Summary

Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.

Harvest Reports and the Launching Text: You Shall Receive Power

  • The preacher reports the weekend harvest rallies at the host church: 113 people received the baptism of the Holy Ghost speaking with other tongues, 16 were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and 49 received a notable miracle.
  • He reports the same outpouring from his recent travels — 42,000 miles in 60 days across eight time zones — including 51 filled in Vanuatu, 155 in Rosario, Argentina, more than 2,000 in one night in a 16,000-seat stadium in Cali, Colombia, and 61 in Fiji.
  • He gives honor to the host pastor, district leadership, and fellow ministers, welcomes family guests who are present, and says the main event of the service will be what happens in people's lives after the preaching.
  • He reads his text from Acts: the disciples asked whether the Lord would at this time restore the kingdom to Israel, and Jesus answered that it was not for them to know the times or the seasons the Father has put in his own power.
  • From that launching verse he announces his message, 'Power just when you need it the most': whatever battle or unfamiliar situation a listener is facing, God is present for them at the point of their greatest need.

Scriptures: Acts 1; Acts 1:7

Do Not Worry About the Conditions: The Signs of the End Times

  • The disciples were concerned about what was coming on the world and about the troubles they themselves would face, much as people today worry about the conditions of their lives.
  • He recalls Jesus' sermon in Matthew 24 and its signs: deception and many false Christs, wars and rumors of wars, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, persecution of believers, and many being offended.
  • He explains 'nation against nation' as nationality against nationality — ethnicity against ethnicity — and calls the peak of racial tension a sign fermented by the spirit of Antichrist, while the church refuses to let hatred into its heart.
  • He continues the signs: betrayal and hatred, false prophets, the love of many growing cold, the abomination of desolation, great tribulation, world government and world religion taking shape, and signs in the heavens and in the earth.
  • Jesus' answer to worried disciples was not worry but a promise: when life gets more difficult God releases more power, when the battle is greater he gives more power — there will be power just when you need it the most.

Scriptures: Matthew 24

This Is That: The Acts 2 Outpouring and Joel's Prophecy

  • He retells the day of Pentecost: suddenly a sound from heaven like a rushing mighty wind filled the house, cloven tongues like fire appeared, and about 120 in the upper room were filled with the Holy Ghost and spoke with other tongues.
  • Peter stood with the eleven and declared, 'This is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel' — the prophecy that in the last days God would pour out his Spirit upon all flesh.
  • Peter pronounced the prophecy fulfilled on the strength of 120 people receiving something they had never had; the preacher says the same declaration belongs on what is happening now.
  • He points to a present surge toward the Lord — including a reported 900% increase in 'church near me' searches in two months — and calls the church to get its nets, songs, prayers, and sermons ready.
  • People are coming to Jesus from every place, culture, and creed — rich and poor, bound, deceived, discouraged, and previously hurt in church — and the Lord will give them the power they need just when they need it most.

Scriptures: Acts 2; Joel (book-only, as spoken)

Light at Evening Time

  • He takes up Zechariah's prophecy: 'It shall come to pass that at evening time it shall be light.'
  • He corrects his childhood reading of the verse: it does not picture the church keeping a little flickering candle alive in the darkness, but a light so bright in the darkest night that it feels like daytime — day and night at the same time.
  • The end time will therefore look like both the worst and the best situation at once: the darkest hour of evil and Antichrist rising, and the brightest day of revival, baptisms, and Holy Ghost outpouring.
  • He compares the drawing of people to the animals coming to Noah's ark: Noah did not round them up; when the time came they sensed something and made their way to the ark on their own.
  • In the same way, he says, the Spirit is drawing people now — no one comes to the Father unless the Spirit draws him — and those who feel that pull are already making their way toward the ark of safety.

Scriptures: Zechariah 14:7

Power for Your Own Valley: Strength, Refuge, and Rising Again

  • The promise is not only for worldwide events but for individual struggles: for those under more pressure than they have ever faced, Isaiah's word stands — God gives power to the faint, and to those with no might he increases strength.
  • He cites Paul's word to the Corinthian church: God is faithful and will not allow anyone to be tempted above what they are able, but will make a way of escape; the great escape is to run to Jesus and come out from among the world and be separate.
  • He quotes David's psalm: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble — the same God who is with his people walking through the valley of the shadow of death.
  • He names his favorite verse in the whole Bible, from Micah: 'Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.'
  • The point is pressed home personally: do not be thrown off by the darkness, because the Lord himself will be a light at evening time for the one who falls and rises again.

Scriptures: Isaiah 40:29; Psalms (book-only, as spoken); Micah 7; Micah 7:8

Pentecost Is Power: Overcoming Sin, Fear, and a Troubled Mind

  • He declares that Pentecost is not merely rules, traditions, creeds, and rituals — Pentecost is power, the promised 'you shall receive power' after the Holy Ghost comes.
  • It is power to overcome sin, which no one can do in their own strength: the flesh will always make sure of failure, but Christ in us — the hope of glory — breaks addictions, temper, anxiety, fear, and depression.
  • Walking in the Spirit instead of fulfilling the lust of the flesh brings joy unspeakable, a peace that passes understanding, and feet lifted out of the miry clay and set on a rock.
  • He anchors the deliverance in Paul's word: God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind — and he speaks soundness, deliverance, and release over the congregation.

