When Your Ship Comes In, Make Sure You Are Not At The Bus Station

the United Pentecostal Church is blessed to have the Huntley a part of it and I would like for you to give them an welcome to because the times he's here annually but I never want to take him for granted and praise the Lord everybody I would ask you to remain standing just a moment I personally would have appreciated following for the first time I've ever made a statement like this I would have appreciated following Brother Tenny as the bunch Ministries brother Tenny has always challenged me but they have intimidated me I want to tell you and I'll try not to be as redundant as possible for the sake of time and plus just the fact that we we are all in a spiritual atmosphere and we are all spiritual enough to discern what the Holy Ghost is saying and the message has been preached it just keeps coming in a little different form a little different flavor but the word of God Has Come pointedly to this conference and every man that has preceded me there has not been excuse the secular reference but there has not been one one single one double one triple every man that has stepped to this platform has hit home runs one right after the other some of the most fantastic preaching I've ever heard in my life and I'm glad to tell you this afternoon that the United Pentecostal church has the greatest preachers in the world I am in a very enviable position one that I really like I find myself sometimes in otherwise situations but I find myself this afternoon in a very enviable position and that is it's the bottom of the 9th I'm the closer and we're so far ahead we can't lose can't lose and all I've got to do is strike out one man and we're going to celebrate tonight Jeremiah chapter 32 I give honor to all of our ministers our official officials our distinguished platform guests here this afternoon to the mangun who are the greatest encouragers in the world I have been convinced in the last years that one of the greatest gifts the church needs in this hour is the gift of encouragement and I have been inspired by them to pursue that gift and if there's anything I want to be it is an encourager because you've got it and you can do it Jeremiah 32 verse number 6 and Jeremiah said the word of the Lord came unto me saying and this is the word of the Lord that we've heard oft referred to in this conference behold Hanameel the son of Shallum thine Uncle shall come unto be saying Buy thee my field that is in anathoth for the right of redemption is thine to buy it what the spirit seems to be impressing upon us and especially our young ministers I emphasize that it is time to buy in to this that's right the right is yours you are privileged to have opportunity to buy in to this that's right so Hanameel my uncle's son came to me in the court of the prison according to the word of the Lord and said unto me Buy my field I pray thee that is in anathoth which is in the country of Benjamin for the right of inheritance is thine and the Redemption is thine buy it for thyself then I knew that this was the word of the Lord is there a witness in this Auditorium this afternoon that there was some thought

there was some opinion there was some possibility but the recurrence of the voice of the spirit has brought a confirmation to your soul that this is the word of the Lord and I bought the field of Hanameel my uncle son that was an anathoth and weighed him the money even 17 shekels of silver and to affirm the fact that I had bought it I subscribed the evidence there needs to be some evidence of purchase and then I sealed it and I took Witnesses and I weighed him the money in the balances I not only purchased it I wanted there to be those around me that would see the evidence of it that would witness it I sealed it that I have truly bought in to this the word of the Lord to Jeremiah Was to buy in a time when everybody was selling that's right so I want to preach to you this afternoon for a few minutes on the subject when your ship comes in make sure you're not at the bus station turn around to somebody and say make sure you're not at the bus station cause your ship is coming in witness to somebody else your ship's coming in your ship is coming in and you may be seated my motive in preaching this message this afternoon is this I like to have a Target when I shoot and so I will let you know where my target is this afternoon it is to address and dismiss from any mind that may be here today the possible thought to default defect or to deny your Divine Destiny if there are any here that are in the ropes of indecision controversy debate or discussion relative to the will of God being performed in your life we've heard it over and over and over but I will affirm it in the closure this afternoon that it is happening and it is going to happen for you the devil doesn't mind you acknowledging it's happening as long as he can disqualify you from it happening to you but I come to stand in the stead of those here today that are in discussion and say go home it's going to happen your ship is coming in ever so often through my life I've heard that term your ship is coming in and usually people use it in some far off relationship of something that is so ridiculous that they can't even believe it of something they really desire what they really want but feel they will never possibly have and they will say oh yeah well I'm going to do that when my ship comes in when my ship comes in I want to challenge you through the eyes of the spirit here for just a moment to lift up your eyes again and Survey the shoreline because on your spiritual Horizons I see dots which are vessels headed toward your shore I see the ships heading toward your city toward your

