Summary
Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.
Opening: honor, fresh oil, and the text from Colossians 4
- He opens in worship — if God has not made a way or been good to you, stay silent; don't move your feet — and says it feels like Pentecost. He honors the prophet who preached the night before, whose message cut him open and put his heart back, and waking that morning to his wife thundering in prayer in the living room, feeling the fresh oil come over all over again.
- He honors the Holmes family — Bishop Holmes, Pastor Holmes, and the anointing resting on Benson Holmes — his own pastor, Benjamin White, and three intercessors who call out his and his family's names every day: Brother Dave Brown from Zanesville, Ohio, Sister Lydia Varnum from Belleview, Florida, and Elder Seth Pomemeoy (caption form; see packet.md) from Little Rock.
- His family, "the home team," is with him off a nine-week stint of revival — Virginia to Maryland to New York to Maine to Mississippi to Florida, then here — and he warns the house there will be no build tonight: when he tells them to be seated, he starts preaching straight into it.
- His text is Colossians chapter 4, verse 2, read through verse 5: continue in prayer and watch in the same with thanksgiving, praying that God would open a door of utterance to speak the mystery of Christ, making it plain as he ought to speak, walking in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Then he announces his subject: "I'm going to talk to you for the next little bit about the ABCs of a soul winner."
Scriptures: Colossians 4:2
A–C: Awareness of the lost, a burden that steers, and competing with hell
- A — a true soul winner has an awareness for the lost. Many apostolics go to the grocery store, the coffee shop, and the mall all day and never see the soul; a soul winner cannot help but see those who are lost. On every plane ride, as the plane descends beneath the clouds, he cannot get his eyes off the cars and houses, knowing there is a lost soul behind every window.
- He anchors it in Matthew 9:36: when Jesus saw the multitudes he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted and were scattered abroad as sheep having no shepherd. "Many want to be his hands. Many want to be his feet, but we got to have his eyes."
- B — a soul winner is burden driven. Money drives some, status others, fame others; a true soul winner is driven by a burden for the lost more than anything else. Feeling a burden and being driven by a burden are two different things — the burden felt in the house has not changed our plans yet — but the missionaries on the platform did not move their families across the world for an extended vacation; they went because they could not shake the burden. He quotes Paul in 1 Corinthians 9:22 — to the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak; I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some — and presses the gaps in the schedule where the Bible studies are not.
- C — a soul winner competes with hell and nobody else. He will compete with no other evangelist, and prays every apostolic evangelist and every true apostolic church has the greatest revival it has ever seen, because we were born into the same kingdom. But preachers are focused on out-preaching the other preacher, singers on out-singing, musicians on out-playing, more focused on competing with one another than on competing with hell for a lost soul near them. "Who's preaching that meeting? Who cares?" He was coming to this meeting long before he was ever asked to preach it.
Scriptures: Matthew 9:36; 1 Corinthians 9:22
D–F: A door of utterance, anointed conversations, and filling pews
- D — a soul winner is after a door of utterance. He reads Colossians 4:2 again and puts it in English: Paul is saying, "I don't know how I'm going to get through to these people." This is not about classrooms; it is about a sword and armor, getting out in the field and pulling somebody out of a place that burns. Paul was not worried about his next door of preaching opportunity or his next invitation on a flyer, but about a door to talk to a sinner — "Hey church, don't fight me. Pray for me." Many pray for open doors of blessing, promotion, and influence; a soul winner prays for an open door to present the gospel to a soul that has not yet seen it.
- E — a soul winner engages in conversations with the lost. The majority of Jesus's ministry was done through conversations, not sermons: a conversation with the woman caught in adultery, with a man whose boy was possessed and thrown into the water and the fire, with a man possessed with a legion of demons, and each of the twelve was called through an anointed conversation. A soul winner sends the text, makes the call, walks across the restaurant. The woman at the well in John 4 was changed by one conversation and turned the city of Samaria upside down; somewhere there is a barista at Starbucks waiting on you.
- F — a soul winner is focused on filling pews, not pulpits. He has watched people who trembled under the power of God when they were called to ministry struggle with frustration because their primary desire was to stand behind the pulpit and preach; but there are more pews than pulpits. "I've won more souls than I have preached camp meetings." Every singer and every preacher should be a pew filler: "I'm not going to bring my sermon notes to glory with me. But I can bring a soul."
Scriptures: Colossians 4:2; John 4
G: The giver — honey buns, $2 bills, and turkey dinners
- G — a soul winner is a giver. A soul winner will help finance revival in their home church: they return their tithe, pay their offerings, and give in sacrificial offerings for projects — he has given sacrificially in years he barely attended his home church. But Calvary teaches that soul-winning is extremely expensive: John 3:16, for God so loved the world that he gave — God became a man, gave his back, his brow, and his blood. "But will you give your Saturday?" Jacob McMorris (his own corrected form; see packet.md) will shut 300 doors every Saturday.
- His hero is Billy Huey (captioned also Huie; see packet.md), probably the greatest soul winner he has ever known: 73 years old, half his body not working after a stroke, still carrying a contagious burden. Preaching for Pastor Bill Parky in Memphis, he was taken to Huey's home in Missouri and asked for his hands to be laid on him: "I can't do outreach no more. All I can do is pray." On visitation Huey always carried honey buns; a man under a bridge who chewed him away took a honey bun, and before long stumbled into the church, was baptized in Jesus' name, and was filled with the Holy Ghost. In another revival, at a church that had not had a visitor in so long it could not remember the last one, Huey passed out a wad of $2 bills across the city; Sunday brought 10 visitors, people baptized in Jesus' name and receiving the Holy Ghost — and the pastor himself went to the bank for more $2 bills.
- It takes so little to be above average. At his home church his pastor had a God idea near Thanksgiving: give 50 turkey dinners away, register every person who came through, and ask each for a prayer request — people waiting on turkeys were receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost. "What have you done for your city lately?"
Scriptures: John 3:16
I–K: The intercessor, the joy of the Lord, and kindness
- I — a soul winner is an intercessor. "If you don't pray, you ain't going to win no souls." Soul winners pull for souls in prayer and pull for souls in action, radical in the field and radical in the prayer room, because what nobody sees is more important than what everybody is seeing. (The letter H is never assigned — he moves straight from G to I; see packet.md.)
- J — a soul winner both has and displays the joy of the Lord. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can have on outreach is a big old smile on your face: "God, give me a joy that's so great, I can't quit smiling."
- K — a soul winner is kind. Kindness is the fifth fruit of the spirit, and in a world hurting this badly, being kind to someone is sadly above average. He tells on his own family walking in and out of restaurants with four kids: "Ezra and Abby, they listen. But them other two, we chasing. We running," his wife trying to keep a smile while dying inside — and people say, "Oh, y'all have the sweetest family."
- The kindness story is the waitress at Casa Olay in his hometown, who has driven almost an hour to work for 12 years. The burden settled on both him and his wife Cindy at the table; they kept going back through Christmas week, left her a crazy tip that brought her out crying and hugging them, promised her the best fajitas she ever ate and a Bible study, and in New York City he had Cindy pick out the nicest Empire State Building keychain they could find — she collects keychains — still to be delivered the next week home. "She stayed at that job for 12 years. To meet me."