Scriptures: 2 Timothy 1:7

He Will Not Leave You Comfortless: The Comforter and the Altar Call

  • Jesus came down and experienced humanity fully — its hurts, sorrows, temptations, and pain — so he knew exactly what people would need after he went away, and he promised, 'I will not leave you comfortless.'
  • Money is not that answer: it can buy possessions but not peace, a house but not a home, medicine but not health, a meal but not food for the soul; only Jesus can satisfy the soul.
  • He studies the Greek word orphanos behind 'comfortless': Jesus will not leave his people like orphans or fatherless, but will come and dwell in them — a well of living water springing up unto everlasting life — and be bread, water, rest, strength, peace, father, and shepherd to them.
  • The Holy Spirit is also called the Comforter, sent precisely because believers would need comfort; the conclusion pairs the two sides of him — power to overcome sin and comfort to restore the fallen, power to endure trials and comfort to rejoice in them, power to cast out fear and comfort in uncertainty, power to heal and comfort for grieving hearts.
  • He calls him an on-time God — not just a God of the mountains but of the valleys — and leads the whole auditorium in a prayer of repentance, declaring forgiveness in the name of Jesus to all who sincerely prayed.
  • He then gives practical instructions for receiving: come with desire and hunger, get your mind on Jesus, exercise faith (seeing yourself blessed just before it happens), raise your hands in surrender, and worship until the Spirit gives utterance in other tongues; altar calls follow in waves for first-time seekers, for those needing a refilling and renewing, and for those needing a miracle of healing or deliverance.

Feel the presence of the Lord all over this place. Power of God is moving. It's good to see all of you. Amen. And you look happy.

Most of you, a few of you look like you're having a bad day. I don't. Amen. Maybe it'll end good. Praise the Lord.

I am so honored and thrilled to be here for these harvest rallies. What a time we have had over the last couple of days from Friday, Saturday, and now Sunday. There have been 113 receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost speaking with other tongues. 16 have been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and 49 people have received a notable miracle. I think we ought to give the Lord some high praise.

Praise God. Praise God. I will ask you to pardon my voice tonight. I feel great uh as far as I'm not sick in any kind of way, but uh the last uh 60 days I've traveled 42,000 miles. I've been in eight different time zones.

But some great things have happened in the little island of Venuatu. I went to Australia and into Venuatu and we had 51 received the baptism of the Holy Ghost speaking in tongues. I went down to Rosario, Argentina. We had 155 received the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Speaking at other times about a month and a half ago, uh it was actually the first of all these trips.

I was in Kali Colombia, big stadium, 16,000 people and more than 2,000 received the Holy Ghost in one single night. And I just got back from Fiji, uh, Fiji Islands, uh, last Saturday and we had 61 receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost. I'm telling you folks, it's happening everywhere all over the world. It's happening everywhere. Could happen to you tonight.

It's one of the greatest things that ever happened to your life is the for the Lord Jesus Christ to come dwell, take up residence on the inside of your soul. You wake up in the morning with the presence of the Lord. You go to bed at night with the presence of the Lord. He'll be with you. And he said, "I'll never leave you.

I'll never forsake you." So, I give honor to all of you. I give honor, of course, to the host pastor. Amen. Our district uh prespter, brother Tyson, Brother Dong, the host pastor, and brother Willilifford. I saw him here somewhere.

The bishop. Amen. God bless. There you got off too. Amen.

Can't see you with all the bright lights. And Amen. and and all the pastors and men and women of God and those of you that have come with faith in your heart. And uh I have some special guests here tonight. My uh uh sister Lori and her husband Greg and their children are with them tonight.

I think one's grandchild actually. And then my mother is here with us tonight. Amen. She lives here and I'm very honored that they are here. Welcome them.

the book of the Acts of the Apostles. Now, if this works out like it has the last couple of nights, I get to preach it and my voice gets better. Uh if not, if it goes real bad, Brother Willilifford, I'll just throw you the mic and you can come read what's up here and Amen. See what happens. Hallelujah.

It gets real bad, I'll just cut the sermon short and give a call. This morning at the church I was at, I preached about when Uticus fell out of the window because Paul was long preaching. He preached all the way till midnight. Amen. So, uh, don't worry.

I got my timer set and that's not going to happen. And here's the reason why. Not because I don't have a whole lot of stuff I'd like to say, but because I feel like the main event tonight is going to come after the preaching. I feel like the most important part of this service will be what happens in your life as a result of the word, as a result of your faith, as a result of your desire and your hunger for the Lord. Amen.

And if you've come to be baptized tonight, we'll get you ready right at the end. I believe there's going to be miracles. I believe there's going to be deliverances. If you've never been filled with the spirit, tonight's your night. If it's been a long time since you prayed through, tonight's your night.

You can get a refilling and a and a renewing and a We all need that, don't we? We need a refilling and a renewing. But some really need it the most. Acts chapter 1 verse number 7 for the reading of the word of the Lord. I'm not texting anybody here on my phone.

I'm setting that timer. When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? He said unto them, "It's not for you to know the times or the seasons which the father has put in his power." Probably not the response or the answer they were looking for. But he didn't stop there. He said, ' But however, you shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you and you shall be witnesses unto me.

And so tonight from this launching verse, I'd simply like to preach a simple message. Power just when you need it the most. And I just feel in my spirit that touches somebody or several somebody's here right now. You're needing it really bad. You're you're fighting things you've never had to fight.

You're in a situation you've never been in. But I've come to prophesy to you tonight and tell you by the spirit, he's here for you just when you need him the most. One more time, would you lift your hands to the Lord and worship across this place? Beautiful. Let's keep that going a minute.

