Summary
Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.
Reaching Up for What God Has
- He opens by calling the young people to raise their hands and receive what God is about to pour out — the joy and hope the enemy stole — declaring that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
- Greater is He that lives in you than he that is in the world: there is no need to be ashamed or afraid, because when you cry out the name of Jesus, all authority is in that saving name — for hope, for healing, for a miracle.
- He thanks Move the Mission and its mission movers: the same effort, back when it was She's for Christ, funded the Michigan youth camp where he received the gift of the Holy Ghost at an altar, and last year his daughter Ariana received the Holy Ghost at general conference during the youth service.
A Prophecy at the Gate of Samaria
- He reads 2 Kings 7: Samaria is surrounded by the Syrians, one of the most powerful armies of the time, and the people inside are also facing a famine so severe it was simply bad — they were eating what no one should have to eat.
- Into that situation the man of God speaks the word of the Lord: tomorrow about this time, fine flour shall be sold for a shekel and two measures of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria.
- The officer on whose hand the king leaned answers with doubt — "Look, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, could this thing be?" — which in modern terms is just: you're crazy. The word to him: you shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it.
- He warns the young people how often faith is spoken over us and we just pass it by and write it off, exactly as this officer did.
Scriptures: 2 Kings 7; 2 Kings 7:1; 2 Kings 7:2
Why Sit Here Until We Die?
- The four leprous men sat at the entrance of the gate as outcasts: in biblical times there was no cure and no answer for leprosy, and they had to live on the outskirts crying, "I'm unclean," caught between the famine in the city and the Syrian army outside it.
- Their reasoning was plain: if we enter the city, the famine is there and we die; if we sit here, we die also; so let us surrender to the Syrians — if they keep us alive, we live, and if they kill us, we shall only die. They were not being heroes; they were just hungry, and they decided to move.
- When they came to the outskirts of the Syrian camp, no one was there: the Lord had caused the Syrian army to hear the noise of chariots, horses, and a great army, and they had fled at twilight, leaving their tents, horses, and donkeys behind.
- The great army that terrified the Syrians was only four leprous men who struggled to get there. It wasn't the most talented, the most educated, or the best singer that provided the miracle — it was an outcast who said, "I can't sit here, or I'm going to die."
Scriptures: 2 Kings 7:6
A Chosen Generation That Refuses to Sit
- He reminds somebody of 1 Peter 2:9: "You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people" — you, you, and you — against the thought that God can't use you.
- He tells his own story: a special education student from elementary through high school who couldn't read, until one day he decided he couldn't stay there — he would move, trust Jesus, start reading the Bible, and start preaching and telling somebody about Jesus — and miracles began to unlock.
- When we move, miracles begin; when we decide not to sit on the sideline, things happen. This church thing is not a spectator sport.
- We are thermostats, not thermometers: you set the temperature of your school, of wherever you go, and of the church — be the first to worship, the first to jump, the first to clap, the first to the altar.
Scriptures: 1 Peter 2:9
Not Ashamed of the Gospel's Power
- Romans 1:16: "I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power" — he loves radical worship, but he loves even more when the power of God walks into a room and changes everything.
- He testifies of a baby with an infection in the brain, put in the ICU with a port for antibiotics, whose outcome looked finished — but something happens when we decide to pray: the parents went up every day, he went up every day and prayed, and last week the baby came home healthy and alive.
- God will give you all the authority and the words to say to walk in your school with boldness, but not if you sit in your chair waiting for somebody else to do it. Take that one step of faith — "Lord, I don't know what to say, but I'm taking the chance" — and watch Him open door after door, as with the Baptist man in his city who texted asking to hear what he believes.
- Walking by faith is not blind faith; when we walk by faith and begin to move, that's when we see the clearest. In Him we live and move and have our being (Acts 17) — everything we do is in God.
- John 5:39 — "Search the scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life," but these are they that testify of Jesus. This whole thing is about Jesus and getting people to heaven, not about us: less of me, more of You.
Scriptures: Romans 1:16; Acts 17; John 5
The Word Comes to Pass — So Follow
- When the leprous men moved, the people went out and plundered the tents of the Syrians, and the flour and barley sold exactly according to the word of the Lord: the promises are still true, this word is still faithful, and it is still coming to pass.