L–N: Led by the Spirit, misunderstood, and noticing the neighbors
- L — a soul winner is led by the spirit. They don't just knock every door; they are led as they knock doors — his picture is a "Holy Ghost radar" going down the Walmart aisle: "Do it. Do it. Nope. Not open." And when he is praying and somebody comes to his mind, that means they are on God's mind: pick up the phone, invite them to dinner, go by their house.
- M — a soul winner is misunderstood and okay with it. All his close friends are soul winners because he does not fit in in every crowd; a soul winner is not a good soul winner because every person he talks to gets converted, but because he keeps trying and keeps fishing.
- N — a soul winner notices their neighbors. After a revival that saw 380 some odd people baptized in Jesus name, with cards passed out for five new souls, five backsliders, and five miracles, his wife Cindy could not get her mind off the neighborhood kids next door: she had put them on her prayer list and prayed for them for over a year. The bus ministry went by the house with nothing doing; they kept going by with candy and playing with these kids, until the three children (names redacted in the transcript; see packet.md) were singing in the kids' choir. Their mother Christine came to hear them sing, felt the Holy Ghost with tears running down her face, and was invited to a home-cooked meal and a Bible study for the whole family. "We baptized the whole family in Jesus' name cuz somebody wouldn't stop praying."
O–R: Ownership of the city, partnership with angels, the right questions, and the radar
- O — a soul winner takes ownership of his city. "I'm not waiting on anybody else. I'm not waiting on the evangelist to come to town. I'm going to pick up my Bible and I'm about to start a revival in this city." In Zanesville, Ohio, Kevin Bostonanss (caption form; see packet.md) asked to go to the specific crack house outside of which he had once sat while his wife was inside shooting up, not knowing if she would come out; they walked the roughest parts of Zanesville knocking doors, and a man only two years in church who had never taught a Bible study taught five in the first week and baptized three in Jesus' name.
- P — a soul winner partners with angels. At a revival with Pastor Aaron Bounds — 7:00 a.m. prayer, Brother Dave Brown in the sanctuary every morning at 4:00 crying out to God — he felt a presence come up the middle aisle, almost immobilizing, and Brother Bounds screamed out that the same angel that visited the house of Cornelius had walked in to assist them with what they would soon reap in that city. In 28 days of evangelism, with outreach teams going out twice a day, they saw 48 people baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and pulled a man off the side of a bridge who was about to drive his car into the ravine; they baptized him in the name of Jesus.
- Q — a soul winner asks the right questions. You don't have a Bible study because you won't ask for one. On outreach he asks two questions, the first being: "We're a church that believes in the power of prayer. Do you have a prayer request that we can pray about right now?" Keep your card in your pocket until you have a God moment; then take them by the hand and pray in the Holy Ghost right there.
- R — a soul winner always has someone on their radar. He keeps a list on his phone; he has seen Bishop Holmes pull out his little notepad through a whole revival, writing not carpet repairs but "Soul, soul, soul, soul, soul, soul, soul, soul." He tells the North Little Rock secret: a little back room where the bishop sat with printed lists of every visitor who had ever come to the church and every backslider, calling them before services — "Praise the Lord. This is Evangelist Taylor Fish. We'd love to see you in the house of the Lord." He has started call centers all over America since that revival: the bill collector will call you and the cruise line will call you, but the church won't call you.
S–Z: Submitted, trying, the unseen, and zero hesitation — the closing call
- S — a soul winner is submitted to their pastor. You can't be submitted to your pastor if you don't have one. Going to the Asbury revival, he called his pastor first: if I'm crazy, I won't go; if you'll bless me, I'll go. Moses went back to Jethro. A soul winner working in the field must have a man who covers them and can tell them no, because the devil is going to fight a soul winner harder than he fights anybody else.
- T — a soul winner tries. Peter was the only one who had the story that he stepped out on the water; the only way to get stories is to go for it — evangelist, saint, and pastor alike have to do something they never did before.
- U — a soul winner does the unseen. A true soul winner mostly works in unknown, unseen, uncaptured moments: most of their Saturdays are never captured, and nobody goes live in the middle of a Bible study. God is calling somebody to an unseen ministry that will shake the city.
- V — a soul winner visits those who are in prison: Matthew 25:43, "I was a stranger. You took me not in. Naked, you clothed me not. Sick and in prison, and ye visited me not." Preaching in Madisonville, Kentucky, for Pastor Dustin Lee, he took the pulpit and saw in a vision men in suits in almost every empty seat of a church that was 99% women; he prophesied a revival of strong praying apostolic men. That pastor and another nearby church took to preaching in the jails — the men's unit, people getting the Holy Ghost — and when he went back, the church was full of men: the jail was one mile down the road, and going there had turned the church inside out.
- W — a soul winner walks in wisdom toward them that are without: without the joy that is here, without the peace, without truth, hope, and deliverance. X — a soul winner will make extreme consecrations and commitments to win a soul: "Lord, I won't pick up an Xbox controller till I win a soul. Lord, I won't pick up the golf clubs until I win a soul." That is why the 52-day fasts work — somebody gets focused and gives something up until it happens. "There is a vacancy in Pentecost. We got preachers. We got singers. But where are the soul winners?"
- Y — a soul winner yields to the Holy Ghost. Their family's practice is "party prayer" — P, praise him; A, ask him, give him our petitions; R, repent; T, give him thanks; Y, yield to the Holy Ghost — and some of the greatest moves of God he has had lately have been in hotel rooms and evangelist quarters across the nation. When you yield, you let go of all parameters: "God, I'll go anywhere. I'll do anything. I'll say whatever you want me to say."
- Z — zero hesitation, zero distractions, zero excuses. He has come to preach the "almost" out of somebody: I almost went for it, I almost stepped out, I almost surrendered all. At a turkey-dinner giveaway a man pushing a bike stopped — a man who could have asked for a home, a car, peace of mind, freedom from his addiction — and said instead, "Sir, I'm better than what I've been living," and God filled him with the Holy Ghost right there in the parking lot. The sermon then moves into an extended closing altar prayer — pray until hesitation leaves, until every excuse leaves, until you can see their faces; "God, shake up your people... shake us out of our buildings, shake us out of our comfort, shake us out of our carnality" — and the caption track ends mid-phrase at 1:30:21, about two seconds before the video's end (see packet.md).

