am I in this situation? And then I stand back and I look that things happened and words were said and actions were done. and I try to understand AND GRASP IT AND I TRY SOMETIMES TO PULL IT BACK BUT I CAN'T BECAUSE I'M ON THE OUTSIDE WATCHING THIS DRAMA unfold and I'm sitting in my seat and THERE'S FOLK THAT ARE SITTING MAYBE left and right of me and they can see my life as WELL AND I'M TRYING TO BE A GOOD EXAMPLE AND TRYING TO FOLLOW AFTER THE THINGS THAT GOD'S leading me but I'm watching my life and the mess that it's IN AND I WISH I COULD SAY TO SOMEBODY TODAY THAT PASTOR DON'T HAVE A BAD DAY OR THAT PASTOR PASTOR DON'T HAVE NEGATIVE THOUGHTS OR THAT PASTOR SOMETIMES DOESN'T FALL.

NO, I'M JUST LIKE YOU ARE. I'M JUST IN THE SAME BOAT BECAUSE I'M HUMAN AND YOU'RE HUMAN. WE ARE VERY APT AND CAPABLE of messing up. CAN ANYBODY SEE YOUR LIFE IN FRONT OF YOU WHERE YOU ARE RIGHT NOW? GOD, if I just had this. Oh, God, if you could interject that, Lord, I I don't know how it's going to turn out. And I'm watching things as they happen. AND I'M TRYING IN MY BRAIN TO FIGURE OUT THE OUTCOME OF THIS SITUATION. AND I'M UNABLE TO, BROTHER SAM.

I DON'T I DON'T KNOW HOW TO see the end of it. But in the midst of it, IF I'M SITTING AND I'M WATCHING WHAT'S GOING ON, THERE IS SOMETHING THAT HAPPENS IN THIS SONG TO THE SONS OF KORA THAT BEGAN TO BRING TO my mind something. And brother Don, I begin to think of something here and I BEGIN TO STUDY A LITTLE DEEPER AND WHAT IT MEANT TO CLAP your hands unto the Lord God and what it REALLY MEANT TO TO SHOUT WITH A VOICE OF TRYING.

I'VE HEARD IT. I'VE said it. I've mentioned it. I've done it. I've acted. I'VE RESPONDED ON IT. AND LIKE MANY OF YOU DID JUST A MOMENT AGO. OH, clap your hands like you're in a golf match. Not what it means at all. So, I looked into this a little more. Wish I could help somebody today. To the sons of Kora, the generation before you died and was swallowed up for their disobedience and their murmuring and their complaining. But sons of Kora, listen to me. Sons of Kora, listen to me.

Mercy showed up at the same time. And so when I read, can you put back on the screen Psalm 47 verse1? When I look at this and I notice that there's a command here. This is not a request. This is not something that makes good sense. If you think it makes good sense, this is an actual command that was written by the David that you and I understand as the psalmist, the songwriter. And what he said at this point was, "Oh, clap your hands unto the Lord." Did he not say that?

Is that verse up there? Can somebody read that verse? Could you put that back up there? Anybody? 47 and one. We got anybody back there listening? Yeah, there we go. No, this there you go. That's what it said. Oh, clap your hands all ye people. Shout unto God with a voice of triumph. Oh, clap your hands all ye people. And so I'm I'm looking at this verse. Just leave that up. That's fine. I'm looking at this verse a little deeper. I'm trying to figure out why does it say this?

And then I I'm reminded I begin to do some study of it and it says it's almost in a theatrical environment. So there's something happening here and there's something happening there. It's as if you can see things unfolding in front of you and and it's as if you're you're you're advising yourself to understand what's happening in front of you. I do this when I go watch a play or something. I'm trying to figure out what that so cool man this is. SO AND SO IF I'm there and my life is unfolding and I'm sitting here oh clap your hands all you people.

The indication here is to you ready for it? This is going to blow your mind. You never saw this before. I'm sure it's 100% new to you. It really means to clap your hands. See, what the sons of Kora should have said was, "But hold on a minute. My dad, my grandma, my grandpa generations before me, they were workers in the priesthood. uh for WHATEVER REASON THEY DIED. YOU SUCK THEM UP IN THE DIRT AND THEY'RE NOW GONE. I got no heritage. I got nothing behind me.