- Psalm 119:11 — "Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You" — and forever, Lord, Your word is settled in heaven; it should be settled in your mind and in your heart. Buy the truth and sell it not.
- It wasn't the talented, the mighty, or the biggest army that saved the city; it was four leprous men who decided to move.
- In Matthew 4, Jesus walking by the Sea of Galilee calls Simon Peter and Andrew, then James and John: "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men" — and they immediately left their nets, their boat, and their father and followed Him. They moved, not knowing where they were going.
- Because they moved: Andrew brought a child to Jesus with five loaves and two fishes and was a key to a miracle that impacted thousands; John wrote five books of the New Testament; Peter got the revelation of who Jesus was, walked on water, and one day preached Acts 2:38 — repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost — unlocking salvation for everyone.
- Acts 4:12: there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. The goal is souls — fishers of men. What will your move unlock? A whole school can be unlocked because you started a P7 club; a whole college because you started a CMI chapter. It starts with one.
Scriptures: Psalms 119:11; Psalms 119; Matthew 4:18; Acts 2:38; Acts 4:12
The Miracle Happens at the First Step
- He returns to 2 Kings 7:5-7: the leprous men arose at twilight to go to the camp of the Syrians, and when those four men took that first step at twilight, that is when the Syrian army heard the mighty army — it wasn't right before the camp, and it wasn't when they got to the camp; it was the first step of faith, and that's when the miracle happened.
- God is providing a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, and He is only asking for that one step of faith.
- He opens the altars: take that first step of faith for your miracle — maybe it's for your mother, your lost brother, your lost father, your lost friend, or your school. If you need the Holy Ghost, this is the place to get it right now; if you're looking for a calling, this is the place. "Here I am, Lord. Send me."

That's it. Young people, raise your hands and receive what God is about to pour out in this room. We We begin to worship and we BEGIN TO BATTLE AND PRAISE. But now receive it. Raise your hands and receive that joy that the enemy has stole from you. That hope that the enemy has stolen from you. Maybe it's been health. Maybe it's been confidence. I WANT YOU TO REACH UP AND GRAB WHAT GOD HAS FOR YOU RIGHT NOW. LORD, are you Lord? Are you holy? The alpha and the omega is here.
The finisher is here. He can renew your mind. He can give you hope and joy. Weeping may endure for a night, BUT JOY COMES IN THE MORNING. We serve a real big great God. Does anybody else believe that in this room? We serve a real God. Oh, I'm so thankful. You know what, worship team? Thank you. I needed that song. We can find our way back to our seats. I'm not going to squander the spirit, but I believe God wants to move in this place. I know God wants to move in this place because where two or three are gathered and they agree upon one thing, things start to happen.
Young people, I want to just remind you, greater is he that lives in you than he that's in this world. We don't need to be ashamed. We don't need to be afraid. I know school has started, but greater is he that's in you than he that's in the world. When you cry out the name of Jesus, all the gates of hell shake and all authority in that powerful, wonderful, saving name of Jesus. I'M GLAD I KNOW MY GOD'S NAME. And his name is Jesus with all authority.
When I need hope, I call on that name, Jesus. WHEN I NEED A HEALING, I CALL ON THAT NAME, JESUS. WHEN I NEED A MIRACLE, I CALL ON that name, Jesus. You may be seated. Thank you for welcoming me to section two. What a great section. I have great friends, man. GQ, you rocking that piano. Nate, my goodness, Nate, what a drummer. What a drummer. I forgive me. I I'm a musician by heart or that's I love to play. I'm a a guitar player or a recovering guitar player.
But brother Tyson, Sister Tyson, it's great to see you. Ella, it's great to see you, man. There's so many great people in this room. Brother Williferford, once again, I I am just grateful to be with you and you preach my ordination service and I was so thankful and it feels like so long ago. Um, man, time flies. Pastor Dong and Sister Dongs, thank you for welcoming me and si sister Sister Wright and brother Wright, thank you for having me during youth week. I believe God wants to speak to us today.