Come on. If he's not made a way, stay silent right now. Come on. If he's not being good to you, don't you dare move your feet. Hallelujah. Come on. Grab your neighbor by the hand. Lift it up. Let your voice out into the into the atmosphere. Yay! Woo! How can you not love this? This feels like Pentecost. Hallelujah. So honored to be here tonight. I have been ministered to so greatly by every minister that has preached. each of them that has preached here during this camp meeting has their words, their spirit has touched done something in me. I want to say we heard from the prophet last night, a true prophet of God. And I'm so thankful that he was willing to be himself, not be boxed, and somehow cut me open, took my heart out, did an operation, put it right back in, sew me up again. And I woke up this morning. And I woke up this morning and I heard my wife thundering in prayer in the living room and I began to lift up my hands where I was praying and I could feel that fresh oil come over all over again. Hallelujah. Does anybody want a little bit more tonight? That's true. Lift your hands and say, "God, I'm not done." Several times in his message last night, he'd say he'd say things like, "This thing's about to take off or we're going somewhere. I feel so strongly that God has given me where we are going." And that's what I'm going to preach about tonight. I honor the entire Holmes family. They mean more to me than words can say. And Bishop Holmes, Pastor Holmes, I love them so greatly. And this whole family and I want to just say very specifically that I'm thankful for the anointing that is that has fallen upon brother Benson Holmes. Many times I tune in as you do. I tune in and I can see and feel the anointing that is resting on him. And I'm so thankful for this for this church, for this family. I honor my pastor tonight, Pastor Benjamin White. There are so many people in this room that help us, that pour into us. so many evangelists that I've had the opportunity of partnering with and there are a group of intercessors in this room. Brother Dave Brown from Zanesville, Ohio is here. Sister Lydia Varnum from Belleview, Florida is here. And also Elder Seth Pomemeoy from right here in Little Rock is here. All three of these people call out my name and my family's names every single day and I'll honor them tonight. At some point, if we are going to see all we have been promised, we have got to come together. There's a few of you that believe that here tonight. Hallelujah. I'm so thankful for this church, this meeting, and all it means to the apostolic movement. We will go to Colossians chapter number four.
Colossians chapter number four, starting with verse number two. I honor my family. the home team is with me and we just got off of a long stint, nine weeks of revival. We went from Virginia to Maryland to New York to Maine to Mississippi to Florida and then we came here and they truly are the best part of me. I honor them. I feel tonight many times the or at least the last couple times that I've preached preached a meeting here there was very much a building of what I would preach and then it would lead up to a main point at the end. That's not how it's going to happen here tonight. as a matter of fact, when I tell you to be seated, we're just going to start preaching. There will be no build. We're going to go straight into it. And I really need you with me here tonight if we're going to get where God has us tonight. has us going tonight. The Bible says in Colossians chapter number four verse number two, continue in prayer and watch in the same with thanksgiving with all praying also for us that God would open unto us a door of utterance. Why? to speak the mystery of Christ for which I am also in bonds that I may make it manifest. What's that mean? That I may make it plain as I ought to speak. Walk in wisdom toward them that are without redeeming the time. I'm going to talk to you for the next little bit about the ABCs of a soul winner. The ABCs of a soul winner. Come on, let's lift our voice with a shout. Cry out unto the Lord. I believe the Holy Ghost is going to going to do something in this place. Come on, somebody lift your voice and begin to pray in the Holy Ghost. Come on, let your praise thunder in this house right now. Hallelujah, Jesus. And you may be seated across the room here today. The ABCs of a soul winner. I will begin tonight with the first letter of the alphabet. A true soul winner. Somebody say a a true soul winner has an awareness for the lost. There are many apostolics who have the ability to go to the grocery store. They have the ability to go to the coffee shop. They can go to the mall. They interact with people all day long. But somehow they never see the soul. I want to preach today that a soul winner cannot do that. A soul winner is not just caught up in his own little world full of tasks. But a soul winner is aware of those who are around him and they cannot help but see those that are lost. It happens to me on every single plane ride that I take when that plane starts to descend. and we go beneath the clouds and I see that sky view of the whole city. I am unable to get caught up in the awe or the beauty of the lights, but I can't get my eyes off of the cars and the houses knowing that there is a lost soul behind that window. Oh God, if you have ever heard me preach for any length of time, you probably heard me reference this verse and I must do it again tonight. Speaking of Jesus, the book of Matthew tells us in Matthew 9 and 36, but when he saw the multitudes, when he saw them, he was moved with compassion on them because they fainted and were scattered abroad as sheep having no shepherd. If I am going to be an effective soul winner, the first thing that I must do is I must see what Jesus sees.
I've got to see that they fainted. I've got to see that they're scattered. I've got to see it. I've got to see what Jesus sees. I'm preaching to somebody right now. Many want to be his hands. Many want to be his feet, but we got to have his eyes. Somebody lift your hands and say, "God, give me your eyes. I'm thankful for every vision, for every new building. I'm thankful for every vision, for every new meeting. I'm thankful for every vision for every new ministry. But hear me tonight. God is wanting to put a lost soul back in your vision tonight. God is asking, "Can you see them? Can you see them?" Come on. I know you're seeing a lot, but can you see them? Be a soul winner is burden driven. There are plenty of things that can drive you. Some people are driven by money as they focus on how big of a business or bank account that they can build. Some people are driven by status as they attempt to own the nicest house, the fastest car, or the flyest suit. Some people are driven by fame or being known as they try to network just right and build their following. Hear me. But you must know this. A true soul winner is not driven by these kind of things. A soul winner is driven by a burden for the lost more than he is anything else. A soul winner will go to great lengths to reach that soul. Many of us, we know what it's like to feel a burden. Oh, we felt a burden walk up in this house several times during this camp meeting. Many of us, we know what it's like to feel a burden for the lost. Well, let me tell you, feeling a burden for the lost and being driven by a burden for the lost is two completely different things. We felt burden step in here, but it hasn't changed our plans yet. Come on. You felt a burden. Oh, come on. You felt a burden, but it has not changed your plans yet. When you allow yourself to be driven by a burden and nothing else, burden takes the will of your life. And that burden begins to steer you. Come on. It steers men and it steers churches. It steers pastors and it causes them to say, "We're going to change things up this year. We're going to do what we ain't never done before." I'm preaching to somebody in this place. oh, we have missionaries on this platform and all around this place here tonight. And I honor all of them. But hear me, it's important for us to understand that these men did not move their families across the world because they wanted an extended vacation. Oh God. But I preach this here tonight. They went because they could not shake the burden. They went because a burden grabbed a hold of the steering wheel of their life. Come on. Let me tell you, burden will change you. Come on. Burden will change your ministry. Burden will make burden will make you go to another level. Burden will make you do things that nobody else would do. Oh, I'm preaching to somebody right now. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 9 and 22 to the weak became I as weak that I might gain the weak. I am made all things to all men that I might by all means save some. Paul was saying, "I don't care what I have to do.
I don't care what I got to lay down. I don't care what I got to change. I just got to find somebody. I just got to save somebody. I don't care. I don't care what mission field I got to go to. I don't care if I have to change my routine. I don't care if I got to look at the gaps in my schedule and see where I'm teaching Bible studies and where I'm not teaching Bible studies. but what I know is I've got one goal and that is that I might by all means save somebody. Lift your hands and pray in this place. God's wanting to do something tonight. Come on, young man. Go with me tonight. Come on, pastor. Go with me tonight. Come on, young lady. Go with me tonight. God's wanting to do something in this house. See, a soul winner competes with hell. and nobody else. A soul winner competes with hell and nobody else. I want to be very clear tonight when I say this. I will compete with no other evangelist. I'm not against any other evangelist. I pray that every evangelist, every apostolic evangelist on the planet has the greatest revival and harvest that they've ever seen. But I pray that every true apostolic church in every organization on every side of every small town and big city has the greatest revival that they've ever seen before. Why? Because we were born into the same kingdom. God placed us on the same team. My brother is my ally. My brother is not my enemy. I'm preaching tonight that we have preachers that are focused on out preaching the other preacher. I could preach that better. Maybe you could, but I don't care. Cuz when the mailman delivers it, he don't even think about it. He just goes to the next one. I'm preaching that we have singers that are focused on out singing the other singer. Musicians focused on outplaying the other musician. Many in the church are more focused on competing one with another than they are competing with hell for a lost soul near them. Well, who's preaching that meeting? I don't know if I'm going or not. Who Who's preaching that meeting? Who cares? Who cares? Why don't you come out of isolation and join the body of Christ and see what God will do? Who's singing? I don't care if I'm telling you, I was coming to this meeting long before I ever got asked to preach this meeting. Why? Cuz I was better. I was better when I joined God. Say, I've got to tell you, we worry about who's singing, who's leading worship, who's MD. But a soul winner don't worry about all that. A soul winner don't worry about who's doing what. They just join the party and want to bring somebody with them. A soul winner is worried about another meeting that every soul in their city is going to have and that is a meeting at the judgment seat of Christ. Oh God, every soul in my city, every soul in my city is going to have a meeting. Every soul in my city is going to have a meeting. What am I going to do about it? D. A soul winner is after a door of utterance. Hey, I know this is a little bit different style, but this is what God's given me for tonight.