ministry toward your state just make sure when your ship comes in you're not at the bus station that's right so what I am going to Endeavor to preach to you is that the ships of holy aspirations are coming in the ships of inspirational intentions are coming in the ships of prayer are coming in the ships of Burden are coming in Visions are coming in prophetical fulfillments are now happening you've got to understand that we are dealing with a major Concept in Pentecostalism once this concept is destroyed then we will be free to activate what God wants us to have we are traditionally better as Pentecostals at begging than believing we are traditionally better at asking than receiving but we have moved from the asking side of Revival to the receiving side from the seeking side to the finding side from the knocking side to the opening side our ships are coming in now our major determinant and distinction of blessing in this moment of finality is not in Dazzle Razzle Talent skills manipulation or human maneuvering the key that I've got to emphasize to you today is your Victory is in spiritual positioning spiritual posturing and proper placement okay we have complicated Revival we have complicated miraculous moves of God but in a very simplistic statement this is the key the right man at the right place at the right time with the right message what I'm preaching is find your place in God and just stay there because your ships are coming in but make sure you're at the shore and not at the bus station somebody shout hallelujah hallelujah we don't need to do a lot of moving we just need to stay where we are in God find your right place and stay there and stay there the greatest mistake you can make right now is to become haphazard inconsistent unpredictable and double-minded there are too many folks that want Revival just and because of the time it's not going to happen in a three-day period you got to want it on Sunday morning you got to want it on Sunday night you got to want it on Monday you got to want it on Wednesday you got to want it on Friday nothing or nobody can move you off of it it's Revival if your church shouts it's Revival if the church pouts it's Revival when things are up it's Revival when things are down a double-minded man is

unstable in all his ways this is no hour for vacillation wishy-washy wondering and fluctuation it's time to come to grips with who you are what you are about and then just stay with it there is a most severe rebuke in the word of God for a long time I could not figure out why such a severe Stern rebuke when the Bible talked about in the book of Jude 13 wandering Stars wandering stars and the scripture said there is reserve for them there is a reservation in the Blackness of Darkness for wandering stars I could not figure out why such a severe punishment until I realize a little simple definition from Webster and a star is defined as a fixed point of life a fixed point of light and much of our world is affected by the locations of the stars and the wise men were led to the Christ Child by a star our world can never find him if the ministry is wandering Stars wandering Stars we are to be fixed Points of Light two characteristics of a star there to be bright and there to be burning and they're not to move that's right way they are to be fixed so that anybody can look at them and get true Direction We ought to be smart enough just humanly wisd wisdom to understand the tactics of the adversary in the World of Sports if you don't know your strengths all you have to observe is the defense that is placed against you your opponent and your adversary will declare for you your strengths and I think we're in an hour when we need to be wise enough to understand that our adversary through his ignorance is exposing to us our strength everything he wants us to do in opposition to who we are and what we are he's screaming that's your strength right and it's time to take a stand and make a stand for God your ship is going to come in but make sure you're not somewhere else when it arrives there are too many folks that have sent out their prayers sent out their faith sent out their vision and God answered their prayer but they were not present so if the devil can take you out of the picture there's nothing he'd rather do but we've got to get a tenacity and we've got to get a strength that simply says nothing's going to move me nothing's going to shake me nothing's going to alter me I'm going to see it through hallah God told Jeremiah to

buy when everyone else was wanting to sell this act would be an evident witness and testimony to his trust and his confidence in God they would think you'd be foolish to buy land here we're getting ready to go into captivity oh yeah but we will be in Babylon only 70 years and we're going to come back this condition is not permanent this condition is not Everlasting there's going to be a little period of time when it's going to look like I've lost that I made a bad move that I have failed but let me tell you let the clock turn a few more hours let the calendar flip a few more pages if you go to start a whole Missionary Church don't put God on a Time budget don't tell God you got a year don't tell God you got two years go into town and say we're here till it happens we're not going to try the Evangelistic field we're not going to try pastoring we're not going to try missions the problem with some of us is we have rented this we have leased this but we have not bought into it Nicodemus or Joseph of arthia rather proved his faith in the Messiah when Jesus needed a sepulchre Joseph said I've got one and sepulchres are not things you rent out and sepulchres are not things you lease out but Joseph said I'm feeling pretty good today and all I've got to do is last three days and it'll be mine again because there will be a resurrection you may have to be in a dark place for a few days but don't leave the dock your ship is coming in you know what I along with some of my other friends have recently turned 50 and it's so far so good think so brother Arnold is 63 thanks for the encouragement I've lived long enough in this United Pentecostal Church to see something very sad and something very heart rendering and that is some of the people that preached the hardest about what I've enjoyed and has happened to this church they preached it in the face of ridicule yeah they preached it in the face of laughter but now that it's here they are not here to enjoy it we are seeing the day of the Fulfillment of the Prophecies of men that have gone on before us who prophesied we would see this day but they themselves were not able to participate in it I'm telling you your ship is coming in but you're going to have to make sure you're not somewhere you don't belong it's going to happen don't leave your church and let somebody else have the Revival don't resign your church and let