Amen. I believe God wants to speak to us today. Amen. Aaron, thank you for opening your house last night for us to hang out and it was cool. Um, I love this church. There's great people in this church. If if you go to this church, you're blessed. If you don't, I'm sorry. I'm just kidding. I'm just joking. I um I gotta be careful. I Yeah. Let's move on. Turn with me. 2 Kings 7 1-7. 2 Kings 7 1-7. Sister Stafford. It's great to see you. Claire, it's wonderful to see you.
I love the Staffords. Jeremy is preaching in Canada and I'm so thankful he's moving the mission around the world. What a mighty man of God. And I'm excited to see what the future holds for you guys. Shout amen if you have it. Or how about you shout amen if you have your Bible. Shout amen if you're going to cheat and look at the screen. Bruce, I caught you, bro. I caught you, Bruce. Oh man, I love Mood the mission. Who? I real quick. Is there any mission movers in this room?
Did I see? Don't be nervous. Stand up if you're a mission mover. No, you don't want to stand up. Okay. Well, let's give our mission movers a round of applause. Man, I'm so thankful for Mood the Mission back then when it was she's for Christ. Yes, brother Tyson. I'm getting that old. I'm just kidding. When I had hair, um I found myself at a Michigan campground at an altar where I received the gift of the Holy Ghost at a youth camp. And it was because of She's for Christ that funded that camp.
And I'm so thankful for She's for Christ. So, thank you for moving the mission. Thank you for being mission movers. You're changing the world. Honestly, last year my beautiful daughter Ariana got the gift of the Holy Ghost at general conference during youth service. So, I'm so thankful for Move the Mission. It's changing my life. It's changing the next generation. It's changing my daughter's life. And lastly, I have to say thank you to my beautiful wife. Thank you for being here. I don't always get to travel with my beautiful wife and I can't say old jokes because she's here.
Um, you guys will catch that later maybe. 2 Kings 7 1-7. Then Elijah said, "Hear the word of the Lord." Who loves the word of the Lord? Good answer. Good answer. Thus says the Lord, "Tomorrow about this time, a sea of fine flour shall be sold for a shekele, and two seas of barley for a shekele at the gate of Samaria." So an officer on whose hand the king leaned answered, the man of God, and said, "Look, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, could this thing be?" And he said, "In fact, you shall see it with your eyes." You know, it's so amazing.
We still serve a miracle working God that we see miracles with our own eyes and he still does that today. Who's thankful for that? Now there will be a there let me in fact you'll see it with your own eyes but you shall not eat of it. Now there were four lepous men. Say lepous men at the entrance of the gate and they said to one another just hear this is profound. I'm telling you it's deep. There's great wisdom here. Why are we sitting here until we die?
If we say we will enter the city, the famine is in the city, and we shall die there. Wow. And if we say here, we die also. Now therefore, come, let us surrender ourselves to the army of the Syrians. If they keep us alive, we live. I mean, these were really wise, lepous men. Then next line says, "And if they kill us, we shall only die." Very deep, man. Young people, these guys were wise. Anyways, and they arose at twilight to go to the camp of the Syrians.
And when they had come to the outskirts of the Syrian camps, to their surprise, no one was there. For the Lord had caused the army of Assyrians to hear the noise of chariots, the noise of horses, the noise of a great army. So they said to one another, "Look, the king of Israel has hired against us the king of the Hittites, and the king of the Egyptians to attack us." Therefore, they rose and fled at twilight and left the camp intact, their tents, their horses, their donkeys, and they fled for their lives.
I want somebody to look next to you. Look to the person next to you. Look to the other person and tell them it's your move. It's your move. I love board games. Does anybody else love board games? I am as big as a nerd as you know. Um I'm Nate. I'm a huge bird guy. Like there's this board game I play. It's called Wingspan and it teaches you all these names of these birds. Yes, I am telling you how nerdy I am. There's thousands. That's my guy, right?
Like the eastern bluebird is the Missouri bird, right? Okay. I I try I try. Um, just recently the Staffords, we went to New Zealand and I checked off like 10 birds that are just amazing that nobody sees. And yes, that's how crazy I am. You know you're getting old when you enjoy watching birds. Anyways, it it'll catch up to you guys. But it's your move, right? It's your move today. Somebody say move. When you're reading 2 Kings chapter 7, we are witnessing Samaria being surrounded by their enemy, the Syrians, one of the most powerful armies of the time, young people.