A soul winner is after a door of utterance. Paul wrote in Colossians 4:2, "Continue in prayer and watch in the same with thanksgiving with all praying also for us that God would open unto us a door of utterance to speak the mystery of Christ." Let me put that in English for you. Paul said, "I don't know how I'm going to get through to these people." Paul said, "I don't know how." Paul's saying, "I know I'm educated, but this is this is soul business here. This is not this is not about classrooms. Come on. This isn't about classrooms. this is about a sword and armor and getting out in the field and pulling somebody out of place out of a place that burns." and a lake of fire and the worm dies not I believe God's going to oh I believe God's going to do it in that next church plant I'm preaching right now that Paul said I'm not worried about my next door of opportunity to preach I'm not worried about my next door my next invitation to get on a flyer somewhere but I'm worried God, will you just open up a door so I can talk to a sinner? Can you just open Why? Cuz I've got to I got to speak to them. the mystery Paul said, "I don't know how I'm going to get through. There's so many walls. There's so many barriers. there's so many persuasions. Hey church, don't fight me. Pray for me." Paul Paul said, "I can write letters in prison, but I can't do this by myself. I can survive the shipwreck, but I can't do this by myself. Pray for me, cuz I believe there's going to be a moment where God's going to soften up their heart. Pray for me. cuz I believe there's going to be a moment. Oh, there's going to be a moment where I open up my mouth and I share with him Jesus. I'm preaching that a soul winner, he's after an open door of utterance. Many of us pray for open doors of blessing, promotion, influence. But a soul winner prays for an open door that allows them to present the gospel of Jesus Christ to a soul that has not yet seen it. Somebody lift your hands and say, "God, give me a door. E I've come to preach that a soul winner engages in conversations with the lost. Oh, I got to give you some practical stuff here today cuz some of this ain't up to God. Come on. God's put an anointing on you, but you got to step out and you got to engage. Camp meeting after camp meeting. God, do something with me. God doing something with me. And God's saying, "Come on, engage. Engage. Engage. I'm about to use you through a conversation. I believe in the power of preaching. I come from a church that was built on powerful apostolic preaching and sends preachers and evangelists out. But it's important for us to realize that the majority of Jesus's ministry was done through conversations, not sermons. Jesus had a conversation with a woman who was caught in adultery. Jesus had a conversation with a man whose boy was possessed and had been thrown into the water and into the fire. Jesus had a conversation with a man who was possessed with the legion of demons. And each of his 12 disciples were called to follow him through an anointed conversation. I'm preaching tonight that conversations have the power to create apostolic conversions.
Oh, if I could just preach this one all night. Oh God, he's ready to anoint your conversation. A soul winner sends the text. A soul winner makes the call. A soul winner walks across the restaurant. I know they saw me. They look me off. But no, I'm going after them, baby. I got to go after them. Why? Because a conversation, a conversation is about to change everything. I'm telling you, if we don't quit complicating being used of God, come on. The same anointing that'll make you shout and dance and run the aisles is the same anointing that'll cause you to pick up that phone. Man, I feel crazy up in here right now. A soul winner speaks and the love of God flows. Let us not forget that the woman at the well in John 4 was changed by one conversation. She left that place and turned the city of Samaria upside down. Don't you underestimate the power of getting into somebody's world. Don't you Oh, don't you underestimate the power of speaking life into somebody else. Come on, s soul winner. It's time for you to say something. come on, soul winner. It's time for you to open up your mouth. You prayed and you and you prayed and you prayed and you prayed and now somebody's waiting on you. You prayed and you prayed and you prayed and you went to conference after conference, camp meeting after camp meeting, and there's a barista at Starbucks that's waiting on you. tell you God is ready to anoint everyday conversations. Hear me. If we could get a hold of of this, God wouldn't just move on Sunday. Well, come on. Let's go on Sunday. See what God's going to do. Hey, let me tell you. Sunday should be a celebration of everything that God did Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. The most out of control revivals I've ever been in was when we were baptizing them, Brother Booker, on Monday and we were baptizing them on Wednesday. Come on, somebody ought to shout. Somebody ought to say, "God, it's my time. It's my time. I'm ready to be anointed. F. A soul winner is focused on filling pews, not pulpits. A soul winner is focused on filling pews, not pulpits. I've got to preach this to somebody right now. I have seen people tremble under the power of God knowing that they were called to ministry in an altar call. I did not doubt them for one minute. But I have watched those same people struggle with a frustration and a lack of fulfillment as their primary desire was to stand behind the pulpit and preach. If you only knew the conversations that I have had with young people or young couples at altars or most of the messages on Facebook that I can't even respond to if you only knew the frustration. But tonight I need to remind everybody that there are more pews than pulpits. Preacher, that's easy for you to say. You're preaching camp meeting today. Hey, let me tell you, I've won more souls than I have preached camp meetings. Does that qualify me? I'm not saying that. But what I'm saying is before I ever got an invitation, I was finding somebody else and giving them one. I'm telling somebody in this house how to change your ministry. You got to make up your I'm getting somebody beside me. Come on. Come on. I've come to preach that a soul winner is a pew filler.
Come on. Thank God for all these singers, but where's the pew fillers tonight? Thank God for all these preachers, but where's the pew fillers tonight? Let's be real. Every singer should be should be a pew filler. Every preacher should be a pew filler. I got to get somebody beside me. Why? Cuz the only thing I can Come on. I'm not going to bring my sermon notes to glory with me. But I can bring a soul. Oh, come on, somebody lift up your voice. I feel something happening in this place. I'm going to fill a pew. I'm going to fill a pew. God's going to do it. Come on, lift your voice and begin to cry out unto the Lord. Gee, a soul winner is a giver. Man, we didn't like that one, man. I didn't I wasn't going to say all this, but I'm going to say it. A soul winner will help finance revival in their home church. They pay their oh let me let me change that. They return their tithe. They pay their offerings and they even give in sacrificial offerings. for projects. Hey, let me tell you, there's been times that I've given not even attended my home church in in a year's time and been given in sacrificially in projects. Why? Because a soul winner is a giver. But outside of our finances, I've got to preach that Calvary teaches us that soul-winning is extremely expensive. John 3:16, for God so loved the world that he gave, God became a man. He gave his back. He gave his brow and he gave his blood. But will you give your Saturday? We are some Branson going machines. But when's the last time you When's the last time you took about three or four hours to knock doors? Jacob Morris, I Jacob McMorris, I love you. I believe in you. He'll shut 300 doors every Saturday. I stand with this man. I stand with the church that he's building. Hey, I got to preach to you right now. There's got to be somebody that gets a hold of a burden. Well, I'm not gifted like that. Hey, let me tell you. Give yourself. Give yourself and see what God will do. Come on, somebody lift up your voice. Come on. He gave his life, but will you give your day off? He's one of the greatest soul winners that I have ever known. Probably the greatest soul winner that I've ever known. Many of you, you probably not heard of him, but his name is Billy Huey. He's a hero to me. He's 73 years old. He's had a stroke, but he still has a burden for souls that is so contagious. I was preaching for Pastor Bill Parky in Memphis, Tennessee, and Brother Parky told me, "Man, we we begin to exchange Billy Huie stories." And Brother Parky said, "You know, Billy Huie brought 100 visitors, one service to our inner city location.
