Summary

Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.

Faith Is Substance and Evidence

  • He opens by reading Hebrews 11: faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.
  • Faith is not a feeling, wishful thinking, or hoping something good might happen one day; it is substance and evidence.
  • Faith says, "I don't see it yet, but I still believe God," and keeps praying while the prayer is still unanswered.
  • Circumstances may speak loudly, but the word of God must have the final say.
  • He poses the sermon's question: if faith is the evidence of things not seen, what evidence can people see in our lives that shows we still believe God?
  • When adversity comes — a doctor's report, a family under attack, stretched finances, a weary spirit — genuine faith eventually produces something somebody can see.

Scriptures: Hebrews 11

It's Been Hid Long Enough

  • He preaches to people who have believed God in private: prayed in private, wept in private, and fought battles nobody can see.
  • There comes a moment when the faith God has been developing on the inside must begin to express itself on the outside.
  • A faith that is alive on the inside ought to be visible on the outside; faith must become greater than fear.
  • Fear of what others may say or think is one of the greatest enemies of visible faith; embarrassment, criticism, and other people's opinions must stop dictating the response.
  • He refuses to keep maintaining an image while nothing changes, and to keep living the same way and getting the same results.

The Woman Who Touched His Garment

  • Mark chapter 5 tells of a woman who suffered with an issue of blood for twelve years.
  • Mark 5:26 says she had suffered many things from many physicians, spent all she had, had not improved, and grew worse.
  • She had exhausted her resources, but she had not exhausted her faith; when she heard Jesus was passing through, she came in the press behind him.
  • Verse 28 says she said within herself, "If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole" — her private conviction became a public pursuit.
  • She understood the regulations, the stigma, and the crowd barrier, but she did not allow the crowd to become greater than her conviction or her condition to dampen her expectation.
  • When she touched Jesus, she was healed; faith in demonstration is bigger than what your past may scream to you right now.

Scriptures: Mark 5; Mark 5:26; Mark 5:28

Reach One More Time: Diligent Faith

  • He urges people who have prayed and been disappointed not to resign themselves to living with hidden faith; disappointment doesn't have to have the final say.
  • The fact that you have suffered a long time doesn't mean you've suffered too long for God to work.
  • Hebrews 11:6 declares that without faith it is impossible to please God, and that those who come to him must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.
  • Diligent faith keeps seeking, keeps praying, keeps believing, and keeps worshiping when it doesn't make sense; it refuses to let disappointment become an excuse to abandon God.
  • Faith should be seen in the words we speak, in our prayer life, in our worship, at the altar, in a determination to live righteously, and in commitment to the word of God.

Scriptures: Hebrews 11:6

Blind Bartimaeus Would Not Be Silenced

  • In Mark chapter 10, blind Bartimaeus sat by the highway; when he heard it was Jesus of Nazareth passing by, he began to cry out, "Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me."
  • He could not see Jesus, but he understood an opportunity was in front of him that he might never get again, and he refused to let his blindness silence his conviction.
  • Verse 48 says many charged him that he should hold his peace, but he would not let other people's opinions outweigh the opportunity that was present.
  • His cry got Jesus to stop: one voice stopped the crowd because one person allowed their faith to become visible.
  • Verse 50 says he cast away his garment — the identity he had been known by — rose, and came to Jesus.
  • Jesus asked what he wanted; he answered, "Lord, that I might receive my sight," and Jesus said, "Thy faith has made thee whole"; he received his sight and followed Jesus in the way.
  • Jesus will never leave you the way he finds you, but you determine the way you go after the miracle happens.