I feel the power. Lord, tonight we ask you for miracles, healing, cancers disappearing, crippled limbs being straightened, cancers and tumors, diseases being healed in the name of Jesus. Pour out your spirit we pray. And let everybody say in Jesus name, you may be seated in the presence of the Lord. The disciples were concerned about everything coming upon the world.

They were concerned about their lives and what they would face and what kind of troubles they were going to be dealing with. And maybe they were remembering Jesus sermon on the mount in Matthew 24. And all the signs of the end times that would come. Deception would rise. False Christ would be many.

Wars and rumors of wars would be everywhere. Nation would rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. You look into the study of that little phrase nation against nation. It really means nationality against nationality or ethnicity against ethnicity. This rise of racism and racial tension that is at an all-time peak, it seems, at least in our lifetimes, is not an accident.

It's being fermented by the spirit of Antichrist. And it's a sign of the end times. But I'm thankful that here in the church, we know better than all of that. And we're letting the spirit of the true Christ direct our attitudes and our hearts. And we're not letting hatred get in our hearts toward each other.

He goes on with his signs of famines and pestilences and earthquakes and lions and tigers and bears. Oh, persecution of believers. Many becoming offended. Don't you get offended that I said that? See what I mean?

People betraying one another, hating one another, false prophets rising up. They're all over Facebook. I'm having fun. I don't know if you are. The love of many growing cold.

Finally, the abomination of desolation setting himself up in the temple. Great tribulation like the world has never seen. World government taking shape. World religion taking shape. Antichrist and false prophet feel like they're just ready to be introduced at any moment.

Signs in the heavens, signs in the earth. My brothers and sisters, we're living in the last days. 24 hours could change everything. Things that were never possible before are possible now. End time fulfillment like never before is at a fevered pace.

And Jesus, in light of all of that, even though they knew all that, even though they were worried about all of that, Jesus looks at them and basically says, "Do not worry about the conditions of your life." Yeah, I get many amens on that because that's pretty much what everybody's worried about, the conditions of their life. He said, "Don't worry about the conditions. Don't worry about what's happening all around you." And then he gave them the reason why. He said, "You shall receive power." He said, "When it gets more difficult, I'm going to release more power. When you're facing greater battles, I'm going to give you more power.

When it looks like the devil's fighting you stronger, I'm going to give you more power." So, when life gets more difficult, I've come to tell you tonight, there will be more power. There will be power just when you need it the most. It's interesting that as you look at this prophetic promise, even though the last days are called perilous times, which means dangerous times, I want you to also know one of the greatest prophecies of the end times is the outpouring of power from heaven. At the same time that the darkness seems to be sweeping over the earth, there's going to be a light that shines and the glory of God is going to be revealed to his people. The prophetic promise of the Holy Ghost started in Acts chapter 2.

Suddenly, there came a sound from heaven. Oh, I wonder if there's any Pentecostals in this house tonight. Suddenly, there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind. It filled all the house where they were sitting. There appeared unto them clothed in tongues like as a fire.

It sat upon each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them the utterance. That was the outpour of the power of the Holy Ghost upon those about 120 that were gathered in the upper room. And from there the Apostle Peter would stand up standing with the 11 and he would say this is that this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel. You might know Joel's prophecy.

Joel's prophecy was in the last days sayaith God I will pour out of my spirit upon all flesh. That prophecy lingered in the atmosphere for hundreds of years until when in the upper room of Jerusalem when about 120 began to speak in tongues and the Apostle Peter looked around and said, "I think this is it. This looks like what he was prophesying about. I I wish we could get a little bit more like the Apostle." He didn't wait for it to hit worldwide. He didn't wait for testimonies of 50,000 and 100,000.

Now the prophecy was he's going to pour his spirit out on all flesh. But the apostle looked around and saw 120 getting something they never had before. He says this is it. On the strength of 120, the apostle said, "This is the fulfilling of the prophecy." I feel like we're in safe territory tonight. I've give you testimonies just here in Missouri, we've had a hund and something already.

And then in just the places I've been in the last 60 days, there have been several thousand receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost. I I think we're in safe territory tonight to say this. This what we feel in the house of God. This is that this is the end time outpouring prophecy of power just when you need it the most. This is that.

And if this is not that, please tell me where that's at. And also tell me what this is. Because everywhere I go, I'm seeing people receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost, speaking with other tongues as the spirit of God gives them the utterance. There is something happening in our world right now. There is a surge of people toward the Lord.

Social events, recent calamities, public assassination people, it stirred people up and it's been building for several years. There is just a unsettling. There is something saying there's something in the air. Some are returning to their roots. Some are trying to find Jesus for the first time in their life.

An interesting statistic I just came across in the last few days. Google searches for a church near me have increased 900% in the last two months. We better get our nets out. We better get our signs on. We better get our best songs.

Come on, choirs, practice. Come on, prayer warriors, pray. Come on, preachers, get your best sermons together. People are looking for Jesus. They're trying to find the Lord.

They're going to come rich. They're going to come poor. They're going to come out of every place, every culture, every creed. They're coming. They're coming bound.

They're coming deceived. They're coming discouraged. They're coming having been hurt in church before, but they're going to walk in and say, "I need Jesus. I need a touch of God. And I'm going to tell you, the Lord's going to come down from heaven.

And he's going to give them the power they need just when they're looking for it and just when they need it the most. I wonder if you'd clap your hands and give the Lord some high praise. Praise God. I like what I feel in this house tonight. I feel the miracle power.