in Memphis during the revival when I was with this was last November with brother Huey or with with brother Parky. Brother Parky said he said Taylor he said I know where Billy Huie lives. He said it's a few hours away in Missouri. If you want to go we'll go. He I went. He took me there. I'm telling you, I felt like I was meeting the greatest superstar of all time, whoever you say that is. But we walked in, he said, he said, "Brother Fish," he had a stroke. Half of his side of his body don't work. He said, "Brother Fish," he said, "I " He said, "I can't do outreach no more." He said, "All I can do is pray. I got down on my knees. I said, "Brother Huie, get your hands on me." Something begin to c come in here. Come in that place. I felt an anointing. Oh, fresh oil come over me. On that moment, he began to exchange stories. He told me he said he said you know he told us of a man that he met under a bridge. He said the man was very uninterested in his invitation to church. Brother who brother Hugh he told us he said I made sure when I was out on visitation that's what he called it. When I was out on visitation that just means he's walking the streets doing street ministry. He said when I was out on visitation, he said I would always bring some honey buns with me. Somebody say honey buns. Anybody like honey buns around here? Everybody like honey buns. He said he said I would always bring honey buns with me. He said I met this man under a bridge. He said I'd try to witness to him. He didn't want to have anything. He he'd chew me away. He said, "But then and then he" He said, "Then he would give me then I would give him a honey bun." And he popped up. He said, "Brother, would you like a honey bun?" "Oh, yes." And it was all it was all eyes and all ears. He said, "This man got a hold of this honey bun. Brother Huie left town and he said it wasn't long on a Sunday that man from under the bridge stumbled into the church." He said, "I" He said, "I met" He said, "I met a man. I don't even know what his name was, but he gave me a honey bun." They baptized him in Jesus' name. He was filled with the Holy Ghost. He said, he said, "I had another revival." He said, "This pastor called me and this pastor said, "We haven't had visitors in so long, we don't even remember when the last time we had a visitor." He said, he said, "I was," he said, "I went to the city." This pastor said, "We ain't had a we ain't had a visitor in so long. Please, let's hold a revival." He went in there and when he did, he said that he said that he be to go out in the street and he went to the store and he got a wad of $2 bills. And he began to pass them out in the city. He passed them out everywhere. He said, "Here comes Sunday, they had 10 visitors on the pew, more people than they had ever had before." And the pastor said, "What in the world did you do? People getting baptized in Jesus name. People receiving to get to the Holy Ghost." He said, "What in the world are you do?" He said, "I didn't want to tell him what I was really doing." He said, "Because I didn't know what he what he thought about that. I didn't know what his persuasion was on giveaways. He said, "But I finally told him." And the revival was going so good that the next day the preacher went to the bank and he got as many $2 bills that he could and he be to go around that city passing them out and it resurrects the preacher. What in the world are you preaching? I'm preaching that it takes so little to be above average. tell you. What are you preaching to? What are you preaching, Brother Taylor?
I'm preaching a soul winner gives away honey buns and $2 bills. Hey, I've got to preach to you right now. It costs money to go fishing. It costs money to go fishing right now. Oh, I wish somebody get them a honey bun ministry right now. Man, y'all think I'm crazy up in here. I'm telling you, there's a burden. Hey, I'm giving somebody a soul-winning package right now. Get in your city. Learn to love your city. Love on your side. Learn to I wish somebody would lift up your hands and say, "God, let it fall on me." Come on. I'm preaching right now that there's somebody in this place, God's going to put an idea in your spirit. Well, we never done that before. I know you ain't. and you ain't never seen what you're about to see. I'm preaching right now that there's somebody in this house. It's time to be above average. It's time to do what we've never done before. Whatever it takes to win a soul. Whatever it takes to win a soul. That's what I'm going to do. Come on, somebody in this place. Come on, somebody that wants that kind of anointing. It takes so little to be above average. We're in revival in Sealsby at my home church. My pastor said, "It's almost Thanksgiving. We're going to give 50 turkey dinners away." He had in his mind, it was a God idea. He said, "We're going to have a line. We're going to register every person that comes through and we're going to ask them for a prayer request. I'm telling you, there were they were waiting on turkeys receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost. I'm preaching about a God idea. I'm preaching about something you never done before. I'm preaching about going to the highways and the byways. Hey, come on. Bigger screen, bigger building. Come on. What have you done for your city lately? I'm preaching to somebody. Come on, preacher. Lift up your hands and say, "God, give me a vision. Give me something new. Give me something new that I've never had before. A soul winner. I a soul winner is an intercessor. Come on. If you don't pray, you ain't going to win no souls. But I'm preaching to some intercessors in this church even. Come on. You've got prayer down. Come on. You can pray in the spirit, but God's ready for you to walk in the spirit now. They pull for souls in prayer and they pull for souls in action. Soul winners are both radical in the field and radical in the prayer room. It's not the will of God for your church to be so dry that when the visitors come in, they can't feel nothing. Wake up, intercessors. We need you more than we've ever needed you. Come on. What nobody sees is more important than what everybody is seeing. Where's the intercessor? Where are you, intercessor? Where's the one that'll get under a burden for prayer and say, "God, I'm going to pray till it changes. I'm going to pray till I'm going to pray till it changes. I'm going to pray till God gives me a God idea. I'm going to pray. Jay, when it comes to a soul winner, a soul winner both has and displays the joy of the Lord. Woo! I got a point that's going to knock your socks off. Turn your frown upside down. Come on. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can have in on outreach is a big old smile on your face. Huh?