Scriptures: Mark 10; Mark 10:48; Mark 10:50

Come Out of Hiding and Obey

  • He turns to those who have never come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and recounts the sacrifice: Jesus robed himself in flesh, became the perfect sacrifice, and died on Calvary so that all sins can be forgiven.
  • There is no sin bigger than the blood of Christ; when you repent, he is just to forgive, and there is no more condemnation for those in Christ.
  • In Acts chapter 2 and verse 38: repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost; the promise is unto you and to your children and to all that are afar off.
  • He recounts Jesus and Nicodemus: except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God, and except a man be born of water and Spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
  • He presses the invitation to step out from where you are and let faith become visible through obedience.

Scriptures: Acts 2:38-39

Not Ashamed of the Gospel

  • Paul told the church in Rome, "I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth" — and we cannot be ashamed either.
  • Paul had watched Stephen die a martyr's death and could never escape that testimony; on the Damascus road God gave him a revelation he could not argue away.
  • We cannot hide what somebody else needs to hear; God is bringing this church into a realm of influence, and faith must be put on display so the Father in heaven is glorified.
  • He closes with an altar invitation: lift up your hands, come to the front, repent, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost — what do you need God to intervene in?

I'll read for my text today and I'll have you be seated. I'll read one verse and this will be where I will launch from today. Now faith. Hebrews chapter 11. Now, somebody say now. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. I do not believe that our faith was ever intended to remain hidden. I believe today that God through his infinite wisdom is going to allow faith to take hold of our heart.

And from today's service, it will be revealed in our actions. It will be revealed in perseverance and persistence that will follow us and lead us in guidance. And before we close these lights out, our worship and our willingness to give him the praise, the glory, and the honor that he deserves will be reflected by how convinced we are that God is working for us and through us. If you believe that, would you one more time clap your hands?

Thank you, Lord. Thank you for what you're giving. Thank you for what you're going to speak in Jesus name. to anoint the hearer of the word at this moment in Jesus name. Everybody say amen. You may be seated. I want to preach to you for a little bit this morning. I really have two titles, but this will be the one that I will reference and I'll go back and forth. Faith that can be seen. And if I would have put a disclaimer and tried to invoke fresh faith in you today, it would simply be this.

It's been hid long enough. I said it's been hid long enough. There's something powerful about the way the writer of Hebrews introduces faith to us. I know I just read it, but I want to emphasize this this morning that he does not put pen to parchment trying to convince us that a description of faith as a feeling. Amen. He does not describe faith as a as wishful thinking or a wish. He does not describe faith as simply believing that something good might happen one of these days.

If I just believe long enough, something might happen. But here is what stood out to me in prayer, in preparation, that faith is described as substance and evidence. Substance and evidence. Faith is the substance to what we are hoping for. But faith gives evidence of what we cannot yet see. Faith says, "I don't see it yet, pastor, but I still believe God." Faith says, "I haven't seen the prayer answered yet, but I'm still going to keep praying." faith says, "I don't know how, God, you're going to do it, but I stand in the sanctuary and I say, I know he's able.

I know he can. I know he will." That's what my faith says. Faith may I know our circumstances speak sometimes louder than our faith. And our circumstances may convince us one thing. But the word of God must have the final say in our lives. The word of God has spoken something greater to us in this house today. Uh and here is the question that I will propose. Uh if faith is the evidence of things not seen, what evidence can people see in our lives that cause them to know I still believe God?

I know I said a I know I said a mouthful, but can those around you and those that know you understand that yes, he hasn't answered every prayer yet, but I'm still going to worship him. He hasn't answered everything that I've wished for and hoped for and believed for. Will he and they see our obedience? Will they understand and come into an agreement? They're going to see my commitment to the house of God. When adversity comes knocking at your door, uh when the doctor has given you a report you didn't want to hear, can I say it like I feel it this morning.

Uh your family may be under attack. Your finances may be stretched. when our spirit is weary on this Sunday morning and when yes our circumstances look like anything but what we've been praying for. Your faith is something that we claim to possess. But genuine faith eventually produces something somebody can see. You can't. I'm preaching this morning to somebody who has believed God in private long enough. I'm not saying some of your things you've been praying for, you don't keep between you and God.