But according to what THE PSALMIST IS SAYING, HEY SONS OF CORIN, LISTEN TO ME CAREFULLY. CLAP YOUR HANDS ALL YOU PEOPLE. AND IN THAT PROMISE AND IN THAT COMMITMENT AND IN THAT UNDERSTANDING, IT WAS NOT THE GOLF CLAP. IT WAS NOT SIMPLY AN ATTITUDE AND AN ACTION THAT SAID, "WELL, ain't that nice? Yeah, that we just thought that was good. That's act number one. We wait can't wait for act number two to go on and see how this TURNS OUT. NO, HE IT CONTINUES AND SAYS, "SHOUT UNTO GOD WITH THE VOICE OF TRIUMPH." AND SO MANY TIMES WE THINK, "WELL, THAT SIMPLY MEAN GLORY." CUZ SOME OF Y'ALL DID THAT A WHILE AGO.

WOO! HALLELUJAH. SOME OF Y'ALL WENT, you did this one right here. You didn't give any kind of EXPRESSION OR WHATEVER. SO, I AGAIN, BROTHER SETH, I STARTED DOING SOME HOMEWORK on it. It's 128 for you clockwatchers. AND I BEGIN. WHY IS THE WORD HERE TRIUMPH? SHOUT UNTO GOD WITH A VOICE OF TRIUMPH. YOU'RE SITTING in your seat as IF IN A THEATRICAL MOMENT AND YOU'RE WATCHING AND THE COMMAND IS BECAUSE THE ACT IS SOON TO FINISH. CLAP YOUR hands unto the Lord. AND AS YOU'RE CLAPPING YOUR HANDS, YOU HAVE JUST WITNESSED THE MERCY AND THE VICTORY THAT GOD BECAUSE YOU WANT TO WIN AND YOU SEE IT.

BUT WHEN YOU SEE THIS WORD TRIUMPH IN THIS PARTICULAR MEANING, IT DOES NOT MEAN WOOY WHO WOOY WHO LOOK WHAT GOD HAS DONE. IT DOESN'T MEAN THAT BY THE ROOT OF THE WORD TRIUMPH HERE. IT LITERALLY MEANS JUMP TO YOUR FEET. SHOUT LOUD AS YOU CAN AND GIVE GOD EVERYTHING YOU'VE GOT. GIVE HIM EVERYTHING YOU'VE GOT. IT THIS WHEN YOU SHOUT WITH A VOICE OF TRIUMPH. YOU ARE DECLARING UH I'VE COME TODAY BECAUSE I SAW THE BACK OF IT AND I WIN. I'M A WINNER.

I WILL NOT BE DESTROYED. UH I WILL NOT BE DISMAYED. I WILL NOT GO DOWN. I AM GOING TO BE AN OVERCOMER THROUGH THE WORD OF MY TESTIMONY. AND I'M GOING TO SHOUT WITH A VOICE OF TRIUMPH. WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT? IT DOESN'T MATTER. MY GOD HAS ALLOWED ME TO SEE THAT I AM VICTORIOUS. I'M A WINNER IN HIM. OH, I WISH SOMEBODY WOULD DO IT RIGHT NOW. I WISH SOMEBODY UNDERSTOOD IT RIGHT NOW. Come on. WHEN DID BEING APOSTOLIC MEAN THAT YOU GOT QUIET?

CROSSED YOUR LEGS AND DECIDED I'M HERE. THAT'S ALL I NEED. NO, YOU BETTER RISE UP AND RECOGNIZE THE REALITY OF WHERE YOU ARE. OUR GOD IS A GOOD GOD AND YOU BELONG TO HIM. I SAID YOU BELONG TO HIM. SHOUT UNTO GOD WITH A VOICE OF TRIUMPH. SHOUT UNTO GOD WITH A VOICE OF TRIUMPH. SHOUT UNTO GOD WITH A VOICE OF TRIUMPH. Oh Jesus. Come on. We're living in the best days you could ever live in. BUT IT IS TIME TO DECLARE THE WHOLE COUNCIL OF GOD.