A prophecy that I've always enjoyed and never truly understood it till just recently. Zechariah 14:7. It shall come to pass that at evening time it shall be light. Now, for many years of my life, from a young child up, I kind of viewed that as in the last days it's going to be dark. It's going to be dreadful.

going to be all kinds of trials and troubles and persecutions and tribulations and in the midst of the thick darkness of the end time. God's church going to be over there somewhere with a little candle in the window their little light. Let my little light shine. This little light of mine, I'm going to let it shine. And I thought we're going to keep the fire burning even in the midst of all the darkness.

We're going to keep that little flickering flame alive somehow. But as I got older and begin to study it and realize that's not what that verse is saying at all. That verse not talking about a little light. It said it's going to be dark, the darkest of nights, but it's going to be bright so bright it's going to feel like daytime. Said it's going to be both day and night at the same time.

So you're not sure is it day or is it night. Can I prophesy to you about the end times? It's going to be dark. Antichrist is going to be rising. People are going to be doing all kinds of evil.

We're going to say, "Boy, this is the darkest it's ever been." But on the other side, it's going to be revival. People are going to get baptized. They're going to get filled with the Holy Ghost. They're going to say, "This looks like the greatest revival I've ever seen. Is this the worst situation or is this the best situation?" Is this the darkest hour or is this the brightest day?

Because there shall be light in the evening time and it's going to be a bright light. It's going to be a glorious church. It's going to be magnificent. People are getting baptized by the thousands college campuses around the world. People are getting baptized.

There's a drawing that says, "I need to identify with Jesus. I've got to touch Jesus. Something's coming on this world. And what I like about it is there shall be light that's going to come in the evening time. Like the star that would shine in the night to show them how to find Jesus.

I believe there is coming a guiding of the spirit. You know, just like in the days of Noah were. Amen. The Bible said it'd be the same way in the days of the coming of the son of man. Did you ever wonder how those animals got on the ark?

Noah didn't go around and round them up. He didn't set traps. He didn't go rope them and rope them in and drag them in. It just came time. And when it came time, Noah standing in the doorway of the ark that he had worked so diligently to build.

Folks, we better build a revival and build it hot because all of a sudden down by the river banks, couple of hippos nose deep in the water, two of them poked their noses up, started waddling their way toward the ark. Over in the tall trees, bunch of giraffes nibbling on leaves. Two of them turn, look toward the ark, start heading that way. And here they come. They're coming out of every place.

All the animals, sheep lifting their voices, feeling something start making their way toward the ark. I'm telling you, people are beginning to sense. People are beginning to feel. Somebody's going to start making their way toward the ark of safety. What do you think you're doing here tonight?

You think you just wandered in here? I'm telling you, you may not be thinking about it with your brain, but your heart is saying, "I got to get right with the Lord. I got to get in the church. I got to get this Holy Ghost. I got to get baptized.

I need touch of God. Something's coming on this world. I better make my way toward the ark." There was a drawing. There was a calling of the spirit that drew those animals instinctively into the ark. Some felt what others didn't feel.

I believe that's what's happening right now around the world. The reason you're feeling what you're feeling is God is dealing with you. His spirit, no man cometh unto the father, but that the spirit draw him. You couldn't have even gotten this close tonight if God wasn't drawing you, pulling you, calling you, and he's going to give you that light at the evening time. Wind fades the toil of the day.

No shadows deep, no weary night at evening time. There shall be light. Immortal love from realms above. Breathing now his promise bright at evening time. I wish you'd clap your hands.

There shall be light. He's going to come through just when you need him to come through. And it's not just for these worldwide events. This is for the individual events going on in your own life. For when you feel like you're struggling more than you've ever struggled, dealing with more pressure than you've ever dealt with, going through things you're not sure you can make it to the end, I'm going to tell you what's going to happen.

Isaiah said it in 40:29. He gives power to the faint. And to them that have no might, he increasth strength. I wish somebody claimed that prophecy tonight. I I felt it connect in three or four places just now.

Got to claim that. If you don't want to say it out loud, breathe it under your breath. That was for me. Paul told the Corinthian church, "God is faithful. He will not suffer you." These are direct words from the Lord.

He will not suffer you to be tempted above that which you're able, but with the temptation also will make a way to escape that you may be able to bear it. Folks, the rapture of the church is going to be the great escape. We're in the great escape here tonight. Amen. You want to escape this world, come to Jesus.

You You don't want to be part of the judgments coming on this world, run to Jesus. You don't like the world and all that's coming on the world, you know what the Bible tells us to do as Christians? Come out from among them and be ye separate, sayeth the Lord. I don't know about you, but I want the Lord to know which team I'm on. I don't want to be part of this world.

I'm in this world, not of this world. I don't want its calamity. I don't want its problems. I don't want its judgments. I'm looking unto Jesus.

Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. David wrote it in Psalms. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Ah, God is your help. And then my favorite verse in the whole Bible. Micah 7 and8. I had a pastor buy me a nice suit recently. Got my name in it, but it's also got my verse Micah 7 and8.

Right there it says, "Rejoice not against me, oh my enemy, when I fall, for I shall arise and when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me. Don't get all sideways and side winding crooked about the darkness. The Lord shall be a light at evening time. The light is going to shine bright down from heaven. That's what you're doing.

You know, by the way, Pentecost is not just a religion of rules, traditions, creeds, rituals. Pentecost is power. I said Pentecost is power. You shall receive power. After that, let the Holy Ghost has come upon you.

Pentecost may not be your first choice. It's probably your last chance. Once you've tried the rest, you're saying, "Isn't there anything more?" Then I challenge you to run to that Pentecostal blessing. The old writer wrote it years ago. It's real.