But there's something that gets a hold of a child of God that things that you prayed for, things that you've been believing for, you've prayed in private, you've wept in private, you've carried burdens today that nobody knows about. Amen. But what I felt in the spirit, you fought battles that nobody can see. But there comes a moment when faith, there comes a moment when the faith God has been developing on the inside must begin to express itself on the outside.

I stand emphatically this morning behind this sacred desk and tell you that you've been silent long enough. Your faith has been hid long enough. Long enough. I wish today in this Sunday morning worship service uh that somebody would pray like they believe God can answer your prayer right here and right now. I wish in this worship service somebody would stand to your feet and say, "I still believe God. I still stand on his word." It's time for somebody to step out of your comfort zone and say, "I refuse to die sitting on the pro.

I will obey the voice of my God. I will stand on the promises I've been hiding long enough. [applause and cheering] My faith has been hid long enough. My faith has been hid long. It's time for somebody to quit quit allowing fear to dictate your response. That's right. It's time to quit letting embarrassment dictate your response. It's time for criticism to take a back row and not a front row in the seat of your life.

When did we start letting opinions of others dictate our faith and call it to remain concealed or hidden? A faith that is alive on the inside. Ought to be visible on the outside. Amen. Can I say that again? It's been hid too long. A faith that is alive on the inside ought to be visible on the outside. When has the mountain that you face, when is the last time that mountain has heard your voice? When is the last time you stood at the brink of the river?

And you stood at the brink of possibility, but we've stood with our mouth closed, with our faith just just waning in fear dictating how we will respond. Oh, what I felt this morning in prayer, your faith must become greater than your fear. That's right. I said your faith must become greater than your fear. One of the greatest enemies of visible faith is fear of what others may say, what others may think. We're sometimes concerned more about how we look to other people than how we respond to God.

Amen. We don't want to look too emotional until your favorite team does something you like. Until you get that promotion you've been praying for. Until God turns it around and But what will you do until God turns it around? What will you do to the to the skies part and you can see the sun again? Uh we may look too emotional. We may look too committed. We may look a little different. Uh we may not sound like everybody else.

But you don't know like I know what God's getting ready to do. When I begin to quit letting the examining of others dictate to me how I respond. I may look crazy dancing. I may look crazy worshiping. But I can promise you one thing. I'm determined more now than ever to get a miracle from God. I'm determined more now to see my prayers answered when you get everybody else out of your mouth. When you quit worrying about what others are going to say, you got to get a just that old bulldog tenacity, as I say it.

I don't care what others say. I don't care what others think. I don't care what how I was raised or what happened in my life. I don't care what happened before I got to church. What's got to get a hold of you? I'm not concerned about maintaining my image, but I'm concerned about something changing in my life. I'm tired of living the same way I've always lived. I'm tired of getting the same results that I've always got.

I've got scripture for you today. Mark chapter 5 tells us of a woman who suffered with an issue of blood for 12 years. 12 years of suffering, 12 years of searching, doctor's offices, doctor's reports, spending money. I'm sure she did not have 12 years of disappointment, 12 years of hoping and wishing and praying. But Mark 5 26 says she had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all she had and had not improved.

The Bible said she grew worse. Walk with me if you will through the streets of Jerusalem. Walk with me through the streets of where this miracle would take place. Can you imagine the discouragement of trying everything you know to try and still finding yourself in the same condition? Hearing those voices in the middle of the night. This is the way it's always going to be. It's been that way for the first year, the second year, the third year, the sixth year, the eighth year, the 10th year.

We're on year 12. It just seems like this is just my lot in life. Have we ever said that? I guess this is the way things will always be. She had she had just exhausted her resources. But God, you can exalt your resources, but you cannot like she had not exhausted her faith. when she heard Jesus was passing through. Uh when she heard that Jesus was coming down that dusty road, uh she came in the press and behind she just touched his garment.