IT IS NOT THE DAY TO SIT DOWN AND WONDER WHY GOD HAS LEFT YOU, FORGOT YOU, AND PUSH YOU UP UNDER A ROCK. HE DIDN'T DO THAT. CLAP YOUR HANDS. CLAP YOUR HANDS. GIVE HIM AN APPLAUSE. LET HIM UNDERSTAND YOUR HEART, YOUR LIFE, YOUR MIND IS FULL OF THE GLORY OF GOD AS IT MOVES IN YOUR LIFE. AND THEN SHOUT WITH A VOICE OF TRIUMPH. RISE TO THE OCCASION. LOOK WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE. LOOK WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE. I WATCHED HIM DO IT.

I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND IT. I DIDN'T KNOW HOW IT WAS GOING TO TURN OUT, BUT LOOK WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE. YOU SHOULD HAVE DIED. YOUR FAMILY SHOULD HAVE BEEN lost and you should have lost your mind. BUT THANKS BE TO GOD WHO HAS GIVEN US THE VICTORY. THANKS BE TO GOD WHO DID NOT FORGET US IN OUR INFIRMITY. THANKS BE TO GOD WHO FILLS THE EARTH WITH HIS GLORY. THANKS BE TO GOD WHO GIVES US JOY. THANKS BE TO GOD WHO MAKES US RISE IN THE MORNING AND WHO PUTS US TO BED AT NIGHT.

THANKS BE TO GOD WHO HAS DECLARED HIS GOODNESS THROUGH ALL GENERATIONS. THANKS BE TO GOD WHO HAS GIVEN YOU THE VICTORY THROUGH THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB. THANKS BE TO GOD WHO HAS DECIDED I'M YOUR GOD. YOU'RE [groaning] MY CHILD AND YOU'RE A WINNER. Y'ALL CAN STAND THERE IF YOU WANT TO. I'M GOING TO USE MY VOICE OF TRIUMPH. HE'S A GREAT GOD. I feel this IN THE HOLY GHOST. Y'ALL GOING TO LET ME SPEAK FOR A MOMENT. THERE'S SOMEBODY WATCHING ONLINE. I DON'T KNOW WHY I SAY THIS.

YOU'RE WATCHING ONLINE. YOU NEED TO GET UP OFF YOUR CHAIR IN YOUR COUCH. SHOUT THROUGH YOUR HOUSEH WITH A VOICE OF TRIUMPH. AND YOU'LL SEE THE VICTORY THAT GOD IS MOVING IN YOUR SEARCH CIRCUMSTANCE AND YOUR SITUATION. GOD CAN DO IT THERE JUST LIKE HE CAN DO IT HERE. GET UP. RUN THROUGH YOUR HOUSE. SHOUT, "GOD, YOU'VE GIVEN ME THE VICTORY. I AM A WINNER THROUGH CHRIST JESUS. I'M NOT TRYING TO HYPE YOU UP. I'M TRYING TO REMIND YOU OF WHO YOU ARE. I'M TRYING TO REMIND YOU OF WHO YOU ARE." Brother Deron, would you come please say standing?

I'm standing. Here's the thing. Here's the thing. So many times, oh Jesus, we beat oursel. We steal the victory from oursel and we trade it for a moment of feelgood. We decide within oursself, I don't know where I'm at. I've prayed this prayer a thousand times. Apparently, God's not listening. Then we embrace it. It becomes part of our fabric. Fact that defines the way we work, defines the way we live. Many times it defines the problems we bring to ourselves. I've already declared to you today earlier that we are human and we are well capable of messing up, failing, sinning, blowing up, saying the wrong thing, doing the wrong thing.

Anybody understand that? But to the sons of Kora, I believe some y'all hang on to me. I believe that sometimes we can simply point to sins of our fathers and expect that we're going to fall in the same suit. Is there something to that? Well, certainly you can be influenced in the most negative ways. You can be influenced the most positive ways. Huh? There's a lot of talk the sins of my fathers make me who I am. If that were the case, then the successes of my father would make me who I am.