It's real. I know it's real. this Pentecostal blessing. And I know I know it's real. I I I get a witness across the house.

Somebody that's been walking with the Lord for about 10 years or 20 years or 30 years can say it's real. It's real. It's real. It's real. It's real.

Prophesy into your spirit. You shall receive power. I speak by faith into your spirit. You shall receive power. Power is going to fall in this house tonight, just a few minutes from now.

And whosoever will is going to receive it. What's it power? It's power to overcome sin. Yeah, I know you don't like preachers talking about sin, but you need power to overcome sin. Because let me let me make it easy for you.

You'll never be able to do it on your own anyway. No matter how hard you try, you can't do it. Your old flesh is going to make sure you don't. But you can seek his righteousness. You can ask for his spirit.

That's what the baptism of the Holy Spirit is. It's Christ in us. It's a Christ likeness. It's his character. It's his goodness.

Paul said, "I live yet not I. Christ liveth in me. The hope of glory." He's your only hope. He's the hope of salvation. Your only hope of breaking those addictions.

Y'all be quiet. I'll preach. He's your hope of breaking that temper. He's your hope of breaking that anxiety and that fear. He's your hope of breaking that depression.

It's not God's will for you to be depressed all the time. It's not God's plan for you to be sad and upset and nervous wreck about ready to have a nervous breakdown every day of your life. I don't know what's going crazy with this world. People are wearing their mental issues and their emotional issues like badges of honor. See how easily offended you are that I'm not giving credibility to all this depression and stuff.

I know it's real. I also know God will deliver and God will help and God will set you free. He'll give you joy unspeakable and full of joy. He'll give you a peace that passes understanding. That's what the power is for.

To lift you up out of the miry clay and put your feet on a rock to stay. He could put a smile on your face. He could put joy in your heart. He could shake off those heavy bands. Uh lift up those holy hands.

Uh this is not just life. Uh it's abundant life. Come on. We either believe this thing works or we don't. I'm tired of making excuses.

You know what? We need more Jesus. We need more Jesus. We need a baptism that would touch us from the top of our head to the sole of our feet. If you'll walk in the spirit, you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

If we'll get more Holy Ghost, we won't be so carnal. If we'll get more Holy Ghost, we won't be so worldly. Uh if we'll get more Holy Ghost, we won't be under the weather all the time and fighting the devil all the time. We need power and he's pouring it out right here, right now, just when we need it, more than we've ever needed it before. For all of you that are still upset about what I'm saying, 2 Timothy 1:7 says, "God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of love and of power and of a sound mind.

I speak soundness into you. I speak deliverance into you. I prophesy a release into you tonight. You're going to wake up tomorrow feeling better. You're going to wake up and say, "This is the day the Lord has made.

I will be glad. I will be glad." Come on. Wake up tomorrow morning and make a decision. I'm going to feel some joy today. The Lord's going to help me.

I may not be able to do it on my own, but I can do it with the help of the Lord. Somebody shout yes. Woo! I'm feeling good. I'm having fun.

I don't know if you are. Remember, Jesus was God come down to man. He was Emanuel, God with us. He came down to man. He walked in our shoes.

He lived our lives. He saw our troubles. He carried our sorrows. He bore our griefs. He experienced humanity in every way that it could be experienced.

The hurts, the pains. He suffered like we suffer. He was tempted like we're tempted. He felt pain like we feel pain probably greater than many of us will ever feel pain. He experienced the difficulty of human life and the cruelty and the violence and the horror of wickedness.

And then he said, "I have to go away now, but I won't leave you comfortless. I am with you, but I shall be in you." In other words, what he was saying was, "I've been here and I've looked around. I've walked in your sandals. I've seen what you're dealing with. I've observed humanity up close.

I know what you need to make it." Now, what most of us think we need is just some more money. Now, I'm not going to preach against money because I like some of my own self. But we all if I just had more money, everything be all right. But if money was the answer to the equation on the day of Pentecost, the heavens would have opened and $100 bills would have come just floating down on everybody. Gold bars, you'd have had to move out of the way.

It almost hit me and killed me. Silver coins dropping everywhere. Money can only do so much. Money can buy possessions but not give you peace. Money can buy a house but not make it a home.

Money can buy you a bed that you can't sleep in, not provide rest. Money can buy medicine but not give you health. Money can buy a meal but not feed your soul. Money can send you on a vacation, but it can't fill your heart with joy. Only Jesus can satisfy the soul.

You ever get a taste? Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good. Only Jesus can satisfy the soul. He's Christ in you, your only hope. I've added that in myself.

That's my commentary. Your only hope of joy. He's your friend that'll stick closer than a brother. He won't abandon you. He won't leave you.

He's your everpresent help. He That's why David said, "Yay, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. Uh I will fear no evil." Uh for why? Why? Why?

How you going to walk through the valley and be all right? For thou art with me. I'm not telling you to do this by your own strength. I'm not telling you to pull yourself up by your bootstraps. I'm not telling you to cowboy up and get your act together.

I'm telling you, forget all that. You can't do it if you try. Just surrender to Jesus. Say, "Lord, I can't do this mess. I've tried and failed." You know, I'm not telling you to fight harder.

I'm telling you to surrender deeper. You get more Jesus, you'll be all right. You get this power of the Holy Ghost and you walk in the spirit, you'll be all right. Can I preach a few more minutes? My timer says I got five well five minutes and 50 seconds.