But I want you to notice the progression. She heard of Jesus. She came to where he was. But something on the inside of her said, "My faith has been hidden long enough. I'm going to show the naysayers that I've got faith today, but it's going to be seen by everybody around me. It's going to be seen by those who may not need a miracle and those that need a miracle. I I I just I've got to preach it how I feel it." Her faith did not stop by hearing about Jesus.

Her faith did not stop when she knew he was coming. But let me tell you what visible faith will do. It'll draw you to him. That's why some of you are here today. That God drew you into this house. God drew you by his presence to where he would be on this Sunday morning. Not that he's not everywhere else all at the same time, but she could have stayed at home and you could have stayed at home. She could have accepted that this was simply going to be the way it was always going to be.

She could have let those ideas and those thoughts live rentree in her head. But something 12 years in the making begin to take fruit in her life, begin to be culminated. And something happened. Brother David, brother Phillip, something happened when she heard Jesus was coming. She began to believe that her next encounter could be different than the last doctor's appointment, Brother Weaver, that she went to. She started believing this could be the day.

This could be the moment. This is what I've been believing for. This is what I believe there was some internal dialogue because verse 28 says of Mark chapter 5 that she said within herself. She had that internal dialogue. She had that private faith and that private conversation. But it was written for all of us to read today. She said, "If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole." That little stricken woman, 12 years with this issue.

She had a conviction on the inside of her that eventually became visible by action on the outside. Her faith was no longer going to remain private, a private thought, a private idea, but it was going to become a public pursuit. I wish today in this house that somebody could get a hold of the spirit that I'm trying to cultivate in inside of us. Uh, she understood the significance of her situation. She understood the ceremonial regulations associated with her condition.

She understood the social stigma and the religious obstacles. But the crowd itself presented another barrier than what her mind was presenting to her. But yet in the midst of it all, she got something stirred up on the inside of her that if I I may not touch his hands, I may not get his attention, but if I can just get the the very hem of his garment, if I can just touch the clothes that he's wearing, I just believe a miracle can come unto me today.

What I love about this little lady, and I preach from many times, she didn't allow the crowd to become greater than her conviction. She did not allow her condition to dampen her expectation. We cannot hear me in the Holy Ghost today. You cannot let your condition, no matter how it feels, how it seems, uh what's written in papers, uh only dictate to you how you will respond. You've got to rise in faith to say, "I've got a faith and my expectation is greater than what I seek." It may have been 12 years of disappointment, but it could not silence what she believed God could do.

I just want to ask this congregation, do you still do you still believe he's a miracle worker? Do you still believe he's a way maker? Do you still believe cancer is still a defeated? We might as well just go on and have a little church this morning. Let me tell you what she did. Let me tell you what that little lady did. She lost everything that was in her way. It was like it was not standing there. And when she touched Jesus, she was healed.

Amen. I wonder what would happen in a few moments if we just forgot who was sitting around us, who was sitting near us, what anybody would think or say. and just say, "I'm tired of sitting with my faith hid behind my circumstances." There are people who do know your past. Uh there are people that know you have failed. There are people that know your history. Uh but I rise to tell you that your faith in demonstration is bigger than what your past may scream to you right now.

your faith in Jesus. Uh it's what's going to produce a new creation in you, not your past, not where you've been, not what you've done. [applause and cheering] You got to get this faith activated. It's been hid long enough. God's ready to see, are you willing? Are you ready to p push past the elements? push past the mind games the circumstances play inside of you. I know you prayed before and the answer didn't come as you expected.

You've reached, you've been disappointed. You prayed and it's like, God, you you've trusted only to be let down. And I I understand you believe God for a breakthrough. And it seems like I'm struggling harder now. I've tried to be faithful. I've tried to be committed. I'm serving God with my time, talent, and treasure. And what's happened? And the enemy is winning in your mind, winning in your body, winning in your circumstances.