But God, nobody says that. Why? Because it's easier for us to define our weaknesses and to declare his goodness and his power. I feel like today, under the sound of my voice, there are many that have struggled with stuff that you can't get rid of, and you're blaming it on previous generations. Kora is the prime example. or where where's your kids? They're not here with me. Where are they? God, let them live. Why? Because his mercy is new every day and it's everlasting to everlasting. Great is thy faithfulness.

So on this last day of November 2025, triumph literally means to leap to your feet with greatest of expectations and exaltations because of a victorious thing that happened. There's no trophy involved with it because you're not going to take that home with you. The trophy hung on a cross, died for you. Now we have to learn to do Jesus, not on the cross. Now, Jesus, you're no longer on the cross. Yeah. They they took me down. They were finished with me. They they put me in a tomb.

They they put me They even rolled a stone over it. They were done with me. When they thought they were finished with me, I simply entered into my dressing room to declare On the third day, I'm coming out. When I come out, you're not going to put me back in that. You're not going to put me back on that cross. I am victorious over death, hell, and the grave. So, anybody and everybody that will call on my name and they'll run to me and submit to my plan.

I will let them live their lives with their mess, with their hurts, habits, and hang-ups, with their junk, with their sin, with all. I'll let them live it. But if they'll turn to me, I will enter stage right and I will say, "All I needed for you to do was call on me." And if they're sitting watching their lives in disaster and destruction, if they'll follow what I I asked for the children of Kora to do, you should be dead as well. You should have all been wiped out.

But mercy walked in. So clap your hands. BRAVO. BRAVO. AND SHOUT UNTO GOD WITH A VOICE OF TRIUMPH. YOU READY FOR IT? ENCORE. ENCORE. YOU CAN DO IT ONCE. YOU CAN DO IT AGAIN. YOU CAN DO IT FOR ME. YOU CAN DO IT FOR HER. YOU CAN DO IT FOR HER. YOU CAN DO IT FOR HIM. COME ON, SOMEBODY. SHOUT WITH A VOICE OF TRIUMPH. I REFUSE TO GO INTO THE GRAVE AND RELIVE THAT JESUS CHRIST GAVE ME LIFE THROUGH HIM. So today MERCY IS APPLIED TO YOUR LIFE READY OR NOT.

Fact though still remains. Are you ready today to decide, can I live a triumphant life, or am I going to go back into the grave and waller around in the junk, try my best to claw my way out of the grave on myself with my own errors, with my own problems and issues. You listen to this preacher right now. The reason you're in that spot right now is because you ran to it. You gave yourself to it, and you submitted to it. Don't think for one MOMENT THAT SOMEHOW YOU'RE GOING TO GET THE STRENGTH TO crawl out of that.

No. It's going to TAKE THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST. IT'S GOING TO TAKE remission of SINS AND FORGIVENESS IN THE NAME OF JESUS TO GET YOU ALIVE AND WALK OUT OF THAT TOMB TO DECLARE BRAVO. BRAVO. WHAT A WONDERFUL GOD WE SERVE. OH, CLAP YOUR HANDS TO THE LORD. SHOUT UNTO GOD WITH A VOICE OF TRIUMPH. YOU HAVE OVERCOME THROUGH THE BLOOD OF JESUS. YOU'RE VICTORIOUS THROUGH THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB. IT'S TIME TO GIVE GOD GLORY AND PRAISE. EVEN THOUGH YOU DON'T KNOW HOW, BEGIN TO OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND LIFT YOUR HANDS TO HIM.

THIS ALTAR IS OPEN RIGHT NOW. SOMEBODY'S GOT A SACRIFICE OF PRAISE. SOMEBODY'S GOT A THANKSGIVING TO GIVE UNTO THE LORD GOD. YOU WANT VICTORY, YOU COME AND GIVE IT TO GOD. YOU WANT VICTORY, YOU COME AND GIVE IT TO GOD. YEAH. Clap your hands to the Lord. CLAP YOUR HANDS TO THE LORD. CLAP YOUR HANDS UNTO THE LORD. Come on. YOU'RE AN OVERCOMER. SHOUT UNTO GOD WITH A VOICE OF TRIUMPH. LEAP FROM IT. I'VE COME VICTORIOUS. I'M AN OVERCOMER. I'M VICTORIOUS. OH, COME ON, SOMEBODY. YOU CAN OVERCOME.