somebody else see the move of God come on I'm preaching to somebody today that came here thinking maybe you'd go home and resign I'm preaching to somebody who came here thinking well this is it I'm about to throw in the towel but if you lift your eyes up on the horizon in the spirit I see ships headed your way a miracle ministry Revival new property a new building altar fi Baptist stre field the ships are coming in make sure you're not at the bus station prophesy now Lord have mercy turn around and somebody and say it's going to happen just stay there it's going to happen just stay there it's going to happen just stay there it's going to happen just stay there because you're going home a different man you're going home a different preacher you're going home a different individual don't leave the seashore praise God and I want to add this and I will come to a little more in just a minute but you never benefit yourself thinking that the United Pentecostal Church is your problem that's right that's exactly right that's right and if I just get out of this organization that's right I could have Revival you're deceiving yourself that's right I don't know of a group that encourages Revival and the outpouring of the Holy Ghost and the moving of the spirit and progress anymore than this organization God told Jeremiah I want you to buy in a time of selling many are selling the truth but you can't get any plainer than the word of God when it says buy the truth buy the truth and sell it not while some are selling acts 238 we need to buy it We Don't Preach Full Gospel We Don't Preach whole gospel we preach the gospel there's only one death there's only one burial there's only one Resurrection ction acts 238 is not a way it's the way that's right that's right buy it buy it buy it buy it I want to say it and I don't want to say it can't you understand the flow is coming this way know the tide is coming this way it's not going the way of compromise it's not going the way of liberalism it's not going the way of easy believism it's coming toward acts 238 that's right right that's right right

I don't even really know the story I shared it with brother Foster I'll give you just a quick point I don't want to re redone what these men have already said but I got a call the other day in Raleigh from a lady in our church she said pastor I wanted you to hear this she said there's a large Church in our city it's not of the apostolic faith she said recently they had a man to come by and preach for them whom they called the prophet he was like an evangelist traveling Minister but they labeled him the prophet and she said I thought you'd like to know what he did he got up in this Congregation of about a thousand people and he said this is a great church he said this is the nearest to the book of Acts church I've ever preached in he said but the Holy Ghost has spoken to me to tell you one thing there is one thing you lack and if you will obey this there will be no end to your growth if you don't obey this you will be forgotten he said you must come to the apostolic Doctrine here a while back I had a man to come by our church for a service when he got through preaching he was trying to inspire the the audience you can become so wise you become a fool and trying to demonstrate wisdom he said the house was jam packed he said if anybody gets saved here tonight do me one favor don't leave without letting somebody know it I'm sitting on the platform about to pass out but I didn't say a word I let it go Wednesday night I said Sunday night there was a statement made here to our guest if you get saved please don't leave without letting somebody know I said that is baloney that's right because in this church if you get saved somebody's going to hear you speak in tongues and your head's going to be wet that's right that's right because you got to be born again of the water and of the spirit and God's not in the dry cleaning business while folks are selling acts 238 we need to buy it while they're selling one God we need to buy it while they're selling Holiness we need to buy it while they're selling oldfashioned worship we need to buy it our churches need to be wilder than they've ever been more hand clapping more a running more tongue talking more dancing more outpouring of the spirit remain standing just a minute and don't get your hope St cuz I ain't through I'd like to say something else worship will never run anybody off never have listen that you want to keep yeah that's right that's right we got to calm this down if we calm this down we'll die if we settle this down we'll die we got a buy into this we don't need discussion tables in our Sanctuary we need our runners we need tongue talkers we need fiery preachers and a move of God come on turn around to somebody and say if you have sold your worship you need to buy it