You've just resided. I'm going to live with hidden faith. I'm just going to live with my hidden faith. But God didn't fill you with his spirit. God didn't deposit in you his everlasting eternal life living on the inside of you the baptism of his spirit for you to live with hidden faith. I've got to I've come with a word for you to loose you in the Holy Ghost. Uh you need to lose that hesitancy. Uh you need to reach one more time.

Uh you need to pray with expectancy this Sunday morning. And you need to rebuke that disappointment uh that's been speaking the lie. That disappointment doesn't have to have the final say. Uh you don't have to have a permanent disposition because of your disappointment. I know you prayed and it didn't answer the first time. I know I know you prayed and God, what are you doing? That doesn't mean it should stop you from pursuing God.

Your mind may be crowded. Your mind may be weary. Your mind may be just God, what do I do? What do I say? Your mind may be crowded on this dreary Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean you can't reach one more time. The fact you have suffered a long time doesn't mean you've suffered too long for God to work. Hebrewsap 11:6 declares that without faith, it is impossible to please God. It's impossible. I've come to resurrect weak faith today.

I've come to I've come to resurrect wounded faith today. To I know it may seem one way. Those who come to him must first believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him. When I look at that word diligently, it's faith that can be seen. Diligently. I don't care what anybody says. I don't care what the circumstances say. And I know I'm being repetitive, but I want it to get in your spirit.

Faith keeps seeking when it's diligent. Faith keeps praying when it's diligent. Faith keeps believing when you hold on with everything in you and you keep worshiping when it doesn't make sense. Faith does not require us to dictate to God how we think he should answer. It does not guarantee a specific outcome. But faith refuses to let disappointment become an excuse to abandon the God that I trust. I cannot abandon the God that has brought me through too many times.

I trust him in all things. He does all things well. Your faith has been here long enough. And God sent me to this pull pit to tell you if you could just let your faith be seen. Your circumstances are about to turn around. Let your faith be seen in the words that you speak. Let your faith be seen in your prayer life. Let your faith be seen in your worship. Let your faith be seen by your willingness to come to an altar and lay it at his feet.

Let your faith be seen today in your determination. And I will live righteously. I will live holy in an unholy culture, in an unholy world. Let the faith that I'm preaching about seen be seen in your commitment to the word of God. Get in this word. Know this word. Commit it to memory. World doesn't need another church building that just talks about faith. It needs members walking their relationship with God visibly everywhere.

they go. Nothing is too impossible for my God. Nothing is beyond the scope of God's grace. I pray today, God, let us become a church that truly lives by faith. Lives. How? How does that happen? Faith must become louder than our voices. Yes, our words dictate many times and puts our faith on display by the words that we speak. But when I read in Mark chapter 10, when I read a biblical character that that stands out in the stories and the miracles of Jesus Christ, he he's known, we call him blind Barnameus.

Why not heal Barnameus? Why not whole Bararddameus? He was blind. He sat by the highway bed. But Jesus came passing through. Jesus came walking through. And and here is what I love about Barnameus. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, "Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me." He could not see Jesus, but all he knew and all that he had heard, Jesus is passing by. He could not see the face of the one who was about to step into his world.

He could not recognize the beauty of God wrapped in flesh walking among men who would touch him and forever changed his life. But let me tell you what Baremus did have an understanding and a comprehension of. There was an opportunity coming in front of me that I may never get again. There was something that was coming down that pathway that it may never happen again. And so what he did was all he knew to do. He couldn't see, but he still had a voice.

Uh he had he couldn't see, but he understood. I've got something inside of me that I can't hide anymore. I can't let my faith. I know I can't see him. I know I don't know exactly when he's going to get here, but if I can cry and not let the crowd influence me. Something just may happen today. When I looked at the story, he refused. He refused to let his blindness silence his conviction that something can happen today.