He said, "I won't leave you comfortless." I did a little study into the Greek. I don't speak Greek, but I can use a computer and uh makes you sound smart. You know, the Greek word is orphanos. I will not leave you comfortless. I will not leave you orphanos.

It means I will not leave you like an orphan. I will not abandon you. I will not leave you fatherless. I'm not going to leave you here just to work it out the best you can. I'm not going to leave you here just to just to figure out, you know, whatever you can do, you know, good luck.

Hope it all works out for you. He said, "No, I'm not going to leave you comfortless. I'm not going to leave you like an orphan. I'm going to come to you. I'm going to come walk with you.

I'm going to come dwell with you. You're going to receive power. Power, power, power, power, wonderworking power. I'm going to give you power. It's miraculous.

It's beyond any of our ability. It's beyond anything I can do for you. It's beyond anything anybody here can do for you. It's his power. He said, "I'll give you my spirit." It's the Holy Spirit of God.

How you going to live holy? Receive the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will help you become a holy man and a holy woman. Uh you can live in holiness when you receive the Holy Spirit of God. God is a spirit.

God is a Holy Spirit. When you receive the Holy Spirit, you're receiving Holy God. A little part of God comes and dwells right down in your soul. He said, "It's going to be in you like a well." I'm not just preaching about a drink to soothe you for a day or two. I'm talking about him establishing a well inside of you, digging deep into your heart, deep into your soul until water of a well of living water begins to spring up unto everlasting life.

He said, "I'm going to be everything you need just when you need it. I'll be bread when you're hungry. I'll be water when you're thirsty. I'll be rest for the weary. I'll be strength for the weak." He said, "I'll be a bridge over your troubled waters.

I'll be peace in the midst of your storm. I'll be a father to the fatherless. I'll be a husband to the uh widow. He said, I'll be a shepherd for every lost sheep. No wonder David said, "My help, my help cometh from the Lord." I've come to prophesy into your spirit tonight.

Your help is on the way. I I know they try to tell us, you know, you just need to work it out. Nobody's coming. Nobody's coming. I've come to tell you the opposite.

The Calvary is on the way. Not just any Calvary. The Calvary. The Calvary where the blood was shed. The Calvary where the anointing was released.

The Calvary where the price was paid. The Calvary is on the way. Your help is on the way. Just all you have to do is reach up and touch the helmet of his garment. Help is on the way.

The Holy Ghost in the Bible, the Holy Spirit in the Bible is also called the comforter. Jesus said, "I'll send you another comforter." You know what that tells me? That tells me he knew that we would need comfort. Why would he send us a comforter if we weren't going to be comforted? This This stuff is not catching him by surprise.

The problems you're walking through right now are not catching him by surprise. Your valleys are not giving God a nervous breakdown. He's not about God's not having a bad mental health day. God's all right. He everything's okay in his world.

And he said, "I'm going to send you a comforter. I'm going to send you somebody to be with you. I'm going to send somebody to listen to you. I'm going to send somebody to help you." And you know who that somebody's going to be? It's going to be my spirit.

I am with you, but I'm going to come live inside of you. It's going to be a comforter because you're going to need comforted. I've come to tell you the Lord is here tonight to meet you at the point of your greatest need. He's here to meet you at the point of your deepest hunger. If you just if you're just hungry, all you have to do tonight is just want something from the Lord.

I'd like to preach to you about righteousness. I'd like to preach to you about holiness. I'd like to preach to you about godliness. I'd like to preach to you about all the ways you can step on the devil's head and spoil principalities and powers of the devil's kingdom. But trust me when I tell you, you get the power of the Holy Ghost in you.

You got all of that. Amen. He'll he'll be your help. He'll be your strength. He'll take you through.

He's the one that comes and lives on the inside and he enables you to do it. It's not your strength. It's not your power. It's not your stable mind. It's not your incredible discipline.

It's you just surrendering to the Lord and saying, "Lord, if you'll help me," and all you got to do is bless it. Blessed, blessed, blessed, blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness. See, not everybody's hungry, but blessed are they which do hunger. Not everybody does, but some do. I've been preaching right about 40 years now and I've learned I've preached every kind of thing you can preach.

I'm guess most of the pastors probably have. I've preached hell so hot I was afraid I was going. I've preached heaven so good I was ready to go tonight. See y'all later. I preached about everything enticing all the blessings, all the goodness of the Lord.

He daily loadth you with benefits. His mercies are fresh. He only thinks good thoughts toward us. He wants to help you, bless you, anoint you, use you, give you gifts, give you fruit. I've preached everything I know.

Every time I've ever preached, some come, some don't. Some pray, some watch. Some come get it, some walk away without it. I have set the buffet table and put everything I could imagine on the table and say, "Here it is. Come and dine." And some say, "Man, I'm getting me some of that." And some say, "No, thank you.

I'm going to the buffet down there at Golden Corral. Good luck down there. Hallelujah. Because the gospel works on the hungry. The call tonight is for somebody that's hungry.

Somebody that's willing to say, you know what, I need some help from heaven. I want a relationship with the Lord. I want to be a Christian. I want to I want to be strength for my family. I I want to be a light shining to this dark world.

I want to be a voice of hope in the midst of the hatred. I want to be love in the midst of all the chaos. I want my life to count. I want it to matter. And I'm telling you, if you're hungry for it, I I wouldn't I couldn't stop you.

If I If you're hungry for it, there's nothing in this place. Nobody can hinder you. When you're hungry for it, you don't get offended about this and that. I'm hungry. I'm hungry.

I need something from God. He's going to be your light shining. He's going to be your power just when you need it the most. I'll ask our musicians to come get quietly in place. We used to sing a song back in the old church, I call it.