Come on. And they know I want what they have. Come on. I know some apostolic when I look at them, I'm scared to death of them. I know they're scared to death of them. Come on. What would happen if you say, "God, give me a joy that's so great, I can't quit smiling. Give me a joy that's so great." Okay, this this this one goes with the last one. A soul winner is kind. Kindness is the fifth fruit of the spirit. And I promise you, you can win more souls with kindness than you think. This world is hurting so bad that being kind to someone sadly is above average. Me and my family walking in and out of restaurants. We got four kids. Ezra and Abby, they listen. But them other two, we chasing. We running. My wife's like trying to keep a smile. Hi everybody. Dying inside. Am I right? And it never fails. People don't even realize it. We're falling apart, man. Trying to keep these kids together. And they say, "Oh, y'all have the sweetest family." Like what you are for real is going to be seen by everybody else. Come on. This ain't for everybody. This is just for those that want to change your town. This ain't for everybody. If you're s if if you're okay having the same 20 people and getting a prophecy every two months and it Oh, God have mercy. I'm telling you, you don't need God to change anything. You've got to change your face. You've got to change your attitude. You got to put us Come on. Show them pearly whites, baby. Listen, there's a waitress in my hometown that me and my wife have a burden for. She's waited on us several times. She's driven almost an hour to work for the last 12 years at Casa Olay. Anybody know about Casa Olay up in here? Yeah. I We love it. It's like the most nostalgic place. I don't even think my pastor goes there, but but there's this waitress. She's she's worked there for 12 years. And I this this past the end of this last year. She walked by and I felt it set on me. I look across the table. My wife is wiping tears from her eyes. And I I'm wiping tears from my eyes and I look at Cindy and my wife says, "Yeah, we've got to reach this lady." The end of last year, it's Christmas time. We begin to frequent Casa Olay even more. And as we went, we kept getting this lady. We begin to connect with her. We found out that she loves keychains. She's driving back and forth a long distance from Woodville, which is a good distance. And as we're talking to her, it's we go there the week of Christmas. Who goes to Casa Olay the week of Christmas? I'm telling you, something said on me. I said, "We got to go visit her again." We'd go over there. We'd sit there. That burden would come on me again. I said, I said, "I'm about to leave her a crazy tip. I'm about to leave her a crazy tip for Christmas." And we left her a crazy tip.
And she came out crying, tears going down her eyes. She's hugging us. Oh, we're loving on her. Oh, we're talking to her. And I tell I said, "Sis, I'll tell you what we want to do." I said, "We got to get together. I'd like to I'd like for I said, "I'd like to make you the I grill you the best fajitas you've ever ate in your life and teach you a Bible study. Come on. This is this is this is something we've been working on for some time. God, we're getting rapport with this lady. We're going to win this lady to God. We were in We were in New York City, Empire State Building, baby. We're looking at all of New York City. It's beautiful. And we walk out, you know, the gift shop where they, man, they they stack it thick in there where they want you to spend a lot of money. And I walk past the keychains. Oh, God. And it gets a hold of me. I said, "Cindy, find her the nicest Empire State Building keychain that you can." Guess what? I ain't g I ain't gave it to her yet. But the end of next week, I'm going to be home and I'm telling you, I'm about to do for her what nobody has ever done. I'm going to bring her a real deal Empire State Building keychain. That don't mean much to you, but I'm telling you how to win a soul tonight. That don't mean much to you, but I'm telling you how to get into this. I'm telling you how to be unforgettable. Come on. What happened? Come on. Somehow she stayed at that job for 12 years. Why'd she stay at that job for 12 years? To meet me. She stayed at that job for 12 years. Every time she wanted to quit, the Holy Ghost said, "No, just a few more days. Just a few." But why? Oh, come on. Cuz some crazy preacher, some crazy preacher. I wish you'd let let this get on you right now. Lift up your hands and let it get on you. I can't explain it. Come on. It's a fruit of the spirit that'll change your city. kindness. I got to hurry. L a soul winner is led by the spirit. They don't just go knock every door. They're led as they knock doors. They don't stand by the Walmart front of Walmart and pass out a flyer to everybody walk that everybody walks. Matter of fact, they can actually get a bug a buggy and go shopping and feel when they turn down the aisle. Do it. Do it. Holy Ghost radar. Do it. Do it. Nope. Not open. Do it. Do it. Not open. I'm about to be led. I'm about to be led. And God's not only going to leave me the person, but he's going to give me the words to say. Somebody said, "I don't ever know what I would say." Oh, baby, if you'll just open up your mouth, he'll give you the words to say. I'm talking about being led of the spirit. A soul winner understands that when he is praying and somebody comes to his mind, that means that they're on God's mind. Come on. When somebody comes to your mind, oh, when somebody comes to your mind and you can't get away from it, pick up the phone and invite them to dinner. Go by their house. Come on. This is this I'm talking about spirit-led soul-winning A soul winner is misunderstood and okay with it. I said it today. All my close friends are soul winners cuz I don't fit in in every crowd. Sometimes I sit down at tables and I don't have a lot to say. But I know there's something that's got a hold of me. I'm trying to preach right now. There's somebody in this room. You're trying to figure out why in the world you don't fit in. It's because oh, you were
willing. It was the will of God. Not that you fit in, but that you fit on the outside. that you oh it's okay being come on still come to church still be a part but you got to be okay with being lab labeled as crazy you got to be okay with being labeled as radical who thought in a day like this day that a soul winner does not would not always fit with church culture How do you fix it? You got to get on fire tonight. How do we make this normal? You got to get crazy tonight. Well, these are my giftings. Those are my Hey, let me tell you what I know. A soul winner isn't a good soul winner because every person he talks to gets converted. A soul winner is a good soul winner cuz he keeps trying and he keeps fishing. And some days he goes and he casts and there's nothing else there. Got to move on. A soul winner notices their neighbors. God did a miracle in my neighborhood shortly after that revival where we saw 380 some odd people baptized in Jesus name. We passed out these cards to everybody. Five soul winners or five soul five new souls, five backsliders, five miracles that you want God to do. We man, we feel people checked off their entire lists. Why? Because a soul winner is an intercessor. But during that revival, there would be times where we got out and we just baptized 18 people. And we get in the car and I look over and my wife, I could tell she was troubled. I'm like, "Girl, it's going on here, baby. Look what God is doing. She said, "Yeah, I'm so thankful." She said, "I know it's been a while since we've been home. I have stayed more days in this evangelist quarters than my own home." She said, "I'm so glad what God's doing." She said, "But I can't quit thinking about them neighborhood kids next door to us." She said, "You know, I I put them on my list." She said, "I've been praying. His name was [name redacted]. One of them. [name redacted]. [name redacted]. [name redacted]. [name redacted]. How do I know? I know because I went out in the yard. I was playing baseball with him. D up to back. Granny McFanny. And he'd get so mad and he'd swing and miss. But there was a burden. Something was happening. We gave the we gave the the address to our bus ministry. Said, "We got you got to go buy this this house. You got to go buy this house." They went by nothing doing. They're not going to let them. They're not coming to church. Cindy kept on praying. But they kept going by bringing candy and playing with these kids. Next thing you know, [name redacted] and [name redacted] and [name redacted] are singing in the kids' choir. And Brother Jennings and Sister Jennings, they're working. Oh, God. They're working with these kids and they're up singing and we're there in service. Next thing you know, [name redacted] said, "Mama, will you We're singing today. Will you please come?" She don't understand that my wife had been praying for her, for over a year. But prayer is working. Prayer is moving. Why? Cuz even though all these people were getting the Holy Ghost, she couldn't get her mind off of her neighbor. She looks and guess what? There's Christine in the back. Holy Ghost is moving and there's tears going down her face. And my wife just slipped over there and put her arm around and said, "Hey, hey, Christine."