YOU CAN SURPASS IT. YOU CAN WALK IN NEWNESS OF LIFE. I wish you'd just begin TO LOVE THE LORD RIGHT NOW AS LOUD AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN. Shout with a voice of praise. Yes. Yes. Yes. CLAP YOUR HANDS TO THE LORD. SHOUT WITH A VOICE OF TRIUMPH. Shout unto God for the victory. THAT'S RIGHT. YOU'RE AN OVERCOMER. You win. The name of Jesus. The name of Jesus. THE NAME OF JESUS. THE NAME of Jesus. The name of Jesus. The name of Jesus. Yes. Yes. Shout unto God for the victory.

Hey, give the Lord a shout. Shout with the voice of Come on, somebody. God's been good TO YOU. GOD'S BEEN GOOD to you. You should have died in your sin, but he came in and changed everything. The name of Jesus. Hey, give the Lord a shout of praise. Shout with the voice of God's a good God. Shout with the voice of praise. Can you see it? Can you see the victory? Can you see it? Voice of praise. Shout unto God for the victory. Hey Give the Lord a shout of praise.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Just just this past week, just this past week, some of you faced darkness, discouragement, and possible death. But God saw you sitting watching your life unfold. You didn't know how it was going to turn out. You weren't sure if you'd survive the night. You didn't KNOW IF YOU'D DIE WHERE you were. Doctors didn't give much hope. Maybe the testimony of those around you was very, very bleak and dark. But as YOU WATCH WHAT WAS GOING on in the theater of your life, THE LORD GOD SAID, "HEY, HEY, CLAP YOUR HANDS AND WATCH WHAT GOES ON now and you begin to encourage yourself in the Lord." You begin TO LOOK AT YOURSELF AND SAY, "COME ON, GOD IS STILL ON THE THRONE.

GOD IS STILL EXALTED. THEREFORE, I will SHOUT WITH A VOICE OF TRIUMPH. I WILL leap to my feet and I WILL DECLARE IF GOD IS FOR ME, if God is for me, IF GOD IS FOR ME. HEY, come here, Tim. Right here, buddy. Come here, Tim. Come here, Logan. Tim, sit right there. You stand right there. Now, y'all watch how this happens. This man had every right to die again. Am I right, Tim? Just this past week, Lord, I don't know. Can I AM I GOING TO GET UP OR NOT?

I DON'T KNOW, GOD. I don't know. Some of y'all might THINK IT WAS JUST A HAPHAZARD SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED. But I am here convinced that a million prayers have been prayed for THIS MAN FOR WHATEVER REASON. And he's SAT IN THAT HOSPITAL BED WATCHING HIS LIFE UNFOLD IN FRONT OF HIM. NOT SURE HOW it was going TO HAPPEN, BUT HE'S IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD TODAY. LOGAN, I NEED YOU HERE TO HELP HIM. HE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO GET UP AND RUN AND SHOUT, BUT LOGAN, YOU CAN.

YOU CAN CLAP YOUR HANDS. YOU CAN RISE WITH A VOICE OF TRIUMPH. ARE YOU WILLING TO DO THAT FOR YOUR DAD TODAY? COME ON, LET GOD BE GOD. COME ON. YOU KNOW GOD TOOK CARE OF HIM. YOU KNOW GOD WATCHED OUT FOR HIM. YOU KNOW GOD RAISED HIM UP. YOU KNOW GOD MOVED in his life. A VOICE OF TRIUMPH. A VOICE OF TRIUMPH. A VOICE OF TRIUMPH. GOD IS A GOOD GOD. OH, COME ON LOGAN. GIVE GOD PRAISE. GIVE GOD PRAISE. THAT'S JUST ONE EXAMPLE. That's just one example.