But this is not the only thing wrong in this picture because the people were also facing a famine as well. So Elijah stated, "Tomorrow about this time, a sea of fine flour shall be sold for a shekele and two seas of barley for a shekele at the gate of Samaria." That would have been a miracle. That would have been a blessing. Wow. He basically said, you know, you know what's crazy to me? You know how much times when like you're you have faith spoken over you and then you just pass it by, right?
Like somebody tells you like, "Hey, have faith." Tells you something profound and you just write it off. That's what happens here in second kings 7:2 when the officer on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God and said, "Look, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, could this thing be?" I would like to translate that in modern day times. You're crazy. You're insane. That's crazy. Do you expect me to believe that windows in heaven would open up and all the frozen custard would fall out of the sky?
That would be great. I know you St. Louis. Oh, Missurrians. Missurans. Yeah. Maybe all the emos pizza that would fall out of the sky with that terrible cheese that you guys call great. I'm just kidding. I know where I'm at. I gotta be careful there. There's this wildly debate that we have. We We have ordered pizza for after that. I got to try Let brother Wright try this. It's called Jets Pizza. Detroit style. It'll change your life. You'll thank me later. There's one down the road.
So, Detroit style. It's amazing. Okay. Any toppings, just order it. But this was this is what happened. The the this man was like, "Can I We're eating bird poop." That's what was happening this time. Have you ever had a McFlurry? I'm just Sister Stafford, just think about that. Okay, I would like Who's ever when the machines are working, right? When the McDonald like what is up with that, Brother Tyson? We need to fix that problem. But they were eating donkeys and babies. It was bad. It was bad.
Listen, we get a flat tire. We stub our toes, young people. to scratch your forehead. Like you think, my lord, what's going on? It was bad. This situation was terrible. And not only that, it gets worse. It gets worse for four lepous men. You see, during biblical times, when you had leprosy, you were outcast to the city. There was no cure. There was no answer to that problem. There was no shot you could take or medicine that you could you could take. You were outcast and you had to walk around saying, "I'm unclean.
I'm unclean." How terrible would that be? Not only did you have body parts falling off, somebody might lose a nose, a hand, a toe, fingers, but you had to live in the outskirts of the camp. So, not only did they have to worry about the famine, they had to worry about the Syrian army, they're outcasts. How terrible would that have been? I need somebody to say, "Move." We see something happen though here. What's amazing is these four lepous men were what we read, they're outside of the gate, right?
they would have not heard the prophecy of Elisha, right? We might be thinking, you might be reading this in second Kings like maybe they heard the prophecy and they're like thinking, I'll be the one. I'll go. No, they were out there. They So the these lepous men were not being heroes. They were just hungry. Anybody get that hungry, right? Listen, I can tell you a story about my wife. Um she gets hangry. I'm gonna try to preach really fast because if not, she's going to be like, "Hey, it's time to go.
Pizza's coming." But they decided to move. That's all they did. They decided, "I can't stay here. I can't stay in this one place. If I stay here, what? I'm going to die." 2 Kings 7:6 tells us, "For the Lord had caused the army of the Syrians to hear the noise of chariots, the noise of a horse, the noise of a great army. So they said to one another, "Look, I want you to catch this, young people. The Syrian army thought they heard a great army, but you know what all it was?
It was four lepous men that probably struggled to get there that just probably one of them maybe crawled. One of them maybe had to pick the other one up. That was the army. That was what scared everybody. Are you kidding me? But you see, that provided the miracle. That provided the way to save that city. get a glimpse of that young people. It wasn't the most talented. It wasn't the most educated. It wasn't the best singer. No, no, no. It was an outcast that provided the miracle to the city.
It was an outcast that said, "I can't stand here. I can't sit here or I'm going to die." Shout amen if you're with me. But tonight, I want to remind somebody in 1 Peter 2:9, "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, his own special people. You, you, you, and you." And you might be thinking, "God can't use me." Let me tell you about this special ed student that you're looking at right now that was in special ed from elementary, middle school, high school.