When I look at Barardemus, he couldn't see physically, but he had enough spiritual perception to recognize that Jesus is my going to be my only opportunity. I'm blind. I've been blind since birth. I don't care what the naysayers say. I don't care what the others may say. They're not blind. Ain't it isn't it funny to you how how somebody can give you the advice they think you need and they're not the one suffering. They're not the one blind.

They're not the one hurting. They're not the one going through the valley. But the crowd could see Jesus. But some of them could not even recognize seeing the desperation of a man who needed him. When Bararddmus began to cry out, verse 48 says, "As many charged him that he should hold it, just hold your peace, Bart. You embarrassing us. You You You better not. You're getting out of character here." I wish the pen I I wish to write I wish Mark would would just add a little more fleshly dialogue there.

I wish Mark, brother John, would have said, "Would y'all shut up? Would y'all be quiet? Y'all can see, but I can't. Y'all got eyesight and I don't, but I heard a man from Galilee could still heal the blind. I heard there was a man coming that could heal me from my I've been blind since birth. You got eyes. I don't have eyesh. You can see, but I can't. I wish today that that determination would get up in us. that yes, you may have something somebody else may not have and they can't comprehend why you're here, but they don't understand.

This may be my only moment to get what I need. This may be my moment that I get my healing. This may be my moment that I get my restoration. This may be the moment that God redeems me for his purpose. This may be the moment that he says, "Grace, grace unto me." This may be the moment that an anointing of the eyes and you're healed. I don't know what you walked in here with. I don't know the circumstance. I don't. But you can't let somebody else's opinion silent your voice.

There comes a moment in time where you cannot let others relegate and dictate to you how you respond. You know your desperation. You know what God can only do for you, but it's up to you. I can't put voice in your mouth. I can't put determinate. I can't let my faith become visible in your life. But what if you let your faith become visible? What if you let your faith go from being hid to being seen with an open heart and a dependence on him?

Be quiet. You don't know. I'm so glad Barnameus didn't let the opinion of others outweigh the opportunity that was present. Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me. Huh? What I love about Jesus, he understood the call, a sincere call in a plea for a miracle. I want you to get this this morning. Musicians, come. The crowd was moving, but the voice of one blind man got Jesus to stop. Jesus was on a mission. Jesus was going somewhere.

But one voice stopped the crowd. It stopped him in his tracks. It stopped him where he was. It stopped him because one person allowed their faith to become visible. It allowed him to go from the from the mundane, the average, the norm, the look down upon, the one who didn't have and depended on everybody. Here, leave me. Take me over here. Take me over here. Do this for me. He was dependent on everybody. But on that day, he became dependent on Jesus.

on that moment he be he didn't become he didn't become dependent on the crowd he said if I'm going to get it it's going to be because my faith becomes something that is seen I just wonder and I don't have I I we don't have this insight I just wonder what the crowd did say when they told help. Jesus is calling for you. Jesus is coming for you. I just wonder really what the crowd thought. I can tell you what Baremus did.

It's faith that can be seen. He threw his garment down. I'll read it to you. Verse 50 in Mark chapter 10. When I read I read this and something just came all on me when I began to read because it's faith that can be seen. Mark chapter 10 verse 50. And Jesus answered and said unto him, back up to verse 50. And he casting away his garment rose and came to Jesus. Wow. Barameus knew that the garment that he wore was a symbol of who he had been his whole life.

The garment became how the public, how the crowd would identify him. He had a blind man's garment on. He had a blind He had those things that would identify him as a blind man. But the Bible says he cast away that garment, that identity that he was once known by and once known for. And he came to the voice kept calling him. I'm over here, Barnameus. I know. I hear you. I'm coming. I just got to get I I I I got to let loose of some things.

I got to leave some things behind because I won't need what I've been carrying. I I won't need the the garment that I wore to where I sat today. And I won't I won't need how I've been identified by by others. For Jesus would give him the word. And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? And the blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, "Go thy way.