Y'all want me to bring more folk up here? I don't need to do that. Hey. Hey. I'M AN OVERCOMER BY THE WORD OF MY TESTIMONY. I'm an overcomer by the spirit that works in me. I'M AN OVERCOMER BECAUSE I STAND TRIUMPHANT TODAY and I DON'T LET THE ENEMY SILENCE MY PRAISE. But instead, oh, clap your hands all you people AND SHOUT UNTO GOD WITH A VOICE OF TRIUMPH. YES. YES, JESUS. The name of Jesus. The name of Jesus. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Shout with a voice of triumph.

Shout with a voice of triumph. Shout with a voice of triumph. Shout with a voice of triumph. Shout with a voice of triumph. SHOUT WITH A VOICE OF TRIUMPH. I'm an overcomer. I win. Yeah. You okay? Brother Herby gets tired sometimes on me. I am trying so much to get out of here. Yeah. Yeah. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Some of you need a miracle in your life. You've allowed the enemy to silence your praise. I declare to you right now by the counsel of the Lord. If you'll open your mouth and begin to love the Lord and shout with praise.

Come on. God can move in your circumstance and you can walk out of here an overcomer. You can WALK OUT OF HERE AN OVERCOMER. You can walk out of HERE VICTORIOUS. COME ON, SOMEBODY. PRAISE YOUR WAY OUT OF IT. PRAISE YOUR WAY OUT OF YOUR CIRCUMSTANCE. THAT'S RIGHT. COME ON. DON'T STOP SHORT OF IT. LET VICTORY COME TO YOU TODAY. Let victory come to you today. WOULD YOU PRAISE HIM RIGHT NOW LIKE YOU REALLY FEEL LIKE IT? YES, JESUS. Come on. LIKE YOU REALLY KNOW HE'S WORTH IT.

Shout with the voice of tri. Shout with the voice of praise. Shout with the voice of triumph. Shout with the voice of praise. Shout unto God for the victory. Hey, give the Lord a shout of praise. Shout with the voice of triumph. Shout with the voice of praise. Shout with the voice of triumph. Shout with a voice of praise. Shout unto God for the victory. Hey, give a shout praise. Come on. You know God can do it in battle. That's why you shout. That's why you praise him.

God is over. Jesus is conquering. Come on somebody. Satan is defeated. He is under my feet. I'm an overcomer. I'm an over. I'm an over tri today. Shout with a voice of praise. Shout with the voice of triumph. Yeah. Yeah. Shout with the voice of praise. That's right. Shout unto God for the victory. Come on, somebody. Walk out of here victorious today. Give the Lord shout praise. Triumphant in battle. We are victorious. God is most high over all the earth. Jesus has conquered. Satan's defeated. That's right.

That's right. He is under my feet. That's right. Victory with the voice of triumph. There's victory in the name of Jesus. The voice of praise. Now go encourage somebody today. Go with him. God's on your side. God's working it out. Come on. Go pray with somebody. That's right. God's moving it unto God for somebody with him. Give the Lord a shout of praise. victory. Shout cuz you've been set free. I believe you for it. That's right. Shout for the victory. Shout cuz you've been set free.

Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Shout for the victory. Shout. You've been set free. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Yes. For the victory. Shout. You've been set free. Shout with the voice of triumph. Shout with a voice of praise. Shout with a voice of triumph. Shout with a voice of praise. Shout unto God for the victory. Oh, that's right. Come on. Run into his presence. Oh, that's right, Jess. Shout with the voice of praise. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Shout with the voice of triumph. Shout with the voice of praise.

Oh, come on, somebody. Shout unto God for the victory. Give the Lord a shout of praise. You done? Are you done? Thanks in him. He's a good God. He's a great God. God is most high over all the earth. Jesus has conquered defeated. The enemy is under my feet. I love you. Shout with the voice of tri. Yeah. Shout with the voice of praise. Voice of praise. Shout with the voice of triumph. Come on. Victory in the name of Jesus. The voice of praise. There's victory in the name of Jesus.

Unto God full of victory. Hey, give the Lord a shout of praise. Hallelujah. Come on, pray. Pray. Pray. Come on. Victory. Victory. Victory. Come on. Victory in the name. Victory in the name. Come on, Cammy. That's right. Run into his presence. Come on, Ethan. Run as close as you can to it. Run as close as you can to it. I'm clapping for you, Lord. I'm shouting for you, Lord. Victory in the name. Victory in the name of Jesus. Hey. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The name of Jesus.