It's one of my favorite little courses. He's an ontime God. Yes, he is. He may not come when you want him to, but he'll be there right on time. I've come to remind you tonight, little if you have a little faith or if you have a lot of faith, he's an ontime God.

And I' I I've preached, this is the fourth service in the last couple days just here in this vein. And I haven't felt it quite in the vein that I feel it tonight, but I feel very strong. I have a very strong prophetic gifting. And I feel it very strong tonight in this place. I've come to tell you, he's an ontime God for you.

For your valley, for your mountain, for your battle, for your calamity, for your fear, for your concern, for whatever is getting you down. He's an ontime God. Yes, he is. And he's on time tonight. And I got news for you.

He's not just a God of the mountains. He's a God of the valleys. So, I've preached to you about two things. And this is how I want to bring it to a close. I preached to you about the power of God.

And I I'll be honest with you, I've been preaching a while. I know I've not done a good job tonight. I'm aware of that. But I'm not worried about it. It's too much because I know the power of God is here.

But I preached to you the best that I could about the power of God. But I've also preached to you about his love and his comfort and his mercy and his grace. So the conclusion basically is this. He's power to overcome sin, but he's comfort to restore you when you fall. He's power to endure your trials, but he's comfort you to rejoice in the middle of them.

He's the power to cast out fear, and he's the comfort to guide you through uncertainty. He's the power to pray with boldness, and he's the comfort to intercede when you're out of words and you don't know what else to say. He's the power for you to be a witness. And he's comfort when you get rejected trying to share Christ. He's power to heal the sick and he's comfort to console grieving hearts.

He's power to break every chain. And he's the comfort when the answer feels delayed a little while. He's power for you to live with joy. And he's comfort wipe away every tear. I'm just telling you, he's everything you'll ever need.

And he'll be what you need just at the moment you need it the most. I wonder if you'd stand with me across the auditorium tonight. This is quite a moment of holiness. There is a stillness and a holiness in the atmosphere right here. Before I give an altar call for I invite you to come taste and see the goodness of the Lord.

And I know I feel the desperation in so many hearts. You're going to pray. God's going to meet you. It's going to be powerful. We have alder workers that have been praying and fasting and ministers that are here and pastors.

They're going to lay hands on you. You're about to be blessed beyond your imagination. but to prepare yourself for the holiness of the Almighty. I wonder if we could take a few minutes, every eye closed. And I wonder if we could all across this auditorium if we could just humble our hearts in a prayer of repentance before the Lord and tell the Lord, "We really do need you." And Lord, I've run to other escapes.

I've run to the vices of the world. I've tried other things to fill the emptiness of my heart. And none of it has really worked. And now Lord, I I realize I've just really needed you all along. Would you pray with me, church?

Everybody everywhere. Keyboards playing softly. Nobody's really listening to your prayer. They're praying their own. Lord, forgive us of our sins.

Cleanse our hearts and make us ready to receive your spirit. Make us ready, Lord, to receive your holiness tonight and your spirit of power. Let my heart become a sanctuary, oh God. I pray Lord that my heart would be a sanctuary of your holy presence. I'm not worthy Lord, but fill me with your spirit and help me walk.

I know there's a better life and there's a better me. There's a better version of me filled with your spirit. Oh God, I need you. I receive you into my heart. Can you use these words or something similar?

Lord, I receive you into my heart. I receive you into my life. I receive you, Lord. It's your strength I need. It's your help I need.

It's It's a relationship with you I want. It's your power that I hunger to walk in. I really do, Lord, want you more. I'm hungering. I feel such a hunger for the Lord in this place tonight.

You don't usually feel it like this except maybe when you're overseas in some of them environments, but I feel that holy desperation of people. You're believers. You love the Lord. You want a relationship. You want to live strong.

And the answer is we need a fresh baptism of the Holy Ghost. We need his spirit dwelling in all of us. God, we lay ourselves on the altar tonight that the fire could fall and find us as a sacrifice. Just about 30 more seconds and we'll change the order of the service. But could you just put yourself on the altar of sacrifice and say, "Here I am, Lord.

Send the fire." Others may not tonight, but tonight's my night. This is my moment. I'm gonna get what I need from God tonight in the name of Jesus. Let everybody say in Jesus name. Well, let me just say something a little bold.

If you have sincerely repented, if you have sincerely made a prayer using the words I was using or using your own by the authority of his word and the authority that is on me as a preacher and a man of God, I can tell you your sins have been forgiven and you are released in the name of Jesus. That's a spontaneous praise. Go ahead. the weights lifting off your shoulders right now. Woo!

I don't know if you feel what I feel, but I'm telling you, I feel the brush of angels wings. I feel the We're standing on holy ground. But you know what I started to say is equally important, perhaps even more important than you being forgiven of your sins and that weight and shackles being lifted. Is that you receive the power of God not to return to it, not to go back to the bondage, go back to the depression, go back to the fear, back to the anxiety, back to the battle. That's the power just when you need it.

It's going to help you. So that's what we call the baptism of the Holy Ghost and fire. And that comes with evidence of speaking in other tongues as the spirit of God gives you the utterance. So I want you to turn around to two or three people beside you, behind you, and asking, "You got this Holy Ghost preachers preaching about tonight? You speaking them tongues?

Have you been baptized in the fire?" Hey, don't lie. Don't lie. We just got done repenting. Say, "Ask me when the service is over. Something's getting ready to happen.