Thy faith has made thee whole." And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus in the way. Wow. Yeah. Jesus asked him what he wanted and his faith got on display. His faith became seen by men. It became seen by those around him. Lord, I need healing. Lord, I need to see. And Jesus told him because you let your faith be seen because you vocalized what you needed. I'm going to make you whole. The Bible says Barnameus received his sight and followed Jesus in the way.

What that speaks to me on this Sunday. Jesus will never leave you the way he finds you. But you determine the way you go after the miracle happens. Will you follow him? Will you become a disciple of him? Will you tell others about him? Will you become an ambassador of what Jesus has done in your life? Maybe today you're sitting on the side of the road spiritually. Maybe you're sitting and you're spiritually blind and you have never come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

You have never understood that he robed himself in flesh. He became what we did not have to become. He became the perfect sacrifice. He became the lamb slain before the foundation of the world. He became the supreme sacrifice. He took the cruel punishment. He took the cruel beating. He went up that hill called Galatha. And he was hung high. He spread those arms and he looked. He went all the way back to creation. And he marched his way, I believe, all the way through the dispensations of time.

And when he took and right as he took his final breath, he became the sacrifice that would fulfill the laws and the prophets. He would become the sacrifice, the blood sacrifice, that lamb of God that would take away the sins of the world. He became that for you and I. And he simply ask us, will you let your faith become visible? Will you let your faith come out of hiding and believe in what I have done for you? Will you believe that I did die for you?

That all of your sins can be forgiven. And when you repent, the Bible says he is just to forgive. You first have got to come to God believing that he is. But the moment you believe that he is and that he did die and that he did rise again on the third day, that he has ascended and he is coming back, you will repent of your sins. If repentance has been something you've struggled with, I've come today to declare unto you, you can repent and he will forgive.

You can say, "I'm sorry," and he will forgive you. When you repent of your sins, there is no sin that can. And let me say it like this. There's no sin bigger than the blood of Christ. Well, you don't know what I've done, pastor. You don't know. When you come out of hiding and let your faith become visible, there is no sin that the go that the blood of God cannot cover. The greatest thing that you'll embrace, Brother Chris, we talked about this this morning.

It's not if he forgives us, it's if we can forgive ourselves. We walk in guilt and we walk in condemnation. And that was not the design of Calvary. We There is therefore now no condemnation for those of us that live in Christ. There is no more condemnation when you say, "God, I'm sorry." When you say, "God, forgive me." When you say, "God, I'm turning the path of my life around and I am going to walk a man or a woman of conviction and allowing my faith to be on display, not here any longer." He says, "I tell I I tell you what I will do.

I will forgive you and I will use you and I will make that that you are embarrassed of and that that you're not proud of. I will allow that to become your greatest weapon. Your testimony against the forces of darkness. Those thoughts, those ideas, those those it will become a testimony of my grace. When you repent, the Bible says, "Angels rejoice." They're celebrating in heaven when you begin to repent. In Acts chapter 2 and verse 38, he says, "If you'll repent, that's death.

If you'll be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, all of those sins that he's forgiven, that water washes. It's a type and shadow of the blood. It's washing. It's the remission of sins in the only saving name of Jesus. And he gives us a promise. When you come out of that water, ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. This promise is unto you and to your children and to all that are a far off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Acts 2:38-39. If you sit today and you've never repented and you've never been baptized in Jesus name, you've never received the gift of the Holy Ghost, I know the voices in your head are trying to tell you, you don't have to do that. You don't need that's the very thing you need to let faith become visible. I'll obey. I'll reach. I'll obey. I'll become I will obey the word. I will become a new creature in Christ. Jesus would look he would look at a man one night.

He would come to him at night and he would look at this man, Nicodemus, ruler of the Jews, teacher come. He he he got the revelation that same Jesus by night and said unto him, "Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God, for no man can do the miracles that thou doest except God be with him." And Jesus answered, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Nicodemus saying, trying to rationalize the natural, how can a man be born when he is old?

Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born? Jesus said, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God." God desires today for you to come in agreement with his word and let your faith become visible. Let your obedience tell yourself. I know it's it's saying your flesh is saying you're not worthy, but worthy is the lamb. I know you feel like you can't, but the the blood still speaking today.

Yes, you can. My sacrifice that I did on Calvary is still speaking today. Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. You're going to find out it's different than you thought. You're going to come in relationship with me. You're going to come and to know my precepts and my ways. And I will become your father. I will become who I said I would to you. My question for you this morning, my question to th those of you that may be watching online, will you step out from where you are?

Will you stand to your feet as a body right now? And will you say, "Yes, I I will make my stand. I will make my move. I will make my I will thrust my way beyond what I permanent. What what I see is permanent. What I see is irreversible. What I see is something that only God can fix. Oh God, would you let what Paul told the church in Rome? I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth.

Paul was not ashamed. We cannot be ashamed. Paul was not he he didn't allow his faith to continue to be hid. He watched Stephen be stoned. He watched Stephen die a martyr's death. And something happened in the life of Paul. Something happened in the life of that man. He could never forget it. He could never escape it. I watched a just man die so that I might live. I watched a man who believed his convictions. Therefore, I cannot die and live by allowing my faith to be hidden.

Paul could have lived with just a concept of faith and belief from what he saw. But he could not wrestle and argue away the testimony that God put in him as he rode on that Damascus road. God would give the greatest revelation and to the man who would write twothirds of the New Testament. He would write letters back to churches instructing them, admonishing them. And I'm if I could write this letter to the sanctuary, I would say this today.

You cannot hide. You cannot hide what somebody else needs to hear. You can't stay hidden because God's bringing you into a realm of influence. Sister Denise, you blessed me this week with your Facebook post. I want you to know that. I read it and in my private prayer, I was moved. I know that was tough, the transparency, but I'm telling you, the world needs a transparent church that can recognize our faith. must be put on display and not hid.

Our faith must be visible that yes, we may walk, come on, Jacob, with a limp. We may walk with the visible evidence of what we've been through, but we'll go down with a voice of triumph. We'll go into the rapture declaring the goodness of our God. We cannot let this culture convince us to try to fit in and we lose our courage of standing and letting our faith be seen of men. The whole point of of of our faith being seen is so that our father which is in heaven can be glorified.

It's not of us. It's not about us. We're not here to offend anybody. But I'm here to tell you today, I'm here to point you to Jesus. We're not here to belittle your relationship with God, your relationship with the faith, and what you have learned and what you know about scripture. But today, God's bringing it you into an agreement with what his word, his plan, truth spoken with love. God, today I pray that this church would become a church on display.

A church out of height, a bride out of the closet, a church victorious living in this present world, revealing to a lost and a dying world, he still loves. He still saves. He still redeems. Would you right now lift up your hands? Would you right now lift up your hearts? That's it. Maybe you need to come to this altar. Maybe you need to come and kneel. Maybe you need to say yes. Maybe you need to say yes to an invitation of drawing closer.

Maybe you're a believer, but you've not yet received the gift of the Holy Ghost. Maybe you're you haven't come into agreement of this born again. Acts 2:38 spirit in feeling. Maybe you've never been filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues like they did in the book of Acts. This church is moving forward. It's moving beyond the first century. It's still being poured out. It's still being poured out.

It's the witness of Christ in the earth today. It's the witness in the church. Lift up your hands as they begin to sing. You said you said I believe you said Heat. Heat. Heat. I believe you need this blood to cover today. Step out of your seat and pray. Come to this front. We got people ready to praise you. Come to this front. Someone's going to somebody side by side. Heat. Heat. with my faith. What do you need God to do for you?

What do you need God to speak? What do you need God to intervene?