The name of Jesus. The name of Jesus. Oh God. My God. Yeah. Again. 157 for us clock watchers. If today needs to be your day and you've been watching the theater of life happen in you and you don't know what the next thing's going to do, I wonder today is there somebody that would rise to the occasion and simply declare God's good and I'm going to receive it and I'm going to walk out of here different. Is there anybody that will declare that today? I'm going to leave this place with joy in my heart, laughter in my soul.

I'm going to leave this place encouraged in the Holy Ghost. Oh, come on, somebody. Get past it all and just love the Lord through it all. Yeah, yeah, yeah. How I love you, Lord. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. Good God. Good God. Good God. I I don't I'm not sure. It's almost two. We're okay. I I'm not sure why David felt compelled, brother Rob, to write a series of songs for the sons of Quora. I did some research, try to figure that out. Why does he Why does it matter?

What difference does it make? And it could have been said under the sons of Fred, under the sons of Balawanaka. You know, we know the Bible's got away with names, right? Come on, act like you could say Melzdc. Why to the sons of Cor. So the more I looked at it, more I tried to understand it. This is what I finally realized in my study is this simply this. God's plan, purpose, promise is always right. When God said to Moses, "Do this, do it this way, and make it happen this way," God was determined that they would do it that way.

Logan, that's just what it was. Moses, you're you're the man. Aaron, you're the priest. So, this is how it's going to work. You may were okay with that. But because God knows humanity, he knows with him that we can sometimes become righteously indignant. Sometimes we can lift ourselves to a position that we don't need to. And sometimes, listen to me, we can expect God to move on our behalf because of who we think we are. Because after all, John says, "If you ask it in his name, he'll do it." Has anybody ever lamblasted God with that verse?

GOD, YOU SAID IF I'D ASK, YOU'D DO IT. HUH? I brought that up to the Lord before. Lord, I'm I'm I'm sure you know this, but he was fine. I wasn't mad or angry. I was just simply trying to plead my case. So I began to look, brother, why to the sons of Kora would he write? And this is what I discovered. If God knows and understands what mercy is, that he can show mercy to whom he will show mercy. He can show love to whom he shows love.

He can show grace to whom he shows grace. He can intervene in every situation. I am certain that when Kora felt the breath go out of his body as he went under the ground that day as the earth swallowed him up, he had nothing to think of except for what have I done that would cause God to destroy me. God was on the other side of that saying, "But I will show mercy to your children." And if they will understand the value of me showing them mercy, they will be able to rise to their feet and say, "Look what the Lord has done in my life.

I should have died. that I should have been washed and wiped away. But look what the Lord has done in my life. Dad, where's granddad? He here. He's not here. But oh, we can clap our hands to the Lord and give him praise. We can leap to our feet in the midst of it all and we can shout, "Triumph! Victory in you. I'M CONVINCED DAVID WAS THE ONE that understood that the most. He stumbled. He fell. He sinned. He transgressed. And yet, he was after God's heart.

Before you leave here today, I want you to get next to somebody close to you there. We need one another, church. Come on, put your arm around them if it's appropriate. Lord, we are testimonies today of your goodness. We are testimonies, Lord of how good you are, Lord. We are testimonies of your mercy. We are testimonies, Lord. Come on, somebody. God's been good to you. God's been good to you. We are witnesses of the goodness of God. Lord, bless my brother today and my sister. Let them always remember.

They can clap their hands to you, Lord. They could shout, "Triumph, God, and be reminded of your mercy. And they can walk every day, Lord, not even knowing what's going to turn out of their situation or how it's going to come about. But Lord, you can work, you can provide, and you can remind that you are well aable, Jesus, well aable. Now together, as you're holding somebody, lift your voice to the Lord and give God thanks on their behalf. Thank you, Lord, for touching them. Thank you for the miracles you worked in them, Lord.

That's right. That's right. Thank you, Lord, for the miraculous things that you're doing in them. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Jesus. Jesus. overcomers today. We're overcomers today.