I couldn't read a lick. But I decided one day, I can't stay here. But I decided, I'm going to move. I'm going to trust Jesus and say, you know what? I can't read, but I'm going to start reading the Bible. I can't read, but I'm going to start preaching. I'm going to tell somebody about Jesus. And then something happened. Miracles start to unlock. When we move, miracles begin. When we decide to not sit along the the sideline, let me tell you this church thing is not a spectator sport.
I'm just telling you when you sit down and you're just that's not we we don't we we don't come to church to be a spectator. I tell this to my church and they're getting tired already hearing it, but we are thermostats, not thermometers. We set the temperature of I believe this young people with all my heart. You set the temperature of your school. You set the temperature wherever you go. And we definitely set the temperature of the church. So when you get to youth service, I hope you're not the last one sitting down.
I hope when worship begins, you're not the last one to be sitting down. But I pray that you're a thermostat. You're setting the temperature of the room. And you're the first one to worship. You're the first one to jump. You're the first one to clap their hands. You're the first one to the altar because you're setting the temperature. Something happens when we begin to move. What? You know, living things move. My mom would always say, "Lose uh move it or lose it." Oh, you guys might must have the same mom or something, man.
Right. I could tell you stories. Anyways, it's your move, young people. I'm looking for a group of young people that believes Romans 1:16 that says, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. That's great. I love preaching that when we want to worship like crazy. Wasn't worship so wonderful? It was so powerful. The spirit of God was in here. But there's another part. If they throw that verse up there, Romans 1:16, it says, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power." For it is the power.
Look at I love getting radical in worship. I love jumping around. Yes, I like to party. That is the the the quote of the week, I guess. But you know what I love even more is the power of God. I love when the power of God walks into a room and changes everything. You got to forgive me because just recently when we got voted in as being pastors, there was a young baby that had an illness that had an infection in the brain and the it was over.
It was over. The doctors they put him in the ICU. They they didn't know what was going to happen. They're they put a port in. They're putting antibiotics there. But something happens when we decide to pray. Something happens when we begin to move. And every day that parent would go up there. Every day I would go up there and pray for that baby. Let me tell you, last week it came home and it is healthy and it is alive and well. That's the God that we serve.
That's the God that WE HAVE ALL POWER AND AUTHORITY. That he still does miracles, signs, and wonders. But we have to decide to move. We have to decide. It's your move, young people. It's Listen, I believe God will give you all authority that you need to walk in your school with all boldness. He'll give you the words to say. But I can tell you this, he's not going to do that if you sit in your chair. He's not going to do that if you just sit at your desk and and think, you know what, somebody else is gonna Brother Tyson would just come to my church.
He'll he'll pray everybody through the Holy Ghost. That's good. That's fine. No, no, no, no. Something happens when you take that one step of faith to say, "Lord, I don't know what to say, but you know what? I'm taking the chance. Lord, I don't know what this is going to look like, but you know what? I'm taking the chance. Lord, I don't know what to tell my friends. I don't want to look silly, but you whatever. I got to tell somebody ABOUT THE GOODNESS OF GOD.
And I'm going to take a move and just wait and just watch. When God starts to open up door after door and opportunity after opportunity, he'll provide a way out. The Bible tells me he'll provide a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. That's the God that we serve. When we begin to move, things happen. Let me tell you there there is a Baptist individual in my city right now that I thought I would never be able to tell about the the salvation, the truth about salvation, but he text me.
He said, "Next Thursday, I want to hear about what you believe in." Those are the doors that are going to open up when you just take a step of faith. It doesn't make sense. It doesn't add up. When we walk by faith, that's when God operates. That's when we see the clearest. I know. I know. Last Wednesday, I was telling you, you know, walking by faith, we think it's blind faith. No. When we walk by faith, we see the clearest we can. And that's what I'm trying to preach to you young people.
When you walk by faith and you begin to move, things happen. Acts 17 and 28 says, "For in him we live and move and have our being." Everything we do is in God. Everything we operate is in God. We we should move for God, for his glory, for his purpose. That's why he created us. Hallelujah. It says in John 5 and 39 it says, "Search the scriptures for in them. You think you have eternal life." We think this is all about us. We think this is all about how we feel good and what we look like.