back that's right hey preacher you can't heat an oven with a snowball I said you can't heat an oven with a snowball we need to be on fire and not ashamed to dance and not ashamed to shout and not too powerful to praise our God by your worship back h hallu i get amazed at folks coming around armchair quarterbacks yeah some of them ain't never Pastor to church but they know all about how it could be done been on Evangelistic field two months and they know all about every problem you've got I had some evangelist come out my church one time years ago and we were just getting with it like we supposed to and evangelist wife made a smart remark about our worship now there's a move of honesty in this meeting and I will make a confession here by Nature I am a smart aleck you wouldn't believe that would you yeah I am let me give a good illustration of that remind me about that evangelist wife I am 50 I we were having supper one evening show you how I'm a smart aleck and my daughter and I were at the table my wife had already brought the food over but she was still doing some things in the kitchen wasn't quite ready for a seat Well Christie and I were hungry and so we we just started eating so the lady of the house comes to the table and she's upset because we got our face in the plate and she don't even have one yet and so she says did y'all pray I said are we eating we always pray she says I didn't hear you I said we weren't talking to you and you know what she forgave me and she's still with me but I have a tendency to be a little slower now before I put my mouth in the trough yes sir here's this evangelist wife been on the field 6 months and they did a guest to come to church out of the city we're having Revival praying people through great things are happening ongoing she says I brought a guest tonight y'all ain't going to never win souls acting like y'all are acting tonight you embarrassed me this church embarrassed me that Spirit of smart aleck Rose I wanted to grab her and escort her to the door and say I have met your spirit before but I was Nic from that I said I want you to look out here you see this building full of people we've been doing that ever since we got here and it ain't hurt us yet and we ain't about to stop I'm with you hey you don't have to calm this down to win certain groups of people you're making a mistake if you try to tailor this for certain groups in your city don't ever forget it you're going to have to Pastor them after you win them right and if you acquest to win them you have to acquest to keep them you might as well make up your mind we're going to be what we are and if this is what you're looking for you're at the right

place I'm fishing for Revival I'm fishing for an Apostolic church we need to take a stand I preached to our young preachers you need to take a stand you need to get a backbone you don't need to be wishy-washy with a cool cat of Pentecost you don't need to let the gqs the suave guys dictate who you are and what you believe take a stand when the adversary came down on Sha it wasn't anything but a Pea Patch and his buddies were hollering we're outnumbered man we're outnumbered that's one of the devil's favorite lies I want to say to you this afternoon this organization is more conservative than the devil wants you to think there are strong spirits that won't make you think you're outnumbered if you take a stand and they said sha don't try to be a hero and end up a zero this is not worth fighting over have you noticed that the list of things to fight for is getting less L and less and less I want to give you quickly a p patch perspective number one you got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything that's exactly right and I don't care what persuasion you go with every denomination every preacher has standard don't be deceived to think that there's a place where there is no standard there is a standard everywhere everybody's got a line drawn in the sand somewhere in Raleigh a religious City even the most liberal confessing Christian gets up on their Soap Box on Halloween they live like Devils all year long but on Halloween they declare war for one night for one night and they condemn everybody that lets their kids put some kind of animal costume on or some kind of mask or something you know and they put everybody in Hell everybody's got lines you're going to have to draw a line somewhere sometime the second thing I like for you to notice is that if you will stand for God God will stand for you I have never lost anybody over our positions a Biblical standard and Holiness and righteousness that God didn't replace with somebody better the third thing I like for you to notice is and shiaa seem to understand it yes boys it is just a Pea Patch but you don't understand the enemy if we give him our peas he'll be back next week for our corn that's right and if we give him our corn he'll be back for our okra hear me this afternoon you never win by compromising with the Devil he will tell you it's just this one thing and you will rationalize and

you'll think well that's not all that big of an issue but you're playing the fool because if you give him that he'll be back in a week for something else that's right so where do you stand brother Hunley I've just decided I'm going to draw the line where we've always been and say I'm going to have to fight him somewhere I think I'll just fight him here I'm going to have to face him somewhere I think I'll just face him right here the major issue you've heard all the prophecy you've heard the Declaration you've heard brother tenny's masterful revelation of where we are every bit of that is true yay and amen the only thing you need to determine is where are you going to be when it happens the main thing is making sure that when it comes I'm still here turn around your neighbor say the main thing is to make sure that you're there just be there just be there just be there there's fixing to come a latter rain and all you got to do to get wet is be there just be there my son-in-law's father he may be here today he said something about possibly coming I don't know there he is right there brother martin ballero a unique character has a unique gift of being at the right place at the right time I may not have the details right but I think it's close enough to tell it without bending the truth he's passing by this Auditorium he's got his trt coat on he's got a top hat on he's got a walkie-talkie in his hand he's a radio man some type of radio he's he's into all that he happens to be passing by this door this door opens several men step out and one guy says hey he's coming out this door he's coming out this door he's an inquisitive guy he finds out out from someone else who they're talking about it's the king Elvis is doing a concert in here and he's fixing to come out this side door and brother balero standing with his black top coat on and his hat and His Radio on his hand and so they think he's part of Elvis's security and so they say he's coming out this door right here and one of the security men says would you cover that door he saids I got it he got his ready on his hand 104 we got it bring him all few minutes here comes a rush of people a limousine pulls up Elvis steps out the door Elvis looks at him and says thank you very much steps into the limo it wasn't because he was Martin Ballo it wasn't because he was a renowned singer or musician or high security he just happened to be standing there where the King was going to be coming the main thing is to make sure you're there just be there Elijah and Elisha he said and it came to pass to stand with me when they were called over that Elijah said un Elisha ask what I should do for thee before I be taken away from thee and Elisha said I pray thee let a double portion of thy Spirit be upon me and he said thou has ask a hard thing nevertheless if thou see me just be