She said, " what you're feeling is the Holy Ghost." She said, 'I don't know what this is. I don't know nothing about it. My wife said, 'I tell you what, how about this? I'm going to cook you and your family a meal, and I've got a really nice coffee machine that my husband bought me for Christmas and and you come by and eat, and I'll teach your whole family a Bible study. Hey, listen. I'm packing my bags. I'm getting ready to fly out and she's getting stuff ready in the kitchen. I said, "What are you doing?" She said, "I got a Bible study today. You got a what?" She said, "Yeah, that girl I've been praying for for over a year." I couldn't get her off of my mind. We baptized the whole family in Jesus' name cuz somebody wouldn't stop praying. Come on. I know you want to reach the nations, but do you see your neighbor? Oh, a soul winner takes ownership of his city. A soul winner says, "I'm not waiting on anybody else. I'm not waiting on the evangelist to come to town. I'm going to pick up my Bible and I'm about to start a revival in this city." Why? cuz this is my city and this is my revival and these are the souls that God gave me. Some of the greatest evangelists that I know personally never get on a flyer or brother Dave Brown. They're the They're the Kevin Bostonanss who when I was in Zanesville, Ohio, said, "Brother Fish, I I I don't know if you you you do this, but can we go to the crack house in town?" I said, "Man, let's go." He said, "No." He said, "There's a specific one." He said, " my God have mercy." He said, "I remember sitting outside of it when my wife was in there shooting up and I didn't know if she was going to come out. I thought she was going to die." That man began to knock those doors. We begin to walk the roughest parts of Zanesville. We knocked them doors. We went through that city. He had never taught a Bible study in his life. Only been in church for two years. But as we were there, something got a hold of him. He said, "I'm praying for my city every day." Brother Evan, something got a hold of him. And when it did, at the first week that we were there, he taught five Bible studies and baptized three in Jesus name. What am I saying? I'm saying when you realize this is your city, baby. When you realize the same anointing that's on me and the same anointing that's on your pastor and the same anointing that's on the greatest evangelist that you could even think of is on your life. You will take the city, be a soul winner, partners with angels. That revival, he's not here, but I was revival. We would pray at 7:00 a.m. I was there with Pastor Aaron Bounds and me and him were in that sanctuary. Brother Dave Brown, he's here. He's in that sanctuary every morning, 4:00 in the morning crying out to God. We were there. We were there laying in the front. And I'm telling you, the most p some of the the the most different one of the most different anointings. It's the only way I can explain it that I ever felt. I felt it. You know, when somebody's behind you, you know they're there. I could feel it, Brother Mayo, coming up the middle aisle. Oh, God. And my first thought was, what is that? I'm telling you, it was almost like a almost make you immobile type kind of thing. Brother Bounds begin to scream out. Oh God, the same the same angel that visited the house of Cornelius. has just walked into this place to assist us with what we will soon reap in this city. I pray we still believe in angels around here.
Oh, preacher, why you got to get spooky like this? Cuz I can't do this on my own. Preacher, why do you got to get out there like that? Co. Let me tell you, in a 20 in in a a 28 day time 28 days of evangelism, we were sending outreach teams out two times a day. Guess what we did? We saw 48 people baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. We pulled a man off the side of a bridge who was about to drive his car into the ravine. We baptized him in the name of Jesus. I got to have angels. I got to have angels, brother Sullivan. I I believe there's going to be a visitation of angels that come to the revivals that you're in. Come on. We've got to have it. Somebody lift up your voice and cry out. I know I've been going a while. you a soul winner. Ask the right questions. You don't have a Bible study because you won't ask for one. What do I ask on outreach? Two questions. First question, we're a church that believes in the power of prayer. Do you have a prayer request that we can pray about right now? right now. I'm telling you, some of the greatest street evangelists are in this room right now and have yet to go out on the street. I'm telling you how to do it. Knock that door and keep your card in your pocket till you have a God moment. Ask them what their prayer request is. And when you get it, grab them by the hand and pray in the Holy Ghost. That's how you see people filled with the Holy Ghost before they ever get here. Questions are a soul winner always has someone on their radar. Who's on your radar? Who's on your Holy Ghost ra rad radar? As a matter of fact, is there anybody on your Holy Ghost radar? Come on. And I've got a list on my phone. It's in my pen notes. I got a list on my phone of the people that I'm working, that I'm praying for. Oh, I love it. I've seen Bishop Holmes do it. The whole revival. He pull out that little notepad and he's writing. You know what? He ain't writing, "Well, we need to fix the carpet here. Well, we need to fix that." No, he's writing. Soul, soul, soul, soul, soul, soul, soul, soul. Who's on your Holy Ghost radar? And you know what we did, Brother Jennings? Oh, I'm I'm about to I'm about to give away the North Little Rock secret right here. Come on. We went back to a little room over there that most people don't even know about. Oh, God. And the bishop sat in there with me, me, him, and the ladies that are in there all the time. And they had printed out lists of every visitor that's ever come to this church, every backslider that ain't been at this church. And before services, we're calling. Praise the Lord. This is Evangelist Taylor Fish. We'd love to see you in the house of the Lord. Oh, wait. You're You're the one preaching on the screen. Yeah. You know what? Meet me at the altar. Do you want the Holy Absolutely. You know how many people I prayed through the Holy Ghost right here because they came up during the revival and they begin to do this? Come on. Hey, let me tell you. We got to have some people on their radar. Hey, I've started call centers all over America after this revival. You want to know why? Come on. Cuz the bill collector will call you and the cruise line will call you, but but the church won't call you. The insurance company will call you. We want to put something on Facebook and hope they see it. No, baby, they're on my radar. Let's go get them. A soul winner is submitted to their pastor. You can't be submitted to your pastor if you don't have a pastor. A soul winner is submitted to their pastor.
I was going to that Asbury revival. I called my pastor. I said, "Pastor, this is crazy." Come on. The Lord spoke to me to go and preach. If I'm crazy, I won't go. But if you'll bless me, I'll go. You know who said that? Moses said that. Moses went back to Jethro. Jethro said, "Go listen, a soul winner when he's working out on the in the field must have a man that covers them and can tell them no because because the devil is going to fight a soul winner harder than he fights anybody else." Oh. Oh, preacher, you need somebody tell you what to I'm preaching about safety right now. I'm preaching about safety. I'm talking about walking into the onto the battlefield with armor on. I'm talking about walking into the battlefield with somebody covering you. See, a soul winner tries. They try. Hear me. Somebody in this place said, "Oh, preacher, I could never do some of this stuff." You got to understand, there comes a time in your walk with God. If you're ever going to be what God's called you to be, you got to just go for it. Peter was the only one that had the story that he stepped out on the water. What am I saying? If you're Oh, come on. You hear all these stories, you're like, "Man, I wish I could get some stories." There's only one way to get stories. You got to try. You got to go for it. Evangelist, you got to do something you never did. Come on, saint of God. You got to do something you never did. Come on, pastor. You got to do something you never did before. I'm almost done tonight. You, a soul winner does the unseen. Listen now. A true soul winner mostly works in those unknown, unseen, uncaptured moments. There aren't many soul-winning highlight reels too many times. And you know, I love the technology and how advanced we've become, but I want to tell you, soul winners aren't worried about being seen. Most of their Saturdays are never captured. Most of their Bible studies, come on, nobody's going live in the middle of their Bible study. Nobody knows what's happening. You know what? All they're doing is they're trying to make a difference for God when nobody else knows. I'm telling you, God is calling somebody to a unseen ministry that's going to shake the city. Hey, an unseen ministry. I'm preaching to somebody right now. Maybe they'll never see me. Oh, but I love what you said, brother. One of these days I'm going to see them on the other side. The soul winner visits those who are in prison. Matthew 25:43, I was a stranger. You took me not in. Naked, you clothed me not. Sick and in prison, and ye visited me not. A soul winner visits those who are in prison. I know that we want everyone to come to us, but sometimes we've got to go to them. I was preaching at a church in Madisonville, Kentucky, Pastor Dustin Lee. And when I took the pulpit, God took me into a vision. Understand this church, I mean 99% of the people in that church were women for whatever reason. Not a lot of men in that church outside the pastor. Maybe maybe two more. When I took the pulpit, God took me into a vision and I looked and literally in almost every empty seat, I I saw men in suits. It was just a split second. And I stepped back and I begin to prophesy and I began to say, "I know that this I know that this church has mainly women, but I'm telling you, there's a revival that's coming.