No. He says, "Search the scriptures." He's talking to the Pharisees. He says, "In them you think you have eternal life, but these are they that testify of me. This whole thing is about Jesus." This whole thing is about getting people to heaven. Do we still want to see people to heaven? I want to see as many as my friends make it to heaven. I want TO SEE AS MANY OF MY FRIENDS AND MY FAMILY MEMBERS. I can't wait to make it TO HEAVEN BECAUSE THIS IS NOT ABOUT ME.
BUT THIS IS ABOUT ME TAKING A DECIDE. And I'm going to take a step of faith and say less of me and more of you, GOD. LESS ABOUT MY PRIDE. LESS ABOUT WHAT I look like. And let me step into your purpose and your plan. It's your move. It's your move. Listen. Listen what happens in second Kings 7 and 16. When the leperous men decide to move, then the people went out and plundered the tents of the Syrians. So a sea, a fine flour, was sold for a shekele and two seas of barley for a shekele according to what?
The word of the Lord. The promises are still true. This word is still faithful. This word is still good. I'm going to tell you this. Buy the truth and sell it not. Psalm 119:11, "Your word I have hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you." Psalm 11989, forever, Lord, your word is settled in heaven. This word should be settled in your mind. This word should be settled in your heart. You shall love it because it is true and right, and it's still coming to pass.
It wasn't the talented that saved that city. It wasn't the mighty that saved that city. It wasn't the army, the biggest, baddest, mighty men of that. It was four lepous men. It probably looked terrible for them to get to that Syrian camp. It It probably didn't look pretty, but they decided to move if the worship team can make their way up. Let's fast forward real quick to the New Testament. Matthew 4:18-22 says, "And Jesus walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon, called Peter and Andrew, his brother, casting a net into the sea.
They were fishermen." Then he said to them, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." They immediately, what? Left their nets and followed him. May I say, they immediately moved. They immediately took a step of faith. They had no idea where they were going. Anybody else think that's crazy? I'm telling you, Pastor Dong see me in a in a fishing. I'm fishing. Actually, one, if I'm fishing, don't bother me. I probably don't want to talk to anybody if I'm out there. I'm definitely not leaving if I'm fishing.
But these men said, "Okay, love you. I'll follow." It happens again. And going on from there, he saw two brothers, James, the son of Zebedee, and John, his brother, in the boat with Zebedee, their father, mending their nets. He called them and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him. This is Jesus saying, "Follow me." They left their father. Wow. They moved. Jesus basically said in layman turns, "It's your move. It's your move. What will you decide? It's your move. Will you follow me or just stay there fishing?" Let me show you something real quick.
We witnessed Andrew because he moved, bringing a child to Jesus with five loaves and two fishes. And because he moved, he was a key to a miracle that impacted 20,000 people just because because of one move. I know you're thinking, "Ah, I can't make an impact." You can one move and James is going to witness countless miracles and see individuals be brought to life because he decided to move that day. John, wow. JOHN WRITES FIVE BOOKS of the New Testament because he decided to move. Young people, what are we limiting God in our life doing?
Not moving. Those moments that he wakes you up in the middle of the night, don't shut him out. Those moments when he says during the middle of the day, hey, turn to this page in the Bible. Let me reveal something to you. That that name he puts on your heart to go speak to. Don't ignore it. Don't ignore it. And because of Peter and he moved, he got the revelation who Jesus was. He walked on water. His shadow caused miracles. And one day he preached Acts 2:38 because he moved.
Then Peter said, "Repent. Everyone be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost because of Peter's move. He unlocks salvation for everyone in this room. What will your move unlock? It's okay. I know you might be saying, "I'm I'm not old enough." These were not grown men. These were not 50 year olds or 60 year olds. And some of them might have been really young. We don't know the exact age, but they weren't old men.
What will your move unlock, young people? What will happen in your school when you say less of me, God, and more of you? I will not be ashamed of this gospel because my school needs to see the power of God to salvation. That's what it says. Power to salvation. THAT IS THE GOAL IS salvation to seek and to save those who are lost. IT'S ALL ABOUT SOULS. IT'S ALL about fishers of men. Oh, what will your move unlock? Will it unlock the salvation of your whole family?