there don't let adultery get you that's right don't let compromise get you don't let a bad Spirit Get You jealousy don't let jealousy get you just make sure you're there we ought to celebrate one of the greatest victories in the world I am here greater than me have defaulted greater than me have fallen but I'm here today because of the miracle of his Mercy the miracle of his grace it wasn't because he was a member of Gold's Gym or that he had exceptional qualities that met the demand description there were no resumés there was no search for a talent there was no expertise or years of experience but somebody turned around and said you you carry that cross and Simon shouldered it and was the first one to feel the blood just because he was there he was there bloody blurry eyes gaping hole in his side Nails in his hands and feet life leaving breath erratic gasping and gurgling his eyes dropped from the cross and Below him he speaks some of his final words son behold your mother mother behold your son John take my place why he was there he was there too many of us want to show up on game day but too good to practice that's exactly I'm preaching to Young preachers all of Too Good For the Rest Home Ministry too busy for the bus Ministry too great to preach on the street but give me Sunday night I'm going to tell you who God's going to use the one that's there the one that's there I didn't understand him and he called me a devil but I was there I tried when no one else would even attempt I got distracted and I almost drowned but I was there I fell asleep when he needed me the most and I was embarrassed but I was there I was humiliated I was humbled I was discouraged I was defeated but I made myself go anyway and suddenly there came a sound from Heaven as of a rushing Mighty Wind and Peter was filled with the Holy Ghost and preached the message of Pentecost because he was there he was there every once in a while in Raleigh they'll have some contest at grocery stores businesses you enter in drop a ticket into a box for a new truck or a new car free entry for everyone that comes They will announce the day that the going to have the drawing many times there's only one

stipulation in small print it says You must be present do we good you got to be there you may be bloody you may be bruised you may be battered but all he asked be there just be there the only way you're going to miss it now is do not show up if you'll be there your ship is going to come in make sure you're not at the bus station would you bow your heads please no one be dismissed at this point remain where you are for just a few minutes in respect to the word and the spirit I have zeroed in not on the entirety of the congregation today but the Holy Ghost has targeted two or three four or five 10 or 20 hear me as I speak to you in the spirit the biggest mistake you can make is to leave your ship is coming in don't let somebody feels welcome it I feel in the Holy Ghost that someone in this building feels inadequate for the challenge and therefore you desire to run you feel intimidated you want to flee I speak to you in the spirit stay and God will help you I see it on the horizon your prayers are headed your way your dreams are headed your way don't leave now you'll miss it the Holy Ghost witnesses to us now Hallelujah with your head bow your eyes closed that person beside you will probably not confess their need but the spirit has exposed their soul and mind touch them right now and just whisper your ship's coming in it's coming I see it I would like to give opportunity while you continue to pray for someone here that's just about let your dream slip through your fingers would you like to step forward right now and get a fresh grip on it get a fresh grip on your dream get a fresh grip on your vision get a fresh grip on your calling get a fresh grip on your holy Ambitions come on right now somebody's going to pray with you and help you it's headed your way don't leave now it's coming step on to the front right now so that others can pray with you if you leave now somebody else is going to reap your Harvest I if you leave now now somebody else is going to enjoy your

Revival the Lord if you surrender now somebody else is going to enjoy the crop that you planted you got to stay there now it's coming in he has never failed me yet let's pray for a spirit of encouragement to come now promise he has kept I like for some of you that are having great Revival I cannot come lay your hand on these and encourage them that it's too late to quit now home missionary stay in there hang in there your ship's coming in your ship's coming in make sure you're where you need to be hold on a little bit longer don't leave your harvest it's going to happen it's going to happen it's headed your way he has come on that's it let's pray find somebody pray with them right now your dreams are going to be reality and it's going to happen your ministry is coming your anointing is coming the Revival is coming the blessing is coming the miracle is coming it's on the horizon that should find somebody pray with them right now let God encourage somebody the Lord he has