There's going to be a revival of strong praying apostolic men. and the pastor and another the pastor and another church not far from there, they got together and they decided they were going to go into the jails and they begin to preach in these jails. And for whatever reason, can't really get into the women's unit, but they're in the men's unit and they're preaching and people are getting the Holy Ghost out. I went back to that church to preach and I walked in there and there was a man there and a man there and a man there and a man there and a man there and a man there. I looked at brother brother Dustin Lee. I said, "What in the world has went on?" He said, "Man, you remember what you prophesied?" He said, "It was one mile down the road from ush. We went down to the jail and it's turned our church inside out." Oh, come on. Come on. I'm preaching. Sometimes we got to go to them. Sometimes we got to go to them. Somebody lift up your hands and pray. A soul winner walks in wisdom towards them that are without. Without what? without the joy that's here, without the peace that's here. Come on, man. I don't know you, but I feel something on you right now. Oh, a true soul winner gets their eyes off of themselves and they get their eyes off of everything they have and they get their eyes on everything that they don't have. I'm preaching to somebody in this place about the ones that are without truth without joy without peace without hope without deliverance. X a soul winner will make extreme consecrations and commitments to win us all. Will you take the challenge tonight? Lord, I won't pick up an Xbox controller till I win a soul. Lord, I won't pick up the golf clubs until I win a soul. You want to know why these 52-day fasts work? Cuz somebody gets focused and somebody gives something up until it happens. I'm preaching to somebody right now. Come on. There is a vacancy in Pentecost. We got preachers. We got singers. But where are the soul winners? Where are the soul winners? Somebody's got to get under a burden and say, "I'll give up anything." I'm thankful for all God's doing with you, Brother Crowder. But I believe an anointing of a soul winner is coming on you tonight. I'll let go of anything. I'll change anything. Why a soul winner yields to the Holy Ghost. There's something that we've been doing in our home. I'm telling you, it's changed our family. It's called party prayer. I'm telling you, some of the greatest moves of God that I've had as of late have been in hotel rooms and evangelist quarters across the nation. We have party prayer. P A R T Y P. We're going to praise him. A, we're going to ask him for we're going to give him our petitions. R, we're going to repent. T, we're going to give him thanks. But when we get to why I love to hear my wife explain it. Said, "We're going to yield to the Holy Ghost." My baby say mama what yield mean? Said baby you know how God is using our family to go. When we yield to the Holy Ghost we pray God I'll go anywhere. I'll do anything. I'll say whatever you want me to say.
I surrender to your will. I surrender to your purpose. When is the last time we truly did yield to the Holy Ghost? Cuz when you yield, you let go of all parameters and you say, "God, whatever you're about to do with my family, I'm going to stay committed. I'm going to be submitted, but I'm ready to take whatever step of faith you're asking of me. Come on, lift your hands and begin to pray in this house. Come on, let's really pray. Let's stand across the room. I'm telling you, there's about to be a Holy Ghost burden that hits this place. Brother Andrew Varnum, come up here with me. Come on, somebody stretch your hands towards this young man. God's getting ready to use this man so greatly. The last one I give it to you tonight. Z ABCs of of a soul winner. Zero hesitation. Listen, listen, listen. Zero distractions and zero excuses. I've come to preach the almost out of somebody tonight. I almost went for it. I almost stepped out. I almost tried. I almost thought I'd surrender all. I almost gave everything. I'm preaching to the apostolic church tonight. We've got so many excuses and we've got to get rid of them here tonight. There's got to be somebody tonight that'll stand up with a holy boldness and say, "I'm tired of letting hell feed me excuses. I'm tired of letting the adversary tell me why I can't have revival." Brother Kurt, if you'd come, let's lift our hands and pray right now. Hesitation is leaving us tonight. Every excuse that has been binding you is leaving tonight. I thought about him today, pastor. I thought about him sitting right over here giving away a turkey dinner. Here came a man pushing a bike. We asked him, "What is what is it that you need?" Brother Clark Copeland, he looked at us. He stopped. I'm talking about a man that could ask for anything. a home, a car, peace of mind, away from his addiction, whatever. He didn't give us a request. Instead, he put something in my spirit that in every city that I've walked into since, I've been looking for. He looked at me and he said, "Sir, I'm better than what I've been living. I'm better than how I've been living lately." We said, "Lift up your hands, sir." We laid hands on him, and God filled him with the Holy Ghost in the parking lot.
walking towards those that are without apostolic. We have so much, but I've come to preach tonight where God is taking us is out. Where God is sending us is out. Highways and byways and apartment complexes and trailer parks and home additions. I'm telling you right now, there's a burden that's about to set on this place. I want you to lift up your hands. I'm done preaching here tonight. but the prayer must begin now. I'm telling you right now, we've got to pray till the hesitation leaves us. we've got to pray till every excuse that we have leaves us. we got to pray till we rid ourselves of every reason why it cannot happen. I want you to begin to lift up your voice. come on, we'll shout later on. But right now, there's a burden that God wants to set on our shoulders. There's a burden that God wants to put on our shoulders here tonight. Every hand lifted, somebody begin to cry out in this place. I want you to begin to pray and say, "God, tonight hesitation leaves. God, tonight everything in my life that's been holding me back, I'm letting it go. Come on. It's time for a commitment in this house. Let a burden rest on you. Let a burden rest on you. Come on, apostolic. We got a lot of looking around. I want you to close your eyes and pray till you see their faces. I want you to close your eyes and pray till you see their faces. I believe that I believe the next great soul winner in your city is in this place right now. I believe the next great soul winner in America is in this place right now. Come on, preacher. Why don't you get real with God and say, "God, I preached and I preached and I preached." You got to lead me to a soul. I preached and I preached and I preached. I preached and I programmed until I have nothing left. I've got to have a soul. Come on, pray it in right now. There's a burden setting down. Pray it in right now. Pray it in right now. Pray it in right now. Pray it in right now. Pray it in right now. God, I'll go. God, I'm available. God, there's nothing that I won't do. There's no way I won't go. If you ain't praying for yourself, find somebody to pray with. Come on. This is a night of destiny. This is a night of renewed purpose. This is a night of renewed purpose for somebody in this place. God, shake up your people, God. I ask that you would shake the apostolic church tonight. I pray God that you would shake us out of our buildings. I pray God that you would shake us out of our comfort. I pray God that you would shake us out of our carnality. I pray God that you would shake us Come on, get your hands in the air. Get your eyes closed. God's doing something. by put your hand on somebody next to you and begin to pray.
Come on. their souls in this in this