Will it unlock you finally getting the go the Holy Ghost? Taking a step of faith. Maybe you take a step of faith and you you feel like I don't you've been struggling understanding baptism and God's saying just trust me. Just trust me. Take a step of faith and I'll reveal my mighty name to you. I'll reveal salvation to you. I'll reveal Acts 4:12. Nor is there salvation in any other. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
A whole city might be unlocked because you decided to move. A whole school can be unlocked because you decided to start a P7 club this year. A whole college could be unlocked because you started a CMI chapter. It starts with one. It starts with one. Oh my god. My God. My God. Hurry with me real quick. I want to get to this and I'll open these altars. 2 Kings 75-7. Shout amen if you're with me. I love the word of God and how it works. And they rose at twilight to go to the camp of the Syrians.
They rose at twilight to go to the camp of the Syrians. And when they had come to the outskirts of the Syrian camps, to their surprise, there was no one. God provided the miracle. For the Lord had caused the army of the Syrians to hear the noise of the chariots and the noise of horses and the noise of a great army. And they said to one another, "Look, the king of the Israel had hired us, the kings of the Hittites and the king of the Egyptians to attack us." Verse seven is where I want to go.
I told you they arose at twilight. Therefore, they arose and fled at young people. When those four lepous men took that first step at twilight, that's when the Syrian army heard this mighty army. That's when the Syrian army heard the horses and the chariots. at twilight, at that first step. At that first step, AT THAT FIRST STEP OF FAITH, THAT'S WHEN THE MIRACLE HAPPENED. IT WASN'T right before the camp. IT WASN'T WHEN THEY GOT TO THE CAMP. IT WAS THE FIRST STEP. GOD IS PROVIDING A WAY RIGHT now in the wilderness.
And you don't understand. And he's just asking you tonight, take that one step of faith. He's going to provide rivers in the wilderness. Just take one step of faith. HE'S GOING TO PROVIDE A RIVER IN THE DESERT. Just take that one step of faith. If we can stand right now, miracles can be unlocked in this room if you just take one step of faith. LORD, I TRY MY BEST TO preach to these young people with my whole heart and my whole mind. Now, you provide the increase.
You provide the spirit. God, pour out your spirit. Because I believe there is a young person, a young man, and a young lady that's going to say, "I don't care what I look like tonight." That's going to say, "I DON'T CARE WHAT I SOUND LIKE TONIGHT, BUT I got to touch the throne of heaven. I need a miracle in my life." Young people, I open these altars that I open these altars for somebody that's going to say, "I take that first step of faith for that miracle." Maybe it's for your mother.
Maybe it's for your lost brother. Maybe it's for your lost father. Maybe it's for your lost friend. Maybe it's for your school. That's it. You know what I hear? I hear a mighty army. I hear a mighty army rising. Chariots, horses, a mighty army is rising up right now. And they're fil I feel. That's it. Make some room. Make some room. Maybe there's an adult in this room that needs a miracle. Maybe there's somebody that needs the Holy Ghost in this room and just take one step of faith right now.
I believe in miracles, signs, and wonders. Callings can be poured out in this room right now. Callings can take place right now. That's it. Young people, begin to pray. Take that step of faith. Yes, God. That's it. That's beautiful. That's beautiful. Young people, begin to pray. Thank you, God. That's it. Receive what God has for you right now. That's beautiful. That young people, if you need the Holy Ghost, this is the place to get it right now. If you're looking for a calling, this is the place to get it right now.
Use them for your glory. Lord, I'm yours. That's it, young people. Get so hungry for the move of God in your life. Get so hungry for God to operate in your mind and your soul. That's it. If you don't know what to do, just raise your hand and look up and say, "God, I need you. God, I need you to move in my life and use them for your glory. Lord, I'm yours. Send me. Take my hands. Take my feet. You can use them for your glory.
Use them for your glory. Lord, I'm yours. Here I am. Here I am. Send me. That's it. Take a step of faith right now. Take a step of faith and say, "I don't care what I sound like. I don't care what I look like. I need a move of God in my life. I need a miracle. That's it. Take one more step of faith. You might not have pray hard so long, but take that step of faith.