If you got a friend or a family member here with you tonight, you want to receive the baptism of the spirit, just walk down here right now. Come and stand. Come and stand. Bring your friend. Don't just send them down to the altar.

Walk down here with them. Say, "Come on, let's go. I'll go with you." Alter workers, you can start gathering in and getting ready. Bring your friend. Bring your family member.

I'm giving the first altar appeal for those that need the baptism of the Holy Ghost the most. Amen. and you want the spirit of God to fill you just behind them. I'll give them another 20 seconds or so. Those that want to be filled with the spirit, come right on in.

I'll give you some instructions once you get here. Anybody else you want to be filled? All right. Second wave. Those that maybe have received the spirit, but it's been a long time.

You really need a breakthrough. You genuinely need a refilling and a renewing in the spirit. the rapture were to happen tonight, you're not 100% sure where you stand. You love the Lord. You've got faith, but you need a fresh infilling and a fresh baptism.

Why don't you come? You'll be a renewal. You'll be a you get refired up. Amen. And you come and you stand as well.

That's the second wave of the altar. Got a lot of room on this side over here. If you want to come down and ease over to the right, get close. Woo! This is beautiful.

Beautiful. Beautiful. Come on. Those of you in the aisle here, just move on forward. Make some room for those that are coming in behind you.

Right behind them. Those of you that need a miracle in your body. You're dealing with some kind of cancer, some tumor, some disease. You need a miracle of healing or deliverance or a family reconciliation. You need a genuine miracle.

You come in and fill in. And if the altar's too full, you can fill up down the aisles and turn the aisles into altars as well. Here's what we're going to do. I'm going to give you some instructions. If you can try to listen to me, I would really appreciate it.

I want to give you some instructions to help everybody know how to pray. Most people know how to pray, but there could be a few here that aren't sure how. And so just to help everybody receive what they want to receive. Just a few simple instructions. Then we're going to start praying.

Power of God's here so strong. First thing you have to have is desire. Hunger. I've preached about that. And we're not going to make you do anything.

We're not going to force you to receive anything. You're going to hunger after the Lord. You're going to reach for him and he's going to do it. So the second thing is I want you to get your mind on Jesus. Everybody say Jesus.

Jesus. I've g you some great testimonies. I could have went on and on. I've been to Ethiopia and Pakistan, Nigeria, and India, and Singapore, and Malaysia, and Philippines, and it just goes on and on. I've seen more than 900,000 people receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost, speaking in tongues.

These eyes right here. But with all that said, I've never give one single person the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I'm not the giver. He's the giver. I'm a receiver just like you.

I just been there and been a privilege to be a part of witnessing what God has done in other people's lives. So tonight, I want you to get your mind on Jesus. Everybody say Jesus. Because this is coming directly from heaven to you. We may touch you on the back or lay hands on your head and pray with you and pray for you, but we can't give it to you.

He's going to do that. Then it's very important you have a little bit of faith. Everybody say faith. Now faith is a whole lot easier than what you think it is. Uh number one, I got faith for you.

So, if your faith's a little weak, lean on mine. A lot of these people standing around you have a whole lot of faith. They've been praying for you and for this service for weeks. Amen. But, um, here's how faith works.

If you can close your eyes and see yourself being blessed, see yourself standing there with your hands raised, power of God falling on you, big old smile coming on your face, joy of the Lord getting in your heart. Now, you're trying to say hallelujah, but it's coming out stammering lips and other tongues. You don't know what you're saying. And you're seeing all if you can just see it in your mind. You got enough faith.

That's all faith is. Is seeing it just before it happens. Hallelujah. Woo. Because of your faith.

I better hurry. I feel the power growing here. Because of your faith, we're going to get ready now to worship together. And and here's a here's a great way to worship. We raise our hands because we're surrendering to the Lord.

And then we lift our heads because our help's coming from the Lord. We've already repented and got our hearts right. Nothing is standing but you more ready right now than you've probably been in your whole life. Here I am, Lord. And you begin to worship him.

Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I love you, Jesus. I praise you, Lord.

And I promise you, if you'll worship the Lord like that, you'll feel him like I feel him right now. The more you worship him, the more you will feel him because your voice and your passion is your connection with the Lord. The more passionate you get with God, the stronger his spirit can be attracted and flow to you. God inhabits praise and worship. While you're worshiping, you're going to begin to say hallelujah.

And then it's going to come out sounds and syllables. You won't know what you're saying, but it's not gibberish. It's not nonsense. You'll speaking the wonderful works of God. You'll be praising God in some language, heaven or earth.

We don't know. We're not language experts. We're not going to try to figure it out. Amen. All I'm telling you is when you begin to speak in another tongue, don't stop it.

Allow yourself. Allow it to flow. Just let the spirit Your brain won't be controlling it. Your voice will be speaking, but your brain won't control it. You'll just give yourself to the Lord and let him flow through you.

I think we're ready. all the way to the back. Those of you up here, I see you're holding microphones, so you can maybe try to lift up one hand. Men of God, lift your hands up all over the place, every eye closed. I'm going to speak a word of faith.

When I speak the word of faith, I'm going to shout hallelujah in the microphone. And I want to ask somebody that'll shout it louder than I'm able to. Tonight, we're going to start with the singular praise. Hallelujah. all of us in 100% unity and all together.

And some of you are going to get out about three or four hallelujah and you're going to be speaking in tongues by the authority of the word of God. And by the power of the name Jesus, I release you into his arms now. Receive the power and baptism of the Holy Ghost and fire and your miracle you need. Receive it now. Hallelujah.
